So I've been wanting to do this for quite some time. I'm a doctor and I work inside a very structured systems, protocols and hierarchy and very established answers.

But over the past few years, I've started building projects on the side. Not necessarily because I want to escape medicine, but I think I'd like to have the option to at some point.

These projects, building these projects feels very different from what I'm what i'm used to doing. in medicine, being wrong is very dangerous or can be very dangerous. And there are very proven paths and you follow them.

And you don't really stray. And that's not a criticism at all. it's it's I think it's probably necessary.
Embracing the Creative Process

But when I started taking this other path, It was like I entered a different world. Ideas were very much encouraged. There was no resistance.

Being wrong was part of the process and exploring these things was kind of the whole point.

And this was energizing to me in a way that I had not experienced before, to be honest.
Overcoming Fear and Trusting Instincts

was kind of invigorating. But here's the thing. i I've had this voice before. This voice telling me to go for something that

might be cool. And I've talked myself out of it. Every time. I've chosen a safe path.

But this time I'm i'm trying something different.

trying to actually listen and follow it, even though it's it's really scary.
Learning from Innovators

And so I started to do what I do when I want to learn something. I talk to people who know something about it. And in this case, it's people who have actually built something from an idea into something real.

And that's what this is going to be. It's not going to be theory or policy success stories. It's going to be me having very real conversations with founders and builders and operators about what this actually looks like and how you can actually do it from the inside.

All the resistance, all the wrong terms, all the times we're quitting make more sense than than continue.
