Speaker: Making multiple six figures or even seven figures may seem out of reach and a little bit overwhelming but amongst all the chaos it all can be boiled down into just one simple thing to help get you there.
Speaker: So in this episode we're going to be talking about the one thing that's preventing you from making multiple six and seven figures in commissions this year.
Speaker: Look, in the solar business, there's really only two types of people.
Speaker: There's the ones that crush it, make six, seven, and eight figures, and then there's everyone else.
Speaker: The question is, which one will you be?
Speaker: Over the last four years, we've studied the sharpest solar sales and marketing pros.
Speaker: and how they build multi-million dollar incomes using only the best solar sales and marketing strategies.
Speaker: So how do these solarpreneurs do what they do and what makes them so successful?
Speaker: This podcast is your answer.
Speaker: Join us and thousands of sales pros, marketers, and entrepreneurs as we take the solar industry by storm and uncover what it takes to sell more solar with less effort.
Speaker: Welcome to the Solarpreneur Podcast.
Speaker: Alright, so before we jump into this podcast, I just wanted to let you guys know that I don't want this to be another podcast that you guys just cycle through or listen to on your way to another door or an appointment, right?
Speaker: I want this to be a podcast that you take, listen to, and actually implement and for it to impact your life dramatically, right?
Speaker: And create change from it.
Speaker: Please don't listen to this podcast and just do nothing with it, right?
Speaker: That's the last thing that I want for you guys.
Speaker: And I don't want this to be the largest solar podcast in the industry where there's no people listening to it or actually implement anything from it, right?
Speaker: I'd rather have a smaller base of elite group of individuals that actually take this and implement it and change their lives radically and the lives of all the customers that they help go solar.
Speaker: So that's what I want.
Speaker: I don't want this to be like a million people listening to it and then no one takes action.
Speaker: I want this to be like 10,000 people listening to it and all of them taking action.
Speaker: So let's not be the other people where everyone's just listening and just cruising through their life, right?
Speaker: And not affecting anything.
Speaker: Like, I don't want this to just be like, oh yeah, that was really good.
Speaker: And then nothing happens from it, right?
Speaker: I don't want any of that.
Speaker: I want there to be change and I want this...
Speaker: I want you guys to actually almost stop listening to this podcast because you're affecting so much change within your life, right?
Speaker: That's the level of action that I want to see from this podcast and not just for people to just listen to it.
Speaker: And so that's just the first note that I wanted to start off this podcast with.
Speaker: And so just diving right into it, right off the bat.
Speaker: So we're going to talk about the one thing that's preventing you from making seven figures in commission this year, right?
Speaker: So what's that one thing?
Speaker: The one thing is that you cannot be the same person as you are right now in order to achieve the goals that you want.
Speaker: I know that sounds a little bit harsh and a little confusing at first, but hear me out.
Speaker: So if you were the person that is supposed to make seven figures in commission right now, you would have already done it already.
Speaker: And chances are that most of us haven't yet because we're not the person that is capable of making seven figures right now, right?
Speaker: And so what do we have to do?
Speaker: This means that we have to change who we are and become the person that is capable of achieving seven figures in commission.
Speaker: And so we really have to outline this.
Speaker: And most people don't really think about this because most people go about their lives and just try to incrementally improve their life, improve some of their skills and try to hit super high, ridiculous goals.
Speaker: And I'm not saying that you shouldn't put out ridiculous goals, right?
Speaker: It should, it should be like pushing the boundaries and pushing the limits of who you are as a human being.
Speaker: But if you do that, you must ensure that you draw out and outline the person that
Speaker: that is fully capable of achieving those goals effortlessly.
Speaker: And so the first thing you want to do is to write out the characteristics, personality traits of what this person who is fully capable of achieving seven figures in commission.
Speaker: Like write out all the traits that that person has.
Speaker: And basically what you want to do is create the personality traits of this person that would effortlessly, right, that's the key here,
Speaker: be able to achieve that goal.
Speaker: Because right now, who we are, we're not capable of achieving that thing.
Speaker: And so what we have to do is create a new being, a new personality that is able to achieve those things.
Speaker: And what I want you guys to know is don't just change, right?
Speaker: Everyone can do that.
Speaker: Everyone can change for the worse, right?
Speaker: There's a lot of times that we start regressing in our lives, but don't do that.
Speaker: When I say change, I mean evolve.
Speaker: A better word that I'm going to start using now is evolve, right?
Speaker: Everyone can change, but not everyone can evolve or elevate who they are as a human being, elevate their consciousness, evolve their intellect and their skills.
Speaker: And so put that at the forefront of yourself.
Speaker: Don't just aim to change, aim to evolve as a person.
Speaker: Um...
Speaker: And another thing that you can do in order to achieve your goals, once you have outlined all the characteristics that this person is going to have, now every time that you start thinking, oh, I don't want to do this, I don't want to do that, I don't want to knock on this door, I don't want to lead you in, I don't want to follow up with this prospect, think about the person that you need to become.
Speaker: If you don't clearly define the person that you need to become, you will always start to progress naturally.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: If we're not moving towards something, we're moving away from something else.
Speaker: So please make sure that you are outlining this.
Speaker: So break down exactly what qualities, what characteristics this person has.
Speaker: Like, are they like if they're punctual?
Speaker: Are they sharp?
Speaker: Are they persuasive?
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: What do they look like actually?
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: So this person is capable of achieving seven figures.
Speaker: What do they look like?
Speaker: Do they dress the same way that you dress right now?
Speaker: Is their hairstyle the same way?
Speaker: You have to get into this level of depth.
Speaker: And what happens when you do this?
Speaker: If you start to dress the part of a person making seven figures, you will start to embody the characteristics and personality traits.
Speaker: And things will start to magically happen in your life where you don't even know how it happened.
Speaker: And you just begin to evolve and transform into this new being.
Speaker: And so make this person like a 2.0 version of yourself.
Speaker: That's what you guys need to do.
Speaker: And so what you want to do next after you've clearly outlined the personality traits, what they look like, what they dress like, how they present themselves when they go into a room, what kind of things do they say, right?
Speaker: What kind of things do they not say anymore?
Speaker: All of those things.
Speaker: The next thing you want to do is to clearly define a vision.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: Most of us have a goal, but we don't really have a life vision within our lives.
Speaker: And the way that you want to achieve your goal is to create a vision that is way bigger than your initial goal so that your goal is the inevitable byproduct of you achieving your vision and mission.
Speaker: So just to put plainly, right, what you want to do is create a vision so big that when you accomplish that vision as a byproduct, you're going to achieve that initial goal that you had in the very beginning.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: So, for example, for me, my initial goal was just to make six figures when I became an entrepreneur.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: And that was my just little goal.
Speaker: And it was really difficult for me to try to hit that number with just that goal in mind.
Speaker: But it wasn't until that I thought bigger or created a bigger vision than just myself and what I wanted in my life.
Speaker: And that's when things started to change for me.
Speaker: That's when I started to make more money, when I started to close more clients, when I started getting bigger retainers, right, and learning way more and achieving a huge amount of success in my life is when I created a vision that was far greater than I was and far greater than the initial goal that I had.
Speaker: So my goal was just to make six figures, right?
Speaker: And then I evolved the goal to make, okay, now a million.
Speaker: Then I've evolved it even more and not just monetarily, right?
Speaker: But the impact I wanted to make.
Speaker: So I didn't want to just become a millionaire.
Speaker: I wanted to become a millionaire in the sense that I wanted to impact a million people.
Speaker: Then it grew even more.
Speaker: I wanted to evolve.
Speaker: human consciousness, right?
Speaker: I wanted to help people become the conscious creators of their own lives and fulfill their dreams and feel happy and fulfilled every single day when they go to work or doing whatever they do every single day of their lives.
Speaker: And so that's what I wanted to do.
Speaker: And now I'm on a mission to transform the lives of 50 billion people to help them become the conscious creators of their own lives.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: And so with that goal in mind, now making six figures is going to be an inevitable byproduct of me achieving that vision that I have.
Speaker: Yeah, I know that there's not 50 billion people on this earth.
Speaker: That's how much of a legacy that I want to leave behind and how much change I want to impact on this world.
Speaker: And so just by having that sheer vision alone, I will automatically accomplish the initial small goal that I had of making six figures, right?
Speaker: Does that make sense?
Speaker: And so that's what I mean by creating a vision that's so much bigger than your initial goal so that...
Speaker: Your goal that you had in the beginning is just something that will happen automatically.
Speaker: And so what you want is like money should be the byproduct of you achieving your selfless mission or vision that you have.
Speaker: And that, guys, is the key secret in order to accomplish any goal that you set out.
Speaker: Just make your vision way, way, way bigger than what your goal is.
Speaker: And you will for sure surpass that goal by just a long shot.
Speaker: Hey listeners, it's James Swiderski here.
Speaker: I promise we'll be right back to this fire content you're enjoying, but I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you about the number one training platform that I trust my own clients as well as my own solar team with, and it's called the Solar Spartan System.

Speaker: And this is where it gets pretty ninja, my friend.
Speaker: So listen up.
Speaker: So here's what makes the Solar Spartan system so effective.

Speaker: This is something I would not promote on the podcast if I didn't fully believe in it.
Speaker: It's something I trust my clients, but as well, my own solar company, my own reps, they go through this exact same training.
Speaker: So again, head over to solarspartansystem.com to get started and my team and I will see you inside.
Speaker: Let's get back to the show.
Speaker: So the next thing that we're going to talk about in order to create the person that you need to be in order to achieve that seven figures that you guys want is to become disciplined.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: Most of us want financial freedom in our lives.
Speaker: But how do we actually accomplish this?
Speaker: There's a good quote that says discipline equals freedom.
Speaker: And it confused me in the beginning when I started to think about it.
Speaker: I was like, wait, how does that make any sense?
Speaker: Discipline, it seems like it's contradicting itself because it seems like that's confining us in order to achieve freedom.
Speaker: How does that make any sense?
Speaker: So to give you guys concrete examples, like if we're not disciplined to eat healthily and exercise, what's going to happen?
Speaker: We sacrifice our health, right?
Speaker: So we're not actually free.
Speaker: when we eat whatever we want right now because then we sacrifice our health and then what happens right we might become better when bedridden we might become sick we might develop some diseases and things like that and so we sacrifice our health and so we don't want that and so when we are disciplined when we exercise daily when we eat right
Speaker: When we do those things, we actually achieve freedom in health.
Speaker: And so in that same way, we can apply this to money or success in life.
Speaker: You have to be disciplined in order to accomplish that financial freedom that we want.
Speaker: If we're not prospecting every single day, if we're not going on appointments every single day, if we're not talking to as many people as we possibly can and following up routinely, then we sacrifice our financial freedom.
Speaker: And so if you don't sacrifice your goals, your goals will become the sacrifice.
Speaker: That's a quote from my mentor that I've been learning from.
Speaker: And it's so, so, so true, guys.
Speaker: You have to sacrifice for success.
Speaker: There's no way around it.
Speaker: Something has to be given up.
Speaker: But most of us want everything, right?
Speaker: People always say like, oh, you can have everything in life.
Speaker: That's not true.
Speaker: Something must be the sacrifice.
Speaker: And so we have to develop this rock solid discipline.
Speaker: and never falter from it or else our freedom in life, financial freedom especially, will be the sacrifice.
Speaker: And so most of us actually, we have the facade of freedom in this country, right?
Speaker: Most of us always go around saying, oh yeah, we're free, we're free, we have freedom of speech, we have like so many rights, so many privileges in this world, in this specific nation, like yes, that's true.
Speaker: But how many of us are actually taking advantage or living that freedom?
Speaker: For example,
Speaker: Most of us are living as prisoners of other people's opinions, other people's judgments, right?
Speaker: We're not truly free.
Speaker: When's the last time that we truly spoke our mind or did what we want in this world without thinking about the consequences of what other people are going to think of us, what our parents are going to think, what our friends are going to think, what our cousins are going to think, what our significant other, our wife, our husband's going to think, what our kids are going to think, right?
Speaker: Right?
Speaker: So we're always imprisoned by what other people are thinking of us.
Speaker: And because of that, we're not truly free.
Speaker: So I call it that, I call this the facade of freedom in this country.
Speaker: And I don't want you guys to have to live your life like this because we do have freedom, but most of us don't use it.
Speaker: Like most of us aren't actually, like we do have brains, right?
Speaker: We do have free will, but most of us aren't,
Speaker: conscious of that fact and so we're actually slaves to everything around us all these external events like if we wake up in the morning right we're a slave to our phone we wake up check our phone first before you can say hi to to our wife or husband right and so those are the things like you can tell that we are slaves to our habits we are slaves to our fears like when's the last time that that you actually broke through a fear that you had
Speaker: Right?
Speaker: If you've never or if you have stopped in your tracks and not taken action on something or procrastinated, we were a slave to fear.
Speaker: And 90% of what we do every single day after by the age of 35 are habits.
Speaker: And so...
Speaker: Do we really have freedom in this world?
Speaker: And it isn't until we actually wake up, become conscious and change and alter what we're doing in our lives.
Speaker: That's when we truly have freedom.
Speaker: But don't just go around thinking that we automatically have freedom because it is a choice.
Speaker: Freedom is a choice, right?
Speaker: Discipline is a choice.
Speaker: If discipline is a choice, freedom is also a choice.
Speaker: So it's not automatic.
Speaker: And so we have to choose to do the right things.
Speaker: We have to choose to eat right.
Speaker: We have to choose to be a good person.
Speaker: We have to choose to give to other people.
Speaker: We have to choose to prospect daily and to help other people go solar.
Speaker: We have to choose to become responsible for this world that we live on, to make the right choices, decisions, and to help homeowners save money and the planet at the same time.
Speaker: Otherwise, everything's just going to blow up.
Speaker: And so...
Speaker: When you tell yourself that you're tired or you don't feel like doing it and then you listen to it, like who are you actually listening to?
Speaker: It's your body.
Speaker: So who's really in control?
Speaker: Is it your mind or is it your body?
Speaker: Right?
Speaker: So if we wake up and the first thought in our mind is, oh, I'm so tired.
Speaker: I stayed up late yesterday until 2 a.m.
Speaker: It's like 6 a.m.
Speaker: I don't want to get up.
Speaker: I can sleep in for a little longer.
Speaker: What are you actually listening to?
Speaker: Is that your mind you're listening to or is it your body?
Speaker: Most of us are slaves to our bodies, right?
Speaker: Our physical bodies.
Speaker: But you already know this, right?
Speaker: If you become conscious, we can will ourselves to do anything.
Speaker: But yet we always listen to our bodies.
Speaker: And our bodies don't know best.
Speaker: It really doesn't.
Speaker: Most of us, if it was just up to our bodies, we'd just sit around, laying around watching Netflix, potato chips, crumbs all over our stomach, right?
Speaker: And just binge watching for 12, 14 hours straight of the office.
Speaker: But that's what our body wants, but that's not what our mind wants and what our heart and soul wants.
Speaker: What our soul, heart, and mind wants is to be able to affect change into this world, leave a legacy, help other people become fulfilled in our lives by helping other people lift their load and alleviate their suffering.
Speaker: That's what our mind wants.
Speaker: And so if we keep being a slave or in prison to our own body and what other people think of us, we will never truly survive.
Speaker: find happiness or fulfillment or freedom for that matter, right?
Speaker: And so in this case, we have to become disciplined in order to find freedom in our lives.
Speaker: And the only way to achieve that seven figures is to become disciplined enough to become the person who we need to be in order that is capable actually of achieving that seven figures.
Speaker: And the last part I'm going to talk about within this topic is how
Speaker: how do we actually do this, right?
Speaker: Like what's an actionable step?
Speaker: Like how do we get our butt out of our seats and actually change who we are and to shift that into who we're supposed to become?
Speaker: And the best way that I can actually try to explain this is by thinking about death.
Speaker: And I know that it sounds pretty gruesome and
Speaker: It's not something that people really talk about often.
Speaker: Like people always say, yeah, remember your death and remember that you will die someday.
Speaker: But no one actually takes this to heart.
Speaker: Because if we all did, then all of us would be making the necessary changes that we need in order to become who we need to be.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: And so by remembering our death, what we do is we change the way that we live.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: Because how many of us are living the exact same way as we would if we knew that we would die next week?
Speaker: I'm not talking about a day here because if it was your last day here, you'd do some radical stuff.
Speaker: I'm talking about if you had a week or a month left.
Speaker: Would you be doing the exact same things as you are doing right now as if you knew that you were going to die in a week from now?
Speaker: And if the answer is no, you're not doing the same things that you would be doing, then there's something wrong.
Speaker: There's a discrepancy there that we need to fix.
Speaker: Because if you are living the exact same way as you would as if you knew that you were going to die next week, isn't that living the dream then?
Speaker: Isn't that living a fulfilled life?
Speaker: Not wanting to change anything within your life?
Speaker: Even if you knew that you were going to die next week.
Speaker: I believe that that's the definition of a truly fulfilled life, right?
Speaker: But most of us aren't living like that.
Speaker: And so what we have to do is like understand death itself.
Speaker: Like death is a beautiful thing.
Speaker: It sounds weird to say it, but without it, nothing would really matter.
Speaker: Death is what gives life meaning, yet we seldom think about our death, and thus we rarely feel like we have meaning in our lives every single day.
Speaker: Like, most of us don't have purpose.
Speaker: Most of us don't have meaning.
Speaker: Like, we just work to get money to then work again, right?
Speaker: And we just rinse and repeat this process, and we just keep working, living for the weekend, and then rinse and repeat, and then go on vacation maybe once a year, and then do it all over again.
Speaker: And it just feels like we're going in a vicious cycle and nothing's really happening in our lives and we don't have much meaning or purpose.
Speaker: And this is because we're not really remembering our death.
Speaker: And there's a good Latin quote, which is just memento mori, right?
Speaker: And it's a very famous Latin saying, but...
Speaker: most of us are just living as if we were going to live forever.
Speaker: And that's why we keep procrastinating.
Speaker: Like, if we knew that we were going to die next week, would we worry about what other people are thinking?
Speaker: Would we not knock on that door?
Speaker: Would we not follow up with that prospect?
Speaker: Will we not ask for referrals?
Speaker: Right?
Speaker: Like, those things become so insignificant now in the grand scheme of things if we knew we were going to die next week.
Speaker: Right?
Speaker: And it could happen.
Speaker: Like, God forbid it, right?
Speaker: But if we start thinking like that, then all of our fears start to melt away because it doesn't matter anymore.
Speaker: And so what death does is it really like separates and cuts out all the bullshit in your life and it magnifies what's important, like your family, like your friends, right?
Speaker: Your mom, your dad, like all the things that are important to you magnifies and all the insignificant stuff that weren't really that important anyway starts to melt away and you don't even think about it anymore.
Speaker: And so if you knew you were going to die next week, would you hesitate to knock on that door?
Speaker: Would you hesitate or would you even fear about what other people think about you?
Speaker: Would you even become reluctant about doing something that what you thought other people would seem weird to you?
Speaker: Like...
Speaker: why would you ever think about what other people are thinking if you knew you were going to die soon?
Speaker: And so this is how you really cut through everything and really take action in your life.
Speaker: And so people are willing to do the craziest things when their lives are on the line, right?
Speaker: You and I included.
Speaker: And if you want to make yourself take massive, massive action, just remember your inevitable impending death and to act as if you are going to go next week, right?
Speaker: Death makes the majority of things in life just seem super small, super insignificant.
Speaker: And so, and it just magnifies what's truly important.
Speaker: And what you want to do is to keep that in mind at all times.
Speaker: And it's only when you can truly say that you would change nothing about the way that you're living and what your life is currently like is when you are living your dream.
Speaker: And so just keep that in mind.
Speaker: And this is how you actually affect changing your life.
Speaker: Like people usually have to wait until they go through some traumatic experience in order for them to change who they are, change their personality, change the way that they're living.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: But don't wait for that moment.
Speaker: It might be too late if that experience comes about.
Speaker: And so don't wait.
Speaker: Don't procrastinate and take action now because we don't know when we're going to go.
Speaker: And if you actually want to leave a legacy, if you want to live a fulfilled life, and if you want to see some of your vision come into reality, right, of you being able to leave a legacy for your children, live a good example for them.
Speaker: and to have generational wealth for them to make sure that they're okay for your husband, wife, your family, your mom and dad to live the life that they've always dreamed of and deserve of, right?
Speaker: And for you and yourself included, this is what you have to remember in order to change and become the person you need to be in order to achieve that six, seven figure income and change everyone's life around you.
Speaker: So that's all we have for this episode, guys.
Speaker: I hope you really, really enjoyed it and took something out of it.
Speaker: Please don't try to memorize everything that was said in this podcast.
Speaker: Just take one thing that impacted you the most and go apply it immediately, right?
Speaker: There's no point in trying to just write down all this stuff and then just not apply anything Write down one thing that you can actually implement right now so that your life does change right for the better That's what I really want for you guys and I want you guys to win and that's what you have to do in order to win so The whole premise of this entire episode is that you cannot be the same person as you are now in order to achieve your goals so
Speaker: outline that personality, right?
Speaker: All the characteristics of that person that is fully capable of achieving that six, seven figure income in commission, and then change who you are to become that person, right?
Speaker: So evolve yourself.
Speaker: Don't just change, but evolve yourself to become that person.
Speaker: So that's all I have for you guys this episode.
Speaker: Let's go change some lives.
