Out to you in Vegas was actually probably the best fight of the weekend, so we'll get to that. save that last little teaser, the Niwa-Inouye fight, but we also had three fights in New York, um one out in Saudi Arabia.

So first of all, I just want to get overall thoughts of the weekend as a whole, Fatal Fury, kind of as a whole, including the Canelo fight in it. You can lump the Inoue fight in there as well if you want to, but most people had a strong opinion about this event. So Skywalker, what did you think about this past weekend?

um It started off ah really, really bad.

you know started off bad. A lot of fights didn't live out to how they were supposed to. ah We've seen people not perform how they used to perform. lot of people called the fight snooze fest.

Very boring. um it was kind of cool, the theme you know of New York City. They're going to have these fights in New York City, and it was going be free to the public, which turned out not to be.

ended up putting a big old gate, and a lot of people had a hard time. A lot the boxing fans were thinking they were going go to a free show on Times Square. And they only had 300 people inside of there. And some people believe that the fights could have been better if they would have had fans, you know, a lot of these fighters feed off the fans energy and you get a lot of great performances just because of the fans. So, uh, they're definitely, a you know, a learning lesson to Turkey, you know, it was cool that they, you know, they, they actually had the power to do this, man, you know, to set up some fights in in the middle of New York city.

But ah they turned out not to be that great, you know, and and we've seen fighters come back and and we haven't seen them fight in a year. And Tiafimo did good. i want to give credit to Tiafimo. I think he had the best performance out of that whole whole card.

He beat one of my guys, you know, Arnold Barbosa. Shout out to Arnold Barbosa. Tiafimo was just too quick for him. And got to give credit where credit is due. You know, that was my underdog on the card. And It turned out not to be. Rowley was the underdog. at at Man, credit to Rowley, man. Rowley did his thing too, man. Handled his win with with humbleness. um He was quiet on the lead lead up to this. me It wasn't like a normal Rowley and it wasn't like a normal Ryan.

And then, you know, they sold, I think it was like 604,000, you know, pay-per-view buys worldwide. And that's amazing for a non-title catchweight fight. So I'm eager to see the combined numbers of what they did this weekend to see if it it's translated for everybody watching it. But um the problem I saw was, i think I mentioned this when we were talking last time, Tia Fimo always shows up on certain fights, like the Josh Taylor fight. I had written them off. He's a loser, Josh Taylor.

Tio kind of was holding his punches after he got ah got cracked a couple times. Tio looked real good. Real good in that fight. Tio looked, I mean, he was dominating. he i mean He should have been the main headline, not Brian Garcia. He landed early, are often, and even though, like you said, there was that right hand early on that caught Lopez's attention, and that's when you realize that what he was dominating, and he started being a little more careful, um but he was still thoroughly dominating.

Even though I think we all picked the upset, but we all thought that Barboza was going to be more game he was. But, oh, Tio did thoroughly dismantle him in this fight. Skywalker, you got some other thoughts? The reason for me picking Barboza, too, man, was because he was riding on momentum, you know, riding off a good victory off Caterall.
