I created the Holiday Tips series for ambitious high achieving women trying to juggle everything this holiday season -- closing out the fiscal year at work, coordinating holiday events, hosting, cooking, cleaning, communicating, shopping, wrapping. The mental load is extra heavy this time of year, and I'm hopeful these holiday tips will help make things a little lighter for you. Connect with me on Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/execcoachleanna/] @execcoachleanna or LinkedIn [https://www.linkedin.com/in/leannalaskey/] to tune into the full series.

Speaker: Hi everyone, coach Leanna here, the executive coach for moms, and I'm back with another holiday tip. So one thing that I highly recommend if you are in the weeds right now with holiday planning and executing on all the things and trying to wrap up the year at work and just all the things. I want to encourage you to schedule something after it's all over, after the holidays kind of settle down a little bit just for you. And you can ask yourself, what would I be really excited about? Would it be a massage, spa day, a girl's trip, a retreat by myself, a lunch date with a friend, a hike in the woods, a coffee date with myself, whatever it might be, put it on the calendar so that that way you can look forward to it. We want to of course enjoy these moments as they come as much as possible.

Speaker: And also sometimes it can help to have something to look forward to that's just for us, especially in this season where we are planning for everybody else and creating the magic for everybody else. So have something on the calendar that is just for you, for you to look forward to get it on the calendar, get the childcare set up, send yourself that signal that you're also looking out for yourself, that you're taking care of you, even though right now you're really focused on a lot of other people around you.

Speaker: All right, follow me for more holiday tips.
