Speaker: Every time a mother births a baby. She also births. a brand new version of herself. And this is not only happening on a... physical, emotional, spiritual level.
Speaker: It is mainly happening. on the subconscious level. In this episode, we are diving into the subconscious identity shifts that happen.
Speaker: When you become a mother, when you give birth, It does not matter how many babies you've had. Every time you give birth, you are. giving birth to a brand new version of yourself. Your brain is quite literally
Speaker: rewiring. to realign with the new version of yourself that you are becoming now with this new child. My name is Gianna Badeau. I'm a certified hypnotherapist, meditation teacher, and somatic guide. And if you feel like you need deeper support or want to go...
Speaker: deeper into upgrading. your subconscious, make sure you grab access to the rewired app linked for you in the notes below. There's over 60.
Speaker: meditations and hypnosis recordings to support you in upgrading and up -leveling your subconscious mind, rewiring negative programming that is not serving you and inserting new programming that actually supports you in aligning with the version of yourself that you want to feel like. and be like.
Speaker: Every single day. All right, let's dive into it. I have a personal connection to this topic because I am a mom of two. I actually just had. My second baby.
Speaker: Four months ago. Which is wild time. literally flies by I feel like I was pregnant literally yesterday, but I had a baby four months ago. And I personally have been going through this identity shift, this subconscious rewiring that happens to mothers after they have a baby. And like I mentioned in the beginning, it doesn't matter how many times you have given birth.
Speaker: The birth of a child. rewires you at the subconscious level, which means your identity shifts. And it's not about going back to who you were before that version of yourself.
Speaker: is no longer this is about meeting this new version of yourself where you are now So that.
Speaker: version of you that you used to be can come up into alignment with this new version of yourself that you are becoming each day as you move into the postpartum period with this new child, with this new baby that you have miraculously birthed. and brought into the world. So your subconscious mind, let's just like. give some clarity here, is responsible for... quite literally everything you say, everything you do, all of the actions you take, all of the actions that.
Speaker: You don't take. The seeds that you plant into your subconscious per the thoughts that you are thinking every day, per of the way that you are. Choosing to program your mind per the things that you have gone through and not healed from.
Speaker: your subconscious manifests. that. That's right. Whatever you plant into your subconscious expands and grows and becomes your reality. And we are being shaped every single day by the things that we go through, as I mentioned, and by the thoughts that we...
Speaker: tell ourselves every day. So the subconscious is is hardwired and programmed by those two things. by the things that you are going through on a emotional level a physical level a spiritual level And also by the thoughts that you are consciously thinking and...
Speaker: even unconsciously telling yourself every day about your reality about yourself about your motherhood about your children about your spouse about your money situation about your work situation about literally everything what you tell yourself becomes your reality. And many people don't realize how how serious this is until they start to actually look at their lives and they're like, actually.
Speaker: Now I understand why XYZ is happening. Because I believed it. Because I've been telling myself it. And I've been telling myself this story, whatever it may be, without even realizing it. And so we you know become the reality that we think about, that we tell ourselves about, and that we... experience on a daily basis. And it's the same way in our mothering. So when you become a mom, as I mentioned also at the beginning,
Speaker: Your... brain literally rewires throughout pregnancy, naturally on its own. And it rewires based on the programming that you received as a child about mothering from what you saw from your own mother or the mother figures that you had around you growing up. Your brain rewires to align with the programming that you received around mothering.
Speaker: And if it's good programming, then you likely are going to have a beautiful mothering experience. Now, if you have had an experience where maybe you don't fully align with the way that you were mothered or the mothering that you saw, even if it wasn't traumatic. Maybe there were just things that...
Speaker: your mama did that you don't also want to continue, even if she was a really good mom. Even if she was a really good mom, there may still be things that you do not want to continue.
Speaker: patterns, habits, things that you were like, Hey, you know what? You were a good mom, mom, but, uh, I, I don't want to bring that into my mothering. Right. So The identity that we align into as we are having our babies, as we are bringing children into the world.
Speaker: is heavily, heavily, heavily based on a lot of the programming that you received from the mothering that you saw and experienced as you were growing up. Because when you are a child, your subconscious is like a sponge. Before the age of seven years old, in fact, your subconscious is...
Speaker: the most suggestible, which means whatever you saw, whatever you were told, whatever you were shown, that becomes the lens by which you now see the world and show up in it. And so the identity that you are shifting into as a mom, as you are giving birth, no matter, again, how many babies you've had, this becomes ah really the basis, the foundation of who you are becoming as a mother, the mothering that... that you received. That is the base, the foundation.
Speaker: And then all the other experiences that you've gone through in life have also built up on that foundation to make you the mother that you are morphing into today. And then also every time you give birth.
Speaker: there is a new version of yourself that is emerging. And it's a extremely incredible and beautiful time to reshape, to remold that foundation that has been built up for you based on, again, what you've gone through, what you've been told, what you've been shown about mothering. so
Speaker: as you give birth, you have this beautiful new opportunity. to rewire, to reshape, to recode the programming that you have around mothering, around motherhood, around the mothering that you received and the mothering that you will now give.
Speaker: And every time you give birth, you're in this prime. primal state to actually reshape and recode that. So that is why every time you give birth, whether it's once, twice, five, 10 times, however many times you've given birth, there is this new version of yourself that that is emerging, right? Especially throughout that postpartum period where your hormones are all over the place and you're going through so much, you're sleep deprived. There is transformation happening in this period where you are being shaped and molded into this new version of yourself of a mother.
Speaker: And it's a really. again, primal and beautiful time and an incredible opportunity to take charge of what's happening. and mold and shape the mother that you want to emerge into with this new child. So for me personally, again, like I mentioned, I had a baby four months ago. It's my second child. I had a baby boy. His name's Jackson. And as I you know have been going through my postpartum period,
Speaker: There's been a lot coming up around what's next for me and what I want to talk about and what I'm passionate about.
Speaker: as a mother. And it feels like as this identity shift happens for me, ah you know as an individual, as a mother. it naturally also starts to evolve as a business owner because I am that type of person where I can't just talk about things you know to make money. I truly deeply care about the things I talk about and I only share things that I am deeply, deeply passionate about.
Speaker: So as I you know have been emerging through this postpartum period, I've become a little bit bored just talking about the subconscious through a very general lens and have felt this.
Speaker: real pull, like real, real pull to start talking about the subconscious as it relates in our mothering, as it relates in our pregnancies, as it relates in our birthing, when we are literally giving birth and having babies and creating babies, how the subconscious ties into motherhood. through that lens and, and why I feel it's become such a passion of mine is because I've been
Speaker: really honing in on the programming in my subconscious throughout my mothering, even before I started having kids.
Speaker: When I was pregnant with my first, and before we even got pregnant with her, I was really focus on healing and breaking generational trauma and not wanting to carry things that I had gone through or my parents had gone through into my child's life, into my mothering. Because if we don't break generational curses, we we pass them down. And so breaking these generational cycles has become something that is so, so important to me because I truly believe it's how we make the world a better place by breaking the cycle.
Speaker: of trauma in the lives of our children. And as mothers, like we are the prime roles. We are the ones who are going to be doing that through our mothering. And of course the dads as well. We want to have healthy dads, healthy moms, healthy marriages, healthy relationships around the children. Right. But as I've gone through, you know,
Speaker: pregnancy and birth and postpartum two times now, my passion for breaking generational trauma and supporting women and men who are parents in their healing because
Speaker: Whatever they don't heal, they're going to pass down to their children who are going to pass it down to their children. This whole topic of of healing generational trauma has become such a huge, huge passion of mine and something I really want to start talking more and more about because the subconscious and healing the subconscious.
Speaker: is how we heal from what we've gone through as children because all of the memories all of the traumas everything that we go through as children
Speaker: gets stored in the subconscious. So by doing hypnotherapy, by doing the subconscious healing work, we're able to heal what's been coming up for us unconsciously without even realizing it because that's how this unconscious subconscious trauma works. It pops up and manifests on a physical level.
Speaker: but it has roots at the subconscious level. And a lot of times, many of you don't even realize the things that are dictating and showing up in your day -to -day reality and causing you to be and show up the way that you do every day. that cause you to have the bad habits that you do or end up in the same cycles and patterns that you do. It's rooted up at this deep, deep level, the subconscious. So for me, I've really struggled to figure out, you know, like what do I want to talk about on my podcast, through my content, through the things that I'm putting out in the world because I can only do things and put out things in the world that I am. deeply, deeply passionate.
Speaker: about. So you know breaking generational trauma and and healing mothers, healing fathers, and supporting this process of deep healing has become a deep passion of mine. it It always was part of the work I was doing as a hypnotherapist, but it's become even more important to me now that I am a parent and a mother myself. Another thing that's come up for me is I've felt this deep pull to start sharing more about
Speaker: hypnobirthing. And, you know, I've thought about it for a long time, but I really struggled with doing that because it is a little bit, it's, it's on brand, right? But it's a little bit off brand to start talking about birth and hypnobirthing.
Speaker: Oh my, I used hypnobirthing in my second birth and it totally changed my birth experience compared to my first birth experience. I was able to go through my second labor.
Speaker: completely all natural, not hooked up to any IVs, no machines. I birthed in a tub for quite some time and was able to literally get through the excruciating.
Speaker: Pain of labor. Through breathing.
Speaker: through supporting my body, through visualization, through all of the core elements of hypnobirthing. So I felt this call after giving birth the second time to bring hypnobirthing into the conversation that I am having on the Rewired podcast through my content. I actually created a brand new Instagram account and am in the process of creating a brand new product, a hypnobirthing product with over
Speaker: 20 recordings for pregnant women to do while they are pregnant to prepare for birth using hypnobirthing. So that's something that I've been creating in the past four months that I've been going through my...
Speaker: Second postpartum identity shift, creating a new little sub brand. So for me, again, this identity shift has really been about, you know, on a business level really only wanting to talk about things that I'm passionate about. So this is actually one of my first episodes that I've even...
Speaker: recorded since before I had the baby. Before I had Jackson, I had prerecorded about. six or seven episodes, so I had enough. um content to get me through like the first two months postpartum and then I ran out of of episodes to put out and I had really struggled with wanting to hit record because I'm like I really don't even know what I want to talk about anymore. And that's when I remember it. This is the identity shift that's happening.
Speaker: It's happening right now. So I allowed myself to pause, take a step back and really get clear about, okay, what, what are you passionate about talking about now that you're a mom of two, now that you've gone through two pregnancies and two, um,
Speaker: child birthing experiences. And so those are the two things that have have really come up for me um in terms of new things that I feel deeply, deeply called and passionate about, which again is. um
Speaker: focusing on breaking generational curses, breaking cycles of trauma for mothers, for fathers, so that they're not passing it down to their children. So we can make the world a better place by having more healed, happy humans in it. We don't have to be a generation of trauma like our parents were. They didn't have the tools that we have today.
Speaker: And we can be healed parents. And I think it's so empowering to see that happening amongst friends, amongst family members, that we are just a more healed generation. We are more of a trauma -informed generation who naturally like want to be healthier, want to be more healed, want to be happier. And it's something I'm really passionate about. And again, hypnobirthing, which...
Speaker: I have so much to say about. It's probably a topic for another podcast episode, but I really struggled with. you know, how to emerge back into my brand, how to emerge back into the podcast. What do I want to talk about? What will I even say? Usually I have like this outline of, okay, we're going to talk about this, talk about that. And I kind of just hit record on this and I'm like, let's just see what comes out.
Speaker: So for me, this is going to be more of the style I'm aligned with is really just like popping on and, and talking and like seeing what flows and allowing it to naturally emerge out of me, channeling it out of me. And this is the identity shift.
Speaker: And this is what we go through as mothers. And we have to allow it to happen. So for me, what I could have done has been like, no, Gianna, it's important that you stick to what you've always talked about. Stick to your messaging. Hypnobirthing is a different niche. Then you're going to need to talk about birth and this and that. And I could have all of these limiting beliefs coming up that stop me from from doing what I've been called to do, which is share hypnobirthing. Share what supported me in having this empowering, beautiful, natural birth. Share what's helped me. in healing my own trauma, in having a healed, happy household for my children so that they don't take on what I have gone through or what my husband has gone through in his life and that we can break the cycle in our household. That is such a huge passion of mine coming from...
Speaker: so much trauma in my own life and just being a healed, healthy, happy woman. Now it's just. It's empowering and I want to share more of it and how more moms can feel like. the healthiest, happiest, most healed version of themselves. Ciao.
Speaker: That's kind of what has been coming up for me on like a business level of this identity shift. On a personal level, you know becoming a mom of two, like you're not just a mom of one anymore. You have this little family that you're responsible for every day. um and it's been really beautiful to just allow myself to, to spread, to expand. And the identity shift that's happened for me around that is really like, wow, like I am actually capable of so much more than I gave myself credit for because when I was pregnant, all I worried about was how am I going to take care of two? How am I going to give them all the love that I give to my first Juliana? Because she was just the center of my world. She had me 24 seven it every day of the week.
Speaker: We co -sleep together. And I was just so worried about like how. that relationship would continue the way it was how we would stay so close and now just being in it I'm like hey like we just bring the second baby along in it and it's all of us together and it and so with all that I just have become and felt so empowered as a mother to just take it on and and to show myself that everything I wasted my time worrying about.
Speaker: Didn't even matter because... When you gave birth you just figured it out from that day forward on how to be a mom of two so I spent a lot of time in my pregnancy like worried okay how am I going to take this on and what's it going to be like am I going to be able to give love to both of my my children uh but It's just like now it's me and Juliana and Jackson and we're just all a part of it together.
Speaker: And so there's so many shifts and upgrades happening. And the point of this episode is really to share with you as a mother, whether you're pregnant, whether you just had a baby or you had a baby and you want to have more that.
Speaker: you have to allow this identity shift to take place It's a very important part of your Evolution. as a mother to allow this identity shift to happen. Because every time you give birth, you are not only birthing a child, you are birthing a new version of yourself your subconscious is quite literally Rewiring and recoding.
Speaker: From the moment... you get pregnant. It is preparing. to become a mother to become a mother of two of three of the four whatever It may be. Your subconscious is rewiring and reprogramming. and In that postpartum period, you have this.
Speaker: incredible opportunity to be the co -creator of that reality to say okay This is the version of myself that I want to embody. This is what I want to actually put out. This is what's important to me. This is what I'm passionate about now.
Speaker: maybe before things were different but this is how i feel now this is who i am now. And really. imprinting that and encoding it and wiring it into your subconscious. And that's why I love hypnotherapy so, so much. Because your subconscious is responsible for...
Speaker: Everything you do. the way you show up, the way you are, the thoughts you think, the actions you take, and you can either be on autopilot going through the motions or you get to be a co -creator of what's happening. You get to take charge of it.
Speaker: So as you're going through this identity shift, you get to actually... create the identity that you want to become while you are allowing whatever needs to emerge to emerge out of you.
Speaker: So it's not about going back to who you were before you were pregnant or before you were a mother. It's about allowing your identity to shift and allowing that past version of yourself to realign with this new shifted identity that you are naturally. Becoming. on your own.
Speaker: And also taking action on choosing how you want to feel, who you want to be, what's important to you, what you're passionate about. It's this beautiful opportunity to take charge of your life as a woman, as a mother, and say, actually, this is who I am now.
Speaker: And I think it's really empowering and I think it's really beautiful. And so. that's more of what i'll be bringing into the content on here really talking a lot more about subconscious shifts in motherhood and pregnancy from childbirth so that you can allow these shifts to happen.
Speaker: And I think it would really support maternal mental health so, so much, especially in the postpartum period to know that, hey, what you're going through is is an identity shift.
Speaker: And you don't need to push against it. You can allow it to happen. You can allow yourself to feel the what you're feeling to go through it and allow yourself to grow through it in the process of going through it while supporting your mental health, while supporting your body, while rewiring your subconscious and doing all the things. And so this was...
Speaker: The first episode I felt called to share on is the identity shifts because I'm going through it right now. And and as the shift evolves even more, I will share more about it. But that's ah a small glimpse of some of the shifts that are taking place for me. during my second postpartum period. as a mother.
Speaker: as a hypnotherapist, as a coach. And so I'm really excited about. whatever is coming next. I am in the. process of it. It's not fully bloomed.
Speaker: There's a lot in creation. There's a lot. coming into fruition, but it's not fully birthed. yet I feel like I'm still pregnant with what's coming next, even though I already had my baby. there's there's more that's about to be birthed out of me and it feels really exciting. So if you're a mama.
Speaker: You want to be a mama or you're even a dad, parent. whatever, this is a topic that is relevant for you. And I hope you stick around to dive into it even deeper. And if you are a pregnant mama and you're interested in. diving into hypnobirthing. very soon.
