Alex is a specialist in medieval England and France, focusing on the period between the 9th and 12th centuries. He is currently pursuing a doctoral thesis at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, examining the estates of the dukes of Normandy and the kings of England from 911 to 1135. With his deep expertise in Norman and Anglo-Saxon history, Alex will help us unravel the political intrigue, shifting alliances, and pivotal battles that shaped one of the most consequential years in English history.
