track. Looks like we made it. Looks like we made it. We got our wellness shirts on. Bobby's is covered by a scarf. Yeah, it is. His colorful scarf. Scarf that I got in a small community before we started the four day Inca track.

Reflections on the Inca Trek

00:00:24
Speaker
So this has been super cool. I'm amazed at how many people have made the hike. That is incredible to me. The hike was brutal.
00:00:32
Speaker
I don't think I want to walk more than, I don't know, four feet for the next month. But when we got here, it was all fog. You couldn't see anything. And it was actually kind of like, oh, are we going to see something? Are we going to not? Because this whole thing has been about seeing Machu Picchu.

Arrival at Machu Picchu

Speaker
And it's a reminder that sometimes in life, the journey is the most beautiful part. Yeah. And our journey was brutal.
00:01:02
Speaker
It was four days of hiking and I have hiked four days. I've hiked four days in Smoky Mountain National Park. I've hiked four days in Yellowstone, Big Bend.

Comparative Adventures: Big Bend vs. Peru

00:01:17
Speaker
And while Bob keeps talking about Big Bend, I'm going to show you the llamas in Peru. Oh, that's right. The llamas are so peaceful. They are so amazing there. Yeah.
00:01:26
Speaker
It's been a journey. This has been tough. I'm not going to lie. It's been a challenge for a variety of reasons. And this tests your mental and physical capacities. And it makes you question yourself sometimes on this trail. Steph, what did you learn about yourself?

Lessons Learned: Patience and Respect

00:01:44
Speaker
I learned patience. Yes, you did. What did you learn, Bobby? Speaking of which, you know, you're so far ahead. Did you learn graceful? Because there's this other people, we're not the only ones on this trail. No, I get it.
00:01:54
Speaker
I want to be respectful of everybody else out here. Oh, for sure. We're one of so many people out here. But check out this llama. Wow. That is so cool. But yeah, Bobby, what did you learn?

Finding Personal Meaning

00:02:09
Speaker
The journey is where the magic is. And my intent was to come up with my new why.
00:02:18
Speaker
Yeah, I think you had a lot of... I'm not going to say it now. I think you have a lot of lives and lived and lives. I'm not going to say it now. So, you know, we're going to keep that. Live, love, love. No, but I think that's what I wanted this journey in part to be about was to give me some time alone. I found out that I really like to hike by myself. Yeah. And just because I think you go at a different pace than the rest of the group.
00:02:48
Speaker
Yeah, but also it just gives me a chance to think. And that's what I wanted to do on this track.

Concluding Thoughts and Future Insights

00:02:58
Speaker
Now I'm... Do we know? Down? Up, down. Okay. Steffi? Yeah, down. Cool. So I had that and I worked with a couple different things I was thinking about for my Y.
00:03:14
Speaker
until something felt right. I actually figured it out. Go camera. Okay, more to come guys. Bye.
