Speaker: Hey everyone, welcome back to Thrill, Chills, and Spills, where we spill the tea on all things theme park, special events, and especially spooky season. I'm Kelly. I'm Joey. I'm Tyler. And I'm Rafa.
Speaker: And today we have a little bit of a shorter episode. As always, we're going to start with our spills. um Let's start with Joey. What happened on Delta? I literally wrote Delta poisoned me. ah So I'll be talking about this more in a minute here. But um I went to Hamburg, Germany for a aviation conference for work.
Speaker: And i was very lucky to have a Delta One seat on the way over, um which involves a bed, which is amazing and the best part of it, to be honest. And but also the fancier food than you normally would get. um There's like a full course to dinner with dessert. And then before you arrive, there's a like pre-arrival breakfast meal.
Speaker: No idea which of those it was, but I arrived in Frankfurt because Delta does not fly to Hamburg. And I elected to take the train because Europe does that from ham or from Frankfurt to Hamburg, which is about a four hour train ride.
Speaker: And i was prepared to read my Buzzbars book club book on that train ride, which sounded great to me. However, about 20 minutes after boarding the train, I start to get a headache and i'm like, what's going on? And then my stomach starts hurting. And then...
Speaker: I had to go to the bathroom about four times on the train. And at least one of those times I vomited. was like, cool. What did Delta do to me in the food that they gave me in this fancy Delta one seat? No, no,
Speaker: So sad. my company poisoning It's worst feeling. And you're in there for like four hours. It's like so uncomfortable. It was very uncomfortable. so like I was trying to read the book and I'm just sitting there like with a headache and my stomach is so mad. The train.
Speaker: So if you know anything about Deutsche Bahn, they're always late. Um... and So the original train that I was scheduled for was like 30 over 30 minutes late or something.
Speaker: And that allows you to like switch trains around. So I had like a pre booked seat on the one I was going to get on, but then it got delayed. And so i was like, I just want to go like, I'm going to get on whatever I can get there earlier on. And so I had to just find an open seat on this train and I had to get like a on ah on a two-seater and I was the inside seat. So I had to keep like asking this guy to move. To go to the bathroom. He's probably like, what is wrong with this guy? And I'm just sitting there with like holding my head. It was so ridiculous. um But yeah. So luckily on the way back, ah Delta did not do me dirty again. And it was very comfortable and nice and I didn't have any problems. But Did it like wreck your trip though or was it quick?
Speaker: No, it was actually quick. And like that has happened to me before at least one time that I got sick from some kind of food. And I feel like it was because food poisoning sometimes puts you in the hospital from dehydration. um So I don't think it was that serious. And that level of kind of food issues has happened once for me before where basically i just needed to throw up. And then afterwards, like I felt bad for like another hour, but then it kind of like settled out.
Speaker: But yeah, that would have been the worst thing ever the rest of the week if I had to be in some German hospital just laid up. Missing everything. Yeah. At least if it was happening like on the way back, then okay, you're going back home. but like Right, exactly. Oh my God. Are you sure you aren't just like... I was nervous. I was like, oh, this better like, you know, I better get over this real quick.
Speaker: But... Are you sure you aren't just allergic to good public transportation? that's exactly right my american body could not handle the train yeah i will say the delta one food looked pretty good yeah and it was all very very tasty it's not like there was anything that i was like oh this is what did me in i don't know what it was it could have been the short rib i don't know um it was something though for sure or maybe i just had too much ice cream for dessert i don't know
Speaker: GI symptoms are the worst. Bless. For real. Yeah. I will say, though, that just like a shout out to Europe for having trains in general, because I mean, the Frankfurt Central Station, I i haven't in before, but I think I wasn't on the level where the long range trains come in and out. I think I was on the regional ones to get to Fantasialand.
Speaker: The long range trains floor of that station is wild. There's like 27 tracks all next to each other. And you're just walking down and seeing like all of these platforms of trains. I like we could never.
Speaker: We could never. And the frequencies that they come and everything is just it's it's crazy. oh Well, continuing on the topic of food. Tyler, what's your spell?
Speaker: Yeah, we'll stay with the topic of bad food, although not nearly as bad. I just hate when I spend too much money on food from a restaurant and it's not good.
Speaker: That's like the worst thing ever. But there's this new restaurant. So I have a list of restaurants in Richmond that I want to try. That I've never been to before. there was one. It's like a 4.7 star or something. Everybody loves it.
Speaker: It's a burger place. Smash Burgers. And I was so excited to try after my run on Saturday. So burger and fries. Of course, like all the bougie places sell those separately. You can't get them together. But it was like a little over $20 just for the burger and fries.
Speaker: come Fries. immediately soggy like they came straight from the kitchen and they were already involved no don't know what the issue was unacceptable yeah and they were like the fries themselves were bland but they just put so much cajun seasoning on it that you like are coughing as you eat them but it's still somehow bland at the same time I don't understand. sogging Yeah. And I'm not. one luckyy Yeah. It's worse. And I'm not one to waste food, but I ate like a third of them maybe and threw the rest away.
Speaker: Wow. um And the burger was decent. Like it had good flavor, but the bun was just completely soggy. Like I think I could have taken the bun and just wrung it out like a sponge.
Speaker: oh it was not yeah but that would have pissed me off so much yeah and it's like i didn't get take out i didn't take it home i sat there it came straight from the kitchen i don't understand how that can happen but right right yeah those are the kind of places if you do get take out and arrive soggy it's kind of like well that's on you like that food doesn't last but if you're there and it comes out soggy it's like what the heck people So, I mean, the patches themselves were fine, but it's like $21 for that, and it's not even satisfying. That's the worst.
Speaker: Was it Instagramable? Like, is it one of those places where the interior is like, people are taking selfies because it's nice? or No, not even. Okay. okay They went from a food truck to a brick and mortar within like the past year or two. ah But they like did not spend much on the design.
Speaker: It was very bare bones. I will say Atlanta has a lot of that. We have a lot of restaurants where like the interior is like so cool, but the food is average as heck and it's over. Yeah, you have like the the green Ivy wall with like the the neon sign. Yeah, it's a little tiny light bulb that they put like near the tables. You know which ones I'm talking about around. Yep. you have those heavy ass metal stools that you cannot move. Oh oh my gosh. Hey, yeah.
Speaker: We'll then have like that Abercrombie and Fitch lighting in there. And she's like, what am I eating? That can be, that can be our getting old thing. Don't give me a stool. I'm too old for that. I need i need a backrest.
Speaker: Here we go And not just the two inches of fake lumbar support. I need the full backrest. That doesn't count. i want support. Okay. It's like, it not a lip, a backrest.
Speaker: If i want you guys we guys if i walk in and there's a bench, I am turning around and leaving.
Speaker: Which is like most breweries. Yeah, most breweries. Yeah, not for me. Well, my spill is um sponsored by my past weekend. As I've mentioned before, one of my children is a competitive dancer and I have gone beyond full dance mom at this point. Like i i have reached next level, i think, of dance mom. i am the mom showing up in full merch.
Speaker: to these competitions okay if it's not merch that has the studio on it it's the studio colors have to be wearing the studio colors i'm the first one getting there setting up her she's got a these dancers okay my child is seven we have these really intense duffel bags where you can build a clothing rack out of the duffel bag that all of the costumes hang on okay Well, i'm set I'm setting, I'm painting a picture here.
Speaker: So we get there. She's got all seven of her dances this weekend. Mind you, was Sunday morning in the span of three hours that all of these dances happened. Okay. So somebody has to change her costumes, that somebody being me.
Speaker: And every costume has a different hairstyle and different tights. So it's a whole thing. OK, so I was stressed. So I made note cards saying what goes with every dance, what costume, what are the tights, what are the hair, what is every accessory? Put it on a note card. Then I bought like a little teacher situation from Amazon where I could put the note cards in the correct order.
Speaker: Then I hung them on a string and put it on a rack. OK, I also printed out and laminated the event schedule for all the other moms to use. I also brought packets of snacks for all of the girls to eat. I also brought arts and crafts for the girls to do. The first competition I did, Bedazzle Your Own Turquoise Bow, because turquoise is a studio color. And this time we did glasses, Bedazzle Your Own Glasses, that the girls can wear at awards.
Speaker: People are looking at me like I'm a crazy person, but I am living for this. This is like me and my best life, okay? Okay. Not the stage mom for all these girls. Fully.
Speaker: Fully. because Because I lived this. So like I feel like I'm reliving. And this past competition, because there were so many quick changes, i even brought Sherry, my mother, out of retirement. Dance mom retirement. She came and assisted with the quick changes. through shery She was like, what the heck? I thought I retired from this. It's like, no, no, no. You're back in action. Because I'm not going through this stress by myself. elph So she really helped me out. It was so fun.
Speaker: Amelia did great. um I will say that I'm getting to the point now where I am starting to research the competitions and how the adjudications work because I need to know all the things. I'm a data-driven person. you know I want to know how many people are my kids up against?
Speaker: Where do they come from? You're going so hard. I love this. I'm going hard in the paint. I'm going hard in the paint. Now, at the end of the day, i I really do just want my kid to be happy. And she's so happy. She doesn't even understand what's going on. She like gets a trophy for her solo and that's, she's carrying it around. Like it's her infant child for the rest of the weekend. so that makes me happy. And I'm living in this dance mom era. I can't wait for the next one, which is in like 10 days.
Speaker: Oh my gosh. It's giving Amy Poehler in the aisle in Mean Girls. That's exactly to really that. yeah That is me, except I was so stressed this time because of all the quick changes. Like there was one where her one number and her next number were right next to each other with no numbers in between.
Speaker: And the competition basically just took like a five minute judges break to like make it work because there were three girls oh wow dances. I would go to the auditorium, which was up steps from the dressing room, stand in the back of it because i didn't have enough time to sit down or like get up. And I would just stand there in the back and watch the dance and then literally run to the dressing room. And Amelia would get there before me. It was insane. It was insane.
Speaker: But it was fun. But it was scary. And I was sweating from every crevice of my body. It's like when Elphaba has to like after to no, not defying gravity after no good deed or something. She has to like run underneath the stage all the way through to like get in position on the elevator or something. You're just it felt like, it felt like that kind of a moment. And I did it seven times. i It was wild. It was wild. Um, yeah.
Speaker: And today I was super obnoxious and posted a separate Instagram post for every single dance of pictures while I was at work. do do do do do Oh, my gosh. Living. Okay, anyways. On to thrills.
Speaker: Joey, tell us about Germany. Ready, go. Oh, my gosh. oh Yes. So, it really wasn't that many things. There was like three days of rollercoaster-related stuff. um So, after i vomited on the train and then arrived...
Speaker: in Hamburg, um I checked into my hotel and was kind of assessing the vibe and but finally felt like, OK, I think I'm feeling OK enough to go out and do this because my plan had always been to go to It's called Hamburg Dom, which is the fair that is in Hamburg for the spring, um was to go there and check out the roller coasters that they had there. So thank gosh I had recovered and um was prepared for that. So I took public transit. I took a bus.
Speaker: from my hotel over to the fairgrounds and um just kind of walked around to check it out first. It is. um It was my first time at a European fair. um They are definitely a bit of a different vibe than the ones in the US. Everything is very tightly packed together.
Speaker: There are a lot of food vendors. um Like even ones within, i don't know, 50 feet of each other selling the exact same thing. I'm like, Well, that's redundant.
Speaker: um But they just invite, you know, all of these vendors to come and they're all separate. um That's how all the attractions are as well, which I was curious how that would work. They don't do like a wristband or anything like that. You basically individually pay for each attraction at the entrance of that attraction because each one is owned by um a different company, essentially. um And they just kind of bring it all together for this fair. How does that work with like does that increase the queue time? Like, is it a disaster paying for the ride before you get on it?
Speaker: I mean, at the time that I went, it was 3 p.m. on a weekday. So it was definitely not kind of the height of the fair. I definitely would have preferred to go at night because I feel the vibes with all the lights and everything would have been better. um it was just kind of the only chance I had to go. But I would say if anything, it actually reduces the queues because you have to pay individually. Like if you could have a wristband to do everything, I think all the lines would have been longer.
Speaker: um so you're kind of like picking and choosing what you want to do. um I definitely could have spent more time there, but I had to to get to a dinner later that evening. So um I basically did one circuit and kind of like rode the things that I wanted to ride in that circuit. And then I left.
Speaker: um It's definitely not cheap um when everything is kind of individually priced. um I can I think I mostly remember what they are, but I took 50 euro out at the airport and um I spent almost all of it at the fair just riding a couple of So ah first I was walking through and i found a dark ride called Halloween.
Speaker: And it was very spooky. And there were pumpkins and ah like, I don't know, what do you call those guys? ah Like the death characters and all of that stuff. And it had a very goofy looking ride vehicle. That was like a cage almost looking like. um And so i was like, all right, well, that's spooky. I have to ride it.
Speaker: um So I rode that. It was hilarious. Like there were, there were like 10 vehicles lined up in front that were just empty, you know, not moving. And then he loads me into the one at front.
Speaker: And then we just sit there for like five minutes. And I'm like, is it is he going to send this thing? i don't know what was going on there because it seemed like, They should have been sending more. But anyway, um it was very kishy. There were no live actors in it. It was all like um animatronics and things popping out at you.
Speaker: um I did get scared once um because there was one that popped out from overhead and the way that it was lit and the timing of it was like just right to where you just had no idea it was coming. And I was like, oh,
Speaker: um But the rest of them were just like so noisy that they were kind of predictable. But um it was like well maintained. All of the stuff in there was working um and it was pretty cool. It was just one of the ones where like it um like a classic dark ride, like wacky shack at Waldemere with the like the two tires and then the one in the front, except it was more of like an enclosed vehicle. um It was very German and over designed. So that was fun.
Speaker: And I want to say that was about like seven euro, which is you know, not cheap, cheap um for just a dark ride. So Yeah. And then I kept walking and I found ah the first big roller coaster, which is Wild Mouse XXL, which is a somewhat famous traveling roller coaster in Europe because it's a um modified wild mouse. That's why it's XXL now. So it started out as like the typical Mauer wild mouse layout that's copy pasted like all over the place and at everything. But for this version, they took that and they extended the beginning part of the layout. So the lift hill goes even higher. And then it has like a big drop at the beginning and turns. It does another big drop before it goes to the rest of the layout.
Speaker: Also, the queue is a fun house, which was quite entertaining. Like you're walking through and it's got those things that are like moving at your feet and like going up and down and like the spinning disks that are hard to walk through and everything. So that was cute. I that. It was fun. If the line ever stalled, like would you be like stuck in that one little? Yes.
Speaker: It was literally a walk on there was no line at all. But I was imagining I was like, what happens if you're just like stuck? There's literally an area where you're walking on logs over water. I can't imagine being stuck there and just like, oh, my feet between the logs and just having to like not fall into the water. um But yeah, that was that was super fun and cute.
Speaker: um but Given that it's Germany, I feel like because their ride ops are always like so efficient and moving. I feel like even if there is a full queue, it just keeps moving. That's just how they are. um But it was it was really fun. um probably one of the better wild mouses I've ever done. um The breaking was non existent.
Speaker: So the turns were very violent. um And also the airtime was violent because you didn't get braked. So that was fun. um And then the breaking at the end was also very violent per per usual or you just slam into the break and it's painful. um So that was fun and it was cool to be able to do that. I've seen videos of it like from people vlogging at fairs and stuff over over the years and in Europe and I was excited it was there because it's kind of an icon.
Speaker: um And then i kept walking. They had all kinds of other spinning rides and everything. Another hilarious thing is about these fairs is that the spinning rides and generally speaking, most of the rides don't have any fences around them.
Speaker: So it's just like spinning very fast. And if you wanted to, you could just walk up and get hit by the ride, which is crazy. Yeah. But yeah, so it's it's hilarious to see just the trust that they put in the German public not to walk slash run into moving vehicles on rides because there's no fence in the way.
Speaker: um I was thinking to myself, like, ah I could see, well, first of all, like, I mean, the US just wouldn't do that for liability reasons, but I could see there being a problem that there was like a small child that just ran off and ran into the ride area that was moving. that That was, I was like thinking about that to myself.
Speaker: But maybe German children just don't do that. The parents are like, you stay here. ah um What else? I kept walking around.
Speaker: um And then i found another spooky dark ride. This one was called a Geister Palace, which is Ghost Palace.
Speaker: um It had a different theme to it and the ride vehicles were also different. It was kind of like the Haunted Mansion where you like have those like high backrest vehicles.
Speaker: So it was two cars attached together and then both of the cars could spin so that they could like pivot you to face different directions. It was like a completely different ride system. Um, this one was kind of weird because it was more indoor outdoor. Like the other one, you were kind of in the house most of the time. Then you would like pop out for like 30 seconds and then the rest of it was all indoor. This one was kind of a blend. Like you would go through a hallway indoor and then come back outside and then another hallway and then back outside.
Speaker: So there weren't a lot of like, great scares. But then at the very end, when you finally made it back down to like the ground floor level, there was this hallway that reminded me of the Jason hallway um from HHN because it was just like every single animatronic in a line just going off at you in the dark. It was pretty hilarious. um So I don't think I actually got like scared, scared in that one by anything.
Speaker: um But it was cool that that finale just had so many animatronics in a row just going on and on and on. And that one was about the same price, I think.
Speaker: It was about like seven, seven euros. So those were fun. And it was kind of cool to do like a European version of the like dark ride, spooky houses that we have here as well.
Speaker: Definitely um a little bit better maintained than some of the ones that we have over here. um And then kind of the little oh and then there was a a wacky worm plus one. So I rode that on the third lap. There was this like overhead thing that sprayed water at me that I was not prepared for. ah like What the heck? Tricks. Yeah. It's like rude. um And then i watched the next train go around so I could see the people get squirted. And they were like, ah.
Speaker: That's hilarious. um That one was only like $3.50, I think. So that was more appropriately priced. And then the finale was Olympia Looping.
Speaker: So I got really lucky. And Olympia Looping, you know, has kind of been at Vienna Prader for a while. And then it usually appears at the Winter Wonderland. I think it's called a fair in London.
Speaker: And it has not been at Hamburg Dom in a long time. But this year, for whatever reason, it showed up. um There was kind of a rumor because they had taken it down at Vienna Prader and everybody was like, where's it going? And it popped up in Hamburg for the spring fair.
Speaker: um So that was really cool. That's probably the most famous driving a roller coaster out there at any fair. And I was excited to I was like, I can't believe the timing of this is working out that a work conference is the same time that this roller coaster is literally in the same city. So lucky oh lucky. Crazy. When I saw that, when I saw you post that on Instagram, I like went back four times to make sure it was you. I was like, is this really happening right now?
Speaker: I remember when Joey had sent pictures of him at a carnival or at a fair. You're like, you would be at a fair. then he sent a picture of Olympia Lupin. You're like, oh. I was like, this is not, you know, worst of the worst plus ones. Like, I'm here for a reason. Yeah. Um, so yeah, it was 1250 a ride.
Speaker: So I wrote it once because I literally ran out of cash after doing all of this other stuff that I was doing. Um, I think they did take credit cards by the way. I just wanted to be prepared with cash just in case because it's, you know, how fares are. um So they were running one train at the time. They had four available, but they didn't need to be running more. That's why I assume that at night, if it gets busier, they probably run more and it would be cool to like, see the trains running around the circuit faster. Um, let's see.
Speaker: The restraints do have those like little nubs kind of that like come down. Um, very similar to, ah what's that ride? All American triple Luke before they took them off. Um, But luckily, like the guy who pushed them down, he didn't like do it super tight on me. So they actually didn't bother me as much as I was expecting.
Speaker: um Going in, that was a concern that i had like just from other people that have ridden it. They were like, oh, yeah, the shoulder harness is painful and like it's, you know, makes the ride not as fun. But I did not find that to be the case, luckily.
Speaker: Um, the lift hill is interesting with the tires and it's like curved on your way up. It felt very tall at the fairground because there's just nothing else that tall around besides like some of those tower rides. so you're just looking down at all of these smaller rides around you.
Speaker: um And then, yeah, it's very smooth, like what you would expect a Schwarzkopf to feel like. um The loops are relatively intense, um especially the ones that are like one right after the other one. You kind of get the first loop, which is almost a corkscrew. It's kind of like very oddly shaped. um And then you turn around and you go through the double and then you turn around again and go through another double and then he goes through like a helix and then it's pretty much over. It does feel pretty long though for a Schwartz Gough.
Speaker: It doesn't really have very much airtime, I'll say. It's not really like a ah force that seems designed into the ride particularly. um So mostly you're just kind of getting positives from the loops and then like feeling the speed. It does pick up some pretty good speed just because of its height and kind of the way it's designed.
Speaker: um So, yeah, it was really cool to ride. um I'm glad I got to ride it. And for its age and the fact that they're constantly disassembling and putting it back together, it's kind of surprising how smooth it is.
Speaker: um I've ridden other Schwarzkopf that are rougher for sure, like even Mindbender over Georgia is rougher than this. So that was pretty cool. um But yeah, i think my favorite Schwarzkopf is still Shockwave over Texas just because it has the most ridiculous airtime.
Speaker: And the loops are quite intense as well. A little bit more than Olympia looping. Yeah, it was so cool to just to see it just with the five loops, like those iconic loops walking up to it. You're just like, what the heck? I can't believe I'm here. Yeah, that's really cool.
Speaker: Yeah. So that was the fair. um It was a good time. And I would recommend that if, I don't know, if fair happens to be around you in Europe, just go because it's kind of a vibe and it's fun to see all the food items they have and and the weird things spinning rides that you don't see over here. Like I wish I had more time to ride some of those because they looked, some of them look bonkers.
Speaker: um They had one of those like super tall, whatever you call it. I can't remember. um a Boom arm type ones too that was flipping upside down and that looked fun too, but I didn't get a chance to ride it.
Speaker: So yeah, after that, um I had my work conference. And then at the end of that, just to do a really quick shout out, I went to Miniature Wonderland, which is in Hamburg. It's like this massive ah warehouse type building that they have filled with miniature models of various locations. There's like Italy, France, Germany, the United States, some fake towns that they made up.
Speaker: And it has like moving vehicles and moving trains. And the best part for me is like there's a model airport in there and the planes actually fly like they taxi away from the gate. They go to a runway and then they take off and then they land. And it's very cool. We got super lucky with our timing because while we were there, they have some special quote unquote planes at this airport. And we got to see the Millennium Falcon take off at this airport. So that was hilarious.
Speaker: um So, yeah, just shout out if you're ever in Hamburg, check out Miniature Wonderland. It's very cool. All right. And then um the last bit, the next two days I spent at the North Germany parks. ah So I went to Heide Park first, which is owned by Merlin, the chain Merlin, who also is like Alton Towers and parks like that.
Speaker: um I don't know. Highlights. Let's see. I had heard not the most positive things about this park, so i wasn't super like excited necessarily going in.
Speaker: um Mostly excited for Colossus, which is the prefabricated wood coaster like El Toro. um But everything else, I was like, eh, okay, whatever. You know, this coaster's here.
Speaker: um I was pleasantly surprised with the park. It's... People in Europe have called it a six flags. i'm like, that is so ridiculous to me because there are parts of it that are so beautiful. And like there's gardens and trees and like theming. And I just don't see it. um I took a picture that i'm really I really like that has like pretty trees in it with the roller coasters. Yeah.
Speaker: So yeah, it was it was nice. And there were a lot of other like non roller coaster things to do. They had a lot of they had two monorails and a train and multiple boat rides, like all of these, you know, non coaster things to do that I spent part of the day doing.
Speaker: It was a Friday. It was not very busy. Pretty much everything was a station wait or a walk on. um Some of the coasters were on one train. But again, it just didn't matter because there was not enough people there to like build queues up really.
Speaker: Um, my highlights were Colossus. Obviously that was my number 900. That was my favorite coaster at the park. It's not quite as unhinged as El Toro. Um, but it is very good.
Speaker: Um, I would compare it to Balder in terms of like the intensity of the airtime, but it's a little bit longer. Um, so it feels more complete than Balder does. And then it has that super cool, like wooden statue wicker man thing on the end that bursts into flames and you go into its mouth. That's pretty cool.
Speaker: Um, I was very surprised by, um, uh, let's just say the English version flight of the demon, which is their wing coaster.
Speaker: um I'm not like a huge wing coaster person. I think they're fun, like, but they're not, they've never been super standout to me besides maybe Thunderbird. um But I was pleasantly surprised by this one. it it hasn't like a speed time or a speed hill after the first wing over drop that has like good air time. And then a lot of the inversions were very like,
Speaker: floaty and and weird and like had pull to them that you just don't normally feel on wing coasters. I think that's because it was like compact and kind of built into this Transylvanian village.
Speaker: Um, so that was like way better than i expected. I think I wrote it six times. Um, just cause I mean, there wasn't a line, so why not? Uh, and it's, yeah, it's just super cool the way it's, it's built into this Transylvanian section of the park, which I think Kelly would enjoy. It's spooky vibes area. That sounds fun. I also love a wing.
Speaker: Um, what else? They have a bad SLC that banged my head up. That might be the worst SLC. Um, Yeah, it was you i like I did the thing where I pressed my head against the the thing on the side and it didn't help that much for this. no no i was like, no. um So, yeah, that was a one and done for sure.
Speaker: um What else was good? Desert Race. That's ah very similar to Rita at Alton Towers, which I did not get to ride there. So I was curious what it was like. um I think it's slow, isn't it?
Speaker: It's almost. There's this like very minor difference at the end of it in the way that it turns back into the station. um But the yeah, the beginning of it is the same. But it has those old like hard Intamin restraints. And so you launch, which is great. I mean, it's not the best hydraulic launch, but it's it's good.
Speaker: It's got a nice like punch to it. And then you immediately do like a Maverick style turn and so then it just rams you into the the the terrible hard restraint. So that caught me off guard at first. But it does have some good airtime. Definitely has some positives. I was feeling those.
Speaker: um So that was pretty good. What else? um What do you remember, Tyler? Did you go on the giant slide that's near Colossus?
Speaker: No, I kept thinking about it. And then I, you know, I was like seeing a bunch of kids on it. There's it's like a, I don't know what four story tall metal slide. Yeah. The one in Chicago.
Speaker: yeah um That did look cool. thanks the I get some of my parks mixed up on that trip because we did so many. um But one of them was closed, I think. The very tallest one, but like the second level was open and we did that one and it was fun.
Speaker: I think that was Heidi. Oh, at the slide. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The slide. Okay. I thought you meant like the second level of the park and I was like, did I miss something? You missed the whole level of the park. Oh no. And more creds. Not the missing creds.
Speaker: But yeah, I mean like the rest of the stuff wasn't super notable. Oh yeah. The other big coaster there is Kraka, which is just a dive coaster that basically does a dive, a splash down, an emelment, an airtime hill and it's over.
Speaker: um So it's kind of like the one at Efteling. I will say, though, it's kind of like nice to have a just regular straight airtime hill on a dive coaster. It actually did hit and it had the older strengths. So you kind of like felt it more than with the vests. But yeah. how how wild is the lead car on Indie Blitz?
Speaker: Oh, yes. Yeah, that's, yeah. It's a full Native American face. um European parks love to put in a Wild West section and they're often quite interesting.
Speaker: So, yeah, that was ah that was an interesting one for sure. i think that part that That section of the park actually was pretty small. Oh, my gosh. We're seeing a picture.
Speaker: Yeah. Not great. um Not. Yeah, that's I don't know why they're so obsessed with the Wild West over there. ah Anything else that's notable?
Speaker: They have a bobsled that's like pretty long and kind of a terrain coaster almost. And then it ends with a lift hole that brings you back to the station. I was like, no, not the anti-comax. That's like flying turns. Exactly. Right. And what else? There's like a, oh, oh, Adventure Express. You just end with the lift hill and you're like, oh, it's over. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker: And I did ride some dark rides. So I rode, don't remember what the translation is, but it was called like Damon and Gruft. I think it just means ghost demon, um which is a relatively new addition to the park in a very, very small space.
Speaker: So it was just kind of like you get in the vehicle and it moves super slowly, but through pitch black dark. I had no idea what was supposed to be going on, if anything, because I would say like 70% of this dark ride was literally just pitch black darkness and the occasional like sound effect going on around you. And there were only actually about three scenes.
Speaker: There was like a video screen with skeletons hopping at you and then some physical props. And like the big finale was this kind of big skull that like lunges at you. And that was the coolest part. But I was just like, man, they could have done so much more in this little space. I will say it was unsettling, though, just because it was so dark.
Speaker: I don't think I've ever been in dark ride that dark. It was crazy. I literally couldn't see anything. And I was just like, what's gonna happen? And then nothing did. I don't think that was there when I was there.
Speaker: It probably wasn't. Yeah, it's it's I don't know what year it was built, but it was pretty recent. um And so like the reviews of it on on Google are a bunch of Germans being like, this is terrible. They should have done so much better. um And then they also have Ghostbusters 5D, which is ah like a shooting screen based dark ride that was actually pretty good.
Speaker: like it had a combination of physical sets and the screens um that blended really well together. And the screens were also of higher definition than sometimes they are in these dark rides. So I was like, okay, all right. I see you guys. um So that was fun.
Speaker: and then, yeah, I did a lot of like the slow transit things. I wrote a garden boat. I wrote a monorail. I wrote just silliness. all of Oh, I wrote, I forgot about this. The off-brand. No, it's not off-brand. They obviously paid for the licensing, but I call it off-brand how to train your dragon land because it's so no they have it.
Speaker: um And they clearly like paid for it from DreamWorks and everything because it has, you know, like there's a hiccup and there's a toothless and everything in this land. But it is such an inferior version and compared to what's at Epic Universe. It's kind of hilarious. Like I rode ah a boat ride.
Speaker: And you just kind of go around like this mountain thing and then you go indoors through a dark ride section and do a turn. But the scenes in there are mostly just static figures that they turn a light on It's like, there's Hiccup.
Speaker: There's a dragon. There's And they're like, okay. Not even some smoke or something. like um So that was hilarious. Yeah.
Speaker: I think some people like a couple years ago, I remember post were posting pictures of toothless in Germany and they were like, what's he doing over here? um So that was funny. but Yeah, that's pretty much it. It was a good time.
Speaker: um I enjoyed my day there and it's definitely worth going to for um Colossus and Flight of the Demon. I think those are pretty, pretty darn fun roller coasters. And some of the other ones are like fine. They're just, you know, they're there.
Speaker: All right. um And then i went north of Hamburg. So this Heidi was to the south. And then I drove like 90 minutes to the north. And i stayed in a little town called Lübeck, which I would recommend checking out if you're in the area just because it was super cool and has a lot of history behind it.
Speaker: And it was neat to walk around um the city. Next day, I went to Hansa Park. um which is more of a family-based park than Haida. I would say Haida is Six Flagsian in the way that they have like more thrill coasters there.
Speaker: um But Hansa doesn't not have thrill coasters. They definitely have some. um it It has better theming than Haida Park does. like The lands are a little bit more cohesive, but it's not like...
Speaker: not a crazy amount more theming. Mostly the theming is in the queues. That's the biggest difference, I would say. Like they spent a lot of time on especially their big rides like the queues having special theming and the stations looking really nice and stuff like that.
Speaker: um Let me pull up RCDB so I can get the proper highlights here because I wrote a lot of like family coasters that I'm not going to remember that much about. ah um the big one here is ah or The big ones are all Gerstlauer, which is interesting.
Speaker: um There's a lot of Gerstlauer at this park. So there's Flucht von Novgorod, which is Eurofighter model. It's not... that different from mystery mine kind of in the way that it's set up as a dark ride as well. The queue is very cool. It's like a mine and you're like walking through um and then it starts out with a launch into an airtime hill.
Speaker: um You do some turns, you do a roll and then it does just like mystery mine. You go up the vertical lift and then you kind of do a dive and a little bit more of the layout and then you are back to the station.
Speaker: Um, unfortunately it's quite rough and because it has the same like mystery mind over the shoulder restraints, you are banging your head. Um, so that wasn't super fun. Um, for that reason, the layout is good, I would say, but the tracking is not sadly. um so I wrote it two or three times. And then after that, I was like, I can't like I don't want to do that again just because I thought I was going to get a headache. um But it was cool. And then the craziest part, honestly, was the exit of the ride is a maze like there's this section where it divides into two and then you pick one of the two paths and doesn't matter which way you go. You have to like navigate through like this very dark, like red lit maze to get to the actual exit. That was bizarre and cool. But yeah, I was thinking to myself, like I can imagine like a kid has had a panic attack and here's something trying to get out. Yeah. They're like they're pumping in like this heart-thumping sound and you're just trying to like figure out where to go.
Speaker: Or if there's a fire and you're trying to navigate to get out of the fire. I don't remember seeing emergency exits, but yeah. um The other thing about this ride that is kind of disappointing...
Speaker: is at the beginning you like go through two block sections and they were just dark. And I was like, was something supposed to happen here? I looked it up on YouTube later. And apparently like there used to be some kind of pre-show element there. I don't know if it's been not working for a long time or if that's more of a recent is issue. um But there did appear to previously be some kind of pre-show telling the story of the ride before you actually launch out of the building. But that was not functional while I was there.
Speaker: Um, Let's see what else. The other big Gerstlauer is obviously Karnan. Short is Karnan. um Very cool cue. I think many people have mentioned that before.
Speaker: um it tells the story really well. um And they have English subtitles so you can figure it out. um The boarding process is super interesting because you kind of like go through the loose articles room, you store all your stuff, and then they send you into this tower looking room.
Speaker: And you get divided up into it's um a four by four train. So you get divided up into the four rows and you're standing on the circles and the room starts lighting and there's all these sound effects happening. And then by row, byrow it lights up underneath your feet.
Speaker: And then one of these doors opens, but it's not the door right in front of your row. It's completely random. So like you could be in what looks like the third row and then end up in the first row of the coaster because it sends you row by row to like different doors. So every time I wrote it, i was like...
Speaker: not sure where I was going to end up. It was so bizarre. I got really lucky, though, in the fact that like my first assignment, i I was in the third row and somehow got the back. And then the next time I was in the second row and got the front. so I was like, hey, this worked out. um The ride is very interesting. Spoiler alert if you don't want to know more about it.
Speaker: um I feel like it's pretty well known out there. But if you don't, definitely skip the next, I don't know, minute or so. um So you dispatch from the station and you start climbing this lift.
Speaker: And there's a bit of a projection effect that's kind of along with this king from the story. And then you do about, I think it's a hundred foot free fall drop backwards on the vertical lift.
Speaker: um So that is quite interesting. um You definitely feel weightlessness like it's fast enough that you feel the weightlessness um and then it kind of brings you up the rest of the way and you do the rest of the layout, which is all outdoor after that initial section that's in the dark tower.
Speaker: um It is also not smooth. ah Unfortunately, like and it's funny because it picks up so much speed.
Speaker: um Because it's I think it's over 200 feet tall, the drop. um And so like the drop is fine. And then you hit the bottom of the drop and it just starts shaking and You're going through a pretty cool inversion at the beginning. It's like a double inversion thing.
Speaker: Actually, I don't even know if those count into the versions because the way that it rolls. But anyway, it's shaking you through that. And then you go down to the really low to the ground section and it's going so fast, but it's also shaking you. and There's a nice airtime hill in that section, um which is one of the only parts that wasn't shaking.
Speaker: And then um you break, you do a roll and it's over. um So this is one of those ones where I was just like frustrated by the the potential for it to be so great that it's kind of ruined by how rough it is.
Speaker: And I'm not usually somebody like especially for wooden coasters when some people say they're rough. I usually don't mind. But something about the way that like these girls flowers when they have that problem, the way that they shake it like hurts my head.
Speaker: I don't know what it is about it. um So it had like a 40, 30 to 40 minute queue all day because the capacity is pretty terrible because it does that backwards drop on the, on the lift. It just takes a long time to cycle the trains. Um, and I was not mad about that cause I don't think I could lap this. Like, I don't think I could ride it three times in a row. It would definitely give me a headache.
Speaker: Um, um Yeah. So it was like kind of what I expected because it does have that reputation for being rough. But it made it was maybe a little more affected me a little more than I expected because usually if it's a rough and people can complain, I'm like, and it's OK. But was like, oh, man, this is really disappointing because like it's it's could be like so good and the newer infinity roller coasters like hang time and monster at adventureland are like relatively smooth they don't really have the same problem i think that was just kind of one of their earlier infinity models that's struggling with that so yeah yeah i know what you mean with the infinity models and the roughness being different it's like it's almost like a micro tracking issue
Speaker: so Instead of like going maybe an inch or two on each side, it's just like a couple of centimeters, but it's going just so quick. It's more of a vibration. And that just like, exactly it you can feel it in your bones.
Speaker: Yeah, that's what it is. Yeah, that's what makes it just uncomfortable to the point where like you don't want to ride it immediately again. Yeah. um So I think I wrote it three or four times.
Speaker: I think four. um But I spaced it out like I did not do it back to back. um with the queue and everything. I just kind of spaced it out throughout the day. So it didn't like prevent me from rewriting it. It was still I stay able to do that. It's not that bad, but it was just frustrating because i was like, man, this could be so much better.
Speaker: um But shout out to the park for doing the level of theming they did. Hansa Park's an independent park, so they don't have like chain money behind them or anything. And it's cool that they invested so much in like the storytelling and the this really cool looking tower and the queue and all of that stuff.
Speaker: um let's see what else is notable i think the only other thing that's particularly notable is nessie which is another schwartzgauf um and i was shocked by this and it's probably my favorite roller coaster in the park um I went into the station and i was like, well, if I know anything about these, I have to go ride this in the back row. So I waited out for the back row.
Speaker: um It has a pretty decent drop with a little bit of airtime. You go through a loop, you turn around ah and then you go through a very unhinged airtime hill. Holy crap. um This thing just has a lap bar with no seatbelt and i was concerned for my life.
Speaker: ah That was crazy. And then it goes through like a helix and it's pretty much over. But just for that. oh No. And there's like a little um there's a little drop at the end as well that has good airtime. So I was like caught off guard because Schwarzkopf's besides shockwave don't really have that.
Speaker: And it doesn't look like much like the the curvature of it when you're just looking at it from the ground. You're like, OK, but then you ride it and you're like, holy crap. And then you start watching like kids in the back row go fly go flying down the hill. You're like, oh, yeah, yeah, it's crazy. um So that was a lot of fun.
Speaker: and I ended up riding that several times just because of that. Um, they don't have any dark rides there, actually, which was interesting. um They do have some other like unique attractions. They had like one of those high ropes courses thing that's actually included with admission.
Speaker: i did not do that um just because I was kind of tired at the end of this long week, but I would have otherwise um because it's kind of cool that that's free. um And there were some just like family rides for sure.
Speaker: ah What else? Anything notable? They did have one of those like bouncy pillow things. I don't know what they call those, but some of these yeah European parks have those. Weird trampoline, I guess.
Speaker: Yeah, exactly. ah oh and Highlander. I can't believe I forgot about that. um Highlander is a, wait, is it 300 plus? I think it's 300 plus, feet no, 275 plus feet tall drop tower.
Speaker: um It's the same model of the ill-fated Icon Park um drop tower. And it also has the tilting built-in.
Speaker: It actually has two programs. So in the morning, it tilts you at the top and it spins around once, then it tilts back. So you just get a straight drop. And then in the afternoon, they switch it to where it tilts and then you drop with it tilted.
Speaker: um It didn't really make that much of a difference to me, honestly. It's just a really good drop. Like it feels so long because it's so tall. um Haida Park also had a drop tower that was a little bit shorter. um That's one of the Intamin gyro drops. And that was also a good one, but it's just not as tall. So it was pretty impressive. I think Highlander is one of the, maybe the tallest drop tower in Europe, I think.
Speaker: um So yeah, it was really cool. And then Hansa Park is near the Baltic Sea on the north side of Germany. So when you're up there, you can just see it's it's a really nice view, basically. There's several points in the park where you can see the the sea, which is which is pretty nice.
Speaker: I will say they had a very annoying policy, which I have encountered in another German park and then at Park Asterix, which is that they don't allow glasses, even with a strap, on Karnan, on Highlander, and on Novgorod.
Speaker: So I was not able to properly see everything as well as I would have liked. um I don't know why they're so strict about that at some of these parks, but that was kind of annoying.
Speaker: I think that's it. um I'm not sure there was anything else super notable there. um Oh, the food was good. um They had like one of those restaurants where it's kind of like a buffet and you can pick what you want. And I got some spinach and cheese tortellini with like broccoli and carrots and it was quite good for a theme park for sure and not terribly terribly expensive so good for them on having like edible food um that's always nice to see and the fact that they give you like actual plates and actual silverware is is nice as well and then you just like return it it's it's kind of it feels elevated compared to the crappy paper plates that you usually get at Six Flags or whatever parks here so yeah that's that's pretty much it
Speaker: It was a good time. Sounds like a good time. my am My hot take for that park is that Novgorod is better than Karnan. I could see that.
Speaker: Yeah, I don't know that I agree. i didn't find it super rough. I mean, it it's a little rough, but also all the effects were working. But just the roughness of Karnan, it was just so disappointing. Yeah, like I couldn't even bear it. I think we wrote it twice.
Speaker: Oh, geez. Yeah. No, I get it. get it. I get it. Yeah. I think it didn't help that both of my seats on Novgorod were like the outside ones. I think if I've gotten an inside, it might have been a little less less rough because mystery minds kind of like that, too. Yeah. um But yeah, I that's the take that I can 100 percent see because it does have good moments. It does.
Speaker: What's so weird to me about these Gerstflowers is like you hear how many people love some of them that end up being so rough. And then like ones that aren't talked about or are hated or overhated. Like I thought Saw.
Speaker: i was just about to say, I know. Literally fine. It was literally fine. i really enjoyed it. i had no problem with it. Isn't that funny? Yeah. like As Americans, we have, I feel, the opposite reaction because Europeans highly rate Karnan. They think it's like the best thing ever, and they hate Saw. Meanwhile, we're like, uh. Yeah.
Speaker: And then Caracho at Tripp's Drill, you you've done that, right, Joey? Yeah. Yeah, i absolutely loved that. I had not even heard of it before I went to that park. I didn't even know it existed until I got on it.
Speaker: And that ride was so fun. I know. And the launch is pretty intense, too. It just. Yeah, yes. It's very cool. Yeah. And that ride has a little bit of the Gerstlauer shuffle, but like not by any means what these ones at Hansa were like.
Speaker: Right. Yeah. But like some of their, like we rode Defiance at Glenwood and that like wasn't very good either. And that's very new. Yeah. That was disappointing too. Yeah. I don't know what's up with them. Cause like sometimes they get it right and sometimes they just don't.
Speaker: Yeah. I remember they were like so excited for us to ride it. Like there weren't that many people there and then they were like looking for a reaction when we like pulled into the station. We all just like looked at each other like, yeah. It's great. Yeah.
Speaker: I feel bad for them though because they're you know like a small independent park yeah yeah it's such a big deal for them to get a ride like that and we're like because it's the coolest view like from the top of it very well this is amazing and then you go through the layout and you're like and then you're like brace yeah racece for impact yeah yeah oh they're trying yeah Their family models are great.
Speaker: Oh, yeah maybe yeah. Actually, speaking of, sorry, I forgot to mention that too. Hansa Park is currently building Cornwall Coaster, which is a Gerstlauer family coaster. And I think um you can see like it has this twisted spike So it's one of those ones where like you ah go through the layout and then there's a switch track and like you go a different direction the next time. So it's kind of like a half shuttle, half not. It looks pretty cool. Like the theming on it looks really good. um They were actively painting it at the park on a Saturday while I was there. i was like, OK, because there's like all these signs opening 2026. And I'm like, well, not yet. Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, I really enjoyed like surprisingly Tiki Waka at Belgium. I was like, wow, this is so good and nobody talks about it. So that's funny thing. We'll talk more about that this summer after we go. But we don't have Gerstlauer bobsleds in the US. s They're all in Europe, but they're actually good. Yeah, they're like fun.
Speaker: There's like the one at Tripstreet too. um I can't remember the German name of that, but maybe Tyler remembers it. That one's good too. Well, fine. I'm glad you had a good trip. I'm glad your um Delta poisoning was swift and yeah you moved on and had a good time. um We don't have that much more to discuss today. We are gearing up, some of us, for...
Speaker: a Buzzbars event this weekend at Dollywood running Dolly's Hills, which was created once we found out that they were having their inaugural race weekend there this weekend. So we have lots of members running in all of the events, that the kids race, the 5K, the 10K and the half marathon. So I think it'll be really fun to cheer each other on um the course, at least for the longer events looks great.
Speaker: terrible um if you're a runner um there is a 1400 foot elevation gain on the half marathon course um i've never run a half marathon without much elevation um so it should be interesting for everyone involved that's a small mountain That's literally a mountain. um So yeah, it's going to be great. Hopefully the weather cooperates. I've been so into running lately and it's been tough because I've been, you know, rehabbing my hip, but I, yesterday Boston Marathon was giving me all of the feels and now my algorithm is just everything running. I'm just watching all of the running Instagram influencers. I feel like
Speaker: When I was really into running 10 years ago, that didn't really exist as much. So it's kind of fun to like get back into that stuff. um And I just feel like the running community is one of the most like positive groups of people that you can ever be around. Like,
Speaker: Everyone is generally happy. Everyone's supporting each other. Like I've met some of the nicest people struggling in a race, like like me struggling and them encouraging me like people are just so kind and and want everyone to do well. I just I'm really excited for people in Buzzbars who haven't experienced that yet to experience that this weekend. I'm excited to see how everybody likes it, even though the race will probably be really hard. Yeah.
Speaker: So we're doing that. We have a couple of questions related to our upcoming event. Obviously we'll report back after the event as well. But Ethan asked what part of Dollywood, the Dollywood event are you most excited for?
Speaker: i think just getting back on lightning rod. It's been a few years. I don't think I've done it since. Yeah. I haven't done it since the recent modification. It was closed last time I was there. So checking that out, getting back on big bear.
Speaker: That's a fun ride. I'm curious about that as well. I have not read a ridden chain rod yet. change god But I would say I'm more excited for Thunderhead, honestly. Love that ride.
Speaker: I am excited that my kids are going and they are both tall enough to ride almost everything at Dollywood. So that'll be really fun. That's going to be fun. How is how is ah how is Benny feeling?
Speaker: We don't know. We don't know. We never know. We never know. Do like airtime? Do we not? We will ask if everything. Yeah. He will ask if it has airtime and we will tell him little, and then that's like the best that we can do, honestly, but he might get his first RMC at this park. So that's exciting. Oh my gosh. I can't believe he's tall enough for that. That's crazy. Yeah, he's tall enough. And I think Amelia will love because she loves Wildcats Revenge. And this is obviously tamer than that. So I think she'll like really have fun.
Speaker: Yeah. um so I'm excited for them to experience the rides. And obviously I'm excited for the races as well. Sorry, Rafa. And I'm excited to hear about it. Yeah. Brayden tacked on to that question. He asked, what is your favorite mountain coaster in that area?
Speaker: We put it on the itinerary. We sure did My favorite is Lost Mine. Just I don't know that it's the best mountain coaster, but it by far has the best theming. And it's very long and interesting.
Speaker: Yeah. And we purposely scheduled it at night because it's super cool at night. Really fun. So come out and join us. I hope my kids stay awake. They're not like, you're going on this. OK.
Speaker: Yeah. um And then Philip asked how much cinnamon bread will be consumed. So there's cinnamon bread on the course. There's cinnamon bread on the half marathon course is what ah the. What? Yeah.
Speaker: That sounds like a terrible thing to consume midway on a course. I hope it's at the end. I don't know. That extra sugar might give you the boost that you need. It might. And honestly, is I'm not above trying it. Like if it if it comes back to get me, like it was probably worth it. Listen. Yeah, why not? I'm sure it will be. Well, you can also ride the rides early. a couple of coasters. I forget which ones, but a couple towards the back of the park. If you're running, you on them early.
Speaker: It's Big Bear Mountain and i think Mystery Mine, right? That sounds like a horrible idea. don't think it Mystery Mine. Oh, no, it was Blazing Fury. Yeah, Blazing Fury. so yeah that's no-for-me-dong. don't know if you can literally stop your run and do it, or do you have to finish and then come back? I don't really know. It's a little unclear. They did say that Big Bear is at like mile 11 point something, and it's like, you want me to stop running, ride the ride, and then run again? They do that at the Disney races. You can ride Everest in the middle of the marathon.
Speaker: i hate that this is something I would love to do, but I won't finish the run then. So like, like I can't be doing that. Yeah. That's so interesting.
Speaker: Yeah. We'll see. It's their first one they've ever done. So it might be a little bit of a cluster. We'll, we'll have to see we're back. They did. They did announce a second race weekend in the fall of this year. yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, I mean, considering how quickly they seem to be surprised by how quickly it was selling when we were talking to them about it. so they were probably interested to see what the size of the field is like.
Speaker: Is this like a thousand person banger? Is this a thousand person banger? Like I have i have just zero expectation. I don't know. It's gonna be very, very interesting. I'd probably guess like a thousand on the half and then probably a little bit more.
Speaker: Or probably about the same on the 10K and maybe more for the if I had to guess. Yeah. We'll see, I guess. Those aren't really small races. they're not large, but those wouldn't be considered small.
Speaker: Yeah. Should be fun. We don't, unfortunately, have anything to ah discuss regarding chills this week. Hopefully, we'll get some more information coming out of...
Speaker: HHN land soon. But if not, we have a fun game we're going to play next episode about some past HHN houses. What else? Dark rides. Those are chills, kind of.
Speaker: Yeah, we got some chills on Joey's trip. that yeah Yeah. European parks love the spooky stuff, too. so i love that. love The Transylvanian section at Hyde Park i was very, I enjoyed it a lot. I wish I could have seen it at a night, but these parks are never open that late. so um But the little the little street lamps were like ghosts. It was cute.
Speaker: yeah That's cool. I love that. All right. Well, thanks for tuning in to this episode.
