Transcript

Speaker: Hello everyone and welcome to A Path Through Time. My name is Dakota, your PM, your DM, your GM. And sitting to my left is somebody who prefers jam over jelly. Yeah, totally.

Speaker: Definitely not opposite of how i really am. Definitely love jam, love the little bits in there. So much better than the smooth jelly. I'm Eli, I'm playing Paulo the Fan P for this one shot.

Speaker: and sitting across from me is someone who is currently calculating a new approximation of pi. but That would be me. The current going rate for time is 12.6. I am Jacob. i will be playing Robin the Spiel, and to my left is someone who doesn't know the concept of time.

Speaker: Yo, what the hell is a clock? Hi, I'm Rook. I'm playing Sturgill the Clefairy. Yeah, so this is a one-shot we're doing. um And it is going to be, if you couldn't tell from... I'm pretty sure I'm going to use the old D&D logo we did before.

Speaker: ah Instead of a typical D&D logo. So this is going to be another one of those D&D one-shots. And... It is going to be a little bit different than before though. We are going to be doing D&D style, but with the PTT system. So we're not doing like a... I think last time we did Pokemon with a D&D 5e. This time we're doing PTT with the D&D aesthetic. so we're still using the pct system it's gonna be a really fun one shot i hope so i've already heard a little bit about what these guys are planning and i have a feeling this whole one shot is gonna go out the window so we're gonna see how that goes but yes so um right so with that being said i think we're good to just jump in we don't have a recap or i anything as this is a one shot so um rook why don't you go ahead and give us a random move all right uh

Speaker: recycle all right let us recycle on in because that makes any kind of sense you can recycle an episode i mean this is would say this is a recycled episode it's still different than what we did before you're taking an old concept and making a new one don't know don't know with that we will recycle on in Okay, so, um do you guys want to explain what your group that you just described to me a few minutes ago?

Speaker: We are a bowling team. We are all part of the same league or group.

Speaker: Yep, in case you didn't notice, we're all... Roughly ball-shaped Pokemon, being a Fanpy, a and Clefairy.

Speaker: So we are in a bowling league where we always try to use our own bodies as the bowling balls. And sometimes it works great, and sometimes it doesn't.

Speaker: Yeah, only two of the three of us has a dependable rollout. I have been banned from several bowling leagues. Do you care to expound?

Speaker: Expound? Expound. It means to give further context. I think that's called explain. Nope. Expound. Yeah. that's the right definition for expound expound means to explain interpret or set forth an idea theory or text in a detailed so systematic or scholarly often formal matter so with that expound i have difficulties being ballin i see also known as metronome just oh yeah hair for using explode

Speaker: Yeah, it's such a weird use on metronome. So, um, you guys are, for some fucking reason, in a D&D setting, you guys are a bowling league. o You guys have been sent a summons to go visit the Gale Kingdom ah because the current ruler of the Outcast region has died.

Speaker: So the ah royal family has sent out an invitation to everyone who is able-bodied to go to the Gale Kingdom and mourn the death of the king.

Speaker: You guys have just arrived at the ceremony where the funeral is to be held. You guys see a large group of people um milling about, and in front of you is a large white castle made of marble and stone.

Speaker: There's many fancy people around you guys. Would you guys consider yourselves peasants? um ah what What kind of class would you guys consider yourselves?

Speaker: um would we like a little upper not upper class but because we have access to bowling in this realm like is sort bowling a peasant sport um great question um maybe just like whatever whatever echelon sportsmen are in yeah let's say you you guys are effective enough sportsmen that you are able to make money from your sport so i will say you guys have a little bit of money if you guys want to go with that yeah i'm gonna say we are because like richer people have like polo and all those fancy sports golf so we're we're in that realm of i'd say we're probably like

Speaker: lower middle class if that exists in this time where like bowling is sort of a niche sport in this time so we're not like big money sportsmen or anything like that but we get by yeah it's bowling just like in the real world there's not much money in bowling but you guys managed to get so

Speaker: You guys are entering the courtyard of the Royal Palace of Gale. And the big crowd around you, you see many knights riding on a horse.

Speaker: This is Pokemon. There's many knights riding around on mudsails, trying to keep the the crowd under control, as there are so many people around. In the center of the courtyard, you guys see a big, fancy, ornate coffin.

Speaker: And it seems that the ceremony is about to start. Is there anything you guys would like to do before the ceremony starts? So we have like brought condolences like flowers. You guys can if you guys would have thought of that in advance.

Speaker: We bring a bowling pin to rest along with the king. Okay, so for reference, this is 500 years before the events of PTT. What does a 500 year old bowling pin look like?

Speaker: of it is oh It is... A mushroom. It's a mushroom? No, I think it's ironwood.

Speaker: Iron of wood? Yeah. Like from... No, it's a real thing. It's of trees that the wood denser water. Okay. trees that the wood is denser than water

Speaker: So it's like, what carved ironwood? or we can carve a Sudowoodo. so be That that yeah seems mean. Wait, he just did you just suggest skidding another being alive?

Speaker: Well, I'm on the Pokemon website looking at the Pokédex, just looking for pin-like Pokemon, and the only one that I can really see is Xatu and Sudowoodoo.

Speaker: Xatu! I would argue that Bonsly is more pin-like than Sudowoodoo. I think Bonsly would fit that more.

Speaker: Bowling is just like bullying like 10 Bonsly just for no reason. like Yes, oh my god yes, I love that. And they jump up and reset themselves. i just think I just want to paint a picture. All right, 500 years ago, Bonsly wakes up in the morning, rolls out of bed. It's like, all right, honey, I got to go to work at the bowling alley. He gets to work and stands at the end of the lane just to get pummeled by bowling balls over and over. And that's just his job.

Speaker: Well, technically that makes sense because they're rock type, so we are using rollout, which is a rock type, so it's not very effective. So if they get hit, they just pretend to be knocked out, but that's why, uh, sorry, what's your character Rook, the name? Uh, Sturgill.

Speaker: Sturgill. That's why Sturgill is banned. He keeps on using water gun or something on it. It's funny. Common misconception, rock is actually neutral on rock types.

Speaker: Oh, it is? Yeah. One of the problems with the rock type, doesn't have enough resistances. Grass, water, ground, fighting, and steel.

Speaker: Wow.

Speaker: Yeah, the actors lead to a lot of things and not pretty resistant to much. Hmm, interesting. What was your character's name, Yola?

Speaker: Uh, Paulo. Paulo? Yeah. Paulo. Sometimes goes by Paul. Paul. Okay. I like that. Okay.

Speaker: Um, alright. So you guys have Bonsley with you. Just ah just a dude. You guys have brought a dude as an offering.

Speaker: So...

Speaker: This is what you guys decided on. I thought we were bringing flowers. You guys just brought my dude.

Speaker: so the uh gonna be honest i don't know how royal uh funerals work so i'm gonna the priest um is in the front of the casket and he starts giving a speech saying like please bless thy king in this holy hour while you lay to rest and yada yada an hour or so passes and the casket starts The casket starts to be lowered into the grave, and people from the crowd move up towards the casket and throw a handful of dirt over the casket.

Speaker: And as the as time goes by, the casket gets covered more and more until the crowd starts thinning, people start leaving, and it is just q three

Speaker: Oh well, it's so sad that happened, what happened to the king. Yeah, it's kind of weird. I never even heard how the king passed.

Speaker: Was it just old age or did something happen to him? Yeah, I feel like that would have been explained in the, uh, yeah, yeah, he died from old age. Natural causes. A bowling accident. He died when he was 25.

Speaker: The king broke a hip and got dysentery. Yeah, pretty much. The ripe old age of 25, because that's how long people lived back then.

Speaker: So, now that the funeral has been... almost said funeral has been proceeded. Now that the funeral is over, it is starting to get a bit dark out.

Speaker: Guess we should start looking for an inn to stay at for the night before our journey home.

Speaker: Is it yet? So guys go down the streets, there are many in to pick from. You see some very fancy hotels, ah you see some poor hotels, you see some very shady hotels.

Speaker: What kind of style hotel do you guys prefer? Well, I think we should try to stay away from the shady hotels. We are pretty well known so we don't want to get into too much trouble.

Speaker: Okay, so you guys find a pretty decent hotel, done middle class. It's called the Screaming Duck. It's got a little like a sign over the door. It's got a picture of a... Wait, what's a duck?

Speaker: A screaming ducklet? screaming ducklet. It's got a picture of a ducklet over the door. And it's well it's screaming. So you guys enter the screaming ducklet. And you guys see basically a pretty typical tavern slash inn. There's a barman. There's a shady guy in the corner.

Speaker: And there's stairs leading upwards to where the rooms are.

Speaker: So naturally, we gotta talk to the shady guy in the corner, right? Absolutely. Roll perception. Okay. oh Everyone roll perception. I'll take the highest.

Speaker: Alright. Perception is beauty. Okay. Yes. D20 plus beauty. I got a 13 total. I got 20.

Speaker: A net 20? No, I got 19 plus 1. Dirty 20. So with a dirty 20, you, Robin, whose ability is oblivious, by the way, I will remind you, ah The most oblivious of the group, you notice that the shady guy in the corner has a black hood over him. You can't really see what Pokemon it is. A bag of gold drops on the ground from from his seat.

Speaker: And he does not seem to notice immediately. Can try to walk up to the guy and introduce myself while sliding the gold underneath the table to hide it from him?

Speaker: Go ahead and roll stealth. Should be cool, I think. Yes.

Speaker: Uh...

Speaker: I think my dice is weighted. I got 21 now. Oh my god. So he doesn't notice immediately that the bag is missing. And he sees you there and he's like, why, hello there.

Speaker: Can I help you? Yes, I was wanting to know why you look so mysterious. Well, you see, my name is X and I am on a mission.

Speaker: Oh, what's your mission? And I quickly grab the gold from underneath and hide behind myself. Okay, so you guys have... What did you say your life?

Speaker: Oh, a smart move. Start off a game with stealing from someone. oh That never goes badly. Never ever. Yeah, so you guys, er, what is happening? ah so i so I stole his gold then i and asked some questions.

Speaker: Yes, so, it seems that somebody has killed my mother, and I am on a mission to figure out who who killed my mother so that I may pay him a visit.

Speaker: Oh. Do you have any clues? I do. It seems that this perpetrator lives in Castle Crowfetter. And it is my mission to venture into Castle Crowfetter and find the man who killed my mother.

Speaker: Well, you just lost out of a great opportunity. The king just died. Everyone was at the castle. Well, too bad. I guess you'll never find your killer. Bye! Excuse me?

Speaker: Hold on. Okay. And as he leaves, he starts padding around his seat and he's like, where's, where's it? Where's it? Where's it? He's like looking around frantically. He's like, you! and he points at this field.

Speaker: You stole my money! I didn't know such thing. There was just a bag of money just laying down. I just saw someone else took it. It was... I do a perception check to see what Pokemon are around? You don't need to roll a perception check. There's like a bunch of other Pokemon. There's like a Beware, there's a Psyduck, there's a Psyduck. I'll make Psyduck have an bigger headache. It was the Psyduck over there. Alright, go ahead and roll deception.

Speaker: well you're telling a pretty blatant lie it's cute uh cute uh i got 16. jesus christ he good god okay you guys really are derailing this uh so he goes up to the side okay he's like excuse me so i think you have something that i have you have something that i had English is not my first language. I need that thing back. And the Psyduck looks after him and is like, what?

Speaker: What are you talking about? I believe you have something of mine. And he picks up the Psyduck, turns him upside down, and starts shaking him. Alright, at this point, Paolo's gonna reach over to Robin and just snatch the bag of gold and toss it back.

Speaker: over towards the guy okay okay we are not thieves robin i don't know what you're doing we need to pay off for um uh i forget the name what's your name again whose name we brought the money for that already we don't need to be stealing from people We need to pay back for, uh, the Fable's, uh, bills for destroying all those Bonsleys. The medical bills are enormous.

Speaker: i I still feel bad about that. I didn't know it was going to be a hydro pump.

Speaker: I like that. So X turns over and looks at the bag of money on the ground. He's like, so that's where it went. He did steal it, you thief.

Speaker: He picks up the money off the ground. He's like, you guys seem like the adventurous type. I don't like what you guys have done. That's a type of adventurist in my eyes.

Speaker: i would like to ask you guys a favor. I'm trying to go to Castle Crowfeather and I would like some, say, bodyguards. See this bag of money here? He holds up a bag of money.

Speaker: This could be yours if you would take me to Castle Crowfeather.

Speaker: Well, technically it was already mine. So where where is this Castle Crowfeather? Castle Crowfeather, it is on the other side of the Ventus region.

Speaker: We must take a cart to get there, and then we must enter a Castle Crowfeather, venture forth, and find the the keeper of the castle. I believe it is he who killed my mother.

Speaker: Do you have any identifying features of who killed your mother? Like, say, a missing finger or something? he pulls He holds up a shuriken.

Speaker: I believe these were from the perpetrator. It seems that this guy may be Greninja. These were found on the body of my mother. Technically,

Speaker: it would be made out of water.

Speaker: I guess they are technically with their water shurikens. These ones are special. that This must be a very special Greninja that's able to freeze its shurikens.

Speaker: Sure, they're ice shurikens. Super ridiculously cold so that they don't ever melt. Okay, so the shurikens- They're made of never melt ice? and Yes. They're made of never melt ice. I like that. Beautiful.

Speaker: so he holds up the never melt ice shirk and he's like i believe my mother was killed using these it seems that my perpetrator the perpetrator is a greninja and the reninja known for killing people happens to be the keeper of raven fucking crow feather castle i could remember the name of it i would employ your help to go and siege crow feather castle

Speaker: Sounds like an interesting time. How much gold is in there? He dumps it out on the table. You may count it yourself. it is 1,500 gold. took one gold. How much did you just said 1,500. It's 1,499. took one gold.

Speaker: Oh my god. Full sleight of hand.

Speaker: ah and one thousand four hundred and ninety nine i took one gold oh my god fold sleight of hand Oh boy. It's a spiel, what hands?

Speaker: Oh yeah, roll slight slight of nubs. up It's cool. I got 10. Okay, he notices you trying to nick a coin and he flicks your nubs and the coin goes flying up into the air and he catches again and tosses on the 1500 gold. You will be staying on me until the job is completed. Agreed?

Speaker: Fine. i stole that fair and square, I will say. There is no fair and square and stievery. He scoops all the money back into the bag, pulls the bag closed, and puts it in on his pocket.

Speaker: um That just sounds like you're bad at stealing things. Well, I did steal it, but Paolo stole it from me. don't know what you're talking about. I was just returning to rightful owner.

Speaker: We need to pay off our debts. We don't have as much debt as you think we do. you're just like two dollars in the hole or something. Yeah, it's like cheap healthcare. You guys have like five dollars in debt.

Speaker: But I'm constantly trying to steal like six thousand dollars. Just steal everything that's super expensive. Robin is just a kleptomaniac that uses being in debt as an excuse.

Speaker: I'm in debt to one penny, so I must steal a thousand dollar statue. or the all great The shady figure X looks at you and is like, very well, meet me by the stables on the east side of town tomorrow morning. I'd sunrise.

Speaker: and will meet you there. We will hire a carriage and we will be off.

Speaker: All right. I will see you there. He goes up to the bar, pays off his tab, and heads out. well What this? What Pokemon was this?

Speaker: Great question. Anyway. thank you yeah thank you I never asked for what kind of... I just stole money from him.

Speaker: Okay. So we should order a room now, shouldn't we? Can I roll something to try to figure out what Pokemon it was as he's leaving?

Speaker: um sure Roll investigation. All of us are just...

Speaker: Eh, no. I got nothing. I am not rolling good. I got a four with no modifier. He's a shady person. He knows how to keep his identity hidden.

Speaker: He himself is a froakie or... Greninja. He is the Greninja. We are not the Greninja you were looking for.

Speaker: Alright, you guys can order a room by going up to the bar calendar. He lends you out your room, and there's like a big sign with a menu for like prices and stuff.

Speaker: What's on the menu? Alright, like the menu menu, or just the inn? Robin's hungry. Alright, so you got a bunch of bar food. They're selling goat burgers, sweet potato fries, and

Speaker: Um, dirty water, I guess. don't I'm trying to think of medieval things. I don't, I know sweet potato fries aren't, but yeah, bread and cheese. Five dollars meal. Hard tack.

Speaker: Hard tack. There go. Oh my God. Does the water come free with the hard tack? Bartender looks at and is like no, water's extra. Two gold.

Speaker: Uh, can I get some hardtack with some water, and can I also try and steal some gold to pay for this? Yes and no.

Speaker: In that order. Then I will just have some water. Alright. He slams down a bucket of brown water, and he's like, that'll be two gold.

Speaker: uh i'm just realizing i don't have money i mean well that's too bad and he takes the the glass and sh chugs it down himself does he get poisoned yeah don't worry the water is clean it's just we put uh brown food dye in it to make it look more appealing to those who are used to drinking dirty water I love it how they have medieval food, but a apparently future technology able to dye food color.

Speaker: Oh, I never said the food dye was modern technology. You don't want to know what's in that stuff. I'm not. Just fucking... I don't even want to say it. Since I actually remembered to bring money on this excursion, I'll take some...

Speaker: I'll take some hardtack and some water. Alright, he slams down another bucket of water and he gives you a plate of brass tacks.

Speaker: What? There is your hardtacks, sir.

Speaker: This is not the hardtack I was expecting. Oh, sorry, sorry. That was from our hardware department. Here, uh, and he slams down in a plate of food. My bad, got it mixed up.

Speaker: Thank you. Okay, how much do I owe you? That'll be seven poke. Okay, sounds good. Slide him the money. You guys need anything else? Room for the night?

Speaker: Apparently, no. Apparently not. yeah Yes, we would like a room. Alright, one room, three rooms, two rooms, how many? I see three of you here.

Speaker: Wouldn't we all like to stay in a room and cut our costs? I can just sleep on the roof, but I'm i'm fine with sharing a room. i can sleep on my donut.

Speaker: donut he still has a mega donut from the last one shot we did robin will always have a mega donut depend never or no no no rabbi will always have a meca done that no matter what age of time it is even if it's thear past or the far future cause a girl robin is like thousand years old or something that's right Well, if it's the far future, you gotta be careful. It might turn into grimy food on you.

Speaker: Well, apparently he's had this megadonor for at least 500 years. If he had it 500 years before PGT and in modern PGT times.

Speaker: That's why it can never be eaten. It's just so stale that if you try to bite into it, it just breaks your teeth. It's just a rock. It's not a donut, it's a rock.

Speaker: yeah Okay, so he hands me please he hands you a key that just says 2 on it. Room 2 upstairs, second room on the right.

Speaker: So, you guys go upstairs. It's a bare-bones room. It's got a cot in the corner. It's got a wash bucket in the corner. you know Typical Pavan in. And there's like a sleeping bag on the floor.

Speaker: So there's enough for you guys to sleep to.

Speaker: Well, Robin will throw the donut out and roll into it. alright Roll the donut out. It's like a little dog bed.

Speaker: Well, I think last time i had the donut, I said that I always wear wore it as a hat or something, and I can't remember.

Speaker: That'd be very difficult with you rolling around everywhere. i don't know. but I do remember that the donut is there to keep me from rolling around. Because it has the hole in the middle for Robin to stay in. Or can't...

Speaker: roll around in my sleep so the night passes and you guys wake up at sunrise um i take it you guys are just heading out yeah we gotta meet the guy all right you guys head out to the east side of town and eventually you guys manage to make it to the stable and you see x there in his shady garb and he is talking to a man with a cart and a horse a mudstail i guess You see him tip the ah guy some money, and he looks at you guys. He's like, all right, you guys are. All right, looks like we're ready to go.

Speaker: You guys ready? I'm ready. Yep. Yep. All set. All right.

Speaker: So you guys head up to, uh, you guys head onto the cart. You guys get it on the cart, and the mudstail takes off. You guys going down the road.

Speaker: just reading chat see you guys start heading down the road. And it is a long journey. You guys are traveling for three days and three nights.

Speaker: A lot of time passes. You guys are severely bored by the time you guys get to a bridge. Um, once each of those three days, Apollo is going to try to figure out what Pokemon this guy is.

Speaker: Sure, roll three investigation checks. Let's see. one, that one, that one. Please, God. Could i give could iig give one a shot at all? Uh, sure.

Speaker: all Alright, that is 9, an 11, and 15.

Speaker: all right and perception is beauty so i got a 16. okay so what you both of you guys can see is a long blue tail that sometimes makes its way out of the giant cloak a long tail perhaps an amora or a luxray or no it's it's humanoid

Speaker: My guess would be Inteleon. Yeah, that's a good guess. As you guys are discussing what this shady person could be, the cart suddenly jolts to a stop as is the cartright as the cart driver says, Whoa there!

Speaker: As two figures appear out carrying daggers, it seems that you guys are being assailed by bandits. You see these two bandits, they are both morgrims.

Speaker: Little demon looking things carrying knives, and they are looking hungrily at the money pouch on the side of X. Paolo's gonna jump out of the cart, and as he lands, use bulldoze.

Speaker: Bulldoze? Okay, so you want to immediately start combat? Yeah. Alright, I'll give you a surprise ah a surprise action for that. ah So, go ahead and roll

Speaker: Are you trying to hit the... The Morghams are... One's on the left side, one's on the right side of the cart. Which one are you hitting? Oh, kind of. I was planning on hitting both because Bulldoze is a spread move.

Speaker: Uh, no, that that's fine. That's fine. Uh, bulldoze. Just like bulldoze around the cart.

Speaker: Uh, yeah, let's do it. Okay. so I was the about the same way. I also hit the cart. Is it a spread move? It doesn't say it's a spread move in here. It just says full speed minus two.

Speaker: Oh, if effect roll one. Oh, so that means all exists. Yeah, well that's because it it always reduces speed. So yeah, that's what the effect role is if it hits it reduces speed.

Speaker: Okay, so

Speaker: Are you sure it's a multi attack or on a spread move? You go to the move on Bulbapedia, it goes range. Ah, I see. Yep. It's yeah one in front and one to the left. Okay.

Speaker: Gotcha. Yep. Yep. Yeah, that's fine. Okay. Oh, it could be a Lucario.

Speaker: Sorry, I'm still looking at the... Craylu doesn't have a long tail. No, no, love that. I love that. Yeah, it does. It does have a tail. Well, it has a tail, just not a long one. Like Craylu?

Speaker: Well, Lucario has somewhat of the tail.

Speaker: It loses its tail in its mega forms, apparently. Oh, it has a longer tail than I remember it having. thought it had like a little nub tail. Apparently not.

Speaker: Well, I got an 18 on my bulldoze. Okay, 18 will hit. So go ahead and roll damage. That is 2d6 plus 8. Is the damage split between the two, or is it per...

Speaker: oh I don't remember how it works in this system. I am seeing the damage of it. It is about the same damage as a regular move. I'm going to say it spreads between the two. Otherwise, that would be insanely overpowered.

Speaker: yeah but those yeah in the normal games, it's

Speaker: it's i think sixty six percent once red moves hit both pokemon okay like ah the total damage i don't remember how it works in the mystery dungeon games yeah no if that's fine we can do that uh two-thirds that's fine yeah okay ahead and roll damage since your move hit both Okay, i rolled 4 and 6, that'll 10, plus attack set of

Speaker: make that thirty five so thirty five times point six six is that's twelve so minus twelve is 23 damage each. Yeah.

Speaker: yep so ma Wait, it's what move? It's a ground type move. It's a ground type move. so It doesn't affect. They're dark fairies, so minus 23 and minus 23. Get out of here, Taskbar. Oh, okay.

Speaker: That's actually perfect because they're about to go. Alright, so... with that let us start initiative all right so uh i'm gonna pull my docs real quick and okay so

Speaker: all right so everyone go ahead and roll d speed or hit f9 and see what your uh speed roll comes out as

Speaker: Oh, well, I got a one. I got three. Okay, hold on. also got a one. oh my god. Eli won. Jacob, three.

Speaker: yeah And Rook, one. So we have a three-way tie. Because Morgrem also rolled a one. jeez. So go ahead go ahead and roll again.

Speaker: a Are we not doing the standard new initiative? What do you mean? Where we do the group initiative? No, we got rid of that in R4, remember? Oh, right, we did.

Speaker: No, I don't remember, but okay. Okay, that's fine. Do we have another roll off? Yeah, reroll. I got a three this time. got a ten. And then you're tied with me.

Speaker: Yep. All right, you got a three and you got a ten, so you're definitely one first. All right, so you guys can either roll off between each other or you guys can just pick one to go first.

Speaker: You can go first since I already got my sp surprise attack in. all right. right. All let me get... right, let me get the initiative down. So we have Rook first.

Speaker: Then we have Jacob, Eli, and then Q.

Speaker: Oh, did you just roll for both the Morgrem? Yes. Together instead of separately? Okay. No, no, I did them separately. Okay. Okay, so first it is All right. All right, are you familiar with how combat works?

Speaker: Uh, action, bonus action, reaction type thing. Yes, ah we don't have reactions, so it's just action and bonus action. You can do your bonus action first if you want.

Speaker: So, OK, just make sure I'm understanding so I can do a regular move and then another move that I can use as a bonus action. Yes. All right. And does range matter in this system or there's no movement in the system?

Speaker: OK, cool. And that case, can I use the same move twice? ah Yeah. All right, when you use it as a special ah when you use as a bonus ta ah action, it will be half effective.

Speaker: I have a question about that. If we have like a status effect, like offering back heals permanently combat ah he for for HP each turn.

Speaker: And we use that as a bonus action. It would heal but... I would say it heals D4 over 2. I mean, same difference, really. Yeah.

Speaker: But would it... If I use Aqua Ring as my bonus action, and then the next turn use Aqua Ring as my primary action, would I get two things a lock of Aqua Ring, or would it... No. Aqua Ring only takes effect once.

Speaker: Yeah, but... It heals if it's already in use. So I never want to use Hugga Ring as a bonus action. got it. All right. I'm sorry.

Speaker: No, it's fine. Go ahead. Does protect fall under the half as effective thing? And if so, what does that do? protect would be a reaction. We don't do reactions.

Speaker: I thought we did for the protect and detect... when get your next like It takes your next bonus action away. ah We can do that if you want.

Speaker: I thought we had talked about that at some point. I'm not sure, but we can do that.

Speaker: Alright. So Protect, if he uses a bonus action, uses your current bonus action and your next bonus action? Is that what your proposal is? So when you're attacked, you can use Protect and you don't get a bonus action on your next turn. Gotcha. Okay.

Speaker: Okay. Yeah, we can do that. Alright. Alright. I would like to open up with a Disarming voice on one of the... with Morgrem, right?

Speaker: Yes, there's two more Grims. Alright, Okay. So, Disarming Voice always hits.

Speaker: Uh, roll for crit. And that's just... That's just a d20. Okay, just a raw d20. That is a... Six.

Speaker: Fun fact, Disarming Voice is also a spread move. Is it? Oh, yeah. yes oh yeah I think all voice, no. Most voice moves are thread moves, yes. Yeah, I was thinking of round, but that one I know isn't, I think.

Speaker: I actually, i one of the things, I grabbed a sound base move because I know some sound base moves hit around things like substitute protect. Not protect, sorry, substitute. It hits around substitute. Yeah.

Speaker: I don't know if that's going to come up, but I thought it'd be helpful. OK. OK, so do I roll 1D or 1D8 plus 6 twice or do it once and they both take it? Just once and then you'll and then if you do 66% damage to both of them.

Speaker: All right, so 1D8 plus 6 plus my special attack, which is 12. 18 plus

Speaker: so eighteen plus wendy eight

Speaker: uh tour four for a total 22 okay so it's 22 and what type is uh fairy so that's super effective on morgram they're dark fairy so yes how does that work um yeah it's super effective okay Alright, so that's 22 by 66% is... oh What? Okay.

Speaker: I was looking up how spread moves work. It looks like they're reduced by 25%, not 33%. not thirty three percent Okay, we can do that instead then. Alright, so... 75% that. It is so... Round down is So is seventeen times two is thirty four so thirty four on both yep thirty four damage to both You hit them with these this big disarming attack and they are very- they're like holding their hands up to their ears. They're very- they're not stunned, but they're clearly in pain from the sound of your voice.

Speaker: And with that, it is Jacob's turn. Oh, I didn't use my bonus action. You did not use your bonus action. It is Rook's turn. I always forget that bonus actions exist. I would like to go ahead and just use Premptively Protect as my bonus action.

Speaker: Okay, gotcha. So you can use Protect. It will take your current act your bonus action and your next bonus action. Oh, use okay. Well... well Yeah, pick well, protect is a reaction now, so when you're attacked, you can use protect, and that's... Okay, I yeah i misunderstood.

Speaker: I thought it was either or. Misunderstood, too. Okay. All right, in that case, then, I would like to check out as a bonus action a metronome. Okay. All right.

Speaker: Will I be Let's 500 move 594 is you're gonna have wait cuz I gotta scroll off 594. let's see. Let's explosion 594 poison gas It is look you have to wait cause i gotta scroll off five hundred and ninety four <unk>s see let's see explosion five hundred and ninety four is poison gas it is it is an you're super effective and just a poison coach and o does not be damage it just Poisons so which one did you hit by the way the left or the right one with poison gas? ah

Speaker: I I didn't think the target because I could have been um like a any I'll hit the the one the left. Okay. All right, so this guy is now poisoned. What does poison do? Okay

Speaker: okay i um Is it at the end of each player turn or at their turn? At the end of their turn. Yeah. Alright, Jacob, it's your turn.

Speaker: Alright. I would like to target the Grimshmo that's not poison with a Brine.

Speaker: Okay. Alright, that is the one on the right. So two d six

Speaker: Oh, do I have to roll accuracy first? Yes, you do. Roll a and you have to meet or beat your accuracy, which is next to your damage. Oh, so 6. Okay.

Speaker: So d20... 13! I hit. all alright ah So... I will say did not pay attention to how damage is calculated. So you see where says damage? It's your...

Speaker: So you've rolled that. And then you add 14. Okay. okay So is it a physical or special move? Special. going to add your special attack to that. Okay.

Speaker: Where it says current stats, you'll add that number.

Speaker: All right. So 27. All right. 27. I believe that is neutral because they are not below half health. And it's water. What? what What? They're not?

Speaker: I thought they were.

Speaker: Actually hold on one second Actually, no they are below half health was about to say they took a huge super effective hit. Yeah, just they're just barely below half health, but yes they are So that's 27 times 2 is 54, right?

Speaker: uh if foe is below uh 50 base damage is plus three so it's not times oh plus three so it it changes the the dice roll it doesn't change the damage okay so real quick what is what is the base power of crime uh the base power is the damage no it should say power

Speaker: It's next to your damage. Oh, seven, sorry. i' Seven? Jesus. So it jumps up to 10, which is 3d8 plus 10. So you go roll 3d8 plus 10. And then add your special attack. 11 plus 13 is 24.

Speaker: thirteen is twenty four Okay. You actually did less damage somehow. Wait. Oh, but it's because one of my rolls were e ones Okay, so... Oh, wait, I forgot to add the... third I forgot to add the plus 10, so it is... 34. 34, yes. Sorry. All right, 34 times 2 No, there's not times 2. The base damage increase is... Oh, I literally just forgot that, Jesus. ah So minus... Hey, that's the same damage you took before.

Speaker: that's funny yeah it is uh so he is looking severely hurt at this point and he's like tossing his dagger side to side between his hands nervously he's looking around as if he's like wondering if he's gonna actually win this fight uh jacob you have your bonus action uh i will do roll out against him Okay, are you sure? If you use rollout, all future rollouts will also be halved as it accumulates power.

Speaker: Until he is knocked out. Okay. Sounds like it's soon. Okay, go ahead and roll ah for a rollout. Okay. 20 is... Oh, I missed.

Speaker: Ah, okay. Okay, so with that, it will go to Eli. Alright, Polly... er, uh, Paolo is going to use a defense curl as a bonus action.

Speaker: Increases defense by one, and then he's going to go into rollout for his main action.

Speaker: Um, the the one that's poisoned. Okay.

Speaker: And miss, because I rolled a two. up nice

Speaker: okay so that will be your action it is now morgram left turn and he is going he is going to go for a swagger on ah robin so you are going to be confused but you also get an attack plus four

Speaker: Uh, confusion is That would be counted as taunted, right? No. Okay, I didn't know if it was like... Swagger... as the actual Pokemon move.

Speaker: Or not, so... Okay. You were confused for d6 turns, so go ahead and roll a d6. I think you roll it. I mean, it doesn't matter.

Speaker: Yeah, it is. 3. So you're confused for three turns. um It says if your res... So roll a dice when you attack.

Speaker: If the result is even, the attack works. If it... If odd, roll... Just cuts off. Oh, that's up here. if If it's even, your attack works. If it is odd, roll damage and take half.

Speaker: You do not add attack or special attack.

Speaker: And it has herself. Okay. I'm actually pretty good to use it on rollout because has a low power. Okay.

Speaker: Alright, so it is now... That was his main attack. So now he's going for...

Speaker: Oh, he is going to go for a bonus action draining kiss on whatever Rook's character is called. Sturgill. Sturgill. So could I use the the protect then as the reaction? Yes.

Speaker: Yeah, you can. And that'll proc. So your next bonus action will be taken up as a result and you take no damage. He goes for a draining kiss and a magic shield appears in front of you, blocking all damage. No cooties.

Speaker: No cooties. and With that, it is now the other Morgrem's turn. He is going to, because I'm petty and stupid, I'm going to go for a draining kiss on Sturgill as my main action.

Speaker: Because he's very low on alpha, it's actually the most strategic thing to do. So, he's going to roll a 1d8 plus 8 if I had my d8 out.

Speaker: Does Protect stop everything for our turn or just like the first thing? That's actually great question. It should be everything. is it It might actually, because if that's the case, then that would influence what might would I do to this turn.

Speaker: I know when I played doubles for a bit, Protect would block multiple things, but I didn't know how it was in this system. Yeah, I think this is actually the first time anyone's used Protect in our system. no So that's right that's why we're trying to figure things out here.

Speaker: Oh. The Protect blocks all attacks aimed at the user for that turn, including multiple attacks on our opponent in double battles. Okay, that influences what I'm going to do this turn. He's going to go for a Draining Kiss on Apollo instead. Okay.

Speaker: So, that's 1d8 roll to 5, plus 8 is 13. actually have to roll accuracy first. That's what I asked about that. so that's 13 plus his special special attack is seven it has 20. uh and it is a fairy type move which does not affect you so that is 20 damage minus your special defense my special defense is 16 so that's four damage okay so he's gonna heal for three damage

Speaker: It says you recover roughly three-quarter damage dealt to foe. great cook So plus 30. sorry Okay, and as his bonus action, he is going to use Swagger on... He's going to use it on Paulo again.

Speaker: So you are confused. Did you roll for that by any chance? ah It is an accuracy of nine, yes. with a nine you will hit okay uh so you are confused for d6 divided by two turns and your attack is plus two plus four uh it's used as a bonus action oh oh that's right i don't hmm interesting That seems kind of BS, I will say, because you get the full extent of the confusion, but That's why it's... No, it's D6 divided by 2. Oh, then... Yeah, I guess it makes sense.

Speaker: Then I should be confused for 1.5 turns. I did not hear that. No, because he used Swagger as his full action on you. Oh, then I should have put four in mine. Sorry.

Speaker: I put two in mine thinking that's what i it was. Whoops. Oh, okay. I thought he used it as his bonus. Sorry. No, he uses it as a full action on your for you and a bonus action for your way. So, yeah. go Okay, so so I got a four, so I'm confused for two turns.

Speaker: And you'll get plus two to your attack. Yep. Physical attack. All right. It will now wrap around Sturgill. Rook, it is your turn. All right. I think I'm going hit him with another disarming voice because that went pretty well.

Speaker: All right. So rolling for crit. That is another six. OK. So that is same calculations as before. So 18 plus D8. Where'd my D8 go? i have like three of them.

Speaker: Four.

Speaker: And it cuts. Okay, there we go. 5 plus 18 is 23. And then minus, would you say it was like?

Speaker: it cuts it by a quarter. yeah so 18 or me say 20 would he say 23 yeah

Speaker: five then eleven point five is five point seven five so round down to five eighteen damage

Speaker: that's eighteen damage minus its special defense

Speaker: Alright, oh I hold on i didn't know I did add my thing because that's where the 18 came from whoopsies Okay, it's special. It's special attack. right Yeah Okay, so it's 18 times to this 36 minus a special defense of 15 Which is was that 21 21 damage Which is actually enough to knock him out So the Morgram on the right falls over, collapsed.

Speaker: Dagger falls out of his hand. and He's laying on the ground. The Morgram on the left looks pretty panicked at this point, and he's not doing too hot. And your bonus action is up.

Speaker: That's half one. Oh, you don't have a bonus action. Yeah, mine got eaten by the protector. So it is now. Whose turn? It's Jacob's turn. all right uh what was the confusion roll i just roll any dice roll any dice even your attack goes through odd you do damage to yourself so you have to decide what move you're using first uh brian okay all right so go ahead and roll any dice i got two oh so it's even it'll go through all right all right and now have to do accuracy yes and i have to do accuracy

Speaker: 11 hit. Yep, that'll hit. And so 2d6.

Speaker: And he is below, so it's three d eight Okay, yeah, 38 plus 10? and Is that what it was? Yeah. yeah

Speaker: Okay. Uh, so 29 plus 13 42. or each chain 42. Jesus Christ. Okay, minus 42. He is hanging on with the barest strength.

Speaker: He looks like he's about to die at any second.

Speaker: Alright, well, let's let's throw some rocks at him then. Hey, wait, was that your bonus action? oh Oh, no. ah actually I will do Brine again. Alright, go ahead and roll for your confusion.

Speaker: That shouldn't be a bonus action duplicable move. Actually, I don't think it is. Oh, no, you're right, sorry. oh I will use...

Speaker: rollout. Okay. And I rolled a 16, so that's even. Roll another one, and that's a 14 that hits.

Speaker: Alright. oh Uh, 1d6, plus 5. I'm gonna be honest, you don't have to calculate damage. He only has 5 HP. Alright, yeah, I already do- So that plus 5 HP immediately kills him. You can still calculate it if you want.

Speaker: Eh, I deal like 12 damage to him, I guess. Alright. I'll wait. Yeah. I do like 24, so. Okay, so the ah the Morgrams fall to the ground, and you know, I realize didn't actually participate in this fight, but I guess that's fine, because you are his hired bodyguards.

Speaker: Mm-hmm. so And for being an Inteleon, he's quite useless in a fight. You don't know that he's an Inteleon? he's not a Lucario, obviously. You don't know that either.

Speaker: He's either a Lucario or Inteleon. There's other options, too. Not really. There isn't that many Pokemon with blue tails. i don't know. Maybe he's like a Mankey that's painted blue. Who knows?

Speaker: i would call them he would have to shiny ekins shi and all tail it's you he said it was humanoid It's a really long Ekans.

Speaker: Ekans under a trench coat. with the With the bandits defeated, the cart moves forward once again. And x thanks you guys for your bodyguardsmanship.

Speaker: And with that, I am going to take a break because I need to use the restroom real quick. You guys can you that i do some... What do you got? I will say that we should probably look on the Thieves' bodies for gold and stuff, because They were originally trying to steal stuff, so they probably had stuff on them. Sure, sure, we can do that. um So you go and you loot both the bodies. You find both the daggers that they that they were carrying. They're simple steel daggers. And on each of their bodies, you find... On one of them, you find 60 gold, and on the other, you find 75 gold.

Speaker: My debt is solved! Yay! Yay! We can go home! We can go home! We don't need to do this mission anymore. Alright, I'm gonna let the cart forwards.

Speaker: Over the horizon, you guys see the black castle of Castle Crowfeather. And X finally looks his head says, There it is, Castle Crowfeather.

Speaker: This is where we will find the man who killed my mother.

Speaker: Does he reveal himself when he looks up? Uh, no, he doesn't. He's still wearing his shady cloak. and Just casually try and pull it down. As you

Speaker: as you guys get closer, the ah drawbridge automatically lowers to let eat the cart in. The cart driver's like, oh, I ain't going in there. You guys get to walk outside if you want to go.

Speaker: And he stops the cart right outside the drawbridge.

Speaker: Can you tell us anything about what's in there that you're so afraid to go in there? It's an evil looking castle. That's not... Do I need to say more?

Speaker: don't... It's not that evil looking. It just, like, needs some paint. It's about as evil looking as any other castle I've seen. It's going to need a lot more than paint to get rid of that evil vibe.

Speaker: I think you might just be biased. Do we need to talk about that, buddy? No, you guys paid me to come to Castle Ravenloft. Castle Ravenloft.

Speaker: It's Strahd, it's you!

Speaker: No, this is not Faerun. Uh... No, that's Barovia. Whatever it is. guys You guys paid me to come to Castle Crowfeather. You did not pay me to go into Castle Crowfeather. This is where we stop. We have made it to Castle Crowfeather.

Speaker: Please pay to. Yes, you guys are here.

Speaker: I don't remember paying you. Oh well. Yeah, took care of- I'm sure Axe gave it to him. Oh, Axe paid him. Yeah. hey see you Can I roll for like intuition or insight or something on the castle to- Uh, sure. Go ahead and roll insight on the castle to see if the castle's keeping any secrets from you. Oh.

Speaker: Oh. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I get a 7 plus 1, 8. Okay, the castle is, uh, well, you can definitely tell it's more, it's held by someone who wants to exude great power.

Speaker: The person inside this castle is someone of power, is basically what I'm saying. Hmm. Okay, more than I was expecting to get. don't know.

Speaker: It's better than nothing. Huh. So and we might have a stronger foe on our hands. The cart driver whips the Mudsdale and has the cart turn around and heads back in the opposite direction.

Speaker: Well, how are we going to get back? We can always just roll out of here. Ooh.

Speaker: So I guess let's head into the castle to see where this Greninja is. Okay. The gate at the end of the drawbridge opens as you guys get closer.

Speaker: And you see a big dark entrance.

Speaker: As you guys enter a Castle Crowfeather, it's a very strange interior. Instead of there being like hallways or whatever, there's one big room.

Speaker: In the middle of the floor, you see a number pad. Oh no I heard whispers on the wind of dividing by five.

Speaker: Just drops my knees and screams at the sky.

Speaker: A stone screen comes down from the ceiling.

Speaker: And it had... I'm going to send you guys the message, but this is what it says. Also, it flickers real quick. It says no calculator. You guys must solve this with mental math. me there's a massive ah There's a massive keypad on the ground made of big stone buttons that you guys can jump across.

Speaker: And an enter key. Enter and a clear key, I should say. Okay. Wait, it's i got already solved, right? link Yeah. Step on the nine?

Speaker: Nine. who That took me a second. I was like, hey, wait. Is there supposed be variable in there or something? Because this is just a solved equation here. For the audience, he sent us in our chat, 50 times 18 divided by 5, close parentheses, not really needed, divided by 2, equals

Speaker: Yeah, it's all multiplication. These aren't needed, but it is funny. Oh, I did not mean to send you guys the answer. Hold on, just delete it real fast we'll forget.

Speaker: Jesus Christ. I tripped and followed on the nine anyway. Oh fucking Christ. all Alright.

Speaker: I could've done that anyways. It's simple enough. You've got 50 times 18 divided by 5, which is the same- well, the answer's also wrong. What you mean it's wrong? It's Yeah, it's 9D, because 50 divided by is times is divided by two is ninety times eighteen divided by 5 divided by 2 is shit, it's 90.

Speaker: Is there a zero key on the number, fam? Yes, yes, there is. and There you go. Yay, we did it. We did We passed.

Speaker: I have a feeling if we jump on the nine and the zero, it's going to give us incorrect password because the password was put in wrong. well

Speaker: It's not our fault. It's the designers. Whoever built this castle, you know? Yeah.

Speaker: They spend too much time actually building. They couldn't pay someone to do the math for them. All right, I'm generating a new math equation. Hold Arabic numerals hadn't been invented yet. Don't worry about it.

Speaker: Yes, they had. In Pokemon World?

Speaker: Actually, are there?

Speaker: In characters, it's just like feet runes or whatever it is. There are like little symbols in the Pokemon world. There we go. Okay. Hold on one second. I can only do so much math in here. I might use my ears at the same time. Okay.

Speaker: What did you guys just say? we said you suck i know but we said nothing important you didn't actually have to be listening to us okay okay the uh there were three uh like on the stone screen there were three check marks that you had to check off there are now four check marks so you have to check off oh so you guys answer correctly the answer is 90.

Speaker: um

Speaker: Double check your math. Yeah, I don't feel like it. Alright. The second equation pops up on the screen and it says once again no calculators.

Speaker: Okay. And it is open parenthesis 18 times 4 minus 2 close parenthesis divided by 5. Okay, the parenthesis were actually needed this time. I know. Temdas is a thing. Okay.

Speaker: Alright, so we got 72 minus 2, 70 divided by 5. Wait,

Speaker: this is wrong. 70 divided by 5, we're gonna be 14. but think I did it wrong again. It's a decimal.

Speaker: It's not a decimal. It's not late. Oh no, I did it right. 18 times 4 is 72. Minus 2 70. Divide by 5 is 14. Alright, so you're going to try and punch in 14?

Speaker: Yeah. Alright, you jump across the number pad, pressing 1 to 4, then enter, and a green checkmark appears.

Speaker: Yay, math. I like math.

Speaker: Alright. Hold on one second. um I'm gonna make this just a tad harder. Oh no. Oh no, he's gonna add the exponent part of Penndoth.

Speaker: Please excuse my dear Aunt Sally. um we I haven't been answering these because I'm just awful at math. yes Okay, I can't do that because that would be literally fucking impossible for you guys to do mental math. I was going to bring out a square root and then I realized the answer was 10,679,824.

Speaker: Yeah, I need at least

Speaker: piece of paper for those types of ones. I realized, wait a minute, that's impossible to do mental math. Okay, so... can do square roots up to like 225.

Speaker: Yes, same, but ah not not... Okay, so the third e equation pops up on the screen, and it is as follows. Open parentheses. 58 times divided by minus by 15. Okay.

Speaker: close parentheses divided by fifteen

Speaker: Jeez. Okay. I did the last one. You guys can do this one. Hold on, let me... I need a piece of paper.

Speaker: Oh, I thought you were to hold on, let me get a calculator. cal... Yeah. times 13 is hard. Yeah. just trying to visualize the fifty eight times thirteen is

Speaker: If you can't tell, these are getting harder with each equation. Yeah. Yep. I mean, the first one was already hard, even though it was solved. Yeah, the first one was the easiest because it took no effort.

Speaker: It was also wrong. did end up taking effort because the answer given was wrong. Seven... Wait. Is it 731 or something?

Speaker: Is that your final answer? No, but just the 58 times 13. Oh. Because without paper, I can't make sure that I don't double count or something. Hold on, let me... It just said no calculator, so we are allowed to use paper.

Speaker: Yes, you can use you guys can use stone and chisel if you guys wish. I have no paper on me. Okay, let me grab out my piece of paper here. Jake, you have a drawing tablet right in front of you.

Speaker: Well, then I have to open up my program and I haven't opened that thing in so long. It probably needs to update. I mean, Microsoft Paint. Critta. Wait.

Speaker: Well, I mean, I just talked about just using Microsoft Paint instead. Oh. ah I use Critta. Yeah, it's... You were saying 754? 754 or something? Yeah. I got right! Divided by 10... Wait, 754, that is a decimal!

Speaker: Okay, 754 divided by 10 is... 70...

Speaker: seven hundred hundred and fifty four that is a decimal

Speaker: Wait, 75.404 times

Speaker: five answer is 5. Okay, you gonna go and put that in? Yeah. Alright. so So, you go ahead and jump on the number 5, and then the number Enter, and a green checkmark appears.

Speaker: Yeah, as as soon as they've figured out the multiplication part, that's the hardest part, is just getting the fucking big numbers in your head. Alright, you guys fun with this one.

Speaker: The last equation and pops up on the screen, and it is as follows. Open parentheses. 18 times 19 divided by 2. Close parentheses. Plus 1.

Speaker: Open parentheses. 38 divided by 2. Close parentheses. This time i got my drawing thing working. I have a feeling you don't have as many parentheses in there as you want there to be. Well...

Speaker: Because currently that plus one is not doing anything because it's plus one times 38 over two. Yeah, it's one times 38 over two. It's an exponent, not exponent, but it's distributive.

Speaker: Yeah. Oh, I see that. Yeah. It's been a long time since I've been high school. ah Let me see if I can solve this problem. I'm going to solve this problem myself because I have the wrong answer, obviously. Yep.

Speaker: Okay, I got it. What do you got? I got 190.

Speaker: ah got it what do you got yet

Speaker: I mean... I got 3,268. Dude, that's definitely not right.

Speaker: I don't know anymore. he guys have me self-doubting myself. I'm checking...

Speaker: And you're right, that's because I don't have enough parentheses in here for what I was trying to do. oh Yeah. yep Yeah, you wanted another set of parentheses around the first expression and the plus one. Yes, yep, exactly it. And then you get a nice big number instead of 190. I gotta solve this myself now using my calculator. Yeah, it's 199.

Speaker: What? I got 199. I got what don't think so. Hmm. Ouch. don't think so

Speaker: So that just condenses down to 14. So that'd just be plus 1 times 14. Oh, wait. Oh, yeah, no. Yep. Plus 19. 190. Yep. Yep.

Speaker: I got 185. I do. 199 is my answer. We all got different answers. What? How did you get 185? All right, I'm just going to share my screen.

Speaker: It's the final question, so I don't care if I share my screen. Hold on. Uh...

Speaker: I feel like I might be doing something wrong, but hold on. Alright.

Speaker: This is my calculator. How did you 171? Yeah, oh, that's why. Because you're doing plus 14 instead of plus 19. 38 divided 2 is Yeah, it's supposed to be 1... Wait. it's 18... So hold yeah It's 18 times 19 divided by 2, right?

Speaker: so it's eighteen so hold on it's eighteen times nineteen divided by two right So that gets 171. And then 38 divided by 2 is 14. 38 divided by 2 is 19. It's 19! Ah, shit! And 19 times 1 just 19. So plus 19. Yep, it's 190. It's 190, not 3,268. Okay.

Speaker: and nineteen times one is just nineteen so plus nineteen yeah it's one night one ninety and it's one ninety not three thousand two hundred and sixty eight

Speaker: I don't know how I got an extra nine... I don't know. I don't know how I can't do meth either. Okay, so Paolo just goes over and whispers to Sturgill, It's 190! Push 190!

Speaker: push for ninety Yeah, Sturgill very carefully steps on each of the buttons. to the They're on the floor, right?

Speaker: Yes. Yeah, okay, so steps on each of the buttons to to put in 190. Okay, as you hit enter, the last checkmark appears, and the door that you haven't seen opens up at the end. It's like a a sliding door. it looked like it was a wall, but turns out it was a door.

Speaker: The wall at the end of the large room slides aside, and you see a big throne room. I was gonna say... What?

Speaker: Go ahead. Okay, as I was gonna say, velvet carpet in the throne room leading up to a big stone chair with someone sitting inside.

Speaker: ah Robin will roll across the numbers and on the big board another green check mark will up appear. It just turns out that if you just press any of the numbers it will always be correct. The system's just flawed.

Speaker: Why not? so No matter what numbers you put in there's always going to be a green check mark. So a fifth check mark appears and the doors open extra wide now.

Speaker: The doors just break into the walls.

Speaker: Okay. Go two, four, and they clip inside. They're clipping their fucking Gmod clipping. The Z fighting starts.

Speaker: Okay. All four of you guys are now standing before the man on the throne. As he starts walking down the stairs towards- from the chair to where you guys are standing.

Speaker: What- and what is he? He is a Greninja. Aye, you're right.

Speaker: As he starts walking down, X moves up to him and he says, Hey, my bro! And he puts an arm around Greninja.

Speaker: I knew I should stole his money. they are clearly great friends.

Speaker: so he turned the uh the guy in the shady uh cloak x he turns around hand in hand with uh this greninja he flips down his hood and he is an intellion because you guys actually did guess correctly hey nice it was either that lucario there's literally no humanoids with blue tails yeah cleonza He says, thank you guys for helping me.

Speaker: could have been a color-changed Gecleon, but... Well, it could also be Bion or Mesprit or something like that, but I don't think we're meeting legendaries and mythicals.

Speaker: I thought Azoth was a blue one. Uh... Yeah. We're all somewhat blue. oh but i Well, none of the tails are exactly blue. Yeah, they're they're just kind of blue. with well I was also thinking maybe it was a merrill or a sumerrill, but it's more so it has a blue ball, not a blue tail. it's yeah The tail is blue, but it's mostly just black with a blue ball on it.

Speaker: Yeah, Inteleon definitely made the most sense. And that just happened to be the right one. Either that or Lucario or Riolu.

Speaker: The Inteleon looks back at you guys like, hey, thanks for ah taking me here. I wasn't sure how dangerous the traps were going to be in this castle. Well, he wasn't exactly expecting me today, so I figured I could use a little bit extra help.

Speaker: So, anyway, thanks for nothing. we I got here safely, and now I can pay off my hitman. And he hands the $1,500 to the Greninja.

Speaker: Hey, that's supposed to be ours. Yeah, you really thought I was going to give you that money. Especially after you tried stealing it from me. you see Oh, I didn't steal it from you. Hey, I gave it back to you.

Speaker: We could have been out of there. You would have never seen us again. Hey, what in Rotten Fruit spoils a bunch, you know what they say. I can't trust in none you guys. So... I give an evil look towards Hollow.

Speaker: Hey, I already told you, we're not thieves. don't know what's gotten into you lately.

Speaker: We are honest bowlers. And I think we've just found ourselves a couple pins. Yeah. Let's pin him down. The Intellion says, would you like me to explain what is going on here? Nah, we understand you killed someone. we have more choice?

Speaker: I mean, I guess you do. It'd be more satisfying for you and the look straight at the camera. The audience, if you heard me out. Nah, we don't want to. We already know you killed the king.

Speaker: What? No, i didn't kill the king. I'm pretty sure you killed the king. yeah No, I didn't kill the king. He died at such an old age 25.

Speaker: I know, he was ancient. And my mom died last week. We know, you hired them. Yes, I... Point at the other guy. Yeah, okay.

Speaker: Do you want me to explain, or do you want to be left in ignorance as you die? You can tell us while you're dying. Alright, I'll take that as I'm telling you right now. Anyway, so... The DM will tell you the story.

Speaker: guys aren't getting me out of another monologue. This happened in Arc 3. guys are not getting out of this. That was why asked if you had a if we had a choice.

Speaker: No, you do not have a choice. That was a direct reference. No, you guys do not have a choice. That was the joke. You missed it. If you're going to tell us first, do we have snacks we can sit down and just listen so we can focus?

Speaker: Yeah, i it kind of hard to yeah there's ah there's a popcorn machine in the corner for monologuing purposes. So if you guys would like to take a minute, go get some popcorn. ah Robin will use rest.

Speaker: Okay, so as you guys go over to the popcorn concession stand, there's a, uh, there is a Fampy in there, and, uh, you're already Fampy. Yeah, let's go Fampy. There's a Fampy there. He's like, hi, welcome to the Popcorn Emporium for all of your monologuing needs. We got popcorn of all sizes, we got drinks, we got snacks. What do you guys want?

Speaker: Do you have some white cheddar? Uh, like powder for popcorn or just straight up cheese? Uh, both. I want to put white, uh, the powder on my cheese.

Speaker: Uh, do not have straight cheese, but I do have some white cheddar popcorn dust. What if you squish the dust together really, really hard? i mean Does anybody anybody have, like, crush or something?

Speaker: Yeah, he he gives you guys a bottle of popcorn dust. You guys have rollout. That's not... ah How about defense curl? Would that compress it?

Speaker: i I mean, sure. Let's let's go for it. You guys can use defense curl and like squish against each other to compress it. Like two boulders running into each other. Come join us, Sturgill. See if that can... Your metronome will help us.

Speaker: Alright. Okay, go ahead. I guess I'll ah roll for Metronome then. Oh my god. I hope for explosion and we just blow up the entire castle. if We don't even do a battle. It's move 623. Inside out siege.

Speaker: Psychic noise. What? would it What is that? nobody it is a 75 power move. Deals damage and prevents target from healing.

Speaker: Oh. Oh. oh always does None of you guys can heal for now. No! That's my whole gimmick. That includes the enemies over there.

Speaker: Oh. Everyone in the room can no longer heal. You use Psychic Noise, deals damage, and prevents the target from healing. I'll negate the damage part, because you're not actively aiming at anyone.

Speaker: So, half of my moveset is useless. It only lasts a couple turns, I think. Oh, you said no one can heal. i don't know one I don't know, it just says prevents target from healing, foe cannot heal with moves, abilities, or berries.

Speaker: doesn't say that long. That sounds a... It's two turns. Oh, really? It sounded like a permanent, like a till fated or... We'll go with the first two turns of battle that are surely upcoming.

Speaker: up So, yeah the immediate effect is as Robin and... um What is his name? Not Polyps.

Speaker: Polo. Sturgill? Oh. Polo. Polo. As Robin and Polo smash against each other, you guys manage to create a block of extra salty cheese.

Speaker: Yummy. And after that... Now can enjoy this monologue. Yep. Polo just goes over to the other fan and be, oh, hey, bro. Howdy. Can I get some kettle corn and pretzels, please?

Speaker: Yeah, yeah. Here you go. And he hands you some popcorn and pretzels. Oh, they have pretzels, but they don't have cheese? What ripoff. Can you see him, like, drizzling cheese on the pretzel?

Speaker: Yep, because it's liquid cheese. They don't have solid cheese. Well, I'm an ice type. I should be able to freeze it or something.

Speaker: He overhears do you want to try? I don't have an ice type move. Oh, okay. Maybe next time. Roll out the fence, girl, Brian. I can make it extra watery. Alright, what about you? He's just pointing at Sturgill. Uh, I'll take a pretzel as well.

Speaker: Alright, he hands you a pretzel. do anyway You want any cheese with this? Uh, no, I'm good. Thank you, though. Alright, enjoy the movie. Movie? I thought this was a monologue.

Speaker: adds It's monologue of the movie. You know how it is. They just all of a sudden become a big stage set while we have our backs turned. They rolled out a whole stage.

Speaker: They've got lights and everything now. i like i like that. Studio performance. So there's like a stage in the middle of the throne room now. like Kind of like a puppet show. like It's like small. It doesn't take up the whole room. It's just enough to cover the ah two of them there.

Speaker: And as you guys sit down in your theater seats with electric reclining, the red the red curtains open.

Speaker: The monologue may begin.

Speaker: Why the fuck did we go down this stupid tangent? Cause you don't want to not do a monologue. This is your fault. We wanted it to get straight into the battle.

Speaker: You like your monologue, so we have to find ways to ruin them. While still actually getting the information. Alright, so there's like a bunch of like spotlights and they're like swirling around the room and then all of a sudden they focus in the middle.

Speaker: And I will point out this is medieval, so there's no electricity. it's It's like ah what, Illumise? Yeah, Illumise. Oh, is I have always mispronounced that name.

Speaker: Pretty sure it's Illumise, but don't know. It probably is, and I have exclusively read that name. Yeah, Illumise is, I think, what they say in the anime. Okay. No idea.

Speaker: no like that I just called them the Firefly and Ladybug.

Speaker: So, because we're doing it this way now, instead of the two people there, there's just a screen. There's clearly just a projector, and it's now a movie. So, the the movie starts, and you guys see...

Speaker: an intelion wandering through a field next to his house and in his in his in this field picks up what is this it's something yellow it's hard looks kind of heavy you see him tossing it in his hands and he's like huh that's weird and he realizes this is a whole chunk of gold and he's looking around some more and there's like more gold around he eventually he finds a cave a cave that is completely filled with gold And his eyes grow wide as he realizes he, who was once poor, is now very rich.

Speaker: He goes sprinting back towards where his mother was to tell her the great news. But he stops and thinks for a minute. This property belongs to Mother. If I tell Mother, Mother will surely take all the gold for herself.

Speaker: And by the time the property comes into my inheritance, all the money will surely be spent. So he comes up with a plan. You see him in his bedroom scheming, scheming, scheming, and eventually he comes up with an idea.

Speaker: That's it. I have to get rid of Mother, for the riches will be mine. The property will passed down to mut me, and this gold mine that was hidden in our yard will be ours. Will be mine!

Speaker: So he travels the land far and wide, taking only a couple chunks of gold, being careful to hide the gold mine so that mother does not find it. And after some time, he comes upon Castle Crowfeather and finds a Greninja who is willing to kill his mother in exchange for a hefty fee.

Speaker: So the Greninja heads out to the property. Two quick shurikens finishes the job. He says to the Anteleon, meet me at Castle Crowfeather. You will can pay your payments there.

Speaker: And he heads out. The red curtains close, and X and the Greninja are both back on stage. Did you like our monologue?

Speaker: Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

Speaker: We had some plot holes in it, but we don't need to go into those. Yeah, I was like, immediately he's trying to hide the money, but he tells us where the money is.

Speaker: Well, he was hiding it from the mother. we I said we don't have to go into the plot holes. and We want to ruin things. i assume. yeah The audience can find the plot holes on their own. Yeah.

Speaker: if they're If they're telling us where the money is, they're likely assuming that we're going to not be able to go and get it. Oh, that's the whole point, yeah. but yeah They also skipped us of our bodyguard money, so we need to kill them to somehow get the money back.

Speaker: Oh, I mean, I don't know if we necessarily have to kill them, but knocking them out, we can take the money and be on our way. Mm-hmm. should have just stolen the first place and you're ditched.

Speaker: run Run for the hills and back to our bowling league. Back to the bowling league. So with this yeah yes money, we can form the greatest bowling league in the whole region. Jesus Christ. I can afford a tutor and learn rollout.

Speaker: Yes!

Speaker: And we can get Sudowoodos instead of Bonsleys. Why would we want that? Sudowoodos are just less pin-shaped.

Speaker: They're bigger targets. Then they can knock each other over because they're just bigger. Robin just wants to cheat a bowling. Yeah, that that makes it less fun. There's less skill involved.

Speaker: Yeah. We want to hone our craft. And then like we could afford they let we could afford to to have like tournaments there. And instead of just hoping people like don't notice that we're buying all the catering with the entry money immediately.

Speaker: We can use some money to clone the Bonsleys and have even more bullets. You guys are in the Diesel Times. You guys all suddenly have cloning technology. Well, apparently we have electricity to create televisions.

Speaker: Unless you're saying you guys are going to spend your money on a Bonsley breeding farm. that That's actually that's a little creepy in this context.

Speaker: We must grow our boarding pins! Like fucking Frankenstein. The ones we had unionized. We had to get new ones. Yeah, that's why we gave the king to, or the king of Bonsley, is because they're so expensive, because you have to fucking do so much to get one.

Speaker: What, you were you worried about the Bonsley tariff prices? Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker: Oh my god. So, the, uh, X is just tapping his foot, waiting for you guys to be over. Are you guys done yet? Can we, you know, like, get on with this?

Speaker: I've still got, like, half of my pretzel. yeah the the The rocks falling above your head? What rocks? He looks up. And there's Rock Slide falling down. okay. Go for a Rock Slide for a surprise attack.

Speaker: That's a six, which does not beat the accuracy of eight. Okay, so he sees the that there actually are Rock, and he dodges out of the way. Were you trying to hit X or Hitman?

Speaker: Both of them. Rock slides eight. Yeah, Rock slides a spread. Okay, they both dodge out of the way, jumping towards the edges of the room. And with that, we will roll initiative.

Speaker: ah Another one? i got a 10 again. I a 5. i got a

Speaker: Uh, hold on a second. I got a six. I gotta write this out. Uh, okay. So X got a six. Hitman got a one.

Speaker: X six. Hitman one. All right. What did y'all get? I got a ten. Five. Okay. god Five.

Speaker: got a ten and gal you got what? Six. All right. Eli. Six. All right. You're going to need to roll off again. X also rolled a six.

Speaker: I'll have him roll off.

Speaker: All right, he got What the hell? got a two. No way. Okay. I had i a roll off again with the other one. He got a three. So you said you got a two?

Speaker: Yeah. Okay. So gets three. Get a two. All right. Yeah, because Hitman and X tied, so I'd have to roll again. Okay. ah So it's going to go...

Speaker: Sturgill, Jacob, X, Eli, Hitman. Okay. So, with that being said, Sturgill, you are up first.

Speaker: Alright. So we can't heal for the first two turns. Yeah.

Speaker: which we are fully healed i will say it's been three days since last battle you guys can bring your changes in battle back to neutral all right uh should have no changes in battle i'd like to lead off with another disarming voice since there's two of them okay

Speaker: it's a pretty reliable move it turns out okay That is a four on the roll for crit, so no crit. And then D8.

Speaker: Three plus 18, 21. Okay.

Speaker: Greninja and Inteleon, right? Yes. ah So Greninja takes super effective.

Speaker: Oh, because it's yeah water dark, isn't it? Yeah. That's right. forgot about that. Yeah, I put them down as water. was just about to look at the... Because I was thinking they were both pure water types.

Speaker: So I'm going to have to do that separately. you said 21. Yep. Times 0.75.

Speaker: ah times point seven five

Speaker: That's fine. 16. 16. Is that physical or special? That's a special. right. Special defense. It's 16. It does one damage. Wait, no. it's third It's multiplied by two because that's super effective. Sorry.

Speaker: So it's times two divided by two is damage. 15 is one damage.

Speaker: and on x that's sixteen minus fifteen is one damage

Speaker: Okay. Ooh. I just realized I'm going to be quite useless. Why's that? um My only two attacking moves are rollout, which is physical. I have an attack of eight.

Speaker: And brine, which is a water type move. Oh. yeah least you you have defense curl and rollout, so you can at least get some boosted rollouts.

Speaker: Sadly... sadly the color told me that is false what is it karol apparently apparently ptt is one generation too old or yeah one generation behind it wasn't implemented yeah it was in the next game that roll out in curl apparently that didn't happen until mr dungeon dx And apparently it is not an extra stage, it's just double the damage, so... Yeah.

Speaker: Wait, what? Apparently in the games it is not, it increases the stage by one, it just does double the damage. Yeah, it's always done double the damage.

Speaker: Oh, I thought it just increases your stage by one. So if you defense curled it counted as a rollout, but it didn't do any damage, so the next turn would deal...

Speaker: 6 damage instead of the 3. No. Rollout's power is doubled in addition if the user had previously used Defense Curl. Yeah, but last last night I was told that it's not.

Speaker: What? I made such a fit about it last night. I did not make such a fit about it. I just stated that that's not how it is in Mystery Dungeon until DX, which is why it wasn't specifically implemented in this system. I'm fine doing that.

Speaker: yes Alright. I am less useless now. Okay, well I need to write that down. How are we doing that? I need to make a new rule in the system now.

Speaker: Double the damage if defense curled was used the previous turn. Okay, gotcha. So, with that... well how put How does that work with bonus action? It quadruples It is not quadrupling the damage. No, it's only a one-time boost.

Speaker: So, like, when you use defense curl, then you use rollout... It doubles the damage, and then for each consecutive rollout, the doubling occurs until you stop using rollout or miss.

Speaker: Oh, so it's not just on one attack, it's on all. Ooh, I like that. Yes, I do like that. Alright. I completely misunderstood the oh mechanic.

Speaker: So it doubles damage. That's how it is for this... Oh, okay. For this system, because that this system does roll out more like the regular main series games than the Mystery Dungeon games.

Speaker: Yeah. Alright. Well, that's what I was basing it off of, was the main series game. And then yeah i was told to look at the actual Mystery Dungeons games, and it turns out that It did double it, but it wasn't the, uh, the game came out like a year or so after it was PTT or something, I can't remember.

Speaker: This is, I'm seeing that Gates to Infinity onwards has the double power the first time it is used successfully if Defense Girl had been used.

Speaker: Huh, Jacob told me it was Mr. Dungeon DX that it was, uh, Stratton. Yeah, i I looked it up last night, it was Mr. Dungeon DX. Yeah. I don't know what you were looking on, but I always trust Bulbopedia with things like this.

Speaker: And that's what Bulbopedia says. Yeah, I didn't use Bulbopedia, I will admit that. So... Alright, I will use Defense Curl as my bonus action.

Speaker: we Hold on, we gotta figure out how does... Yeah, how does Defense Curl as a bonus action and implicate with Rollout, then? It's just a plus one defense with a double of the attack.

Speaker: Yeah, but the effects are halved. I would say 1.5, then, the Rollout. Yeah, can do times 1.5. yeah yeah that's fine time to get the uh calculator out again yeah that's nice all right it's all green check marks yeah ten all right uh okay so i'm sorry is it my turn no it's still my turn i didn't oh shit sorry yeah i was just i didn't want to interrupt anybody because like you know getting that information out is important

Speaker: apple it anyway uh just for my bonus action i'd like to use metronome again okay let me pull up a 934 dice see oh oh oh italian okay right yes all right it is burn up i was gonna use it on the on the inteon okay x right let yes x it is burn up Oh, what does that do?

Speaker: That doesn't sound 100, 130. To and inflict massive damage, the user burns itself out. After using this move, the user will no longer Fire-type.

Speaker: Well, I was never Fire-type anyway. ye can like thought you were going to burn yourself. Oh, that's interesting. Can only be used by a Fire-type Pokemon. following So does that fail?

Speaker: I, it might, I don't know, we'd have you want put that a book? I'm gonna look that up real quick. Yeah, because, because there is quite a few moves in Metronome that just will fail if they don't meet the, like, Sheer Cold and all those, the guillotine and stuff.

Speaker: Because I think it would be on the same levels of, like, the one-hit KOs, where if it doesn't meet the standards, it just fails. Yeah, I don't know. cause yeah Because in the system itself, it specifically states can only be used by Fire-type Pokemon. Yeah. it's I'm seeing that it fails if called by Metronome if the Pokemon using Metronome is not a Fire-type.

Speaker: Oh, that's unfortunate. That's very unfortunate. Oh, well. It would have been not very effective, but it would have been a 4D 10 plus 10 move. That's still a lot.

Speaker: That's still a lot, even if it is not very effective. Yeah. That's unfortunate very sad very okay, it's like coughs fire for a second and then it just just nothing happens Okay, with that it is now Jacob's turn all right The fence curl so like a plus one defense as your bonus section remain action a bonus, okay?

Speaker: me

Speaker: I have my thing turned off. And then i will use rollout on either one because I'm just as effective against either one. You gotta pick one.

Speaker: Well, I'm looking to see if there's like a physical difference. Who has the worst physical defense?

Speaker: How does ground interact with water? It's neutral. It's rock. Rock, sorry. you It's neutral. Okay.

Speaker: I will go after X. Okay, so go ahead roll your damage then.

Speaker: You mean accuracy? yeah accuracy first i rolled oh an eight oh barely yeah so uh 1d6 plus five

Speaker: that will be uh 10 so that's 15 damage Hold on, before we commit to this, I want to ask something real quick. If you're stuck in a rollout, are you still able to do bonus actions?

Speaker: I would probably say no. That's what I was thinking too, but I wanted to clarify that before we move on. Yeah, I was just thinking the first rollout is eligible for being a bonus action.

Speaker: So, but after that, you're stuck using Rollout and can't use a bonus action. So it's honestly probably better to start off using Rollout as a bonus action.

Speaker: Okay. Alright. You're just locked out of using bonus actions because you don't have any usable moves. that Okay, but that means only the first instance of rollout is doubled because you can't use defense curl on on your previous turn if you're... Well, actually the first two instances rollout.

Speaker: Well, the defense curl would double the damage, but the rollout would be halved because of the bonus action so it would just be a net neutral so you should that lucky this year what yeah yeah great so you should use rollout as your main one and then 1.5 it with your bonus action yeah that that's i'm gonna keep with the 1.5 so okay ideal 15 plus uh 8 so 23 23 damage okay okay ideal fifteen plus eight so twenty three

Speaker: twenty three damage Okay, 23 damage times your 1.5? No, that's what you want. Oh, do 1.5 the entire damage or just my damage roll? Uh... I think it's after your addition. It's after calculation, and before my end of calculation.

Speaker: Oh, okay, so... I got 10, 18, so 18 times 27. So 27. I deal 27 damage. that's physical, I'm assuming? Yes. so twenty seven i deal twenty seven damage and it's physical physical i'm assuming yes Okay, what happened?

Speaker: Okay, so 27 minus 16 defense is 11 damage.

Speaker: Yeah, it's neutral. Minus 11. All right, and you said you did that on X? Yes. Okay, cool. So it is now... It is now X's turn, and he's going to look at the ball of ice...

Speaker: That just hit him and he is going go for what should I do? X go and give it to him. Hmm.

Speaker: Let's go for water pulse. See if I can confuse you out of rollout. Alright, so that's an accuracy of 6. Oops. That's a 4, so it's going to miss.

Speaker: So he's going to try and use it again just to try and get you out of rollout as a bonus action. You shouldn't be able to use water pulse as a bonus action.

Speaker: it's 60. nope you're right it's a power of six let's go for nothing well actually you can use tearful look as a bonus action and that's it i am oblivious it does not affect me oh you're right well he's gonna use it anyway and then your ability procs so that's right he's gonna go for tearful look on you which decreases your attack and special attack by two i just realized we should they should have been taking less damage Because I friend guard. friend When an ally is hit with a damaging move, it reduces it by a d4. Ah.

Speaker: right Oh, right. Yeah, that's right. Well, we've only taken a couple instances of damage so far. I haven't taken any damage. Oh, well, I'm the only one who's taken damage then, I think.

Speaker: Oh, yeah. The sweet kiss, I think. It is now Eli's turn. Okay. Okay.

Speaker: I kind of want X to be moving slower than me so I will be going for a bulldoze. Okay. and Both of them.

Speaker: Try to get that speed down. Okay, go ahead. That is a 16 so that'll hit. Okay, so that's speed. 2d6 plus 8. Okay.

Speaker: 5 and a 6. 19 plus be you apply the 0.75 times? oh. No. Let's see. 27.

Speaker: Yep. Uh, okay. So, 27 physical damage is... oh no thats <unk> see by two like two twenty seven twenty seven yep ah okay so twenty seven physical damage is Minus 16 is also 11.

Speaker: so Both of their speed is down by 2. Okay, so they will both have a speed of 1, which will put them dead last. Don't I can't have the Intaglion have a speed of negative 1? Well, technically the Hitman has a speed of 0. Oh, okay.

Speaker: Right. Alright, so now X moves after you, which has the interesting effect of making X go again. it doesn't. no, that would skip his turn this turn because he's already gone. Sorry, that's how I... Okay, I was looking at if that. That was like... he himax turned Yes, you're right. That doesn't take effect until next turn because that would be very interesting. So it is now Hitman's turn and he is going to try and stop this roll. Let me see if I can.

Speaker: Um... Oh, that's right. For my bonus action, I do want to use defense curl for my bonus action. Gotcha. All right. So go for defense curl. Yeah. Just boost my defense by one. Okay. So Hitman is going to go for water pulse on Robin.

Speaker: uh what's the effect roll if i roll 17 18 19 or 20 you are confused but after all can see first 19. oh what'd you look at that that hits that's not my effect roll actually a five it does he does not confuse you and also take half damage i think you do wait why would you take oh i'm water ice hold on i gotta figure out ice Oh yeah. Oh. Yeah, because it's not very effective.

Speaker: And then after all the calculation, take 1d for less.

Speaker: Special attack. Oh yeah, I take one a quarter of the damage from water types. Really? Okay. Wait, what?

Speaker: Are you sure? it's It's double resisted. water resists and ice resist oh lock okay i'm looking at celebi right now it says no how no water hitting ice is neutral and water hitting water is half yeah ah really the thing says quarter yeah i mean this is saying half Hold on, I'll post damage. I know I'm not going crazy.

Speaker: come on. D.B. says, like... Yeah, ice is only resistant to itself, I think. Yeah, water attacking ice is neutral. Here's what I'm seeing.

Speaker: oh i can't read that but yeah you're looking at ice that's ice not water look at oh shit fuck i'm i'm dumb never mind there you go sorry okay i'm yeah i'm dumb sorry audience jesus okay great i don't remember what the calculation was ice that's five plus 13 plus 10 23 so twenty degrees so Oh, 23 divided by 2 is 11, rounded down.

Speaker: Minus your special defense, which going to bring it down to 1, so you take 1 damage. And then the the it friend guard. at does Can I reduce that to zero?

Speaker: No, I think 1 is the minimum. Yeah, because pretty sure 1 is the minimum. Okay, never mind. We don't need friend guard to take effect this thing. Darn. How I have minus one?

Speaker: that's Just in your changes in battle. Negative one. When they eventually start attacking Apollo, friend guard is going to be very helpful.

Speaker: Okay. Hitman is going to use bonus action, use Shadow Sneak, which has the effect of next turn, you go first.

Speaker: Oh, is that still how we're doing it? Yes, because this is the same way Anaru does Not A Scratch, so. Yeah, that this is that that's the old priority move mechanic.

Speaker: Did we change it? thought we took that out when we added bonus actions.

Speaker: What? Are you talking about back when we did group initiative?

Speaker: Because we changed how priority moves worked to when we did group initiative. Oh. Yeah. Right. Okay. Okay. Okay. He's going to use Shadow Snake on... ah He's going to go for Robin again. He's just trying to stop that rollout.

Speaker: So, I already know his damage isn't going do anything, but will roll it anyway, just in case. 2 plus 6 is 8 plus his... Did you roll the hit?

Speaker: No, I didn't. I always forget to do that. He got an 11.

Speaker: So it is a physical move. Plus 9. So damage.

Speaker: jacob Oh, sorry. 17 damage with special defense? Yes. No, physical defense. Physical. 15. Or, sorry, 16 with the defense. Jesus Christ, you can't hurt you. You really are a tank.

Speaker: So you take one damage again.

Speaker: Okay. And because he's the priority move, he's going to... The turn order is going to wrap around. Okay. And Hitman is going to go once again. um So he is going to try again with Water Pulse and try and confuse you.

Speaker: Water Pulse rolls an 11. And I'll roll for effect. You got a 14, so it does not confuse you.

Speaker: Nope, and my d6 is on the floor. You got a and 5. So

Speaker: Plus his special attack is 28 divided by 2 is 14. So that'll be once again damage.

Speaker: He really can't hurt you.

Speaker: I really need to get my Aqua Ring set up, then he really can't do anything. Oh, Jesus. oh Okay. all alright It is now Sturgill's turn.

Speaker: Alright, I'd like to main action ah Metronome okay on on um hit man Okay.

Speaker: is it is heel bell heals a user part heals the user's party status conditions so if any has had status conditions you no longer have it Okay, that means nothing.

Speaker: Yeah, I was about to say we can't heal because we have that psychic noise, but it doesn't heal HP. Yeah, that's two whiffs in a row metronome. such metronome are you that's that's just That's average metronome.

Speaker: has it said Yeah. I love it anyways. It's karmic balancing out the last time we used metronome when we blew up the universe. Could I use Copycat and grab Shadowsneak?

Speaker: Uh, yeah, you can. Um, I do a question. Was- what- did we use Metronome into Scratch? Is that how we blew up the universe? Oh, neither one of you- none of you guys were there we did that, never mind. let's Never even listened to the episode.

Speaker: Look, that was like a year ago. Oh. So you're gonna try and use shadow snakes then? Yeah, I'll copy shadow snake. Okay, your accuracy is six Actually, so I need to like you see for copycat don't you? Copycats doesn't seem to oh, okay It doesn't have anything listed It is not let's see copycat Copycat normal status copies opponents last move

Speaker: Okay, so you have shadow sneak. Yeah, it doesn't have an accuracy listed. That's weird. Okay, it is based on shadow. I think so. So in that case shut go ahead and roll.

Speaker: You have to meet or beat a six. Alright, so just raw Yes. Alright. There's a nine. download it Your damage is 1d8 plus six.

Speaker: Alright, so I disappear and then do damage? Yes, you disappear, reappear, smack him in the back, and you will go first next turn. Alright, and so I'm hitting... will say you already first. You are to want to be attacking the, uh... The Inteleon. Yeah, because, the Greninja's dark type.

Speaker: Yeah. yep Yeah, so i'll I'll aim that at the Inteleon. Okay, that'll do double damage. How much- I thought Shadown attacks attack only the the user, themselves de so if he copied Shadowsmeak, it was should be the user of Shadowsmeak that he attacks. I'm pretty sure.

Speaker: I don't think so. um No, just copies opponent's last move. don't know. It was just a thought. I don't know how copycat works in double battles.

Speaker: I've never used copycat in a double. I've never been in a double battle. hello I used to do like UU doubles all the time.

Speaker: I wish I could do the whole competitive thing, but I just love to use certain non-good Pokemon. like um I like to use Sumerall with huge power, but then I also like to use Furrit.

Speaker: You can- there's different tiers. You can just play in the tier that has the Pokemon you like.

Speaker: That's why I used to play Yu Yu, because one of my favorite Pokemon is Feraligatr. Feraligatr has been Yu Yu for a long... Oh, Yu Yu, by the way, it stands for underused for anyone listening and doesn't know Smogon terminology.

Speaker: That's definitely me. I have no clue. This whole Pokemon Champions thing has been also very confusing. I have not attempted to touch Champions, but I kind of want to try it.

Speaker: I want to try it because it's a mainline, like, Pokemon showdown. But I hear showdown's just better. It is. It is. 100%. Okay, so, I'm not getting, clear details, but something I did find out.

Speaker: Copycat is not targeted. During double battles, it uses the move of the Pokemon that last used the move. That includes your own Pokemon. Wait, so i use metronome twice?

Speaker: You can use metronome again. guess so. Oh. Okay, well, what does metronome do? Okay, it's so you're using it as a bonus action, correct? Yeah.

Speaker: Okay, number 891. Ooh. 891. 891. Yeah.

Speaker: the buy a bitke too no eight hundred and ninety one see thank wanna see this list. Uproar! Uproar, ooh!

Speaker: Ooh, that's a good! Power 90, okay. So, Uproar, let me look it up in the system.

Speaker: 2d10 plus 10? Ooh, 2d10 plus 10, yeah. Attack for three turns and no one can sleep. So you are stuck in uproar divided by two unfortunately, but so it's 1d 10 plus five All right, do I need to roll again for that or like for accuracy or does that just work? he did It would be based off of your metronome accuracy, so There's nothing listed on the accuracy, so I guess that's just raw d20 Yeah, I guess so if it's if there's nothing listed then it's an art of success.

Speaker: Well, I did get a... I don't know if that matters now, but I did land a 20. Oh, that does. That means it crits. So it the way a crit works is you do your maximum damage you can, plus an extra damage die.

Speaker: So it's if you have one d six plus 5, it'll do your max damage die out of a 6 is a 6. So your dice will automatically roll the highest they possibly can.

Speaker: ah plus one extra die. Okay, I had a group that used to do crits in D&D like that, Like, wherere heavy we you did max damage and then you rolled an extra set.

Speaker: An extra dice of that type, yes. So you're doing 1d10, 1, yeah, 1d10 plus 5. So you'll roll 2d10 plus 5.

Speaker: And because both the dice are maxed out, no, the second, the extra isn't maxed out, is it A-line? It's 15 plus an extra d10. So wait, hold on. Where's the 15 from?

Speaker: the the max damage is, sentence since we're since it's a bonus action, it's damage base divided by two. So it goes from 2d10 plus 10 to 1d10 plus 5, which max damage out of that is 15. And then you add on an extra damage die.

Speaker: Which you roll. All right. And does that my attack or special attack? That is a special move. all right. So that is 12 plus 9.

Speaker: plus nine Hold on. bad at math. That's 21. Yeah.

Speaker: Is that divided by 2 because it's the bonus action or? Uh, wait, sorry, what were you saying? I rolled a total, so my extra d10 was a 9, and then i have 12 special attack, which makes that a total of 21. your 9 plus 15 24.

Speaker: you're moved 24 your special is is 36.

Speaker: so you're moved to twenty four plus your special

Speaker: yeah a social x twelve okay so twenty four plus twelve is thirty six Alright. You did 36. Man, these damage calculations are taking forever.

Speaker: You would think after doing this for like three years it wouldn't be... No, it's always been like this. Yeah. It would be easier if it weren't for the fact that there's a thousand moving parts.

Speaker: Yeah. Okay. So, that is special defense. So you did 36. That's 31 damage.

Speaker: already big hit uh that's right is up for our spread don't got a look uh uproar i keep hitting everybody all the time oh wait shoot is it it does it hits two and it hits two enemies Well shit, it is.

Speaker: Alright. So that's... Oh, okay. So now i gotta to redo calculations. Fuck. 36 says is so...

Speaker: um you take twenty seven and you take twenty seven

Speaker: right

Speaker: okay is it robin's turn

Speaker: Uh, yeah, I've done both my actions, so yeah. I will say X is looking quite winded right now. Well, he's about to be even more winded. Okay, so it is now Jacob's turn.

Speaker: Alright, uh, I already rolled my accuracy. I got an 11. Okay. okay So, 1d6, uh, that's a 6. Plus 5, 11. Plus 3 14. Plus 8 is...

Speaker: that's a six plus five eleven plus three is fourteen plus eight is a hundred or a uh one wait what i lost track six eleven plus fourteen twenty two 1.5

Speaker: I'm just gonna let you do the final calculation. Too much math. 33. 33 damage. Okay, you for rollout... Physical. Yes. Alright, which person did you initially... os Okay, X. So 33.

Speaker: And that's physical, so defense. 16. So that's 23. That's 17 damage. Oh my god. You managed to knock him out perfectly.

Speaker: Hey! So that means I'm out of rollout.

Speaker: like Yes, you are now out of rollout. I would like to do Aqua Ring as my bonus. Okay. What does Aqua Ring do? He'll d4 each turn.

Speaker: Okay. It should be at the end of each turn. So... Yeah. So I will roll a

Speaker: Sure. I heal There you go. So I i fully healed. Jesus Christ. they're willing but taking blood damage Yeah, they dealt three damage to me and I just healed four. overheal.

Speaker: you bonu Oh, bonus action. fuck Yeah, Eli pointed it out. I didn't hear him. Sorry. Alright.

Speaker: That's my turn. Unless I can throw the two knives that I picked up off of the Grimms' knives. Okay, it is now Eli's turn. Alright, we're gonna go on ahead and go with a defense curl bonus action.

Speaker: And go see if I can get some rollout going too. Alright.

Speaker: Nope, because I roll a 2. Well, you got a little extra defense. the These one shots, I can just never roll good. yeah last time we did a D&D one shot, you missed like half your shots, I remember that.

Speaker: Yeah. Maybe need to get some new dice. Your dice are cursed. Okay, it is now not Exa's turn because he's dead.

Speaker: it is Hitman's turn. So, Hitman is going... Hitman went first this turn. Oh, he did, you're right. So a skipped to X and Hitman, so now it's going to go back to Sturgill.

Speaker: Oh yeah, okay we love to see it. Wait, does it skip him, or does it... He already took his turn this turn. He moved his turn up in the initiative order.

Speaker: and didn't use Shadow Sneak again. So he goes back down to the bottom of the initiative order for this turn now. Yeah, last time he went, he went twice in a row. Yep.

Speaker: So now he doesn't get to go a third time yet.

Speaker: So now it is Sturgill's turn. All right, what was the last move you used? Roll out. Roll out. let's Roll out. Would have been the last thing.

Speaker: Could I copycat the rollout, please? Yeah. Oh, that's how you do bowling. You just copy us. Yeah, you just copycat. There you go. You learned a secret technique.

Speaker: We did it. We figured it out. We figured it out. I curse technique. Copy another person. Oh.

Speaker: All right, ah what's the what's the details on rollout? Oh, great question. 1d6 plus 5 with an accuracy of 8. got to roll above an 8?

Speaker: Yes. 8 or higher. 8 or higher. That is an 18. That'll do it. All right, and what's the damage? 1d6 plus 5.

Speaker: And it's physical. All right. I'm going use my fancy dice for this one.

Speaker: That is a 6. And my physical is 7. Nice. Somehow I am better than you even though I put nothing with my attack.

Speaker: uh so that is okay so it's six plus d6 plus five plus physical oh right it's five six seven uh that is total uh was 13 plus five hold on y'all i am genuinely bad at math what is that like 18 yeah definitely yep yep definitely i was paying attention 18 18 yeah damage got it eighteen Alright, 18, you said, that's physical. So, defense 10, so it's 8 damage.

Speaker: Alright, whoops. Hold on, I gotta control Z that. Oh, and now I guess I'm locked out of bonus action. Yeah, you're with all your locked in rollout. Oh, I should've done something else first.

Speaker: Oh well. Yeah. Well, then it would have copied that. That's true, yeah. That's true. need to copy Rollout if you did something else first. I cannot attain Balin without giving something up in exchange.

Speaker: Exactly. Balin costs a lot. Okay, ah so it is now Jacob's turn once again. Alright, I will do the fence curl as my main. Alright. So now I should get the full 2 plus the fence and 2 times the damage on rollout.

Speaker: And I will use Brine on the hitman. Okay. <unk> out So he is... Then you don't get the 2 times damage on rollout anymore.

Speaker: Well, next turn you will. Nope. i He's right. I have to use it in the same turn. Ah, okay. Well, it's consecutively. If you move use a move between defense curl and rollout, then it doesn't do anything. Yeah, i think that's fair.

Speaker: Then I would like to use my bonus action of defense curl and then and then use my main one as defense curl. So... Oh, so just doubling up on the defense girl?

Speaker: Yeah, I double up on the defense girl. okay Okay. So I now have a plus four. let Oh, yes. Yep. Yes, your previous defense girl. Okay. Alright, that's it. Robin just wanted to curl up. Alright, it is Eli's turn.

Speaker: Yep, okay. We're gonna try this one more time. See if we can all get ballin' over here. Defense curl into rollout. Might help if I roll only a d20 for accuracy instead of a d6.

Speaker: Which can't even roll an 8. Yep. yeah I got a 14! We're We're ballin'!

Speaker: Alright. 1d6 plus 5 times 2. Times Did you curl? Oh, times Yes, 1.5 after your stat additions. nice. so I got 4, so it'll be 9 plus 17.

Speaker: Okay. is it total damage or roll yes one point five after your ah stat additions oh nice okay so i got a four it'll be nine less seventeen will be 26 times 39 damage. Jesus. 39 physical minus 10 is 29.

Speaker: Oh my god. And we're all rolling now. can't stop all us.

Speaker: my god andd we're all roll in now you can't stop all of us Alright, he's looking really tired. And it is now Hitman's turn. So he's looking pretty tired. He is going to... oh ah He is going to go for a... No, not going to that.

Speaker: Hmm.

Speaker: That's interesting. Okay, he is going to go for a Water Shuriken. On... Huh, he's gonna go for a water shirking on Fampy. Is that double effective?

Speaker: Yes, that is super effective. kind I was wondering when you would finally use one of your water type moves on me. He actually, yeah he has two water type moves. Um, okay, so, accuracy of six.

Speaker: Where's my d20? But we do have extra d20s from the fence curl, and we also have the Yeah, front guard. Roll plus one.

Speaker: He rolls 3 plus 1 4. So he's going to roll accuracy 4 times. So 12, 10, 13, and 2. So hits 3 times. He's going to 1d6 plus 3. 3 times. So 6, 6, 5. Jesus Christ. Yikes. So that's what? That's 17 plus 9.

Speaker: two so he hits three times i hit one six plus three three times so six five jesus christ okay ys so that's what that's seventeen plus nine yes is 26 plus do each of those hit individually yeah that should be hit each individually which should calculate his defense and oh it does right you're right you're right i wasn't thinking about so there's six six of five so hold on that's

Speaker: Oh my god, okay, hold on. That's 9, 9, and 8. Plus, what is it? Or special attack. Oh, it's special?

Speaker: Damn. Defense curl. Wait, it? So 9, 9, 8. Oh, it is special. so nine is special So that's 16. Okay. twenty four twenty four and twenty three okay well my special defense is sixteen it'll be 8, 8, and 7. Well, hold on one second. And we have to take off the friend guard. Well, one second. I completely forgot. It's super effective.

Speaker: Oh, right. So 48, 48, and 46. Okay. a bit more substantial. 32, 32, and 30. Uh-oh. This might not be good. And friend guard. Oh. thirty two and thirty <unk> this might not be good and friend yard And friend guard, I'm going to just

Speaker: roll A 3, a 3, and a 2. So, minus 8. Well,

Speaker: I mean, that's like three procs of friend guard. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, no, it doesn't matter. That's 86 damage.

Speaker: Oh, you down? I got 75 HP. Oh, you got 5 HP? No, I had 75 HP. I took 86 damage. Ah, damn. That was actually really close. Okay.

Speaker: Alright, Eli goes down. Does anybody have a Reviver Seed on them? I got a Macadonut. It's made of stone. i got heal seed.

Speaker: I should have got a reviver seed. Yeah. So with his bonus action, he is going to use Shadow Snake because he believes this may be the final term.

Speaker: So Shadow Snake is, he's going to use it on Sturgill. So 1d8 plus, or actually I had real accuracy first. Wait, hold on. What type is Shadow Snake?

Speaker: 9. Ghost. I'm a normal type. No, fairy type. Fuck. Yeah, you're type. ah Terra normal. Wait, this is olden times.

Speaker: The fairy type was not discovered. This was before fairy types were invented. 2 plus 6 is 8. Plus his physical is 9. So 8 plus 9 is 17. physical is nine so eight plus nine is seventeen Uh, so he's gonna do 17 damage to you.

Speaker: Minus your physical defense. Alright, alright, hold on. 17 minus my physical defense, which is 15. So just 2 damage. But the main purpose of that is now he goes first in initiative.

Speaker: So he is going to go again.

Speaker: so yeah yeah turn order wraps around back to the start because hitman used a priority move he's going to go first and he's going to go once again and he's going to use water shuriken on surgel

Speaker: so need roll d4 see how many times this is chance so d plus one is four again that's a real accuracy nine eleven eighteen one So, he's going to hit you three times.

Speaker: And one of those times he's going to hit himself. We'll get to that in a minute.

Speaker: plus 3. 3. A 3. A 6. So, plus his special attack is 15. he's going to do 18, 18, and 21 to you. Hmm.

Speaker: is fifteen so he's gonna do eighteen eighteen and twenty one to you o And all those are reduced by the... By special defense. Yeah, those are reduced special defense, which is 14. Okay.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: I hope you remember what I rolled. i don't. God damn it. Okay, hold on. So, three. And it was a three, three, and a six. So, fuck.

Speaker: um That's nine, nine, and twelve. Wait, no. Six, six, and nine. Special attack. Six, six, and nine. That's twenty-one, twenty-one, and twenty-four.

Speaker: Minus 14 is and 24 damage. And then hits himself. I'm down to 29. Yes, 3 divided by 2. 4 plus 3, 7 divided

Speaker: by 2 rounded down is 3. yes he hits himself for one d six plus three divide by two four plus three seven divided by two runda down

Speaker: Okay. It is now his bonus action. And he is going to use Matt's block.

Speaker: What the fuck is that? Matt's block. I think it's a Gen 9 move. I've never heard about it either. It's actually Greninja's signature move that nobody ever used. Wait, really? wait Isn't that the thing he does in Smash Bros 2? His side... No, side B is the shadow sneak. it's like He gets something where he like pops up a tatami match.

Speaker: Yep. Okay. Yeah. It's always been a thing, but nobody's ever used it because Water Shuriken is just so much cooler and better of a signature move for it. All right. Matt block.

Speaker: It has no accuracy. Allies are protected from damage moves until next turn. That's allies, not yourself. Oh no, you're right!

Speaker: Well, he used map block anyway, I guess. Ball on him. It's an opening. Okay. So, fun fact, guys. If Water Shuriken was a physical move, I would have lived on one HP.

Speaker: Oh, jeez.

Speaker: It is now Sturgill's turn. Alright, well I'm locked into rollout. Yeah, because he changed her yeah order. Oh, death saves?

Speaker: No, you just fainted. Until the end of combat. Or unless someone uses a healing item on you, which brings you up to 1 HP. No one has a healing item. I have a healing move.

Speaker: I have two healing moves. I mean, if you can use them on an outlet, that would probably work. Yeah. Life dude works on allies. Aqua ring also does.

Speaker: I am currently, though, locked into rollout. Great. Yeah, they're both locked into rollout right now, though. Yeah. I'm not. No, they, they, yeah. Oh.

Speaker: Great. I can yeah rock use Aqua. I can get you back with 1d4. So, is that how it works? you just and It's just like D&D 5, but you just have to use a healing item, which brings them to 1hp.

Speaker: oh okay okay cool pretty sure anyway i don't have five b you are being at negative 11 hp getting 11 points of healing back then and in like d20 systems like based on like 5e and and stuff you cannot go into negative unless it is to kill you uh okay at any point when you are down you are at zero health okay

Speaker: Yeah, like the only reason you could go into negative is if if an attack were- if a singular attack were to deal double your health, then you die immediately. But in any other circumstance, you just drop to zero.

Speaker: Yeah, I think in this system it's kind of similar, but the reason we go into negatives is that if you ever reach negative your max health, you're just instantly dead.

Speaker: Yeah. OK, so you guys have that build up instead of just it has to be the one instance. Well, it's yeah negative max HP for NPCs, double your max HP for player characters. Ah, OK.

Speaker: OK. I guess I will roll out, and that gets stronger when you use it consecutively, right? Yes. So your base power goes up by a how much? Three. So this one will be six base power, two d six plus 8. All right, let me grab a d20.

Speaker: What's the accuracy? Eight? Eight. you Okay.

Speaker: There's a ten? A little too close for my comfort. so Okay, so ten, and then my damage is what? two d six plus eight. plus eight, so...

Speaker: plus eight so

Speaker: That is 4 and a 3, so that is 7 plus... I already forgot. What you say it was? 8. 8, so 7 plus 8 is 15.

Speaker: Yep.

Speaker: And then plus my physical, which is 7, so You said that's physical or special? That's physical. So, wait, what did it say? What was the final damage?

Speaker: Uh, it was 22 physical. Oh, very close. Okay. Uh, so that's gonna do 13 damage. That brings him down to the brink of death.

Speaker: Ooh, so question. Do I want to use rollout and kill him? Or should I try to bring e like, back? Or, uh, hollow back? at He comes back at the end of combats, though.

Speaker: Oh, then... wait, he's underneath 250% health, so I can... I'm gonna use Brine.

Speaker: Okay. Instead of... No, I use Rollout. Okay, that's right. We never did implement Stab into the system, did we?

Speaker: No, we didn't. No, we didn't. I roll a 15, that hits. So... I deal 1d6... 3... 5, 6, 7, 8.

Speaker: sort me five six seven eight So, 8 times 8, er, times. 16 times 2 is 32 damage.

Speaker: Physical. Alright, that is going to be enough to knock him out, because he only had 5 HP. Ah, alright. all right

Speaker: Hooray! Hooray! They're dead. Robin immediately goes with gold on assassin's body. There is a bag of 1,500 on the hitman's body, which you can now leave. We can now buy all the Bonsleys we need. Don't say it like that.

Speaker: hey this is the fifteen hundreds me

Speaker: Oh, we're gonna get cancelled so hard in this episode, aren't we? I know, so... ah Okay, with that, the the keep of the castle has been destroyed. you have brought him down along with X. is um I'm not sure how you guys plan on getting back to town...

Speaker: We roll out. We roll out. Autobots, roll out. you guys are going to roll back to town? Yep, and make sure to use rollout before Sigil can use the coffee cat. Coffee cat.

Speaker: So you guys are going to roll out back home for six and a half days? Yes. I'm sure we can roll out faster than the carriage is moving. I bet we could make it in four.

Speaker: And we dig it's we won't be stopped by muggers. yeah Yeah, any muggers who try to stop three people that are actively using rollout down the road... Oh my god, imagine that. We just... home and We just... Let's get these max power rollouts.

Speaker: Wait, hold on. Are you guys locked into rollout until you hit someone? Yeah. so Oh no! Wait, so you guys have to find a bunch of krauts. Like, like, like bowling pins.

Speaker: Oh my god, let's roll all the way back to the castle and hit some Bonsleys or something. We hit the one Bonsley we left on, like, the coffin. on Oh yeah, it's the the Bonsley is walking back home after we took it and gave it to a dead guy and just sees all three of us rolling at it.

Speaker: yeah Jesus. That's a perfect image to end on. A sunset of three balls rolling towards Bondslie into the sunset.

Speaker: Oh yeah, the Bondslie's just trying to run away. not to get hit.
