Obviously, as we know, has been a bit of a tumultuous time for them, um having... uh Anjan for about a month and then getting Sean Dyson most recently as well so a lot of change on the forest side um for once probably more drama on the forest side than there was on the United side coming into this game um but nonetheless got a draw and um I suppose we're a little bit disappointed that we can't get three points based off the the nine points that we've gathered before this but sometimes you just have to to kind of take the draw and and move on with it but um

It is crucially important, but we don't have much cover in that position. um And the cover that we do have isn't fantastic, as we know. So it's really, really important to have Casemiro there and performing really well. and you know, he's not absolutely really, really tall or really massive, but he gets his head on so much when it comes to corners. You know, a lot of the goals that he scored for us has been from from headers, um and he is a real, real threat in the box as well. kind of going back to our own frailties a bit where you know corners and crosses into the box and we were missing harry mcguire you know it has to be said um there was a ah few aerial jewels that we just weren't able to win and weren't able to get the ball away quick enough for those goals for forrest i mean the one from morgan gives white it was a great header to be fair it kind of it uh kind of a glancing header, but also I kind of had to put it back into the far corner. But the way it bend around from the outside of the post into the inside of the post, and it was a brilliant header. And to be fair, I don't think there was much that Le Mans could have done.

um But yeah, just kind of missing a bit bit of that presence in the box. And then for the second goal for Forrest, you know, there was a couple of duels that went in the air and and we just weren't strong enough. De Ligt and Jaro and Shaw just weren't able to to get enough on it to actually clear the ball. um And then it drops to drops at the forest player and he smashes it home um from kind of point-blank range, I suppose, with Le Mans. So really, really not much he could do there. But...

So looking at the Man United website, um just after the weekend, there was a poll that went up. there was a All the kind of players were were put that together in terms of who the fans thought was man of the match. And you know convincing, convincing winner. 52% of the vote went to Ahmad, 20% to Casemiro. So Ahmad, definitely the standout player from the fans' perspective when it when it came to the game at the weekend. um Interest and comments as well from Amram after the game. you know Obviously...

Ahmad was giving his usual, you know delighted to get my first goal of the season, but the goal doesn't really mean too much because we didn't get the three points, but you know happy that it could secure the the first point. you know Very media-trained answer, so that's fine. We're happy with that. and But what Amarim was saying was, you know, Ahmad has a lot of talent. He's growing up really fast.

Our whole right side is going to be gutted with Ahmad leaving and Mbormo leaving as well. And the partnership that they've struck up on the right-hand side is really, really key to United's success over the last few games.

um As a defender, it's an absolute nightmare. I mean, you've got Brian Mbwemo, who's on fire and who's an excellent player and has been playing really, really well in the Premier League for many years now. And then you kind of have this young talent, Ahmad, who is underlapping, overlapping Mbwemo, who's providing options you don't know who to push out on.

um Both of them are just as dangerous in the final third as well. you know so So there's a lot of kind of impact that's been made on the right-hand side there, and Ahmad is a big, big reason why that's being successful.

I mentioned that he can play in lots of different positions. He's currently playing in that right-wing-back position. We saw him being so good for Amarim towards the end of the season in that right-hand of the number 10, so being able to switch into Mbembo's spot and you know have ah have a more of a defensive structure there if you wanted as well. But You know, we mentioned that there's a lot of young talent as well within this team and they're continuously trying to develop that young talent and help them in all the different details that need to be done.

And i think that's really, really nice to see as a fan. You know, you have Lennie Yaro there. You have Sen Le Mans, who's quite young as well as a goalkeeper. You have Sesko up front. You have Ahmad.

You know, there's real talent there. There's Kabi Menou that he's trying to kind of develop into that team as well and develop into a ah starting role. um So, yeah, there's a lot of kind of young talent that Amarim is kind of managed there as well. And there is a nice mix of experience. You know, you have in that back line, you have De Ligt and Shaw, who's kind of um guiding Yaro there.

You have, you know, Cunha and Mbwemo who are kind of linking up with Sesco. You have Bruno and Casemiro in midfield kind of talking through with Kobe on what positioning needs to be in training, et cetera.

and So yeah, there is a nice balance there, but it's just about continuing to to nurture that talent and continue to to help them grow. um Yeah, they're there's other things that he mentioned as well around, you know, you can see that in the first half, he had some opportunities in a lot of the games.

He's coming inside. The shot isn't there yet. So that's kind of things that he's working on. you know Ahmad will understand when to go, when not to go, when to shoot, when not shoot, when to cross, when not.

And that's just repetition within that right wing back role as well. you know That's quite a new position for him. and He wouldn't have played there traditionally. I don't think a lot of the players would have played in these positions traditionally. you know Everyone's kind of trying to figure out where they fit within this system and what their attributes, um what be what tributes best kind of suit this system as well. And and that's what he's going to be continued to try and to work out as well. So yeah, plenty of positives to take from the weekend.

um Once again, great to get another point on the board. you would have taken it at the start of the season. As I mentioned, yes, Forrest have been going through a bit of a rocky patch as well, and but you definitely would have taken it. And I suppose 10 points in the last four games, we can't really complain too much. work We're in and amongst it.

And it's funny how football can change now. if you If he loses at the weekend against Spurs, then you know the pressure's back on again, probably. Good that Casemiro continued to to get on it for us as well.
