grievances, but also some positives to take away. And I feel like in this season where there's been so many grievances at the start, there have actually been some pretty good results that have happened along the way. And I feel like it's important that you don't forget that.

Obviously, a we've seen at the time of recording, I've just seen that the Brighton-Aston Villa game is over. through Brighton, three. Aston Villa, four. Far cry from what Manchester City and Fulham managed.

It's a case of now comes that sort of rotation. We haven't had to really rotate since we got knocked out of the Carabao Cup, of the League Cup. And even then, that wasn't really a huge rotation. That was more like a first team with a couple of changes here and there.

But this is the time where injuries will start to ravage us. This is a time when rotation will start to take effect. And whilst that's happened a lot for teams that are playing in Europe and teams that have made it into cop competitions further than Manchester United have, it's really important to remember that this is good to see Manchester United doing you know quite well up in seventh place at the moment, at least at the time of recording, before we play West Ham ah tonight.

But I feel like it's important to remember that the reason we're doing so well, maybe one of the big reasons we're doing so well, is because we haven't had to rotate. you know We haven't needed ah to to rotate for a game. further along, you know, we'll make it, we'll have a good cup run. i feel like we need something this season as well, like and like a nice cup run in the FA Cup is all we've got left in fairness. So I'm not completely ruling out the Premier League, but with Arsenal, I think that, yeah, they won 2-0 against Brentford tonight. They're just gonna ever extend their lead up at the top. of it feels like they're to be a bit uncatchable. If they're top at Christmas, the the stats and the odds are ever in their favour.

um Of course we did because it was the reason Ten Hag got the sack. But from then, it didn't feel like there was any progress. If there was, it was like one step forward and maybe one and a half steps back. Very inconsistent. The fact that we went on a run of wins... this season in all competitions was nice. It was a good feeling you know to to have games back to back that we were winning. It was great fun.

It was nice to have that feeling back. And there have been a couple of difficult results this season. That's, you know... That's by the by. You're always going to have a result every now and again where you just think, I can't believe what that happened. did this that That happened and there's nothing I can do about it. it It happens. It does happen. But... I like to think that you know there is a case that we have slightly turned a corner. I mean, okay, let's let's let's go through it. We had opening day, the loss to Arsenal, where I think we we were all of the volition of, yeah, we could have we could have won the game, but I think we played well and just didn't win. It happens sometimes. You play football, you play it well.

but you don't get the result you feel like you deserve. But that's football sometimes. Then we had the draw against Fulham, which, of course, we were a bit worried. I think alarm bells were there because that was a game we could have and maybe should have won again at certain points in the match. But other points in the match, Fulham were all over us.

And it felt like we were hanging on in there. So it was kind of mixed feelings. of We felt like we could have won that game, but we could so easily lost it as well. and Then we got slaughtered by Brentford. One against Sunderland. One against Liverpool. One against Brighton. And then it just, yeah, couple of draws there. cough cough city cough cough three years ago but point is if you don't get a result like that you just walk away and think what what on earth happened there then it's not a proper season I'm sorry if you you don't have a result that you feel like you should have got a win against by a team that were at the time you know just in the bottom half there they're doing much better now Everton in fairness to them but you know it was a case of what what's the what's happened there what's good on there hey But it was a nice win against Palace to come back from behind. We haven't really had a comeback in that in that sense. And when I come back after this, there's a lot to preview. They've got a lot of games between now and even Christmas.

There's been a lot of rumours on social media about how we are probably quote-unquote coming into an easy part of the season where we're having easy teams. And if you're listening to this, I am doing air quotes because I hardly believe that. Have you seen us recently? There's not really any easy games, let's be honest. But the games we do have, we've got six games coming up in December. We've got Manchester United against West Ham, obviously, tonight. You'll be able to see that at 8 o'clock on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League. Two places at once. It's amazing. Then we have on Monday, we're away at Wolves. 15th of December, we're at home against Bournemouth. 21st of December, away at Villa. 26th of December, Boxing Day, we host Newcastle United. And then the final game of December is the 30th, where we host Wolves. So, yeah, we we we face Wolves twice this month.
