Speaker: Sure. We can also do the other thing. Yeah. Who's doing the intro? You can do it. It's a special 100. Your lady's on. Go for it. oh

Speaker: Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and everybody up, down, all around, inside and outside the gender binary. My name is Danny Guarantee, and with me, as always, is my bestie for the restie, Adam, Mr. Dadom, and...

Speaker: For big episode 100.

Speaker: We've got the lady herself. Mbeluga, come on down.

Speaker: That was good. Good job. ah That was solid. I didn't sound manufactured as much as... Alright, alright. We all have something to learn from everyone I'm learning.

Speaker: No, that was good. That was actually really good. That was really good. Good job. So, yeah we're First of all, 100. one hunt it I didn't know was going to get that far when it started fucking... You didn't? don't know however long ago was that it started. didn't think we were going to reach a hundred I didn't know at the time when I started it, Daniel, that, you know, I thought it was over after five episodes and then eventually I dragged you into it. So you and still have to do five more episodes to have a hundred. Oh, that's right. And below. Yeah. I was going to say, if I knew that, I would have just like waited a few more weeks, like a whole month.

Speaker: Yeah, i know. But, but the number is like symbolic and like, I think people will want to know. that you know we did say episode 100, not 100 episodes together. so That's true.

Speaker: Otherwise, I definitely would have done it. But I realized as I was i was as i was going through it, I was like, man, Danny and i have only had 95 or 96 together. We still need like four or five more. I have to go back and look. Well, we did one episode that was a guest episode, so that one counts. So I think it's like 95 96. I can't but anyway, we have a question.

Speaker: Gany might have some other questions. We have something else that Beluga and I have to talk about that's really important that has been plaguing our friendship for years. You know what? You're right. i don't think I don't think I do need to find another question. I think we've got plenty.

Speaker: We can at least squeeze 20 minutes out of this. Yeah, for sure. Can we do a TO quickie? We'll see. Probably not. Probably not. um Okay, so I'm just going to ask this question that I found because I think it's funny.

Speaker: And Beluga also seemed to find it funny. But the question is from the stupid questions Reddit because we always want to know stupid questions. This is from the stupid questions Reddit from user the Sheep of Death.

Speaker: He's a top 1% poster, by the way. wow So this person asks, him he says, my girlfriend is sleeping on my shoulder. My arm is going numb, but I don't want to move to wake her up.

Speaker: Can I stay like this or can it lead to something more serious? I don't want her waking up at the same time. I don't know if my arm is going to be fine. wall So he's asking if at first when I read it, I thought he meant Will this lead them to something more serious if I let girls lay on my arm? Like, more serious intimately, maybe? But he says to my girlfriends, they're already kind of serious.

Speaker: So he's asking, if I don't let this person get this person off of my shoulder for a long period of time, will I develop something more serious? So, you know... Beluga, you're our guest.

Speaker: You're also the only girl of the three of us that I know of. So, you know, between the, I don't know if Danny's actually a lady down there. Hey. Can you tell me what happens? You're, you're a girl. Have you ever fallen asleep on a person's shoulder on Danny's?

Speaker: Well, you know, i'm definitely curious to hear Dan's scientific answer. Ha ha ha ha! As the You know me too well. was sitting you're like, yeah, I know it would actually happen. the The medic of the group.

Speaker: ah Have I fallen asleep on like anyone's shoulder? i'm I've fallen asleep on Dan's shoulder plenty of times, especially on an airplane. mean...

Speaker: i mean

Speaker: and Are you looking for a serious answer? You can answer this however you want. Open season. Whatever you want to answer. You can give both answers if you want. You can do whatever. This is serious answer. That's the beauty of the show. I would say that like She's not going to be sleeping on you long enough that something bad is going to happen.

Speaker: Unless, like, she's dead. then you like, you know, push her off. Oh, no, she has died. That's very rude. Call 911 or something like that.

Speaker: ah Can't reach my phone. She's lying on my shoulder. Joking in. Sorry, dude, you gotta to get it cut off. You're, you know, that arm's dead. Have you ever, like...

Speaker: like I have had maybe two or three times in my life where I have fallen asleep on my own arm like some way. Like I rolled a certain way or I was sleeping on my stomach and my arm or at least my forearm to some degree got so numb that I generally couldn't feel it anymore. And I woke up in alarm because my body said, hey, you just lost your arm. And so like it took a long time to like get it going. Have you guys ever done that?

Speaker: i've here I've never thought like, oh my god, I lost my arm. you have it? I have had it where i like can't feel it. Honestly, that happens frequently for me.

Speaker: Oh, really? Like you sleep on like um in your arms or your feet? or ah It's mostly my arms, usually when I'm sleeping on the couch. like like I take a lot of naps on the couch, so it's usually like when I'm... Like lot.

Speaker: Like every morning. Hey man, I love couch naps. So like, I try to sleep in a way where it won't happen, but

Speaker: Yeah, that doesn't, that never happens. So like, yeah, it it falls asleep quite often and it's just like completely numb and I actually have to like lift it with my other arm. Yeah, I've literally had to do that. where I'm just like, oh, I can't.

Speaker: I actually, I, sometimes my knee will fall asleep, which is a really weird one. My knee. How does that work? I don't know. Like below the knee above the knee like the knee ah the knee the bone baloney Well, like, I guess, like, all of the nerves and stuff around it, like the, you know, it's the blood. But, like, can still stealal your foot and everything? Or is it yeah just the knee? That's such an interesting spot, specifically. mean, obviously, I've had my foot fall. I've had, like, just about everything fall asleep. But I've had my, yeah, my knee will fall asleep sometimes. Oh, what kind of position are you in where your knee does that? I kind of want to recreate it.

Speaker: Okay, so here's the thing. The couch that we sit on, you know, I get like one length of the couch and, you know, I have two pillows that support me and then from sitting in the same way all the time, there is a dip between the two cushions.

Speaker: So I think what happens is that, like, my butt is like, lower than my legs, and then my knee just falls asleep. All the blood, like, runs away from your legs. Yeah. It'll, like, it'll go, like, either to my foot or it'll go to my butt, but it'll just be away from my knee.

Speaker: you have to You have to realize this girl has almost no circulation as far as I know. She is ice cold even in the dead heat of summer.

Speaker: I'm actually sweating right now. Good for you. I was going to say, it's little toasty. Good for you. You're sweating. Yeah. Dang. All right. You know I know people who have to do this all the time. Well, we don't. We don't have ah working AC again.

Speaker: shucks. Like, it somewhat works. it We have to turn it on and off. Oh, yeah i mean yeah. We're running low on Freon. I find that interesting. So like you're kind of in like a U shape almost. Yeah, like like a U or like a V or something like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker: And so the blood must run like down, yeah like you said, towards your butt or towards your feet and just leaves like a vacant space yeah in the middle. That's very interesting. I never thought about that. It's kind of funny. its kind I kind of want to create it to see if I can see what that feels like because I don't think I've ever felt that.

Speaker: It was very weird. It happened to me before and like I was trying to nap and it was bothering me and I'm like trying to figure out, okay, how do I get the blood back to my knee? Do I need to stand up? you need to lay like face down but with your legs off the couch and just dangle it.

Speaker: Right. yeah i ah it What's weird is like I can still walk normally with it. So like I'll like get up to go to the bathroom and like hope that it happens. But like like I don't like walk weird from it like I would like any other part of my leg falling asleep.

Speaker: m Weird. Interesting. I thought for sure that would just make everything not work. Yeah. I don't know. Okay. maybe i just't have Maybe I just have specifically bad circulation to my knees.

Speaker: yes i got I'll probably get those like was it like spider veins behind the knees when I'm older. Oh, yeah. Those are stiless. Yeah, I think that's what those are.

Speaker: i wonder if you can recreate that to make your the same area, like the equivalent of like your elbow area, fall asleep. Maybe. If just did... No, it'd have to be the opposite. I'd be like... you'd have to Yeah, you'd have to be like this for a while.

Speaker: Yeah, so the circulation goes down. ah Solid maybe. i wonder if that's what this question asker is experiencing. you know like Is it the forearm? Is it the elbow? Is it just the shoulder that you can't feel?

Speaker: Danny, you have a scientific answer you you want to ask? Of course I do. um But... First, I wanted to say that I also know what you're talking about, but for me, it's the legs.

Speaker: um Not so much anymore, but when I was still on Ozempic and Manjaro and all that stuff, I had a very nasty side effect that would hit at night, and I'd have to go to the bathroom for a while.

Speaker: And it would take about two hours to go away. So after sitting on the toilet for two hours, I would get up, and you would think I just had a double, like... Prosthetic leg transplant or something. I'm literally like a newborn deer just floundering around. I don't feel anything from the ebb down.

Speaker: And it takes a good like... minute for all the feeling to come back and it comes back then goes away again and then comes back but worse like hurts a lot i've experienced that but i never for two hours but like i think it's just like if you lean forward a lot like especially if you're got a phone or reading something or you're just bored you're leaning forward i think you just cut off circulation there Very strange.

Speaker: I always worry about like clocking my head on the sink and dying. And I don't want to die in the bathroom. It's like one of my it would be pretty embarrassing. Yeah. Even if I have my clothes on, i just like even if my pants are up, I don't want to die in the bathroom. This is such a just an awful place to go.

Speaker: um I have. But now I've had. Girls fall asleep on my shoulder like Beluga. And yeah, it can, like, because you can't just sit there, you know, like normal.

Speaker: You have to dip that shoulder a bit. You know, especially like when you have a shorter, Mrs. or shorter significant other.

Speaker: So I've definitely had that happen. And that arm does start to fall asleep after a while. Are you talking about if they're sitting right next to you or if like you're laying down? Because I'm imagining like, I'm laying down and she's like on my mean, really Oh, no, no, no. I was picturing on the shoulder. Like she's sitting next to me and leaning on my shoulder. Oh, see. Okay. I would have to dip my shoulder to be like a good height for her.

Speaker: Right. um Laying down, not as bad. Really? But doing the shoulder, I definitely have had my arm fall asleep from that.

Speaker: um Which... Like Beluga said, it wouldn't be a problem on its own. She probably wouldn't sleep that long. But it would be hella uncomfortable.

Speaker: And since you want the science answer, you know, if you waited too long, you could get a blood clot in your arm and that would hurt like a mofo. You'd probably have to get the arm amputated if you didn't deal with it fast enough. Or the clot would break off, end up in your lungs or your heart, and you'd have a bigger problem.

Speaker: Now, how long would she have to be asleep there before it clotted? It would have to be probably a while, or she would have to do it enough that it like builds up over time.

Speaker: Because that's a big problem with like sitting too much without stretching your legs and stuff, is you can develop a blood clot in your legs. especially if you're diabetic and have bad circulation down there, the blood's not moving around as much, it'll start to clot in your veins the same way it does when you have a cut.

Speaker: So are you saying I should be more stricter on you going for walks then? Yes. I mean, we probably should, but no, the circulation to my feet and legs are fine. Thank you.

Speaker: Right now, but if you're going to keep sitting, then I should be taking you for more walks. I got to walk my Danny. You got to walk your Danny. Well, thankfully, I don't think staying in shape is going to be a problem soon.

Speaker: Once I have this warehouse job, I think I'll be moving around quite enough. Thank you. Yeah, that or standing in one space for a long time. i don't know how that's going to be working. Sounds like a lot of standing and sometimes having to lift up to 50 pounds.

Speaker: They say that, but it's probably not. Yeah. How often are people lifting 50 pounds alone? I mean, 50 pounds of edibles is enough to kill a person, I'm sure.

Speaker: You mean like if you eat them all at once or if you hit somebody with them? Yes. In both situations. Right. OK, OK, gotcha. So.

Speaker: Beluga, okay, so here's what I would do. And then let me ask you as ah as a lady. Lady. She's a lady. If I got a girl that's sleeping on my arm h and like, you know, my arm's falling the fuck asleep and I need to move, I'm just like...

Speaker: Gentle roll over. Put you over there. That way I can have my arm back. And then usually, at at least the people I've had, were just like they just go back to sleep. you know Or they'll just be like, everything good? And like, yeah, dog, you were just killing me. And they're like, cool. And then they go back to sleep. Do do you prefer to know that Danny suffers so that you can be comfortable I mean, always. Or do you prefer that he lets you know? And if so, what is the way to let you know? Like, oh, hey, I need you to move. My arm might be need amputated. Okay, so obviously for a guy, it's really going to depend on the girl's attitude. And if she's the type to get pissed at you for something like this, then just break up with her. Like if she were to get mad at you for like...

Speaker: Not waking her up all weekend in her dream. yeah Yeah. Well, no, I think that that one's legitimate. Oh, that one's legitimate. Yeah. Anyway, um as the girl being woken up, um I mean, Dan can just like wake me up and tell me like I wouldn't be able to move an inch without her waking up. Yeah, I'm ah a light sleeper. So like he can either just wake me up and tell me or he can move and I'll wake up on my own.

Speaker: Like, if he, like, were to, like, adjust to try and get more comfortable, I'd just end up waking up anyway. Yeah, that's the secret right there for the gals who sleep a little bit heavier is you just adjust. Yeah. You know, like, oh, and I wake you and then just shove her over. We've had it a few times when she sleeps on my arm at a plane on a plane. I'll, you know, shift a little bit or move, adjust my arm and she'll wake up and I'll say, like, no, you're good. You can.

Speaker: Lay back on my arm now. I'm good. I try to make it more comfortable for both of us by kind of using the... Yeah, we have like those neck pillows. The neck pillows as like an actual pillow. I don't know if that helps you at all, but I think it helps me a little bit.

Speaker: Yeah. Because like then like I'm not like I get it. Laying on my arm is like laying on a brick house. I get it. So do you can i ask an unrelated but somewhat related question?

Speaker: Do carry on pillows count as your carry on? Well, I just clip it to my backpack, so it's just part of my Yeah, technically it's part of the backpack now. You can't no takesie-backsies.

Speaker: Oh, is that a loophole? but like But like, you know, like when they're like, you're taking off and going down and they're like, you have to have like your stuff under your seat. They let me keep it in my lap.

Speaker: Hmm. Interesting. Okay. Yeah, I wasn't sure because I heard that that could count as a carry-on or something. We've never had a problem it. It's like attached to my backpack, so it's like it's part of that. I don't I I would think it'd be really stupid to see that as a separate carry on than the backpack.

Speaker: Yeah, I agree. I just don't know how serious they get about shit, especially spirit. Most of the time, you're like, you know, as soon as you're sat down, you're wearing it. So it's not like it's getting in the way. Yeah. And we never went on spirit because we have standards.

Speaker: Yeah. Well, Spirit was keeping the cost of other tickets down and now that they're not there anymore. I'm just joking. you the Spirit was awful, but they at least kept Delta check. I mean, they're all awful. There's no good airlines. Yeah. um Okay, so we've learned move the person or, you know, ah but if they don't, for this person's question, could it lead to something more serious after a while?

Speaker: Amputation, probably. Blood clots. death Yeah, it could be a problem if it happened all the time. But, you know, just get up. Move your arm around a little bit when she gets up. I actually looked into this question a little bit and I did see that they had a follow-up Apparently right after they typed this out and asked on Reddit, the girlfriend woke up, so... Doesn't even matter.

Speaker: No, he typed that while... Yeah, apparently he typed all that while. It's okay, I'm safe, my arm is fine, it's still attached for now. Okay.

Speaker: It's only a little gray. Crisis averted. averted.

Speaker: Oh, I just ah reopened it back up and I saw one that said permanent brachial plexus injury incoming. to Say goodbye to the arm, but at least she has a good nap. Make sure to tell her. What you do is you get the arm amputated, but then taxidermied and stuffed so that she can use it as an actual pillow.

Speaker: Yeah, I actually enticed and inspired a former supervisor of mine at the dance studio to fashion an arm pillow for me because I used to fall asleep in this corner chair with a little table and I'd fall asleep like a desk, like a student during my lunch hour because I was always sleepy as fuck.

Speaker: And But I always like had to wake up because my forearm was getting so numb or or or so or tingly. And so i was like, man, I don't know how in this day and age we don't have like ah just a big ass cushion sleeve, kind of like a pool noodle where you can just have like an arm pillow built into your clothes that you can just fall asleep on.

Speaker: She misinterpreted it, but still did something really sweet where she made a sleeve that had like a small pillow that she crafted. on it so i could just like slip it on and that just go to sleep i'll be honest kind of cool i don't know how we don't have that so if no one's invented that i mean i know that they make pillows that are like a torso with arms so that you can go to sleep and hug you you know have it hug you yeah but i don't want that i just need like a fucking sleeve that i can just pull out of my backpack yeah this is for sleeping you know

Speaker: Or like if i fall asleep against a window or something, like I have something comfortable. Oh, there you go. Like ah a palm pillow. So you could just kind of do one of these. A palm pillow! A palm pillow. Yeah, a palm pillow TM. This is where, Mbeluga, this is where most of our crazy item ideas come from. It's just bullshitting on this. we have so Yeah, sometimes a good idea hits and you just have to figure out what you're going to with it. I completely understand...

Speaker: It's like we can get that and we can make the bumper stickers. The bumper sticker. Yeah, the bumper stickers. Yeah. The ones for your bum. Bumper? I hardly know her. Exactly. You get it. You get it.

Speaker: I barely know her. Why she on my shoulder? Unless it's that one girl. Then I know her. I know her quite well. Get her away from me. yeah I will bump her. her little bit There is my wife, so, you know, I'll bump her. Yeah, I'll bump my Yeah, I'll bump my wife. Who wouldn't?

Speaker: Who wouldn't bump your wife? Who wouldn't bump my wife? Listen, I have my wife. You are Dan's husband, you know? Yeah, hey it's fine. It's okay, you know? He's my dad. um We have a weird little, not exactly polycule, but like a trade-off polycule system or something. Yeah.

Speaker: The swingers club. Yeah, the swingers club. yeah to be You have to be under this tall to ride. so i I don't know if I even told Kimmy this. Actually, I might have told Kimmy this, but I didn't tell you yet.

Speaker: um My sister thought you were Kimmy's boyfriend. Your sister thought I was Kimmy's boyfriend? Yeah. I could see that because Nick wasn't anywhere to be seen. He wasn't there. yeah it was it was last year. You were like playing with my nephews and...

Speaker: um we were you were hanging with Kimmy and whatnot. Yeah. And um so this year, like my sister was like, oh, is your friend's boyfriend coming? And I'm like, I'm not even going to bother to correct her. I don't, I don't want to have to get into the whole like description. That's why just like, no, he can't make it. That's just the guy that comes and whoops all the kids. So that's who that is. It's how he makes his money. He gets money. I just bully kids until they give me $20.

Speaker: dollars Since I'm a glorified babysitter, really. Just all the kids just want to come and talk. Yeah, trust me. We really missed you this last party. Yeah, there was more kids. Oh, really? More kids, and one of them was just little girl Adam.

Speaker: Yes. Aw, man. I'm sure that she was hilarious. She was adorable. How old was little girl, Adam? Like seven or eight? Seven or so, Perfect age to realize how funny you are.

Speaker: I realized it a little bit sooner than that. more about mushrooms than I would ever have known. She likes a fun guy. I can understand. you She was telling me all about how the mushroom growing in our side yard was either this totally normal mushroom that is safe to eat and like a delicacy or the deadliest mushroom in the world. And i was like, okay, well. There are some that look very identical. Yeah, I was like, that's fair. I'm not going to test it.

Speaker: Yeah, but a lot of those ones don't, like, they grow. don't eat it, girl. they grow i mean, they can grow anywhere, but a lot of them have to be in very specific, like, forested areas. Like, you're not going to find a deadly mushroom in the middle of your yard. But well the prop they do look similar. We did get a lot of mushrooms this year from all the rain.

Speaker: It's been so wet that it's just everywhere. Isn't that interesting that you just have like a big ass just living organism under your grass that's just mycelium everywhere? Yeah, I'm like, you den know where did they even come from? Because we had no mushrooms last year.

Speaker: So they must have just like maybe next to the little bit of forest next to us. They just spread underground. and Yeah. It's one big colony of fucking mycelium just hanging out under everybody's yards.

Speaker: Mm-hmm. incredible that's big mushroom too that we were able to just kind of pull out of the ground they look almost fake with just like how big some of those motherfuckers get yeah we get it we get them too because like we're on like a we're on a hill but we're at the bottom of the top of a hill so like a lot of water runs down to us and then runs down to everyone else that's below us so like we get a lot we catch a lot of flows downhill everyone it flows downhill we're not fully at the top but we're top middle top

Speaker: I don't know. I can imagine if it was like a top hat or like on the rim of of the mountain. You see, Adam's not quite a top, but he's not quite a bottom. Not really a bottom either. I'm more of a rim. more It's more of a rim Oh, no. yeah He's more of a rim guy. i don't really know what to call that. a switch perhaps I don't know if you want to be called a Rim Guy. yeah I know. I think Rim Guy is exactly what you'd call that. Rim Guy is a good name. I would watch that movie.

Speaker: I wouldn't. I feel like I'd find it on Pornhub. No, he's a guy that like he shows up and like saves your car. He gives you a new Rim. So he, okay, he comes down, he gets on his knees, and he gives you a rim. Okay. yeah yeah It's his job. it's right it gives you a rim job to buy two car works. Illegal?

Speaker: No, an illegal has nothing to do with this. Yo, that eagle is sick. That's a sick-ass eagle, bro. don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker: um Okay, should we switch subjects to the thing that we should talk about? If you want. I feel like this has been on everyone's mind. We're finally going to cover something that has been plaguing this friendship.

Speaker: This is the most serious topic that has ever been on this show ever. hu Write in, comment in and all this and see whose side you would go you agree with.

Speaker: I'm just going to sit here and enjoy this ride. i already already know who everyone's going to have a side with if they play the game. People just don't have us any spirit. That's all.

Speaker: Okay. So essentially what happened and correct me if I'm out of pocket was we used to play Stardew Valley together back in the day, like a couple of years ago, probably. I can't remember like when yeah it was definitely a little while ago. Yeah. It's been a couple years by now, I think. Um,

Speaker: And everybody just had a little job, right? My thing was I like to go underground and be in the mines all day and bring back all sorts of shiny things. And then if I got anything that was special, I would call it out and Beluga would go, oh, I could use that for a bundle in the museum or whatever. What's it called? The community center.

Speaker: And so i was like, OK, cool. Then I would just leave them in a little box and make a home little system for her to just take all these nice shiny things that I didn't know what to do with. and, you know, on her way and she could have all these nice things.

Speaker: But sometimes when you're underground, you find these things called geodes and there's a whole slew of different ones. But on the earlier floors are just called geodes and you have to go pay a guy. 25 wing wangs.

Speaker: Not wing-wangs. 25 wing-wangs to crack it open for a random chance at something that could maybe be in there when usually it's a couple lumps of coal or like a stick or some shit.

Speaker: And so like... could use... All of it. But I found so many other ones. I chopped down trees. I bring you coal from the mines. And so what I would do, and only the little baby ones that sucked ass, not the big ones that I would find in later floors, they all have like an adjective attached to them. So would be like magma geode or...

Speaker: ah Frozen Geode. Omni Geode, Frozen Geode, whatever. i would never I would never do this any of the ones, but I used to sell every now and then if I had a couple extra Geodes that were just these little pieces of shit that I could get like, what, 20 gold from if I sold versus paying 25 gold to crack open on a random chance to get something that's not a piece of shit.

Speaker: And so I would just throw those in the dumpster that, well, it's a dumpster. It's like a box that people give you money for at the end of the day or whatever. So Beluga refuses to play the game with me because I would sell the little piece of shit geodes because for some reason. So go ahead. I want to make something very clear.

Speaker: The reason isn't just because you would sell the geodes. Is it because I shoot the dog?

Speaker: unit are just a drop in there No, no context. No, the reason is because as soon as you found out that it bothered me, you would do it more.

Speaker: Well, ah but the thing was, we were always streaming it. And so you would just watch me do it like you would. People would be peeking to see and they would tattle on me if I was doing it. and they not I couldn't even do it in secret and not tell you about it because people would tell you.

Speaker: So i figuregative do I figured if you didn't know, then like, then we'd be fine. So then when I stopped trying to be, do it to be annoying to you, people would still tell on me. And so I didn't do it to hurt you after that point. People go, Adam's selling geodes.

Speaker: And meanwhile, I'm bringing back. Diamond, I'm bringing to you. me and doing it behind my back is still ah hurting me just because I don't know about it. I want to, as a third party who has nothing to do with this, I was not even in this Stardew group, I'll be honest.

Speaker: Oh, that's true. You weren't originally. want to give a little bit of context to everything, okay? didn't shoot the dog. Mbeluga. Has a very specific way of playing video games. She likes to play it her way.

Speaker: And, you know, she she has her system. Some would even say she has a spreadsheet for this game. I don't have a... Oh, yes, I do. I do have a spreadsheet for this game. Yes, you absolutely do. Yes, I do. But it's only for my community center in one year run. It's not for just playing the game casually. Now...

Speaker: she So she has her very set way of playing games, which is fine. As long as you're having fun, you're playing a game correctly. She...

Speaker: ah Adam, on the other hand... Oh, and Mbeluga and I are both foot are colloqui colloquially known as loot goblins.

Speaker: We like to hoard everything. We like to loot everything. collect every time. Listen, you know when you'll need that potion at the end of the game. You might need those 99 potions. Yeah.

Speaker: Adam, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. He is not a loot goblin. I'm in the minority in the gaming community, for sure. will absolutely just pass by loot, and I will follow behind him and just vacuum it up.

Speaker: But i also know you're going to. He's also an agent of chaos in video games. Not on purpose. just to give a little context on that, uh,

Speaker: I played a different game, me and Adam, where you could lose your house in like three days if you don't get enough money together or get a special piece of paper, like a permit saying, like you can keep your house. OK, well, that was different. Adam took the piece of paper and convinced me he sold it and so that we couldn't keep the house. And I was distraught because I was like, well, I need the house.

Speaker: Also, we played Project Zomboid and Adam wanted to try something and he ended up burning down an entire hotel that we were using as our base. That was- I didn't do it on purpose. This was- I was trying to figure out how to- This was a group of like five of us and he burned down our entire base. I remember you burning down at least one building on purpose.

Speaker: Well, i added to it later when I was like, it's already burning. i was like, fuck it. Once you realized there was no saving it. Once I realized there was no saving fuck But like i I had never used a throwing weapon before. And so i had a cocktail, a Molotov cocktail. And so I was trying to figure out what the lighting and throwing mechanism was. And like i didn't I thought it was light it, then throw it.

Speaker: But how the game worked was the moment you light it, your character throws it. And I didn't know that. So like I was going to be like, oh, hey, Danny, I figured it out. and I was going to walk out and show you and then throw it into the pool. But like I'm doing was just throwing it at the TV. I was like, that's cool, man. That's spreading real quick.

Speaker: And we were the only purpose most of the time. we were the only two get online at the time. But right after that happened, as it was burning down, people started logging back in and they're like, oh, hey guys, what's going on? I'm like, hey, Adam just burned down our entire base. Okay.

Speaker: Now that was an accident. The Dean thing in the other video game where I pretended like I sold something important. Yeah, that was me just giving you a hard time. Yeah. but i can' I'm not taking sides. I'm just providing context so that people know.

Speaker: Umbeluga, very strict with how she plays games. Perfectly fine. Adam, complete opposite Chaos Gremlin. I don't call Chaos on purpose most of the time, though. Also, I will say, um as far as Stardew goes, I hate the game.

Speaker: I'm addicted, which is why I need to play it a very specific way for me to even find a little bit of joy in this game. I don't even think you can play that game with other people anymore because you're so like wrapped up in the one year.

Speaker: oh you can't. play with Kimmy. That's right. That's right. and there there was a wild for me There was a while there where you were like, I can't even play this game like for fun anymore. It's I've been so wrapped up in this complete in a year quest. I can play it more quote unquote casually with people, um you know, but like at the same time, i still need it to be kind of organized play. See, I did all the fishing before. Remember, I got really good at it. I got good at fishing, getting all them rare ones.

Speaker: I found all them rare things underground for you. And I thought, you have all these things to go and fill up the museum. I'm helping so much. I don't care if it's just some coal or clay. I need every piece of it. But if you have a whole box of coal. I need every piece of it. For the listeners, Adam has since apologized and promised that if they play again, he won't sell any more geodes.

Speaker: And Mbeluga has not forgiven him or let them play together again. Again, just context. I am not siding with either person. so this is a game just for people who don't know. It's like a farming, not exactly a farming simulator, but like it's a little chill game. It's a little 2D, I guess what the kids call cozy game where like, you know, you inherit a farm and you got to clean it up and then you you live in like a little town of like, what, 20 people?

Speaker: um And and people it's like a romance simulator. You can romance people there. You can be their friend. You can do like little tasks for them, give them presents and stuff and kind of learn a lot of history, which I've never funny enough.

Speaker: Adam and Adam in that game is not an extrovert. I don't give a fuck to know anybody in that town. but Give me a sword. Give me a fishing rod and ah and ah and a mining pick. And I'm going to go underground. I'm going to go to lakes and the oceans. And i want to go do those things.

Speaker: Don't give a fuck to know anybody in that town. I don't care. Um, you know, so it's just funny that that's like where the divide is for me, you know, but, but it's just like a little simulator game where you just do things and you sell and you make money, you grow crops, just a little cozy game.

Speaker: The least cozy, cozy game I know. yeah You have to understand, um we are all you know this this game is for like millennials and under so it's a fantasy game because we make money because we can we make money we own property yeah we make money and we own property it's something that you know isn't really true to life so also that we went from working into an office to being able to cut down a tree without any problem yeah with no experience whatsoever no no no multiple trees a day well Where are you getting this muscle from? me Because I can tell you that if I had to like move onto a farm and start cutting down a freaking tree...

Speaker: I'd be fucked. Who'd have thought that the mine's full of monsters would be one of the least fantastical things in that game? Yeah. and and And you go fight monsters, and they're like, yeah, cool, man. Here's a shitty little sword. Go for it. go knife some Go knife some monsters underground. Like, okay, cool. I didn't have that in my office, so I just... Okay. I'm still waiting for the game to come along that like perfectly merges Stardew Valley with like a dungeon crawler. I'm waiting for it. i know There's been a bunch of them, but none of them have hit the the perfect balance yet.

Speaker: Also, like, who who mines rocks on their property? Who just mines rocks? Oh, you mean in real life? Yeah, like, who grabs a pickaxe and mines stone that is just on their property? To be fair, if, say, i found, you know, we lived in a more mountainous area, and I found, like, a geode, or, like, a...

Speaker: a large seam of some kind of gem. You'd put it on Facebook. You bet your ass I'd be mining that out. Yes, no, I'm not talking about, like, you know, if you got, like, ore on your property. I'm talking about there is just a piece of stone and it's in your way. yeah, yeah. Because apparently you can't just walk around or step over it or whatever and you just start mining it. Like...

Speaker: I don't even own a pickaxe, guys. Who owns a pickaxe? I own a pick. What's it called? matic. We have a mall. We can use that.

Speaker: Yes, true. yeah guys You guys don't have a matic? You should get one. Those things are really. No, we don't have a matic. I don't know what a matic is. It's like picture of it. It's like a pick and a shovel and a scythe? Yeah, there's two. It's a whole bunch of stuff all together. Yeah, there's two different ones you can get. forget what the other one it's like a pickaxe and shovel or something. it's pickaxe on one end and like the picture like a hammer.

Speaker: Where like the part is that like you rip apart, you rip out nails with, but it's just flat. There's no hole in the middle. It's meant for like kind of breaking ground, like easy. And the pickaxe side. those things. Yeah. Okay. I just looked it up. oh Yeah. There's two different kinds. I can't remember what the other one is, but there's, there's always a pickaxe in it and there's something else on the other side. There's like one that's called a Cuttermatic. ah Oh yeah. it's a blade. It a vertical axe blade with a flat adze. A-D-Z-E.

Speaker: to chop to through thick roots and woody growth. Yeah, yeah. I dont i always get scared I'm going hurt myself with the one that has the vertical blade on it, so I always get the matic that has like the the slightly blunter horizontal thing. we The best we have is a maul that has an axe head on one side and a hammer head on the other.

Speaker: Oh, yeah, I had that, too. I also get scared I'm gonna hurt myself with that. That's going to be probably my weapon of choice when the zombies happen. Oh, God, no, not me. I'd kill myself with it. I know for sure. I'd go to swing it back like this and stick it right in my back.

Speaker: Like right away. Right away. I know well I can't have anything. Don't do that. Nope. I need something blunt. So that way I'll just maybe break a bone and not stab myself. Like I just can't. Now I'm picturing you with a hammer and you swinging it back and hitting yourself in the spine and like him paralyzing yourself. He's gonna swing it back, hit himself in the back, push himself forward, and the zombie's just gonna be like, alright.

Speaker: I think the zombies are gonna look at me and be like, man, he's like, he's like kind of too pathetic. the problem is He's the cartoon character that swings it back and hits himself in the back of the head. like the head just flies off. They're gonna look at him and just be like, well, there's no food there.

Speaker: Yeah, like there's no brain. there's and There's nothing in that brain. I don't need that. What's it doing? Starving! Did you ever hear the theory in zombie movies? Again, it's just a theory because like zombies aren't real, obviously, but like that some people postulated that the reason that zombies want to eat brains is because it makes them.

Speaker: They say that zombies are always in pain and eating a brain makes them feel not pain. So that's why they constantly like feasts and they're not satiated because they just don't want to be in pain. How does eating a brain make you not in pain?

Speaker: know maybe there's some chemies maybe they're eating like the chemicals yeah yeah maybe there's some chemicals in there that make them make the bad and feelings go away and so makes me think a lot about that um i'm trying to design a see i i was always thinking about that i was thinking it's um because obvious like usually when you're dealing with zombies you're dealing with some kind of like pathogen or right uh What's it called? A parasite or something.

Speaker: So maybe whatever it is eats brain matter and is starting to starve. So it kind of like the cordyceps, it takes control of your body and says, you need to go and eat more brains so that I can eat the brain matter that you eat.

Speaker: Does that make sense? Yeah, something like that. don't know. just think that should be explored more. I don't know if it has been a lot in other media, but... I digress, but that was just something I was thinking about. since We're talking about fighting zombies.

Speaker: Speaking of fighting. Well, before we before we go to that, you know. Now we're good then, right? Like we're good, right?

Speaker: but look at We're good. We're solid. They have sent like they have played games since we're all playing Remnant together. So like the three of us are a team. I did make a deal with you about something that like if something happened or if we did something or whatever, then I would play Stardew with you. And I don't remember what i don't remember what it was either. You did say if certain requisites were met.

Speaker: yeah I don't know if it was like a planetary thing or or just a like if I'll tell you guys what and I'll say it on here so that it's, you know, there's proof. I can't deny it.

Speaker: Beluga, if you decide to play Stardew with Adam again, I will join in. It could be the three of us or grab Kimmy and it could be the four of us.

Speaker: Yeah, we I mean, we have to start our, like, you know, our family. I have not played since, like, the last big update. Mbeluga keeps telling me about, like, oh there's these green rains or, like, these ferns that show up or a raccoon now.

Speaker: I don't know what any of that is. You can have up to like eight people, I think, on a farm now. and you know So if you two shit if you two decide to play together again, i will join in that game. We can get like us four plus like Squeeps and Alex maybe or something like that How do you distribute responsibilities with that much going on? You have Mbeluga to run it.

Speaker: You couldn't possibly share money amongst eight people. I mean, so you you can choose between... um either sharing like everyone shares in one pot of money or everyone has their own bank account kind i feel like i would want to do shares it's just fair that way i usually prepare prefer that because but yeah i think with the more amount of people you can like do more things and then you can get more money yeah as long as everybody actually does stuff like you'll get eight times the stuff done

Speaker: But like, yeah, the way I would want to do it is like everyone has their jobs. And like, obviously, with so many people, you can have overlapping jobs, especially if not everyone is online at the same time.

Speaker: And then, yeah. And then. Interesting. Yeah. My brain be a little bit happier. Wow. So there you go. There's the offer. Beluga, if you're willing to play with Adam again.

Speaker: I want to see the next update, but I don't want to just play it on my own. There is a 1.7 coming up at some point. haven't even tried 6 I mean, I'm sure everything in 6 will still be in 7. Well, I don't know all of what 7 is adding, but 7 is when they're adding the two new romances.

Speaker: They're adding more romances. Like people who were off limits before. Oh, that's right. g Which I really wish they didn't go at Clint. I want to romance that drunk lady.

Speaker: When can I romance Krobus? Yeah, i want to get her off the sauce. I mean, you can have Krobus as a roommate, but you can't romance him. don't a roommate. I want him as a fuck buddy. want to get her off the sauce. Listen, Krobus came into fucking, so you can't fuck him. Can you bang the wizard?

Speaker: No. Only magically. Damn. You could just get high with him at the very beginning. I saw that, yeah. Have you played Sunhaven? That's kind of like dungeon crawly, but stardewy at the same time. I think I was gonna check it out, but we saw some bad things about it. Yeah, that there were some things about the ah the the creator that was unsavory.

Speaker: Oh, really? I haven't heard anything about that. If I remember right, it was something like refusing to pay people and I have to look into that. I was going to say game itself was quite nice, but... General bad development stuff. I have a list of games I want to try. But on the same vein. In the same vein, I've told Umbeluga before, if I didn't play a game because I didn't like the people that made it, I wouldn't play any game that's not an indie.

Speaker: So... you know I'm willing to give it a try. i won't be happy. I'll probably only get it on a steep discount because I don't want to give the person that much money. but ah yeah if If I didn't get something because I didn't like the makers of it, I would starve.

Speaker: I would die of thirst. yeah And I would never play a video game again. So... Well, you know, it's okay to boycott. Boycotts are good, and you have to just let people know. I'm doing really good on my boycotting. don't mind the idea of boycotting specific things if they're even worse than the normal, but like PlayStation, I'm basically boycotting right now because they're being real big jerks.

Speaker: but there is there is a I just want to say that there is a cozy game that is on my list to try out that just came out recently called Welcome to Elderfield. And I just want to read the description to you. thought you were going to say Welcome to Elden Ring.

Speaker: i I love this description of the game. Welcome to Elderfield, a cozy horror RPG with hand-drawn art and dark lo-fi music. Manage your farm, befriend or romance the locals, investigate mysteries, decorate your home, fight terrifying creatures, fish, cook, seek the old gods, die in your sleep, and more.

Speaker: There's lots to do in Elderfield. wow That does sound fun. Oh, we have to try that one that we downloaded but never played. Where your animals. Hawthorne?

Speaker: Yes. yeah i want to They came out with a proof of concept demo. and we We downloaded it but never tried it. Yeah, I want to try that. I'm definitely curious where that goes as an official product.

Speaker: Like when it's done. Interesting. When are they going add fishing and... and foraging and farming to remnant.

Speaker: tu I wish I could just do all those things in real life and know exactly what I was doing. Yeah, I wish. Look, the first time when I was young, I played the original Animal Crossing and you could turn furniture into a little leaf and put it in your pocket and then pop it back out.

Speaker: The very first thing I said to my friend back then was, I wish I had that power. yeah I wish I could just take anything and just go, put it in my pocket, pull it out, just, boom.

Speaker: There it is. Oh, yeah. It would have made carrying your GameCube to your friend's house a lot easier, wouldn't it? Oh, would have. That's how I got the nickname Pockets, is i I brought my GameCube to my friend's house, and all I was carrying was the GameCube.

Speaker: In my pockets, in my jacket pockets and my pants pockets, I had two controllers, two ah memory cards, three games, and the wiring.

Speaker: who You were like Bugs Bunny with his little cartoon pocket. I remember my friend was like, all you brought was the GameCube. We don't have any of the stuff. i was like, nah. Tink, pink, pink, pinkk pink, pinking pink.

Speaker: It's like the ah scene in um the one part of the Caribbean. Yeah. Don't ask where i was keeping the games.

Speaker: My ah my buddy Josh, who used to co-host this podcast, does shit like that, where like, i don't know if you remember the the what's it called? The Wii U. Mm hmm.

Speaker: But like he would keep the screen thing somehow wearing a pair of jeans in his front pocket. Or like a double-sized XLDS or some shit. What he would do out of nowhere. I couldn't like, we'd just be sitting like in a car or sitting on a couch somewhere.

Speaker: And like, he but you know how most people pull out their phones when they're just like bored or they're just looking for something. They'll like lean back and reach so deep into his pockets. And it just, just it's almost like ah like one of those like never-ending scarves. just like, I just see like electronic, like a giant ass Game Boy coming out of his pocket that definitely shouldn't fit there. And it's like bigger than my head.

Speaker: It is unfair how much room are in men's pockets versus women's pockets. I agree. I agree, too. remember in the 90s, my phone could have fit in my pockets fully, fully covered.

Speaker: Now, it covers like a third of my phone. Yeah, it's it's ridiculous seeing her try to put her phone in her pocket and it's still just hanging out. i'm like, you guys got is such block shit buying, you know, only buy pants, only buy men's pants. You know, the women's ah pants market needs to, like, learn a lesson.

Speaker: Yeah. I mean, when I used to work at a clothing company, I was like, I'll go talk to the CEO and be like, hey, I got an idea, a million dollar idea. Women's pockets.

Speaker: Like, they can't monetize it. The funny thing is, it's like, they're refusing to make women's, like, pockets in jeans bigger, but they're, like, adding pockets to, like, every other piece of clothing now. Well, now they're adding fake pockets, too.

Speaker: Yeah. But it's like, you know, now there's pockets in dresses, there's pockets in yoga pants, but you still, you there's still room to add pockets to jeans, guys.

Speaker: That's the weirdest one is like, why are jeans the issue? It seems weird to have pockets, big pockets for our yoga pants. I almost exclusively wear jeans. Please. Because as a girl, you're supposed to have a pocketbook or a purse.

Speaker: Yeah, I don't do that. i don't But even the pocketbook, then you have to just carry the pocketbook. Yeah. Pocketbooks don't even have that something. this But that's ladylike. That's where they're supposed to be. You know, that that's the girl thing. They're supposed to have that. I'm being facetious.

Speaker: I have learned to live without everything that I would put in a pocketbook. is Like, I will just go out with my phone, my keys, and I use those chained wallets so that, like, if it falls out of my pocket, it's still attached to me. Or if someone tries to run off with it real quick, it's attached to me. They're going to pull me. yep and they'll take you with them.

Speaker: Two for one. you know So it's like, you know, like... I did carry a purse around for a little while when, like, I had an office job and, like, you know, it was very convenient to have all that stuff on me.

Speaker: I've learned to live without all of that stuff on me. That feels really weird to even picture you with a purse. Doesn't it, though? I only did it because of how much I would carry into the office. I was like, I need a bag. Dude, I see like maybe i so do i never understood working an office job all my life.

Speaker: I was always the guy that showed up with like a laptop bag, and in it is just my laptop, wires for it, and earbuds. And then I'd have other coworkers, usually older women, coming in with like five or six bags of stuff. And i'm like, you're just at a desk all day with a computer.

Speaker: Like, I never see them move or anything. I'm like, where is all this other stuff for? I'll tell you what was in my purse. So, like, you know... I would have, you know, besides putting my keys and my wallet in there just to have a place, because also i couldn't just go into the office with a chained wallet.

Speaker: Like, I kind of had to look a little bit professional. That's not professional. Besides having my keys and wallet in there, I would have usually tissues because it was cold in there. And when I get cold, my nose gets runny.

Speaker: So, like, I'd always have, like, a pack of tissues, um writing utensils, and And that's where I would put like my water and any snacks for when I'm eating, like when I'm at the desk, like, oh, I'm getting hungry. Let me just pull this out of my purse and snack.

Speaker: But that was pretty much it. Yeah, I mean, i feel like you could have just have like one of those little sling bags and that would have been enough mostly. I would bring a second bag if like I would bring a book into work for like a break or something like that, usually in the wintertime only.

Speaker: um and But then the only other bag I'd have is my lunch bag. Yeah. Yeah. It still seems very weird to me to think of you. There's certain in my life I just can't picture with a purse. I tried for a while, like before, even before my office job, I tried for a while to carry around a purse to be more feminine.

Speaker: i would leave it everywhere. I've left it in... I've ah left it in movie theaters and I've left it in diners. And I'm just like... I just can't, guys. It got to the point where...

Speaker: I would purposely hang back so that if if she left it somewhere, I would just pick it up and then catch up to her and be like, here you go. Yeah, I got to a point where I'm like, I can't do this. And then I got the office job I'm like, okay, I need to start doing this again.

Speaker: You thought you had to bring a purse to look more professional? Well, like I said, because I... No,

Speaker: I didn't bring a purse to look professional. I brought a purse so that I wouldn't have to carry my chain wallet, which would look unprofessional. And this way I had a place to store it too, because I'm not going to sit at my desk with my wallet and like be sitting on my wallet all day.

Speaker: i just take mine out and just put it on my little, on my side desk. I'm like, well, it's over here. And then I grab it when I leave. I would put it in my purse and then put it in a drawer. Also, for any anybody who uses a wallet and keeps it in their pants pocket, put it in the front pocket.

Speaker: Do not sit on your wallet. So bad for your back. Don't do that. Bad for your hips. Yeah, I started keeping my wallet in my front pocket with my keys. I'm guy. i have pockets, so I'm sorry, ladies.

Speaker: um You deserve pockets, too. But, guys, there's no excuse. Keep a wallet and your keys in your other front pocket from your phone. Your back will thank you. It's easier to reach, harder to steal.

Speaker: I keep it in my back pocket, but... because of the chain, i can take it out. And then when I get out of the car, like, you know, it'll fall, but like, it'll be attached to me and then I can put it back in my back pocket. That way I just never sit on it. Cause I actually did like going to the chiropractor, the chiropractor was like your backs out or your hips out or whatever. Are you like sitting like on a wallet or something like that? I'm like, yeah. And they're like, yeah, that explains it. Don't do that. Yeah.

Speaker: Hell, I didn't- I stopped doing that long before that even became public knowledge just because it was so uncomfortable. It don't how people do it. oh One of my ass cheeks just feels like it's falling asleep. Yeah. I just got used to it over time, but like, then I- Imagine sitting in a chair that just has a s- like a lump in it. and Ugh.

Speaker: Yeah. And that lump is your girlfriend and you have to like move without waking her up. Yeah. Otherwise she's going to fall asleep. Yeah, my ass cheek falls asleep. ass is falling asleep. have to amputate my ass cheeks just so she can stay stay asleep for a few more hours.

Speaker: God forbid. um Speaking of hours, look how well we did. We're at for literally an hour right now. Now. Look at that. yeah We had so much to talk about.

Speaker: um Well, Beluga, before we round out, ah you're working on stuff. Is there any stuff that you want to tell people that you do? or We haven't gotten to do this a little while, so not a lot of practice, but like.

Speaker: Is there anything that people should be looking out for? Anything that you're working on? Any you know projects that people should know about? if not, you can say no. That's fine. Feel free to check out the Roleplayers Guild on YouTube for us playing D&D. I'm not currently DMing. I'm on a DMing break while I deal with health issues.

Speaker: but We still play and I'm having fun playing. Who's DMing? What's it? like At Roleplayers Guild...

Speaker: ah Yeah, at Roleplayers Guild, but it's R-O-L-L. Yeah. Players Guild. Kind of like the role play like that stupid other thing, the Roleplayers.

Speaker: First of all, it's just Roleplayer. There's no the. That's someone else. Sorry, they're just a bunch of Roleplayers, but we are the Roleplayers Guild. We are the Roleplayers Guild, but I didn't put the the in the domain when we...

Speaker: got it remember Do you remember, Beluga, that that's kind of how you and I started talking on Twitter was just like, yeah and're like oh, we have a similar name. Hey, you're role players. We're role players guild. We should do a thing together. Yeah, I think we talked about setting up a guild hall in your backyard. Yeah, I think that's what you said was like, oh, we're going to have like a like a like a guild hall in your backyard.

Speaker: like We should talk. Let's play Monster the Week. Yeah, well, the funny thing was, and I know like we were supposed to be ending the episode, but you know it's my time more things to talk about. we did The funny thing was, you were like, oh, would you want to play like a TTRPG together? And at the time, I really only knew like Pathfinder and 5e, so I was like, yeah, I'm totally down. And you're like, okay, cool, we're going play Monster of the Week. And I'm like...

Speaker: oh, I have no idea what this is. i don't know what I'm getting myself into now. Do I really? I already committed. I can't back out now. thought that was going to happen, but so many people like everyone stuck with it. They're like, yeah, OK, sure. I was like straight nervous because I'd never played it. Probably because it's like I was like, I don't know what this is. I don't know if I'll even like it. And I don't want to be like stuck doing something I don't like. But and now we're playing it next week.

Speaker: On the Role Players Guild. So if you want to see it this coming Thursday, du the Kimmy is running a special one shot us. 7th, 8th or something? Kimmy's running a one shot, yeah.

Speaker: The 8th. The 8th. Look at that. Look at how far you've developed where you guys are just running games and doing all that stuff. It's so easy to do. i love it.

Speaker: um Yeah, one more time. Roleplayers Guild. It's... Roleplayers Guild... What did you say? it It's youtube.com slash the at symbol. ah Roleplayers Guild. R-O-L-L.

Speaker: Gotcha. Easy peasy. Lemon squeezy. What about you, Danny? um You haven't pitched anything for your talk in a while. Check me out on Upwork. Check me out on Casting Call Club.

Speaker: Fiverr. The...

Speaker: Yeah, I've been. Oh, and on Instagram, you could check me out. Danny Guarantee on Instagram. As long as you don't mind hearing me read spicy things. I think that's like more incentive for them to go and check it out.

Speaker: Not my mother who listens to this. Don't do that. that you share You should do that on the Role Players Guild channel. What, read spicy things? Yeah, it's like a little interlude break or something.

Speaker: um Or like just put something in like when you do your we'll be right back. It's just you narrating while like... We'll be right. We'll be right. Yeah, yeah just like that. I actually have had a problem recently where my real life friends are starting to find my Instagram.

Speaker: and I have to keep warning them like, hey guys, you can follow me on Instagram. I don't care. That's fine. Just know you don't want to listen to the things I'm posting.

Speaker: Or you do, and you want to make fun of him. Or you but don't tell me you're listening to it. Make videos of you ah listening to him. Do live reacts.

Speaker: I also, I've started posting many highlights of different auditions I've done. If I really like an audition I did, or the voice I used, or whatever.

Speaker: I started making some highlights and posting that in there. So if you want to hear me make some silly, funny noises, or if you want to check it out because you're making a project and you need a voice actor that can do cartoony voices, check out my Instagram at Danny Guarantee. Danny Guarantee. Danny Guarantee. Guarantee.

Speaker: Right on. Any final words? Beluga, you don't get to do it. Yes, your first time, only time on the show, which is crazy to me. Do you have any final words or wit of wisdom, anything to to the audience, to us? Anything you want to say?

Speaker: Me? Words of wisdom? Hell no. You know, or anything about the show? Do you have any wise words written around in that soft beluga head of yours? Yeah. any any Any advice for our lady listeners out there, for our men out there, for anybody in between?

Speaker: My wise words for you guys, which are words that are currently stuck in my head and probably Dan's too, are ecstasy with extra cheese.

Speaker: Some people might know. Some people might not. but Rock pretty boy. Rock city boy. city boy, you're right. Rock city boy.

Speaker: is that a pizza joint? No, it's from an anime that we've been watching and, well... It's an anime that me and Dan watched many moons ago.

Speaker: and then me and a couple friends are re-watching it now. And it just started a new intro song. it's the best anime intro song ever. I honestly don't remember this song. But then that line comes up. And I'm like, oh wait, but I remember that. yeah he... there This guy just goes on to like a minute long rap in the background. And I can't, we can't understand a single thing he says, except for one part where he just goes like, in ecstasy with an extra cheese.

Speaker: Is it? Yeah. Is it? I want to believe the singing on beat most recently is like recess for me. Pretty, pretty, please. No birds in the bees, but ecstasy with extra cheese. Probably. yeah Rhino sounding like Bono all smacked up with a blackjack bottle. No.

Speaker: Yeah, we've never heard the rest of the line. It's like even, we i even have like I even have the like subtitles. Like it'll show the subtitles when the song is on, but I don't.

Speaker: It's too fast. yeah I don't pay attention to it. I just hear ecstasy with extra cheese. Adam, you need listen it. remember that part at least. This guy puts like, he ties Eminem.

Speaker: Oh yeah, he's going pretty quick. Oh my God. yeah I mean, that's a lot of text that I'm reading, so like he must he must burn through it pretty quick. Mm-hmm. Rhyming rhino? That's what it says.

Speaker: Rhyming rhino's had a bottle all smacked up in a blackjack bottle. When I say ho, you say, hey, you don't understand what I'm saying, huh? Well, there you go. No, I don't understand what you're saying. Not a word. That's what the lyric is. You don't understand what saying. I understood three words you said, and it was ecstasy with extra cheese. Well, it sounds like that's pretty much the whole point is he's just trying to say, well, that's kind of the trick to being able to rap fast is you want to find words that are really easy to say after. Yeah. So like it sounds like that's probably what he was doing.

Speaker: I mean, pretty, pretty please is pretty easy to say quite fast. I feel like I'd run out of... I'd get confused about how many pretties I've done. I'd be like, pretty, pretty, pretty... Fuck! Please!

Speaker: You don't understand what I'm saying, huh? Please! I gotta listen to it once we're done, because it sounds fun. Oh, it's a great i love a good anime opener, especially if it's like an English co-opted one that they just like kind of slam on there. I fucking love it. That one, and... It's mostly in Japanese, but then the rap part comes, and that's in English. Yeah.

Speaker: And then the other one that we really liked. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The Rock City Board. Oh, Veracity and Overlord. Honestly, the current theme song we're listening to, the current anime that we're listening, that we're watching, has a pretty banger.

Speaker: Yeah. song I love a good anime opener. Absolutely love it. Um... There you go Rock City Boy. the rock is that what it's called? The Rock City Boy? Is that what the show's called?

Speaker: No. The show's called Fairy Tail. Oh, Fairy Tail. All right. Look up Fairy Tail. If you want to listen to that, Rock Boy. If you're willing to make a commitment because that's like 300 plus episodes. Holy shit. Really? Yeah. Oh, yeah.

Speaker: Yeah, how like why taste like not as long as Naruto or One Piece, but it's it's still one of the ones that are up there. Man, see the thing I love about British TV shows and the thing I love about some anime is that they wrap things up in one or two seasons and it is done.

Speaker: and just I do appreciate when it's like 24 episodes, half hour each, you get a full story and it ends and you're happy. appreciate that. It's a good break like because we've been watching a lot of anime, so it's nice when we're like we watch like a full like length show and then like the next one is like one season, 12 episodes, and i'm like, okay, that's like a good reprieve. Yeah.

Speaker: Like a good chill. That's my shit. I just want to finish it up, man. um Have you guys seen Mob Psycho 100? I refuse. It's my shit. It's so fun. I loved Mob Psycho. and on I've watched the first two seasons. It's incredible. I think there's more now. I think I tried to watch an episode and I was like, I can't do this. She didn't like the cartoony nature of it.

Speaker: Oh, love it. I think it's... don't even know. I don't know. i met that from a Tinder... ah A Tinder tryst. um A woman invited me over to her house on a first date, and that was what we did. but We watched The Mob Psycho 100. You know what? like Oh, shit. That would be like my dream date.

Speaker: yeah like Yeah, I'm so down. You want to know? Can I tell you without getting too graphic? She asked. She was a cosplayer, but she had an autoimmune disease. And so she was ah she couldn't go to too many places because like certain risks were involved.

Speaker: So she spent a lot of time at home or in certain safe spaces. And so, which was like why I protested for a while. i was like, you sure you want me to come over? like you know I'm bringing outside world into your house. And she's like, it's cool. I got systems. like It's okay. So I was like, all right cool, whatevs.

Speaker: um So she just told me certain things like not to wear or like certain things not to smell like or whatever. um So I came over and she goes, I'm a cosplayer. Who's a character that you like that you think I could cosplay Oh, my. And I was like, oh, word. so like It's like, OK.

Speaker: And so I couldn't I just I all of a sudden every cool character I could fucking think of that a woman could play just like left my brain. Yep, of course. The first thing I thought of was like Killer Frost from the DC universe.

Speaker: And so I was like, I don't know, like Killer Frost, like, you know, do Killer Frost. And she's like, OK, I'll look it up and sit and come up with. Once you know that woman entered the door fully dressed up, dude. And I was like, holy shit. OK, cool. Dream come true. I'm hanging out with Killer Frost. We're watching anime together. Yeah.

Speaker: My pants exploded off my fucking body. um But yeah, that was a fun first date. I bet. She was like, hey, man, I'm going to make you dinner. I'm dressed up as your favorite anime, your favorite character or whatever. And we're going to watch some sick ass anime. And I'd never seen Mob 100, but I was really enjoying it, especially, you know, with everything. you have her number? Is she still single?

Speaker: I do have her number still. Yeah. All right, cool. all' Talk to me later. Yeah, I was actually I was I was sent it to your I was sent it to your wife first because, know, she might be interested. Who knows? I mean, she's she's a beautiful woman. This was this lady. So I don't know. We'll see.

Speaker: We have to you have to come up to Pennsylvania to talk to her. um All the way up to your your end of Pennsylvania. Ish. Ish. But she's a little it's still a bit of a ways, but, you know, can make a weekline make a weekend of it. It would be. Yeah. Like it would be like a you know, a yes like a once in like every like six month type of thing. Which is probably fine for her. You know, she's definitely fine with just like whoever wants to come and do things. um

Speaker: But yeah, that was a very, that's how I discovered Mob Psycho. It's just from this random you like Tinder date. I'd be like, me how to cosplay, please. Do you mind if I go with somebody too?

Speaker: If you go dressed up? Yeah. If I go as a cosplay as well. yeah I'll be like to her, I'll say like, you give me a character too. Yeah.

Speaker: I think I might have told you about this girl. She was the one that... You did, I remember. yeah As soon as you said the girl with autoimmune disease, I was like, know exactly which girl it was. Yeah, she was the one that, like as far as I know, might still be doing it, with would like do like raunchy photos or like she would like sell perverts her socks on the internet and make like thousands of dollars.

Speaker: yeah i like It's such a hustle. was like, fuck, man, I wish people cared to buy my dirty-ass socks. Right? She had a good hustle and she paid for her house doing it. So I was like, you know what, girl?

Speaker: That's fucking dope. Good on you. um Maybe someday. You know what? um I'm going to promote myself. Go to randomadam on Instagram where I will start auctioning off different parts of my clothing that you can have that I've been wearing.

Speaker: I have a set of bed sheets that I haven't washed in a couple of weeks if you want those. This is just reminding me of the dungeon crawler Carl. Yeah, yeah. Achievement. Yes.

Speaker: Yeah. New achievement. I was like, he said it was like really sexy, but then he's like saying it like that. I'm like, that's really creepy. That's not how I would say that. Yeah.

Speaker: But, uh, but I mean, yeah, you know what I take, I could take a i actually took a bath today. I was soaking in some Epsom salts. So if you want some Adam salt and some Epsom salts. No, you got to do the opposite. You have to be like, look guys, I haven't bathed in like three days. I haven't changed these socks in a week.

Speaker: They are marinated and flavorful. I'm currently on i'm currently land day five of the same pair of underwear. I have flipped them inside out. I feel like a brand new pair. There you go. see Maybe we should tell your mom, like, you know, stop listening after this time. Stop listening after this, like, you know, time. All of her favorite people are on this episode. I mean, what's the... All we need is get Gabe on here and we'll have the whole shebang.

Speaker: We should do an episode ah with Kimmy, the four of us. I thought about trying to get her in, but i couldn't she was working. I couldn't get her in. Next time. I was going to have her be a surprise guest for you, but I couldn't make it happen.

Speaker: yeah um Kind of like how we kidnapped you and that was the first time you met. Yeah, see, that's the thing is we need to have a reunion episode to commemorate that. We'll have to do it in February, which was the anniversary of us doing it. See, this show is like tattoos. Beluga made a big stink about being on the show, but now that she's been on it, she's like, oh, I can do this again. It's like a tattoo.

Speaker: It's easy. I mean, I'm not going to be like a regular, but I will appear every once in a while. Yeah. I mean, I will appear in the background frequently. Yeah. We've Kimmy on like what? Maybe two. I think we've had her on twice. Yeah. We've had her on twice.

Speaker: Yeah. So like some people just it's come on like whenever it's convenient. But, you know, yeah. Yeah, I'd say one thing I'm super proud of this podcast for, since we are at episode 100, is that like when we started having guests on, which was pretty early, um this was like one of the easiest ones for people to jump into. Like almost everybody who has ever come on this show save for I think at least on top of my head, I can think of maybe two or three people had never done a podcast appearance before.

Speaker: They never even ran their own. um So a lot of people who are on here had never done it. This is their first interview. This was their first time sharing to like people who didn't know them. first time, like we didn't really have a solid format. So I say like maybe 10 minutes before we record, like, here's a kind of a breakdown. do you have any questions? It's really just a conversation. do you have, you know, and most people are like, cool, let's just rip it and go.

Speaker: And like every, there has yet to be one that has been unsuccessful or uncomfortable or like people were miserable or that it just didn't go well. Yeah. We've always told everybody when they get on the show,

Speaker: It's not live, obviously. It is recorded. So usually, yeah. We did do a stint with lives, but the show it mostly is recorded. So if you're a guest and you do an episode with us, we we always made sure to tell them, like, hey, you know, if the next day you wake up and you're like, man, I kind of regret doing that, just tell us. We'll not post that episode. less work I don't think we've had anybody do that. No, not single Everybody's been fine putting their episode up.

Speaker: No. Yeah. So all that to say, you know, if if anybody else wants to come on and introduce themselves or talk to people or ask questions live, if anybody knows anyone who's kind of Internet famous or something and can draw some eyes for the show. Oh, that'd be really cool. Yeah. Like we it would be awesome if we could get some guests on that, like have audiences that would actually want to check it out.

Speaker: Any sugar daddies or sugar mamas just want to drop us some money. Yeah, would yeah that'd be fine, too. We were just talking about upgrading our computers are getting a new MacBook so we could edit videos. So.

Speaker: I would love to get some extra gear. I'd love to just be able to pay my bills. That'd be great. pay Bills would be nice. hey yeah bills speak If you like the show, please give us some money so that we can keep doing the show. If you want me to send you used socks, sure. but yeah i don't think that would go well for you. You like your socks too much.

Speaker: Okay, send me a pair of socks, I'll wear them. There you go. And then... Well, sure, there's that. Because Mbaluga doesn't just, like, buy socks and wear them. She buys, like, special socks for different occasions and stuff. Right. Well, just to share, the lady who I saw, she would just go buy a random pack of socks and then just use them because she knew she could. I'd get attached.

Speaker: Yeah. Just, like, a random pack of, like, six black socks? Yeah. Oh, like, oh, like just like regular socks. Okay. Yeah, yeah that would be yeah they don't need anything special. Most people are just like what she she would just take a video of herself walking in them. and Like that was it. She'd send them the video and send them that and off to the races.

Speaker: couple hundred bucks just off a pair of socks. So, you know, the world's your oyster out there, folks. Then once you crack that oyster, share some of what you have with us so we can continue to live our lives in comfort.

Speaker: Also, Terry, Gabe, you want to come on the show? It's easy. It's so easy. Anyone can do it. You heard our track record. That would be the get of the century for me.

Speaker: when yous i would. Would you shit your pants? Yes. Would you shit your pants? yeah I think Dan would skip that episode be like, Adam, this is all you. Yeah, I'd be like, I don't even want to hear this episode. whole I don't want to talk about this episode. Terry, if you want to do a private episode that Danny doesn't know we're recording, you send me a message on fun and sellers network dot biz. OK, you send that message out.

Speaker: and you say hey this is for adam i would love to do a little solo episode or if you both want to come on i'll ask you all the questions danny won't have to be exposed to it make it a little secret episode for everybody but they'd be like oh what i want dan there Well, I can always pull them in and say, hey, I need to do a quick test on something. and then Just have them come in. You you would call me in, i'd join, see them, and just hang up.

Speaker: We would live stream it. No, we wouldn't. No, I think they wouldn i would do it. I was actually wondering if we were going to live stream this episode. i thought about it, but you know I didn't want to put any pressure on you. i know we talked it up a lot, but...

Speaker: I think doing a streamed episode at some point with us would be fun just to kind of, maybe we do a TOQ live stream gaming session or some shit. Yeah, we'll do a TOQ, here, that's what we'll do. We'll do TOQ Stardew episode with the four of us. Oh, that's our do. Could definitely do that. That's our do. That's our do. Maybe we'll even have our do on. We'll have a few do there.

Speaker: Oh, that's true. You have your own do. That's right. We do have our own do. You're a little dinky do. He is such a do. He's such a do. so yeah Well, it'll be an episode where we can get Kimmy on as well. And then we'll do a That's Our Do, the four of us. There we go. And we'll talk, answer questions, and whatnot. There you go. we can We can promote that ahead of time and get people to send questions, live stream it. And maybe we'll get my parents on for $200.

Speaker: Alright, we can shoot for that. Or at least a buck. yeah we'll We'll do like a a donation stream. ah Adam can sell geodes if you pay a certain amount of money. Now would that backfire? Would they be like, fuck you, we don't want to sell geodes. Or they would think it's funny because then I have to.

Speaker: And then you have to deal with it. So maybe they'll think that's a funny. That's really good. We gotta hold on to that idea. That's really funny, actually. Someone's like, $2 donation, Adam gets to sell a geode. Like... t That'd be really good. And Beluga has to watch. And if we get a certain amount of money, then we can we could we could afford to have Terry on the show. $2 for a geode.

Speaker: And then another $2. Up it by $2 increases the rank the geode. up it by two dollars increases the rank of the geode Oh, God. Oh, no. So, like, a $10 donation, you throw an Omni Geode in there.

Speaker: off I've seen, I've never done that. Just to watch Beluga want to end her own suffering. I would never dream of doing that on purpose unless someone paid. that That would be a little difficult because of how long it would take you to get to the Omni and the... magma geodes oh i would just spend all day in the mines until we got there i mean we could make it like a long-term thing too just because it's like it's that's our dude doesn't have to be just one episode it's at least 40 levels before you get to the frost area yeah well with four people and a bunch of staircases we could do it easy

Speaker: Either that or we'll play a little bit ahead of time and then jump in once we kind of have some stuff started so we can hit the ground running. But we'll figure it out. Kimmy's job is solely fishing.

Speaker: i already know how she plays. She just fishes. That's fine. that's fine what fish I just tell her what fish to get and she fishes for me. That's fine. Beautiful. Um... All right. Well, everybody look out for That's Our Due because that is something I would think would be really fun. Yeah. I think i think that's going to have to be like a February episode as like an anniversary for us meeting in person.

Speaker: Maybe we'll do a live stream to raise some money for the network and to just have a fun little thing for everybody to watch. um It's a charity stream. We are charity cases. We are the charity.

Speaker: A lot people do stuff like that, like stream-a-thons where they're like, hey, donate to our thing. We're running a network here, God damn it. It's going to the fun installers, which helps creators. As much as we really do appreciate everybody listening and doing this, we do have to have jobs and pay bills, and we do take time out of our day to make these.

Speaker: If you want to kick us a dollar or two, I won't say no. Go to the Ko-Fi, send us some dollars, go to the store if you want to buy some stuff. Buy some shorts. Buy some, yeah, buy some, buy some shirts that say what color the shirt is. Yep.

Speaker: I have to remember to get one of them. I need to one. Gabe has one, yeah and it's red. He does. Yeah, and it looks looks good on him. And our guy Dixon has multicolored days of the week shirts for a couple of weeks of work, and he gets compliments. He says it's their his most complimented types of garb that he has ever worn in his life.

Speaker: He's never gotten more compliments on anything else he's ever worn. That's just how awesome they are. And that makes me feel so good. And I hope it makes you feel good, Dixon, that people like your stuff. um So anyway, let's wrap this thing up, huh?

Speaker: Absolutely. All right, Danny, go ahead and kick us off with the wind down ecstasy, extra cheese, and then you. Hey, everybody. I really like my ecstasy with extra cheese. And like I was just saying before, like we've been saying on here,

Speaker: ah With or without the money, this really is you know it's a dream come true. We really do appreciate you all listening. If you want to help out the show but cannot afford to monetarily or don't want to, just listening helps a bunch. Spreading the word. If you know somebody else who might enjoy the spirit of this show, show it to them. Preferably not your parents.

Speaker: I understand. um Thank you so much, Beluga, for joining us on episode 100. We really appreciate you taking the time to come on. um Cheese. Cheese. Cheese. And please, for the love of all that is holy and whatever God you may or may not we worship, please, please, please, please Do not. Just don't.

Speaker: Just don't. Out of anything you want to do this year, just don't. Especially this fiscal year. Don't. Especially this fiscal year. This fiscal year is Do not be like Beluga just was. Don't do it. Do not be a piece of shit this year. Don't be a piece of shit. Just don't be a piece of shit. Rude. It's not that hard. It's not hard. It's not hard. Don't do it. It's not hard to not be a piece of shit.

Speaker: don't have patience for you people. Right. That's a new layer. Just remember, if you're a piece of shit, every time... Patience for you being a piece of shit. Every time you're a piece of shit, a beluga whale cries one more tear.

Speaker: Yeah. And you don't want to make them cry. Look at that face. You can't see that face. They can't see that face. Just just go it just Google beluga whale crying. Yeah, just Google beluga. but Yeah, you'll see it. he'll You'll see it. what on Put it on the Instagram.

Speaker: You've seen how cute and dopey they look. Do you really want to make that cry? Do you want to be that kind of monster? I didn't think so. Don't be a piece of shit this year. Don't be a piece of shit this year. One more time. for you One more time.

Speaker: Don't be a piece of shit this year. him up.
