Hey guys, Steve here. We're always looking for ways to save on labor and increase safety for our people. Last year, I purchased a game-changing snowblower from my company that does just that. It's called the MuskOx.
00:15:41
Speaker
It's patented backdrag feature and design lets us get right up to our HOA garage doors and tight spots, clean them all right down to the pavement without scratching. This beast can also scrape hard pack going forward if you need it to.
00:15:53
Speaker
It's truly a dual-threat blower. Give MuskOx a call. Their staff are extremely knowledgeable and have been amazing with us. MuskOx, snowblowers that backdrag. Step into the future of snow removal with Arctic Snow and Ice Products, where innovation has been our driving force since the early 2000s.

We're Boss Snowplow, and we do whatever it takes to back you up. Guys, if you've followed the show lately, you've heard us mention the Plowrite snow stakes. Well, now that I've tried them, I have to say I'm a huge fan. Installing traditional snow stakes is time-consuming, expensive, and if you're using fiberglass, just downright dangerous due to the splinters.
00:17:15
Speaker
That's where the Plowrite marking stake system comes in. Their patented installation tool can install up to 450 stakes per hour. The stakes are made of hollow polypropylene, which will not crack, break, or splinter.
00:17:25
Speaker
They have three different size options from 26 to 46 inches. Come in five standard colors, orange, green, blue, red, and hot pink. Best of all, everything is 100% made in the USA.

00:17:48
Speaker
Yeah, i need some more loaders, though. That guy makes those? Yeah. Oh, there's a crack. We'll just crack the Celsius. They should be sponsoring us. They should be sponsoring us for as many Celsius as get cracked on this show. All right, we're back.
00:18:05
Speaker
Let's bring in the boys. Patty, Sean, Robert, Spencer. How are doing, guys? Good. Good, and are you doing? Wonderful. it's Wonderful. All right, we

Northeast De-Icing Solutions Event & Syma Highlights

00:18:15
Speaker
got a wonderful. Yeah, it's only Tuesday. Ask me at the end of the week.
00:18:18
Speaker
ah Pat, you want to tell everybody what they can look forward to this year at the Northeast Dei Shing Solutions, Dei Shing Day, October first Yeah, so Thursday, going to be expensive. thursdays a yeah October 1st, we're hosting our third annual event, which has slowly, slowly been growing. We're going to try and do it bigger and better. So for those of you who aren't familiar with it Last year we had Mr. Liquids himself, Jordan Smith, do a panel on liquid de-icing, everything you need to know about it, how to get into it. um
00:18:55
Speaker
We covered live edge plows, sectional snow plows, what they can do for your business. we had some other educational events in there i think we did um snow insurance and contract language yeah that guy depressed everybody it did yeah but i think i think a lot of people took some put some things away from it absolutely they did so we're uh we got live demos going on Like brine making, some sprayers in action, hop in a couple different sectional plows and wing plows and try them out. And then we got an after hours networking event going on.
00:19:35
Speaker
There's a concert to start. The live band coming. i was on the phone with Morgan this morning. He's in he's in Europe that day, unfortunately. but Actually, he's ah he's ah right now he's he's on rest for his vocal cords. Is he? All right. but I don't know. Maybe we can get like Luke Combine on there something. Luke Combine. I it. He'd be good.
00:19:58
Speaker
ah So, um more yeah, we're still, we've been, it's been a busy off season, be honest. been slammed. We're still planning the event. So actually, if guys want to give us a follow on social media, I'll maybe post some, ah a couple of things, see what everybody's looking for and what you guys want to see at the event for different seminars, panels.
00:20:22
Speaker
More of those sandwiches. What time was a jet coming to pick me up that you were sending? That'll be off i want walk Friday, October 2nd. He's got to schedule his tanning sessions. Yes. Can I bring one with? Well, I thought you were driving the tanker out. Oh, no. There's too many hills and trees out there for me. They can't make them up. They only go flat and downhill.
00:20:46
Speaker
Oh, man. Well, yeah. We're going to be sponsoring this pretty soon. Yeah. Morton Wallace, man. I'm i'm just here for the Morton Wallace concert. I'm going to get that t-shirt made up for that event. I'm just here for the Morton Wallace concert. We'll just bring our mics and do karaoke.
00:21:08
Speaker
There you go. Do you ter you have any idea what you're going to do yet, Patty, as far as as far as the lectures and stuff like that, roundtables? Absolutely not. No? All right. I did they need to get on that, to be honest. So we'll ah just start some planning this week. Probably won't happen. Maybe next week. And then, like I said, yeah, we'll figure out September 29th. September 29th. And see what guys are interested in.
00:21:35
Speaker
Cool. All right. Sounds good. I have an idea, Pat. What do you got? I think what we should do is we should mug Sean, take his money, and take all of his salt spreaders away, and then give him some sprayers.
00:21:51
Speaker
That's a good idea. I mean, it's pretty easy. He slept in the truck for three and a half hours last year. He did. We have photographic evidence of that. That's true. That's true. I mean, even came.
00:22:03
Speaker
I was going to say that. Because there was free food. Oh, it was food and then the fishing. I think he was going fishing on the way back or something. Night before. He woke up for lunch. He went back to the car. Right back in the car. There will be scones again this year, Steve. Nice.
00:22:23
Speaker
What's a scone? The stuffers, his sister baked. His sister baked some awesome stuff. I think, what it? The banana bread, too. Yeah. That was out of this world.
00:22:34
Speaker
And then the the food was very good. The sandwiches were good at lunch, too. All right. I'm hungry. That's cool. All right. let's Let's stop talking about food. Jeremy's hungry. All right. Good enough. So that's October 1st. Are the tickets on sale yet or on your website or anything or no? Not yet.
00:22:51
Speaker
All right. Get on that, dude. Proceeds go on to me. We need to go into Morgan Wallace. Or Luke Combine. Luke Combine.
00:23:02
Speaker
It could be one of the table discussions is who's the best ah country singers around. Absolutely. There you go. Made up country singer. Morton Wallace, Luke Combine. Oh, my God. You guys are too much.
00:23:15
Speaker
All right. Well, let's get into this. So, Syma. 2026 as we said is june 20 what is it 23rd to the 26th so that's a wednesday thursday friday i'm looking at their schedule wednesday it looks like the only thing that's on the schedule for wednesday is trade show after dark from 6 30 to 8 anybody going to that no no spencer you guys will probably have to be there right because you got boots Yeah, we'll have a few people there, and then we'll probably go to the welcome reception. I know Case is helping out with that and doing a few things there. So, I mean, we got a big team this year going, so we'll be spread out.
00:23:56
Speaker
Where's that at? I'm sure we'll find a bar. ah i mean, me where's the party at? Elm Street Plaza. I think that's where they're having theirs. I don't know.
00:24:07
Speaker
I think it's just a conglomerate party. It's that cocktail thing they do every year. No, not just Case. It's a welcome cocktail party Simon always does. Yeah, just Case is sponsoring and paying for Cool.
00:24:21
Speaker
I didn't understand the whole 6.30 to 8, like, hour and a half that you add to to that. Like, if you go then, you really don't need to go on Thursday. Yeah.
00:24:32
Speaker
I don't understand what it is. It's going to be a night to show the ghost paw off right away, I think. It's going to be there. Yeah, that could a little scary. Spooky. Spooky.
00:24:43
Speaker
Yeah, so, you know, Wednesday, that's that's all that is on the schedule for for Wednesday at Syma. Thursday is the actual show, and that is this year from 1230 530.
00:24:56
Speaker
twelve to twelve thirty to five thirty Is that twelve thirty Yeah, because they took away the time from Thursday and bumped it to Wednesday. I think it's noon. Well, it's 12 530.
00:25:12
Speaker
My goodness. Most people are hungover on Friday. Is it me or is it getting later and later? is. Oh, my God. Exciting.
00:25:23
Speaker
you Why are we even doing this preview? like come on Talk about the parties. Well, I mean, come on. That's not even a day. It's five hours. like My gosh. All right. they Anyway, so that's it. Yeah, 12 noon to 530. So, yeah, you can โ€“ that's actually โ€“ honestly, they probably read Sean's feedback. At least i could sleep in. That's what I'm saying. That is what I'm saying. When haven't you?
00:25:53
Speaker
They probably read, i would like the show to start promptly around lunchtime so I can eat and then walk it off on the floor for a couple hours and then eat again.
00:26:05
Speaker

00:26:23
Speaker
Thank you. You guys doing anything, anything we can expect in the booth, any kind of anniversary stuff? Definitely have a ah couple products in there. Some surprises for the the industry.
00:26:35
Speaker
Nice. few product line attachments that are going to be a little bit custom this year that people can see. So that'll definitely be exciting. See some more stuff on social media. Very cool. And then you want to talk about the ah the big shindig after the trade show?
00:26:52
Speaker
Yes, sir, man. Thursday, we are doing a party, just like last year, except we're not doing two this year. We're going to do one, and you guys are a part of it. Our friends at Case are a part of it, as well as the Storm team and Storm Academy.
00:27:06
Speaker
So we're going to have it at Ryan Geist Brewery from 6 to 11 on Thursday. Free food, free drinks. Make sure to send out a ah text message to everyone that attended last year.
00:27:20
Speaker
Just all the the info to it, where it's at. Best cups ever. Best cups ever. You're right. Best cups ever at this event, don't go empty we have ah We have a few left over we keep at our office.
00:27:36
Speaker
Nice. DJ music. We actually have a magician doing crowd work this year, so it's going to be good time. ton of giveaways, a ton of promo. Typical Arctic party. Ain't no party like an Arctic party. As long as there's no clowns. Sean's afraid of clowns. Sean's a clown.
00:27:54
Speaker
we We got to get a bowl like PBR so Jeremy can ride it one year. Yes, let's do that. Let's do that. I mean, the man is good. i can't i can't take anything away from him. so I can make something work real quick. We can surprise you.
00:28:09
Speaker
I mean, the man is good on the mechanical bull. I got to give it to him on that. I was impressed. Until he started showboating that girl. Until I started showboating. And she was like, fuck you, buddy. yeah I knew that was coming, too. I called her. I go, I'm going to showboat, and she's going wipe me out.
00:28:28
Speaker
I deserve it. That's fine. I'm looking forward to the party. That's that's good. I missed last year. So looking forward to seeing it. but Last year was a good one. It was a hard one to beat, but I think this year we got it. so Very cool. Excellent spot last year.
00:28:44
Speaker
That was fun. The B.O.B., that was hard to find, but definitely a gem within Grand Rapids. think it was like four floors, too. Yeah. Yeah, because that's second part. for We had the second night and we're like, why are we doing two parties? Everyone who's showing up the first night is just showing up the second night. Might as well just do one big shindig and make it just open to everyone going to Saima. So we're looking forward to it.
00:29:07
Speaker
Cool. It's going to be fun. Sounds good. sounds And is this ah is this in competition with any other parties out there? ah Maybe a little. We always like to see how good we do with our parties. So just a little friendly competition.
00:29:22
Speaker
Yeah, we got to actually do it the same nights as other things on the purpose. Not much of a competition. No, it's not. But, you know. What are you going to do? We're nice. We just call stuff as we see it. This show, we just call stuff as we see it. I mean i just like to quote quote other people, like Jeremy said. Ain't no party like an Arctic party. so It's true.
00:29:45
Speaker
that's That is very true. ah So the the trade show. so the five What are we going to do? What are we looking forward to for the five hours of trade show ah on the floor there? I mean...
00:29:58
Speaker
Anybody, let's let's who's got booths? Who's got products they're looking forward to? Who's going to jump first? Sean, I'm putting you on the spot. Fuck you. Let's go.
00:30:10
Speaker
yeah Alright, here I am. give me a give me Salt company is going to be... yeah thinking Dude, there's a lot of salt companies this year. and i said I was looking through the list and I'm like, all these salt companies are there.
00:30:24
Speaker
What's the fucking difference? They're all going to tell you they're out of salt by fucking December. Yeah. Right? we We should ask them that. A lot of salt companies, a lot of liquid companies, and a lot of technology companies.
00:30:38
Speaker
Yes, there's a lot of software this year. Did you just swear? Did you swear? Who? Liquids. Sean, he said the l word. Liquids? Sean said the L word. What the heck? That shit don't work.
00:30:55
Speaker
but It doesn't. It doesn't work in Jersey. Oh, shit. So, ah Sean, what what are you looking forward to? What are you going to check out? anything Anything stick out to you?
00:31:06
Speaker
No, I was looking at the list. Nothing really stuck out too much. I'm going to check out the insurance booth that's there just because that's always something. Think we should get it finally?
00:31:18
Speaker
yeah I make way more money if I'm uninsured.
00:31:25
Speaker
He's kidding. you i mean, he's not kidding about making way more money, but he's kidding about being uninsured. You win some, you lose some. You win some, win so you lose some. It's called game. Some years he wins, some years they win. That's it.
00:31:41
Speaker
Is that, what is that, ANSEE and Associates, Sean? look like they were the only ones that are um part of an insurance group there. I don't know if I missed any. it looks like there's a couple. There's ANSEE and Associates, it looks like, for insurance, and there's also Botson Higginbotham Insurance.
00:31:57
Speaker
Oh, I thought that was Boston. All right, that's my dyslexia. Oh, Botson. Yeah, I thought it was Boston. You're dyslexic. Botson. That is what it is. ah um yeah so i'm gonna check out some insurance boots and uh maybe go to a couple uh people that i already know and deal with like yeti software they're a big part of our company so go show face with them see what they got coming up that's new or anything and you still got yeti right yeah still loving it oh yeah it's great good
00:32:34
Speaker
I've yet to find anybody that's got a bad word to say about anything Yeti. No, they're they're really good.
00:32:41
Speaker
That's great. good What did they give away last year? Socks at their booth? They gave away socks, didn't they? I didn't make it last year, I don't think. I think it was two years ago. They had socks at us. I think me and Matty Muscles got socks from them last year at their booth or something. Oh, it's Storm Day. Storm Day. They had socks. They're actually pretty nice.
00:33:02
Speaker
Yep. um Sean, are you looking at any walk behind your normal walk behind salt spreader? I didn't see them on the list. If they're there, I'm going to stop by. That's because that was at Equip.
00:33:17
Speaker
Okay, that's right, yeah. We're going all the way to Kentucky. Yeah, wal Walter. All right, because there's some spiker ice ice spiker spreader this year that's blue.
00:33:31
Speaker
That's what I thought it was. a Might be the same thing. um It is. It's the same. It's not. The Walters are way better. Here we go. Fucking walk behind it and it fucking spreads salt way too much.
00:33:47
Speaker
Here we go. Oh my god. You guys are too much. I'm talking to Sean. There's no such thing in way too much. Jeremy, what are you looking forward to? any Any products you're looking to check out while you're there? What what are your booths that you want to check out?
00:34:04
Speaker
Give them shout out. I'm going try to check out this new company. i um been doing some research on called Arctic. yeah They got some follow I might like. I'm going to check that out.
00:34:18
Speaker
Too many moving parts. Yeah. Probably blocks his break. Oh, yeah, the blocks. It's always something. But no, I'm going to, yeah, I mean, honestly, I'll probably just walk around and visit and see how much trouble I get in like normal.
00:34:36
Speaker
right How about you there, Steve? ah What are you looking for? You missed last year, so you got catch up, buddy. I got a bunch. I got a bunch. that i pun oh yeah I got a bunch of stuff. I want to check out Crew Vision because I hear a lot about Crew Vision. there It's a new like dispatch software, GPS type deal.
00:34:57
Speaker
Yeah. They reached out to us a couple months ago and ah and wanted me to check it out. So I do want to i want to head over to that booth and see what I can find out about that. We don't use that software, but again, it's always good to know what's out there so that if guys have needs and are asking you questions, you know where to send them.
00:35:17
Speaker
Yeah. I think it's kind of like in the same realm as like a Yeti stuff like that. It's, you know, snow software for your business. So want to learn more about that.
00:35:29
Speaker
Oh, where else? Fluid film is there this year, Jeremy. Yeah, but i'm I'm trying something different. Oh, yeah. What are you? The other stuff. on ah The crown.
00:35:40
Speaker
The other like solvent that Kyle Martin was telling me about. Yeah. Is it crown? Yeah. was that crown rust control that stuff no no i'll video with this call i can't remember the name of it but it dried basically immediately yeah yeah is that a good thing yeah my opinion it is he okay yeah what it was called dang it um
00:36:09
Speaker
That's the only with fluid film is everything sticks to it after. Everything sticks to it and you get covered when you try to work on something. I'm okay with that. Part of doing business.
00:36:22
Speaker
i'm going to go see the I'm going to go see the gang at Romar because their NutriWash stuff, I've used that for 15 years. I love that shit. That's always he' good. Yep. The DeSalt stuff that they have is tremendous. ah I'll stop in and see them. I'm going to go see Turbo Todd.
00:36:41
Speaker
I got to learn more about the about the Turbo Melt and it's going to be available I guess in my area this year so that is a huge plus for me because I had magic problems last year so um the magic wasn't so magical so I'm going to make a change and see what's what but ah yeah I'm looking forward to to seeing Turbo Melt and hearing more about that Ventrac is there I don't know why they got one product line left
00:37:14
Speaker
I don't know why they're there. um But yeah, ah Wolf, the Wolf loaders are there. So stop by and see Harry and Aaron. That's for sure.
00:37:26
Speaker
I think we'll definitely be at the storm equipment booth. Right. Yeah, it's I think it's a haunted booth this year or something. It's a haunted booth. Yeah.
00:37:36
Speaker
It'll have Michael Jackson's Thriller playing the whole time. It's a ghost flower is what I hear. i've Never seen it before, but I've heard about it. Never seen it. Never used it. this is all i mean This is all subject to me being able to get out of the Arctic booth because I could very easily spend the whole day talking to Big Daddy.
00:37:56
Speaker
Well, you usually have a couch there. You just hang on on the couch. If they have a couch, and that's going to be a tough sell to get me to go anywhere else. yeahre We're down to one couch. Big Daddy broke it in Vegas. so What? Oh, no. It was either Big Daddy or ah one of our sales guys, Scott.
00:38:12
Speaker
I said Big Daddy pick one up on the scooter. We got some lounge chairs, though. Be nice and comfy, Steve. There we go. All right. Whatever works. You got to get a casting couch.
00:38:25
Speaker
Oh, here we go. And I think we just earned our explicit title. Our explicit rating for the show. That's so that's how you could take a nap, right? yeah ah Sean, if you do have the casting couch, you should check out the booth for the Cleveland Vibrator Company. That is 724. That's
00:38:49
Speaker
What booth number is that? 724. I'm not even full of shit. That's a legit booth. I saw that.
00:38:57
Speaker
ah That would be good for them to have in their booth. That'd be funny. Absolutely. there's another There's another rental, truck rental company that's there this year that I'd like to check out Express.
00:39:09
Speaker
um See what kind of options they offer. Like you had, what was the one that you had couple years ago that everybody was... Barco. Barco. I think they're both the same company.
00:39:21
Speaker
bar that was art barco i think they're vault the same company oh I don't know.

Programs & Equipment Promotions

00:39:30
Speaker
Let me see here.
00:39:33
Speaker
Maybe they are. i don't know. They might. Even Marco doesn't have a booth this year, and they ah they did the last couple years. That's possible, so we'll check them out. We'll see what's what with them. Yeah, Express 4x4 truck rentals. So, you know, it's always good to have options for guys. You know, Flex Equipment Rentals. there There's a lot of, like, leasing companies out there this year ah that have boots. So guys, check them out. does Spencer, does Dinesse have its own booth, or is that just in with Ardix booth?
00:40:02
Speaker
Yeah. um We have our booth with ah Midwest Equipment Group that we co-collaborate on that we do every year. Gotcha. We have a couple pieces of equipment meant that people can see what they can get their hands on.
00:40:15
Speaker
Yep. And that is... Where are they? I just had them here. I believe it's booth 731.
00:40:26
Speaker
It is. Yes, it is. Okay. What day do you guys set up, Spencer? Spencer. I get in Monday to help John set up. He gets in the night before with the trucks. So we set up Monday early and then we'll be done by Tuesday. Nice.
00:40:44
Speaker
Very cool. ah Jeremy Stucci has a but a booth there this year. i'll do they? Yep. yes So i definitely want to check them out.
00:40:55
Speaker
um And i I think we'll go visit Big Papa there, Adam Hansen at Sinatech. Oh, yeah. Check out their booth. They got a new additive coming this year that could be good for for liquid dudes in the Northeast. um And I would encourage everybody. I've done this program. There's a booth. Booth 389 is Snow Care for Troops.
00:41:20
Speaker
It's a great program. I did it years ago um when when deployments were you know at the max in the GWAT there. It's basically just you you tell them what area you're in and how far you're willing to travel. And when troops are deployed in in that area, they call you and you can plow the driveways for the deployed families.
00:41:40
Speaker
So it's actually a great, yeah, it's a great program. I did it for years and years um until they just stopped having guys because we have a couple air bases in the area. um But they just basically stopped having guys in our area. So, I mean, technically, I think we're still a part of it. We just don't get called for for anybody anymore. But, yeah, that's Snow Care for Troops, Booth 389.
00:42:00
Speaker
You just sign up, tell them your zip code. Tell them what services you can do and how far you're willing to travel. And then they will, if they have families in that area that apply for the program that when their their loved ones are deployed, you know, you just take care of plowing the driveway for them for free. Is that the Project Evergreen?
00:42:18
Speaker
Yes. Yep. Same thing. It's Green Care for Troops and Snow Care for Troops. seem Same company. So definitely a good, very good cause to do to do. So if you're interested at all, check out that booth.
00:42:31
Speaker
I'm trying to write that down. i had I see tree can snowmelters has a booth this year. Coming off a big winter.
00:42:42
Speaker
us lot of weather companies this year.
00:42:47
Speaker
lot of weather companies. Is there any called the weather rock? You got WeatherWorks, Weather Command. You got Spectrum Weather.
00:43:00
Speaker
You got, I mean, that might be the most of any of them, of any category. That might be the most booths is weather. It's all the AI now. Yeah, pretty much. we can read the weather, Jeremy. get the Get the Snow Jobs Weather Rock program going.
00:43:16
Speaker
just you Riley was supposed to get us the rocks. We'll ship them up. It's true. He was. That was like from day one. Now when delivery, we'll have to update that.
00:43:27
Speaker
um Does anybody know what Launchpad is? Is that another technology? like a I was looking it up. I couldn't really find too much on it. Launchpad, booth 334.
00:43:42
Speaker
J&R Sheds. Jimmy's got a booth this year. she's only and je egg homes will be there. I noticed that. That's the first year he's done his own booth, right? No, he had one in Connecticut. yeah The first year the egg homes ever hit the U.S., he had two of the small egg homes there um because we crammed Sean into the cab of one just see how big it was.
00:44:07
Speaker
We're doing that again. I still think I might fit a little easier now. Probably not. Absolutely. i mean, this is Svelte, Sean, man. This is like half a Sean. Svelte, Sean.
00:44:19
Speaker
Oh, man. Yeah, i mean, there's a lot of stuff. ah IBG Magic's got a booth, so I'll check them out and ask them what happened last year.
00:44:30
Speaker
Headwaters has a booth.
00:44:34
Speaker
I feel like there's a lot of de-icing. There's a lot of de-icing and liquid stuff and bagged salt companies and stuff this year. A lot of consulting groups.
00:44:49
Speaker
Are we one of them? What? Are we one of them? No, it's more like guys that are going to tell you how to run your business if you don't know how to do it yourself. If you're interested, Launchpad is, in a sense, like an encompassing operating system.
00:45:05
Speaker
Helps with the retrieval, invoices, customer value, stuff like that for thought it service companies, landscapers. no I was just looking at their website. Yep. Cool. So, yeah, it's a tech software.
00:45:19
Speaker
ah We got the Boss Booth, 295. Got Case Construction, 703.
00:45:26
Speaker
So we'll check. Yeah, there are a lot of, I'm just going through the list here. There are a ton of de-icing stuff.
00:45:35
Speaker
Wow. Crazy. All right, Patty, what about you? i just rattled off like 12 boots. I'm going to go see. What do you got What are you looking forward to checking out? Yeah, I mean, it really hasn't changed a whole lot in the last couple of years, to be honest. But Had a couple, a lot of liquids guys this year. There's a GCG, Global Commodity Distribution. They do EcoShield. Never heard of them before. They seem ah they get liquid de-icers for direct application, brine enhancement. They also do stockpile treatment. They're out of Chicago, Illinois, but it says that they service 49 states. um
00:46:15
Speaker
there what is the You can say you service 49 states, but if the price doesn't make sense by the time they get it to the Northeast, that's our biggest problem here, right? Yeah, no, I understand that part with the Northeast. But, I mean, just we do a lot of work all over the country. So i just my my phone's constantly blowing up asking where. you sorry. yeah I get a lot of people asking where, you know, they want to get in the liquids, this, that. They can't produce brine or they don't have the capital to do it in the first year. So I get a lot of questions um on where to source brine. So I've been trying to be pretty good about helping people out with that. Yeah. Dude, you are killing it. Like, every time, no matter what person I talk to, wherever they are in the country, if it's about liquids, it's Pat Salmon's name comes up. So you are like the national national liquids dealer guy. got a head just grows. Crazy, right? Just took up the whole screen. Oh, my God. Camera's bigger. Turn your camera sideways so it fits. Can we go wide angle, please, on the camera view? Yeah, wide angle.
00:47:21
Speaker
Great to have. So, yeah, no, I appreciate that's why he can do that big party he's doing. even he He can do that big party he's doing. I don't think it's rocket science. You do what you say you're going to do, and you make things happen for them.
00:47:34
Speaker
Yeah, you know, you pretty much it help people out. what you say you're going to Answer the phone when you say you're going to answer the phone. So, anyway, I like checking out all the ah different liquid suppliers. Throw them in the phone. Help people out on where they can, you know, possibly get product.
00:47:50
Speaker
Other than that, a lot of software companies. I was going to mention Crew Vision. I also noticed Glacier Ops. um Yeah, I saw them. it seems We use Yeti. We've had them for ah decent amount of time. To be 100% honest, I don't see a lot of the back-end office side of that. Sean, does does Yeti do dispatching?
00:48:14
Speaker
ah i don't know.
00:48:17
Speaker
How it not do that? but Next question. That does not meanitioner here mean That means Sean doesn't have any clue, basically. right Probably 30% of what it's designed for.
00:48:31
Speaker
Yeah, I don't do any of the back end stuff on on the software. So I have no idea. Like mom's department. It does. Yeah, it does a lot. I know it does a lot of stuff. Same with myself, but I feel like one of our, in the last, you know, this year we had a tough time. Year before, one of our biggest problems is dispatching, making sure everybody's available, making sure we didn't forget to call somebody in and then telling them the routes when they do get in. So when I was glancing at the Glacier Ops quick, you can pre-assign routes, which you can do with Yeti. One thing that stood out is you can pre-build a route, right? So you can say, all right,
00:49:12
Speaker
This is who I want to come in when I hit this one button on a dusting. You can have one preloaded for a six-inch event. You can have it down to the specific day, time of the week, you know to hit different priority sites and different routes, right, um based on the event that you're getting. So you know they do...
00:49:37
Speaker
one click text everybody you want to come in it makes them confirm that they're actually coming in There's a thing that you can set up to text them all before an event and they have to answer whether or not they're available. So I think that'll be good to check out.
00:49:52
Speaker
ah i that' yeah I did say Crew Vision, right? That was one of mine, right? Yeah, you said Crew Vision. I was looking at that as well. So um anything dispatching related, i think we really would really be beneficial for us to look into that into this year. This is your show then because there's a ton of software here.
00:50:11
Speaker
Yeah, that was definitely one of our downfalls this year in my opinion. Other than that, just hitting the the staples, Voss Plow, they have a new sprayer design come out this year, Liquid Tech.
00:50:23
Speaker
People should go check that out. Oh, yeah? Yeah. Basically the same, some changes, but um go check that out. I know they had a ah ah heavier version of the spreaders electric spreaders come out in larger larger size capacities.
00:50:42
Speaker
on that will you know we'll be hitting arctic plows we uh ran the razor back in our fleet for the first time this year and that uh greatly improved our truck plowing capabilities for sure you think great oh yes we've been running xls's since you know the day they came out great plow no comparison though right totally different absolute crap Yeah, you'll move snow with them, but they're not they can't scrape evenly.
00:51:11
Speaker
Right. So to be able to move the volume of snow, I mean, the Razorback pushes a larger volume snow all day long over an XLS, but to be able to move those large volumes of snow and then still get the the quality scrape that you need with using liquids, that was that was game changer. i It sounds like they have some new stuff coming out as well.
00:51:30
Speaker
Yeah, we have a few different changes. Yeah, that'll be awesome. Other than that, you know, we'll be checking out Mr. Adam Hansen at Cinetech, Turbo Todd, Turbo Melt.
00:51:41
Speaker
Sounds like they're going to have some additives that are going to be a lot more readily available, especially cost-effective on the East Coast this year. um Cost-effective additives have kind of been a pain point on the East Coast.
00:51:56
Speaker
Hell yes. For sure. we get Storm Equipment, they got their big release. Yes. The boys over at wolf Wolf America, Harry, he's always good to see.
00:52:09
Speaker
Absolutely. Absolutely. It's always good to see the same people. Still doing it right. i got it I got to find out. like I don't see muskox on the list, but they got to be going, right?
00:52:24
Speaker
I would think so for their new. They're not on the list. I would think they'd be there for the, the, uh, yeah, the, uh, the inverted blower, they gotta be there.
00:52:36
Speaker
So, I mean, I'm definitely going to track those boys down.
00:52:41
Speaker
But yeah, don't see them on the list. Yeah, I just looked at this website a couple weeks ago, and they updated a good amount as far as attendees so or exhibitors. They're not up there yet.
00:52:53
Speaker
Man, there's a lot of software companies. Holy crap. There's got to be 12 software companies on here. Other than that, i mean, it'll be interesting to talk to... like winter equipment or evolution edges or does the the saber it it sounds like carbide went through the absolute roof this year it did yeah 30 percent huh like 30 percent no i was hearing like 200 percent oh don't know about that but it's it's definitely it definitely went up crazy
00:53:28
Speaker
Very crazy, but I don't know about 200%. That sounds a little nuts. Time to go readjust our numbers. we run We run a lot of carbide.
00:53:40
Speaker
Spencer, you guys do carbide. it up 200%? I don't know at this point, man. Prices are so fluctuating at the moment. Well, that is true. that's a Excuse me, important. It's not a big terror of some sphere.
00:53:54
Speaker
Isn't it? Sorry. All that shit. Couldn't tell you. Hmm. Wild. What?
00:54:07
Speaker
I'm going to disable the chat board. Oh, what the hell is that? Oh, Christ.
00:54:18
Speaker
I'm trying to see what else here. Hey, Patty, I was just looking on Yeti's website. It looks like they do do dispatching on the back end.
00:54:30
Speaker
Sean on the the beginner page learning about the software he's had for three years.
00:54:40
Speaker
You are killing me, dude. Snowmanager.com, I would assume that's another another software. Yeah. It seemed like it was more invoicing and...
00:54:57
Speaker
Midwest Air Drones. Interesting. What's that? I would guess it's a drone company, but there's no. severe thunderstorm watch has been issued. Oops.
00:55:09
Speaker
yeah What's that, Jeremy? We got a weather in the area tonight. We got Reed Timmer's in the area. Oh, yeah, you do. You got the tornado chasers. I saw that in mine. it I hope it sucks me out of the apartment and fucking takes me away. Christ.
00:55:26
Speaker
All happy in that household, huh? Oh, God. Trying to see if there's anything else I'm checking on here. does you got You got an interrogation light on you right now, Jeremy.
00:55:39
Speaker
that's just tanning with that's a tan this juy black zombie like oh my suck my son went away i'm getting a touch up That's his Big Daddy got his son today. We had our annual golf outing.
00:55:52
Speaker
How'd that go? ah John didn't kill any birds or animals, so that was a win. Was he wearing his pants? Which ones? His funny golf pants. His big daddy pants.
00:56:04
Speaker
Yeah. yeah he's He's got a whole closet full of them, I'm sure. Oh, that's great. He wasn't in his onesie, so that was a win. Oh, God. You seen that picture, Jeremy?
00:56:15
Speaker
Yeah, I've seen that picture. I've seen that picture. How many people golfed?
00:56:23
Speaker
Uh, what was the final list I had? 33, little less this year. We planned it pretty last minute. It kind of fell on my lap and I sort of forgot about it. But, um, a few weeks I'll start planning. We had about 15 people who couldn't. We, we try to divvy it up because obviously we got a lot of service guys and a lot of people at the factory that don't golf. So we do other things for that and then do golfing, but always a good time.
00:56:48
Speaker
Very cool. So what are you, you got anything on your list outside of the Arctic booth that you're going to check out, Spence? Definitely going to say hello to the people at Storm 100% Wednesday and Thursday. It should be fun.
00:57:02
Speaker
Case as always. And then I'm going to go over to the, ah that snow care for troops you're talking about, the event green project, look more into that. And then kind of curious about that launch pad as well.
00:57:16
Speaker
I usually just walk around and say hello to everyone we know. Yep. yeah Cool. Metal Plus. They'll get my picture when I'm in their booth. There you go. Can i go with? Yeah.
00:57:27
Speaker
That is booth 171 for those wanting to check that out. Yeah. it be Actually, they got two booths. It'll be cautious, slippery, and wet signs around it. They do have two booths. I noticed that. Two booths this year, 171 and 181. They're circling us.
00:57:44
Speaker
I think last year. You don't fight a two-front war. you know That's like tactics 101.
00:57:50
Speaker
Oh, my God. Let's see. You got the usuals. You got ProTech's going to be there. got Cage.
00:58:02
Speaker
ah Let's see. ProTech was sponsoring one of the parties. They always do. Do they? Yeah, i think they're doing um the Thursday Wednesday night.
00:58:13
Speaker
Wednesday. yeah they they switched up how Wednesday's working now. I'm all confused. for I'll throw this out there because it's actually important for for the residential guys because we have had a bunch of questions in the last couple months about residential stuff, the best software out there to do resis. Folosoft is booth 619.
00:58:34
Speaker
that is ah That was designed just for residential for the the company that did it. That's for like the Quebec, the the Canadian driveway game up there. So that's ah that's all residential driveway dispatching and all that stuff. So if you're in the the driveway game and you're looking for software, Folosoft is 619. What else?

Vendor Feedback & Industry Discussions

00:59:00
Speaker
Evolution Edges is ah is what, Pat? is that um They carry the Sabre carbide edges. But it's not actually Sabre. It's just they carry them? Or that is Sabre now?
00:59:13
Speaker
I don't know to be 100%. Oh, no. that' myra That's the same company. Okay. Yep. I just looked up. Oh, they carry the Joma Edges too? Gotcha. All right. Cool.
00:59:26
Speaker
A lot of salt companies, which yeah I think it's going to be funny to hear from them. Oh, can you guarantee me salt in January? I mean, hey, i will I will say if we're talking about that, Eastern Salt Company, that's who we deal with. Great people over there. Mm-hmm.
00:59:43
Speaker
Middle end of winter, they did stop. They stopped taking on new customers, but we did not get shut off. We did not get a price increase. And everybody that I talked to who dealt with them, they held pricing the same throughout the entire winter and nobody was shorted salt. They just didn't.
01:00:03
Speaker
Eastern was great. Yeah, they they actually said that. Hey, you guys are getting more expensive. We don't do that. We don't play that game. Yeah, so any of the you know guys in Mass, Rhode Island, Connecticut, they're great to deal with. I know they even shipped some salt up to Robert at some point. I think it was earlier in the year, but excellent company to deal with.
01:00:26
Speaker
No, i buy I bought from Eastern all year. Okay, i I didn't realize you were buying from them all a year. I thought it was just the one triaxle of Solar Salt you got from them. No, we bought like 12 triaxles of Solar Salt this year.
01:00:40
Speaker
But did they they did they ever tell you no or did they change the rate? not No, they never tried to charge more, never changed, never.
01:00:51
Speaker
They never told me no either. Because for granular applications, we're just picking it up in the, wherever their dock is. So, and then whenever I wanted white solar salt, I just call and make a delivery. Cause it comes out of, was it, think, or ever Everett? Everett.
01:01:13
Speaker
Because was told that they have more white solar salt than they had anything else. Yeah, I think they kind of allib but i may be incorrect, but my understanding is they kind of allocate it to the people who asked for it at the beginning of the year. So just because there's a shortage and they say guaranteed us another, you know, 500 tons, right, for the rest of the winter, they're not going to just say, ah we're short on rock salt and we have new customers. We're just going to give that away. Yeah.
01:01:43
Speaker
They were honest. That was, yeah I guess it's unheard of. Very honest company to work with. Yeah, they were good.
01:01:54
Speaker
Unfortunately, there's a bunch of nationals that have boots.
01:01:59
Speaker
What? No way. Yeah. Yeah. Divisions. You got case divisions, case facilities management divisions. ah You got M core evergreen brands, which I believe is the old trans blue.
01:02:19
Speaker
um Yeah. So no plow right this year. Huh? What? No plow right this year.
01:02:29
Speaker
No, I don't think there's not enough. You know what it is? There's not enough bang for their buck. i Yeah, I kind of figured that. I just remember you know last most of these places. I mean, honestly, you're you're paying a shit ton for a boot space. And unless you're making enough sales to to cover it, it's just not worth it. It's more it's more beneficial for the smaller companies to go to like your yours or Stork's or or Storm Day.
01:02:53
Speaker
You know, there's way more ROI.
01:02:58
Speaker
100%. Booth 802 is tracked lifts. Advertising on this show is more ah ROI than you know a booth at Syma. By far. 100%. Booth 803, tracked lifts.
01:03:12
Speaker
That's not a cheap booth to advertise a scissor lift on. That's what that is. Scissor lift? Oh, I didn't even see it. oh look look at that. It's a spider lift, but I don't know. Unless you're doing a mini roofs snow um an immense amount of roofs. Yeah, maybe roof snow.
01:03:34
Speaker
Well, I mean, you know, there is an ask for every seat. A lot of weather companies, though, that I've never heard of before. Anybody know what Snow Troopers is?
01:03:51
Speaker
the turn into into Star Wars. or troopers I love you. You cracked me up. That was perfect.
01:04:03
Speaker
What else? I'm trying to look. get me up I gotta knock it out. That's it, bro. I'll keep setting. You keep spiking. These amount of clothing companies as well.
01:04:15
Speaker
Really? Oric is there. so The snow rhino is still alive. Oh, the rental's still there. Sean, didn't you grab one? Yeah. Yeah, I did, actually. How was it, buddy?
01:04:27
Speaker
I don't think we ever asked you about it. Yeah, it was good. i have no complaints. It does the job, right? It does, yeah. It's a little slower than the Snow Raider. Definitely slower than the Snow Raider, but it's ah it's good for what it is.
01:04:39
Speaker
The price of it was the only machines available during the great sidewalk machine shortage of this year. Yeah. Yeah, it worked out. It's not going to get any better now with one less line.
01:04:54
Speaker
You know, there's nothing new coming to market as far as I know. All right, maybe there is. We'll see. Simon's usually a drop for that kind of stuff.
01:05:07
Speaker
So maybe you'll see Douglas with something or who knows, but I know it won't be 36 inches. You know? I know.
01:05:19
Speaker
I know what's new. I'm just not saying. Oh, he's he's holding the secrets. Uh-oh. I can hold it. I can hold it two more weeks. Well, you know what? Let's let's hit some commercials, and we're going to talk them out of it real quick. we'll try we'll We'll pry this out of them. We'll be right back.

01:06:59
Speaker
i only oh we i only asked about the sidewalk machine.
01:07:05
Speaker
Not telling you. That's cool. I know a bunch of new stuff that's coming out, too, but I'm not telling you guys. You have to walk around find out. He's got nothing. Nobody knows who you are. Just be quiet. He's got nothing. I know about all the new stuff. I'm calling his boss. How are your knickerbockers doing? they lose last night?
01:07:22
Speaker
They did lose. Yeah, Sean was very upset about that. Robert, you got boots? What are you looking for this this this show? are you just there to keep Sean in line? I'm in and keep Sean in line. Somebody's got to fucking wake his ass up.
01:07:39
Speaker
No, um I mean, i want to stop at buyers. I don't know. Like, I should say, I know that they don't have kind of like what I'm looking for as far as like hydraulic pumps and things, but I kind of like to just kind of chat to somebody about that.
01:07:56
Speaker
um The icing depot. because i kind of am making my own sprayers and brine maker currently. So nice kind of steal some more ideas off of things.
01:08:12
Speaker
So lots of pictures. Yes. Um, uh, sign attack. Um, I know I've talked to Adam a little bit, but it's always nice to, uh, talk to him some more.
01:08:26
Speaker
i was going to look at that, uh, crew vision as well. Um, I don't know if I'll kind of really look at it. I just kind of threw it it in there. Just if I have time, I'll look at it, but.
01:08:38
Speaker
ah Eastern Salt's there. I'll probably stop there. And we just started using a clothing company, HiViz Supply, for all of our, like, Class 3 vests and hard hats and everything. and Yeah, we use them.
01:08:55
Speaker
Yeah, they seem to be pretty great. you know Yeah, good stuff. Yeah, just for putting a simple logo on a hard hat and stuff. I mean, it's pretty good. Very good stuff. Decently priced, too. That's good to know.
01:09:08
Speaker
But I'm probably going to go to like every liquid-based vendor that I can find too because of the issue, ongoing issue of additives in Maine, which is impossible. Well, supposedly there's a couple out there that should be reasonably priced and available in the Northeast because they will have Pennsylvania mixing plants this year.
01:09:33
Speaker
So we'll yeah i know but we'll keep you updated on that. Yeah, but Pennsylvania does not help me. Pennsylvania is five hours south. But it's fucking quicker than, it's cheaper and quicker than Chicago. What's the matter? You don't like driving down to see me every year? It's audience's literally cheaper for me to drive down to Pat's and pick up shit a thousand gallons at a time. Where do you think Pat's getting it from?
01:09:56
Speaker
Pennsylvania. We get in much larger quantities, though. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. You're getting the big quantities. 2,000 gallons. nice
01:10:08
Speaker
I wish my invoice reflected 2,000 gallons. I wish it didn't. Oh, my God. Too funny. I just got some news that you'll like, Steve.
01:10:19
Speaker
Just got notification. Some very nice cups were shipped today. There you go. cups ever. Yeah. I'm going to start putting that on them.
01:10:32
Speaker
You guys doing the glass ones again this year, too? Yeah. ah The Sima L trail. Yeah, we'll do those. We're we're going to do some custom ones at the party, but we're just going to stick with the L trail.
01:10:43
Speaker
We'll be celebrating Steve's birthday, too, and Randy's birthday. Yeah. Mr. Stringes. He's turning the big 7-0. I forgot to mention that earlier. Yeah. So we'll make sure to bring that up.
01:10:55
Speaker
When's his birthday? July 17th. No shit. All right, cool. I have to send him a present. That's awesome. And Velarde's birthday, too, coming up. Yeah. When's that? You're celebrating a lot, Velarde.
01:11:10
Speaker
ah so Yeah, it's and well yeah unfortunately or fortunately whatever. June 28th is Mr. Velarde. June 28th is the 5-0, and then the June 30th is the 2-0 wedding anniversary.
01:11:24
Speaker
Yup. That's what I said. I wouldn't get married before I turned 30 because life officially started going downhill at 30. So I'm like, all right, you know, I'm not getting married till 30. All right. Now I can get married. I'm sure you told Gina that too. I did. You know, know you I know you I know you did. And she laughed her ass off as she does. Like, ah you know, she's perfect like that. Everything I say that'll normally get me slapped. She thinks is hysterical.
01:11:50
Speaker
Well, it works. Oh, what else? Anything else? Oh, you know what i also got to check out? I got to check out the other Arctic, the the Canadian Arctic, the truck plows, because Graham from GHI actually had one this winter. And he said, you he goes, yeah, it actually was not a bad plow.
01:12:12
Speaker
So I got to look at them little closer now. Our friends across the border. yeah those Those boys at GHS beat some stuff up, too. Oh, yeah. Yeah, Graham, don't fuck around. Graham is full send.
01:12:25
Speaker
He'll just weld it back together. Exactly. I mean, he will. They do lot of gravel parking lots and everything, though, so... They do a lot of everything. they ah But, yeah, graham's the man Graham is awesome, man. Graham is peddled to the floor, you know, full send. Let's get this shit done.
01:12:43
Speaker
We'll fix it later. Wow, I want to go to the truck. he dude Well, the funny thing was we got him to go with Antarctic after you know two years of hearing the show and talking to him about it. he went with He's like, how how much of a difference could it possibly be?
01:13:00
Speaker
And he went with it. He called immediately. He's like, yeah, okay, I get it now. I had no idea. so he had a lot of fun. He had a lot of fun last winter, and he had a doozy, too. He had, like, the same winter we had, so he got beat up.
01:13:19
Speaker
I'm trying to think what else. If there's anything else I was going to check out while I was there. Man, so many weather companies. AccuWeather, BAMWeather. There's one in every letter. AccuWeather, BAMWeather.
01:13:33
Speaker
What else we got here? Let me see. There's so many weathers. You got WeatherWorks. You got...
01:13:47
Speaker
What else? there's like so There's like eight weather companies I've never heard of. I've never heard of Weather Command. Nope.
01:13:57
Speaker
Nope.
01:13:59
Speaker
What is Turbo Technologies? I don't know.
01:14:05
Speaker
I wish when you clicked on all of some of them don't have anything when you click on them. There's a lot of them that don't even have a website. They don't have a web link. They don't have anything. I wish the the site was a little more functional.
01:14:17
Speaker
What is Wind Defender? Because if you go on their website, it's literally like erosion control. i No, I believe it's tarping. I believe it's tarping for salt piles, stuff like that.
01:14:29
Speaker
Yeah, that's what I believe it is. I believe it's like permeable. um Oh, yeah, because they have gas collection, geomembrane. Yeah, I believe that's what it is. I believe it's like tarping for mass quantities or like like landfill tarping or something like that.
01:14:46
Speaker
Yeah.
01:14:48
Speaker
But, yeah, anybody else got anything they're going to check out?
01:14:55
Speaker
Just see the buddies. Have a good time. Enjoy the few days we get together. And, yeah. Yes, sir. Have a couple of drinks. Right, Jeremy? Yep. Have a couple drinks. Check out some cool shit. and Go to Applebee's.
01:15:09
Speaker
yeah It's not sponsored by Arctic. No, it's not sponsored by us. go to the arctic party Your description is advised. Go at your own risk.
01:15:21
Speaker
The trade show is also open on Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. if you want to be one of the 10 people there. yeah Jeremy is bringing the tank. right i will we on me We'll be on the plane.
01:15:35
Speaker
what We all have early flights out. so i think I think I'm home by 9.45 a.m. on Friday. yeah yeah yeah I go right to a hockey tournament. Pros and cons getting everyone licked her up the night before.
01:15:48
Speaker
Yup. I'm trying to think if there's any seminars here. right to the airport that's That's it. That's what we did in Pittsburgh. That's what happened in Pittsburgh. Yup. That happens everywhere.
01:16:01
Speaker
yeah The people sitting next to me on a plane definitely hand vodka sleep definitely snore their ears off. I don't care. Yeah, but you don't snore anymore, Sean. Yeah, that's right. That is crazy.
01:16:13
Speaker
Not at all? According to my wife. Wow, good for her. i don't know. Good for you. what for Good It's not even good for you, Sean. I'm looking at the ah seminars to see if anything catches my eye here on that. ah Kellen Stevenson, actually, from Paradigm out there in Montana.
01:16:38
Speaker
ah He's doing a liquids on a budget on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Good for Rob. Yeah, ah and then somebody from Swinter Group. I don't know who Swinter Group is.
01:16:51
Speaker
Swinter is... They are a company out of, I think, st Louis. They're like pretty much a management company. They have ah they have one of their softwares on there, on the website. first Oh, is that the one? they they all their All their stuff is from Nationals?
01:17:06
Speaker
Yeah, it's all subcontractors. Got it. Okay. um ah I'm vaguely familiar. um There's a bunch of AI shit. chat how How to get chat GPT to do your work for you.
01:17:20
Speaker
um Yeah. <unk> Go out and plow for me, Mr. Chat. No, it's more like how to... yeah I think it's more for people that are not... i don't know I don't know how to say it. I'm not going to say it. a Recruiting playbook. How to hire middle managers.
01:17:40
Speaker
ah
01:17:43
Speaker
Winter contract. There's an attorney that's going to do ah a winter contract audit to see if you have any glaring things. Who knows? but I don't know how you do that in an hour.
01:17:56
Speaker
Has everybody bought their tickets to Sama yet? No. You get them in the day of. I do have a door. Yeah, exactly. Spencer will send us them.
01:18:07
Speaker
I think they're more expensive for us. What's the pre-conference on Tuesday? What's the what, Pat? What's the pre-conference on Tuesday? I don't even see it on here. That's a conference before the conference. That's called a pre-conference. It's the big daddy show.
01:18:24
Speaker
If I had your knowledge, I'd be smart enough not to plow snow. I'd be smart enough not to go to the pre-conference. What? We know a couple guys. You get Jeremy Kirkham speaking that day. got Ryan, I'm probably going to murder his last name, Quigley from Storm Solutions to talking. i About what? What are they talking about? Ryan is the business case for liquids. And then Jeremy is also lessons learned from starting a liquids program.
01:19:00
Speaker
Too much liquid shit. Yeah, you're good, Steve.
01:19:06
Speaker
No, I'm just saying it's too much liquid shit. Too much? Yeah. Pushing the agenda. So they keep telling me. What, Sean?
01:19:17
Speaker
Pushing the agenda. Listen, buddy, you keep salting so hard, you're just pushing it even more. I'm not doing anything different than this piece of stuff. I barely have to put any salt down.
01:19:29
Speaker
This is also true. Yeah.
01:19:33
Speaker
That's like making electric cars. How many booths are there this year? Are they up or down? Anybody you know? What? Up in numbers? so We all know they always go up in numbers. I think there's over a hundred. I think there's over 140. time checked. There's a lot of booths.
01:19:50
Speaker
Yeah? I mean, there's

Event Speculations & Additional Content

01:19:52
Speaker
a lot of booths. I don't know how many attendees. I mean, I don't think you're ever going to get an accurate number of attendees. If I had to guess, 1500 would be number.
01:20:01
Speaker
Total for the two days? Last year at our party, we clocked 483 people in total that showed up. So I'm assuming.
01:20:13
Speaker
That's probably 80% of the attendees in the show. I mean, I'm not kidding.
01:20:19
Speaker
Only 1,500?
01:20:22
Speaker
What do you mean only $1,500? That's generous. I think that's the number. $1,400 or $1,500 was the number we got couple years ago, and I didn't see that. Like Pittsburgh, the i remember fighting gra yeah I remember the number they they put out, and I'm like, what?
01:20:39
Speaker
Like that? No way. not think grand I think the Grand Rapids show is busier and than Pittsburgh, in my opinion. Well, that's always, they they say they go back to Grand Rapids because that's the most popular location. Anything that's in the middle tends to be better.
01:20:53
Speaker
So now they should be good then. Yeah, I think the middle and then and then the East Coast, the states are so close together. i think it's a lot easier for people to drive to and justify the cost of going for even just a a day, right? For five hours. for mean, Hartford was packed. Hartford, the actual trade show day, Hartford was packed with people. Yeah, and that's the first first one I ever went to.
01:21:18
Speaker
and then we went to Pittsburgh, and I was like, man, this seems small. That's what I said. that's exactly student touch They got to do Nashville. We could do a Broadway party, Jeremy, if they do Nashville. I would go to Nashville. Yes, let's go to Nashville. Let's just go to Nashville. You see Equips equipse doing Orlando? Let's go next weekend.
01:21:36
Speaker
They're flip-flopping every year. Every other year, yeah. That's actually a smart move. I think 2029 is the first year, yeah. It's a smart move. Yeah, they'll flip-flop each time.
01:21:47
Speaker
Be a long drive for me and Big Daddy. Then I will go. Let's go to Nashville this weekend. I was just there for CMA just for one night. I just go for. i was going to go. Was that last weekend or this weekend? I don't remember. Yeah, my mom's side. My step family's side. They go for like five days. We don't go to the show. We just go to the Broadway. But I was there for one night. It's good time.
01:22:09
Speaker
That's cool. Yeah. Sean. want to go. Sean, do you want to drive to Cincinnati or you want to fly? Yeah. I already got my ticket. I know. I'm surprised Robert isn't driving. He drives everywhere.
01:22:24
Speaker
I'll fly. You'll fly? I'm in a little tiny plane, dude. 45 minute stores.
01:22:35
Speaker
Switch your ticket over to Newark. I'm in a little tiny plane, man. I'm in a little one of those CRJ 900s. The one that has all the military helicopters flying into them everywhere. Yeah. They go up, they go down. it is what it is. nothing Yeah, they go down.
01:22:52
Speaker
Enjoy the ride. I heard the the smaller ones, they crash more gracefully. That is untrue. Less late. Do we know where it is in 2027, or do they not release that yet?
01:23:05
