Speaker: What do you call an underground group of solar professionals on a mission to create a more sustainable world?
Speaker: We call ourselves solopreneurs.
Speaker: And while some might call us crazy, foolish, and dissatisfied with the status quo, we're the ones taking action to create a better future for ourselves and the world.

Speaker: Okay, I'm going to make this one brief.
Speaker: I don't want to try to compete with Dave Ramsey and other finance guys, but I am going to talk a little bit about your mindset around money and wealth.
Speaker: As you make the jump to six figures, seven figures, eight figures, whatever it is, you're going to face new roadblocks, new challenges.
Speaker: Most of those challenges, mark my words, 90% of those challenges are going to come from you.
Speaker: Your beliefs, the way you were raised, the way, the environment that you're around, that, your belief system and how you view money and the world, that's what's going to get in your way.
Speaker: So how do we break this habit?
Speaker: We need to identify our feelings around money.
Speaker: So do this simple exercise.
Speaker: Write down what you think about money.
Speaker: What do you think about making six figures?
Speaker: How would that make you feel?
Speaker: What do you think your parents would think about that?
Speaker: Your friends, your inner circle, people that hang around you.
Speaker: What would they think about you if you made $100,000 in the next six months?
Speaker: What would they say?
Speaker: Write down the good, the bad, the ugly.
Speaker: Because what you're going to find is a lot of those negative mindsets, those negative things that come up when you write these down, those are what are going to stop you from reaching those goals.
Speaker: In other words, you are becoming afraid of success.
Speaker: And if you're afraid of success, why on earth would you put in the work, the 9 to 9, the 12 to 8, 6 days a week?
Speaker: Why on earth would you put together that focus if you were afraid of reaching your goal?
Speaker: See, most solar reps, when I train them and I work with them one-on-one, they're afraid of reaching their goals because maybe their parents, they're afraid their parents are going to judge them.
Speaker: They're afraid of money because they used to think rich people are greedy, and they don't want to be one of those people.
Speaker: They think in their head logically they want to, but emotionally, the way they've been brought up, the habits, the mindsets, the wiring in their brain, right, they don't want it to happen.
Speaker: So you've got to get your mindset around money correct.
Speaker: Study people who are successful, be around them, surround yourself around these people, develop their habits, see what they're doing, and then you can break through the bullshit, right?
