Baker Plbg: Okay, serious question. Who is actually ah shipping out their estimates to provide accurate, timely plumbing takeoffs using Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and FastPipe?
Baker Plbg: I get like eight of those a day. They've all been blocked. I go directly to my junk mail, but that seems like the most foolhardy thing you could do.
Baker Plbg: is get your estimates done by a third party. Is anybody actually doing that? It's like the, you know how the, um all the social or the SEO people were for, you know, five or six years, you had to be on the first page of Google. And that was, you got those endlessly. And now everything's who's answering your phones.
Baker Plbg: get your AI assistant, answer your phones. ah Clearly I'm ahead of the curve because we have, I have never missed a phone call 15 years. It's all done by live answer. It's very reasonable. It's all local.
Baker Plbg: Our call center that we use is in Edmonton. And they do a spectacular job. they They are able to be a filter for the nitwits that call constantly. um And they act as a barrier, like a gatekeeper, so that if i I don't have to answer every call, I can sort of weed through the ones that are important and the ones that aren't.
Baker Plbg: um
Baker Plbg: ah it's It's fantastic. What does it cost me? It depends on call volume, but the base cost is about $350, and we probably spend $4 or $5, roughly.
Baker Plbg: and And they are answered 24-7, 365 by a live voice. There's another one right there.

No, thank you. um There's lots of, I mean, the the best thing about life is having options and you always want to have options, but I think that's a stupid option and that you should look at to support, frankly, your local economy and your local call center.
