our contest of sorts for painting. So yeah, I don't really have a lot of experience with painting. Like I have only customized colors of like very, very few kits. I had a Nobel kit as well as a little EW wing, an SD. And I guess the most comprehensive one that I've painted is a Momo-chan.

the Momo, pink Momo that I turned into like a galaxy sort of for GWC. I remember that. Yeah. So that's the most comprehensive painting that I've done. And after that, this is the last one. So I haven't really painted a lot. I airbrush. So I know there are lots of tips and tricks on how to customize, especially when it comes to painting. But for me, I use an airbrush.

some highlights on some of the edges. Like what I did for this manorote, it originally was an orange and white or like off-white combination. And I turned it into something red orange. I was going for a flame effect with this one, but I got too hard on the reds. And so it turned out like just highlighting the bulky parts as orange. So customization is really tricky.

Like for me, I'm only talking about customizing in terms of painting, and it's already a very broad topic to explore, right? But for beginners, we, I mean, as a beginner, when I started, I was taught to really focus on detailing, using panel liners, if you're using that. So I use Temia panel liners, as well as

If you're planning to, let's say, use the markers or the pens, that's also a good way to start if you're customizing the colors of your kits. But if you want to go through a more advanced one, you can go with the canisters for spray painting. I usually do acrylics for this one.

You can always go by using airbrush machines, so it's really a work in progress. Almost everything that I've learned, I've learned from the Gunpla community, the Gunpla communities that I joined, and from watching YouTube. So that's so far for customization for me.

I removed the original weapons and I replaced it with scrap katana weapons and I bulk up the chest with

You know, the giant beef of the ST Sengoku astray, I used that and slapped it in the chest and then did the custom painting. As simple as that. That was a very simple kit bash. That's simple. Yeah, I just technically removed three parts and then slapped in one big part. That's it. I didn't do any modification or anything.

And then, okay, so basically I'm just telling you the evolution of my work. Yes, go for it. And then I explored and explored. I started getting these third party add-on hits.

I did some modification. I drilled a hole at the back. So this optional backpack can fit in. And then I can attach this wing effect. Where did the wings come from? These are from 30 minute missions. And these open up like this. Wow.

Yeah, the Senguku Astra kit then tried to attempt to custom the very quote-unquote, quote-unquote, try and do an Amatamina because looking back at it, yeah, there was a reason why my work got laughed on, but yeah, looking back at it, I'd laugh too, honestly. It was kind of that bad, but it didn't stop me. And after that, I took a break.

He was actually a really cool guy. And he was the one that basically mentored me.

So, before, this was GMKC... was it 2017? Yes, it was 2017 at the time. I planned to join GMKC, even a Monokit contest, for those that don't know. And I did a Zaku-1 Shar origin version. The one where it has the shoulder pods and not the one that the shoulder pads, that version of the Zaku-1, because there is another version where it just had the shield. And yeah.

But for now, what I have, the lips I have are a TR-2 bigwig. This is a mobile armor from Gundam, who's a Gundam advance of Zeta, the flag of Titans. This is basically a giant, pretty much a mobile armor. It has this high zag inside of it, and it's basically powering a giant gun, and it has thrusters on it. I think I'll, depending on how this goes, I'll probably send pics of what I'm talking about, but yeah.
