Welcome back! This week we sit down with Zoia Kozakov to chat about her journey from serving in the Israeli army to pursuing a career in fashion and working at NY Fashion week, and eventually landing a lead role in product development at Citi. Zoia has worked hard to get where she is today and she takes pride in giving back to the community. She’s a global marketing lead at the global non-profit, Women in Innovation, focused on closing the gender-gap.
Zoia opens up about what it was like moving to the United States after 2 years in the army and about the important role mentorship has played in her life. We learn her best time management tips and her advice on meeting friends in a new city. Zoia is a total boss and we are SO grateful to be able to share her story with you.
You can find Zoia at @zoia.kozakov and zoia.online and you can listen to her podcast Win/Win where she hosts weekly conversations with women leaders who have carved careers in the innovation space for non-profit organization Women in Innovation.
