We can talk through that. Um, also we're starting to think about, um, some guests that could be on the show. because we are top, I think 5% of all podcasts because we've just done it for so long. Um, a lot of times people reach out to me to try to be on the show.

And the reason why I try to do that 15 minute call and try to bring the most tremendous value as I possibly can is because I want these people to be able to leave equipped and that they know that they have an advocate that they can always

I got this idea through ah a book called Love Does by Bob Goff. If you've read it, you know, if you haven't, you should read it, put it on your list, get it on Amazon.

This book is awesome. and And Bob Goff is awesome. I just love his mantra. He is just so giving. And I like the way he thinks about things. I like his perspective. He's uncommon through and through.

But he's a pretty well-known person. And at the end of every book, he puts his cell phone number and says, call me if you need anything. Okay. Very different than what I'm doing.

But anyway, people call him. In fact, there was one time when I was like down and out and I was like having a bad day and I was wondering like, how does Bob Goff do it? How does he juggle all the things he's juggling?

And then also give a cell phone number out. And so I was like, I'm calling Bob because there's no way he's going to answer this phone call. Call and I get his voicemail. And I'm like, okay, and I get it. You know, you're going to, you're going to send me to the voicemail and the team's going to get it and they're going to reach out. They're going to try to sell me something or whatever I was thinking.

Anyway, so I'm laying in bed. i left a message and I was like, Hey, I just want to know how you do it all. And I just kind of unpacked what I was dealing with. And so I'm laying in bed that night. I get an email that says from Bob Goff. And I'm like, shut up. I even told Aaron, I was like, I think Bob Goff just emailed me or somebody on his team emailed me, which I was kind of impressed being honest.

And so I opened up this email. I said, hey, Philip, thanks for your voice message. We need to talk. Call me back tomorrow. And I'm like, holy cow. That doesn't seem like somebody on his team. And if it is, he's going to be super mad at him because I'm going to call him back tomorrow. And I did. I call him back tomorrow. And guess who answered?

Bob Goff. Amazing. I was like floored. And I was like, Bob. He's like, hey. I say, Hey, this is Philip Ramsey. He's like, Hey, glad you called me back. He's like, let's talk. He's like, that was a very interesting question. I love it.

And this is what's going on. And this is the impact what he does and how he does it. And I'm like one kind of like enamored. He just answered my phone call. Uh, but then I got to just kind of divulge of like, okay, what does your day look like? And he's like, well i'm driving now to the orchard and,

I heard of the vineyard. He has a vineyard. um And Sweet Marie, that's what he calls his wife, Sweet Maria. Maybe it's from mar Maria. um I never answer my phone when I'm um ah i'm at the dinner table or or anywhere around my family because I want to be present and I want to be intentional. But he just had really good advice.

And so from then on, I was like, okay, how can i be more like

I don't know. They get over their fears. They conquer their fears and they they click, Hey, let's talk to a financial advisor. I want them to have a really good experience and I want to give them some kind of value where they can take it and be like, Hey, I think I can do this by myself. Like awesome.

Even better. Um, God has blessed us in such a way that we don't necessarily need new clients. We love new clients and they come in, but we don't need them. And so that has always been kind of my, um,

attitude with people, especially family and friends. Like, how can I give you as much information as I possibly can so you feel equipped to go do this by yourself so you don't feel like I'm trying to get you as a client?

Now, what happens out of that, a lot of times they do want to become clients, and we love them when they do come in. But if not, we're okay with a free 15-minute consultation. so That's a little bit more about one, the attitude behind it. And then two, why it's so valuable when somebody actually clicks on, Hey, i want a free consultation. i love it. Those are one of my favorite calls because again, I'm trying to bring, trying to understand their situation, listen, and then give them tremendous value to move on and live their own ah uncommon life. So that's it. That's a 15 minute call, man.
