Speaker: way I don't, I don't know what he's doing. Welcome to the mildly hot source podcast podcast for all things. You guessed it. Mildly hot source.
Speaker: Um, we're not your hottest source around, but we're, we're mildly hot. Um, I'm just going to start mixing those up on each podcast. I'm going to find a way to blend them. or back here giland ah We're back here again with Danny. How are you doing, man? Doing well. How are you? Not bad sleepies.
Speaker: a Little once again starting a little bit later than general we always just get on and hang out and then this isn't that bad No, it's there was a really it was yes. This is the earliest we've ever started as's late and That's crazy. Yeah a little bit we got on four hours ago Yeah. Well, it's on Asian Pacific time, so it's hard to. So you have to rethink your computer. Yeah, I know. It was pretty redundant. So what happened? You booted up your computer and what time was it at? Eight.
Speaker: Like 23 AM. I thought you asked what time he booted his computer up to see that it was dead he's so this morning. I've charging for around 20 times. And one bar. ah The grid over there must suck too. That's crazy. A little bit of popping complex, the Greenville grid.
Speaker: Oh, I was talking about Asia Pacific time. ba Yeah, I know. Where where I'm at, it's the the the bars are low. yeah Yeah. Low signal, low battery. um How are you doing, Nick? See your Celsius? I know. Not even though I'm sponsored. No, I'm trying to get sponsored. Oh, man. They can go on my Facebook page and see the picture.
Speaker: um happened on my Myspace for you. Yeah. All of my picture. So it's just Jackie Chan. though They'll have to dive deep for that one too. jesus if If you can make it there, jeez, you might, you might get about halfway and be like, yeah, I'm gonna have to leave. Is Myspace still accessible?
Speaker: I heard that it changed. I heard that it's a thing, but it changed to something else. It doesn't have what I had on it. I'll tell you that much. Well, not a cool playlist. Oh, that cool stuff.
Speaker: ah It's definitely not as cool as it used to be. Yeah, it's probably. um No, ah they changed it to where it was like just bands. Like it was just a band page, like SoundCloud almost. But that was like 10, 15 years ago. So who knows that if that's even changed since then. I would imagine it's still not around because you know who cares? Facebook's barely holding on. That's true. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: Um, did you see just kind of, that just kind of popped in my head. Nick, you'll know about this cause you related the guy who, who was running tick tock here. Um, they keep accusing him of being from China. What are your thoughts on this? Nick, no, so the guy here running tick tock he's from, he's, he's, he looks Chinese, but he's from Singapore.
Speaker: So they're asking him in the Congress, like in the meeting with a bunch of um social media people, like Mark Zuckerberg, that they're like yelling at him they're like, are you Chinese? He's like, no, I'm Singaporean. They're like, you don't have a passport for China. Oh, I do. Yeah, I saw like shorts of that. Yeah, that's hilarious. He's like, are you so you don't have any connection to the Chinese Communist Party? He's like, nope. Also, once again, I'm from Singapore.
Speaker: And he's like, all right, so you're not from China. He's like, Nope, still from Singapore. It went on for like a couple of minutes. They would, they just kept asking him different questions. Okay. How are you working with the Chinese? He was like, I'm not Chinese. So yeah, like I will say this in the, in the way it was, the way I interpreted it was mean, yeah, you can leave them alone. Cause you could put out face value, but they're also seem to be like he was dodging some stuff.
Speaker: Like, yeah, I'm not Chinese, but you don't have to be Chinese to work with them. No, but they asked him flat out. They were like, the questions they were asking were repetitive. Are you a Chinese citizen? No. I'm only a citizen of Singapore. They're like, you're not also a citizen. Chinese like, no. Like, OK, so you don't have passports for China. Like, that's those are questions they should already know. Yeah. Yeah. Weird questions. The questions of we know you're from China. Yeah. Isn't that stuff you can do? I'm not saying that there was anything. I was just saying that, of course, it was
Speaker: It was definitely interesting to see why they were asking so many questions because, like you said, he it's his job to kind of deflect things. So in doing that, you can obviously get people riled up, you know, hiding something because. But like I said, it's definitely an interesting. I thought that was interesting. Just the fact that, you know, there's really a lot of in doubt on that, but I didn't see too much on it. So yeah, no, they flat asked. They were like, do you have any connections to China? He's like, no.
Speaker: It's like I have zero. I will say that if that is more direct than most people, I don't know, most politicians would say no. So, is he Chinese? That's what we're still debating that. We're not, nobody's quite sure. I mean, from my Chinese perspective, he doesn't look, he looks Singaporean.
Speaker: um
Speaker: I can tell. You know, we can see these things. um um But you could also I could also see why you know people could mistake him for Chinese.
Speaker: Yeah, I mean, especially if you don't know who you're talking to. Yeah, exactly. They like, how are you? How do you sit down for like, we're going to nail this guy to the wall and you don't know. You don't even know who who who is is your name. Yeah. Where are you from? What do you do? Spell it for me. Yeah. Like they were zero. per um Anyways, sorry about that. I mean, it does kind of remind me when they're talking about Titan Mark Zuckerberg.
Speaker: about how the Internet works. Oh, yeah.
Speaker: um Yeah, it was a really weird um session of Congress because they were like it was all about how they like social networks don't protect kids, which is fair. Yeah. But it was like it was just Congress. Well, that's it was a very ironic ah session. They made Mark Zuckerberg turn around and apologize because it was the room was filled with parents of kids who like were either traumatized or yeah you know on Facebook. Kids who went through a lot of crap because of Facebook or whatever. um So they were like, are you going to apologize to them right now? And he's like, all right.
Speaker: He was like, we're so i'm we're sorry. Sorry.
Speaker: sorry Your kids love Facebook. and so What should we do? We're not old enough to use X. Where's that? Mmm, sorry. Your phone comes pre -installed with Facebook? Oh no. Oh yeah. I think a lot of Android phones do come with Facebook. Are you going to go over to the other one? Oh, I have that one too. Oh jeez. I'm sorry. For that guy we rode here together. Mmm. I'll take a chocolate milk bath later. Yeah, it was weird.
Speaker: Cuz he just like he was like, yeah, I'm I'm sorry that all this happened. That's why we Continue to have best in best in industry protections against these kinds of things and it was just like Do you think that made anybody feel better? No? Tamar is to have Mark Zuckerberg be like I didn't want that to happen. Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure no way
Speaker: I didn't do it. It wasn't me. Wasn't me. Um, yeah, that was it's whenever, uh, tech, uh, social media stuff happens in Congress. It's always hilarious. Uh, like the last one where the, again, it was tick tock. It was all about how they should ban it in the country. Um, and they, I'm sure you heard about him like Howard or something to anywhere. They were repeatedly asking him if tick tock communicates with your network at home.
Speaker: I don't know, I never saw it. They were like interrogating him with how it they believe it's sending data back to China for all ti for all TikTok users, which may or and may not be true. But the questions are just so bad. It sounded like dad went in there to interview him, which.
Speaker: the people are older than that. They just don't know what it is. No, they have no idea. They're like, so can TikTok, is TikTok sending a lot of data to Chinese? Like, no. They're like, OK, how do you prove that? He's like, because it's not like we have protections against that. And so he's like, can you promise and can you give us proof that you pinky swear? Can you prove that it doesn't communicate with your home network?
Speaker: He's like, no, it does. They're like, it does. He's like, yeah, it needs wifi to work. They're like, okay, so it does talk to the network. Like it was, it's in the computer. It's in the computer. It's just, they have no idea what they're talking about. It reminds me of a movie where they destroy an Apple computer. Trying to get it, it's inside. It's in the computer. It's in the computer.
Speaker: Um, yeah, it's it's always comical because they have, they just have no clue with it. All they know is they don't like China and they're going in to be like, yeah, we're going to get this guy. He's going to start after we start yelling at him. He'll start speaking in Chinese accidentally and crying. Yeah. Winnie, the pool will come out from under the table.
Speaker: anyway Anyway, how have things been for you, Nick? How long has it been? Like three weeks since we discussed? Has there been any more detainees or seizures happening in your splits of work? No, and it's actually been pretty quiet, thank goodness. You were very sad about it. You're like, no. I mean, to get... well yeah Unfortunately not. I'm glad there's nothing happening but you know a guy likes to feel useful every so often.
Speaker: Does that mean you feel useless a lot? Huh? Well it's, I would imagine if you just walk around I don't have to do anything. Well I have to stare at cameras for a long time, walk around, I mean everybody sees my face and you know I ah build report but you know sometimes i get really sad all right sorry about that i don't know how that happened i think it's a new feature to touch the tone yeah i just uh i felt it coming i get really sad ah i i was able to uh cook so i ah no but uh i cooked
Speaker: yesterday. Yeah, yesterday. And since ah the bosses liked my cooking stuff, now I do get to have a little bit of a... I get to take about an hour or two to cook up some food because they were spending like $12 to $14 on hot dogs. And I was like, I could cook freaking hot dogs and
Speaker: pay like two or three dollars, but I mean, they don't really pay me anything. I'm confused. A wage, they just buy the stuff. Well, what's happening? We have a girl outside. so Why are you cooking at work? Why is this guy of making cake for the chef's security guard?
Speaker: yeah Put in your two weeks notice, please. um So of course I get an hour for lunch, right? So i we have a grill. I just cook out. I just cooked on the grill, but, um, you know, I was cooking and they were like, Hey, I want some food. kings of bird They liked it. mothering to Your plate. no like do Hey,
Speaker: meet low Oh man. Okay. So they took your hot dog. I think we should start over. ah yeah and they They did take my glizzy. Yes. Okay.
Speaker: but okay So what are you cooking for people? Well, no, so we're ah okay. All right. So we're on the, uh, you know, we get food trucks every day and there was one food truck in particular that we don't necessarily like. They sell that stuff for like $12 to $14, depending if you want fries. So only $12 for two hot dogs. That's ridiculous.
Speaker: Um, that was like, I just want to cook some hot dogs. We have a grill. I want to kick some hot dogs and have some, some good hot dogs. So, uh, I was talking with, uh, the front desk. So we got our HR, our head of trainers, are receptionist our, or culture. That's me. And ah there's me. And then we also have our, um, hiring representative. So all six of us were essentially like,
Speaker: Let's make some food on Monday because that's when the food truck that we don't like comes in and they're going to sell the food that we want to eat anyway. And so we all agreed, we bought individual stuff and I just cooked it because I was like, I can cook it if you guys want. Um, but yeah, interesting I ended up cooking it and then we had some extra hot dogs leftover cause the hot dogs were bigger than we were expecting. And, um, we got the, we got the, um, the girl master. Uh, well, you know,
Speaker: George Foreman? Well, we used to have George Foreman, yeah. Oh, you were the grill master. Yeah. I thought you said you found one. No, no, the that was the brand of hot dogs. That was the grill master ballpark.
Speaker: butpar um So I was just like, I don't know if you had those, but they're just really big. Um, you know what I'm saying? But, uh, yeah, so I, you I cooked those and then we had extra. The staff, like the upper management wanted some cause they, um, we're visiting in town and they're like, Hey, why don't you just kick a little bit now? Like if you want to, you could, uh, you know, cook for us more. And I was like, I mean, I don't mind taking a couple of hours out of my day because I ain't got nothing else except for to sit sit there.
Speaker: though. I mean, I get to stand outside while it's nice and sunny and like cook some hot dogs and hamburgers. I mean, shoot. That's what I was thinking about. The police dragging somebody out of the building while Nick's grilling with an apron on.
Speaker: um security guy i hear you make screen hot day you relish oh well Well, luckily we have culture as a backup. So if I'm, if I'm out, usually she like sits out and she talks with me and like watch the hot dogs anyway. So.
Speaker: that's your backup as she want two people making hot dogs at work now don pack me So what what she does is she does like, um, decorations for holidays and she plants like events and stuff. So a lot of the times she's either planning or she's not really doing much at the moment because she's yeah in the planning phase or waiting for the holiday or something of that nature. and Um, or she already has the decorations up. I, I w when I first got there, I was like, Oh, that sounds like a fun job. But then, um, I saw how little they get paid for how much they do. And it was less than you. know Yeah. Yeah. I was like, Ooh, that sucks. Yeah. She gets paid $2 less. But also, I mean, I guess really for that that kind of stuff, they usually get paid pretty well. I guess it depends on how crappy your company is.
Speaker: I don't know how crappy it is. I can't say nothing. I don't know nothing.
Speaker: o I mean, honestly, it has its perks. I really do like the place and obviously they're cheap. ever But I mean, yeah, that was an interesting development, but it's not like an everyday thing. It's mainly when that food truck comes in, there's certain people that really just don't like it. And our boss tried it and they undercooked her burger like it was raw ah twice. And she's like, no, I'm i'm good. I'm done with that. So I hope you're not paying for the hot dogs and cooking. No.
Speaker: ah Like I said, they' the company was paying for it, but they said that they ah that they're more than happy to get the stuff if I cook them some stuff. I was like, okay, bet. Give me some patties and If so, yeah, that's not a lot. You should tell them to cancel the food truck and you'll take the whatever they were paying them, which is probably thousands of dollars.
Speaker: Yeah. Well, then I'd have the obligation of feeding everybody else that, you know, like that food truck. So, so that well, I'm not, I'm not trying to be a whole chef. I'm i'm just trying to be the seven people. All right. Seven to eight people microsoft myself included, which is really that that's like one or two grill overs. All right. That's, that's not like a whole line. I'm not trying to do all that right now on top of that would take up a little Monday's hot dog day.
Speaker: I don't know what to say. What? You want to have it? Yeah, you want some? I know what I'm doing Monday. We got some glizzmasters. Yeah, we're going to his job. Yeah, I'm going to drive by, see him with the giant hat on. and up in The parking lot. I got to kiss the chef. Yeah, I'll have the suit. Tongs in my hand. Hey, how are you? How you doing, neighbor?
Speaker: um That reminds me of the, yeah I don't know why I was thinking about lunch, um the he the Wendy's 50 nugget bucket. Have you gotten it yet? ah No, I got like the 10 nugget, which is like five times less. I don't know why that was funny.
Speaker: You the longest time to get to places, don't you? um That's when you have like 10 words left on your essay. Really gotta space this one out.
Speaker: I double spaced it.
Speaker: and No, ive I didn't have a reason to get the 50 because Jazzy eats barely anything. So I would have to eat 49 of them. Yeah. ah So what's your point? Yeah, that's fair. I've debated it. But sounds like a lot of protein. It's 50, 50 saucy nugs.
Speaker: Wait, you're talking about KFC or you're talking about Wendy's sauce? huh Let me see what the sauces are. It's honey barbecue, spicy honey barbecue, garlic parm, the spicy garlic parm. I wonder how spicy a place like Wendy's can go. ah okay So spicy garlic parm, buffalo, spicy buffalo, and then goes pepper.
Speaker: Um, the ghost pepper gets a little hot, not awful, but pretty, pretty hot. I'm not going to lie though. I will say, I like how Wendy said, uh, no one else can do spicy nugs or whatever like that. And then KFC immediately was just like saucy nugs before them.
Speaker: Oh, possibly. Oh, well then, yeah. Well then, that's even for... I don't really eat KFC that often, but I recently have seen the ads pop up. Mm -hmm. Which one did you try, Dylan? I think all of them.
Speaker: What I actually ended up doing is the day they came out. um I got like one of each, like a four piece of each. I mean, Jazzy just split them. Oh, I thought you meant you got 10 nuggets and you got 10 sauces. 10 loogies in there.
Speaker: They're waiting in the line like, all right, come on. I need nine of you. Let's make it real saucy for the boy. No, they and they made them. They made me. It took a long time, but I think the girls in the bathroom because they were in there for a while with them.
Speaker: You should have asked for ten tin nuggets, all different sauces in all different boxes. Separate. I need those two separate boxes. Sauce on the side.
Speaker: Why do the nuggets have to be separated? Because I just don't want them to touch. Because I don't want them sauce. What's it to you? Yeah, I'm not going to use the sauce. Because your sauce is gross. I swear ten nuggets. Have you been to Wendy's?
Speaker: um No, I tried them all. They were all pretty good. um yeah I think the garlic farm was pretty yummy. The buffalo was pretty delicious. The honey barbecue is what you would expect. It's hard to have like a good or bad barbecue. I think they all kind of taste the same. The barbecue sauce is just so strong to me. um But I mean, they were good. And then I had a couple of the ghost pepper and they're good. They have several ghost pepper things. I think they've had ghost pepper nuggets before.
Speaker: but they weren't soft. They were just seasoned ghost pepper. Yeah. Um, are they spicy, spicy? They're, I mean, probably not to you. No, they're, um, they're hotter than like spicy Chick -fil -A, but not much. Oh yeah. I mean, because the spicy Chick -fil -A sandwich is not spicy. It's fantastic, but it's not very spicy. It depends on him on the day, kind of. Yeah, some basic true. I've gotten, I've gotten,
Speaker: decent spice most of the time it's just got a good kick to it. A little bit, yeah. um That's really good. it's They're pretty yummy. So the 50 party pack is $22, which isn't bad. It's the anti -party pack. Here's 50 nuggets and a blanket. I hope you're alone tonight. And toilet paper.
Speaker: I was about to say it's a toilet party and toilet party pack and toilet paper. Yeah. I mean a 20 pieces, $11. So a 50 pieces, 12. No, I said a 20 pieces, $11 and a 50 pieces, 22. Oh, I thought it was $12. No, 22 for 50 nuggets. That's pretty good. 50 cents a nugget. Yeah. I mean, it's pretty good. It's not so bad.
Speaker: Yes, prefer sauce nugs and nowadays. Well, I mean a 10 piece nugget at McDonald's with fries and a drink is $10 now. Yeah. Yeah. steing Yeah. You're right. I mean, you don't even have to eat in one sitting and just have like some for lunch later. 10 nuggets, 15 nuggets. if you If you're trying to, if you're going to spend that much, you know, you can have two meals out of it.
Speaker: I mean, maybe get some rice and you can make three or four. How to turn some bacon, bacon chives, food with chicken nuggets. You got some saucy, you got some saucy tangy chicken. What are you thinking? Turn on the shell of chicken, right? All right. Put some, put some, it wasn't.
Speaker: but but butize You got you got your yourself some good meal. No. ah They also have a triple berry frosty, which I don't have any. try You know, I've seen the commercial goes. I thought about it. You know what it goes good with? Rice. No way.
Speaker: Um, no yeah, it's a, I don't, I don't think I would like that frosty. It's probably, it probably tastes like coffee medicine. That's how I advantage in it. and but what I feel like it would taste like yogurt, like that berry yogurt. sounds they pretty good and Not a frosty though. Triple barrier, triple berry, frosty, frosty. It's very artificial in my head.
Speaker: Well, frosty is artificial. That's what I'm saying. To put triple berry in a frosty, I feel like it would taste like medicine in a slushie. I was going to say, it tastes like a blackberry cough drop, frozen. A little bit, yeah. Which, you know, some people like. Yeah, might be good. I don't think I'm really into.
Speaker: um I'm thinking of like a yo yogurt, like a berry yogurt. I'd be willing to try, but yeah, same artificial flavor. I know what you mean. Yeah. I'm not going to try it though. No. Or I'm not going to buy it. i ah It would be appetizing to me as far as like an experience. It's not like when I know, cause I don't even eat the, the chocolate one. I love the chocolate one, but I wouldn't, you know, have that one every day. It'd be like, Oh, that would,
Speaker: Now I know this sucks or it doesn't. What's your stance on Verizon Frosty? No. I will already already submitted my like answer earlier. You did?
Speaker: Yeah, when when he was making his joke, I said fries at the same time, so he didn't hear it. Oh, I must have just heard the joke. Yeah, douche. Oh, he wants to go. ah So, yes, fries? No. Are you frosty? I mean, it's pretty good. ah With fries? If I had my way, it would be, yes. but um It would be with the McFlurry, to be fair. If I had to choose McFlurry and some fries, pretty balling.
Speaker: All right. I never got into the frozen. I mean, it's, it's fine, but people act like it's but salty and sweet. I mean, so it's not, it's not, I'm not going over there just to get it, but I mean, in my earlier years, I was definitely like, yeah, let me get that. Cause that was, I mean,
Speaker: Yeah. you you You like a frost. So you like the fries, you you you dip it in your, she does that with all milkshakes. She dips everything or she does her fries in any milkshake she has. Yeah. It's like, now I will say this. I tried, I tried it with the Arby's fries. Definitely not a, not a good season. That was a mistake. Yeah. It was just not a go. man Yeah. Yeah. It wouldn't be that with season fries. Yeah. That's rough.
Speaker: um well you know i Arby's Fries is my favorite fries. I don't know what it is about them. I love the texture, I love the taste. They're curly? Are they curly? I mean, yeah, they're curly. I love curly fries. hey yo if If a better place made curly fries, I would definitely eat those all the time. But it's like it's almost like you're eating a fry and an onion ring at the same time. I love it. I don't know what it is. ah just well You should start making it at work. Maybe.
Speaker: No, Nick, not me. No, the grill master. That's what I thought you meant. Uh, no, it's, I mean, it's fine. I like fries and I like frosty, but putting them together, it just tastes like fries and a frosty. I don't, it's not, it doesn't change everything at times. It's like you're just saving time. Well, yeah, which i don't want to I want to prolong it. Well, it has the same aesthetic as like eating chocolate with, um, like salted dough nuts or whatever in it.
Speaker: you I mean, I, see I see what you mean. And I see the idea, but it doesn't translate for me when I'm actually eating it. I don't get it. I just, I mostly taste just frosty. I don't, I barely even get any fry. Mostly tastes just nuts. So and dude, last time I tried to McFlurry, I was super disappointed. Really?
Speaker: Yeah. Cause I used to love McFlurry is like hardcore, um, M and M McFlurry. I would always get. Yep. That's the one. Now you're glorious. It was a couple of years ago. I was like, I'm just going to be like super nostalgic and get it in McFlurry for funsies. And I got it. And I took, I think two bites because I wanted to try it again and I threw it out. It was disgusting.
Speaker: Like it was the same way with candy. How do you mess up a McFlurry? It didn't taste like ice cream. It's not. It's a McFlurry. Well, I know it's not, but it's supposed to taste like ice cream. It didn't taste like anything, which is weird because I rarely dislike anything sugary. Yeah. yeah um And it was it was not good at all. It tasted like chemical almost. It's all about the cookout now. Yeah.
Speaker: ah Which i could guess delicious but no it was gross so it i haven't tried it since then. So in all fairness it could have just been a bad mcclary yeah like screwed up itve been a bad batch of chemicals yeah well i know what you mean there cuz like there are certain foods i mean you know of course it happens with age but like i.
Speaker: like foods that I used to hate. Like I like broccoli now. Oh yeah. I used to hate it, but now I can't stand like certain drinks. Like I can't, I used to love Fanta and stuff like that. I can't do Fanta anymore. I can't do the blueberry. I can't do, uh, Faygo too sweet or anything. Yeah. I just can't do those things. and Like those things you anymore, even though I love those. Uh, no, uh, Fanta is gross. It tastes super hard. It tastes very, very artificial. You mean the flavor has changed or you now recognize that it's disgusting. ah fan just in general Yeah. I don't know that I ever liked it, but I think as I get older, yeah I don't think I ever liked it. I recognize the orange. I never liked any of the other flavors, but you guys like Baja blast. It tastes the same. So that's the thing is I don't even do you want to go out and do anything like that that much anymore. I don't dearly do that.
Speaker: ah Well, I honestly don't really do sodas that much Like god this is the most I do don't want translate unhealthy hour This is what 10 calories think The calories thick of six calories no hold on yeah maybe it's a feral to height not to calories This is the last time we ever saw a knee
Speaker: He had three Celsiuses that day. And a two and a half hour energy. Actually, this is my only one today. And a hot dog. He has a hot dog in it. No, not today.
Speaker: Today ah was two cheese, i got fried That's what it's fried ravioli mean. It's delicious. It's delicious from the food truck. Okay. It's like today's food truck. Yeah. Now they have pizza, which their pizza is actually pretty decent. Um,
Speaker: And then they also have subs and they do canolis and fried ravioli. That fried ravioli is their ticket and I'm telling you. That guy came in today. I had made a funny pizza or not a funny one, a fun pizza last week. I put together some stuff and I gave him a slice cause he was at my job.
Speaker: And he came in today. He was like, Oh, no more fun pizza. He was like, Oh man, that pizza was so good. I was like, it's pizza. It's a just a big cheese circle. You can can't really screw that up. Same thing. and It's hard to screw up pizza, man. You burn it with the food truck. yeah i mean then You could peel the cheese off. It was fantastic. yeah True.
Speaker: But, but think about it. There's, there's the, the regular Papa, you know, the, I don't even give the regular names. There's the regular three. And then there's like specialty places that I know you guys, cause I've been to those these guys since so with you guys. Um, and that pizza is a different story. That thing is of like a work of art. So there's there's definitely ah a different, if I'm going to a place that's not those three, I expect that kind of pizza. If it's not that kind of pizza, I think you mess it up. Yeah. Like CC's is kind of my bar of good pizza. I do like some chocolate pizza. No, that's a nostalgic moment. We need some crazy bread. Yeah. It was just some of my, a as it hey, do you, you don't, hey,
Speaker: I had to eat what I ate, all right? Yeah. Did you just push him theoretically?
Speaker: Get out of here. Don't stop this, all right? Can't stop me now. No silly goose. Fanta's gross. A whole wraparound. Orange soda to me, I think, is just rough.
Speaker: Yeah, I used to love it, but I don't know what it is. I just don't like it anymore. Yeah, artificial orange. I specifically do like orange juice. Yeah. love orange feet Orange juice is hard not to chug the whole glass though. i Is that a thing? I don't know what it is. Orange juice is just so chuggable. Yeah. Like eliminated is like my chuggable. I haven't had orange juice. Yeah.
Speaker: If I haven't had orange juice in the fridge for a long time, but if I did, I would drink it at 3 a .m. yeah and drink with without wholerantine yeah I drink I drink the whole container. Pull an egg. It's weird, because I also like i don't get orange juice very often, but sometimes I get a massive craving for an orange juice. I'm like, all right, give me that. I get the bottle and it's gone in the day. But it lasts like two seconds, or if you're like out.
Speaker: I like at the airport or somewhere where you're just trying to grab a little individual bottle sometimes it's like an orange juice and like you finish it before you leave the store you know it's just stupid.
Speaker: sandy but like i need that vitamin d but i never know vitamin c scholar to and go by the i so you know other sunny delight I think that was like in my subconscious as I said, get up but we know. Oh, it's the news I it.
Speaker: Yeah, I used to... but I went through a phase of getting obviously orange juice I go through every now and again, but I also love the orange juice and pineapple, orange pineapple juice. Oh, yeah. It's delicious. The two great juices mixed together. I get that one even rarer, but to be fairly honest, I get that one if I'm looking to mix it up with something. Yeah, I do a medium, ah but it's still pretty good. Yeah.
Speaker: What was I? Oh, so the Mountain Dew. Are you good? Still thinking about the D. Oh, man.
Speaker: yeah but yeah
Speaker: That was priceless.
Speaker: Good to be alright. I'm sorry. Not a vein on the top of his forehead. I'm gonna make a reminder. That's funny.
Speaker: um But Mountain Dew doesn't... ah You can't throw Mountain Dew in that arena. You can. it's like It's not even a flavor. Mountain Dew's a color. Exactly. It's yellow. It's not trying to mimic anything.
Speaker: and I try and it's it you notice it almost tastes like emergency a little bit a little yeah, but it's good for you Yeah It tastes like that kind of artificial they added orange to it. Yeah but now he says a flavor Tastes like sugar. Yeah, it ah just and it does and that most famousmin about the soda is really the 7 -up commercials
Speaker: The up commercials. Yeah, those things, like, I mean, they were pretty entertaining. maybe Well, I think all the soda commercials were, all the soda commercials were really good, but what about the seven up commercials? Oh, I actually saw, ah well, I mean, they, they were just popping. I don't remember. And the way that he, uh, it was like pretty epic with the ah seven up. I don't know. Like they,
Speaker: It was a lot of flashing with yellow and green. And I love, I just love the way that they did their commercials. the pretty They were just entertaining and they, they just, um, they just sprayed a few times. But I will say this, if, if I had to pick my favorite kind of commercial, it would be the, uh, the coat commercial that, uh, they played where they, uh, were defeating all the, um, Pepsi.
Speaker: Coke cans and then they remember. Oh, yeah. You got to look it up. But it's a commercial. and It was ah it was a good one. There's also one where I forgot who it was, but somebody was a Nazi.
Speaker: Here it is. It was an interesting play on the Cloudbacks, but I will say Coke has some very, very strong commercial -looking sub -ski.
Speaker: But I would say they they had some really good ones. If I had to give give ah my hats off to a coat ah like a company, it would give it to them. What? He's going down his list of sayings. Which comes to shove. We're sorry. At the end of the day. Yeah. and Long story short.
Speaker: yeah It looks like you had AI do it, and they did it wrong. Oh, man. I'd have to give my hats off to that. Well, I'm just saying. I know. I heard you. Yeah, I know. I heard you hear me, apparently. I heard you thinking that you heard me.
Speaker: um That's Celsius. That's another hour of energy right there. Yeah. Cling, cling, cling. About how Glass is a work of art. I don't know. I don't know what flavor it is. And then that's the hell you die on. We don't ask those questions. It's fake happiness. Yeah. That is not a real flavor. Yeah, no. I mean, you just named it, so it is. What flavor is it? Blue Mountain Dew. Ball. Mystic Mountain Blueberry.
Speaker: He had different sugar flavored Mountain Dew. I don't know. Right on. what flavor is big red. You mean code red, the Mountain Dew, the red one? No, the big red I'm talking about. you so He wanted to change it too. Yeah, it's big red. It's not just cinnamon, it's bad cinnamon. Yeah, it is. Cinnamon. Cinnamon. No, yeah, I'll die on that hill.
Speaker: ah dude you shouldve seen Because we just went to the beach obviously It was me Harrison and Matt we all love Mountain Dew because we're all white and we play video games um Hey Nick likes rice I like Mountain Dew
Speaker: that's up I mean, I'm not going to complain about the my heart to that one of that. You know, and and realization. Yeah. we So we were talking about how we were going to get Mount Dew and it would bring us through the osmosis. And then move box then we each of us took our hats off to it.
Speaker: ah No, so we got there and there was no Mountain Dew and I was upset for obvious reasons. I was like, what are we doing here? Yeah, it's a whole wizard song. Yeah. I was like, we're going to be here for a week. What are we doing here, guys? Somebody had to bring it. I brought a kid, which they did too, but still. I just expected one of them to, especially Matt. Matt was like hardcore addicted to Mountain Dew.
Speaker: um So I just, I just expect there to be at least some until we went to the store. There wasn't any, which was, you know, not that big of a deal, but I was surprised. So the first time we were there, I was like, so what are we doing from Mountain Dew? Like, yeah, I know. It's a problem. ising all All of you guys just coming in like, dang, they didn't bring the Mountain Dew. Yeah, we're giving each other the finger as we walked in.
Speaker: Um, so who would it and we, so we all put pulled out like our, uh, I had like a, like a map and I was kind of pushing people around on the map of our plan for how we were going to get some out and do, and determined that the heist ah first order of action was, uh, Jazzy was going to go to the store.
Speaker: Turns out you have to go to the store. d Yeah, it turns out I'm thirsty. um Yeah, so we decided we were going to take turns buying it. Just because when you just make one trip and get Mountain Dew. Not enough. I mean, we also were trying to have The choices were either, if we wanted to do it that way, was all of us go to the store and each of us buys Mountain Dew, which we weren't trying to do. It was kind of like, who wants to go to the store? Cash app exists. Or one person goes and buys eight, 12 packs. You just get cash after stuff. There's only three of you. Yeah, there's three of us. How many of you think you were there for a week? Yeah. So I did the math. If you drank two every day, that's 10.
Speaker: That's that were you there for seven days? Yeah. Okay. Well, you could have bought 12 and done 12 and that's a lot. It would have been at least if we did two a day, it would have been a 12 pack per person. Yeah. I wasn't going to fly. so I was severely underestimating our needs here.
Speaker: um So we called in, they had like a consultant at the grocery store and we talked to them for a while and kind of laid out in her church. I'm going to lay out a special order. I need a map of the store. I need five kilos. Where do you guys keep your needles? I need an injection site. um He's going over there with the the product.
Speaker: yeah that's about right so You guys have powdered man dude in the little packs like crystal light um No, so yeah, we decided we were gonna take turns buying it but I did the math I was like if each of us has three to four a day three to four day I was like that last is like two days per word per 12 pack You have to go to the store four times for Mountain View. That's disgusting. No, I think we only went three, but I think the last time we bought like two, 12 packs. Yeah, it's too much. out It's too much. That's too much. something somebody's conversation she
Speaker: that not his It's not ah is' not beer. It's a wine tasting.
Speaker: its just interesting It's classy. Oh, what is it? It's a, it's called a French something. Yeah. It's mortgage fine. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: but
Speaker: the whistle
Speaker: and yeah So we, uh, we took turns, but I mean, again, Matt was having probably four to five a day. Harrison was probably having Two to three, he's he's not a big, not a huge soda drinker, but he loves Mountain Dew. I was probably having two to three a day. And the only reason I was having that little was because it was so hot.
Speaker: that I didn't want to bring it outside. So I spent the majority of the time outside. and Yeah. So the idea was I was going to bring a couple to the beach and you know also have some for the house, but we would be going to the beach and I'm like, it's going to be warm in five minutes. Yeah. You have to, tune as i to do it's a waste of a Mountain Dew. As soon as I open it, I have to check it or else it's going to get warm.
Speaker: ah Like we have a cooler, but as soon as you open it, you can't put it back on the cooler and it takes less than five minutes to get hot. um So I just was taking water in that. So I only had two or three. wow I was about to say, I mean, I am curious. How much water did you drink? um About three Mountain Dew's a day. I did find a calculator, probably much water that is. No, I had a. How much was in there? So you know, like the ah the five hour energy bottles. Yeah.
Speaker: A couple of those. Water. I reuse them. It was like the ah the water boy ah glacier. I was a little. Yeah. Glacier water. Yeah. What? Next question. H2O. It was kind of a two parter. What color is your pee? We don't talk about that. Neon green. That's between me and my doctor.
Speaker: and It smells like cheese fries. It was one time where I gave a sample and I felt bad. What? I apologize to what I handed in. I'm sorry for the smell.
Speaker: I'm sorry for the smell. I mixed up what kind of sample this was.
Speaker: Oops. Your initial sound might be, oh, he needs a lot of greens, but that's not the case. Just as better against bits. flow Really had to sell it. What is this pulp?
Speaker: this is a fish
Speaker: Now you see on me next conversations. get Somebody who say pulp pee. That's disgusting. This is pulp. Ew. That's gross. No. It performs in pulp friction. No, there was a time I handed in my sample and I was like, there you go.
Speaker: Sorry about that. sir you all right makes me think of the reactions shoot mcgavin had he' like they yeah i got yeah She's like we're gonna have to admit you like I know need to get you to get you a banana bag. Yeah um Yeah, it's happened. Spent you on an IV pretty quickly. I'll assure you, you drank it upbound, dude. It turns clear. There's there's trace amounts of water in it. Yeah.
Speaker: It's a light enough color that eventually it'll tell it itself. I mean, it's probably 99 % Mountain Dew, but it looks close enough to regular peas. They couldn't really tell the difference. It does. It's crystal blue. I used to drink a lot of soda. I can drink a two liter every day for a while. Yeah. When I was a kid, me and Mountain Dew were inseparable in Sprite. I mean, I moved from Mountain Dew to Sprite, and then after that,
Speaker: i I feel lucky because I just don't drink soda anymore. Yeah. Why do I feel like I remember a story of somebody? I don't I don't know why it's popped my head. I have zero context around it. Somebody chugs like a two liters. It was a party. I took a two liter root beer to the face and had like a panic attack. That was amazing. That was so painful.
Speaker: I was a can of soda. ah i mean I've seen the shorts where they did it with a like a 20 to four liter or 24 ounce or whatever. yeah like Like a little plastic bottle and they're having a bad time. Yeah.
Speaker: that I don't know how I just remembered that. I just popped up. but He laid down to go to bed immediately. And then we walked back. Oh, that's a bad idea. that's when we That's when we started calling him Donkey from Shrek. We walked into the room and he was laying down and he popped up like a deer in headlights. And he was like, I'm not okay. Oh, so messed up. He was asking Kimberly to take his temperature.
Speaker: I thought he was dying. It was the best. Yeah. I was picturing it out of sleepover and that's all I know. It was. It was at our house. I didn't know who was from a movie or something. then Um, I remember that and, uh, somebody ran into a tree. Yeah. I think. Yeah. it's Anthony. Yeah. that makes sense Actually, uh, reminds me of, uh,
Speaker: time that I did Edward Forty hands. Huh? Smooth. Yeah. What is that? Great idea. Oh, okay. I figured it out. Yeah. Yeah. I did it for breakfast, essentially, with Airtwell Dylan, you know, Aaron. Yeah. It was back when he was doing drinking. Sounds like drinking. Yeah. Back when he had a 40 every hour, so.
Speaker: oh Yeah, na I'm glad he's he's sober now, but know yeah was jack in the hising we did edward forty hands for everhead so yeah, we anyway ah Nonetheless, we were drinking that and I don't, well, you guys know, I don't drink beer. I don't handle beer very well, carbonation in me and just whatever. Yeah. that That's honestly probably what helped me with with soda. To be fairly honest, is I had enough bad experiences, but yeah, I was feeling awful after drinking that. Are you drinking Celsius? Well, yeah, but I'm not chugging it. Why are you chugging other stuff?
Speaker: This was back in the heyday. I was like, what, 22? Jeez. All right. But, uh, jeez. But, uh, yeah, so I was feeling pretty, pretty awful. Can't still duct tape with the 40, 40s of my hand. And I'm like, oh, man. Oh, jeez.
Speaker: yeah I don't know what what to do. So, like like all things carbonation, it was coming up hard. I was like, uh -oh, I gotta go. Try to go out the the basement door. I wasn't following with the doorknob. And you've seen ah oh what's it called?
Speaker: and Scary movie with the poltergeist would where she just throws up all the guy. Yeah straight up I've never project alone in my life, but man that door got it like was like oh still followinging with the door to yeah After that needless to say it never did Edward 40 hands again No and time problem And also a lesson learned never go in it with the empty stomach and don't just a whole bunch of carbonation with that just doesn't seem like a great idea. I don't know how Shane Gillis does it. I'm sure it also wasn't high quality airflow. No, probably 40 of like Bush lights or something. Yeah. I don't know how people do it. Like people like can drink this. I don't know. Let's get Jimmy on the line. Fair point.
Speaker: He's doing it right now. We're going to phone a friend. He can't answer. His hands are full.
Speaker: Probably. he He already has an advantage by being born in Florida. He wasn't. That's true. That's a man with an iron liver. Yeah, he wasn't born of florida in Florida. the Same thing. Oh well. Okay. He has an honorary token. He is the honorary token.
Speaker: So we tried to watch lost and yeah we couldn't do it. We made it like seven, eight episodes in and I just can't watch it anymore. It's one of those shows that you might've wanted to watch when it was at the hype, when everybody else was watching it. Cause I mean, there wasn't anything better to watch at that point.
Speaker: Yeah, but yeah, if you watch it now, I'm in the graphics, uh, cause I, yeah, cause I rewatched it and I couldn't, I was like, I want to finish it. Cause I stopped this season. I couldn't get past season one. I was like, no, two, you know, it was just corny. i when when it came out I was addicted. It was rough. You have to go into it with very.
Speaker: open mind of like, this isn't gonna be like up to today's production standards and script writing. It's like supposedly an amazing show. I've seen a little bit because mom was obsessed with it, but it's supposedly a very good show. But It's very yeah it is very corny and yeah. At the time there were just wasn't many things better to watch. Yeah. so That part I understand. if If you wanted to watch like a thriller. Yeah.
Speaker: ah it just It supposedly has like some of the best story writing of all time. he It was not good. I think you have to get a little bit further in. I mean, we watched almost the first whole first season. I don't know. Oh, man. It does. so The story lines were awful. It takes time to develop and stuff, but yeah, the second season, I would say Once you get to episode four or something like that, then the story kind of takes off into like, uh, uh, it goes real hard with the, I want to know what happens next type type stuff. Like yeah now I have to watch and see what happens, even though, yeah and this is actually what started to happen on season three is I was like annoyed because I was like, now I have to watch the next one. Okay. Yeah. not Not enough answer questions were answered. Yeah. That's.
Speaker: I don't know. It kind of goes in the same area as prison break for me. Yeah, I've never watched that one either. It's very similar. It's supposedly a very great story. It's not as good as lost as what I hear, but supposedly very, very good show, but very stupid. Like, yeah, if you don't go into an open series is I just, it's, I guess it's just, I can't get into them. Like I've, yeah, prison break was kind of the line for me cause mom used to like it and I would watch a little bit of it and like, it seems like,
Speaker: a parody of a show. Right. that's her joke seems like It seems like a joke. like to where is go that's why i can't I agree with you. Like, again, I don't even necessarily I shouldn't necessarily like lost to be fairly honest, because these type of those type of shows have always just been amazing.
Speaker: Oh, yeah. Like, it gets like even like The Walking Dead. Like, I absolutely love The Walking Dead, but I can fully admit The Walking Dead is corny as crap, you know? Yeah. So, it's like - I never know why I couldn't watch that either. That or like American Horror Story. Couldn't watch those either.
Speaker: Yeah. Like I tried to get into American horror stories so many times and there are certain ones where I was like, this is tolerable, but yeah, it's more like, man, that wouldn't happen. Like this is, come on. Yeah. There has to be a point. and Like it I know with the camera, it looks like, you know, Oh, scary. But in reality, he was standing right where you could see him. He's right. Come on. Um, like no prison break is great. My favorite is.
Speaker: My favorite thing to so to hone in on is the whispering. The main guy whispers just everything. So like he'll walk up to somebody right to the right. So I talk to the warden.
Speaker: um he hit That's his dramatic talking. Yeah. Like now I'd make it like 30 minutes into the first episode and be like this guy whispers again. We're turning it off.
Speaker: can't have it I hate that. Yeah. It's it's it is very funny. That's why all the parodies are great of it, but it is kind of a parody in itself. Yeah, it's just overboard with the cheese a little bit, but it's funny. ah So you have to have a very open mind into being like this is.
Speaker: funny and the good show. I'm really good at that. If it's clever. Will Ferrell. No, not Will Ferrell, but his movies, they're clever. stiller There are a lot of movies that are. Ben Steller. Ben Steller. But that's why they're so famous because they made things that were awful, but they, you have to watch them because they're so clever and funny. um They do it by accident and not good.
Speaker: they do and they're trying to be dead ass. That's why I love comedies is because I feel like most things that I've, I mean, it's hard to write something to where I'm not laughing at it anyway. Cause it's ridiculous. Like a lot of things, but, but, uh, like I will say there are certain directors that are very good at it. And so I'll watch theirs and you know, I'll take it as is, but I just love comedies cause they're at least intended to be funny.
Speaker: So if you're gonna make me laugh, at least I know you're trying to make me laugh and that you're aware that your stuff is hilarious as opposed to you trying to be like, yeah, I'm cool and awesome. This is what cool people are supposed to be like. Exactly. And that's kind of where it gets funny is because they're trying so hard to be dramatic. To be dramatic, that's funny. Yeah. Where is she? She's right there. That's what it sounds like. Where have you been? She's in the car.
Speaker: Yeah, it's horrible. It's all bad man. That's why I love CUNFURY. That's one of my favorite movie scenes.
Speaker: Alrighty then. Triceracops.
Speaker: Dude, okay. and This is completely unrelated and you won't find it interesting at all. ah Lucas is to a new show. ah It's called Bad Dinosaurs. It's just animated dinosaurs. It's kind of like we compare it to minions, but dinosaurs. um And the episode is called Triceratops. Really unrelated and didn't make any difference, but ah you said that and made me think of it. Anyway. You freaking dad you? I know. That's pretty the name. You gosh darned father.
Speaker: All right, so I need to go buy some Mountain Dew. You made me thirsty. Okay. Well, see, the the funny thing is, is that you don't have Mountain Dew already. I do. But I'm on board.
Speaker: That's my reserve pack. I have to go buy more. ah But yeah, so it's been an interesting week. We're finally home and suddenly back in from the beach. illegal went back to school yesterday and we were expecting him to have a real wrote real problem.
Speaker: Just because, you know, you're out of your routine for so long, it's ah hard to go back to school when you haven't got to school in almost two weeks. Yeah. And like a fourth of your life. Well, that too. How do you do? He did fine. That's surprising. it that like The break was actually good for him.
Speaker: Yeah. Like he kind of reset and was happy to go do stuff. Like charge them batteries. Yeah. is Yeah. It's like brand new again. Yeah. Yeah. Kind of. He got to see like, I was excited to see his friends and do stuff. And yeah. And he's been hanging out more with Milo, which is nice. Um, cause he can, cause he's in his maintenance phase. He can kind of be out a little bit more. Um, so he's seen him a couple of times this week.
Speaker: um Yeah, it's been but nice, been busy, you know what I'm saying? I just did my fantasy draft a few nights ago. um I gotta send that crap to you. It came out pretty well. Yeah. What number pick did you have? Seven of 14, so I was dead center. Yeah. Jimmy got 14.
Speaker: As it should be. ah Jimmy was given 14. Yeah, there was only three, 13 things in the race that we just gave him 14. His duck got stuck or his elf or whatever it was. No, it went pretty well. I did another draft with a. I did a draft this afternoon with like eight people and it went way worse.
Speaker: I don't like a like a different league. Yeah, right it I don't know if the people in that other league are just bad or if I did a lot of worse this time or i don't know but um Yeah, so it's fantasy draft time this week, which is funny I don't think you've heard of this Matt was explaining it to me and I Kind of started exploring it today, which I think I'm gonna do it. There's a thing called a best ball It's where you do a draft and kind of like how in golf I best ball is you use whoever's shot was best. yeah You're all playing on the team. base How do you do that? It's, it's not a team thing, but you'll understand what I explained it a little bit is you do the draft and you get like, it's a little bit more of an expanded team. So you get like a couple of quarterbacks, like three wide receivers, a little bit of a bigger team. And then you're done for the season. You don't, you're not, you can't touch your team the whole year. I'm enjoying this so far. Yeah, I was going to say this sounds right up to in your alley.
Speaker: Um, you like, those are your guys all year. It doesn't matter what happens. Uh, and whoever scores the most in that position, uh, put in the starting lineup. I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Um, yeah. So if you have, you know, six wide receivers and you start three of them, that just means you, it's just whoever drafted the best. So you still put in a lineup every week. No, it does it automatically.
Speaker: Like I said, I can't say for certain whether it sets your lineup automatically and you get those player scores or what in my head the way it works is. Is the best, the highest score any quarterback made you take his points. Yeah. And then the best the running backs did, you know, the best out of the running backs, you take that person's score. thing That's kind of sweet. Yeah, which is kind of cool. So I'm going to, I'm going to do a couple of ends. You can do like 40 of those. You just have to do a draft.
Speaker: Yeah, you just pick your players. Yeah, so I'm probably going to do a couple of those. Yeah, that's kind of cool. So you're welcome to join if you want, but I'm probably not busy. Yeah, I'm not doing it either. Uh, next in the ping pong league, they invented ping pong. I wish I played fantasy football or any things sports related. I wish I did anything.
Speaker: Who's that slow music right then? I wish I was able to play any kind of sport.
Speaker: My dad had had the conversation with me when I was four. You know, I gave him one sport to play. Ping pong. Nunchuck. Kendo's three. um um But yeah, it's a it's been good. What's the rest of your guys week look like? It's only Tuesday.
Speaker: eating How was your week? Huh? You want to go? Are you trying to fight? I think we only have an hour and an hour. Danny left. I'm muting him.
Speaker: No, I didn't say how was your week. I said what's the rest of your week look like? Are you oh good?
Speaker: that's going naked Nothing special going on this actually between now and next podcast. Hopefully nothing for Nick. Just grilling hot dogs and Shango. Well, there you go. I got my homie back, so I'll probably be playing some X -Box with him. Yeah, I didn't really ah and play anything. was I played a little NCA while I was there. That was it.
Speaker: um Oh, they play a little bit. No, just kidding. So it's kind of funny, but that's just how I roll. All right. So we would put the kids to bed and um it would be like eight, eight 30s in a bowl. I would yeah everybody put your phone in the bowl. Now I would go upstairs and ah have like a snack.
Speaker: Or a bourbon and everybody would be hanging out playing cards watching a movie and i would say good night to everybody and go downstairs and play video games in the second living room oh my god it's like a dream come true.
Speaker: yeah um It's one that's so loud that um that's not relaxing for me. Yeah. I was being serious. Yeah, I know. i can I can do it when it's the kids and I can focus on him and I'm not trying to relax really. I'm just chilling um and I'm playing. But when everybody goes to bed, I'm like, my options are I hang out and join in, which is a little bit stressful for me. I don't want to. Yeah, I don't want to. They're probably watching some island show. I'm drunk.
Speaker: um yeah Wasted. I've had two fifths of vodka at this point and seven mountain juice. No, like everybody, they were playing a like Mexican train. What? What? You never played that. It's a Mexican trains, a ah domino game. Oh, it is a really weird name. I think I'm joking, not because I've heard about it. I played it before um when I first heard about it, I was like, that's
Speaker: Until if you're messing with me, where are you? A bunch of Puerto Ricans playing Mexican train. Something's gone wrong. That's close enough. um Are you good, Nick? He's having a stroke. I was just letting him go. back and man nico' lost pride i've tried to i try to cool that a little bit getting the wind and go it absolutely
Speaker: trying to get some and some wind energy um anyway and They were playing like dominoes and like phase 10 and ah Matt's mom taught them how to play Canasta because they're old. Oh, this is a real barn burner guy going on over there. It was fun. It was fun to watch them. Who brought the cocaine?
Speaker: Yeah, they're all high. and Yeah. ah No, they were they were having fun and it was funny to watch them because they're all insane. I'm sure yeah nobody knows how to play anything. It's probably hilarious. Yeah. So they're just yelling at each other. And it's like Matt's mom takes it. There's a couple of people who take it very seriously. And it's always the white people. Yeah. And other people don't know how to play. And ah a couple mainly there's one person who's kind of like mom, who is a little bit ah not there.
Speaker: Yeah. You can't buzz me like that. Same for everybody. Um, no, they were just like, they were in their own world playing. So it's like, they had a different perspective. and you're just Play your game. We'll play this game over here. No, they were taking it serious. And like this pretty, like that person is so mad that I displayed that card and he was like, huh? It was just, it was entertaining to watch, but I had my fill after a while. I was like, all right, I'm good to just go and hang up on my side. I go blindly walk into the ocean. See you guys later. I'm gonna go lay on the beach. um I'm gonna ponder my life. I mean, that was also an option, but there was the mosquito game was insane. Yeah. Just fair enough. If you walked outside to like, take out the garbage, you were bitten at least three times. in the Oh, that sucks. It was bad.
Speaker: um so Yeah that was rough but anyways so i would just take my bourbon and i had no clusters um and satin played football on my xbox for like two hours when i went to bed. That's nice so that's relaxing yeah no that was that was super chill and i just.
Speaker: I kept all the lights off mainly because it was in between all of the kids rooms. It was like a second living room. I kept the lights off so the light didn't go into the door, but also it was just like super chill. So I just kind of hung out and just relaxed. It was kind of my, my wind down in the day.
Speaker: In the dark with the bourbon playing of a football game. That's like my magic roller. Yeah. You put something. You put a straw on that door so you couldn't see that. I put a straw on it. I put pillows against the Lucas door so the light wouldn't go. Dude, it lit up the room like I had a light on in there for some reason. The gas under the door was like.
Speaker: no reason here Should have rested the bottle on you with a straw. Yes, yes, my belly. Yeah, so that was mine. He should have got the hat with the two. Two bourbons in each. Well, one beer, one bourbon. Yeah. That's a good way to do it, Jack and Coke. It could be a one bourbon, one ah whatever mixer. Yeah. Yeah, Jack and Coke. Put some whiskey in one. um Yeah, no, it was chill. It ended up being because I was a little bit stressed out going into it. Not stressed out, but I never dreamed of how relaxing it was actually going to be. Right. There's mainly just a lot of people. Yeah. It's a lot of people and it's not my family. So it's, you know, I was about to say it's close to my family, but you you're never the same with not your family. Um, so, it but it ended up being really nice. They were entertaining. Our family doesn't all want to go on a vacation and hide in the same house together.
Speaker: What a disaster. yeah it would be a problem iist You know how many kids would be there? offensively just to see alone What you looking at? What the hell are you looking at? Play your card. No, I'd be down, but as soon as people start talking, it'd kind of be a problem. It'd be fun. Somebody would say something eventually. It'd be fun. Cause at least we'd have like
Speaker: Me, you and Wally could disappear. You you know what I mean? Because I could leave. Yeah. You know what I mean? I wouldn't be I wouldn't be too sad because I can actually leave with people that probably would want to leave as well. But it it's hard to do that with like we've talked about with people who we don't deal with our problems as well as it would be ideal for being stuck in a house together for that long. Yeah.
Speaker: ah Jazzy's family is but very ah used to conflict. They just yell at each other for five minutes and then they're friends again. I mean, that's really it. I love you. I love you too. Okay, cool. I mean, yeah. And that's how, you know, so ah some families are depending on where you're from, but that's how they operate and it works when you're stuck together.
Speaker: yeah There's inevitably going to be issues which there honestly really wasn't that big of an issue. Yeah, probably not. But when you're able to yell at each other and just move on, it's not a big deal. But when you don't, it kind of ruins the rest of the trip a little bit because it kind of just hangs out in the air. But it does for me. Maybe not as much for you. Because you can leave. I had a great time.
Speaker: Yeah, Danny would be like, well, weren't you sad about when they were yelling at each other? No, it was hilarious. Yeah, that's standing. Bums. What a drink. I started it.
Speaker: it's
Speaker: It's called gaslighting. Yeah, a little bit. We're all good at that. But, uh, no, no, no, it being pretty nice. Um, I got out at the beach and then went back and drank a little bit and not saying you get it. Uh, the, I was disappointed. We only went out one night, um, as a Milo, we tried to limit that. We went out the last night to dinner and I got Cajun seafood pasta, uh, which I was pretty excited about. yeah it's not going to be good It was pasta shrimp and Dewey sausage. Um,
Speaker: That might've been it, but I would had high hopes for that and it was not good. Yeah. Pretty nasty. Yeah. I ate like a quarter of it. I was like, I'm good. I experienced that a lot. Certain styles of food, they just can't, most places can't do properly. like It was a good restaurant, but that dish. They just put that in a pot.
Speaker: i don't yeah I don't know if that was me or if it was not a good dish, ah you know, I can't say, but I didn't enjoy it. did It did not come out the way I thought it was gonna come out in my head. um that's ten he said taste It almost like pesto with, is it pesto? What am I thinking? of the chest is green Yeah, not the green, the Alfredo, thank you. oh It tasted almost like Alfredo with seafood in it. yeah It wasn't hitting like Cajun Alfredo with seafood.
Speaker: I was like, mmm, I'm good. It was not, the flavors weren't hitting. Um, but try to get like a burger that was delicious. Freddie got ribs cause he's Freddie. Yeah. And those are apparently very good. Um, it was, it was nice, but I was out. That was the one time I was pretty sick. And now you're saying that you're sad.
Speaker: Um, Luca was walking up to random people in the store and showing them his toys. Oh, I thought you were gonna say his belly. With all that too, he goes with his belly. That's so cute. But I was buying him a little toy whale and he was just going up, whale, and then he was going like this.
Speaker: He's cute. I was like, I'm sorry. They were like, that's fine. Get this jerk out of here. Um, there was an insane amount of Trump stuff. Yeah. Just like magnets of him yelling. That's some appealing to people. Some weird people, man. There are shirts with him with the bloody ear because that's a war cry.
Speaker: This is from strongest president. Word. You know, have your opinion, but that was very weird. Yeah. The me thinking um about my idol isn't them being angry. Like, look how mad he is. Yeah, I know. That's what I'm talking about. What? That's what I mean. The strongest president. What a jerk. Why he got shot in his ear. Why does that make him the strongest president? I feel like Andrew Jax is probably a little bit.
Speaker: Yeah, you can still vote for them. Just don't say stupid stuff. Show them everything. Yeah. Soda in the fridge. Six packs of soda in there.
Speaker: You could put a six pack of soda.
Speaker: You know a movie that's from, right? It's it's it's there, but i'm not named I can't name it. Tommy Boy. ah Yeah, there you go. Brothers don't shake hands. Brothers got a hug. Yeah, that's there. um Anything you want to keep cold.
Speaker: You know, a lot of stuff. I always forget that when I go to the beach. Yeah. And you go into like the beach store that has all this same stuff and it's already rednecky. Yeah. Um, yeah. Guns built this country. Don't take them away. Like, you know, all the, all the stuff you'd expect. Yeah. I'm taking a heaven is my wife and my AR 15. Okay. Somebody didn't read the book.
Speaker: Yeah, it was probably in there somewhere. Yeah, no. It was yeah it was the Mormons that got it right. It was the Mormons. The Mormons. That's right, the Mormons. Mormons had the correct answer. How was it about Christian?
Speaker: Do you expect to to fight the nazi demons when the devil rises? You gotta deal with your gun. Cause you know they're gonna have rocket launchers. Yeah. Yeah. You gotta BYOG stupid people.
Speaker: me This'll be warfare man. You gotta be prepared. They're under stocked up there. Crazy man. Armory's lacking. God and guns. They don't have that Trump power. That's why you're caskies should be full of just ammunition. But it is. It's there. I have it downstairs. But yeah, it was. Sericon, right? Because again, have your opinion, but to like. I'll make it a lot of logical opinion.
Speaker: But we are our point people are looking for these like people saw like there was there was ones of like, you know, Trump, that's my president. Like, you know, something like that. Like that's whatever. But like there was a fridge magnet of just him like crazy. That's people buy a bunch of those. Yeah. People like that. That's what I'm talking about. That's my guy. I love him. This is the aesthetic for my students.
Speaker: Which even still if you think that's cool that's who's buying that like this is what i want to have on my fridge because that's what makes me happy. So weird. so weird Donald trump being angry is what i need in my hand need this.
Speaker: well you know they want to take those magnets and and put it on the car I mean, you could go right through somebody's windshield and that's probably the point. Yeah. Honk if they're wrong. Wrong.
Speaker: ah But yeah, there's always fun surprises there. um We got a got some um fun stuff. Beach stores are kind of funny because they have just trinkets. Yeah, it's kind of crazy stuff. Yeah. and Obviously, I had to get like a lifeguard sweater, you know. You got to get a shot glass. I mean, dude, I was staring at them. What was really frustrating, though, what made me not buy them because I love shot glasses is ah they were all the same and they had a different beach on each one.
Speaker: It was like Myrtle Beach, Ocean Isle, you know, Outer Banks, but it was all the same exact chocolates. I was like, well, now I don't want one. yeah yeah's There's nothing special about that. Yeah, that's stupid. That's saying that you went to a beach you didn't go to.
Speaker: It was like, oh, you went went to, you went to, uh, the speech. No, that's no, I could get the one a fruit. Like, yes, it was saying that you could get those. so just yeah I didn't quite get that. Who's going to ocean? I'm buying Myrtle Beach stuff. Myrtle Beach, the same thing that I bought the Trump magnet. That's true.
Speaker: We almost made it to Myrtle Beach, but I did get this Trump thing. Yeah, I got this Trump. yeah Yeah, you're really in Wilmington, but you wanted to say that you went to Miami Beach or something. Yeah, I had a really fun time in Miami. I got the shot glass.
Speaker: ah as proveuron man and stuff But anyways, um, when we go on a vacation, dude, I'm busy. I'm sweating. And definitely starting now. Yeah. Well, I think Wally's free in December, January, February. Yeah. I imagine. So is Jimmy.
Speaker: Yeah, Jimmy's free in the... Right around that time area. Like the mid to late August fall. Yeah. I think that's roughly around when Nick's available. Early is time. Early is time. And later.
