Sunday on the Pod with... Calamity Jane

This just blew in from the windy city, the kind of hocus pocus that will do so well… now we shout it from the highest hills because this episode could be your secret love. Whip! Crack! And Calamity Jane! 🤠🐎💨

On our third episode of Sunday on the Pod, the gals take you higher than a hawk and deeper than a well. Listen to learn why Flo was given a bike at secondary school, how Howard Keel got his big break and why Calamity Jane is a lesbian icon.

This week’s addition to our Sunday on the Pod Cast Album comes from the gorgeous Blythe Montgomery who has covered the mesmerising Secret Love. Blythe was part of dance and performing arts groups for most of her life before heading to uni, and graduated during the pandemic. She moved to London from Scotland in 2021 to pursue a performing career. After taking on some part-time training and gaining an agent in her first year, she is out in the world auditioning and starting to take on her first gigs and jobs. Please watch, like and share her video, and if you fancy adding to our cast album, send us an email at sundayonthepod@gmail.com.
