Mads is joined by comedy and lifestyle creator Niiyell for a fun and honest conversation about dating, content creation, social media burnout, confidence, diversity in the Australian creator industry and the pressure of being seen online.
Niiyell opens up about taking a break from TikTok and Instagram, wiping her socials clean, navigating a difficult TikTok Awards red carpet experience, and finding inspiration again after attending the Amari Gala, a celebration of Black excellence, creators, entrepreneurs and community. She also talks about why she loves making content, the fear of changing your niche, imposter syndrome, algorithm anxiety and what it really feels like to come back online after disappearing for a while.
Plus, Mads and Niiyell spiral through real life dating fears, delusional celebrity crushes, being single, the chaos of men, AI influencers, Facebook aunties, Beyoncé, Love Island, dystopian TV shows and why sometimes you want a movie meet cute, but also think every man approaching you might be a murderer.
