ESPN dropped its NBA rankings… so Michael brought receipts.

After spending hours building his own Top 100 NBA Players for the 2026–27 season, Michael puts his list against ESPN's and spends nearly an hour asking the important question:

What the hell were they thinking?

Who did ESPN get right? Who's ridiculously overrated? Who got disrespected? And where does Michael's completely different grading system lead him?

But somehow that's only PART of this episode.

🏀 The Lonzo Ball retirement rumor hits Michael like a ton of bricks after years of being a Lonzo—and Ball family—apologist.

🏈 Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers add to an already miserable sports week.

🦂 And Michael has a theory about Drake's “Miss My Dawg.”

Is Drake genuinely telling his former friends that he misses them?

Or did this petty Scorpio make an undeniable hit called “Miss My Dawg” knowing that LeBron, Lil Wayne, Khaled and everyone else he feels betrayed him would eventually have to hear it—and maybe even catch themselves singing along?

Because maybe the point isn't that Drake misses them.

Maybe Drake wants them to miss Drake.

We also get into “Cold Shoulder,” whether Drake is getting a little too simpy, Choosin’ Texas and why Michael believes a REAL Drake/Ella Langley country remix could still be coming.

Oh, and Jeff and Michael recorded an entire episode last week.

That shit is gone.

The audio disappeared, leaving another lost episode of Politically Uncorrect behind.

And after spending an episode talking about rankings, loyalty, betrayal, people you miss and relationships that aren't what they once were, Michael eventually has to confront something considerably more personal:

Can you still be a good friend while accepting that a friendship has changed forever?

Drake Vs Lebron

The NFL Preview reaches the AFC WEST, but first Michael has an extended “disclaimer” because apparently there was some shit that needed to be addressed.

😩 FOMO from the Drake stream

🏈 Arch Manning vs. Holly Rowe

🤙 UTSA reclaiming its rightful place above Texas State

Then we finally get to the AFC West… while Michael is simultaneously dealing with the ramifications of having his wallet stolen.

Once football actually begins:

📉 Michael QUADRUPLES down on his complete lack of respect for Fernando Mendoza

🤔 Is Justin Herbert’s personal life starting to negatively affect his football career?

❤️ And an absolutely shameless amount of Chiefs glazing

Chiefs. Chargers. Broncos. Raiders.

Every team. Every schedule. Every prediction.

The final division of our 2026 NFL Preview is officially in the books.

AFC West

The NFL Preview rolls into the AFC NORTH and somehow this one goes everywhere.

We start in Cleveland with the Browns’ QB situation and Deshaun Watson’s comments about getting booed before Allen has a realization about the business of college sports that Michael would’ve preferred he kept to himself.

Then Allen makes the mistake of disrespecting the New York Jets in Michael’s presence.

That was not allowed to slide.

From there we get into Aaron Rodgers’ legacy as he enters his final season, before football gives way to a completely unnecessary series of music debates:

🎤 Joe vs. Donell Jones

🐐 Drake vs. Jay-Z

😳 Drake vs. Michael Jackson

🚨 And somehow… Drake vs. JAAFAR FUCKING JACKSON.

Michael also has to be honest with Allen about his friends, we question whether Derrick Henry might actually be overrated, and somewhere between all the disrespect, music arguments and uncomfortable truths, we actually break down the Ravens, Bengals, Steelers and Browns.

Every team. Every schedule. Every prediction.

AFC North

The NFL Preview continues with the AFC EAST.

We start with Michael voicing his growing annoyance with all this “growth” happening in Jeff’s life before Allen completely crashes out over Josh Allen and the level of praise he continues to receive.

From there, we somehow revisit Anthony Richardson’s future and Jonathan Taylor’s Hall of Fame case, debate whether the Texans are a Tier 2 team with a Tier 1 defense, and eventually make our way back to the division we were actually supposed to be discussing.

As for the Jets and Dolphins?

We were so uninterested that fast food breakfast became a more compelling conversation.

But yes... eventually we did remember Miami and New York exist and actually predicted their seasons.

Bills. Patriots. Dolphins. Jets.

Every schedule. Every game. Every prediction.

Plus an unnecessary amount of breakfast talk.

AFC East

The NFL Preview has officially crossed over to the AFC SOUTH.

🏈 What exactly is the trajectory of Anthony Richardson's career at this point?

🏆 Has Jonathan Taylor quietly built himself a legitimate Hall of Fame case?

🐆 Is it time for Jacksonville to give up the dream of Travis Hunter being a true two-way player and just let him master one side of the ball?

And then it dawns on Michael...

Aaron Rodgers and LeBron James—two of the defining athletes of their generation—could both be ending their illustrious careers in the same state.

Somewhere between all of that, we actually find time to break down the Colts, Jaguars, Texans and Titans and put our 2026 AFC South predictions on the record.

"We are podding......performative conversation......go away now"

The 2026 NFL Preview moves to the NFC North, and somehow the lore of this podcast continues to expand.

We start in Green Bay, where Michael has serious doubts about the Josh Jacobs situation (this was recorded long before the indictment) and what his uncertainty could mean for the Packers. From there, a certain date comes up...

November 15th.

Those who know, know.

Those who don't are about to learn.

Eventually we make our way through the Bears, Lions, Vikings and Packers, breaking down the offseason, fantasy options and every game on the schedule—but naturally, that's only part of what happens.

Allen reveals just how far he's willing to go to play the new Spider-Man game. Vietnam gets an extremely unexpected shoutout. Michael finds himself defending his friends while Allen decides to take shots at them like the dirtbag he is.

And then, inexplicably...

Baker Mayfield comes up AGAIN.

At this point he might as well be a member of the podcast.

NFC North

Our 2026 NFL Preview heads South as we break down the Falcons, Panthers, Saints and Buccaneers, make our fantasy picks and go game-by-game through each team's schedule.

Simple enough.

Except somewhere along the way I apparently had some unresolved feelings about Jameis Winston that needed to be addressed, Allen repeatedly started throwing up a suspicious hand sign, and a conversation about Baker Mayfield somehow sent us all the way back to the final game of his HIGH SCHOOL football career.

Not Oklahoma.

Not the Browns.

Not Tampa Bay.

High school.

There are actual NFC South predictions somewhere in the middle of all of this. We promise.

NFC South

The 2026 NFL Preview continues with the NFC East... eventually.

We sit down ready to break down the Eagles, Cowboys, Commanders and Giants, but there's one small problem: the World Cup Final is on in the background.

Naturally, that somehow sends us from soccer to NBA Summer League and Warriors vs. Lakers before we finally remember there's an entire NFL division we're supposed to be predicting.

We make it through a few teams before one joke from Allen sends the podcast somewhere neither of us expected—and apparently leads to one of the "most vulnerable" moments I've ever had on this show.

His words. Not mine.

Eventually we regain control, get back to the NFC East, go through the schedules and put our predictions on the record.

And somewhere along the way, I come to a devastating realization:

I may have let my PawPaw down.

Football. Basketball. The World Cup. Family disappointment.

Just your standard NFL Preview.

NFC East

Football is almost back, which means it's time for our yearly NFL breakdown—and we're starting out West.

We go team by team through the NFC West, breaking down the offseason moves, fantasy players we're buying and avoiding, and ultimately putting our predictions on the record by going through all 17 games on each team's schedule.

Of course, actually discussing the schedule leads us everywhere.

How much impact can one elite defensive player really have? Has Sam Darnold officially completed one of the craziest career turnarounds we've seen at quarterback? Can the Rams turn a loaded roster into an opportunity to play for a championship in their own building? And most importantly... why have I already decided Brock Purdy is going to lose on his birthday?

Somewhere along the way Calvin Johnson vs. DeAndre Hopkins becomes a conversation too.

Four teams. Every game. Plenty of fantasy talk. Even more unnecessary commentary.

The road to the 2026 NFL season starts with the NFC West.

NFC West

We sat down to continue recording our 2026 NFL Preview. We really did.

Instead, Allen and I somehow ended up everywhere except the NFL.

We start with our frustration over Texas' hemp ban before Allen explains how simply trying to be a nice person turned his trip to see the new Spider-Man into an entire ordeal. We eventually manage to stumble into some football with the latest NFL Hall of Fame class, where I may have finally given Allen a completely different way of looking at what the Hall of Fame is supposed to represent.

But surely then we started the NFL Preview, right?

Absolutely not.

I recently went in for an oil change and came out knowing considerably more about my car than I ever intended to learn. And after years of judging Karens from afar, a trip to Whataburger finally made me understand them.

I Karend the fuck out.

And the worst part?

It worked.

We promise we'll eventually talk about the NFL.

Tobey is Kobe
