In this episode of Supply Chain Connections, Manjot Singh, Founder and CEO of SummitEdge, joins Brian Glick to talk about what it actually looks like to walk away from Amazon and build a supply chain tech company without venture capital. The conversation gets into the real trade-offs of staying bootstrapped, how consulting and product work reinforce each other in surprising ways, and how AI is opening up capabilities that simply weren't on the table a few years ago.

Key topics discussed include:

 * How the decision to stay away from venture capital and Sand Hill Road shapes the kind of business and customer relationships you can build
 * The real math behind founder control and equity dilution, and why the bootstrapping vs. VC trade-off isn't always what it looks like
 * What changes when you go from managing programs at Amazon's scale to personally reviewing every software spend at a startup
 * The parallel Manjot draws between good consulting and good product leadership, and why having done both changes how he builds
 * How AI and vibe coding have unlocked a project that would have been completely out of reach three years ago
 * What Manjot sees coming for supply chain ERPs, and why customers might start rethinking how much of their platform they actually need

About the Guest:
Manjot Singh is the Founder and CEO of SummitEdge, built on 18+ years in supply chain and logistics that includes senior roles at FedEx and eight years at Amazon, where he led the launch and scaling of programs including Prime Free Same Day and Amazon Extra Large. Bootstrapping Supply Chain Tech with Manjot Singh

In this episode of Supply Chain Connections, Brian Glick sits down with Brittany Caskey, Chief Commercial Officer for Logistics at DP World, to talk about relationships, sales qualification, and what it actually takes to stay customer-first when the growth ambitions are enormous. It's a candid conversation that gets into the parts most sales discussions skip, from what customers do to hold themselves back to why the best qualification move is sometimes one your prospect doesn't expect.
Key topics discussed include:

 * Why relationships in logistics work differently than almost any other sales context, and how the best ones outlast individual deals by years
 * How to balance aggressive growth targets with the slower, harder work of building customer trust
 * What actually limits customers who lean heavily on the RFP process, and how DP World approaches those situations anyway
 * The single customer behavior Brittany sees most often that holds supply chains back from real change
 * Why a good qualification process protects relationships just as much as it protects resources
 * How customer expectations around supply chain data are shifting from reporting what happened to predicting what's next

About the Guest:
Brittany Caskey is Chief Commercial Officer for Logistics at DP World, where she leads contract logistics and freight forwarding commercial activities across the Americas. She spent nearly 20 years at UPS, starting in an entry-level role right after college before moving into sales and eventually leading her team as director, with her final five years there spent leading a global team for contract logistics and transportation management. In this episode of Supply Chain Connections, Brian Glick speaks with Pavel Kveten, CEO at Girteka Logistics, to dig into what it really takes to build and sustain culture at a major European asset-based trucking company. Pavel is one of those rare executives who spent his entire career at one company, and he has a lot to say about what that vantage point makes possible.
Key topics discussed include:

 * Why the gap between well-capitalized carriers and smaller operators is getting wider
 * What the best supply chains do differently with carrier relationships, and why switching on price tends to backfire
 * Girteka's operating model: control, discipline, and scale, and why scale alone isn't a competitive advantage
 * Why culture is harder to fake in logistics than almost any other industry
 * Brian's theory on what AI should actually change about shipment management, and whether Pavel agrees
 * What Pavel says he's most afraid of (it's not making mistakes)

Pavel Kveten is CEO of Girteka Logistics, a major European asset-based trucking and logistics company, with operations across the continent.
