Speaker: Okay, so the season finale, let's discuss it. Let's start with Milan. So they finally make their long -awaited return to the Champions League. And I have to be honest, maybe this does seem hyperbolic, but it does seem like they altered the trajectory of their next few seasons simply by qualification because if they missed the Champions League, it really could have been a doom and gloom situation.
Speaker: The following is a clip from this week's Italian football podcast.
Speaker: without a shadow of a doubt that's true. I couldn't agree with you more. They have the youngest age and that's with Manjukic and Ibrahimovic. Milan have something incredibly exciting coming on. I think of all the projects right now in Italy, I think this is the most exciting one because it's built around so much quality youth.
Speaker: Yeah, it's great. It's great for Serie A in terms of trying to reestablish itself on a European level. And I say that as someone who loves Napoli, who absolutely adores Atalanta and they're my favourite team. But looking, yeah, long term, you know, these are the three clubs that hopefully in the long term make a mark on Europe again.
