Speaker: This is Skipper Albert A. Wall, the voice of the jungle, broadcasting on the DVC to all points unknown. If you're within the sound of my voice, you're listening to Welcome Home Podcast on the DVC.
Speaker: Hello and welcome home. This episode of Welcome Home is brought to you by DVC Rental Store. Thank you for joining us on episode 367 Welcome Home, a Disney Parks and Vacation Club podcast. I'm Tom here with Trevor. How's it going, Trevor? Hey, pretty good. We were just talking about, you know, how ah what my you know my daughter's starting back up at school and, you know, start I mean, I guess we're on week...
Speaker: Two? Two? Yeah. yeah but I guess it would be start or i guess up here. Yeah. Like like everyone or all the schools went in like start of this last week. So, yeah yeah. Well, it's just like it's hard getting back into the swing of things, you know, like after like because like i like I mean, the summertime is nice because like you can just kind of like even though I have to still get to work like my daughter gets up really early in the morning. So I, you know, but like so I would sleep until seven sometimes, which is late for me. You know, like we were up at 6 a.m. every day for school.
Speaker: So summertime, it's like, oh, no, you can just kind of lazily sleep till seven because I can take her into like summer camp anytime I want in the morning. So it was it was kind of nice. I got used to it. And now I got to get used to, you know, this stuff. And now we got soccer practice and dance class and all that stuff comes back all at once. It's a lot, you know. Yeah. All I'll all'll say is enjoy it while you can.
Speaker: yeah Yeah, I know. I know. I know. know That's what we say, right? Like you were talking about, like the the the difference for me is, you know, my my son did graduate high school this year and he's he's off to his next things. You know, yeah's he's going into some post-secondary stuff and. Yeah.
Speaker: But in the meantime, he's like, yeah, I, you know, I've been released from all of that kind of stuff. Like the, yeah making sure that I get him to, uh, you know, like, you know, we used to have him in like before and after school care because, you know, when he went into school, like, you know, you know, I couldn't wait until nine o'clock cause his school didn't start till nine. So, you know, we drop him off at a before care thing and, you know, they would take him to school and all that.
Speaker: um You know, that like all that kind of stuff just has kind of fallen by the wayside. And now I'm in the the position of, you know, this this week hit and nothing's really changed for me. Nothing's changed for you. Yeah, because it's like ah but other other than, that you know, driving to work, it's like, huh, you know, there's there's more people out than usual because it's all the people rushing to get their kids to, you know, school or daycare or whatever.
Speaker: And, uh, but yeah, it's, I know, i remember the sentiment of, yeah you know, like I have to get up, I got to get them here and whatever. And it's like, it's, it's freeing when it's gone, but then also kind of a weird part of you misses it.
Speaker: But it's also good though, because you get to see the next part, right? Like it's always like, it's it's a hard thing. It's just change, right? it's it's yeah it's It's not necessarily good or bad. It's just a new thing now. you know yeah And even from like the lens of yeah you know talking about like vacations and stuff like that is ah yeah you know the difference in you know how we would do our Disney trips over the years went from like you know him him being by our side and yeah and you know me being like, you know I have to like
Speaker: navigate him through these things to like our last couple of trips have been very like, you know, he's there with us, but it's like as as more of a partner than as somebody that I'm caring for. That you're responsible for. Yeah. And yeah and I know like we we have, you know, our next trip coming up, like, you know, I've yeah i've been talking about it with him.
Speaker: And, you know, we're excited because, you know, him and I are, you know, you know, we're down to do roller coasters and stuff like that because my wife doesn't do that stuff. So, so know we're, we're excited for that, but it's like, I'm, I'm getting to a weird place where I'm, uh, you know how mine and my relationship is with my brother, right? Yeah. Yeah, of course. you yeah You've seen how we, we interact and a lot of times. Yes. Yeah. and And, and my son and I are kind of getting to that point.
Speaker: which But it's not the same, right? but But it's starting to feel more like that, which is both very, like, it's very happy for me, but also very weird. And, like, I'm remembering, like, past trips that I, like, adult trips to that I took with my ah with my wife to to Disney.
Speaker: And I'm realizing that I'm getting back to that place and it feels weird now. Like, I i don't yeah don't know how to describe it. but No, I totally get it. I totally get it. I'm like remembering all of that, but it's like, oh, but it's that's coming back, but it's different. But it's different now. yeah it's Yeah. I totally get it. it's it's it's ah It's interesting, you know. You know, for me, it's not...
Speaker: so much like a lot of change, right? Because it's it's pretty much the same, like it's like the same times and all that stuff. And, you know, she's just going to a different grade. And, you know, so now it gets, obviously as the grades go up, you get more and more, you know, ah it gets more difficult, right? So, you know, that's going to be a new challenge too, is she doesn't really have homework up until now, you know? So she's probably going to start having some homework and like just navigating all the scheduling around that with, you know, around work and and all the other things we got going on is is always going to be a challenge. So.
Speaker: And then there's going to be the transitions, like, you know, changing schools and stuff like that. and It'll be fun. Yeah. She actually changed schools this year. Oh, she did? Okay. So you have started that. I mean, I will go into the whole thing. But basically, there's two elementary schools next to each other. One of them is K-2, and the other K-5. Whoa. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: that wow yeah It's a little weird. Yeah. that That is odd to me. So where I came from, my I was K to nine. So I was in the same school. Wow.
Speaker: Crazy. and And my son's school, was so his his school was K to six. and then And then he did seven to nine and then nine to 12. so Got it. Okay. Yeah. Or sorry, 10 to 12. Yeah. Yeah, most, I mean, mostly everything down here. I mean, i growing in New Jersey, it was, you know, it was elementary school was kindergarten through five. And then we had middle school, which was six and seven. And then junior high was eight and nine. And then high school was,
Speaker: 10, 11, 12. of grades. There's a lot more separation. Yeah, there was a lot more separation. Yeah. Because us, it was ah elementary was six up to six for us is elementary. And then seven, eight, nine is junior high.
Speaker: And then 10 through 12 is high school. Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. I might i mean, listen, my graduating class was almost a thousand people. So like we, we were, you know, so like, yeah. Yeah. my Mine was about 900 as well. Cause we was in a big school, but it's, sorry, it's funny. Like we're having the same conversation again. this this is like the catch up conversation again, where I'm realizing that like, and so I assumed like everybody knew or like schooling was like the same everywhere, but I'm, it's totally not. It's not. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, yeah it's it's kind of funny how that how that works. But, you know, it's it's all good. This is it's interesting. So we haven't had a little catch up conversation. we've but We've both been so busy, you know. Yeah, yeah, it's and I will say this, actually, you know, I feel like we're coming down off the high of.
Speaker: August. like Like, it felt like... Doing an absurd amount of content in August. We did so much stuff in August that... Yeah, there's a lot. Like, like the D23 stuff and food time and you had your trip and, yeah like, it's... I'm realizing that, like... August was crazy. Yeah, yeah. we We did a lot and i'm I'm kind of glad that we're, like... This week's rundown is pretty chill, I will say. Like, there there's not... And there's more food in here, too, so... yeah There is. but But it doesn't feel as, like...
Speaker: crazy as the last couple that And I'm glad for it. Like, I feel like we, you know, we need those, we need those in between times because I can't run at like, like that level of energy.
Speaker: Yeah. Like, yeah. Yeah. that That'll drain my battery if I do that for too long. I get it. I get it. Yeah. So i why don't we why don't we start with some ah some DVC news. So so this was going around the discord, I believe. um Not not just the discord. This this one's been going around everywhere. I've been seeing this on Reddit. I've been seeing it on Facebook. I've been. Yeah. Are people mad about this? They were happy. there It's polarizing, I think, is the best way to put it.
Speaker: I mean, people i feel like in general in the DVC world, the world the word walking is is is not, um you know, is you you use that term and people don't look kindly upon that as regular DVC. I just i feel well i don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. but so So here's the part I would like to point out is that there there are people that are vocally against walking. Yeah. But...
Speaker: The fact that walking is an issue means that there's enough people doing it that probably aren't talking about it. Sure. Yeah. That that it became an issue. It was kind of like the Disney spring bus thing. Right. Where it was like there were people that in the know that were taking advantage of it. and well And we also know how this works, too, in general. Right. It's always those people that ruin it for everybody else. Right. like yeah um So, you know.
Speaker: and And so what we're talking about here is so DVC has made some changes to the reservation change, the reservation modification process.
Speaker: um And so for those that don't know what walking is, i you know, this is an interesting thing, right? So yeah essentially it's, it's a thing to kind of try to circumvent the,
Speaker: um booking windows essentially so essentially what you would do is you would schedule something all the way to the edge of your booking window and then you would just keep modifying it to go a little further out and a little further out and a little further out ah So that you can kind of circumvent the the the the the booking window.
Speaker: yeah So, yeah. or Just to try and help paint the picture of this. So, so like, as an example, you know, let's say you were traveling or, you know, they have it here. I'm reading the article. gave have a good example of the article, yeah. Yeah. You know, imagine, like, you were starting a trip on January 14th, right?
Speaker: But, you know, your 11th month window wasn't quite up that you could book January fourteenth what you would do is you would start, um, like people would start booking rooms on like January 1st. So like they would book like the duration of their stay But they would book it ahead of the window. so like So like they would have it booked like two or, you know, like a week or two weeks before they were supposed to actually have it. But then every day they would go in, they would modify the reservation so that, you know, you know, it was like, you know, let's say from like the first to the 10th or whatever, they would move it to, you know, it now goes to the 11th, but then they would take it. It would be like the second to 11th and then the third to the 12th. And so like, so that's what walking is, is you you keep shuffling things.
Speaker: the dates until you get to the date that you want. But the thing is, because you're modifying an existing um reservation, you don't have to wait until, or or, you know, the booking window, you can't book usually until your entire reservation um until the entire ah length of your, your um stay is in your, ah your 11th month window. Right. So like you would have to normally wait until the end of your, your, like calculate your booking window from the end of your trip, because that's when all of your days become available.
Speaker: But people start booking them early and they just keep shuffling the reservations to to circumvent that, which the the problem with that is it it basically means like unless you're walking stuff as well um for rooms that are very limited availability and and whatnot.
Speaker: And people doing this are getting priority over other people. Like it's it's kind of making it, you know, not fair because, you know, if you just wait until your proper 11 month window and you go to book, you could find that what you're trying to book is already taken up because people have walked reservations to to fill that gap before you even get there.
Speaker: Yeah. And so, you know, I've always kind of wondered, you know, because lot people blame walking a lot for lack of available reservations or, you know, just and I just I've always wondered if that's more perception and assumption that it is reality. I mean, I'm not saying it's not. oh I just don't know how many people are actually doing this. You know, you know, you know what I honestly think it is, is that um I think for us and I think for a lot of people, maybe that, you know, listen to this podcast or just, you know, general DVC people you
Speaker: um I feel like there's there's two groups of people. There's those that will actively plan their trips to avoid busier times a year.
Speaker: And then there's people that, you know, plan around like, you know, being in Disney at, you know, Easter or Christmas or, yeah you know, for specific dates and stuff like that. I feel like walking is more of a problem around those more high demand areas. The sought after ones. Yeah. Yeah. And and I feel like outside of that, like, you know, for me, I've never had an issue booking you know, my rooms at the Poly. But again, the, you know, studios, there's lots of them. It's not like I'm fighting for, for inventory or anything. Again, that's also part of it too, is it's like the combination of the dates you're going and where you're staying, this issue might become more of a thing than, you like, again, depending on your criteria.
Speaker: I think, like I said, you know, for, for those of us that are like, you know, Hey, I can, you know, I can stay in a one bedroom or a studio and it, you know, I'm not bothered by it. Oh. it's less of an issue. But if it's like, hey, I'm specifically looking for this resort. This room on this day. yeah I would actually even say like like, you know, even like the Grand California would be a good example of a place where walking would definitely be a problem because it is very limited but availability.
Speaker: And, you know, you know that I think maybe that kind of speaks to like, you you know, when people say like, you know, you'll never get a reservation there. um Walking just makes it even worse. Like like the chances go from like,
Speaker: Maybe you'll get it too. No, you'll never get it because there's people playing a metagame that if you're not playing it, you're losing out. Right. So, yeah. And so that's what I think it is, is that I don't i think you and I haven't felt it.
Speaker: I don't believe that it's non-existent, though. Yeah, I don't think that it's nonexistent. I just wonder what the actual impact is and if it really is to blame for a lot. I just don't know. that's It's not even, you know, it's one of those things everybody assumes is the problem, but I don't know if it actually is or not. so But to the policy change that they've made now, so their their new policy essentially limits the ability to change a reservation. So essentially you can't modify your, uh, your actual reservation until you're actually at that 11 month period for the checkout date. So essentially in in the example of, uh, you know, if you get this January 1st to January 7th, right, you can't modify that until January 7th. So B because that's the, when the 11 months out is so, this would make it basically so you can't gain any advantage ah in booking the the nights of, ah you know, back in December. Right. So that's really, ah I think, what has been ah but been changed here. um
Speaker: This they put this out on DVC member, but it actually hasn't been like actually implemented yet. So, yeah, it it sounds like there's some pilot work going on for it. So it's not yeah it's not like a blanket thing, but there's definitely like I've seen people posting like there're there's Disney's trying stuff with this. They they haven't 100 percent figured it out yet, but they're they're trying to nail down what the official policy will be.
Speaker: Yeah. i Listen, people have been complaining about walking for a long time. And so, I mean, they and also, you know, they've been complaining about a lot of the things that members have been complaining about. They are trying to fix, I think, you know, it's it's it. And this is a complicated problem. Honestly, this is it's not ah a simple thing to fix, although the fix that they're making seems fairly straightforward and fairly simple, um you know, but, you know, I don't know.
Speaker: you know I think this is smart. ah yeah i think there's another side to this too that yeah you know you know you're you're talking about like you know the the activity of walking you know from ah booking standpoint is not affecting you directly but i think the other side effect of this is how many people are contacting member services whether through chat or phone calls or whatever, to modify reservations right now that are doing walking.
Speaker: And how much, yeah like like, you know, for you to get through as a member, how much time do you think other people are taking up by doing this kind of activity? because That's true. yeah like like That's the other side of this, too, is I'm sure, if you know, from Disney's standpoint, you know, I'm sure they have metrics on all the yeah all the requests that come in to them.
Speaker: And, you know, yeah I'm sure they can quantify very easily how much of it is people modifying reservations. And I'm sure if it's enough that, yeah you know you know, a good chunk of their day is just wasted on, ah I shouldn't say wasted. Well, you can modify them yourselves, though, too. i mean, you can do it through self-service, so.
Speaker: You can now, but I mean, and again, though for that's also for people who know how to use those systems. There are people that don't engage with self-service systems and will, you know, continue to call member services and stuff. So again, that is all eating up. This is all putting a load. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: So, so I think that's the other side of it too, is, you you know, ah you know, even if walking is not hurting you directly in terms of booking, know, I think this also has a positive effect on you don't have people that are just taking up the time of DVC for the sake of doing this. And and I'm going to this is my tinfoil hat theory, too. Oh, boy. I'm I'm not.
Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. we're we're're We're getting into it early today. Yeah. i I suspect like, that you know, there's there's people that do like the walking for their own like individual reservations.
Speaker: I wouldn't be surprised if there's possibly a subset of people out there that, you know, we have talked about people who are, you know, you know, Disney has made changes for like people acting as um not, read not sort of commercial renters.
Speaker: Yes. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Commercial renters. So, like you know, there's, there is people out there that, you know, have, ridiculous amounts of points that they're not using or that they're using specifically for renting out to other people.
Speaker: I would have to wonder how much of their energy is spent on because, you know, for them renting out is, you know, they want to get the most point value possible, which would mean renting out those um high value times of year, which again is something that, you know, this is limiting their ability to do.
Speaker: Which, yeah you know, I wouldn't be surprised if that's part of it, too, is, you know, kind of helping curb people that are using this as a as a side hustle instead of actually using their DVC for just DVC. Right. so Yeah. Yeah. That's my tinfoil hat part of it. I don't I don't know that there's no evidence of that, but I'm thinking like there there probably is an effect of that somewhere in here, too. I do think it's fairly easy for them to make this change for DVC to make this change because it's basically like.
Speaker: The only people that are going mad about this were the people that were doing it. And the people, they can't really complain and be like, you know, I feel like you stopped from doing this. That's not fair. I'm not, I can't, I can't slide past the line anymore. That's not fair. I know, exactly. You can't complain about this, right? It's like, it's because you're you closed my loophole. What? Yeah. That's like going to a queue and finding out that they didn't, like, put up the ropes properly and you could, like, just slide in the sideway and then being mad that they, like, put an extra, like, wall there. It's like, oh, can't slide in anymore. It's like, yeah, well, you shouldn't have been in the first place. Yeah, exactly.
Speaker: So anyway, that's that that is an interesting change. We'll have to see how that gets implemented. um One of the other things, Trevor, is that and this is this is a just a nothing piece of news, but I i like free things. So...
Speaker: um ah people who joined membership magic beyond in 2026, get a, get a magic band slider that says membership magic beyond 2026. Well, wait, that that's not fair.
Speaker: didn't participate now. They opened it up to Canada, didn't they? I know, but I'm not taking a trip this year. know. Well, you have to buy next That's not fair. but The part about this that actually bothers me is you should I should get this as soon as I buy it.
Speaker: You know what I mean? Not with three months left in my membership. You know what mean? It's just, I don't know. d yeah The, the fact, so hold on, what what is the criteria for this? Is that you have to, or they're just sending them all out at once? or I guess they're just sending them to everybody that that got membership Magic Beyond, but I'm like... Why don't you give me that at the beginning, not at the end? Like, because it's it's calendar year, right? So it's not like an annual pass. Like when you bought it, you get a year from that point. It's just for the year of 2026, right? So everybody expires on on in December. So it's like, so you're giving me a thing that says 2026 for four months that are left in 2026. Okay.
Speaker: yeah Yeah, it sounds I'm just reading the article here. It says yeah there was a similar slider that was sent out in 2025, but slider did not arrive until a couple of months into 2026. So I'm wondering if it's just somebody Just the way they're doing the marketing. Yeah, it's probably that they realized that they need to send it out. and it was like, oh, shoot. Yeah, we forgot. Yeah.
Speaker: There you go. but But yeah, you're right. It's it's one of those things, like like you said, like buying an annual pass or anything like that, that You know, usually when it's like when you buy, it's like here's the slider here. Yeah. You know, here's the magnet. Like, you know, want it right now. Give it to me now. I just bought it like I want it now. I want to put it on my magic man now. but I mean, I guess I can put it on for next year.
Speaker: I mean, I still have an annual pass, yeah ah you know, slider on my magic band because ah even though I haven't had an annual pass in a long time, but I yeah i still have my sliders. Why would I get rid of them? Yeah, I'm not going to get rid of sliders. It's crazy. It's like the magnets. You can't get rid of those things.
Speaker: um They're all on my fridge. Yeah. Yeah. um All right. Well, that's all I wanted to talk about with that. But I was like, for you like I'm not going to complain. Yeah. Fair. But like you said, it's kind of a weird thing that they're like that they're sending them out in bulk now instead of like sending them out as people subscribe to it. but Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: ah Yeah. OK. So ah so I wanted to talk about this because this came up in the discord and night they were like, did you talk about this? And we're like, I don't think we did. But no, because I know we have taught some Disney Cruise Line stuff, but I also know that I know you try to be cognizant of not talking about it too much because I don't cruise. So I don't have frame of reference, but I think it's still valid to talk about it.
Speaker: Well, I mean, this I think this is this is great because, I mean, if I still lived up north, it would be better for me. But um so and this was from a couple of weeks ago. So just, you know, bear with us. that This is a little bit stale news.
Speaker: But, ah you know, Disney Cruise Line is going to be doing sailings out of New York and and on the Disney Wish in late 2027. September um after the after the Wish comes back from Europe. And I know one of the big complaints about the Wish, besides you know some of the designs on the inside, have been the itineraries. A lot of people have been complaining about that.
Speaker: and ah ah Because they've been doing kind of short ones, and you know they're just they haven't been great. So obviously theyve they heard people on this, and you know they're doing this the Europe one, but also they're going to be doing four to seven night sailings.
Speaker: ah you know, yeah from New York. So um only seven of them, though. So they're not doing a lot, but they're doing I mean, they're doing seven. So do you suppose this is them gauging the actual demand for it?
Speaker: Yeah, probably. because Because I will say this is I I see this in all kinds of things where you'll get a vocal minority of people who will be like,
Speaker: hey, you should, you know you know, we want this kind of itinerary. We want, you you know, we want you to do things this way. Yeah. And then a company's like, okay, fine, we do it. And then like nobody shows up for it. Right. Yeah. So, so I have to wonder if this is maybe one of these things where, you know, you know, they're trying this with the wish to see, you know, how many people in the new or how many people are going to come to the New York area to take,
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: versus like you know if if that doesn't make sense or if there isn't the demand for it i wouldn't be surprised if they go back and adjust this so that they're not they're not overcommitting to like you know having a bunch of cruises coming out of new york that are half full right yeah so I don't think that's going to be a problem for them because, i I mean, listen, you're talking about, you know, New York, New Jersey. know it's Disney cruises. im i was using that hypothetically. i mean But also just the the popular the population of the area is, you know, sick so many people there. So, and I mean, we have we have a lot of listeners in New Jersey, a lot of listeners in New Jersey. We do.
Speaker: um, in New York. So yeah, I know there's a lot of people that are, that are interested in these, but there's also too, um, after that, it looks like it's going to be heading over to, uh, down to, ah the wish and the fantasy in fall of 2027 and spring 2028 are going to be doing Southern Eastern Caribbean sailings, including San Juan, Puerto Rico. So that's pretty cool. Um, so it's going to be, I get, it looks like it says sail from San Juan, which is cool.
Speaker: Um, Yeah. I went to San Juan one time and I was like really young and really didn't appreciate it. Someone tried to sell me a fake Rolex for $15, but that was about it. Sweet. I was like 16 and this guy's like, should love this Rolex? I'm like, oh, cool. How much? It's like 15 bucks. I'm like, I'm going to say that's probably not a Rolex. Yeah.
Speaker: um Yeah, it was spelled R-O-L-E-C-K-S. What? You're 15. Who's going to know the difference? like That's true. That's true. You want to check out my Rolex? Yeah, no. i felt It just felt a little shady. Fair. Yeah.
Speaker: But anyway, ah so you got that. And then they're also doing some repositioning cruises to some 14-night trips.
Speaker: cruise uh for for the magic so there's a lot of cool stuff coming i get i i'm getting these uh oh and also the destiny is gonna um uh the destiny is gonna be going to ah port canaveral starting in fall 2027 too for three to seven night cruises of the bahamas and western caribbean so i really want to do the destiny um i just don't know i mean they're they're going out of fort lauderdale now But I don't know. We're we're not going to have any room for more cruises until, you know, 28.
Speaker: eight So i so i got I still got to figure out how to pay for the Alaska one next year. so yeah, I was going to say, you're you're already busy with cruises. So, I mean, this is kind of irrelevant to you anyway. but It really is. But I know a lot of people are are really interested, too, though. So and and yeah there's also some.
Speaker: Yeah, they're they're going to be doing more cruises out of San Diego. Listen, the more they build these ships, you know, they're obviously going to be more and more itineraries from more and more places. So this, you know, I think this is ah good if you're ah a DCL ah fan.
Speaker: Eventually, they're all going to be there. You're going to have so many cruise options. It's going to be like standing at the bus terminal in Disney Springs trying to figure out which bus you're going to get on. Kind of there, yeah. Yeah, it's getting there. I mean, not not the worst thing. Not not bad to have i like um options. yeah Yeah, I like having options. I do like in this ah this ah blog post ah that...
Speaker: They're also really trying to sell the repositioning sailings. Oh, yeah. Because, like as you mentioned, like, they're, they're you know, they part of these is, you know, they're going to do, you know, some up in New York and then move down south. and And they say, you know, repositioning sailings are the perfect way to enjoy more time on board with Disney entertainment, unforgettable dining experiences. Honestly.
Speaker: And fun in the sun for the upper decks while visiting thrilling new destinations. So, basically, like... These itineraries are you're just on the boat, which is not the worst thing if that's what you're after. But it's just funny how they're like phrasing it as like, like these are a great way to like, like get more enjoyment. like, no, but you're just you're actually spending more time on the boat. Right. You know what, though? i I am a big fan of the Sea Day, so I i i don't really love doing the ports, honestly. And i it's going to be different for Alaska, right? Because we're going to you know do things at the ports at a like because we've never been to Alaska for before, right? So we're we're going to do all that stuff. But like...
Speaker: and the And Trevor, you have you haven't done a cruise. The problem with all of the ports is they're all tourist traps. That's all they are. like And it's literally just a big old tourist trap of shopping and, you know, all these. And listen, it's fine. These few these ports base their economies on tour you know on tourists and doing these things. But the majority of the time I go and it's like, like you know, where was I? Cozumel, right? And it's just like a big shopping mall. It's like, what what do I want to do? I can do that anywhere.
Speaker: Like, what do I need to do that here for? You know, no so like give me sea days. I'll, you know, give me days where I literally have an excuse not to do anything. You know, um yeah, that's me.
Speaker: i'm I'm going to say I get you on this. And the reason I say that is, um you know, i've I've talked about, you know, we go out to the mountains for for trips and whatnot. And we stay in Canmore, which is about 10 minutes away from Banff, which Banff is.
Speaker: pretty much what you're talking about it it is it is a tourist trap it's very clearly a tourist trap um the way that they set it up and the funny thing is is that we go out to ban or we go we go and we will stay in canmore and i feel like if we did cruises we would be the same as you were were you know even going to the ports i would still stay on the ship because like yeah when i go to canmore we actually um I don't say this to my or I don't say this to other people in my family because like most of them wouldn't get it.
Speaker: But for us, like we will go we will go to Canmore. We will get a very nice hotel room. We will bring either, you know, like a Nintendo Switch or I'll bring my Steam Deck or whatever.
Speaker: And we will, um like, we'll have, we'll go out and we'll, like, we'll do dinner. We'll do a little bit of shopping stuff. But then we'll go and sit in our hotel room and we'll just, you know, open the window. So we have a view of the mountains. But, you know, I can play video games and in a hotel room and be happy. Like, that's a vacation for me versus being, like...
Speaker: out in but like and I know like I could play video games at home but it's like the view and like it's hard to describe right but it's like I feel like I feel like like being at sea is the same kind of thing where it's like yes you know there's there's nowhere to go and you're just enjoying the view you're just enjoying the vibe of where you are and you don't have to like You don't always have to be doing something even if you're on a vacation, I guess. well that's And that's, yeah, that's why I like the rooms with a with a veranda because to your point, there are times I could just go sit down on that veranda and look out at the ocean and listen to the the waves and, you know, just just, that's like the most relaxing thing in the world to me is just sitting out there and enjoying the ocean and the sounds and the smells and sights and it's it's great. i Like I can do that for, you know, for lots of time. So i'm I'm all good with sea days. Give me sea days.
Speaker: See, my my wife and I would do that, but it would we would have a Switch and we'd be playing Mario Party. so That's cool, too. i I very much endorse that. you know For anybody listening, you know you you can judge me for now playing video games on vacation all you want. because i I've had people make that comment to me before where they're like, why would you go somewhere to play video games? It's like, because it's fun and it's cool. Yeah. I don't what what why does anyone else care how yeah somebody else vacations man like but i i think it's not like not gonna lie I bring my switch with me when I go to Florida mainly for like when you know when I'm on the plane but also like some nights it's like it's helpful when you're tired and whatever yeah like I I would rather i would rather play a video game than watch TV so it's like you know if I can pull out my switch and you know play a game I'll do that right so absolutely like I i would do that on a cruise absolutely
Speaker: Yeah, I think that's a ah great idea. um Yeah, I'm fine with that. Yeah, do you do you, man. Like, that's, you know, you would, like I said, I think that's a thing you would definitely enjoy about cruise, for sure. Like, you would enjoy that.
Speaker: I know... If we could get past the motion sickness thing, I know my wife and I would very much enjoy going on a cruise together. You would love it. The motion sickness is unfortunately, it it trumps a lot of times, which sucks, right? it's It stops you from doing...
Speaker: a lot, which like, yeah, i i I don't want to put my wife through that. Like that, that's, yeah that's the part that sucks. You don't want to pay all this money, go on a cruise and have her be miserable the whole time. Like that's exactly like, that's why I say, if you're gonna do it, you should do a, like a, like a three day crew, like a three night cruise. Like, so that if she's miserable, at least she's only miserable for a couple of days. And then if you want to do it again, you do a long one, you know?
Speaker: But yeah. Yeah. Yeah. and And I think it's the, I think that like her big apprehension about it is It's the gamble of like, yeah you could do some of these cruises where it's perfectly fine. But if you catch, you know, like my parents have done cruises and they've relayed these stories to us where it's like, yeah oh, it was fine. But then like, you know, the middle of the week, you know, you know, there was a bad storm that came through and it's like,
Speaker: i don't I don't want to risk that. I get it. I mean, I experienced that on my last cruise, honestly. I mean, I don't really get motion sick, and we hit a bad storm on the way back, and it was say it was pretty rough. I mean, you know, it wasn't like ah you know like the movies, like, you know, where you know we were, like, listing back and forth, and like, we were going to, you know, there's huge waves hitting us or something that, but it was, you know, it was it was it was very, and we moved a lot. Yeah. So, yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: yeah Yeah, I get it. But anyway, yeah I know we went kind of down a sidetrack with this. But yeah, you know, you know i I honestly think it would be cool. Like, I feel like Disney is moving towards the point, like, you know, trying some of these new routes and stuff like that.
Speaker: That, you know, I made the joke about like, you know you know, taking buses from Disney Springs, but I feel like they're trying to... build out a network of cruise ships yeah right where it's like like it's it's not just like oh you go here to do a disney cruise it's like you're just going to see them everywhere which yeah that's what they want to do right yeah yeah i mean that's i we somebody said in the discord a while ago that disney has a uh ship problem because they don't have enough shifts they they have a capacity problem they they they have more demand than they have than they have capacity so And and they can't build them fast either. like Like you or you don't want them to build them fast. Right. Like. Yeah.
Speaker: Like that would be that would be bad if they were just like pumping out chips and they were like all like copy paste of each other because. Yeah. I was Googling this, Trevor, because I was just looking to see like, oh, like, you know, where are the, you know, like the smoothest areas to go on a cruise.
Speaker: um And one of the one of the mentions here is actually the Alaskan cruise. I know a couple of our listeners, especially in the discord, have done the Alaskan cruises. But it makes sense because if when you out from Vancouver, you actually stay um you actually stay like in you say in like the um I don't know what area goes through, but you're you're in a protected part of the ocean. So, yeah, it's like along the coast. Yeah. Up British Columbia to... Exactly....Alaska, yeah. Yeah, so it's it's actually... They're saying it's one of the the smoother ones because it's, ah you know, you're you're going in that completely shielded area, so Yeah, that there's less...
Speaker: That particular area, um yeah, you're right. there there is There is still storms and stuff, but there's less of like the tropical storms you get in like Southern Florida and whatnot. so Yeah, yeah. What is it? the The Inside Passage, okay? That's that's a term.
Speaker: ah Inside Passage, is that what it's called? protected 1,000-mile coastal waterway stretching from Seattle, Washington, through Green. Okay, cool. Yeah, I had a feeling it would probably be not so bad there just because it is kind of like, ah you know, you're kind of in between ah the land and the actual ocean. Oh, yeah. Yeah, okay, I see what they're doing because, yeah, there's there's a bunch of islands and stuff yeah that they're they're using those as um blockers, basically. So so you're not you're not out on the open sea. You're actually, like, going through...
Speaker: um, these things must yeah yeah, that actually might be a good option for you guys at some point. I'll point that out to my wife. Cause like, yeah, ah that might be something to consider. Yeah. Those of you who have done Alaskan cruises out of Vancouver, let us know. Is it, was it nice and smooth? Did you hit any rough waters? Like i would, I would be curious to know. So,
Speaker: Yeah, I'm just trying to, I'm trying to see. I, I, I, one of the, the fun things they have on the, on the DCL site is like for your itinerary, they'd have like a little animation. You should actually go look at the DCL one to see, because I'm just looking at random like pictures. Look at Google Maps. Yeah. Well, I just Googled inside, inside passage Alaska cruise. So.
Speaker: Yeah. Let's see. Okay. Let me look, let me look here. Okay. Yeah. So I'm going off, but see, most of the time it's pretty covered though. So it's,
Speaker: Yeah, okay. So, yeah, if I, like, there's, like, really no point that I'm, like, in the open sea, basically. It just, like, hugs to the coast the entire time. Yeah, which is also kind of cool because you're going to have ah you're going to have views on both sides of the boat pretty much the entire time.
Speaker: Yeah, yeah, exactly. I mean, open open sea is cool, too, but, like, once once you see the, ah like, the the coastline of BC and stuff, like, there there's lots to look at.
Speaker: Yeah, i'm I'm looking forward to this for sure. So anyway, why don't we do our ad? Yeah, let's do that. This week, the show is brought to you by DVC Rental Store.

Speaker: When you speak to them, be sure to let them know that Welcome Home sent you. All Are we getting into the real news now? It's the most exciting news I've read in like years. yeah I know you were excited about this and I've only read the headline. So so let's just start with the headline.
Speaker: Yeah. which So, yeah. Do you want to read this? I read this? Go ahead, please. ah so So this is a WDWNT thing. I know we don't usually But there' stuff it's based on a press release, though. It's it's yeah legit.
Speaker: i like the I like the clickbaitiness of it, though. It is. yeah Is Disney Parks Tycoon game finally happening? That is terrible grammar. It is. Yeah. Disney partners with Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, Planet Coaster, and Planet Zoo developers. So this is, a as it says, this is about ah Disney partnering with ah Frontier.
Speaker: who is the developers behind rollercoaster tycoon three, which I loved rollercoaster tycoon back in the day. I played two. ah I was obsessed with rollercoaster tycoon. Yeah. Um, yeah, but, and then also planet coaster and planet zoo, which are in the same vein. And it's, it's, you know, you're designing a theme park. You're, you're doing, um, like, like it's not just like designing the rides. You're like actually building a theme park and I have played of those games. Yeah.
Speaker: Um, I, I'm not going to lie, I don't love those games as much as I love Roller Coaster Tycoon. They made yeah they made them way more complicated than they needed to be. um and Yeah. Yeah, i think I think the problem with them was that they they they tried to bring in like a lot of stuff that fans wishlisted, which is not always... like The reason Rollercoaster Tycoon worked was because it was a very, like, specific interaction. like it like you And it was simple. It was fairly simple. yeah Yeah, exactly. Yeah, like, it had very clear guardrails to it which I think, I agree with you. I think that was a better experience.
Speaker: I didn't like Planet Coaster as much either. But the the one thing, though, that came out of those games was, and I saw this all the time, was people doing mods and doing, like, custom builds, like, trying to emulate a Disney park, right? Like, you know, like building. I tried to build Big Thunder and Roller Coaster Tycoon one time. Yeah, exactly. Right. And, and it but it was it always had limitations. And so, so the thing about this partnering though, is that, you know this is Disney actually partnering with these developers to, you know, they are building a game that will let you,
Speaker: um I shouldn't say it'll let you build a Disney park, but um basically it allows them to actually properly make use of assets and concepts and stuff from Disney in their games.
Speaker: Yeah. Which I think is fantastic. Like, it's that next level of, like, you know, you want to be an Imagineer, but you don't want to, you know... do all the work to be an Imagineer. This is a good, you know, you know this is a good middle ground, I think. so I would love if they did it where, and this this makes me really excited if they're going to do this because this is something people have been asking for, I think, for a long time, right, is...
Speaker: a roller coaster tycoon style game but with disney stuff and roller coaster tycoon always had like a they always had like a deal with like six flags so you could build like six flags parks but you know six legs parks are not the same right no but what i what i really want here is not what planet coaster is and not what you know uh zoo uh the planet zoo is zo yeah I want, I want like a full on resort simulator, meaning I can build hotels. I can build multiple parks. Like, you know what i mean? Like I want the whole deal. Like I want all of it.
Speaker: You know, i want to build for, I want to build all four of the parks and have hotels in between and build transportation in between them. Like give me the whole thing. You want to build a bubble. Yeah. i i want I want a combination of, like, SimCity with, you know, Rollercoaster Tycoon and, like, you know, let it let me build the city that is Walt Disney World, right? like Yeah. I hope that however they choose to do this, like, like these sim games, i I think they're at their best when you can choose what aspect of it you want to focus on. Because, like...
Speaker: I like in games like this where like, that you know, there's a mechanic where, where you know you know, for some people, the the park management stuff is like, I don't want to do that. But you can like hire, you know, NPCs in the game to to manage manage that part for you. And then you can just focus on like the I want to build stuff or I want to do this part of it. um I hope that's what they're going towards. Like, I like the statement that they put in this. um Which is very big.
Speaker: yeah Well, well the the quote from, this is Joe Cook, who's the the chief executive officer. Our mission in this game is to connect a passionate, creative community of players with one of the world's most iconic and beloved brands. I can't wait to see what our talented teams will create with this amazing opportunity, which that makes me excited because that's where you always see like, like not just people like doing stuff to emulate the parks. Like like that's always like the the ground level of it is like,
Speaker: you know, oh, I, you know, i rebuilt like Magic Kingdom, stuff like that. But what I hope to see from this is, yeah you know, Disney releasing more of the conceptual stuff and people building like, I would love to see like conceptual rides come from this that, you know, we've always talked about, like, I wish that they would build like, you know, you know, based on XIP, right? And yeah having the ability to do that in a game, while it's not the same as, you know, getting it in real life,
Speaker: You know, things like Planet Coaster. I believe Planet Coaster you can actually play in VR. so Oh, really? i have I've never tried that. I'm pretty sure it has VR functionality now. or Like, it's something they added along the way.
Speaker: So, like, this is, like, that that sweet middle ground of, you know, if you have developers that know how to do the gaming part of it right, but then you have the IP behind it with, you know you know, being able to do all the ah just, like, clearly Disney stuff. Like, I want to be able to put Disney trash cans in the park properly. Yeah. Because trash can... So, okay, sorry, I'm going to sidebar this. um We... My brother and I are playing a game called Waterpark Simulator and we actually had a very extensive conversation about... um They have different trash cans that you can place and you you have to place trash cans throughout the park because, you know, people are throwing trash all the time.
Speaker: And... You know, we we we were talking about the aesthetics of our trash cans and we ended up settling on these very cool Mayan ones, mainly because they actually looked cool when ah um occasionally trash cans would start on fire. And I don't know why they do in the game. That's kind of weird.
Speaker: It's a funny thing. But these particular ones, because they look like ah it was like a bird... mouth or like a beak opening up it looked very cool when they started on fire so we were like yeah let's let's put these trash cans around the park for that reason but but like yeah it's it's a lot of aesthetics and and stuff like that that uh i'm i'm excited for this too like i i i hope that i hope they do this uh do this justice right i mean they can do it the real basic way
Speaker: or they can do it the really cool way right like the really basic way is you just let people build a single park and you know whatever just kind of like the same mechanics as roller coaster tycoon you do the research and all that kind of stuff right the the cool way to do it though is to like you know you have a whole imagineering lab you can do hotels you can do transportation you can do like you can take this to a next level that doesn't exist And, you know, how many, i mean, like, what if I want to put, you know, like Test Track and Magic Kingdom?
Speaker: Cool. Let's do that. You know, like, let's, I want to do that kind of stuff. Or, and also just be able to just, like, make my own thing out of it, too. Like, like, can you imagine some of the Disney ride systems as, as a custom thing you can make in the game?
Speaker: Like, I, like a Test Track or like, you know, Peter Pan or, you know, a trackless ride system. I don't know of any games you can do that with right now, you know? You could do mirrored versions of rides, which I know it it it doesn't sound like a big deal, but it actually very much breaks your brain when you go right instead of left where you expect to go. Yeah. Like one way or the other. Right. So, yeah, like I i agree that, you know, you know, yeah, that this is.
Speaker: there is a fine line between like giving people the creative tools, but also having like, like you're talking about like the research part of it is like the, the, I hope both things exist in the game because there, there is different use cases for one or the other. Yeah. Um, and, and I think like, I enjoy like the, the, the progression part of it, but then also like hitting a point where it's like,
Speaker: I don't want to like worry about leveling up or researching. I just want to build something. Yeah, get Yeah, and yeah i hope I hope they figure out that balance. There's a balance there, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, see me, I want like all of the little details. i want to like do like all of it, you know? You you just want you want to be just super creative and just like have the agency to do what you want to do, which, you know, yeah, like those kinds of things are great.
Speaker: ah as well. um but But like I said, that's why roller roller coaster Tycoon is great, right? Because you can do either one, right? You can be super creative about it or you can just use pre-made things they already have, you know? it Yeah, it flips back and forth, right? Like, it like that's that's the that's the hard balance. I think that, um I think Planet Coaster missed on that where like they kind of gave you too many options. Yes. And it became choice paralysis.
Speaker: So, I'm hoping, it sounds like again from this article that they've kind of, you know, you know, they've got a good set of developers. I know like with Planet Coaster, they've been changing it and improving things over time. So, you know, taking all the lessons they've learned from that and applying it to a Disney IP game, um that seems like a win to me.
Speaker: i Agreed. I can only hope they allow us to create our own drone shows, but that's neither here nor there. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Customizable drone shows. that Because you can do customized fireworks shows, I think, in Planet Coaster, right? So. Yeah. Yeah. you You can actually build like a full fireworks, like sequencing and all that stuff is built into it. So, yeah. doing Doing a drone show. and i gave it I actually haven't even thought about that. That's a cool idea. Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah. Because you're effectively like doing, designing a drone show the way they do proper drone shows, which is like you map it all out on the PC first and then execute, right? So. Yeah. Yeah. I'm asking for like a $500 million game, which will probably be, which will this, this will not be. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, i'm asking for like a GTA level game and this this is not going to be that. to To be fair, I will say this. There are like, you know, the big AAA games, they do well, but there's a lot of indie developers out there that do amazing things with very little resources. So i i wouldn't I wouldn't put it past them. It really depends on the creativity of the devs in this case.
Speaker: Yeah, well, listen, they they they got a good partner in Frontier for this kind of thing. They they they are they are the ah the the ah the great company that does a lot of these great ones. I mean, there's some other ones out there that are pretty cool, too, that fall. I mean, you know, we talked about SimCity. SimCity's a, you know, legendary game. so And I mentioned Waterpark Simulator. it's It's a little indie dev doing it that, like, but it's a fantastic game. Like, they they they're one of those ones that hit that mark where they they've kind of found...
Speaker: that balance between those things we were talking about. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You want to build a water park. Yeah. Yeah. Right. um All right. We don't need to really talk about this if you don't want to. i don't. I mean, it's so it's sad. And yeah, I don't want to. don't know. i was too long So there was a project for a live action gargoyles. Now, if you're a 90s kid like I am and and Trevor somewhat is right because you were a little. If you watch Star Trek. You probably also were aware of Gargoyles. Yeah. Because the whole cast of Star Trek was on Gargoyles. Yeah. Next Generation specifically.
Speaker: Pretty much, yeah. And so they had announced three years ago that they were going to do a live-action version of Gargoyles, but it seems like that is canceled. Eh, I mean, i'm not surprised.
Speaker: it Like, Gargoyles is one of those IPs that is very... It is a niche thing. It's very cult classic, yeah. I can see where they probably didn't get the backing for it. So, okay, fine. i' Yeah.
Speaker: I'll stop looking for it. ah We don't need to talk about that long, though. I just needed to you just need to bring that up. i But i listen, i like I said, I have no real attachment to Gargoyles, so this doesn't make me all that sad. I'm ah um i'm okay. I'll be fine.
Speaker: It wasn't really a show that I watched all that much when was a kid, so... Really? i I watched, or Gargoyles got, the first season or two seasons were good, and then I kind of went in some weird directions.
Speaker: It's very dark for Disney, though. It's very dark. It was, yeah. It definitely was, but fantastic show. I loved it. All right, Trevor. let's We're going to do um we're gonna do some more food, so I'm going to do this.
Speaker: Food time it? Food Foodies are here, so our mission is clear. It's food time. Food time. Team food is ready unless it has dairy because it's food time.
Speaker: Food time. With Tom and Trevor, this take forever because it's food time. time. Food time. Food and wine, we have the time.
Speaker: Because it's food time, food time.
Speaker: all right, Trevor. So I know we've been doing a lot of food stuff lately. ah There's still more. there's Yeah, there's still more. They just came out with a bunch more food stuff, in fact. And one of those, let's i can' and I couldn't ignore these. you know like First of all, we we talked a little bit about this new ah place coming to, what what was there before? is that piano bar, and I'm forgetting the name of it now.
Speaker: ah Oh, yeah. I'm blanking too. I know where you're talking about, but yeah. um Yeah. Why am I blanking on what it's called? Anyway, that, that, the, the, gosh, somebody, somebody is yelling at at us. through Yeah. What is, okay hey We got to look this up. Sorry. Quickly Google. ah Anyway. ah So Hurley Burley ah is, is this new place in the boardwalk ah and Hurley Burley is going to, going to be opening for October 1st, which so soon here, very, very soon.
Speaker: um and Jelly Rolls Jelly Rolls Gosh I can't Sorry So now everyone can calm down Yeah yelling So Jelly Rolls is gone Yeah We forget things sometimes Hurley Burley Hurley Burley which is a great name and and fits very well into the the the boardwalk ah you know that that boardwalk aesthetic that they got going on there um but So Hurley Burley is um it's going to be it's going to have like so it says it's going to be lively activities such as trivia and games for the whole family. And then at 9 p.m. it goes to 21 and older.
Speaker: So they'll have live music. But then they also got food, Trevor. We got we got food. They got some tasty looking food. There's some really, you know, it's like little appetizer stuff, like it's small bites, but it all looks delicious.
Speaker: Yeah. I want to eat all of it. um You know? So we're starting off here. We got ah meatballs and tomato gravy, which is really just a thing that Italians call, instead of tomato sauce, they say tomato gravy.
Speaker: So... It's the same thing. actually didn't even clock that. I was just like, yeah, it's tomato sauce, it but they actually say tomato gravy. you They do. Yeah. But it's veal, pork, and beef meatballs, tomato gravy, cheese I'm not going to be able to pronounce, and pecorino romano. I don't know. like Somewhere my Italian ancestors are rolling around in their graves. Yeah.
Speaker: ah Yeah. So it's, some you know, some really good looking cheese on here. It's a nice little piece of bread. Just these are all like little just like appetizer kind of bites, you know, like little bar food bites. Right. yeah You get enough of them together and you can get a big bite.
Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I got like it. They got an antipasto, which ah has some sliced meats, burrata, again, Romano and some veggies. um They also have um this.
Speaker: What? Wait, what are these are pretzels? So, yeah, it says mini pretzels with bacon. No, this is the tomato pie. This is the tomato pie. Yeah. Yeah. So i guess we don't have a picture of the. Yeah, we don't have the picture of the mini pretzels. Yeah.
Speaker: But there's mini pretzels with bacon cheese fondue, which bacon cheese found fondue is you're speaking my language. Yeah. yeah ah But the tomato pies, focaccia, tomato sauce, oregano, and pecorino romano. They must just have, you know, pecorino romano just everywhere. Yeah.
Speaker: So, yes, I know. like Actually, yeah, ah you're right. i'm just Now that I'm reading it, it's in every thing that we've. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Which is fine. I mean, like, this is supposed to be Atlantic City Boardwalk and, you know, it's New Jersey. You got a lot of Italian stuff floating around. I love the Italian theming here ah with the food. So these these garlic shrimp. Ooh.
Speaker: Yeah. these look These look good. And don't eat shrimp, but. Yeah. Oven roasted garlic shrimp with garlic herbs and sweet onion, pepper onion relish. That's tasty looking.
Speaker: Yeah. Oh, yeah, for sure. And then you got some roast beef sliders, which are shaved roast beef and horseradish mustard sour cream on slider rolls again. These look pretty good, too. They're simple, but they look good. haven't had a good roast beef sandwich in a minute.
Speaker: Like a good au jus. I know these don't come with an au jus, but. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Good roast beef slider. Yeah. what is What is it like? How does it say theater concessions? A trio of meatballs, sugar, cookie, and butter popcorn. So it's like they're giving you like a flight.
Speaker: Meatballs, sugar, what? I'm assuming not together. why There's not a picture of that. so No, but but wait no, wait. when when When have you ever gone to a theater and gotten meatballs with your popcorn?
Speaker: yeah I mean, you know, classic combination, Trevor. you talking about? so no don't No, no, no, no.
Speaker: No. No, that not compute. yeah um that ah that That's such a weird pairing. It is a little like like ah so You know, it's the savory, sweet, and then salty, yeah which I i get. like Like, yeah, I guess the three of them together. But calling it like...
Speaker: theater concessions that made that I mean i suppose there are theaters now where like you can go eat a meal so you could get all of these things at a theater. I mean now I've been to the ones where you can get a meal and I've never seen anyone eating a meatball um but you know.
Speaker: Have you gone and asked everybody in the theater if they're eating meatballs? because i Yeah, no. You know, get up and walk around and hey, what are you eating? but Yeah, like it's it's a weird pairing. And I'm not saying that it would be bad, but it's just like...
Speaker: That made me stop for a second. I was like, like, because like the cookie and the popcorn, like, yeah, I get that. Like, that's like, you know, you always get like something sweet with your popcorn. Yeah. But I, I've never in my life been like, where are the meatballs when I'm going into the theater? Like, yeah, yeah.
Speaker: Yeah. Well, it's yeah so we for have you ever watched It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia? ah I've seen I've seen clips of it. I I'm aware of it. I know the memes from it, but well, depending on where you're going with it. Yeah. So there's there's a there's a whole meme of ah Charlie from It's Always Sunny of he he has like a bag of spaghetti that and he brings it into inappropriate places to eat it. And there's one episode where he goes, what's your spaghetti policy here? While he's eating it out of the bag. Like that's ah that's all I'm thinking of right now. is Yeah. just Yeah. fair. Yeah.
Speaker: yeah yeah yeah that's fair Yeah. Anyway. the The last thing, though, on the list, um mini apple cider donuts. Yeah, that looks delicious. And then a miso caramel sauce. which Okay. i don't know if you've had miso before, but it's a very savory thing. I'm sure I've had it in something.
Speaker: Yeah, I'm sure I've had it in something before. don't know. had miso before? Probably. and and I don't know. I've had a lot of things that I don't, like, you know, notice. like yeah i guess Yeah, I guess they they do put miso in a lot things. Miso shows up in a lot of other stuff, you know? It just, like, shows up in things.
Speaker: I mean, it's like bean curd and stuff. So, yeah, its it is pretty easy to pair with other things. But that means it'll be like, it'll have a little bit of ah a savory kick to it. So, yeah, i like that. It's interesting. They got some non-alcoholic drinks, too. There's ah there's ah an orange drink of some sort and then caramel corn cold brew. Okay. Ugh.
Speaker: I hate that. And then a cherry marquee, which is, ah what is this? This is this is Shirley Temple, basically. so Do you guys have Shirley Temples up there? Oh, yeah. Yes, we get Shirley Temples Well, I just didn't know if it maybe was called something different. i don't know.
Speaker: no that yeah yeah, they are called Shirley Temples. but So, yeah, it's lemonade with Amarina cherries garnished with a gourmet cherry. so wait it's No, it's not a Shirley Temple because Shirley Temple is made with grenadine.
Speaker: It's true. You're right. so it's it's I'm just guessing it has a similar flavor to a Shirley Temple. Similar flavor, but, yeah, they're they're calling it something different because it's not... I'm sure because having a Shirley Temple on the menu doesn't work. Yeah. yeah Although, I mean, it would be good. a good I mean, you can't just put a like straight up Shirley Temple on there.
Speaker: By the way, they're going to have a walk-up window for this place um where you can get drinks. I don't know. Can you get alcoholic drinks at the walk-up window? Oh, yeah, you can. Look at that. Wow.
Speaker: so So, yeah. So you can be cruising around on the boardwalk with your alcoholic drink. umm I'm sure this is a similar deal to, um like, the alcoholic drinks they serve in... Abracadabra.
Speaker: I was going to say ah in Batuu. go Oh, yeah. Well, yeah. Any place they have the alcohol at the parks, like you can walk around with it. It's not like a. Yeah. But but it's a matter of like they serve it in different cups so that they so they can keep track of who has what. So it's like. would hope so.
Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. they so They have a bunch of alcoholic drinks, too. I don't really feel the need to go through all these, Trevor. I yeah will i will say that we have other menus to look at, too. Yeah. I mean, I will say a cherry vodka limeade sounds i love cherry limeades just in general. Like, so if I were going to have an alcoholic drink, it would be that one.
Speaker: So, yeah. perfect All right. So let's see what else we got here. Oh, the Diamond Horseshoe. They're giving the Diamond Horseshoe some love. Look at this. Yeah. This that is a limited time pop-up that they're doing, unfortunately. Yeah, which I kind of love.
Speaker: Yeah. It looks tasty. It looks amazing. Like, this looks so good. um Okay, so so let's let's start. um The very first thing on here is it just says charcuterie.
Speaker: Yeah. But this charcuterie looks so much better than the one one we talked about for food and wine. It does. It does, yeah. Especially the fact that the bacon is like... like is Is that a clothesline? Yeah. yeah or It's like clothesline clipped onto a little stand with ah but where they say cured beef, candied bacon, smoked pork, green chili cheese, smoked cheddar, and pickles. What is the giant thing hanging there, though? Is that just like a cracker or a tortilla?
Speaker: i assume it's like a piece of naan bread or something. or I don't know. It looks like a season with something delicious. Yeah. it I mean, this, it just looks good. Like, yeah. And having the the bacon like hanging over top of everything kind of implies that like, like you're going to get like the bacon. Little bacon grease dripping down on everything. thing So like it just gets on everything. And yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
Speaker: I like it. Yeah. These are small plates, by the way. So these are like little appetizers. So then we have ah glazed sticky ribs with cowboy beans and jalapeno crisps. I will say my last rib experience at Disney was not great.
Speaker: um was it Yeah. But they do i mean they do there are places that have good ribs. I mean, they yeah do have good ribs at ah at Flame Tree. ah Just Whispering Canyon was a little disappointing. All right.
Speaker: This next one. um Is queso fundido? Is that you use it? Oh, yeah. Queso fundido. I've never had queso fundido. It's just queso dip, but yeah. Okay. With barbecue burnt ends and warm tortilla chips. So this this is just, yeah.
Speaker: Straight deliciousness. Yeah. Yeah, I can see that. I i would sacrifice some lactate for some queso. Nice. Yeah. Yeah, i i I would be there for this. That's an easy win.
Speaker: Oh, and fritters? Yeah, golden corn fritters with cilantro, ranch dressing, and red chili honey. Those look good. Yeah. I know they say these are small plates, but I feel like I'm ordering like three of these at a time. Can I get the ribs, the queso, and the fritters, and that's lunch?
Speaker: Can you be Can you me two orders of the fritters, please? Yeah. Then there's a chipotle chicken tostada with queso fresco, lime crema, and pickled cactus salsa.
Speaker: Yeah. Speaking my language there. Yeah, that looks that looks pretty good. Yeah. And then at the very end, oh, it's so cute. um the The mini hot dog platter, which... Pigs in a blanket, baby. Yeah, yeah. They're just like pigs in a blanket. So wrapped pastry served with tortilla chips and a side of queso because, you know, I needed...
Speaker: I needed chips and salsa with my mini hot dogs, but... um Listen, I'm dipping the mini hot dogs on the queso. Forget the chips. Yeah. eric I mean, i think this is a good, like, you know for the you know, for the younger kids or, you know, maybe the the less adventurous eaters.
Speaker: that That feels like a good alternative, but I mean, it's... I said it's cute because it's really hard to stack it up next to, like, these ribs and queso and everything else. Like...
Speaker: They are nice. And I haven't seen a lot of like the the pigs in a blanket style hot dogs, which maybe they're trying that. Like maybe that's a I feel like this whole thing is an experiment, right? Because like yeah doing this is like a little pop up. And and truth I mean, they haven't they they've opened the Diamond Horseshoe in the past, you know, for like when they're really busy for food, you know, but it it hasn't always been open, you know.
Speaker: Yeah, that's true. Yeah. yeah Yeah. I like I like that they're trying things. I hope that some of these things stick. Like yeah it feels like like you said, yeah, maybe maybe this is something that you'll see it expand out into some of the sit downs and whatnot if they get enough ah popularity.
Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. And and these non-alcoholic drinks wow, this lineup. like Yeah, they got a good lineup. I'm getting one of each of these. um so So, I mean, starting off as an orange cream soda, I am i am a sucker for orange cream soda.
Speaker: um Like just, you know, orange with vanilla ice cream. Yeah, that's easy. Yeah, I i love i love anything creamsicle. yeah Yeah, exactly. It's it's a creamsicle in a mug, so um I'll take it. And then, you know, you follow it up with caramel root beer with sweet cream. Oh, yeah. So caramel with, like, this is a caramel cream soda kind of deal you're getting.
Speaker: And then when you've had, you know, way too much cream and everything, e you cut it with some enchanting ember lemonade, which... um premium lemonade, strawberry, and hot honey.
Speaker: o so So this has got some spice to it. It looks like they even spiced the rim of it with something or that like yeah it looks like a something hot on the on the rim there.
Speaker: And then, ooh, and then Enchanted Grove Lime Splash, which limeade, cucumber, and mint. so You want a flight of this, don't you? You want all of this. So the last one feels like the the cucumber Sprite. That's kind of what I'm feeling like it would taste like. But like this quite the selection of flavor profiles in just non-alcoholic beverages.
Speaker: By the way, it's it's worth noting that when when the when the horseshoe ah the golden horseshoe is open, or the diamond horseshoe, don't know why say golden, that when the diamond horseshoe is open, ah it it serves the exact same menu as um as a a Liberty Tree. They have the same kitchen. they get It's the exact same menu so when it's open. So I'm wondering if they're testing this out to see if the diamond horseshoe can be its own thing.
Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. That's that is interesting if they're going to do that, because, um yeah, that I didn't think about that, that, you know, you you have restaurants that are like sharing, sharing that space and sharing menus and stuff like that. But I see the merits of them actually breaking it off and making them two unique things, because like the Diamond Horseshoe definitely for a long time has been kind of.
Speaker: forgotten yeah I guess because Liberty tree is right next to it. So maybe they're trying to give it an identity again. It's kind of what it feels like because it was really almost just like a different room of Liberty tree because it was the same menu. But, and now they, you know, they have the little show there now.
Speaker: um but it's almost like they're trying to, they're like, Hey, we have this prime real estate. Let's do something with it, you know? Yeah. And I wonder if it's like, there has been the feedback of like,
Speaker: You know, quick services in Magic Kingdom are not the best, like like, comparatively to the other parks. Like, there's just not as much variety. That's true. um So, yeah, maybe maybe this is their they're way to solve that. Also, but i'm yeah I'm doing hot takes today, but just because...
Speaker: I'm feeling saucy today. I am. I'm feeling very saucy about this. I'm wondering if them changing this up, maybe this is a hint of ah maybe they're going to be doing some substantial changes to Pecos bills and they're, oo okay you know you know, staging this as a,
Speaker: place to offer because ah this is similar kind of um fair to Queso's bill or Queso's bill. Queso's bill would be good too. but yeah yeah i Yeah, I can kind of see that. it's Yeah, it's kind of in the similar vein as Queso's bills. So i wonder if um I wonder if maybe that's part of it is that they like if Queso's bills is going down for an extended period, they have another option nearby? Yeah, maybe.
Speaker: Maybe we'll finally get that, uh, that, uh, you know, Tiana restaurant that it's been, uh, rumored for forever. But, uh, who knows? I, if they do that, this diamond horseshoe needs to stay as the like Tex-Mex option is my opinion. Because i I like Pecos bills for that Tex-Mex kind of stuff. And it like, if they turn into Tiana's, it becomes like, like,
Speaker: the Tian's menu will be very different from what's at Pecos Bills. And I don't know that I will want to go there as much as I want to go to Pecos Bills, which I mean, even Pecos Bills menu has changed. I know like, you know, that's whole other issue. Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah. Every, everyone would go to Pecos Bill just for the, ah for the, um for, for the toppings bar. Like it was all about the toppings bar. I mean, we, covered we would just go get the, like the, the three tacos and just load up and, And yeah, it was it was fantastic. I mean, even even after they got rid of the the toppings bar, the tacos are still great. But now they're basically just Chipotle.
Speaker: Yeah, I guess. Yeah. Anyway, ah last but not least, Trevor, there's just like an article of just like all sorts of like random food around the parks. It's new.
Speaker: um But an interesting way to frame this. It is. It just says new treats and drinks coming to Walt Disney World. Here's things that we have. Please go find them.
Speaker: So at ah Art of Animation ah and ah so Art of Animation, first of all, they got a some birthday cake waffles and some birthday cake pancakes.
Speaker: OK, so Art of Animation gets the cool stuff, apparently. Yeah, sometimes, yeah. they These are fine, though. like the The one that gets me is the is the one that's over at ah at Port Orleans and also ah Pop Century, think. Wait, is that the... No, no, no, wait. The All-Star Sports one, the Caramel Banana Waffles. That's the one I want.
Speaker: Oh, I didn't get that far. I was stuck on the Strawberry Waffles. Where are the Strawberry Waffles? Is this just that is that just the first one? Yeah. Okay. that's Yeah, Strawberry Waffles are... okay They're at, yeah, Puerlens.
Speaker: Oh, ah wait, the ones with the strawberries and the cream on top of it, those are the ones you're talking about? Yes. Okay. No, sorry, strawberry pancakes. Yeah. um Yeah, there's pancakes and waffles. And then, yeah, i see I see what you're talking about, the caramel ones. Yeah, those look delicious. They did these out of order.
Speaker: They did do them out order. Yeah, it's a little weird. um Yeah, that's that's what I would go for, honestly. Hmm. Candy bar changes. that there's one on here that they don't have a picture of it but I'm curious what they actually look like is it's a Mickey shaped fruit cereal waffles which I'm guessing so very clearly fruity pebbles creamy vanilla custard with fruit cereal served with bacon and sausage like I I want that fruit it's fruity pebbles right they're just yeah I i love me some fruity pebbles like you know we yeah yeah we get fruity pebbles all the time
Speaker: um, up here. I don't, I don't eat them all the time, but I mean, like I can buy them whenever I want. So, um, yeah. That's a candy bar pancakes too at, uh, all-star movies. Candy bar. What is this menu?
Speaker: It's, it's a sugar, it's a sugar, uh, filled breakfast, bonanza. Yeah. hey, kids, do you want to be wired before 8 a.m. for your park day? like Sometimes you need that boost for the kids, you know? Yeah. And sorry, I shouldn't even say, like, it's not just for the kids. Like, I mean. It's for the adults, too. If I'm on vacation, I'm i'm getting, you know, Fruity Pebble waffles and strawberry pancakes. Like, yeah.
Speaker: If I'm just, you know, in regular life, if that's presented to me as an option, I will have that as well. Fair. yeah yeah Yeah, you're right. i'm i'm not I'm not limiting myself to... To only doing the stuff at Disney. But yeah, it definitely makes it easier. yeah And and and they are I think they're acknowledging the fact that people want, you know, fun breakfast options. You don't you don't just want a scone or a muffin for breakfast. You want, yeah you know, want the fancy pancakes, please. We also have ah we have some churro options too, Trevor. Yeah, lots ah lots of churro options. I think this first picture here is of the cookie butter mini churros.
Speaker: Really? That's not the Bavarian cream filled churros? don't think so because it doesn't have chocolate sauce on it. Oh, yeah, yeah. Fair point. And it has crushed cookies on top. So I think this is over at Ice Cold Hydraulics at Hollywood Studios. Cookie butter mini churros, which look really delicious.
Speaker: Yeah. Why is all this stuff at Hollywood Studios? Oh, no, wait. Sorry. It's not just Hollywood Studios. It's kind of spread out. This is all over the place, man. ah Sunshine Seasons at Epcot has a a churro strawberry shortcake sundae, which I think is the second picture here. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Speaker: Which is like a deconstructed churro sundae, like a make your own sundae kind of situation. Which is like the the the churros are kind of interesting, though. or the They're like the way they're curled up. It almost looks like a loop of churros. They're like ah it's like a pretzel almost. Yeah. But it's churro. Churro pretzels. Cool. What are these? Yeah. The next picture is I'm guessing that's churro overdrive.
Speaker: which is cookies and cream blue sugar yeah that's that's gotta be yeah cookies and cream mini churros blue sugar and marshmallow at energy bites at magic kingdom park which yeah clearly like the the the picture is like tron life cycles is in the background going by in the background yeah yeah so um but there's also they don't have pictures of these things but they have a they have a couple different they have maple bacon churro fries that sounds amazing churro fries what does that I think they're just like, I think they're like non-stuffed ones. Like they're almost just like, um, I've had them before. Huh. Interesting. Then it says that they're served with crispy crepe wafers and maple floss.
Speaker: And that sounds delicious. so Maple cotton candy crepes. Yeah. Okay. How do you feel about this dole whip pineapple with chili lime and churro sundae?
Speaker: Yeah, you got to go back to Blizzard Beach for those maple bacon churro fries, but then you also got to go over to Typhoon Lagoon for the yeah pineapple chili lime churro sundae. Next year only. the oh yeah the The only place you can get those the the chili lime one at right now is at Animal Kingdom at Warung Outpost. But next year at Happy Landings in Typhoon Lagoon, you'll be able to get it. There you go.
Speaker: Yeah. So, i don't know, some interesting options there, right? Very, yeah. Like, I'm, I'll be honest, I'm surprised at, or I shouldn't be surprised because, you know, we've been, we've been saying this for a while that, you know, Disney had to, you know, step up their game with, you know, not just doing copy paste of the same items across the parks.
Speaker: Yeah. They're clearly doing that here. Yeah. You know, they're they're trying things in different areas and seeing what sticks, right? Sure, yeah. um Yeah, the the only thing that makes me sad is that, You know, by the time i get there, they're all going to be gone. Yeah. You know, I'm not going to get any churros. I'm not going to get strawberry pancakes. There'll be new things to eat, though.
Speaker: i I realize I'm going to have to, like, actually make an effort to get over to, like, Pop Century. They always have crazy stuff at the food courts at the All-Star Resorts.
Speaker: Yeah. guess I guess you could Skyliner and walk over there. Yeah. to Skyliner. Yeah. ah They also got some frozen slushies going on too. um So all over the parks, Hollywood, see all the parks, basically. No, Epcot Magic Kingdom Hollywood Studios has a key lime dream, which is minute made limeade and key lime topped with sweet cream and graham cracker crumbs. Basically, it's a little key lime pie in a in a in a freeze.
Speaker: I don't know that I like that. Oh, I would i would destroy that. Well, okay, so I like Key Blind, but because it's a slush, I don't think I'm liking it as much. like yeah but Like, you know what I mean, right? Yeah, I do.
Speaker: It's that lime flavor, but the cream is just coming from the cream on top of it. It's not. Yeah, it's not like mixed in. It's not like the creamy keem lime pie that you get. Yeah. But yeah and I mean, okay, it's still a flavor. Yeah.
Speaker: Then you have the golden frozen flame, which is Minute Maid lemonade blended with honey, chili, and flavors of passion fruit, orange, and guava. So basically it's pog juice. Pog. Yeah. yeah part I don't know why they know just call it Pog, but yeah, I feel like they love dancing around Pog Juice. They don't want us like, they don't want to acknowledge it, but yeah, but it's like, we, we have it. We know it's Pog Juice. It's, it's every, this one's everywhere. you can get this at Hollywood Studios. You can get this in Animal Kingdom.
Speaker: um outdoor vending machine in Disney Springs. it just is outdoor vending. Okay. It can't be a machine, right? i I put machine in there for some reason. I don't Well, because you just automatically would say vending machine. I get it. Yeah. Yeah. The fact that it just said outdoor vending is like, okay, I will just find this somewhere in Disney Springs. And then, yeah, it's at the Mara. It's at Tambu Lodge.
Speaker: And it's going to be in Typhoon Lagoon coming 2027. It's interesting. It's interesting you're highlighting these things. Some of these are not until next year. Yeah. Weird. Yeah. little weird. ah Then peaches and cream. ah Peach puree blended with lemon, vanilla, and oat milk topped with sweet cream cold foam. Nice. right Yeah.
Speaker: There's bunch places for that one. ah Backlags. Every park. yeah it's Yeah. This one's everywhere. You can find this at every park and Disney Springs and Blizzard Beach. Yeah, and then there's the Mango Heat Wave, which a frozen mango beverage blended with chili lime sauce.
Speaker: Which you can nowhere. but yeah This is at Disney Springs Magic Kingdom Animal Kingdom. so yeah It's funny because the previous one was like, there's all these places, and then Mango Heat Wave, it's like, me yeah there's three. You get like three places. Get it from there.
Speaker: Yeah. There's a couple of frozen shakes too. So there's a s'mores gelato milkshake, s'mores milkshake, Belgian chocolate, French vanilla gelato, toasted marshmallow, a chocolate bar, and a graham cracker over Connections.
Speaker: We found Tom's. Yep. Frank. Yeah. That looks better than the one I had at Magic Kingdom, ah I'll say. And this one's easy too because it's at Connections. Yeah. It's just right there. Very easy to acquire.
Speaker: And then there's a Steamboat Willie milkshake, ah blended hand-dipped cookies and cream ice cream topped with whipped cream, cookies and cream churros, a sugar cookie, and a cherry. This is at the Plaza, and it's got ah a nice little chocolate Steamboat Willie piece on it.
Speaker: yeah this Yeah, definitely. They're trying to do the black and white from Steve O'Willi in the drink. so That's good. mean, that's good. Yeah. yeah There's this also a maple, not pictured, maple pecan gelato milkshake, French gelato, maple syrup, caramel, and pecans.
Speaker: Or pecans, however you go and say that. Pecan, yeah. Whatever. Whatever works for you. So we have the Enchanted Grove of Lime Splash, which is... i think that's his first one.
Speaker: um Which is lemonade or limeade paired with cucumber and mint. So, okay, this was that one that... know Yeah, so this this was the same one they were offering at um Diamond Horseshoe, it looks like.
Speaker: Yeah. But they're also saying that you can get it in Epcot. Like, there's a couple places in Epcot. You can get Tusker House in Animal Kingdom, Jock Lindsay's, and Dockside Margaritas in Disney Springs.
Speaker: And Chanting Ember Lemonade. which is lemonade, strawberry, and hot honey. Yeah, again, the so these are, this is weird. Why are they separating these? Because these look like the same drinks that you can get at,
Speaker: I am so confused. are confused? look like the same ones that that we were looking at at Diamond Horseshoe, or two of them. Oh, yeah. I guess you're... Maybe they are. Yeah. Yeah. So, the Enchanted Grove Lime Splash and Lemonade are not just available at Diamond Horseshoe. You can find them in Disney Springs and Animal Kingdom.
Speaker: But then there's also this Royal Berry Spritzer, which is blueberry, blackberry, pomegranate, ah cold-pressed lime juice topped with... ah Copo Chico, blueberry, and hibiscus sparkling water at Cinderella Royal Table and Rosencrown Dining in Epcot. That's some weird choices. It is weird, yeah. Like, like I get Cinderella's Royal Table, you know, but then why Rosencrown?
Speaker: I don't know. I guess maybe they're trying to draw that, like, like a... it's both kind of or well Rosencrown's a pub it's not like super fancy like Cinderella's royal table but yeah I don't know i don't know I just their choices are so weird There's probably some sort of rhyme and reason to it, but there is. yeah Yeah. I think that's what's what's getting me is like I'm trying to see like some of these things I can see the pattern or I can see how they're offering them as like, hey, like this is like, you know, kind of fits with the the decor, the theming of the area. Some of them it's like, and we just kind of threw this to a bunch of places. And don't Yeah. Yeah. Pretty much.
Speaker: Yeah. Interesting, though. I i like this. i actually, um you know, I know we talked about a lot of good stuff at Food & Wine, but I like these little bite things that they're doing.
Speaker: Yeah, I the little things. Yeah. I'm very interested in, like, being able to find, like, something in Magic Kingdom that is not just, like, you know, the normal quick service stuff, right? like yeah and And hopefully that's kind of where, you know, maybe this is a pilot for them to, you know, offer more of that kind of stuff.
Speaker: And I just hope it doesn't turn into like having to do like secret menu hacks to like get the good stuff or like having to know like... Secret word? Yeah, right? Like like like that that's kind of what it feels like almost is it's like you have to know to to figure figure out where the good food is. Like I hope that they're they're clearly advertising these things or they expand them out that it's... And I know it like...
Speaker: This is the hard part. is It's like, you know, you know, there was the the thing about like, oh I can only find this this item in one place. But I like that. But also I like having options everywhere.
Speaker: So it's not that I want like the same item everywhere, but it's like give me things, but spread them out. Like don't I don't want to have to like only go to Magic Kingdom to find the good stuff.
Speaker: yeah Right. Yeah. So. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I like it though. yeah that was That was a good bookend to the show. Yeah, for sure. That was, ah I always enjoy talking about food. So even if we're not doing food time on it and these little, little bites. So works out what nicely. I'm, I need to go somewhere can get ribs from now.
Speaker: Too bad you're right here. I don't make you some. Well, yeah yeah. I mean, I can't do that though. That's too far. I mean, unfortunately you can't deliver to me by DoorDash. So I cannot, I cannot. Yeah.
Speaker: All right. i'll I'll figure out some reps, but in the meantime. In the meantime, let's wrap it up. Yeah.
