Is Milan's Success Tied to Oseman's Absence?

So Milan beat Napoli yet again. Is it safe to conclude now that Milan have Napoli's number or was this result or this defeat for Napoli simply because Victor Oseman was not playing? What do you think,

Napoli's Defeat: Lack of Depth or Missing Oseman?

Carlo?

I think a bit of both. I think that with Osseman, Napoli were the dominant team throughout almost all of this game. They dominated possession, territory, but apart from that huge chance for Karat Scalia in the first minute, it took them until the last five minutes before they created anything else clear cut, whereas Milan had three clear chances, big chances during the game. And it's because Napoli just lacked that cutting edge. They had no depth in behind. And I think Milan played a very smart game. They defended

Napoli were naive, they lost their heads. I still blame the Napoli fans for what they did 10 days ago with the protests. I think that's taken Napoli's season off track, so I blame the Napoli fans massively if they go out. But I think it's all down to Osman. If Osman can be back for the second leg, they have a chance of turning this round. If he's missing the second leg, I think Milan go through.

Inter look like they are going through. They won 2-0 in Lisbon. Nima, tell me, why is Simonian Zaghi so good in the cups, but underperformed so much in Serie A?

I think it's more got to do with the makeup of inter-squad in terms of the age. I think it's an old squad. It's around the starting lineup as an average age of around 30 years. And I think when you have teams like that, they usually struggle to get motivated and deliver consistently in the league whilst in the big games in the league and also in Europe. That's when they turn up.

Champions League: A Motivator for Inter's Veterans

They look at that draw and they say, this is probably the best chance some of us will ever have to reach the Champions League final, although the semifinal even, or even to win it, which is very unlikely. But that's how I think they see it. And I think that's why they themselves fire themselves up more than Inzaghi failing to fire them up.
