Speaker: Hey, everybody, welcome to the Matt Jarreau Show.
Speaker: It is I, Matt Jarreau, here for another podcast.
Speaker: This is episode number six.
Speaker: We've got through five episodes, which is amazing.
Speaker: Wasn't sure I was going to get to this point, you know, and I am here.
Speaker: I am.
Speaker: And I just want to thank everybody who's been watching every episode, listening every episode, especially the people, the few people have actually reached out to me and given me feedback and things.
Speaker: I appreciate it.
Speaker: It is good to get some interaction from other people on something that I'm really starting to enjoy and hopefully get better at as well.
Speaker: For those wondering, I do have Penelope behind me.
Speaker: She's sleeping right now.
Speaker: Oscar is off to the side this way.
Speaker: He just got a new toy.
Speaker: It's a tire.
Speaker: Big tire about the size of my head, and it's got a rope that goes through it.
Speaker: So there's like a rope on each end of it and then a rope in the going through the middle.
Speaker: But it's a one rope and he loves it.
Speaker: He's he's been going hand with it this morning.
Speaker: I had to cut off a lot of strings on it because he keeps ripping them out.
Speaker: And then I just find like strings throughout the house.
Speaker: So that's it's kind of a bit of progress, but it's entertaining him and he's enjoying it.
Speaker: So that's what matters.
Speaker: But speaking of Oscar and Penny,
Speaker: I had a crazy effing morning today.
Speaker: I so with my.
Speaker: We're just going to get all the details out there because fuck it.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: I told you guys last week that I got a new job.
Speaker: I'm just going to say what the job is.
Speaker: I'm working at a dispensary and a marijuana dispensary and.
Speaker: my hours are evening shifts right now.
Speaker: It's a 24 hour place.
Speaker: So I'm working like two to 10, four to midnight type stuff.
Speaker: And so I, uh, with my sleep schedule being like that, I sleep in when a lot of people are getting up and starting their day.
Speaker: I'm not getting up until like around 10 30 to 11 o'clock, 11 30 nowadays.
Speaker: So anyways, um, I get home late last night.
Speaker: like a little after 10 o'clock, take the dogs outside because they're waiting for me to come home so they can go potty.
Speaker: Both these sweet beagles.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Go out there.
Speaker: I'm just doing my business.
Speaker: I'm looking around.
Speaker: My wife has already gone to bed.
Speaker: I've told her good night.
Speaker: I'm looking, I'm looking out across the backyard and I, I see this giant gaping hole in our fence, our backyard fence at the back of the house.
Speaker: And I,
Speaker: I'm like, OK, what the heck?
Speaker: And instantly I had a flashback to when I was living in an apartment with my friend Nate and we were both in my bedroom just chilling.
Speaker: And it was late at night and we hear a loud bang.
Speaker: We go outside and a car had driven through the brick wall.
Speaker: about the exact same size as this hole through my fence.
Speaker: And so instantly I had like a flashback to like people busting through a wall to hit my where I was living, basically, because I guess I've been through two of those situations.
Speaker: But this one's a little different because there was no car coming through.
Speaker: There were work vehicles, though, in the backyard adjacent to ours.
Speaker: So directly behind our house, there's another backyard and a house facing the opposite direction.
Speaker: And in that backyard, there were two white like city trucks for city of Glenpool, where I live.
Speaker: And I'm like, OK, this is just so strange.
Speaker: I know that they had been wanting to replace a light pole, so I'm guessing they had gone.
Speaker: And and there's a light pole that goes directly in the middle of my fence.
Speaker: They had gone and taken a section of my fence out.
Speaker: I'm going back there to try and find it.
Speaker: I call my wife, too.
Speaker: I'm like.
Speaker: babe, I don't know what the hell's going on.
Speaker: Like this shit's all fucked up back here.
Speaker: And she's like sleepy and tired trying to wake up.
Speaker: I find behind our shed the section of fence.
Speaker: They basically, I don't know if they cut it out of there.
Speaker: It was late at night.
Speaker: Um, and they moved it over or like, if it just comes out, unscrewed it, I don't know.
Speaker: Um, and then I'm like, whatever.
Speaker: I'll let the apartment people know and I'll go to bed.
Speaker: I took pictures.
Speaker: I sent them all the photos.
Speaker: Wake up in the morning and my house has no power.
Speaker: And I can hear them outside working on the pole.
Speaker: And I'm like, what?
Speaker: Those guys, not only did they not talk to me about any of this, partially because I was at work, but they didn't leave a note or anything.
Speaker: They freaking cut the power of my house while I was asleep at about nine something.
Speaker: And so I wake up.
Speaker: And I hear them with their their trucks are on.
Speaker: They've actually moved one of the trucks partially into my yard, my backyard, where the hole is.
Speaker: And they've got a pole laying down in my backyard when I look out there.
Speaker: They got a new one already in the ground.
Speaker: They're trying to attach it and get everything going.
Speaker: I go out there and look at them.
Speaker: I take a picture from my wife and also just let them know that, like, hey, I see you guys.
Speaker: I know you're here in my backyard and you guys never talk to me, which they didn't seem to give a rat's ass about that.
Speaker: And then after a little while, like I'm like, well, I got to like keep going my day.
Speaker: Like I can't just, you know, I got dogs that need to go potty.
Speaker: Problem is they're both
Speaker: easily distracted by people, things, sounds.
Speaker: So two city trucks in my backyard working on a bowl with like four men.
Speaker: That is extremely distracting for them.
Speaker: So it took me about an hour to just get them to go outside.
Speaker: I had to take them one at a time because normally I could take Oscar out there on a leash, let Penny just run free, no leash.
Speaker: But that wasn't an option because there was a giant hole and I didn't want her to run away or anything like that.
Speaker: So
Speaker: kind of put everything behind plus i wanted to do this freaking podcast and the power was out so i was like what the my morning is so screwed um then power came back on and i was like okay we can salvage this and uh i took some time made my notes from my podcast today or and everything and then uh got myself a dr pepper which i forgot to open it's going
Speaker: Nectar of the gods.
Speaker: And I was like, let's do this.
Speaker: I don't hear them back there.
Speaker: I'm assuming they're cleaning up.
Speaker: I saw they at least removed the pole that they knocked down.
Speaker: I'm praying they're going to put the fence back.
Speaker: I realize there's a good chance they won't.
Speaker: Just based on my previous experience with these type of workers, they usually come in, they do their job that the city required of them, and then all that extra stuff, they just kind of like leave it behind.
Speaker: So we'll see if I'm going to be doing some fence repair work or if the apartment people will come in and just do it.
Speaker: That'd be even better for me personally.
Speaker: Um, I'm no, I don't know, but yeah, crazy freaking morning for me.
Speaker: Um,
Speaker: So, yeah, let's get into the podcast episode.
Speaker: Now that we've gotten into that whole little introduction about what the fuck is going on with me.
Speaker: Jersey talk.
Speaker: So I'm in this fantasy football league.
Speaker: We're 0-3, by the way.
Speaker: One in three is what we're hoping for next week.
Speaker: We'll see what happens that we, this week was our closest, I think, win, uh, closest to winning.
Speaker: So, um, and my trades did make my team better.
Speaker: So we'll, we'll talk more about that later, but, um,
Speaker: interesting question was brought up in this fantasy football group chat they were discussing whether or not grown men should wear um jerseys and I've heard this trope before uh from basketball people people who who are like I've even heard it on like actual game where you're watching the game and the announcer makes fun of people wearing jerseys in the stands um
Speaker: Sure.
Speaker: You know, you see a guy wearing a jersey that's maybe two sizes too small and it looks awkward on him.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: But.
Speaker: Sorry, I'm about to get into my opinion on it, and I haven't even finished telling you guys everything about the idea.
Speaker: The so so some people think that might be embarrassing, maybe because it looks like a child shirt, child's type.
Speaker: outfit.
Speaker: But there's also like this argument that you're wearing another man's name on your back.
Speaker: And that was so stupid.
Speaker: And I'd like to credit my friend Brandon for debunking that argument, pointing out that people wear name brand clothing all the time, like Ralph Lauren.
Speaker: Are we supposed to be feeling weird about that, too?
Speaker: That shit's just stupid.
Speaker: I mean, what about when someone wears a fucking Captain America shirt or a fucking Spider-Man?
Speaker: I mean, it's just like that's just the stupidest argument I've ever heard.
Speaker: So and also like it just shows that you're you're probably insecure about that, about having another man's name on your back.
Speaker: So sounds more like a personal issue to me.
Speaker: Jerseys are for fun, man.
Speaker: They're for fun.
Speaker: They're for celebrating your team.
Speaker: It's the closest you're ever going to get to being in a, and basically everyone in the world's case to being a professional athlete is by owning a Jersey from the team with the name of an actual player.
Speaker: And then, um, we were discussing like whether or not you could even use your own name.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: You can use your own name because again, like that literally that Jersey may never have that last name unless you do that.
Speaker: And also like,
Speaker: Who gives a shit, man?
Speaker: Like it's your team.
Speaker: Support your team.
Speaker: Have fun supporting your team.
Speaker: If you feel like superstitious wise, you're helping your team by wearing that jersey, wear the jersey.
Speaker: If you feel like it makes you look badass because you've got a jersey with your own name on it,
Speaker: Fuck it.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Yes, you are badass.
Speaker: And it's because you believe you're badass.
Speaker: I feel bad for anyone who thinks otherwise.
Speaker: I feel bad because you're for one, you're not having as much fun as these people.
Speaker: Two, you probably can't afford the custom jersey.
Speaker: That's probably why you're mad about it.
Speaker: And three, like sounds like you're not very fun at a party, dude.
Speaker: Like, come on.
Speaker: Now, I know some people kind of maybe had this opinion because that was like the popular thing and they're just going with it.
Speaker: Maybe they didn't really think about it.
Speaker: And they're and they're not like an unfun person or a person who can't afford things or anything like that.
Speaker: They're just going with what everybody else is saying.
Speaker: And that shit is so high school, man.
Speaker: Just stop.
Speaker: Stop going with what everyone else is doing.
Speaker: Be yourself.
Speaker: Don't give a fuck about what other people think and just enjoy yourself.
Speaker: One of the best things that I think about this podcast and my wife tells me this.
Speaker: So and that's obviously a biased source, but who cares?
Speaker: is that when I do this podcast, she says that I talk like it's a conversation.
Speaker: And I try to do that.
Speaker: I try to talk to you guys like exactly how I would talk to anybody.
Speaker: You think I swear too much?
Speaker: Probably don't hear how I talk very much because I actually swear a lot, like way more than I talk than I swear on here.
Speaker: Do I get in little asides and go in random places with my like my head?
Speaker: Yes, I do.
Speaker: But I just don't I don't care that it's different or not exactly what people are hoping for.
Speaker: I just saw one of the construction people walk by.
Speaker: So that was kind of wild.
Speaker: uh may have to pause the podcast he didn't even notice me so we're all good uh but anyways yeah so uh like i said not caring about what you're doing and being proud so that's what i'm gonna do if he walks by uh i was just surprised because i wasn't expecting that um yeah so if uh you ever see anyone making fun of somebody for wearing a jersey like that just tell them to stop being a hater
Speaker: Stop being a hater and go get their own damn jersey and let them experience how freaking awesome it can be to wear a badass jersey from your favorite team.
Speaker: Next thing I want to talk about.
Speaker: Deion Sanders and the University of Colorado Buffaloes, they are three and one.
Speaker: They just lost this last weekend to Oregon.
Speaker: Oregon was a much better team.
Speaker: Clearly you saw the score.
Speaker: I think it was like 42, seven or something, 42, six, 42, zero.
Speaker: I can't remember something like that at the end of the game.
Speaker: But that's not what I want to talk about.
Speaker: I want to talk about how people are treating and reacting to Deion Sanders.
Speaker: It's,
Speaker: interesting and strange.
Speaker: So I see people on the Internet.
Speaker: I see people in group chats that I'm in, people I talk to when I bring up Deon Sanders.
Speaker: Most of the time I'm brought like surprisingly to me, surprisingly, people don't seem to like it.
Speaker: They don't seem to like him wearing sunglasses during his press conference and a hat.
Speaker: And when he's on the sideline, they don't seem to like that he overhypes.
Speaker: I shouldn't say overhypes that he hypes up his kids and his team.
Speaker: They don't seem to like that.
Speaker: They get attention from like rappers and they get in I.L.
Speaker: deals and he's recruiting better and taking everybody from one school to the next.
Speaker: People just nitpicking and finding a thousand different things.
Speaker: But no one
Speaker: No one, I don't think people are really appreciating how amazing this is.
Speaker: We have a former NFL player, Hall of Fame NFL player, so like top level IQ NFL player, not just any guy, doing coaching, head coaching without basically with very little experience prior and being successful at it.
Speaker: And sure, maybe he's not the most like,
Speaker: You know, he's not the 49ers head coach Shanahan.
Speaker: He's not our Sean McVay.
Speaker: He's not some kind of offensive minded guru.
Speaker: He's also not that crazy of a defensive minded.
Speaker: Like they don't they don't come out with stuff that you've never seen before.
Speaker: That's given quarterbacks nightmares and things.
Speaker: But what he does do is he inspires every single fucking kid on his team and he makes them all play hard and he makes them all feel cared about.
Speaker: How many coaches in the in college division one right now only care about their top 30 guys and the rest of the guys are just kind of on the team?
Speaker: Probably 70 to 80 percent of them.
Speaker: I think.
Speaker: In my experience of looking at.
Speaker: the way coaches talk about their players, you don't see very many guys talk about their players like they're their sons.
Speaker: And maybe Deion having his actual son on the team is kind of helping this along.
Speaker: And maybe when Shadur is gone, his son, Shadur Sanders, maybe when he's gone to the NFL or whatever he does, maybe his attitude will be different.
Speaker: But I doubt it.
Speaker: It just seems like genuine pride.
Speaker: I wish the head coach of my favorite college football team came off as genuine and is caring about his own actual players.
Speaker: Because he doesn't best head coach in our football league.
Speaker: Sorry, best team in our football league right now.
Speaker: Oh, you their head coach.
Speaker: He does.
Speaker: He does come off as a guy who cares about all their players.
Speaker: And I think that when OU seemed like they were going to be not as good at recruiting, they've actually been better than what people expected when considering losing Lincoln Riley.
Speaker: The sorry construction guy walked by again, distracted me again.
Speaker: the Lincoln Riley was recruiting insanely well, insanely well because he was personable and because he was so damn skilled.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: Venables.
Speaker: Not as skilled as Lincoln Riley, but still able to recruit because.
Speaker: You know, he when he talks about the guys on the OU football team, he actually sounds like he gives a rat's ass about him.
Speaker: And Deion Sanders comes off the same way.
Speaker: Not every football coach in the NFL comes off that way.
Speaker: especially in the NFL.
Speaker: Um, so it's just, it's, it's amazing.
Speaker: And I just think people aren't appreciating how cool it is and like how he's able to get, like, basically he has an advantage over recruiting over anyone else.
Speaker: Not just the fact that he's like a proven NFL star.
Speaker: He could probably get you drafted, but he's, he's going to treat you like he's one of your own.
Speaker: He's one of his own kids, like when he gets you.
Speaker: So, um,
Speaker: I think when you're hating on Deion Sanders, you come off as someone who doesn't like kids having fun.
Speaker: You come off as someone who doesn't like it when someone is confident in themselves or doing something different.
Speaker: And then lastly, like the worst part of it is like, I think some people just don't like the fact that he's a blackhead coach and he's successful in certain ways and that he's getting attention.
Speaker: And that's like the worst side of it.
Speaker: But yeah,
Speaker: Can't accuse anybody of those things because they're all going to deny it.
Speaker: They're all going to say no.
Speaker: It's because he's so cocky and stuff like that.
Speaker: But that's not how it comes off.
Speaker: Just letting you know.
Speaker: Not how it comes off.
Speaker: Talking about football.
Speaker: Let's move on in to NFL week three going into week four.
Speaker: Some cool hand stuff I just did there.
Speaker: Anyways, the first thing I want to talk about.
Speaker: Besides the way the NFL week turned out.
Speaker: is this news bit of news Colin Kaepernick reaching out to the New York Jets for basically a spot on the practice squad I believe is what he was asking for he wrote a letter to I think his name is Joe Douglas the GM
Speaker: of the jets talked about how he understands the position they're in that he still trains Monday through Friday, 5am to 8am, um, conditioning drills, things like that.
Speaker: He's ready to go and wants to offer his services to the team.
Speaker: Um,
Speaker: Found it very interesting.
Speaker: It was a, you know, it's like every year, it seems like every year, every other season, it seems like Colin gets in the news somehow.
Speaker: And it's always, you know, we got a tryout going on or someone said they were going to talk to him or someone said,
Speaker: They should definitely sign this guy.
Speaker: I don't know why he's not signed, even though we're not signing to our team.
Speaker: Um, there's it's, it's just like weird and interesting and paradoxical because, uh, you've got this guy who is a dual threat quarterback has experience has literally played in a Superbowl, um, and played pretty well in the Superbowl.
Speaker: Not like had a, you know, nothing like the Peyton Manning performance against Seattle, you know?
Speaker: Um,
Speaker: Has has or the another good example, the Cam Newton performance against Peyton Manning, but nothing like that.
Speaker: You know, he was still very good and basically.
Speaker: Started taking a social stand, as we all know, and was blackballed by the league.
Speaker: He's 35 now, if you didn't know.
Speaker: So that's pretty old for the NFL.
Speaker: It's not too old for a backup, though, not too old for a practice squad quarterback.
Speaker: And there are starters in the NFL older than that.
Speaker: But we all know that
Speaker: This train has kind of passed.
Speaker: I mean, I would be extremely surprised to see something like that change.
Speaker: It would have to be someone who was like actually friends.
Speaker: I think someone who actually cared about Colin Kaepernick and believed in him to bring him in because of the way the ownership treats it and how none of the GM seem to be interested or coaches.
Speaker: It's really interesting because the same team that he's trying to get onto had for like the last couple of years, um, a quarterback, even older than Kaepernick.
Speaker: Um, they had Joe Flacco.
Speaker: He's a free agent right now.
Speaker: And he's actually still hoping to get on an NFL team too.
Speaker: He's really not doing anything different than Colin Kaepernick and letting people know he's available.
Speaker: And he's 38.
Speaker: He's,
Speaker: three years older played in the same super bowl as Colin Kaepernick won the super bowl, but still it's, um, interesting to see, you know, I, I have always hoped that he would get back in the league and on another team somewhere and actually get an opportunity to, um, come back and everything, but, um, no one's given it to him.
Speaker: There was certainly times where Dallas could have done it when we were going through backups.
Speaker: And, uh,
Speaker: It just sucks because it's just another reminder, unfortunately, that the NFL did this guy wrong.
Speaker: And I also know he won a settlement.
Speaker: I know he's got a lot of money.
Speaker: I know he's still making money.
Speaker: I know he's working with organizations and all that stuff, but...
Speaker: Just try to put it in your own perspective.
Speaker: Imagine you got your dream job, okay?
Speaker: You got your dream job, whatever it is.
Speaker: You're doing your dream job.
Speaker: Someone you care about, someone you love is being mistreated and no one's doing anything about it.
Speaker: But you're not just at your dream job, but you're the best, like one of the best at your dream job.
Speaker: So everyone's really paying close attention to you.
Speaker: So you decide to speak up about someone you care about being mistreated and they blackball you from your dream job.
Speaker: If you don't know what blackball means, it means they don't allow you to come back.
Speaker: No, no entry permitted.
Speaker: That I that would be terrible.
Speaker: I'd be super depressed all the time, you know, more than I already get if something like that happened to me.
Speaker: I can't imagine.
Speaker: So that's how I can have sympathy for him, even though he's a millionaire and everything.
Speaker: um speaking more though let's go a little bit uh forward into this nfl talk um a little bit off of kind of a sadder topic there but still sad but not as sad uh cowboys lose to the arizona cardinals disappointing game um
Speaker: Hard to say if it's because we don't have Trayvon Diggs anymore.
Speaker: If you don't know, he hurt himself in practice, tore his ACL out for the season.
Speaker: The defense definitely was a little different.
Speaker: It was hard to say, though, that it was really from.
Speaker: Really from Diggs not being there because, you know, Diggs isn't the guy who.
Speaker: It's stopping the run game and we couldn't stop Arizona's run game.
Speaker: Dobbs was brilliant for like what he is.
Speaker: We couldn't get, we couldn't make him uncomfortable enough.
Speaker: We couldn't rattle him enough and we should have been able to with how great our defensive line is.
Speaker: We had some bad penalties.
Speaker: Dak played pretty well.
Speaker: I'm not really upset about DACA.
Speaker: Honestly, I think.
Speaker: I think DAC's improving and getting better with each game, and I think that our offense is still finding itself like.
Speaker: You know, people don't people may not realize this offensive coordinator is Brian Schottenheimer.
Speaker: He's been involved with the team prior to this, but it's still a new OC and you were in Kellen Moore system prior to that.
Speaker: And now you got Brian's I'm calling the plays.
Speaker: It's Mike McCarthy calling plays.
Speaker: So they're still trying to get the finishing touches on offense to where we stop getting field goals.
Speaker: We start getting more touchdowns.
Speaker: So disappointing.
Speaker: Definitely left a taste in my mouth of like, this is the same old team that I watch every season.
Speaker: Hopefully not.
Speaker: We'll see.
Speaker: The defense I thought was legit this year, but I don't know.
Speaker: The fact that we couldn't get to that offense and disrupt it more.
Speaker: It's disappointing.
Speaker: All I can say is thank God we have Stephon Gilmore because without Gilmore, our corners would be looking real rough.
Speaker: really rough.
Speaker: Derron Blaine is nice, but not having digs, that bites.
Speaker: And it's not just his talent.
Speaker: It's also his leadership.
Speaker: He's one of the main leaders on our team.
Speaker: So it bites.
Speaker: The other interesting thing that happened in the NFL was the Travis Kelsey, Taylor Swift thing.
Speaker: Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift seem to be in a relationship or they're maybe doing it for PR or I don't know, but
Speaker: It got a lot, like a lot of attention.
Speaker: And from what I know, Travis Kelsey's jersey numbers went like way, way up after that game.
Speaker: And it's attributed to the Taylor Swift sales.
Speaker: So if you are a NFL player,
Speaker: who has a little bit of clout.
Speaker: My recommendation to you, if you're single, is to get with a pop star because that will get you hella clout.
Speaker: I've been seeing all kinds of TikTok videos and funny shit about the NFL coming from the Swifties.
Speaker: Like them trying to explain the NFL to each other and like some of them hate Travis Kelsey.
Speaker: We've even seen some stuff about his ex-girlfriend saying that Taylor Swift can't trust him.
Speaker: It's interesting.
Speaker: We haven't really had, I feel like,
Speaker: In my opinion, I really had drama like this since like Aaron Rodgers breakup or breakups, you know, or since the Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson thing or since.
Speaker: Jimmy Garoppolo and his porn star or Tom Brady and his divorce.
Speaker: I mean, this is by far like the most interesting and not bad news relationship news that we've gotten in quite a while in the NFL.
Speaker: So, yeah, cool.
Speaker: We'll see what happens.
Speaker: It'll be interesting if it turns into being like a terrible breakup.
Speaker: Taylor Swift writes a crazy song about it.
Speaker: Chiefs go to the Super Bowl.
Speaker: Usher's performing.
Speaker: Usher brings out Taylor Swift on stage, sings the song.
Speaker: Travis Kelsey has an amazing game in the second half in response.
Speaker: I don't know.
Speaker: That might not happen, but I'm just, you know, be interesting.
Speaker: Talking about the NFL, week three to week four, though, I did pull up the schedule for week four.
Speaker: I want to go through it very quickly here.
Speaker: identify Dallas's game.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: I see.
Speaker: All right.
Speaker: So Atlanta, Jacksonville, this is going to be, we're going to, or sorry, we're going to speed run this going top to down.
Speaker: Detroit at Green Bay.
Speaker: Detroit Lions definitely been better this season.
Speaker: Have a nice run game against Green Bay who have had trouble finishing their stuff.
Speaker: And Jordan Love has been impressive, but not like what we want to see.
Speaker: This is not me speedrunning this at all, by the way.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Detroit's on the road, but...
Speaker: I'm going to take Green Bay to win at home.
Speaker: They've looked pretty good.
Speaker: I think Detroit has some issues.
Speaker: I don't think they're quite ready to go into Green Bay and win.
Speaker: So next, I have Atlanta, Jacksonville.
Speaker: I see Jacksonville winning this game at home.
Speaker: They are a good team.
Speaker: They have a good quarterback.
Speaker: Hold on a second.
Speaker: The dog is being bad.
Speaker: I will have to pause for a moment.
Speaker: Sorry about that.
Speaker: I don't know if you guys could hear it, but he was scratching on the door and it was driving me insane.
Speaker: Anyways, yeah, Jacksonville, Atlanta.
Speaker: Atlanta is still a young team.
Speaker: I don't see them winning on the road.
Speaker: Oh, shoot.
Speaker: You know what?
Speaker: This is the Wembley Stadium London game.
Speaker: Jacksonville is definitely winning this game.
Speaker: It's a home away from home game and they're used to this stuff.
Speaker: They're going to win this game easily.
Speaker: Hands down.
Speaker: Buffalo, Miami.
Speaker: I want to see this game probably the most so far from what I'm seeing.
Speaker: Miami is definitely at the top of the league.
Speaker: It would be really interesting to see if they could trounce Buffalo in Buffalo, Buffalo back on their game after winning last week.
Speaker: I see Miami winning this though, after dropping 70 points on Denver, speaking of Denver, Denver going against Chicago, Chicago,
Speaker: Uh, and Denver both bad.
Speaker: This is a great opportunity for two bad teams to like for one of them to get their season back on track and get straightened out here.
Speaker: Uh, could see this really going either way.
Speaker: I'm going to give the edge though to Denver.
Speaker: I think losing by 50 points would definitely put a fire under your butt.
Speaker: So I'm going to say Denver wins on the road to Baltimore, Cleveland.
Speaker: Uh, let's take Baltimore in this game.
Speaker: Cleveland, uh,
Speaker: Good performance last week from Sean Watson.
Speaker: If you don't count him throwing the ball backwards and during his sack or whatever, the I think he still finished with over 250 yards, like around 280 or something like that, and h ad a good completion percentage.
Speaker: They're going against a good offense in Baltimore.
Speaker: Lamar Jackson is on his shit.
Speaker: And I like the Ravens this year quite a bit.
Speaker: I'm going to take the Ravens to win this in Cleveland.
Speaker: They don't know what's coming for them.
Speaker: Cincinnati at Tennessee.
Speaker: Let's see.
Speaker: Cincinnati is going to win that.
Speaker: I psych.
Speaker: I don't know.
Speaker: See, both teams have looked like really bad.
Speaker: Cincinnati won last week against the Rams, but they're
Speaker: They it was hard and ugly and Tennessee's only had hard and ugly games to actually I think I am going to take Cincinnati.
Speaker: They seem to be getting back on track.
Speaker: So you know what?
Speaker: Yeah, Bengals win this game.
Speaker: Tennessee kind of just waiting for them to let will love us play at this point.
Speaker: Uh, sorry, Tannehill, Los Angeles Rams after a tough loss to the Indianapolis Colts last week.
Speaker: This is going to be, I think the last week without Cooper cup, or he comes in week six.
Speaker: I think it's week five though.
Speaker: So week four will be the last week without Cooper cup.
Speaker: They struggled to, uh, score on offense.
Speaker: Defense played amazing against Cincinnati going against the Colts.
Speaker: Uh, don't think Anthony Richardson, if he is playing off double check on that, um, because of his injuries here recently.
Speaker: But if he is playing, I don't expect him to win.
Speaker: If Gardner Minshew is playing, I still don't expect him to win.
Speaker: Aaron Donald still plays for the Los Angeles Rams.
Speaker: He will rain hell on both of those guys.
Speaker: So let's see Rams win that one.
Speaker: We're halfway through.
Speaker: Let's keep going.
Speaker: Tampa Bay, New Orleans.
Speaker: Saints are getting Alvin Kamara back.
Speaker: Tampa Bay is going to be coming off of a bounce back, hopefully, where they lost their first game last week against a good team in the Eagles.
Speaker: The Tampa Bay, New Orleans games are always good because the rivalry games we used to used to be like a nice Tom Brady versus the great Saints defense type thing.
Speaker: Now we're in a new era for both teams.
Speaker: I think I like the Saints to win this one and Tampa Bay to lose.
Speaker: sorry baker mayfield i just think that your team is going to be a little limited and usually after one loss a couple losses follow for you uh minis washington philadelphia let's take philly in this they're clearly um the best or second best team in the nfc right now um can't argue against that at all they're gonna probably beat the crap out of this washington team maybe washington can surprise them with a good punch in the mouth from the defense but
Speaker: Their offense has way too many interceptions from Sam Howell, and that will probably just continue.
Speaker: The Minnesota Vikings versus Carolina Panthers.
Speaker: Minnesota kind of...
Speaker: you know, that's the one team I probably have watched the least this year.
Speaker: I know that Justin Jefferson has been balling out and Kirk cousins has had some good moments.
Speaker: Um, but going up against, um, this Carolina team, that's going to be, I think starting Andy Dalton, if not Bryce young.
Speaker: Um, but I think Andy Dalton again, I think Minnesota should win this handedly, even though it is in Carolina, they are the better team.
Speaker: Um, so yeah, Minnesota is going to win that game.
Speaker: Pittsburgh, Houston.
Speaker: I'm taking, uh,
Speaker: Uh, Pittsburgh, uh, Houston's got the younger quarterback.
Speaker: He's going to be going against a really great defense in Pittsburgh.
Speaker: Don't love that for him.
Speaker: Um, it is in Houston, but I don't think that'll really make a difference.
Speaker: Las Vegas, uh, Raiders versus Los Angeles chargers.
Speaker: Let's take the chargers in that one.
Speaker: Herbert's been a monster Keenan Allen, even more.
Speaker: So Brandon Staley's coaching for his life right now.
Speaker: And, uh, Jimmy Garoppolo's team has looked terrible.
Speaker: So I think that's just going to continue on New England versus Dallas.
Speaker: This will be a really interesting game.
Speaker: I think potentially extremely low scoring even.
Speaker: We'll see what kind of happens.
Speaker: But Gilmore will get to try to play against his former coach.
Speaker: in Bill Belichick and Dallas historically is terrible against New England, especially when they had Tom Brady.
Speaker: So we're definitely wanting to win this game very badly, but I just don't love my chances because this is just how things go with Dallas.
Speaker: So with going against New England specifically, New England's not necessarily a good team this year.
Speaker: They don't necessarily have a good offense.
Speaker: They don't necessarily have a good defense, but they still have that coach and that's all they need to beat us basically.
Speaker: But I will still take Dallas to win a close one at home.
Speaker: Arizona against San Francisco in San Francisco.
Speaker: 49ers might be the best team in the league, probably the best team in the NFC.
Speaker: Christian McCaffrey, Debo Samuel, Brock Purdy, Kurt, not Kurt Warner.
Speaker: His last name is Warner, the linebacker.
Speaker: I can't remember his first name for some reason.
Speaker: They also have Bosa.
Speaker: They just have a bunch of guys on that team that are really good.
Speaker: And Shanahan, the coach, leading them.
Speaker: So let's take them to beat Arizona, even though they got the impressive win over Dallas the previous week.
Speaker: New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker: Should be a wash.
Speaker: Jets should get destroyed.
Speaker: It's a Sunday night game, which is disappointing, but they were expecting Aaron Rodgers to be playing.
Speaker: So that's why.
Speaker: And then the Monday night game, last game of the week will be Seattle at New York.
Speaker: New York is going to be fiending for a win.
Speaker: They really need to get a win.
Speaker: And Seattle at the same time.
Speaker: I think New York has more talent on the team, but they also seem to be in a little bit more disarray than Seattle.
Speaker: But they are at home.
Speaker: Day Bowl is a good coach.
Speaker: I'm going to say New York's going to pull this one out at home on Monday night football.
Speaker: That is the NFL week four schedule.
Speaker: We just went through.
Speaker: Good job, guys.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Good job.
Speaker: We got through it.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Let's move on to NBA.
Speaker: Before I do that, I received a text message from my wife saying she tried to call me.
Speaker: I'm texting her right now.
Speaker: I'm podcasting RN.
Speaker: And this will be in the recording.
Speaker: LOL.
Speaker: So that happened a little bit earlier during when I was going through all the scores, but I was on a roll, so I didn't want to stop and we're going to keep going and then I'll, I'll, I'll call her after.
Speaker: But, uh,
Speaker: OKC hype coming across mainstream media.
Speaker: Yeah, we're going to talk about the NBA a little bit, specifically the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Speaker: I've been seeing stuff from... I've been seeing them get talked more about by Brian Windhorse.
Speaker: I've been seeing them get talked more about by... And his podcast, of course.
Speaker: And by Zach Lowe.
Speaker: And by Through the Wire, which is another basketball podcast I listen to.
Speaker: And by JJ Redick.
Speaker: And just...
Speaker: basketball Twitter as well.
Speaker: So the people are starting to take notice and remember that we've got all these guys coming up.
Speaker: There's a ton of talk about chat, but we'll get into it.
Speaker: Let's start off with though, what happened most recently, press, uh, Presti had a, a press conference, which I have not watched yet, but I will, cause I love watching his press conferences.
Speaker: It's probably one of my most favorite, um, interview sports interviews to watch.
Speaker: for the whole year is whenever he does a press conference.
Speaker: They're always super long, insanely interesting, very analytical about basketball, philosophical most of the time too about our team.
Speaker: And you just get all these great nuggets about your favorite team.
Speaker: So if they're the Thunder.
Speaker: I went through and I read a lot of the recap about it, mostly him talking about how they're excited because we've got three drafts now into this rebuild and how we have areas to improve on because we got lucky in different spots last year, last season, but we were still struggling under 500 teams.
Speaker: So obviously we can improve.
Speaker: Definitely talked about how
Speaker: Talked about the new stadium plans, which seem like they're going to pass and everything.
Speaker: Oklahoma City is going to be hopefully getting a new stadium and keeping the team for decades.
Speaker: And talking about how...
Speaker: SGA is probably going to be improved from playing for Canada and same thing for Giddy talked about how they love when they can play with different players because that gives them better experiences to make them better players and that they try to recreate that often in their own team by doing the different lineups.
Speaker: And I know that part of the reason they're doing the different lineups was just to see like I originally I assumed it was just to see different options, but I never considered the fact that you're basically giving these guys experience to play in all these different ways and facets so that they kind of are prepared to play any type of way with any type of player.
Speaker: Pretty cool.
Speaker: The.
Speaker: They also talked about Oladipo.
Speaker: I guess he is not going to be making the Thunder roster this year.
Speaker: He's not going to be attending training camp for the Thunder.
Speaker: So I know he's rehabbing an injury.
Speaker: I don't think he was going to be back from the injury until fall.
Speaker: And I think that's probably enough reason for the Thunder to basically not give away one of the few roster spots we have to him.
Speaker: And they're either going to trade him or probably waive him.
Speaker: And I'm guessing he'll get waived because he does have that rehab process to get through before other teams could possibly start looking at him to add him to, you know, he could still be a helpful player to a team.
Speaker: He was helpful to Miami.
Speaker: He played defense for them and scored.
Speaker: So there's, there's options there, but it doesn't look like it's going to be on the thunder.
Speaker: They also talked about how,
Speaker: Chet, this is basically going to be like his rookie season, his first season.
Speaker: I'm excited about that.
Speaker: The thing I'm most excited about to see with Chet is the defense and the effect that has on the team and on individual good defending players we have like Dort and Shea.
Speaker: Dort and Shea do a lot.
Speaker: They contest.
Speaker: They both get blocks.
Speaker: They both get steals.
Speaker: They both stay in front of their man like the best that they can do.
Speaker: Shea is not always the best at staying in front of his guy, but thanks to his length, he's really great at creating turnovers when you do get past him.
Speaker: But now, instead of them going past them and being confronted with Pokushevsky, JRE, or J. Will, or Kenrich Williams, they're going to have to face Chet Holmgren, seven foot tall, center.
Speaker: And they also talked about how Chet might play one position on one side of the floor and then another position on the other.
Speaker: So I'm thinking like, okay, so maybe we're going to have him in at center on defense.
Speaker: And then on offense, he'll have a minute forward, maybe.
Speaker: So interesting to think about.
Speaker: But yeah.
Speaker: And then they also talked about how they think J-Dub is going to be a future star.
Speaker: I think that too.
Speaker: You're looking at this team.
Speaker: We've got Shea, Giddy, J-Dub, Chet, and Dort.
Speaker: That's an amazing starting five right there.
Speaker: One of the best young starting fives in the league, if not the best young starting five.
Speaker: So it'll be exciting to watch.
Speaker: Going into a little more like broader NBA talk, I want to talk about the Damian Lillard trade a little bit.
Speaker: It's getting, it was getting very dry and very like not going anywhere, but things really picked up in the last week.
Speaker: We saw multiple teams say that they are interested, people talking about the different assets they could be offering.
Speaker: Basically, Miami has a lot more competition than they thought they were going to, but they're trying to act like they're not worried and that they were never going to be giving, like they weren't
Speaker: that interested basically I don't know apologize for the yawn just talking so much I'm just running out of oxygen
Speaker: Philadelphia, Chicago, Toronto, Clippers, Phoenix, Miami, maybe even Boston.
Speaker: All these teams are involved in this, these talks.
Speaker: Philadelphia clearly trying to get off James Harden and get what they can for him.
Speaker: Chicago not wanting to go into rebuild and still trying to add to this team.
Speaker: They've been told, or we've been seeing that they're interested in getting Damian Lillard.
Speaker: Toronto is very interested in getting Damian Lillard.
Speaker: I've seen trade packages off-reaching.
Speaker: Ugh.
Speaker: Oh, okay.
Speaker: Sorry.
Speaker: Said I had struggled to speak and then I needed to breathe like some air in and then I was yawning and it was like so many human issues there.
Speaker: What can I say guys?
Speaker: I'm human just like you.
Speaker: Toronto has OG and Anobi.
Speaker: That's what I was trying to say when I was saying offering.
Speaker: that's who they're, uh, they seem to be offering and maybe look looking to build around.
Speaker: I saw a crazy, um, insane NFL trade or not NFL NBA trade idea where, uh, Giannis and Dame both ended up in Toronto together.
Speaker: Um, because as I talked about last week, that Giannis doesn't seem to be super happy with Milwaukee.
Speaker: Um,
Speaker: The Clippers, they are also buyers still.
Speaker: They're still trying to add to the team.
Speaker: Phoenix, also still buyers.
Speaker: Also looking to get off of DeAndre Ayton.
Speaker: There could be some type of three-team trade involving DeAndre Ayton, Yusuf Nurkic, and Damian Lillard and some other team, possibly.
Speaker: And then Miami, we all know.
Speaker: Tyler Hero is basically on his way out of there.
Speaker: He's going to be on a different team at some point, it seems like.
Speaker: and they're still interested in Dame, whether or not they want to admit it.
Speaker: And then I've seen some people saying Boston's got everything they need.
Speaker: I've seen some people saying that Boston needs to be getting into this Damian Lillard thing.
Speaker: I don't know on that.
Speaker: That's just interesting to me.
Speaker: That is everything on the NBA that I'm going to say.
Speaker: Last thing we're going to talk about today.
Speaker: is what I always like to end my podcast with.
Speaker: And that's, uh, what the hell is going on with our freaking government and the UFOs and all that stuff.
Speaker: So, um, I thought I wouldn't have a lot to talk about, um, in regards to this, but I did come across something last night, um, before I went to bed.
Speaker: And this was very, very much so under the radar, which is why I really didn't notice it before.
Speaker: Um, the United States border and customs, um, agency, um,
Speaker: released 10 videos and 387 pages of news clippings and firsthand accounts in regards to phenomena.
Speaker: I explained phenomena.
Speaker: The most interesting video is an older video that comes from Puerto Rico, apparently, and it's an infrared.
Speaker: So it's black and white.
Speaker: And this object, it's moving over like land.
Speaker: It's going over some trees, getting down close to the ground, as you can see, and moving very quickly.
Speaker: They're trying to follow it.
Speaker: Eventually, it moves into the water.
Speaker: You kind of see it dip into the water, and then you can almost see it like it splits into two.
Speaker: Now, this isn't some, like, ancient aliens history channel video.
Speaker: This is a video from the U.S. government, from the U.S. Borders and Customs Agency.
Speaker: They released it.
Speaker: They basically gave no context with anything that they released and haven't really commented on any of it.
Speaker: All we know is that this is just stuff that...
Speaker: People have been trying to get out with FOIA requests for a while, and it was kind of just out of the blue and just released.
Speaker: I haven't really looked at the other videos yet.
Speaker: I'm going to get into that.
Speaker: I was just so fascinated with this Puerto Rico one and like what the thinking was behind this.
Speaker: Some people seem to think that maybe they're trying to expose us to things just by, you know, we'll just throw out 10 videos or something like that.
Speaker: We'll just let people watch it.
Speaker: We'll see if the public freaks out, how they handle it, and we'll just keep going from there.
Speaker: I think it's good.
Speaker: It's a good thing because number one, we got more information.
Speaker: The news clippings and firsthand accounts are pretty unintelligible from what I understand.
Speaker: They're mostly classified and blacked out on everything.
Speaker: So it's not like very helpful information.
Speaker: But the information is there.
Speaker: For like 60 years, the government told us these things weren't real.
Speaker: Now we have multiple facets.
Speaker: NASA, Pentagon, Department of Defense, White House, Border and Customs, acknowledging and creating either bills, programs, committees, hearings, secret hearings.
Speaker: Where there's smoke, there's fire, people.
Speaker: If you still think I'm crazy about this,
Speaker: Go back and watch the Congress hearing.
Speaker: Listen to the questions being asked by elected U.S. politicians, officials.
Speaker: Look at who is sitting behind David Grush.
Speaker: It's McCullough, the former inspector general of the intelligence community for President Obama.
Speaker: These people aren't
Speaker: QAnon, conspiracy, tin hat people.
Speaker: These are the good people in the government and the people who are like journalists trying to bring this to our attention so that, you know, whatever the grand scheme and plan is,
Speaker: that it happens on our terms.
Speaker: Because otherwise, the more people say that this is just, it's whatever, it's lights in the sky or whatever, the more we ignore it, the more the stigma is around, the more likely it is that in our lifetime, we will never know the answer.
Speaker: We will never know if they really had alien bodies, which speaking of which,
Speaker: The alien bodies at the Mexican hearing, which I thought were debunked, turns out the info I had that they were debunked was about the guy who brought them up, was about bodies that he brought up, but were about separate bodies that he had brought up that were proven to be debunked.
Speaker: These bodies actually have not been debunked yet.
Speaker: They're and they're being looked at by a contractor for NASA now.
Speaker: And they even talked about it on I think it was NBC with Neil deGrasse Tyson.
Speaker: And he was interested and actually smiled about it and didn't just treat it like how he's been treating all the other UFO stuff.
Speaker: He was happy that they brought something out and that they were allowing other people to look at it.
Speaker: I don't know.
Speaker: You know, I, I think alien bodies would be the biggest and most shocking development of anything we could find out.
Speaker: Um,
Speaker: And I personally already believe they exist.
Speaker: So it's not as shocking for me, but I know it would still be shocking again.
Speaker: And it would be extremely shocking for everyone else.
Speaker: It's just, it's crazy.
Speaker: It's crazy that this is happening.
Speaker: It's crazy we even know about this.
Speaker: I don't know.
Speaker: You guys ever think about like how in the Revolutionary War in America, you know,
Speaker: There are people who were born here fighting for their land to keep it from being owned by the British.
Speaker: And people fought and died in wars and were buried in unmarked graves or their bodies decomposed somewhere and was never found again.
Speaker: people got sick and people lost family members.
Speaker: And then we had a civil war where people fought and killed each other that were actually related to each other.
Speaker: And people lost their limbs and had to go through excruciating things.
Speaker: And there's been religious persecutions throughout life.
Speaker: And there's been genocides like the Holocaust and things that happened in Africa.
Speaker: And we've seen governments like in China and Russia oppress people.
Speaker: And
Speaker: We've seen our own government oppress people and we've seen like what the cartel will do to people.
Speaker: All these horrible things where people are going through these situations where it's basically like there is no tomorrow and none of it may fucking matter at like at all compared to this.
Speaker: I mean, how could how could literally literally how could America fighting for its independence in the 1700s be as important as the creation of humanity?
Speaker: I mean, that's basically just some shit humans decided to do because we got bored of fucking existing, right?
Speaker: Like, how could that... I guess, hopefully I'm getting across my point here is that our perspective is so limited on what we see.
Speaker: And we think things are so important to us.
Speaker: But in reality, they're not.
Speaker: And basically, I think we distract ourselves to make ourselves feel okay because...
Speaker: We are awake.
Speaker: We are walking around.
Speaker: We are talking without any explanation.
Speaker: You know, there's no like manual that they hit you with that comes from an actual creator.
Speaker: You know, they've got things like the Bible and the Torah and stuff like that.
Speaker: But again, those were written by humans.
Speaker: OK, it's not like we had the book come out of the sky and it was like, here you go.
Speaker: Follow this.
Speaker: It's still just basically humans telling other humans like what to do, how to live, how to cope, how to like not go crazy basically while you're a sentient on this planet.
Speaker: So my point of saying that is I think it's really, really, really hard for people to fathom things outside of the perspective of their own life.
Speaker: And so like I think about like I was in a position where I was in between jobs and I was so depressed and so upset about it.
Speaker: And I just felt like, you know, you can feel like your life is way off track and that you're you've you've plateaued and you've had a point where there's no never going to be a rise in your life again.
Speaker: But because of how it seems like our humanity and how we've
Speaker: we super focus on just our own perspective.
Speaker: You know, it's hard for me to like think about how there were people fighting in a war in this country multiple times where they thought there was going to be no tomorrow, like in the World War, World War I, World War II.
Speaker: People literally thought, you know, this could be the end of the world in those situations.
Speaker: And for some people fighting in an actual war and battle or someone living on the streets trying to just survive to find food, every single day is like the end of the world for them.
Speaker: And so to actually try to comprehend not just how minuscule and how important we are because of how many humans and living life forms have actually even existed on this planet ever, but to also think about the purpose of all of us, how we've changed over time, how we treat each other,
Speaker: how certain things have survived because of us and other things haven't.
Speaker: Like I talked about how before like dogs have been able to survive and had really good life basically because of humans.
Speaker: And then you look at something like the dinosaurs, which were reptiles that dominated this planet and it seemingly would dominate us.
Speaker: They're all gone.
Speaker: So it's, it's, and, and that's not necessarily because of us, right?
Speaker: We think that was because of a meteor, but we couldn't exist probably unless those dinosaurs were gone.
Speaker: So maybe it's all kind of on purpose.
Speaker: But the point is, is that it's, it's a, it's a giant idea.
Speaker: It's a huge expanding idea with lots of different ways it can go.
Speaker: And people just can't get out of their own minds and perspectives to think about anything like that.
Speaker: It seems.
Speaker: which makes it so hard and it makes it so much easier for anyone who actually knows what's going on to hide it.
Speaker: And then a guy like me, who's going to wonder what the hell's going on, he's never going to find out.
Speaker: And I'm going to go my whole life without knowing, just like everybody else before me who thought that
Speaker: They were really like in the shit and really like knew what the fuck was going on.
Speaker: But, you know, those motherfuckers hadn't seen a motorcycle before.
Speaker: They never played Flappy Bird on an iPhone before.
Speaker: They never saw trying to think of something recent.
Speaker: They never saw the Capitol riots.
Speaker: Well, maybe they did see something similar, but not caused by their own president or whatever.
Speaker: You know, it's just like, yeah.
Speaker: it's even now, like me talking about this, like my, my children, my grandchildren someday could be dealing with way crazier shit than I'm thinking of.
Speaker: We're talking about that.
Speaker: We could be dealing with alien races.
Speaker: We could be dealing with, uh, food rationing because we're out of resources on earth.
Speaker: I mean, it's,
Speaker: It's like when you really think about it, really put it in perspective, it's like, what really matters?
Speaker: What really matters?
Speaker: Okay, I'm here for this amount of time.
Speaker: I have this amount of time to figure out what I can, what I'm allowed to figure out, basically, and what I'm able to.
Speaker: And also to try to be as mentally capable as I can during the whole thing.
Speaker: You know, maybe I'm not going to be happy during the whole thing, but I got to be at least mentally capable.
Speaker: I got to be able to wake up, take care of myself, take care of my animals and my wife and go to work.
Speaker: And anyways, you know, guys, I'm getting off on a huge tangent here.
Speaker: My my main point is, is that.
Speaker: I get worried about whether or not we're ever going to learn what's going on and what's happening.
Speaker: But the only way we're ever going to find out is by you guys watching this video, telling people about alien stuff.
Speaker: I try to bring it up at work occasionally with people, just try to gauge on interest.
Speaker: Some people have heard about it, but people still really don't know.
Speaker: And that's exactly what they want, the people who are hiding this from us.
Speaker: So.
Speaker: Keep wondering about it.
Speaker: Go back and watch stuff that you've already watched that you thought was not true.
Speaker: You know, go and rewatch and try to have an open mind and ask me questions about it.
Speaker: And so I can think of stuff to cover for us and to find out about.
Speaker: But
Speaker: uh so that turned into a really long-winded rant i hope you found it semi-interesting i hope you found the whole podcast um pretty good and interesting i know it was a really interesting one for me i had a lot of fun topics to delve into uh be looking out for next week's podcast um should be fun should be a good time we'll be at seven episodes looking forward to getting to 10 episodes follow me on the at matt jero show on twitter
Speaker: and then subscribe, like, comment, share all that jazz.
Speaker: Send this video to somebody and be like, hey, this guy's weird, but he likes to talk about football, basketball, and he talks about aliens at the end, which is kind of interesting.
Speaker: So I don't know.
Speaker: I just throw it on because, you know, it helps me do whatever while he's talking to the background.
Speaker: You know, just a little little bit of promotion for me would be cool.
Speaker: If not, and you just want to enjoy it for yourself and gatekeep for yourself, I'm glad I'm appreciated.
Speaker: That's all I can say.
Speaker: Thank you for listening again to the Matt Jarreau Show, and I will see you guys next week.
Speaker: Bye-bye.
