Speaker: Hey yo, everybody!
Speaker: Welcome back to the Matt Giroux Show.
Speaker: It is I, Matt Giroux, and you are listening to me, your host, Matt Giroux.
Speaker: So welcome, welcome, welcome.
Speaker: It has been a minute.
Speaker: It has been a fat minute, actually, since we last recorded.
Speaker: And that's thanks to a few things.
Speaker: That's thanks to Hawaii, which was amazing.
Speaker: I spent a week there with my wife and it'll always be an unforgettable week for me, for her to actually got a couple of tattoos or I got a tattoo and then got my other tattoo touched up so I can remember that forever.
Speaker: We did pick up some really awesome souvenirs while we were there and just some keepsakes.
Speaker: Remember the trip by.
Speaker: Also, you know, last time we talked, I had been kind of just really getting run down by my new job.
Speaker: That's still going on, but I'm getting better at it and it's getting easier.
Speaker: So hopefully these will become often and regular again.
Speaker: And finally, of course, the holidays, you know.
Speaker: So just between all those things, I've been a little busy, but not too busy to where I couldn't do this right now.
Speaker: And what are we going to be talking about?
Speaker: That's probably what everyone's wondering, right?
Speaker: We're going to start with the hot pressing sports topic right now, the number one trending sports topic right now, and that's going to be the college football playoff standings, which we have set now for the 2023 college playoff bracket.
Speaker: We have number one, University of Michigan.
Speaker: Number two is the University of Washington.
Speaker: Number three is the University of Texas.
Speaker: And number four, the University of Alabama.
Speaker: So that means you'll see in the one seed Michigan playing against the four seed Alabama from what I've seen on the Internet and just reactions from the fan bases.
Speaker: Michigan didn't seem super happy about that.
Speaker: They would have preferred somebody else.
Speaker: And Alabama doesn't really seem to care who they're going to be facing.
Speaker: on the flip side of things between Washington and Texas.
Speaker: And I'll be cheering on Washington.
Speaker: That's where my uncle hails from.
Speaker: That's his school that he likes to support as well.
Speaker: And so I'll be supporting them.
Speaker: And I do believe they'll beat Texas.
Speaker: I also believe Michigan will beat Alabama.
Speaker: Michigan and Washington are kind of like the two people who you expected to be prom king and queen.
Speaker: And then Texas and Alabama are kind of like people you maybe would have expected to be prom king and queen, but then they found out they weren't going to be.
Speaker: But that wasn't OK with them.
Speaker: So then they had to go in and kind of bloody up the incoming prom king and queen that they were going to be, you know, going to be there instead of them.
Speaker: And so now it's kind of like we got these two rough riders in here and that's kind of like Texas and Alabama.
Speaker: So it'll be a really good matchup either way.
Speaker: If an upset happens, it'll be awesome.
Speaker: It'll be more exciting.
Speaker: But yeah, that's kind of my prediction for the college football playoff.
Speaker: I know you fans are disappointed, you know, with the way that the season ended, especially with them losing in Bedlam to Oklahoma State.
Speaker: Go Pokes.
Speaker: And then seeing Oklahoma State not really put up much of a challenge against the University of Texas.
Speaker: I'm sure a lot of you fans felt that their team probably would have done something and maybe they would be in number three or number four in the playoffs.
Speaker: But that is not the case.
Speaker: And so they will have to look forward to the SEC as this was the last season for Oklahoma and for Texas to play in the Big 12.
Speaker: So college football all around is going to be really interesting and really changing up a whole bunch in the next season.
Speaker: But that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the end of the season and the end of the Big 12.
Speaker: As we know it, it is not going away, but it'll definitely be different from here on out.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So college football definitely will revisit that as the game happens.
Speaker: There also may be things like players not playing because they want to do well in the NFL or as far as getting drafted.
Speaker: So we'll want to watch out for that, too.
Speaker: Only other really football topic I have to talk about are my Dallas Cowboys who are winning at an unprecedented pace right now.
Speaker: Not really, but they have some losses that I'm not happy with.
Speaker: I wouldn't expect other Cowboys fans to be happy with.
Speaker: Obviously, I'm talking about the 49ers and the Eagles.
Speaker: You know, those those games are games that I'll constantly think about until we play those teams again.
Speaker: But these other teams were facing a really good Seattle team, which we just barely squeaked out of there, thankfully, and beating the teams we're supposed to beat like Washington.
Speaker: The Cowboys are looking good and Dak Prescott's looking like the MVP of the league.
Speaker: And that's not something that's necessarily...
Speaker: like I've been pushing or anything.
Speaker: That's just stuff I've been seeing on pushed by other people.
Speaker: So it's great because that's probably something I would have been thinking no matter what.
Speaker: So it's just great to have that validation from non Dallas Cowboys fans.
Speaker: The best part about it probably is, though, the defense.
Speaker: I know they had a really bad week this last week, but
Speaker: our team finally has like the two things you need to win a Super Bowl, a championship defense and a freaking good quarterback.
Speaker: So I'm honestly surprised it's happening this year, but this year seems to be maybe one of our best chances we've had in the last 20 plus years.
Speaker: So we'll see what happens.
Speaker: The Oklahoma City Thunder, on the other hand, on the NBA side of things, are absolutely tearing it up, just like the Dallas Cowboys.
Speaker: So sports world all around, I'm pretty satisfied and happy these days.
Speaker: They're third in the West right now.
Speaker: Their record, I want to say, is 13-6 or 13-7, maybe something like that.
Speaker: They just beat the Mavericks in a crazy game where the Mavericks had a 30-0 run to take the lead by six with like three minutes to go.
Speaker: And then the Thunder still flipped the script and went on their own 12-0 run, basically, and was able to switch it six back the other way and win that game.
Speaker: All the while, we have impressive, impressive performances coming from multiple guys.
Speaker: Shea has definitely put himself in the MVP conversation.
Speaker: I can't say he's going to be MVP of the league, especially as long as Nicole Jokic continues to do his thing.
Speaker: But...
Speaker: As far as guards go, there's no other guard in the league playing better than him.
Speaker: Luka is probably the next closest or Trey Young, but neither of those guys are playing as good on defense as he is.
Speaker: He's a legit two-way player, and he may not be taking a ton of threes like other guards, but he still takes them, and he takes them efficiently.
Speaker: He's efficient from anywhere on the floor, free throws especially.
Speaker: He's shooting over 90% this season.
Speaker: And that's just one guy.
Speaker: We also have Chet, who's having an amazing Rookie of the Year campaign, really putting one binyama to shame, especially efficiency wise and in blocks wise.
Speaker: We're seeing a really great season from
Speaker: Lou Dort scoring wise, we're seeing a great season from Isaiah Joe off the bench.
Speaker: Wallace, also a great rookie campaign from him as well.
Speaker: There's so many guys who are producing for us right now.
Speaker: We're ranked top five in offense and defense, and our net rating is number one in the NBA right now.
Speaker: We're basically hitting where we were supposed to be hitting and where I'm sure Sam Presti was hoping that they would be hitting.
Speaker: If you ask Sam Presti publicly, I'm pretty sure he's going to say that we're ahead of schedule.
Speaker: But I just think that is to make the players feel better about themselves.
Speaker: I think that if guys weren't doing better than they are now, there would be like not so much like patience necessarily.
Speaker: And right now it's really easy to be patient because the team is playing so well at such a young average age.
Speaker: And then we also have Jalen Williams, who seems to be just as good as he was last season, but now better, better score, better handler, better defender, defending multiple positions for us, helping out Chad a lot in that sense.
Speaker: And I don't know.
Speaker: Giddy's had up and down seasons.
Speaker: Everybody knows the up and downs this season.
Speaker: Everybody knows, especially if you're plugged into Twitter about his personal life down.
Speaker: So this season definitely wouldn't be easy to focus on playing basketball with all that stuff going on.
Speaker: But he's doing enough to help our team.
Speaker: And we know we need him.
Speaker: We don't have another six, eight guard with that handle or ability to rebound.
Speaker: So we definitely need him.
Speaker: But I'm loving the way things are going.
Speaker: They're beating the bad teams.
Speaker: They're really embarrassing the great teams.
Speaker: And it's offense and defense.
Speaker: It's not just one thing that we're amazing at.
Speaker: We're all around a beautifully built team.
Speaker: And it's crazy because there's so many guys on the team who are only like we've only been there for three years or less.
Speaker: We only have one technically all star.
Speaker: So the sky is the limit indeed for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Speaker: And if you haven't been watching them this season, I definitely recommend you tune in while we're third in the West.
Speaker: Hopefully that number will continue to grow.
Speaker: There are teams ahead of us that I just wouldn't expect to stay ahead of us for very long like the Timberwolves, but we'll see.
Speaker: What happens with the race in the West.
Speaker: So.
Speaker: That's really all I have on sports right now.
Speaker: I'm going to talk a little bit about what's going on with the UAPs and where we are with that and UFOs and.
Speaker: The government and everything so.
Speaker: If you've been paying attention to that stuff, you'll know that the UAP Disclosure Act was almost shot down by leaders in the Republican House.
Speaker: And that came to a halt thanks to pressure from United States citizens and from Congressmen and women who are actually pushing for real disclosure.
Speaker: The UAPDA didn't get shot down.
Speaker: What ended up happening is Tim Burchett was able to get an additional piece added in there that was for a pushing for a sooner disclosure from the Department of Defense specifically.
Speaker: I'm not sure that we will get.
Speaker: Pardon me.
Speaker: I'm not sure that we will get much from the CIA or the Department of Energy, but there is definitely smoke there.
Speaker: And when there's smoke, there's fire.
Speaker: And when there's fire, there's a life form.
Speaker: Hopefully aliens.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: But.
Speaker: The CIA reportedly is the organization, the three letter organization that is doing the crash retrieval programs.
Speaker: They're working with JSOC, which is the Joint Special Operations, I think command or something like that.
Speaker: Basically, those are the people who will it'll be like
Speaker: uh navy and cia or marines and cia working together and their jobs are basically to recover um the uaps which they down with i guess like emp technology and then to create covers um for that um recovery
Speaker: And then they transfer the craft to a secure location with a private defense organization such as Lockheed Martin or Raytheon or Radiance Technologies.
Speaker: I saw today that, excuse me.
Speaker: Radiance Technologies is denying involvement in any of the cover up and also seem to be defending their two employees.
Speaker: Travis Taylor, I think is his name, maybe Travis Jenkins, but I think it's Travis Taylor and the Jay Stratton, who everybody knows are people who have been pushing for transparency, but have also been accused of being basically like double agents and putting out misinformation.
Speaker: Now, that could be that could be said about almost anybody in the UFO community.
Speaker: There's there's accusations of that towards each other all the time.
Speaker: No one can really trust each other, trust what anything is saying, because no one has any evidence, unfortunately.
Speaker: You know, all we have are firsthand stories and we have grainy video that you can find on the Internet.
Speaker: So.
Speaker: Until we get something more solid, then that's kind of going to be just a constant battle of hearsay when it comes to the Internet and social media.
Speaker: As far as the true facts of everything that's going on, it seems that Congress...
Speaker: is as a whole way more briefed on the issue than they were six months ago.
Speaker: And that's the Senate and the House.
Speaker: It seems that the White House is definitely aware of what's going on.
Speaker: I've even seen stuff saying that we will get a disclosure speech from President Biden next year, which a lot of people didn't think anything like that would happen until after the election based on, you know, how things are polling and things like that.
Speaker: That'll be huge.
Speaker: I think it's come to a point where it's so big, they got to do something, they've got to move before one of these other countries decide to disclose the information or before there's catastrophic disclosure, as they call it, where basically someone, a whistleblower would come out and say more information than maybe they should.
Speaker: And it would either cause a national security risk or send people into panic.
Speaker: Both are very possible.
Speaker: Here's the deal.
Speaker: NBC News is covering the UAPs just now, just recently with Meet the Press.
Speaker: Prior to this, no coverage.
Speaker: Fox News is covering a little bit now, but prior to this, very little coverage, if any.
Speaker: CNN won't even sniff it.
Speaker: ABC News, I don't believe, has done much of any stories on it.
Speaker: So there's all these major news outlets who should be paying attention to what's going on, who should be sending their reporters and tracking down where these crafts are.
Speaker: But they're not.
Speaker: We're only seeing it from News Nation, from Daily Mail UK, Liberation Times and from The Hill and from Michael Schellenberger, who's kind of like on his own thing, basically, as a reporter.
Speaker: And Ross Coldhart used to be on his own, too, but now he's with News Nation.
Speaker: So besides those groups, there's really not a lot of investigation happening from the media side of it.
Speaker: Thankfully, those that are investigating it have been able to turn up things for us, like the fact that the CIA is involved, like the fact that the U.S. government has nine, probably more, according to Ross Coulthart, considerably more craft, either fully intact or damaged and just held underground, and that they have life forms, they have aliens, and that this has been a cover-up going on for
Speaker: 70 years now.
Speaker: So we're very close.
Speaker: We're probably closer than humans have ever, ever been.
Speaker: I myself have sent stuff to the Oklahoma representatives and senators, which they don't.
Speaker: They they they have like automated answers that came back, but it did say that they did receive my stuff.
Speaker: But I also sent stuff to national leaders like President Biden and Kamala Harris, and then the majority leader, Chuck Schumer, who's already pushing for this.
Speaker: And of course, I sent Mitch McConnell stuff because I wanted to get on his ass anyways, because he's one of the fucking Republicans that are trying to stop this shit.
Speaker: It's reportedly it was originally Mike Rogers, Mike Turner, Mitch McConnell, and I think, um,
Speaker: Mike Shannon or something like that.
Speaker: I can't remember who's from South Dakota.
Speaker: But either way, they're all in cahoots with these defense organizations.
Speaker: And so that's kind of where the pushback is coming from.
Speaker: But this pushback is what's got Congress so interested, especially because the money spent towards these programs is astronomical and they can't account for any part of it to anyone.
Speaker: And if you I never thought about this this way until I saw a tweet from I believe it was Representative Eric Brolson from Missouri, and he's a Democrat and he so he's part of this bipartisan force that's trying to find out this information.
Speaker: He pointed out that basically we already own the information.
Speaker: So we should know why do we own the information?
Speaker: Because the information was paid through like through government funding, like all the data collecting, all that's whatever they did.
Speaker: It was all done by government funding, government funding coming from taxes.
Speaker: Taxes come from us and we pay taxes.
Speaker: That's why we feel like we can tell the elected representatives what to do.
Speaker: That's why we feel like we can tell the president what to do.
Speaker: And that's why we should be able to tell these UAP gatekeepers what to do.
Speaker: So if you are still doubtful.
Speaker: Read a news article, read a news article from a reporter, a reporter
Speaker: like from one of those unbiased stations or online sites that I brought up to you.
Speaker: I can't give you a more reputable source than people whose job is to find the truth and to discover shit like this.
Speaker: So you really have to get outside of yourself and accept that there is something to this.
Speaker: There is something going on.
Speaker: There is the CIA.
Speaker: It has something going on.
Speaker: And you know what's really, really, really interesting about the CIA being involved is that more than likely, if the CIA is involved, the Five Eyes are involved.
Speaker: The Five Eyes, if you don't know, are basically the CIA and NSA basically for
Speaker: America, UK, Australia, I think Canada and New Zealand, I think is the fifth one.
Speaker: We're in an alliance together and we share our secrets and we also spy on each other for each other's safety.
Speaker: And when we allow each other to spy on each other because we're like a team basically.
Speaker: And then we also work together and spy on other countries.
Speaker: That's the five eyes.
Speaker: guarantee they're involved in this guarantee the CIA has been using them to get things done.
Speaker: So it'll it'll be crazy once the information comes out.
Speaker: But it's probably the key to our origin as humans and key to the meaning of life.
Speaker: And who knows what else?
Speaker: Who knows what other abilities or technology might remain for us to discover?
Speaker: So that's going to be everything for the Matt Jarosho.
Speaker: Sorry if I got a little tired there towards the end.
Speaker: It has been kind of a longer day for me.
Speaker: I wasn't sure I was actually going to get this done and I did get it done.
Speaker: So that feels awesome.
Speaker: Thank you for tuning in.
Speaker: If you have been a loyal listener from the other episodes and you're
Speaker: Super excited to see this episode back.
Speaker: Go ahead and give me a like.
Speaker: Go ahead and share this video with somebody and try to get some more subscribers or whatever.
Speaker: And I'll try to keep putting out the content and paying attention to what's going on and bringing the important information to you guys.
Speaker: Thank you guys so much.
Speaker: Love the fact that you guys are still here with me.
Speaker: And I hope that you guys have an amazing, freaking awesome rest of your day.
Speaker: Bye, guys.
