Speaker: Thanks for tuning in into the Loser Kid Pinball Podcast. With me, my co-captain. Scott Larson. And I am Josh Roop. And Scott, it is a special day today because we are on episode 200. I know we don't really talk about episode numbers much anymore, but like we've been doing this for a while now.
Speaker: Yeah, it's its it's kind of crazy. And you know what? We appreciate everybody who listens to us because the bottom line is we didn't know where where this was going when we started doing it. And we appreciate that There's a lot of collectors out there who just like us, where we have normal jobs, we have families and we're just trying to enjoy our side hobby with pinball. So we appreciate you taking the journey with us.
Speaker: Yeah. So we have, uh, it's coming up on eight years in January. We've been doing these shenanigans. All right. We got plenty on the schedule to talk about today. It's been a minute since we sat down and talked. We've done tons of interviews. We released three interviews and 24 hours of all together. Yeah. Um,
Speaker: you know There's been Stern, JJP. We have so much news to cover. Where do you even want to start, Scott? You know what? Okay, the first thing is ah is Stern is dipping their toe back into the Costco pool, which we knew was going to happen, right? Oh, yeah. hey They've always tried. it and Costco does great things with many companies. If you don't if you're not ah really familiar with what Costco does, is typically they reach out. So whether or not it's Traeger or...
Speaker: or sofas or whatever, they usually reach out to the manufacturer and they say, is there a product that you can make for us? And so it typically ends up being a nice product, but it tends to be scaled down.
Speaker: So um news hit the line that Pokemon is actually going to be into Costco again. So, i mean, Josh, this seems like no brainer to me. So they've done Jurassic Park.
Speaker: They've done, ah sorry, Star Wars are and now Pokemon. I mean, okay. Tell me why this is a good idea because I have tons of feelings on this and I actually think it's a smart idea.
Speaker: I think it's a good idea. It's an exposure thing, right? Like it's, it's automatically it's games being built by Stern. That's getting shipped out. Like they are just meeting a demand. And so.
Speaker: they're just, they've you got to feed the beast, right? It's it's great for them to keep the manufacturer line going. On top of that, these are 5K, which I mean, 2000 more, you're into a pro, but you know, we were talking to distributors and stuff and they love these because people get online and they go down the rabbit hole and then they look at like, well, this is really cool. I saw this at Costco. oh wait, there's this better edition for just two grand more.
Speaker: I'll buy a pro, I'll buy a premium. So it actually helps the distributors and the dealers sell product after the fact too. So I think it's great all the way around. And plus, if you're looking at this and scoffing at the 5k, there's like third party vendors like here, two, three, four months where like Costco, it'll just offload these to these third party vendors, figure out who they are in your town, because then they'll turn around something like two grand.
Speaker: You know what I'm saying? Okay. There's a third party vendor here. And the last time they did this, it was around, i think we found it for 3,800 or 4,000. Okay. it was 2,800.
Speaker: It was. It may have been. but It didn't last long, but it no it was there. didn' i actually went and and checked one out. and the bottom line is, the This is the challenge though. and And if you're listening to this podcast, you're at least remotely familiar with pinball machines. You're familiar with quality. You're figuring out which levels you're interested in. And you probably have a machine or two in your basement. Now, are you going to select that you know a pro version or a home version?
Speaker: The challenge with these is they are definitely a very straightforward thing. game. So the people who are going to be interested are the people who are, it's like the grandpa's game, game dungeon, right?
Speaker: Where they're like, Hey, we want a ping pong. We want a ping pong table. We want maybe like a shoot them game. We want something. And they're trying to, to, to get things together and they may not even know much about pinball anymore.
Speaker: So you're going to get a lot of those collectors. Now, a lot of those collectors aren't probably going to be the ones who are going to be very familiar with pinballs. ah pinball machines. So I think it does bring in an extra level of people who maybe aren't interested in, in spending that money.
Speaker: But Josh, this game, the layout looks really familiar. It looks really close to what the, the, the Stern product is the pro and the premium.
Speaker: And ah okay. So what are your thoughts on that? I, so there is a Jurassic park home in my hometown and I get a call about every like three months to go fix it.
Speaker: And i mean, the play fields aren't, They're not typical Stern play fields. They're like MFD. But what's interesting, don't you saw a cool toy released a video today and he kind of went through it top to bottom.
Speaker: They've got like that JP home had like a cell phone screen for, for, ah for a ah DM, not DMD, but for an LCD. Yeah. Yeah. For for the, for the interface, right? yeah Yeah. For the interface, like the, the, I guess the play fields are now actual Stern play fields.
Speaker: Um, instead of one speaker, it's two speakers. Like it's just little minor things. And granted when star Wars came out, it was four grand and then JP home was 4,500. now we're at five grand so you can see there's definitely been a jump over the years um but you can see that the money's going back into the machine into the bill of materials so i would be interested to see overall how this one differs from the previous games because the previous games just felt cheap to me that's why i'm like i just don't i don't think i'd touch them because they're just i feel like they take up valuable space and i wouldn't be happy with them because the code the code's terrible
Speaker: on most of those games but the problem is is like i'd hate to say it but the pokemon code for the pro premium le isn't impressive either what have you played it yet yeah uh it's okay it feels super early so i am always going to um to be cautious because stern has a way of releasing code kind of bare bones in many releases and then end up making up for it on the back end.
Speaker: Now, is that a good thing or a bad thing? i I wish that it were more developed when it first came out because there are games that really suffer from early code, um I guess, deficiencies. James Bond was that way.
Speaker: And there were a lot of issues with the James Bond release, but it... In some ways, it had a giant hurdle to come over. You know, Deadpool was that way too. Deadpool actually was able to overcome that that bad you stripped down code when it first came out. It ended up being an excellent game. Some games never actually recover and we're seeing that a little bit with X-Men.
Speaker: where X-Men has just kind of died a little bit and Wick has gone through some changes. It seems like Wick never really recovered from that early ah early deficiency too.
Speaker: So now with ah with a license like Pokemon, it's it's arguably the biggest license that Pinball has ever had when you're talking about worldwide. Okay. So yeah, if you if you want to get a Pokemon, what do you think? Where are you going to get yours from Scott?
Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. I'll check that out. Zach and Nicole, many flipping out pinball, all things pinball. If you want your toppers, your, ah your LEs, your premiums or any, a lot of manufacturers, they're all set up with. So definitely check out flipping out pinball. um Yeah. Pokemon that this is the, this is the issue where I have become a little cautious with buying new Stern games.
Speaker: Because I'm just waiting to see, okay, where is it going to end up? Is it going to end up being a Deadpool? Is it going to be a a James Bond? Because James Bond actually did recover. James Bond is a great game now. Oh, yeah. It's better. but I don't know if it's the best.
Speaker: Okay. But it's good. But it's a solid game, right? Yeah, definitely. Very solid. Yeah. I would argue that um X-Men is probably, it is what it is at this point, which I think is unfortunate because a dialed in X-Men seems really fun to play.
Speaker: But you know i i have valuable space, so I have to look at every game. Am I going to am i going to sell my Rush? Am I going to sell Iron Maiden? Am I going to sell ah Jurassic Park? like Which game am I going to swap out for for the new thing? And so you have to prove to me that if I'm going to ah open up a spot for and for a game, then it's going to actually have, there's a reason.
Speaker: So, and I, I, I've said this before. I actually, we're going to talk about it later. Barrels of fun. Guess what? Bon Jovi. I bought a Bon Jovi. So I'm super excited about Bon Jovi. ah Tales of the Arabian Nights. um I am getting a Tales of the Arabian Nights with my friend and we're going to put it in his house because I want that game because I know what I'm getting.
Speaker: sternness just seems like right now they're giving a peek at something that is not quite finished and we're going to see it and and hope hope it doesn't hope it doesn't die in the vine i don't think pokemon will though because pokemon is such a big license that they they're not going to let that one just wither away well and here's the thing so i enjoy pokemon it might not be it might not be my favorite nintendo license but i do very much enjoy it i played pokemon go had the cards. I have Pokemon red. you know what I'm saying? Like I am rehearsed with the universe. I can probably name all one 51 of the original.
Speaker: Um, so I was excited for a Pokemon pinball machine. Um, I finally got to play it just a ah a month or two back. And this is a game that's been out for almost at that point, seven months.
Speaker: And I'm like, this should be somewhat fleshed out at this point, you know? I played three rounds of it because it's like you pay the two bucks, you get the three rounds. The third round, I beat the game.
Speaker: And it didn't even feel like I think I was barely on ball too when I did it. And it's just, it's really frustrating. I get... I guess some games are going to be less in code than others. They all can't be Elwyn's. They all can't be Elizabeth Gieske's.
Speaker: I appreciate their code. Raymond Davidson, by the way, also. Raymond Davidson also. Raymond Davidson, yes. I feel like their code is unique. It has moments. It feels integrated with the theme of the game.
Speaker: Pokemon feels like... You shoot the shot three times, you call it good is essentially what it is. It's a it's a 90 Williams, which is fine. There's nothing wrong.
Speaker: with trying to aim at a fresh market and bring fresh blood into the market i don't think that's bad i think though this is what's depressing to me is pokemon was is the number one selling pinball machine for stern in the existence of stern like it's not even close uh may not sorry selling it's the fastest selling and it's got a long enough tail it's going to be selling for a while so it's all about theme and stern got rewarded for like barely any code in there's no achievements yet it's just this like this is more bare bones than Munsters was coming out and Munsters cut got so much slack and Munsters makes this look just
Speaker: bad. So it's just like I walked away feeling so empty on a theme I was so excited for. And like you said, Scott, like there is plenty, like there's not much room in our collection right now. If one comes in, one has got to go out.
Speaker: I just, ah it blows my mind that the Pokemon is at this level seven months. So like, where are we going be out year now? Does having a great code help a product Or is there a potential, and you can see where I'm leading with this, is there a potential for being lazy with the product and totally relying on the fan base to buy it regardless of the situation?
Speaker: Pokemon proved that it doesn't matter what you do with code. So long as it's fleshed out enough, it feels like a pinball game. You know what I'm saying? Okay, but it's it it what i get it caters to the entry-level players and maybe even the entry-level collectors. That's not necessarily a bad thing, by the way, because I have said it once and I've said it before.
Speaker: that the my kids still love medieval madness it's a straightforward game but i will also argue it still takes about 30 minutes to beat it's not going like unless you're like amazing at hitting all the shots um it still takes a while to build that up how long did it take for you to get to the end of pokemon was it 30 minutes No, not even 30 minutes. I doubt it. Okay. So there is a danger of just relying on a fan base and to buy something when it eventually, when it it basically turns out to be kind of a Walmart lunchbox.
Speaker: It's, it's basically something very basic and straightforward with a sticker on it, which feels so unfulfilling. Imagine if you were a like a Godzilla fan. And the only thing they did was put, to you know, ah a ah toy lizard in there with five shots and called it good. And there's a reason why certain games move forward because they're not only for the, for the, the entry level players, they have something for entry. They have something for middle and they have something for the elite advanced players.
Speaker: I agree. i just, I think, if you're the pinball enthusiast, I think that's why a lot of these pinball enthusiasts are going towards barrels of fun, spooky pinball.
Speaker: ah They're championing them now because they feel like The theme integration is there and the code is solid. It may not be perfect.
Speaker: It might not be the exact modes you want, but it they are fleshed out very, very well. And it feels like these games, Jersey Jack Pinball, are all geared towards the home environment and they are geared towards ah a very in-depth experience.
Speaker: Now, I'm not saying that Stern isn't. And here's the thing, though. Here's the trade-off. stern's entry point mean if you count home editions at five grand i mean it shows it today right like the next closest is what spooky at 10. yeah and and bon jovi was uh 12 12.5 i haven't paid the full price sonic was 10 on the base end as well yeah what i'm saying yukon yeti yukon yeti's around that and so around 10 is that where it's at now
Speaker: Somewhere around there? Yeah. So, i okay. You're right. I get what you're saying. And that's that's reasonable to say they are allowing for a cheaper product. But they also have, they previously have had an estimated 85% of the market.
Speaker: I think that's actually- are right by the way. Yukon Yeti is 10. Okay. I think it's actually shrinking. And i that should worry Stern. It should worry Stern that people are willing to pay more for these boutique companies that are doing limited runs on games and being able to charge a higher price. But the value seems to be there.
Speaker: um I think the value is still there with a Stern game. But I think the perceived value is lower right now. I agree and I disagree. i Honestly, Stern still holds the cards.
Speaker: There are things that they could do. i i I hesitate to go into depth with this conversation because it goes into business strategy. sure And um I don't feel like it should be said publicly. Okay. Well, okay let's put it this way. I think i think if Stern made ah made a couple of moves, it would put more pressure on the smaller manufacturers while guaranteeing a lion's share of the market no matter what.
Speaker: I'll just put that away. i I will say Stern has put out a lot of solid and adequate games.
Speaker: and Their releases always, there are very few releases where I look at them and say, ooh, you really missed on that one. There's been a few. But for the most part, the production level that Stern has compared with other people, i they're putting out eight games for every one game of other manufacturers.
Speaker: Okay. So, so there is a level of, Hey, what they're doing is totally different. And the volume they're selling is totally different. Um, so it's, uh, you know, I, I, let's be honest too. Yeah. Stern's product is the most reliable product on the Marduk.
Speaker: mark Absolutely. And I get, I hear, people I know people are going to hear that and go, no, they're not. yeah they I get that there is problems. I know, like, I am not oblivious to all the issues that X-Men had. I'm not oblivious to the issues that Transformers had out of the gate. I mean, there's there's little nuances to these games. I don't think there's a single company out there that you buy a new in-box game, it gets in your home, and there isn't some type of adjustment that needs to happen out of the box.
Speaker: Yeah. you know what I'm saying? With Sterling, it tends to be light, though. Like, it it really does. It tends to be something that is... quite readily available. And also it tends to be something that Stern can help you. if If you, if you email Stern, they'll, they'll tell you exactly what, like, okay, you probably want to do this or you needed this. And they're actually really good. If there's a problem with, with the product to send it out, like for example, my, ah my rush,
Speaker: the the time machine in Rush, it the elevation, the ramp, the jump ramp had issues. They just sent me out a new one. And it was even like little farther beyond the window. They were actually really good about saying, hey, it's probably just this. at Here you go, send it in.
Speaker: I've had issues with Stern Games where they have have sent the product. i I've rarely had any issues. I can't even think of any issues where they said, yeah, we can't help You you just have to buy it.
Speaker: Yeah. I don't think so either. Even like with their replacing, if you reach out to Stern and you have an X-Men, I'm pretty for sure they will send you a whole new left ramp. Yeah. That's, that's adjusted properly to that will shoot better. Yeah. It's just, they, I feel like they do stand behind their product. I think that's what you're saying.
Speaker: Yes. So, and and and I will say you, the perception is yes. Stern has problems. However, they also sell 85% of the games.
Speaker: Yes. And so I talked to someone who has like a, you know, a spooky game or a CGC game or all this kind of stuff. They have similar problems. You just don't hear about them because the volume is so low.
Speaker: It's less. Well, and they've been doing stuff quietly and I'm surprised maybe other content carriers to talk about this, but there is some stuff going on behind the scenes. I know Kel had pointed out on electric bat, but like, let's start with expo last year. They, there was an announcement there that they had expanded into European development. There's like a head over, like that's living now in over in like the UK or somewhere like that. And they are,
Speaker: actively attacking that market over there now because of there's other pinball companies over there have established the ground and Stern's ready to start taking of that market share. So you've got that.
Speaker: You've got employees are starting to get let go. There are some, some employees that we know. so like Eric Gilley was one of the lead sales reps over there. He'd been there for years. now Now let go or found a new job. I, yeah, either. We do not know the back, the backstories and we're not pretending to.
Speaker: True. So, and then, um, Jody Dainberg, we just found out he did publicly say he got let go that he was not expecting it and he was let go and he's moving on to his next chapter.
Speaker: And then we also had Derek and I can never pronounce Derek's last name properly. I know he's over ah the New England stuff. Derek Yeah, Derek He was one of the machinists there in the shop.
Speaker: right ah he's He's now been let go as well. So Stern's kind of cleaning house. Oh, it sounds like cleaning. i okay. I, I'd be careful with terms like that because you could just say realigning or refocusing because we're, we're not privy to the reasons why people are like, Oh, or the reasons why they're realigning things.
Speaker: But the bottom line is if you don't continually more ah like morph, how you do your, your job or run your company, then you're going to end up being irrelevant. Right.
Speaker: I agree. So yeah, thank you for correcting me on that. We don't just, it's definitely anybody to be disparaged because we don't know the backstories. Very, very true. So they're realigning. Perfect. Honestly, me, I think Stern moving forward needs to hire more coders that are, that can get the job done because I feel like yes, pinball is still very physical,
Speaker: But we're asking for a certain amount of depth from these games nowadays. And like with Dungeons and Dragons, they had said publicly with us on this podcast that they literally took all the software people that they had and threw them at Dungeons and Dragons. And Dungeons and and Dragons even took, so X-Men came out early because Dungeons and Dragons needed a little extra time.
Speaker: And you can see the difference there. Oh, yeah. Yeah. So, and i think they even said they hired code developers outside of Stern to help with Dungeons and Dragons. So there's obviously a demand for the software side of things there.
Speaker: um ah Tim Sexton, the one that moved on to play mechanics. So we're just, we're seeing a lot of movement. Granted, they're a big company. It's not that everyone's going to stay there for the rest of their lives. It's just, it's just interesting.
Speaker: I don't remember of a time before this, where there was this kind of movement. It was just so much privately. We didn't, we'd never noticed. so I would say there's probably a lot stuff behind the scenes that we don't know about. I'm still a huge Stern fan, obviously.
Speaker: And I still and buy right there was a lot of games that that Stern makes. um This is just us talking as enthusiasts to say that there are things that Stern could do to make themselves a little more competitive for the the middle high-end collector.
Speaker: ah collector and i And I think there is a level of just having something a little more polished when it's released. Correct. I agree. And speaking of, you know, I know we want to wrap up the stern, but we have two more things too.
Speaker: Next about September, L1's game is set to probably release in September. The rumors fall out. Does that do anything for you? Do you think, are excited because it's L1?
Speaker: I, I'm always excited with Elwin. Um, he's been, he's been one, obviously one of my favorite coders for a long time. I have three of them right behind me. Um, Okay, the theme doesn't doesn't do anything for me. And really, that's probably where I fall with Pokemon too. It's just not my theme.
Speaker: um But I'm always interested to see what Elwin do. Elwin and Rick, ah they just they have the secret sauce to come out with a a fairly well-polished game when it first comes out.
Speaker: And very few games have had issues that that that were not overcomable. ah yeah The shark, okay, shark no eat ball or even the ah the fin the fin pop-up had some issues.
Speaker: and There's always going to be little teeny things, but for the most part, people still buy them. and He probably is responsible for over half of their sales. I'm not a huge fan of Fallout, but I'm excited to see what Elon has. I think it's going to be good. I think it's i mean ellen hasn't disappoint i know people complain about King Kong.
Speaker: The game is amazing. It's a great game. The modes might not be as memorable as a Jaws or a Godzilla, but then again, the theme itself was almost like a non-license. I know they licensed the book whatever, but how much... mean, one of them's fighting through a swamp and then one's rafting down the river. You what I'm saying? The modes aren't...
Speaker: standout modes like scars where in the movie they're comparing scars and jaws or you know the the midnight swim which is the first opening scene of jaws it's hard to make a memorable scene out something that someone doesn't have any nostalgia for so The, uh, it's still on my list. There are, there are games that are on my list that I'm going to be, Hey, uh, good news. i actually did get a storage facility. I'm going to, I am renting a a garage and I'm going to put my extra games there. So I'm going to be swapping games out more regularly. That's always been my limitation. I'm a hoarder.
Speaker: I don't sell games. So I've decided that I'm just going to, to just buy some new games and and put these babies in storage. Cause I'm not willing to let them go. I don't blame you. And Kong is going to, is on that list by the way. So I, I'm definitely interested. Uh, Pokemon, the theme theme is big for me and that's why Pokemon not my theme. Um, follow up. Maybe I guess I'll see.
Speaker: So, and then in October, the next rumor is it's between ACDC or kiss remake. I'm hearing it's leaning more towards ACDC. It was kissed last year, but now it's really leaning towards ACDC.
Speaker: What are your thoughts on seeing ACDC come back for a third round, fourth round, whatever it would be. Okay, ah considering I'm staring at, on opposite my camera, ah Metallica Remastered, and being able to take ACDC and doing the same thing, it's a great game.
Speaker: ah You get Ray Day on there to polish up the code a little bit, ah get it a little more competitive, make it stand out a little more, having concert footage in there, putting the the lights in there.
Speaker: Yeah. Okay. Would I be interested, more interested in buying an ACDC or a kiss? I mean, come on, ACDC. A kiss is an amazing marketing machine, but ah outside of kiss alive too, and maybe animalized that album that came out in 84, I really don't know much, much kiss. So I'll take ACDC.
Speaker: Same. right Let's move on to Jersey Jack. They had a game release here in the last month and a half. Sonic the Hedgehog. ah I don't know about you, but this is pure childhood nostalgia for me. i was excited to see this game. It looks great. I have heard the comparison. The layout layout is Pokemon extra with a play field, you know, or an upper play field. I'm hearing people that play it love it. I'm hearing some that are on the fence. um But overall, I'm hearing more positive than negative.
Speaker: What were your first reactions of Sonic, Scott? Jersey Jack games always look great. They do. they They look great. They get the the art right. They get the presentation right. um Yes. Now, the question is, is there enough nostalgia to pull that premium, that $12,000 trigger?
Speaker: I say yes, but it's it's still not going to be as big of a seller as Harry Potter, but I'm not sure what would be. um I'm excited to get more time on this thing. and to to see it the the question is right now josh you we have so many games out there on your scale of one to five how interested would you be in playing it versus owning it like where are you feeling uh playing it i definitely own a five i really want to get my hands on one um
Speaker: as i think we actually have one in Nickel Mania in West Jordan. So I'll have to get over there. ah Owning it, I mean, I've got to play it first. From first blush, I'm saying like a like a two or a three.
Speaker: But me personally, i really think I want a Harry Potter over a Sonic. I think Harry Potter is a better package with a deeper rule set based on everything I'm seeing so far.
Speaker: Okay, but I don't think Sonic's a bad game. No, no, it's not. yeah It's up there. It's up there with Elton John. Right. It's one of the better licenses, in my opinion. like It definitely appeals to me more than Elton John, Avatar, Godfather, you know, Wizard of Oz.
Speaker: Hey, Wizard of Oz, people still want play it, by the way. I know. um the ah Yeah, so okay i would definitely I need to go play it and spend more time on it to see.
Speaker: However, I would still rank this as a solid year for for JJP. It doesn't feel like a ah down. you like Sonic is it's still a relevant license.
Speaker: um It's probably somewhere between a B and a C tier. If you're really trying to to rank those and yeah, okay. You can do S tier. There's really not too many S tier licenses. You know, Harry Potter and Pokemon would probably be the only ones, maybe star Wars. yeah Everything else is maybe a B C. So Sonic is at somewhere between a B and a C tier.
Speaker: which means it can, as long as it's a solid game, it should be able to sell adequately to, to keep things going because we, we hear there's other really good licenses that are in the pipeline for JJP also.
Speaker: Well, and i think the other thing too is, is like, if you look, I've heard that Sonics is selling. Okay. Sure. But if you can't compare it to Harry Potter, which is an insane like theme,
Speaker: It's hard to be like, oh yeah, Sonic is selling gangbusters because Harry Potter, my understanding, they still are pumping those out too because still making them. Yeah, that's how Pokemon is going to be. Like, poons they're going to be cranking those out for the next decade. You know what i'm saying? Like, it just, it is what it is. But overall, I think JJP is on the right path. Like, it felt like there for a while that it was just, I was like, I was interested interested in seeing the next game, but I was never excited to see the next game.
Speaker: Right now, like Elton John actually got me excited for Jersey Jack because it played better than the other games. It flowed really well. i mean, Steve Ritchie. But then Harry Potter came out and that like the wow factor there just went through the roof. And then when I heard they had Sonic, it just it's like they've they've gained momentum and I feel like they're just barreling down the road at a nice, good high speed ah and they're doing great. So I have no complaints with Jersey Jack right now. I think they're doing better now than they ever have in the past.
Speaker: Yeah, it's ah harry Harry Potter is is probably, well, it's my second next game after Bon Jovi. Let's talk about another game, double game release that happened here last week that we were involved with. So Ender's Game has been in production longer than Dungeon Crawler Carl. They talked about this on the episode. um Ender's Game looks really fantastic. It's it's not as...
Speaker: decorated as dungeon crawler carl so that it's nice because like the price isn't as expensive for it so if you're solely in this for the gameplay uh ender's game is where it's at for the price you know saying and dungeon crawler carl has me excited but i don't know if i can bring this into my house we were talking about this we were looking through the pictures and we are a family friendly podcast yeah so i'm not going to point this out on our podcast but just go back go back if you haven't really looked at the pictures of dungeon crawler carl there's no way i could have this in with my twin seven-year-olds in my house there well there's some headlights on the play field so uh Exactly. Yeah. So yeah you just have to realize that, okay, there's a big difference between whether or not we think a game is a great game versus a game we or that someone could own versus a game that we could own.
Speaker: yes Those really are are different levels. You know, okay, I've said that ah Jersey Jack, you know, the Guns N' Roses, hey, it's a great selling game and the ah the experience is there.
Speaker: Still not making it in my house. Now, Metallica made it, but Metallica didn't have some of the suggestive things that Guns N' Roses did, which is fine. It's just my my personal collection. No, I agree. But like, I'm really excited for these games. I really want a dungeon crawler, Carl. Like I, I really do. And after talking and listening to Joel and Jared over at flipping out, if you haven't checked out there first, they played it at Gen Con because Gen Con's in their backyard up there in Indianapolis. And Oh, it's just, it's so exciting. And the concept of like each book is going to be its own kind of contained,
Speaker: mode, like not mode, but like its own, like, so, so book one is very similar to monster bash is how Wesley was explaining it on our show. I love monster bash and the way you can layer the bosses. And I know like some people had said, like, I don't like that concept because they fight the bosses individually in the book, whatever. I don't care. like Yeah. Okay. At least they're trying to shout out to Troy. Yeah. Okay. Yes, it's fine. But okay. I am super excited to see how well they integrate it.
Speaker: Because i'm a okay I do listen to the Dungeon Crawler card games or ah books. I am on book six right now. Dang, look at you. You're almost there. sexy Are you at Fraction Wars? are they I'm at Faction Wars, yes. You're book seven then. Okay, book seven. So like i I will listen to these.
Speaker: And so I'm really interested to see because the way that Jeff Hayes does it, case the way jeff hayes does it it it brings me in that that is the, that is the danger crawler Carl experience that I want. And so I'm super excited that he is involved with the call outs. I'm super excited by this and just the way they're going to be doing it. Yes. The the chapters and you know, it's the same thing.
Speaker: The thing that I'm also interested in with Ender's game, which is it's the same play field, just it's a different game. Okay. Call him like Alpine's on this. Like Colin is doing like Colin is a high level player and he's really smart with rules.
Speaker: So I am super excited to see how Ender's game is going to be. And because they, they developed in parallel, they are going to be different games. And so I'm super excited to see what they do.
Speaker: So I can't remember if Colin worked. I want to say he did help with princess bride. um I really, really do like princess bride. My only criticism of the code on that is I wish you have to complete the mode.
Speaker: And if you don't, it resets the next time you start it and you must complete the code or the, the, the mode to get to the mini wizard mode. And so I prefer it like Godzilla, where if you start the mode, like the battle, right which is your mode, still it credits you for that, right? Regardless if you beat the mode or not, yeah you're welcome to go back and get more points.
Speaker: And the mode's not worth as much, but it still qualifies you for the mini wizard mode. It is really, really hard on Princess bar Bride, depending on the path that you take.
Speaker: to get to the mini wizard modes and each mini was remote is different. It's actually tied to each character of the movie. Um, but i mean other than that the code is really good it's really in depth it's fun it's memorable i mean playing ah a pinball machine one-handed because you're doing a sword fight against you know uh ingo mondoya you know it's just it's amazing and so i'm excited to see what colin and p3 and all the crew over there have up their sleeves for ender's game for dungeon crawler carl i'm excited because
Speaker: I think I got a portal coming on the way. And so to drop that in here, I've been dying to get more time on a portal. And I'm going to report back to you because I know a lot a lot of you people are like, where's we want more P3 content. yeah You guys are excited for the P3. You want more information on it. You want to make good decisions on this, right? because And here's the other thing too. like P3 isn't really terrible considering looking at price-wise.
Speaker: getting into the machine is just as much as a Bon Jovi or, you know, a little higher end Beetlejuice. And then the modules are not terrible. know I'm saying? You're basically paying like a, you're paying an LE price, or a limit, you know, a higher end price for the basting. And then each game is below a pro stern or a used pro stern, right? Oh yeah. Heavens. Yeah. So, okay. So, so think about that. If, if that's something that you're really interested in in having you in your collection, absolutely. they They have so much content that you can put into these games that it makes it worth it if you're willing to pull the trigger. and And our friend Troy, he said he ordered it and he he has that thing coming in. So he'll be able to, he jumped in on that level, which is fine because last year we were he was just talking about buying a game. So he he jumped right into the P3.
Speaker: I always teased if you really want to get into the P3,
Speaker: it's It's 99.40 with Cannon Lagoon. Now, that isn't my favorite game i would recommend. If you went no kit at all, $8,500. But, I mean, obviously, you want to have something yeah that's something.
Speaker: But even like Final Resistance is an amazing game. It's described as TNA 2.0. 11.2. mean, we're we're on the same price and level point. Same level.
Speaker: Yeah. and And then your modules, like you said. so So if you go the extended kit on Portal, it's the most expensive that they have for that. And it's $5,500. That Inbox Stern fifteen hundred dollars less than a nobox stern pro So I, and granted, yeah, there's a little bit of, you know, you got to do it yourself. It's a different feel.
Speaker: Absolutely. It's not exactly the same thing as other games, but it still is solid. i I think the feels good. i mean, you can't do a P3 pass on other games and my, I don't know. There's just, I'm really happy with my multimorphic. I'm glad I got a P3. I like, it's been amazing.
Speaker: It is such a unique experience that you cannot experience with any other manufacturer. And youve even look at the Dungeon Crawler Carl kits. ah They're what? They're 5,300. 5,250. And that's the more expensive with freaking Davey mods all over the thing. You know what I'm saying? like Heck, Ender's Game is 4,400.
Speaker: That's crazy. That's that's almost half a a stern pro You know what I'm saying? So, i don't know. I'm excited for it. Also... Flippin' Out is selling multimorphic now. They're selling the P3. So they're your one-stop shop now. If you want to buy it, go hit them up.
Speaker: Well, speaking of something you did get yeah the next reveal that we were a part of, we did so many reveals. Oh my goodness. Uh, Bon Joey barrels of fun. i Scott, I could hear your giddiness through your texts when this revealed. Okay. Well, I, okay. I texted while we were interviewing saying, I want to get this.
Speaker: And I knew that one of my tennis coach is, He is the, he's always been asking us. He has like 18 games. He's always been saying, when are they going to make Bon Jovi? I'm like, I don't know. I think it, I think it'd be a great theme. And guess what, Josh, I was right.
Speaker: I was right. All you young kids who don't know who how big Bon Jovi was in the eighties. There was a, there was a time between like 87 to 91, the Bon Jovi aside from maybe guns and roses was the biggest band on the planet.
Speaker: And absolutely. i am so looking forward to this and congratulations to, to David Van S and all the, the crew of barrels of fun that they were able to sell out there, their 700.
Speaker: So absolutely. And I got, I got one for me and my friend ordered one. Well, and even, uh, ah Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer was actually voted the number one song of the 80s as well.
Speaker: Yep. So, I mean, it is a good theme. The 700, like you said, they, so they, they sold through. i hate doing this. I hate saying the word sold through or sold out because I swear they sold someone, case someone from inside the industry will say, no, you're doing it wrong. And I swear they're always like, I don't know if they know. but okay Okay. How was explained to us? And we did confirm this a few times.
Speaker: Sold out means the, it's the business to business. Like as in the business industry, got 700 orders for their 700. Now they, then they go to say the distributors and if the distributors sell their product that is sold through because it is sold through to the end customer.
Speaker: Correct. That's how I understand it. Yeah. We're going to get a text tomorrow. I'm getting it. sub subscribe soll send it But okay. But the bottom line is there okay, they're making 700 and 700 are going out of barrels of fun.
Speaker: Yep. So, and they did it in less than a week. Yeah. So by the way, kate big fan of their, obviously they, they captured lightning in a bottle with Winchester and unfortunately the bottle didn't have any room to expand. So if you got a Winchester, great. And by the way, i would probably be interested in about, at about 15,000 for a Winchester. So let me know if someone wants to sell me there. No, I was just saying like they found out a way to say, Hey, um we have a limited number, but we are going to have a barrels of fun club that you can join. it's a small fee that you basically have a week within release.
Speaker: If they sell out, then you can still get, you know, their extra club member number or whatever. And so it's such a great option because Josh and I found out about Winchester came out of nowhere.
Speaker: We were going to expo. We found out about it and they said, Hey, if there's an expo, if you, you should go and check out this game. And by the time we checked it out, it was already sold out. It really stinks. Cause ah It is what it is. hey but but By the way, seriously, Winchester for a decent price, I'd be interested in picking it up and I'm still looking for the Iron Maiden topper.
Speaker: Yeah. Good luck at the 15. Cause like, I know I'm seeing 20 plus consistently. Well, okay. But there's gotta be, me it's gotta be a Carl thing, right? Like Carl, Carl, it's not the Winchester theme. No, no, it's not. It's not. But okay.
Speaker: it When Carl obviously is one of the best players on the planet. And also happens to be one of the nicest guys on the planet too. Just super humble, super straightforward. And so absolutely, this is this was a Carl D'Angelo theme.
Speaker: That's what sold it. And everyone's hoping and hoping he'll be another version of Elwin, not an elite level player that that can also develop games. I think that's going to be the case. that's I'm going to put my money on him.
Speaker: but i agree. but Absolutely. um This is... They are in a great position. ah Me personally, they're proving consistently time and time again. They're a contender for one of the top tier pinball companies. I think, I know people might scoff at that. They're only on their fourth release, but seriously, everything they've put out, it may not be a fan of the theme, but gameplay wise, everything feels great.
Speaker: i mean, there's little hiccups, ands a little growing pains are brand new company, but still. man. And I'm hearing the quality of these people is up there. Like the reasons people want to sell these games is because they don't have they don't have to deal with the issues of most of what the other manufacturers are dealing with. So good quality games. ah I mean, and it's the other thing too, right? Like,
Speaker: Bon Jovi's 12. Um, one Chester was like 11, six, if I remember correctly. something like I mean, here's the other thing too. Stern Stern's not ignoring this, right? Like they're seeing spooky's basis, 10 Bon Jovi was 12, uh, multimorphics 12, five or whatever is 12,000.
Speaker: I mean, i would not be shocked if we see a price increase. I mean, it's been four years since we've had a major price increase from Stern. it's It's coming down the pipeline. But here's the thing, though. People keep complaining about price, but then these games sell out. so Okay, that now, this is ah I will defend Stern here.
Speaker: This is an apples to oranges thing. True. In that there is a big difference between producing games at scale... versus at focused content.
Speaker: So ah ah focused numbers, excuse me. So you have spooky, limited number run, small run, um barrels of fun, same thing. Limited number run, small runs. You have Stern probably making 35,000 a year games.
Speaker: that is oh yeah That is a huge difference between a thousand machines a year. Yeah, they came and keep Godzilla's in stock, and that game's been out for how long now? Yeah. Zach was talking about this on the pinball show, or maybe it was Greg and Ken. If you haven't checked out the Flippin' Out channels, just do it. Just go subscribe, all that jazz. But seriously, like, insane of, like, they talk about they get a shipment of Godzilla premiums, and they're like, well, they're going to be able to sell these, and then they're gone. Like, they just don't sit.
Speaker: It is a totally different situation. And so this is where I, so again, I'll still defend Stern, because it is a different scenario. But ah you know what? Right now, <unk> i would put Barrels of Fun as a contender for, a i'm I'm not going to put S tier. I'm just going to A, B, and C tier for manufacturers.
Speaker: I'm putting Barrels of Fun as a contender for an A tier, and right now it's shaping up that they are an A tier. I agree. I think it's Stern, JJP, And barrels right now. yeah And i will I will say spooky is up there.
Speaker: I feel like there's. It's a different scenario though, right? Because we've talked about this, about know your audience, like know who you're selling to. Spooky knows their audience and they are nailing that. And Spooky, here's the thing with Spooky. Let's move on to Spooky. Barrels, congratulations. Awesome with Bon Jovi. I mean, in Spooky was referencing Bon Jovi in their recent videos and stuff like that. And granted, there's some history there too, because David used to work for Spooky. Whatever. If you want to dig into that, you can. But let's talk about Spooky.
Speaker: Obviously, Beetlejuice did fantastic. It sold out in less than 48 hours. Before he even showed... And then, ah evil dead is fantastic.
Speaker: You cannot buy one for a reasonable price, in my opinion, and the market on those are amazing. Okay. Can we just talk a second about evil dead? I finally watched that show and it is by far one of the stupidest films on the planet.
Speaker: It is so bad. i am sorry. It's terrible. It is horrible. I basically was watching it thinking, okay, Maybe I should be altered or or something. i you know Maybe the Diet Coke wasn't doing it for me.
Speaker: Did you just watch the first one? Did you not watch the second? An Army of Darkness? Come on now. I just watched the first one. It was so bad. It's definitely you have to put your mindset in the era of the time, right? like no I get it. I get it. but There were certainly some things and i'm like, ooh, this would have been a This would have been a big deal back then. Now it's, it's kind of like a Saturday afternoon at two o'clock scary.
Speaker: Yeah. I'm curious. So next week, no, no, sorry. Not next week, tomorrow, today. Sorry, we're recording on Wednesday. More likely I'll, I'll release this on Thursday. I'm going to try. Um, they're more than likely shown there. They've got flipping out. It's going be there. Chris Franchi is going to be there.
Speaker: They're doing bug screaming stream. They're giving away a Beelgeuse pinball machine. what the heck's going on? Are they getting ready to reveal their next game, which is rumored the rumored I'm hearing Goonies.
Speaker: What does that do for you? Nothing, nothing. Okay. For me, I, okay. I am a total outlier. Goonies is for my generation and I'm turning 52 this year.
Speaker: Goonies was the show that every kid loved watching. Yeah. yep And I think I saw it like once or twice and I thought it was fine. it didn't really do much for me, but now the license, it's a fantastic license.
Speaker: You're just at, you asked what it does it for me? It doesn't, but it does it for a lot of people. And so for that fact alone, I've, I've had a few texts in the background saying, Hey, is this Goonies rumor? Is it a solid rumor or is it a, a light rumor? I said, it's pretty solid. And I think that's, what's going to happen.
Speaker: Um, we have no insider information on that, but, uh, this is a great theme. So if they have Goonies coming out, My gosh, they're going to sell out in 24 hours. Well, let's be honest. I had someone reach out to me two weeks ago.
Speaker: We got talking about this and they said, Josh, do you know if it's Goonies or not? i'm like, I have not seen it. I know nothing from spooky. We have not talked about it. i don't know. And like, if it is Goonie, they said that they've already been since Beetlejuice trying to get on the list because they heard it was Goonies and they are not getting any promises or guarantees from any of the distributors that they've reached out to.
Speaker: Okay, then they should call Spooky directly right when it gets released and call the the phone number. And cross their fingers. Yes. so But that's what's crazy. What's crazy is is Spooky has now built a reputation of instant sellout.
Speaker: with without it They only have to show it, so long as it's the right theme. Great for them. that like Bug, whatever you're doing over there, you're doing it right. yeah the The art, by the way, Spooky nails art and getting Christopher Franchi involved. Now they they were nailing it from Halloween on.
Speaker: Yeah. Like they really have. Like every time I've seen their art package, I look at it and say, that is exactly what the art package should be. for the theme. And so they are nailing it that way. They are selectively, they're highly selective in which themes will work for their audience.
Speaker: Yes. And the only, i Halloween, yeah, it's a challenging game. It's ah it's not not a great game, but the theme is amazing for their audience. Ultraman, that was a miss. Everything else they have chosen has been a great theme for their audience.
Speaker: Well, and speaking of Franchi, ah One thing people have pointed out that is he does have an exclusivity cause with spooky and, but people are confused because galactic tank force just did a hundred victory additions. And that was artwork done by Franchi. And then um they also American had released another edition of Houdini was was like the hundredth edition or whatever. And that had new artwork by Christopher Franchi. My understanding is,
Speaker: is Franchi had already done these projects previously. I know that I was told about Houdini. It was a year before the the major layoffs, which has been two years now, coming up in two years in January.
Speaker: And they're they're trying to reboot the company. Good for them. yeah Good for that for them. Franchi's only been exclusive for two years now. It was exclusivity with Evil Dead, right? like I think they announced it like the September before Evil Dead. Yeah.
Speaker: But still, so he had already done the Houdini project. He had already done the Galactica Tank 4 stuff. He was the original artist on that as well. So it's not like Frenchie's going out and getting new licenses. It's not like he's doing new licenses. And I think the only other one that he might be involved with, if it's even still happening, was the rumored Back to the Future from Dutch Pinball. Yeah. Which now they're redoing Lebowski. Yeah. Man, we haven't even heard about them. like yeah Well, they just they just announced this week they're doing a Jesus edition of Big Lebowski. A Jesus edition? Or Jesus. I can't. Sorry. i apologize.
Speaker: Are you sure it's not not like an Uzi Jesus edition? ay i believe No, no. not a I mean, speaking of American, mean, American, my opinion, Brian Vinson.
Speaker: Holy crap. This guy is doing great right now. Um, they did the, like I said, we did the, they did the the Houdini additions. They've now done a victory edition of Galactic Tank Force, very limited run of a hundred.
Speaker: They've teased that they have Circus Volterra and they're doing something new with it. Not like they're, they're doing a fresh take on it. Right. I don't know if that means your code or if that just means revamping the art and stuff like that.
Speaker: I'm excited. This guy is producing games. He's only been, i think they announced, was it uh January that he took over like within a year yeah yeah it hasn't been very long because it it seemed like they did all those mass firings and then there was a lull for a year for American and then Brian took over yeah and Brian said my understanding was a clean break is what was was reported and so Mike seriously this I Circus Volterra I love that game yeah that is the first game I remember playing
Speaker: when I got involved in pinball, uh, physically. And so I'm, I'm excited. Like, I'm excited to see what American's doing now. And I want to see the quality on these games. i mean, that was one complaint before the bright visit visit Vincent era.
Speaker: I want to see now how these games are doing. and we'll, we'll probably be able to play them at expo. So, so American, it's more of a, Show me what you can do.
Speaker: So American is definitely in a, it's in an area where I have no idea what to expect. Like they've they've had, like four reboots. If this is a clean break, that's fine.
Speaker: It's, it's a clean break with some tail, I guess with their previous projects. Yeah. So it's, it's not necessarily a clean break, but it's a you know, I understand if they're like, it's a new company, they have, they have intellectual property that they can try to, to a proof of concept to say, Hey, how can we, can we make games?
Speaker: And can we produce them and can they be quality games? You know? Yeah, agree. And it's a clean break in leadership. So it, well, and the facility is still there, but they basically had to rebuild a company and yeah companies go through this all the time.
Speaker: Um, there's probably about ah thousand galactic tank force pinball, uh, play fields out there. And I would be happy. I would proudly display one of those on my wall because I don't think they're going to make a thousand, thousand of those games, but the artwork's fun. So I'm really hoping that they are able to do a proof of concept with Circus Voltaire. And if they can reboot their original games, uh, like new versions of original games, I'm interested to see what they have.
Speaker: Um, they have not wowed me in the past so i'm hoping they'll they'll do something different in the future i agree so i think that pretty much does it for our list outside of um cgc is shipping upside down in boxes you know ah here's the challenge with cgc is it feels like they have they've kind of dropped off a little bit in quality i would say in focus um i did i did a calculation ah It's been 10 years and they've made five games, including Pulp Fiction. excuse me
Speaker: yeah that's That is slow. um Well, and it was always when Butch Pill worked there, it was fine if we're slow, so long as what comes out of the gate is quality. The quality is now questionable. i think Reqladi has been questionable the last two releases. Yeah. um And so who knows what's happening there.
Speaker: um I'm wishing them well. I truly do. ah the Same. The upgrade for Cactus Canyon is amazing. if you If you have a Cactus Canyon and you don't have the upgrade, you need to have the upgrade because it does totally upgrade the the play experience.
Speaker: Uh, I do find it interesting, like Merlin, the Merlin edition selling for less than what it was shipping new in box, but the Royal edition selling for like 18, five or more. It's which I don't really understand. um I, I think the Merlin edition looks better.
Speaker: So, uh, okay, this is the challenge that you're going to see. Um, i my personal take as a fan and just a podcaster They're making a mistake by not releasing just a standard edition with Silverlegs.
Speaker: Just going back, that's that's the version i originally bought. Now I have done some things to to upgrade my personal ah my my personal one. And I actually have a Merlin edition too.
Speaker: But I think they're making a mistake with not allowing the the basic version to be sold at like an 8,000 price point. They seem to be chasing after these these limited edition. and I'm sure there's there's probably a bigger margin. and There's gotta be a chief financial officer that's gone through and said, look There's a Lafferty curve about how, how far, like how many do we have to sell at this price point to make money versus at this price point. And so they've done the analysis. They're smart. You know, they should be smart people, right?
Speaker: um They, if you want to be able to get, to get people to continue to buy them, I think all the people who want the high end edition of medieval madness, I think they have them. ah There is a market for the entry level medieval madness that really should be made.
Speaker: And you know what? I wish that they would consider doing that. um There's rumors of possibly going back to the well and attack from Mars and and that. So I wish them well. I just haven't heard a peep from them. Anything else, Josh, other than the picture of the box that was shipped upside down? Yeah. Other than that, I'm i' now...
Speaker: Okay. But they'll say release another re they might go back to the well on a different remake that isn't medieval madness. Now yeah maybe I just, I have a hard time with these 90 Valley Williams games. I felt like page writing is doing a good job with like redoing it and giving it a little fresh lift.
Speaker: Uh, they're going to revamp the code. It sounds like may not, they're going to make it more, more depth without being so wood choppy. So we'll see. it's hard because,
Speaker: there's a handful. i mean, you got American now it's going making Valley Williams remakes. remakes. It just, it becomes one of these things where it's like where all these companies are making it and CGC only has, I mean, they have arguably the four most valuable ones out of that whole cattle. Absolutely. No question.
Speaker: No question. So the, okay. so do you want to talk about Pendretti a little bit? Yeah, let's talk about Pedretti and your part of that reveal as well. We were. And okay. And, I, you know, the totem actually is great.
Speaker: there There was the limited edition, which did sell out. It was gone before. I think they even revealed it. It was insane. And then they have, they they are they calling it they're calling it the legacy edition, right?
Speaker: Correct. Yeah. So it's the legacy edition, which is, it is the classic artwork with basically powder coating light, light effects and everything else. It looks basically, it looks like a lot of games that people would buy the nineties, the Valley Williams games. And in the, in the dark era, era you know, in the, in the two thousands, they would powder coat everything, make it look really nice, but lights on. it It looks like that, which is great.
Speaker: um No, I agree. i and so they're selling those two versions. I, My personal opinion is the same thing. i They really are missing something in just having a standard edition that could be around 8,000 or something like that.
Speaker: ah Again, that's their decision. And um we ordered one. I ordered one with my friend, the legacy edition. So I'll be getting one. I'll be getting hands-on experience with this, and I'll be able to tell you more about that.
Speaker: ah That will be, I'm hoping that this is a great option for Pedretti and I'm really excited to get my hands on it. We will see, right? Because Funhaus was, I would say was a moderate success.
Speaker: ah We'll see if they're able to see and follow it up. Yeah. And I've really, honestly, I really have enjoyed my fun house. I know some people have had issues with theirs outside. I think a one switch online, which was a piece of cake to replace.
Speaker: I really haven't had much issue. I think the only issue I like, there has been some issue with the code, um which is like adjustment of like sound levels and stuff like that. And you can go through and adjust that, whatever. But like it's, I'm glad to hear that the team that did all the CGC remakes is now at Pedretti on Totan and driving forward. So I, it puts a lot more faith cause those, those games are pretty fantastic. so Yeah. They, they did a fantastic job with, I own all four of them. The only, the only one I don't own is Pulp Fiction.
Speaker: So I'm excited. I think overall it's, it's, it's great. Pedretti is hitting it on the net, the nail on the head. So long as they can get these shipped out in a timely manner. mean, again, i would just humbly suggest considering a standard edition at 8,000. That's just more of retro edition because you will collect more people who are interested by doing that. i agree. And I disagree. I think right now,
Speaker: the only people are going to buy a certain, uh, a game like totan are pinball enthusiasts. and I think pinball enthusiasts want the greatest example. I'm not opposed to a classic edition like the fun house at 7,500 is what it was at.
Speaker: But I also do see, um, a reason why ah your your baseline's 11 K now with totan, especially where, the secondary market is already at that price point. Why would you dip $3,000 under it when, when the used markets are already selling? Okay. But, but medieval madness, when it came out, they were 17,000 and that's 10 years ago.
Speaker: So those have come down to, and I, you are missing something though. Like I have a rental. If there were a medieval madness for $8,000, I would buy it and put it there, but I'm not going to put $12,000 game in there.
Speaker: yeah I get that. So, all righty. I think that pretty much wraps it up. I want to point out, talk about Turner Turner. Well, that's what I about to say. i was going to point out, ah I guess Don's pinball podcast bought a Yukon Yeti from Turner and they pack packaged it extra special for him. If you haven't seen it, go to Turner pinballs Facebook page.
Speaker: It's hilarious. It is great.
