When I was in my third year of pottery, second year of pottery, I was trying to make a lot of pottery. And I was trying to make a lot of mugs because I wanted to sell them. That's what I wanted to do. I wanted to try to sell them. But I wasn't trying to really improve my pottery, you could say, all that much. I just wanted to really just sell my pottery. And that's really all I wanted to do.

it's going to be a lot easier for you to start making pottery that looks truly unique because each piece will get better and better and better and better and it starts stacking. Remember a few episodes ago, I talked about the atomic habits and how success grows by 1%. It's the same thing with your pottery. If you make each piece better in the next one, it's going to start stacking and stacking and stacking and stacking and you're going to uncover your voice that way.

instead of just going into pottery and just making, because it's, I don't know, maybe fun, it is fun to make pottery, but it's more fun when you start seeing more progress with your pottery and your pottery starts looking better and looking better and looking better and looking better. That's why I suggest going in and trying to improve your pottery almost every single time you're making. Each
