But, she's tired of the rent being too high, transit being nonexistent and Black lives not mattering at all in most cities, even though we created many of the arts and cultural institutions in them. I grew up watching Sesame Street and visiting my grandparents on their small roll farms in Homestead in the 1990's South. I get a rush when I take the DC Metro, but I get sad when I look at how much of my budget is going to expenses and seeing folks who look like I'm dead instead of driving.
