Speaker: Let's just talk a little bit about your Serie A career because it's actually linked to this Italy team. You played for six different Serie A clubs but your first was Fiorentina. Your manager at Fiorentina or at the start of that season was the current Italy coach Roberto Mancini in his first ever managerial job. Now what was he like to play under and could you tell them that he would go on to become one of the world's best managers?
Speaker: The following is a clip from this week's Italian football podcast.
Speaker: Definitely. I saw in him already a player. He was joining in an England site before as a kind of player manager already before he came to Fiorentina. And you could see he's ready to take this new adventure on to become a coach. And you knew straight away he had his staff, he was organized, he had his way of football. And unfortunately it didn't help at Fiorentina because there was other reasons. But it definitely helped him through his career now as he became one of those top managers in Europe.
Speaker: And we have to ask you, what is your prediction for the game, Italy -Austria? They need to beat us first, but they can go till the end, definitely.
