Speaker: Welcome to Ministry Moment. We have been talking about finances and we ended last time. That's a part, part one is it? Part three. That's why you see we wear the same clothes because we have to, but have to keep, you know, keep the flow. So I love ah Yeah, we just decided we're going to keep on this topic. yeah Well, and last time we were starting to talk about how the disciples were wealthy to the point where when Jesus said, hey, it's hard for wealthy people to enter into the kingdom, they were like, oh,
Speaker: then who can be saved? Right? Because he was talking about getting into the city. They were shocked. Go back and listen to that. We explain what the eye of the needle is. Yeah, because they were wealthy and Jesus was wealthy. So they became really, really, really concerned when Jesus said, i now think about this too.
Speaker: You know, you had a tax collector. Yeah. Who, he was wealthy. he And he gave back what he had stolen and whatever. But he, obviously he felt not only blessed, but he was in a place financially where his family was still being taken care of. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Even though he left his job as a tax collector, which.
Speaker: And also ah Luke was a doctor. Yeah. So you just. Most muslima physicians are wealthy people. They have money. They have substance.
Speaker: And it said very wealthy women supported yeah Jesus' jesus a ministry. So it wasn't like yeah you know people were giving like a one penny. No, no. And he had a boat. Yeah. Jesus had a boat. Did you know that? And also he has house.
Speaker: And Kaepernick. And Kaepernick. Near the river or the lake. Yeah. Hey, house to the lake is not cheap. Mm-hmm. You'll read your Bible. Don't just listen to someone's religious opinion.
Speaker: Go read your Bible. And people who are against giving, they are the most broke people. are. Period. yeah Because anyone anything that you criticize, that is a proof that you are not.
Speaker: what they were telling you or other people. In Proverbs it says, if you're generous you'll be rich and if you're stingy you'll be poor. ne poor yeah That's the new paraphrase to tell subversion but that's what it says. Let me explain to you. Poverty is bad.
Speaker: Yeah, it is. all right nay don't Don't take a vowed vow of poverty in your life. yeah You need to refuse to be broke. You need to refuse to be poor. Even right now, you know, some of you, you you know, ah you you you have an issue to to have all your ends meet or to have enough money.
Speaker: Let me tell you something. You have done everything. You you you you know how to budget money. oh You have a job, good pay, but you there's no you are not enjoying the blessing.
Speaker: It is possible. You know why? Because poverty, it is a spiritual thing. Or it is the devil is stopping you to enjoy the works of your hands. Don't just just take it lightly. Take it seriously.
Speaker: And like Jesus said, you shall cast out devils. It is a spirit of poverty that you have to resist. yeah You have to... Command that spirit to get his hands off of your finances. In the name of Jesus, I pray for you.
Speaker: Before we continue this, I pray for you. for you I pray for every business owner. I pray for those who have, you know, you are not a get you are no you are not getting all your needs meet at the end of the month.
Speaker: I decree, I pray that God, the God of Abraham will surprise you, you know, yeah this, this ah yeah right now in the name of Jesus. I pray for increase to find you.
Speaker: And I commission the host, the angels of God, The angels of finances to locate everything that belongs to you and cause that money to come into your hand. In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, we decree that you are blessed. yeah You are blessed. You know, for sake of time, let's continue this.
Speaker: And I don't want to, don't want to, I don't want I want to make sure people understand the importance of giving. yeah There's no, you can, nobody can out giving God. That's right. Well, and I just wanted give to him, you get blessed if for your own benefit.
Speaker: And well, and there's so many scriptures we could go through But one of the things, because you were talking about the enemy. um And so I just wanted to mention tithing really quick, because I think that's important for us to talk about.
Speaker: Just as a highlight, we're not going to go super in depth. But in the King James Version, I know I usually use the New Living Translation. But for this, I want to go to King James um and ma Malachi chapter three, starting in verses 10.
Speaker: And I'm just going to read this. And just to give you a preview, we're not going to dive into this. But yes, tithing is still for today. Hebrews chapter eight or seven, sorry, says that Jesus receives our tithes. That's New Testament. He's still there, still expects the tithes.
Speaker: When Jesus was here, he told the Pharisees that they should tithe. He did. Right? It's in the Bible. Go find it. It doesn't even make sense. Yeah, yeah. You know, that if you love God and the Bible says you should be rejoicing.
Speaker: Why would you argue about tithing? Tithing. It's only 10%. You're telling me that you love Jesus and you have an issue giving him 10% of your income? That's close. Come on now. All right.
Speaker: Anyway, let's get back to the word. Common sense. Common sense. It's not for chicken. It's not. You spend more. Most people spend more on that on McDonald's. Yeah. Anyway.
Speaker: All right. Malachi chapter three, verse 10. It says, bring me all, not some, all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in my house.
Speaker: Now, again, this was God's economy. It was his way to provide for the ministry um that of the priest churches, right, was the tithe. So right there, you see, if bring the tithes there's blessing. Next verse, verse 11.
Speaker: and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it so right there you see if you bring the ties in there's blessing next verse verse eleven
Speaker: and I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes. Pause. So, in other words, when you tithe, you activate God to rebuke the devourer for your sake. Now, my lightning fast mind says then,
Speaker: If I'm not tithing, then God's not rebuking the devourer for my sake. And sometimes that's why we're having people are having financial difficulty is because they're not tithing. You know, it's just like, I like to think about it like in, you know,
Speaker: we're here in the U.S., whatever country you're in, we pay taxes. And part of our taxes go to pay for the army to protect our nation and the police to protect us, right? That's kind of like your tithe. You're paying.
Speaker: and You're not really... it's not But it's similar, right? There's then this authority that comes to protect you. All right, so I'm going to go on. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sake. And he shall not destroy the fruit of your ground. In other words...
Speaker: Your tithe protects the fruit or what comes from the seed you put in the ground. What is that seed? Those are your offerings. So in other words, your tithe creates a barrier to protect the enemy from being able to steal from the harvest of the offerings that you give. If you aren't tithing, then the enemy isn't rebuked from coming after the seed of your harvest so you're giving offerings but if you aren't tithing to start with then the enemy isn't rebuked off of that and you need that all right neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field says the lord of hosts love that yeah we could spend so much time going into that but i just wanted to point that out number one
Speaker: A tithe, it causes the devourer to be rebuked off of you and your family. But number two, it keeps the enemy from being able to steal the harvest from the other seeds that you sow.
Speaker: Tithing is so very, very important. And you know, for me, can I just tell you, I i like to... Look, you the word of God is always, always, always our standard. But sometimes we can look at in our life, do you know, when I got saved, before i ever started going to church, I read almost the entire Bible.
Speaker: It was never a question from me. I just knew that I was going to tithe. um and There were a couple of things when I started going to church that I was like, You believe what? But I read the Bible and that does not line up with the Bible.
Speaker: um And tithing was one of those things. I just knew, nope, I'm going to tithe. I've tithed from the moment I got saved. Amen. That's for your own benefit. Nobody told me. No one had to tell me. to The Holy Spirit told me I should.
Speaker: No one else had to tell me. You know, and that that shows us that, you know, you are like your father because you carry the the same spirit, the spirit of giving. yeah The Bible said, God so loved you and he gave. Yeah. All right.
Speaker: and Because the love of God he gave, he was obligated to give his only begotten. Well, so all of that, yeah you know. And what was that? What like the most valuable thing? Yeah. Right. That he could give himself himself. Yeah.
Speaker: There's nothing more, right? There's nothing more precious than you could give in your own life. Wow. Right? That's powerful. And he was willing to give his own. He gave everything for us.
Speaker: And we want to complain about 10%. No, no. on. You know, i think I think, again, you know, when the Bible says, book of Hosea, that my people, you know, are...
Speaker: suffering for lack of what knowledge. yeah They have allowed the devil to wash their brain. So don't let it that happen to you though. Be honest with yourself. Do you like where you are right now?
Speaker: Or do you want to see more financial financial blessing in your life? Of course, go and talk to broke people. They don't like it. yeah Don't tell me that people love to be broke. You kidding me.
Speaker: Don't go to work, just stay home. All your bill will be paid off.
Speaker: If you don't work, you won't eat. That's awesome. That's what the Bible says. Yes, it does. Having more than enough, it is a blessing. It is. it is a it sets you free from the pressure, the stress.
Speaker: Some people are so stressed out today because of their financial pressure. Nobody likes Let show you. know let me let me show you Who is the blessed? Can I say something real quick, though? Because you said something powerful at the the Bible study. you You said sometimes people say, but I don't have anything to give.
Speaker: And you said, but you have clothes. You know what? you have all I'm going to read. I'm going to. I think you you were kind of ahead of the whole game, but that's OK. You know, that's OK. Let's go the book of Matthew.
Speaker: 13 verse 12 all right book of Matthew 13 verse 12 we're gonna read this scripture so I'm gonna explain something to you how you know to show you that it is possible for you to move yourself from that level of your financial condition right now to the next level you can easily propel yourself you can easily move forward in your life in your giving, in your fund and in your in that state of or your financial condition can be changed if you want to see the changes in your life.
Speaker: Book of Matthew. Well, and I think too just that it's seed time and harvest. And you harvest time. So don't give once and be like, oh, it didn't work. Or I tithe once. it No, no, no. There's seed time.
Speaker: and there's harvest and so okay Matthew 13. Yeah the Bible says you have okay for whosoever hath all right that's King james's kim James version or say hey whosoever has let let me explain that first nobody would tell me that they don't have anything Every human being have something. That's what God is telling you. If you read the whole context, he's talking about financial blessing.
Speaker: Now, why, you know, all right, I'm getting excited. I'm ahead of myself. It says, says whosoever has, all right, it says to him shall be given.
Speaker: The fact that you are recognized or acknowledging that you are blessed by God, it says God will keep blessing you. The fact that you know that you have something.
Speaker: Let's keep that scripture. So I'm going to read a scripture. going to kind of explain that way. Just keep so people can see it. Some people may not have their Bible, but they can see that I'm not just making up a story here.
Speaker: It says, for whosoever has what to him shall be given, and and he shall have more abundance. That means that God will multiply.
Speaker: what you have in your hand. Okay, see, now listen to this. that The next phase or the next um ah part of this verse, B-U-T, change everything.
Speaker: Okay, the moment or whosoever has what? Whosoever has not. The moment you profess that you don't have anything, like people always, they are proud to say that. I don't have anything.
Speaker: I don't have anything. The Bible says, well, from you, it shall be taken away from you. yeah the The moment you profess that I don't have anything, the little that you have, that you thought that you don't have anything, that things that you have in your home shall be taken away from you.
Speaker: That means that you ah you have prophesied over your own yourself. And words that you speak will find you, will cause you to become what you have said.
Speaker: ubi You are a prophet for your own finances in the name of Jesus. Either you like or not. That's what the Bible is telling you. That never, that's what telling people that, don't you ever say to yourself or to anybody that I don't have anything. No, you are lying.
Speaker: ah Liars who will never go to heaven.
Speaker: That's what the Bible says. Yeah. Well, yeah. And especially if you live in the United States. Yeah. Can I just say, and the principles of God work no matter what country you live in, matter where you are. Yeah. I think the Bible, yeah.
Speaker: If you live in the United States, just by being here, you are in the one top 1% of wealth of the world. you You are one of the richest people in the world. Wow. You didn't even know it.
Speaker: You have something you can get. Amen. you know and that's why i was saying that it doesn't make don't don't when i said don't don't don't say that i don't have anything no you can't find money in everything your clothes that you have in your home yeah it's money it's not you know what i'm saying you can find money on it you got something if i if you look under your couch couch is in your home you're going to find some quarter or some penny something yeah you know look at the problem people don't know how to find things That's that's the issue. well They are blinded. Something that I did when I was ah young, before I was married, is I sowed seeds sometimes of watching people's kids for free or babysit them for free, right?
Speaker: there Everybody has something that you can sow seed. Something that can give. Go to your pantry. go You're going to find something. yeah you know and Everybody, all of us, we have something. Now, the dangerous part of diverse that see, if you keep saying to yourself, I don't have anything,
Speaker: Even the Bible says, the little, the little that you have shall be taken away from you. And that's why poor people, people who thought or always thinking about, i don't have any anything or still broke.
Speaker: The more you keep declaring that, you will become what you speak. well and i think that And God said to you that, no, you are lying. You got something to give. Yeah, and well, and that ties well to the parable we were sharing in Matthew 25 that the one that had the least was afraid. And so they didn't invest or do anything with what was given to them.
Speaker: And what they had was taken away from them. Because if you're stingy, it doesn't matter. Look, it doesn't matter how much money you have. It's what you do with what you have. Remember, the widow that gave the two mites, she gave everything she had.
Speaker: And Jesus said she gave more than anyone else, right? So you can be the brokest person and give the most, or you can be the brokest person and give nothing. And if you give nothing, you're gonna end up in poverty. yeah it's It's a spiritual law. And I think Proverbs 11, 24 and I'm read this. okay It says Give freely and become more wealthy.
Speaker: Be stingy and lose everything. The generous will prosper. Those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.
Speaker: So I just love that. If you give freely, you're going to become more wealthy. If you are stingy, you're going to lose everything. Amen. Amen. And it is God who makes people rich. It is. I'm going to give you another scripture. Book of Samuel.
Speaker: First Samuel. This is in the Old Testament. First Samuel chapter 2, verse 8. I'm going to show you that, let you know that it is God who blesses people.
Speaker: When God blesses you, no one can take it away from you. And every born-again believer is being blessed by God. and man The only thing that is making people broke, okay, and and and become subject to financial pressure is because of lack of knowledge.
Speaker: Let's read this. and The Bible says... he raises why He raises the poor out of the dust. Talking about God raises the poor out of the dust.
Speaker: That's his passion, his vision for your life. And lift them up. And God, what? He lifts up why the beggar from the downhill. Mm-hmm.
Speaker: the downhill and set them among princes. Wow, listen to this. It's God that blesses people. He's the one who ah are always stands, extends his hand to lift you up out of that situation.
Speaker: And he did it already. Through Jesus. That's what Jesus came to fulfill. So we don't have to be broke. He's not talking about spiritual riches here. Look, if you know your Bible, you know i thought about a program, kid you know and understanding the spiritual realm.
Speaker: If you understand the spiritual realm, there is no way anybody that is blessed spiritually and being being being broke, you know, in the natural. No, because the spiritual realm controls the physical.
Speaker: There is one people don't get blessed, you know, in the in the in the in the physical realm because you don't know how to apply the principles. God's law. There's so many. There's a lot of gravity.
Speaker: It doesn't matter if you are, you know, which country you came from. If you don't follow, you don't follow that law, you will know. You get broken. They will pick you out in pieces, you know, from the ground.
Speaker: Because there's a law in place for you to enjoy the life on this earth. You have to comply to the law of gravity. God is not going to change that. Same thing, there's a law of financial increase. There's a principles set in place by God himself. oh man And he said to mankind, you don't have to be a Christian or you don't have, it has nothing to do with if you are a believer, you are not a believer.
Speaker: Most of them, most of the time, believers are, they don't want to do anything. Right. And they expect God to do everything. It's not going to happen. God is not going to change the law because of you are born again.
Speaker: It is a law applied to all of us and righteous and righteous people. So it's up to you to go back to the scriptures and to look into the scriptures and to find what exactly is going on and and and and and listen to God's instruction.
Speaker: And ask him questions. The Holy Spirit is a great teacher. He will teach you how to get out of your financial situation. and I'm going to encourage you.
Speaker: Don't leave the Holy Spirit out. yeah Bring him into your life, into your finances. Bring the Holy Spirit into your daily ah ah making decisions. bring Let the Holy Spirit be your best partner.
Speaker: Wow. Let the Holy Spirit be involved in your finances. And if he asks you, remember, he's the one who made you. You're 25 years ahead of you. Holy Spirit knows every detail. He knows where to find the money.
Speaker: Yeah. Well, and, you know, when you were talking, I was just thinking about when they needed to pay taxes. Right. Yeah. Right there. Jesus gave Peter the wisdom.
Speaker: He was a fisherman. That's what Peter's trade was. And he said, you go and use the skill that God has given you. Wow. That's beautiful. the harvest of what you need.
Speaker: He didn't make the money fall out of the sky. No. He didn't. Everything is undeserved. Yeah. and And I think sometimes people have this misconception. it The Bible says that God will give you the wisdom to get wealth. Right? Yeah.
Speaker: In other words, the wisdom on how to do it, the Holy Spirit will tell you what it is that you need to to know to do. Think about when the widow went to Elijah and said, hey, there's all these debts that need paid off.
Speaker: What the prophet did was give her wisdom on how to build the wealth. yeah She had to go out and get the jars. She had to pour the oil. ah She had to do something, right?
Speaker: She had her role to play. And so I think that's really important. What you're saying is you need to listen to the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. because he might give you a business idea. He might tell you to do something differently than how you've been doing things, but he will give you wisdom when you start to see him with your finances.
Speaker: And and go ignore say the other thing that I had, I wanted to say is that your finances also, if you say you honor God, how, what is one of the ways that the Bible says to honor God?
Speaker: It's with your wealth. Yeah. Proverbs 3, 9 says, honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.
Speaker: Then you will fill. Yeah, the best, the best. Then he will fill your barns with grain and your vats with overflow with good wine. And just I just wanted to say on that you you pointed out best, best. Remember when in the book of Malachi,
Speaker: God was not happy because of the offerings that they were bringing. He was like, you say you honor me and this is what you bring me? say, take it to your garden. say.
Speaker: So you think about that. Do you really think now if Jesus came down from heaven in person, is your giving honoring God? Is that what you would bring him? Your $20? What are you doing now?
Speaker: Because you're giving it to Jesus now. What you're doing with your wealth, with your life now, are you honoring Jesus truly? If he was physically standing in front of you, would you be proud of what you're offering? Yeah.
Speaker: I think it is the hard issue. yeah You know, your giving you know will will reflect your love for God. yeah Let me repeat did what I just said. It's a new revelation. I need to explain a little bit.
Speaker: what you give will reflect the level oh ah ah the level of your love for Jesus. yeah So I'm going to encourage you.
Speaker: Isn't that difficult? He said, God said, he gives what? Seed to the one that gives. So if there is a lot of people don't have because they are not a givers.
Speaker: I just read a scripture to prove to you Because they they did they are blinded by the devil. And it's hard for them to see that they have something.
Speaker: No, the fact that you have received Jesus, you have, hey, we are heir. I like that. And now that they talk, for sake of time, we are possessors of all things.
Speaker: We are joint heir with Jesus. 100%, 100%. Everything that he owns yeah is to you. Paul said that all things are yours. Everything. Wow. Everything. So there's nobody like anything.
Speaker: You know, i always say this. Some of the third country, you know i have a great testimony I want to share next time about this pastor. You know, we we made a decision to support him financially. And I get, I believe the Holy Spirit through me spoke to him.
Speaker: Sometimes we think people in a third world country are broke financially. No, poverty, like I said, poverty is not lack of staff. It's not because you don't have, ah you know, physically what you you want make you poor people. It is a spiritual thing. It is a mindset.
Speaker: If you can change a person's mindset and you can help them to understand, they can produce wealth. yeah that's That's the answer to what is taking place some of the third world countries. always said, Africa full of a lot of wealth. it is Trust me. yeah That diamond that we, you know, this stuff, yeah it came from Africa. yeah But it is the mindset of the people who are What? Cause them to be broke. And can I just, cause you're sick. And corruptions. Yeah.
Speaker: And the principles of God work no matter where you are. And if you just take a step back, be objective and you look at, okay, what nations, the United States is the most blessed nation because we're a nation who is founded on God to serve God. And we have funded it preaching the gospel around the world more than any other nation. Yeah. End of story. It's the blessing of God. Amen. So for sake of time, wow, this is so good. Give me five.
Speaker: All righty. This is an awesome message. You know, our ah mi greatest and our greatest desire is for, can I tell once I pray, so you and i we can frustrate the purpose of the devil yeah through giving.
Speaker: That's the reason why we are very passionate about this. yeah Because we need to win more soul for Jesus. yeah Jesus' return is so close. yeah Trust me. Nobody knows the day yet, but we have to live as though Jesus is coming back tomorrow. right There's so many life will depend on you.
Speaker: yeah your obedience. Let's do it together. So if you want to be part of what God is doing through this ministry, you know, I'm going to say Holland Hope Mission because we are involved so many things. Salve for ministry.
Speaker: And we want you to give. You know, you are making a difference and we need each and every one of you. So we need we need your partnership so we can make a difference.
Speaker: I want to make Jesus happy. You know, like I said, we we are making a decision to support 10 pastors. We're going to sponsor. we're gonna We're going to help them so they can go into the field and preach the gospel.
Speaker: So thank you so much. We want to thank all our partners for your sacrifice and your love for God and your love for us and the love for the people. So may God bless you because you remember the poor.
Speaker: God will open the book of remembrance and God will remember you. May whatever you desire, may God meet your needs. May God heals your body. Psalm 41, the Bible says, he that gives to the needy in the bed of affliction, God said, I will remember you and I will heal your body. I will lose you from down that infirmity and place you in that place of divine health.
Speaker: And ah but we speak this over you. I prophesy. someone God is healing you because you are saying right now out of your mouth that oh I've been given i have supported you know a lot of orphanage I have given but my there's no change in my situation but let let me tell you something the Spirit of God want me to tell you that today this moment is your set time to tell you sing a new song. yeah The Book of Remembrance is open before the Almighty and the angels of the Messiah God are declaring, europe up calling out your name for tremendous favor.
Speaker: May you sing a new song. May God blesses you in the name of Jesus. That cancer is removed out of your body. In Jesus' mighty name, we agree with you.
Speaker: Thank you, Father. Thank you right now. God is touching many people. You are a giver, but things are not working on for you now because of this message. God is doing something powerful in your life. Wow. Rejoice.
Speaker: because you have become an answer to many. And God is remembering you right now. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. You know, I believe this has just been so powerful.
