Speaker: Welcome to Ministry Moment. We are so glad to have you here today. You and David got to do something fun. Oh, yes. It was a very, very touching moment to see how everything plays out, you know, and nothing like it. So I can't thank, you know, our pastors enough for, you know, inviting us to be on a set with him, you know, in such time as to see, you know, you know god's Goodness, you know what saying? Sometimes, you know, people will say, oh, I am blessed. Sometimes people that speak into your life, you know, are a good sign that you are really blessed. And we won't be where we are today if it wasn't because of our pastors. And so I'm so thankful for that.
Speaker: And it's special to see our oldest son to witness to be a part of, ah you know, so it is a testimony. It is. so So you and our oldest son, David, both got to be on Get Real with Hank. Yeah. Right. Which is. Get real. not No fake. Don't. and No. Don't fake. No fake. It's real. It's real.
Speaker: And it hasn't changed for thousands of years. But it was ah such a blessing. um Pastors, Hank and Pastor Brenda have been our pastors for a very long time.
Speaker: For me, since I was 18, they've been my pastors. I moved here right after I turned 19. And so it was just a blessing to see our son be able to grow up in the house and now be able to be on the show with you and Pastor Hank. Yeah, it it is a a testimony of God's faithfulness. That's the key. You know, anyone, you know, i always like to say this. It is very pleasant to serve God.
Speaker: When we stay faithful, He always... you know honor us our actions our love for him it pays off to love God and to serve him faithfully and something that you know you are whatever you do in the house of God stay faithful with it because that you are planting the seed yeah and and you will always reap the harvest nothing like a seed of honor you have to no not because we do everything perfect but You know what I'm saying? Right. so We're people of honor. and I think you're going to really enjoy um this episode. You're going to be blessed. And stay tuned. And we'll be right back.
Speaker: Get real with fame. Welcome to Get Real. And this is really... of violin. And I know you're looking at it going, well, that's not the way you play it. Listen, we keep it real here. and don't even know how to play this thing, but I'm so glad you joined us because today we're going to talk about something that sometimes happens when you have to wait.
Speaker: You can start whining. You can start getting into tears. Getting into fear. That kind of rhymed. But the point is, sometimes when it comes to waiting, waiting on God, waiting for answers to prayer, what do you do? Well, we're gonna keep it simple. We're gonna keep it real. And we're gonna take our violins and we're gonna lay them aside, our feelings aside.
Speaker: And we're gonna talk about principles today that is going to accelerate prayer in your life. And not only that, I've got a very, very special, well, two guests today.
Speaker: And wait till you hear what they have to say that's gonna empower your life and really cause the waiting that you've been in to come into a season of manifestation. Let's keep it real. I'm ready to join you right now.
Speaker: Are you ready for real
Speaker: really unpredictable?
Speaker: Listen, I think it's gonna be fantastic. I think it's gonna be absolutely huge.
Speaker: All right, you ready to keep it real? I promised that I had two guests and I had to pay one a lot of lunch coupons to get them here. Let's welcome Pastor Doji and his son, David. Welcome to the show. And i had to get you a bunch of coupons for lunch.
Speaker: I'm talking about Pastor Doji. See, thought it was David. No, they agreed to come on the show. Well, hey, listen, I'm so proud of you, first of all, as yeah as as a son, but I'm proud of your son.
Speaker: So I guess it makes me a ah grandpa or something like that. But you have trained him well, and I came across the clip where David, you are talking about waiting.
Speaker: It was amazing. We're gonna show that clip in just a moment and you don't wanna miss it. So, welcome to the show. Is there anything you wanna do to greet the people before we get started? You wanna say anything? Thank you for having me. You've been a great influence to my life.
Speaker: Wow, thank you. And tell those people hi. Hi. Tell them to door dash us some food before the show is over. DoorDash food, we need it. Yeah, we can put the address up for those you that want to DoorDash. We're not picky eaters. We like anything that's hamburgers and ice cream and all of that, you know.
Speaker: How about you? Anything you want to say? eat the pe It is ah you know ah an amazing you know and great opportunity to to be on the set with you. Thank you. And it's with you know having David also.
Speaker: So i want to take your time to say thank you for the impartation to my life. And joyful house will be always forever to you. We're grateful. And so I'm so excited for what God is going to do. Thank you. you know I appreciate Pastor Dogey here because not only he a man of prayer, but if I need something, this guy goes and Googles it. I mean, he's an electrician. He is, you know, maintenance, landscaping. you You got, you like got all these talents, man. So talking you talking about talent, I heard you play an instrument. Yeah, drums. You play drums. You ever played a violin? Nope.
Speaker: I've been learning how play these things. All right. Let me show you how real quick. Let's jam for a second. Ready? Go.
Speaker: See, it even plays when I don't even play. That's how good I am. See, the strings just keep vibrating going on. All right. You're ready. All alright the reason I did that, guys, is sometimes, and those of you that are watching, is, and we mentioned this at the beginning of the show, that sometimes when it comes to waiting, people start singing their own song, their own song of defeat.
Speaker: their own song of God, how much longer? Or they start singing a song, feelings, and they start feeling sorry for themselves, they become impatient with the process, they become impatient with God. And I wanna put a scripture up before we get started here, and then I wanna show you this clip that I mentioned. But look at what Psalm 40 says.
Speaker: I waited patiently for the Lord. And I told the Lord once, guys, that of any word in the English, Spanish, the Hebrew, the Swahili, the Togo, you know, Russia, I don't like the word wait.
Speaker: And it's connected to patiently. I don't like, do you guys like to wait? I don't like to wait. But there's a principle, wait patiently for the Lord, and he inclined unto me. In other words he listened, he responded, and he heard my cry. And I think sometimes, guys, when it comes to waiting in prayer or in our lives, we lose it in the patient aspect. All right, so here's what I promise. I want you to see this clip of David and what he had to say about waiting, and I'm going to ask him about it, and then we're going to break it down.
Speaker: You guys ready? Yeah. All right, let's roll the clip. Did you know God's timing is perfect? And don't rush it, because Abraham had a kid with his servant, and it did not end up good. Now, those two generations are fighting against each other. And a lot of people these days, they get a prophecy, and they want to make it now.
Speaker: Listen to God. He will speak to you, and He has the timing for you, and it's always going to good. Don't ever rush it, because you rush it, can cause a lot of issues. And sometimes, you even what you're called to do,
Speaker: It will take a long time for you to get back on track. So stay on God's time. Don't go off your time, go off His time. Wow.
Speaker: I know you that are watching, you felt that. My goodness, that was mouth of wisdom. David, at this time, how how old are you, man? You're 12 years old 12 years, that was, listen, that was more wise than some that I've heard that are older.
Speaker: And so let's talk about that. what What really, when it comes to waiting and why did you feel that in your heart to share that? And can you give some people some great wisdom like that about waiting?
Speaker: Yeah, waiting is important because God has a plan for you, but you don't rush it Because when you rush it, causes a lot of issues. And then it sometimes you don't even get to fulfill your prophecy if you don't wait. Mm-hmm.
Speaker: That's right, because if you don't wait, what can happen is you get in the way of certain things. What would you have to say? That was a great clip. Oh, yeah. know you're proud of him. Oh, thank you. And he didn't even have a cue card, man. He was doing it by the anointing. Yeah, so, you know, I think waiting is part of a—I know at the beginning you mentioned about, you know, the process. Yeah. I think everything that God had done so far, there's a time of waiting for, because the time of the waiting kind tests our faith also. Can we trust Him? I think that's why we all have to learn that to patiently wait because we trust God's character. that you know if you if we go back to all the messages that we have heard from this house from you that i spoke to you many times i think uh you know there's no way for anybody who really received those messages and miss their uh uh divine appointment because the wedding is part of the process you know we like her now
Speaker: We have to wait, and the word of the prophecy has to be tested in our life. And we have to show the Holy Spirit that we really, really trust Him to bring the prophecy to pass in our own life. That's really good. And you know, David, let me ask you this, because you know in in times of waiting, people, if they're not careful, can almost stop ah start to blame God. Yeah.
Speaker: Why is that important, not to blame God? in times of waiting, what would you say to that? Well, God created you. You don't blame Him for anything. He didn't do anything. It's all from the devil. You're starting to get in spirits of fear, of denial, and you're not taking the wisdom from the Bible.
Speaker: This book will help you get through your life. You just have to wait. Trust God in the process. Otherwise, you're gonna go straight down the stairs. Yeah, you're right. In other words, you will not go up yeah in your faith or up as far as accelerating into the promise, but to your point, you start declining. And, you know, Pastor Dorje, I've seen with like the children of Israel, you know, they could not wait on the Lord. They tried to rush it. And then here's what they wanted to do.
Speaker: They wanted to go back to what was not working. yeah They wanted to go back to Egypt. They wanted to go back to, so why is that dangerous when it comes to waiting on God to have the mindset of always wanting to go back and and and live in the past, rehearse the past? I think yeah yeah I believe that because the Bible said God is a good father.
Speaker: He wants to fulfill the plan that he has for all of us. So when God give you a promise, because during the process, again, it is a process.
Speaker: I know nowadays we want overnight or our fast food miracles, all of that. But in the kingdom of God, if you go back to book of Genesis, to book of even when Jesus came, it was a take time. It was a process. Jesus have to wait before he step into his perfect will for 30 years old.
Speaker: He have to wait for that season to come to pass. So when we don't wait, what happened was, sometimes we we remove ourselves out of God's protection. right And that's when we give the license to the enemy to come and destroy our life. And now, every prophecy that we receive is not always about us. It's all about the next generation.
Speaker: What God can do through the prophecy so we don't wait, you see how many people are gonna be affected. right when we don't wait and as expect God to bring his prophecy to pass in our own life. And you know, and let me just talk to those of you you you know, that are believing God in in your nation. Maybe you're in the United States of America and you're looking at different things that are happening in the economy. Maybe gas prices aren't what you like, right?
Speaker: and And you hear the prophetic word of the Lord, and sometimes people discount it, and they they begin to listen to all the fake news. They look at all the things that are happening out there. And what it does is it causes those prophetic words in your life. You start doubting them, and you start putting more faith and trust in the things that aren't.
Speaker: true or like that sign says real. And and I've watched people do this, but but the Lord shared something with me. You know, our country has just had an important moment where we rededicated this country with our leader back to the Lord.
Speaker: And as far as God is concerned, there is a reward and a judgment that has come against the enemies of darkness, a reward for us. judgment against enemies of darkness. And the Lord spoke to me and he said, there are some things that the wait is over. Amen. Okay, we we aren't gonna have to contend against, you know, certain evil entities, liberal mindsets that have been happening, right?
Speaker: God even said it in Exodus 14, David, he said, the the Egyptians you see today, you're not gonna see anymore. The problem is it wasn't God, it was the people that kept wanting to go back. They got tired of waiting on God. they They thought that nothing would change, and that is a very, very dangerous place to be. But I want to go to Eddie real quick. Eddie, this guy, listen to this, David.
Speaker: He always has like two to five words of wisdom. What would you say in the subject of waiting today, Eddie?
Speaker: See how I made you wait for the answer. ah No, I just, ah I think that- That's wisdom. You've got to wait to, sometimes you've got to wait before you speak. Very wise. Let's give it up for Eddie. Yeah, no, that that actually is, I think in James it says we have to be quick to listen and and slow to speak.
Speaker: um And I think, you know, being quick to listen means means waiting, waiting to hear, you know, doing the last thing that you heard until you hear something new.
Speaker: That's good, and you know what? I'll tell you something, especially in the prophetic, is the principle, the prophets in the Bible understood something, Eddie, and Pastor Doji and David, and you that are watching that I think a lot of people you know forget. They look for the, hey, what, okay, the prophecy came last week, oh, that was a powerful prophecy. Let's tune in for the next prophecy. Well, wait a minute. Who who who is determining truth?
Speaker: If there's a next prophecy, now in the in the in the simple gift of prophecy, exhortation, edification, and comfort, hey, God's always moving that way, always wanting to encourage, edify, build up. But when it comes to national events and it comes to things that are more in the forth telling and the directive authority of God himself speaking,
Speaker: It isn't just we go from this week prophecy to the next week prophecy. Sometimes we've got to wait. We've got to take a moment to listen and and and let those prophecies play out. How important is it, Pastor Doji, do you think in in today's world,
Speaker: to literally when it comes to something that God has promised, whether like to David's point in the word or a prophetic word, why is it important to to wait? What would you say to people who are watching today that have that have not yet seen their prophecy fulfilled or maybe they're believing something for their nation? You know, Canada, you've heard the words about the redemptive plan of God or Australia, but you're in this waiting season. What advice would you give to these people to encourage them? I think this this advice applies to all of us. Number one, waiting you know waiting upon your heavenly Father. I say your heavenly Father because He's a good Father. yeah Every good gift always comes from Him. You have to know that for yourself. Whatever God has said, He will bring it to pass. Because even the Bible says, He will watch over His words to bring it to pass. yeah So that needs to be settled.
Speaker: So because that's the foundation of seeing prophecy ah being fulfilled. So when you when in in the season of waiting, just don't just expect things to just happen because we participate into the the prophecy. yeah you know We have a role to play.
Speaker: where you have your role to play. Whatever God is has promised you, you have to stay in that place of prayer because prayer also is strengthen the prophecy. It causes you to not to miss God.
Speaker: And also you have to be in your Bible. You've been saying this to us that we have to go back to the foundation because the word of the Lord, these are our foundation. So if you are expecting a miracle or prophecy to come to pass, but you don't spend time in your Bible, it's not gonna happen.
Speaker: And because that's when, because remember, when we read our Bible, we study the Bible, it's God is speaking to us. Our faith is strengthened. well You know, our faith goes to another level. right Because we know that the Bible says, use the word of prophecy to do what?
Speaker: to fight a good fight of faith orders or spiritual warfare. So that's why you have to position yourself, keep prophesying, don't give up because there's a devil who doesn't want you to see that ah your your prayer being answered. So you have to fight, you have to go after it, keep prophesying. And thought about,
Speaker: when the Lord spoke to you about President t Trump, and you know, there's so many noises going around, but the Lord said, well, stay with the story. yeah Don't change the prophecy. Don't change the decrees. You gotta to stay with the story. Keep declaring it. Keep prophesying. You know, I thought about Abraham. The Bible said Abraham was fully persuaded yeah that he refused to waive Yeah, 25 years. mean, he had to wait. Yeah, so I think yeah that's what we all need to really remind ourselves. Yeah, you mentioned Abraham, by the way, in that clip. So what would you say to people, anything on your heart regarding this about just, you know, don't let go.
Speaker: of of God's Word and His promise. But go ahead and talk to the people about it. Keep it in your heart. Don't ever stop praying about it. Keep pressing in, praying, praying, and praying, and you will see a manifest it manifested. Even if it takes 20 years, you need to keep it and remind yourself each time that you are anointed to do it and you must do it.
Speaker: And people that are called to be pastors, they start too early. Now they don't even have a church. That's good. No, you're right. that's That's good wisdom. Let me ask you this, and you don't have to tell us what it is that you're waiting for because, you that's personal, but I'm sure there's something in your life that you're waiting for, right? Yep.
Speaker: What are you doing in the process of having to wait for something? Just pray about it, keep asking God about it. Yeah. Do you ever get discouraged? Yeah, I have. Yeah, and then what do you do?
Speaker: I go back to the book and remind myself that He has called me to do this, and i must do it. Wow, that is good, good advice. And I like what you said about pastors. You know, I've been pastoring almost, well, 30 years I've been pastoring a church, but I've been in ministry for almost 40 years, right?
Speaker: And I've seen that where people, they get ahead of God and it never ends well. And I know Marilyn Hickey, you know, she went home to with the Lord. She was my spiritual mother. She said, watch people, Hank, there's some folks that do that. They step out too early in something.
Speaker: you Look at them in five years, 10 years, you won't even find them. you know I watch people that get an idea to go into business and they jump the gun or they jump it when it comes to starting a church or ministry and they're not even here.
Speaker: And one thing that I can thank God for in my life is, the i remember a word, it was so painful guys. I was, was, driving in my car, it was in 1989, and I heard the Lord, I had just gotten married, and I heard the Lord say, for the next seven years.
Speaker: And I pulled over to the side of the road, And I said, what, next seven years? And then he started continuing the word. He said, for the next seven years, you you're gonna be like Joseph. You're gonna feel forgotten.
Speaker: You're gonna be cast into the pit. You're gonna be rejected by others. You're gonna wonder what I'm doing. But there is a process that I'm working through you. And I was on, in Omaha, there's a street called 72nd and right between 370 and Cornhusker. I pulled over on the side of the road and I said, you mean I have to literally go through a process for seven years?
Speaker: It was the hardest process that I ever went through in my life. I'm i'm serious. To where I kept saying, you know, people are prophesying, God, it feels like He's ignoring you on purpose. I'm like, yeah, He is. Why is nothing working out? I mean, we we we could not get anything to work out in the ministry.
Speaker: And yet I thank God for those seven years because it was in 1996 then, seven years later, God gave the word, moved to Omaha, Nebraska and start a church. And the rest is history. All because I waited and I went through that process.
Speaker: I wanna put a scripture up and I wanna talk about this real quick. And then we're gonna pray for the people. Look at 1 Timothy 1.18. Pastor Doji, you were mentioning about warfare and waiting. yeah It says, this charge I commit unto you, son Timothy.
Speaker: According to prophecies or things that you've been praying about, right? The book of Proverbs says that hope deferred, delayed, right? Delayed, having to wait can make your heart sick.
Speaker: But when it springs forth, it's a tree of life. But look at this. There's prophecies that have gone before you that by those prophecies you may war a good warfare. Now look at the next verse. Here's here's what how you do it. Here's how you wage a warfare. Verse 19.
Speaker: By holding faith. a good conscience, it says in verse 19, and even avoiding shipwreck, 1 Timothy 1, 19. So you have to hold faith, a good conscience, and put away making shipwrecks. So let's talk about that.
Speaker: ah what What speaks to you when you read that verse in the context of waiting and warfare and the process of it? You know, I thought about you know when and when Jesus getting ready to be baptized, the Bible says there was a voice from heaven, this is my beloved son. yeah Now, the first thing enemy did was he questioned that prophecy. yeah That's what happened to all of us. Sometimes when God gives you a prophecy or a promise, enemy enemy immediately the enemy enemy is after the word. That's good word. So that's when we have to learn from Jesus. You have to receive the word and begin to prophesy, begin to speak it out, begin to declare.
Speaker: That's when you have to know what God has said to you. Now, you know, I think in the realm of the spirit, praying the Holy Spirit something that, you know, I've been so blessed to be you know to to be around you. You have been part into my life, a praying the Holy Ghost. yeah Because the Bible says, and when you pray in the spirit, you are praying God's perfect will. Sometimes you may not be able to articulate details are about the prophecy or the promise that God promised you. But when you begin to pray in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is is is is causing you to pray God's perfect will. If it there is any you know selfness selfishness, Holy Spirit will remove that out of the way. That way you can step into what God has for you. So praying the Holy Spirit, that's that's the key. really good Because that's when you release power. You see, remember, when we pray in the Spirit, the devil does not understand what you are praying about.
Speaker: So that's why those who pray in the Holy Ghost, you need to bring the Holy Spirit into the equation. And by praying the Holy Spirit and prophesy, it keep declaring what God has said. And I'm telling you, that's what needs to happen. There's a no shortcut. Well, look at Isaiah 8. says, with stammering lips, yeah um you know, and other tongues, he'll speak unto his people.
Speaker: And it says, and then how does it happen? Line upon line, precept upon precept. to Pastor Doji's point, when you are filled with holy Spirit and and you speak out, David, little by little things happen. I remember one time God said to me, said, until I tell you not to in in the amount that I'm asking, he said, I want you as often as you can, Hank.
Speaker: Pray in tongues while you're walking, while you're you know driving, while you're watching TV, just keep praying in tongues. I did this for almost six months. I mean, I prayed nonstop, it seemed, in tongues.
Speaker: And everything started breaking forth in my life. And at one point I said, God, what is going on? There are so many answers to prayers and things that I've been waiting for that are happening. And God said, that's why I told you six months prior because what you you're looking at is what you forran in tongues. All right, David, we're gonna get ready to wrap up this Get Real program, and I want you to do two things. I want you to have closing thoughts and words for the people, and then I want you to stretch your hands towards those people. Maybe there's people there here today that that are waiting for for their healing.
Speaker: Maybe there's somebody here you're waiting for answer to prayer. Maybe you're waiting for your spouse to get saved. You're waiting for your prodigal return. I mean, it's serious stuff. But I want this young man to pray for you. So give us a few words of wisdom. We've got about just about a few minutes there. You can see.
Speaker: um Tell us what's on your heart, and then i want you to stretch your hand and pray for the people. Don't give up on praying yourself, because my brother had allergies, and he just got healed like a year ago. Wow.
Speaker: Five years, he prayed in tongues strongly over his allergies every single night. And he got healed the first time. Second time, he was completely done. He's not had an allergy since that day. Wow.
Speaker: All right, stretch your hands. Might be some people that need healing. Maybe you could pray that. Whatever's on your heart, I want you stretch your hands. speak right now to everybody that has allergies. I say, devil, you get your hands off of their people. You have no right to touch them in Jesus' name.
Speaker: I say you are covered with the blood of Jesus over your life, over your family, your cars, and your vehicles. yeah No enemy, no demon from hell can touch your family or your life or your calling on your life. You are protected with the angels around you in Jesus' name.
Speaker: Amen. All right, Pastor Doji, do the same. Anything you want to say in the closing moments and say a prayer. Amen. So i want we wanted to encourage you, just get back to your Bible and pray. Stay with you on the story. And right now, in the name of Jesus, I pray, we pray for you.
Speaker: We release the special grace for you to move from point A to point B in the name of je Yeshua the Christ. And we come against every spirit of discouragement, every spirit of confusion. We break the power of hell. And I command the host, be released and protect God's people. And we prophesy, we speak over ah your life that you are moving from glory to glory. from healing to healing, from faith to faith, in the name of Jesus. You will never be subject to the devil, but you are above all principalities and powers. And we prophesy that you you are next in line to testify of God's goodness. In the name of Jesus, we pray with you and for you. Amen, amen.
Speaker: listen Thank you for being on this show. Thank you, Pastor Doji, and thank you for watching today. And you know what? As you're going through whatever it is that you're waiting on, always remember that God has given you something that you've already obtained.
Speaker: ah You don't even have to ask for it. All you gotta do is position yourself and learn to enter in. Hebrews chapter four says when you come boldly to the throne, you've already received it, you've already obtained.
Speaker: Watch this, grace, mercy, and how about this, help. in the time of your waiting or the time of need. So we want to encourage you with that. Well, gentlemen, thank you for being on the show. Hey, be watching. We're going to do a show with these guys on prayer.
Speaker: I'm going to have to probably give you more lunch coupons and stuff, you know. But I want to encourage you that are watching. Listen, put your put your music away and all your sad songs, and let's start putting on some worship, and let's get our focus back.
Speaker: I want to thank all of our faithful friends and partners that you've made it possible to connect people just like you to the Word of the Lord. You know, this is One Voice Ministries. It's our media ministry. We're doing a lot of things with children.
Speaker: And here's the thing, I want to build a ministry training center, a prophetic school, as part of that dynamic um dimension of that. And we are in the process of pursuing and purchasing that property to be able to put a retreat center, 24-hour prayer, I mean, tent revivals.
Speaker: I need your help. You say, well how can I do it? Right there, the giving information is on the screen where you can help us. Let's go to another level. not only in our giving, but how about this, the kiss of the Lord. And one of the ways that you kiss God is through your sacrifice of obedience, but also in your giving.
Speaker: And so I thank you for being a friend and a partner to this ministry. If you have not yet given, consider doing so. and we pray for you every day, and we are so grateful. Gentlemen, let's keep it real. Until next time, let's point our hand of love towards them and say, Jesus is Lord. We'll see you next time.
