YourNest's Sunil Goyal : An Industry veteran, now conquering venture capital in the DeepTech domain. Learn about how he did it all !

Sunil K Goyal is the Managing Director of YourNest Venture Capital, an early-stage venture fund he co-founded in 2011, that manages YourNest Angel Fund-I and YourNest India VC Fund-II. One of the early angel investors and a former member of The Indian Angel Network and Mumbai Angels, Sunil has led seed-stage investments and guided companies to successful exits. Prior to turning a full-time, early-stage investor and fund manager, he was a senior executive in the Telecom and FMCG industries. From his stints with Bharti Group (Airtel) and Dabur, he has gained comprehensive experience of leading complex projects during his career in the areas of M&A, business turnarounds, and strategic partnerships. Sunil continues to be an independent director on the Board of Bharti Telecom Ltd. (holding company of Bharti Airtel Ltd.) and Bharti Hexacom Ltd. (a joint venture with TCIL, a Government of India undertaking).

Sunil believes in ‘conscious capitalism’ and relishes driving business that involve a high sense of purpose and vision. Startups gain from his experience in building businesses from the ground-up stage to leading transformation. He is a qualified CFA from ICFAI, a Cost Accountant from ICWAI and a Masters in Business Economics (MBE) from University of Delhi – South Campus.
