00:00:36
Speaker
so
00:00:40
Speaker
I feel like we should start this episode with a little disclaimer because here recently we have been having a lot of weird mystical things occurring in our recordings that we're not there at the time of recording. We can't hear them until we're editing episodes and then there's like fun like
00:01:08
Speaker
low level conversations going on in the background and there's no one else around. Yeah. Um, one of the more recent ones that we've discovered in a recent episode that we've edited was growling. There was some growling. So yeah, if you guys hear that stuff, a lot of it we can't take out and we also don't know where it's coming from. Right? Yeah. Cause it's not like,
00:01:37
Speaker
I mean, our microphones, it's just connected to our computer. So it's not like it's picking up any other frequencies. I don't know where it's coming from, but just if you hear background noise, we're sorry. We don't know what to do about it. We don't know what to do. Except for cleansing our homes and hoping for the best. Yeah. Hoping for the best. Maybe we should have
00:02:02
Speaker
lit some incense or something. I almost did this morning. I was like, you know what, this would be a great day to light some incense while we're recording. And then I didn't because I got up here, like my altars right by were record, but my lighter is downstairs. So yeah, lighter in my room yesterday because I told you I've been lighting stuff at night in our bedroom, which has been helping.
00:02:29
Speaker
So that's nice. But yeah, I don't have my lighter in here because I was like, Oh, I'll lay incense. And I was like, Oh, I'm not going to get it. Right? Yeah.

Ghostly Experiences at Home

00:02:40
Speaker
crazier like what was crazy about like the growl thing to me too was that that was on our ghost update episode we were literally talking about like ghost shit happening in our house and then this growl just comes on in the middle of one of us talking where we can't even cut it out it's just yeah there so
00:03:00
Speaker
So you're welcome guys if you notice the growl on our like sound episode essentially like go back and listen because it's creepy and at first like i was trying to listen i'm just like maybe you know it could be a dog whatever but then no because that's not what the dog sounds like first of all not in your room.
00:03:19
Speaker
So where is this coming from? And when we record, it's either early in the morning or late at night for me and either my kids are sleeping or they're downstairs. So there's just no explanation. There's no explanation and there's no way to get rid of it either. So now you guys have to experience what we do.
00:03:43
Speaker
And we did have like, you stepped away from the fucking microphone for a minute and I was like, excuse me? What is this noise? So who knows? Yeah. And this was before we started recording. I kind of wish we were already recording so we could go back and listen to it. But yes, earlier when we were just like talking, I stepped away from the microphone and then there was something. Yeah, it sounded like talking. It was weird. And there is no one upstairs.
00:04:14
Speaker
And then Avery scared the shit out of you. So that was great. Yeah, that was really, really scary because we've so just for you guys, like as an update and another like ghostly update, I guess before we start, my husband is not here right now. He is on a trip. And as you know, like if you've been a listener for a while, every time that Tiffany's husband goes TDY, something happens in their home. And my husband has not left
00:04:41
Speaker
in a while. It has been a really long time since he's gone on any sort of trips or anything for work. So this is the first time in a while that he's been gone. And the first night that he left, literally we woke up in the middle of the night, me and my oldest daughter, because we kept hearing banging in the walls, in the walls of our house. And it sounded like it was coming from the ceiling, the walls. When I first woke up, I was like, oh my God, someone's knocking on the door.
00:05:09
Speaker
And so I go check. There's nobody at our home. Nothing like a miss outside. The sound isn't coming from outside at all. It's coming from inside. And I messaged my neighbor because our houses are connected. And she was like, I hear it too. I can't sleep. It's not my kids.
00:05:26
Speaker
It went on for like 30 minutes. I don't know what it was. It wasn't an animal. We didn't hear any animal noises on the roof. I don't know what this was. And I was talking with someone and they were like, well, maybe it could be pipes banging. I looked up what that sounds like because I was like, I have never heard of that before. I looked up that. It definitely was not that sound. It was like someone banging on the wall with a hammer
00:05:51
Speaker
or like kicking the wall. Like I don't know what it was, but it was loud. It sounded like it was coming from upstairs with us. And yeah, that really freaked us out. And yeah, so I don't know. A little bit creepy.
00:06:10
Speaker
So if you guys hear stuff, look, that's just how our lives are. Right. And we're just today when we're done recording, I am going to be cleansing our house, recharging all of our crystals. And yeah, hopefully that helps because I don't mean likey. Yeah. Yeah.
00:06:33
Speaker
They need to calm down. Look, when our husbands are out of town, we already are stressed. We already have a lot going on. Yes, I don't need any of that. If you want to act a fool, do it when my husband's here because here's the thing.
00:06:48
Speaker
half the time he's like maybe you're making this up and the other half the time he's like he actually hears it and he's like uh it's probably it's just the house settling and i'm like yeah this is a concrete structure yeah it's not it is a fucking ghost or something unexplainable i don't know but it is definitely nothing yeah i'm settling the concrete settling what get out get out
00:07:15
Speaker
Yeah, our house in Germany, when we very first got there, the first house we lived in, we had a lot of activity in the house and doors would open and close on their own. Handles weren't open, a latch door. Anthony would always be like, it's just the air pressure. I'm like, fuck off, Anthony. It's not air pressure turning the handle. Right. That doesn't happen. It doesn't happen. It's a real thing.
00:07:42
Speaker
No, yeah, I just don't know why like men Oh, they're always like so like their go-to is just like it has to be explored like an explanation Yeah, there's not an explanation. It's weird

Numerology Origins and Pythagoras

00:07:56
Speaker
shit. Yeah
00:07:59
Speaker
But now that we've updated all the ghosty stuff, what are we talking about today? We're talking about numerology. This was so much fun. This was a lot of fun. I kept playing with all the numbers. Yeah, I really enjoyed researching this because here recently I've been having a lot of
00:08:19
Speaker
experiencing this specific sequence of numbers constantly. And so being able to do a little bit more research on it and then, especially as it relates to angel numbers, which we'll get into a little bit later in the episode, it was so nice to have like that just kind of aha moment of, oh shit, maybe I should be paying a little bit more attention to this. Yeah, yeah.
00:08:42
Speaker
No, it was, it was a lot of interesting information that I like coming into this topic. It's a topic that I really didn't know anything about. I expected there to be like, okay, here's like five whole things that we can talk about. And then, you know, and this is what number, different numbers mean. And I just, I didn't realize like how deeply rooted numerology is in like the history of humans and the history of witchcraft. Like it's crazy.
00:09:12
Speaker
It really is so much information. Yeah, so to kick us off, I'm going to get us started on the background, we're going to go through some history as well. Numerology is the relationship between a number and its mystical nature on both an individual and worldly level. It is also the study of the numerical value of the alphabet.
00:09:31
Speaker
It's the practice of using numbers as a key to understanding specific elements, like a person's characteristics. And it's the study of numbers within your life and the idea that the universe is a system that when it's like broken down completely, it leaves you with like a base element and that in turn is numbers, essentially. In terms of witchcraft specifically though, these numbers will also apply to your magical path.
00:09:58
Speaker
So when we talk about the history of it, there's a large debate surrounding the origins of numerology since it has been noted in many different philosophies and cultures, basically since the earliest times of human history.
00:10:12
Speaker
Yeah, and even the word wasn't recorded in English until 1907, but these ideas and beliefs have been around for centuries. And the earliest records of numerology was found in ancient Egypt and Babylon, as well as in China, Rome, Japan, and Greece, which I think is really cool because, like,
00:10:31
Speaker
It's, again, one of those topics that we've talked about in many different things where throughout history and in different civilizations are all coming to the same conclusion on things. Isn't that fucking crazy? I just love that. But separately too, it's not like, hey, Rome's calling China and being like, excuse me. Have you heard about this? They're just literally like, they all have this same concept
00:10:57
Speaker
in their own silos, which I think is really cool. So modern day numerology is related back to Pythagoras, who was a Greek philosopher that made important developments in mathematics, astronomy, and the theory of music, and who also came up with the theory of transmigration of souls. And this was like the idea that a soul moved to a new body after death.
00:11:19
Speaker
Most people today would know Pythagoras from the Pythagorean theorem, which, you know, like in school, you learned a squared plus b squared equals c squared. It's that guy. Yeah. So, yeah, like the math shit, not so cool, but everything else. Yeah. You can just get rid of that little theorem or whatever. That guy gave me a headache all through high school. Literally. Algebra was not my strong suit. Me either. Not at all.
00:11:47
Speaker
but so not much of his life is known because he was quote unquote shrouded in mystery but what we do know of him is that he loved numbers aka related back to his Pythagorean theorem and it led him to travel to Egypt where he studied Chaldean numerology for 22 years and this is why he's credited as being the father of numerology because he was bringing some of like he already was like finding these
00:12:15
Speaker
themes and numbers and how they can relate back to your life and your world and everything. And then going to other places to try and see what they have already learned. And then taking it back and then also kind of stealing the credit for it. You know what I mean? Well, that's on par for pretty much all of history.
00:12:35
Speaker
Yeah, literally, yeah. So he believed that the world was built on the power of numbers and that everything could be translated into numerical form. This system of numerology that he is known for became known as the Pythagorean number system and is still used today in modern numerology, which is pretty cool.
00:12:53
Speaker
And so there's a lot of ties to religion as it relates to numerology. And basically all religions numbers have been seen to represent many things in different religions. And I've just pulled like a couple of examples here because the episode is already so long. I'm just like, I'm not gonna really
00:13:15
Speaker
It's just so interesting. An example from Christianity, 666 was associated with the beast, 888 is supposed to represent Jesus, I guess, and then also the Holy Trinity, so the number three.
00:13:29
Speaker
And then in China, four represents bad luck and death. And I thought this was kind of funny, it's because the word for four and death sound too familiar. So that's why. But yeah, but there's a lot of different examples in different religions and different cultures throughout the world of numbers representing certain things.
00:13:50
Speaker
Yeah. And I don't know about you, but when I was doing this research, once I started getting into like the how to use it, I was like, you know what, we're going to like brief history because this is going to be a long one. So there is a lot more history. If you guys are really interested in this, I would say do some research on this because
00:14:09
Speaker
This numerology itself, like we said, is tied into so many different cultures throughout history. It has ties to religion and obviously witchcraft as well. So if it's something like you really are interested in, 10 out of 10 spend some time researching it because I feel like I could have researched this for a full week for this episode and still not like
00:14:32
Speaker
scratch the surface on the history of it because there's so much. There really is. So moving on from that, then, like from the history and the background, we'll talk a little bit about how to use it.

Calculating Personal Numbers in Numerology

00:14:46
Speaker
So in numerology, there's two primary numbers that you work with. And this is your date of birth and then your full birth name. And these two things break down to your core numbers by using the Pythagorean numerology chart.
00:15:02
Speaker
So to make that chart, you basically list the numbers one through nine across the top, and then you would start writing the letters of the alphabet under each number, starting at one and then going all the way through nine, obviously. So under one would be A, under two would be B, et cetera, until you got to nine with I, and then J would go back under one.
00:15:24
Speaker
like I hope that makes sense, it probably sounds super confusing, but basically you're just wrapping the letters around under each of the numbers until you get through the entire alphabet. So you continue through z so that each number has its corresponding number. You would then use the chart to apply the letters of your full name and it's your birth name because at first like when I started doing this I was like so does that mean that your name like the number for your name changes like if you get married and change your name or if you just
00:15:53
Speaker
legally change your name but no it's whatever your name at birth is that's your name number like essentially so you would basically take all of the letters of your name and find out which numbers using that chart and then you would add those up like all those numbers up until you got down to a single digit and there's an exception that we're going to talk about in a minute too
00:16:16
Speaker
So I did this for my name so that I could better understand it and then explain it. So the first edition, taking all of the letters of my name and getting their associated number gave me 36 for my first name, 20 for my middle name, and 31 for my last name.
00:16:34
Speaker
And it was explained like in a few of the videos that I watched, you don't add it all together, which I don't know why this matters because I feel like you'd probably still get the same number, but you add each one separately, like each separately instead of adding all your letters, your numbers, sorry, add all your numbers together. So that gave me 9 plus 2 plus 4 because I did 3 plus 6 to get 9, 2 plus 0 obviously is 2, and then 3 plus 1 is 4.
00:17:02
Speaker
So then after adding that again, it's one and five, and then ending in six, making six my full birth name number. And then I would add the number of my birth date together in that same manner, which gives me 11. So my two primary core numbers are six and 11. And the key things to note are that according to the Witches Cauldron on YouTube, master numbers don't get reduced down to single digits.
00:17:27
Speaker
And those are 11 and 22. But some sources also say 33 is a master number. So if your birthday is 11, 22, or in some sources, 33, you would keep those numbers as is and not add them together to get a single digit. If you hit a master number while you're adding, you also stop at that point. You don't reduce it down.
00:17:49
Speaker
So for example, when I did my birth date, I got to 1 plus 4 plus 6 equals 11. And since that's the master number, I stopped there rather than adding 1 to 1 to get 2. And then she also noted that 11 relates to instinct and faith, but it can also signify fear or anxiety. And 22 is called the master builder, and it's the most powerful indicator of ambition and success.
00:18:13
Speaker
though it often requires guidance or a different perspective. And then remember that you also want to break your non-master numbers down just into a single digit. So you're going to keep adding numbers together until you're left with just one number. You can also use this for things like businesses by using the starting date of your business as the birth date and basically
00:18:36
Speaker
anything that you have a starting date for. So like relationships, if you have a podcast like we do or like jobs, whatever it is that you're trying to like glean more information on, you just use the start date of that and then get your like master number out of it or your core number, not your master number.
00:18:51
Speaker
When you're talking about the overall numbers, for one, the strengths are natural born leaders, self-sufficient, and ambitions. The shadow, which they use shadow in place of like negative traits, essentially, they're your shadow traits. So that's what we're talking about when we say shadow. So those traits for one are going to be they avoid bossiness, shy, or too impulsive. In general, they like standing out from the crowd, trying new things,
00:19:20
Speaker
And occupations for one would be that they gravitate towards political leadership, their business owners or celebrities. For two, your strengths are loving peacemaker, analytical and ideal partners. The shadows are hanging back or being a wallflower.
00:19:39
Speaker
not speaking up or stuck on details or lonely. In general, they strive to find the right relationships. They need harmony. They need order. For occupations, they gravitate towards the diplomatic corps, counselors, or business partners.
00:19:55
Speaker
For threes, the strengths are outgoing, joy of life, or enthusiastic. The shadow is fear is routine, may lack self-discipline, and may accomplish little. In general, they have a good energy. They like putting ideas into action, and they like having a good time.
00:20:14
Speaker
and their occupations would be press secretary, like a planner or something in marketing. For four, the strengths are hard workers. They're very practical. They get things done. The shadows would be fears downsizing, fears not having a routine, very rigid. In general, they have a need for security. They like to develop order out of chaos. And their occupations tend to be something in administration and roles that require a team player or even management.
00:20:43
Speaker
For five, the strengths are bold, daring, persuasive, and they enjoy the finer things in life. Their shadows are restless to the point of boredom, easily sidetracked. In general, they search for new opportunities and they take chances. They like trying it all, like trying all the new things.
00:21:01
Speaker
In occupations would be things like public figures, in media, new idea roles or like the think tankers. For six, the strengths are warm, nurturing, happily domestic and reliable. The shadows, they can feel like they're being walked over like a doormat all the time. They can be too opinionated.
00:21:21
Speaker
In general, they like taking care of their loved ones, finding safety and comfort. And occupations would be a personal assistant, an educator, or a caterer. For seven, the strengths are deep thinkers, spiritually inclined, unique, eccentric. The shadows are aloof, fears not living up to the high standards, and a loner.
00:21:43
Speaker
And in general, they like to seek answer to life's questions. They're very observant. They like discovery. And occupations would be analytical fields, consultants, and even self-employment. For eight, your strengths are decisive, forceful, good with money, and well-accomplished.
00:22:03
Speaker
shadows are often lacks feelings for people that stand in their way, which cracked me up when I read that I was like, wow, getting aggressive, right? In general, they can take control, they seek power, they strive for more and they seek status.
00:22:17
Speaker
And occupations that they're drawn to are things in the professional field like management or business franchises. For Nine, your strengths are that they're very inspired, intuitive, creative, seeks to improve the world. Shadows are that they need to avoid bad habits and they often miss small details.
00:22:39
Speaker
In general, though, they can typically see the big picture and they kind of just like dream the dream. Their occupations are a community leader and an organizer, like a union organizer. And then for Eleven, the strengths are that they're visionaries, they're artists, they like to expand their consciousness. Shadows are that they avoid extremes. They're often too high strung or impractical.
00:23:04
Speaker
In general, they like to be enlightened and they like to enlighten others. And occupations that they're drawn to are in the metaphysical business with far-reaching appeal and small business owners.
00:23:17
Speaker
Well, if that just is something we know, I don't know what is. I know. I read that and I was like, oh, it makes sense. It makes absolute sense. Tiffany, you can take the tea because she's starting a tea business and it's gorgeous. It's been a lot of work.
00:23:42
Speaker
And then 22, which 22 is the last one I have information on. I could not find this specific information for 33, but again, only some of the sources count 33 as a master number. But for 22, its strengths are goal-oriented.
00:23:59
Speaker
practical and especially when it comes to like a global scale. The shadow is that they may feel like they were born before their time, maybe they're too overextended. In general, they need to have a mission and they need to be able to see that mission carried out like on a global scale, like a really large scale. Occupations for them would be like website or software developer, an activist business for global change,
00:24:24
Speaker
scientists, researchers, or even lobbyists. And for a lot of this information and more, I've linked a Google Doc shared by the witches cauldron that also includes like a lover's guide to numerology for like compatibility, which I thought was pretty interesting, but it was a lot and this episode is already going to be really long.

Understanding Numerology Portraits

00:24:46
Speaker
So if you are more interested in this, that will definitely be in our show notes. So feel free to like go through that.
00:24:54
Speaker
She put so much work into this. That is awesome. Yeah. I'm absolutely going to be going there. And then if it is like a printable guide, I'm probably going to print it out and put it in my Book of Shadows. It's like a multi-page document that is like so much information on numerology. She has her YouTube channel. She did a whole 30, 35 minute video on numerology. And she explains it beautifully.
00:25:23
Speaker
I love this. This right here is like, I love it. I haven't added up my name and my birthday together to get the numbers. I'm going to do that though. I've done some things related to the numerology portrait, which I'm about to talk about, and then also a lot of stuff with angel numbers, but I'm really excited to do this.
00:25:45
Speaker
And also put out her guide and go from there. My brain, like the way it works when I'm learning about things, I need to like if it's something like this, I also need to like work it out so I can see it and understand it. Like so the whole time I was doing it, I had like a little paper here and I was like doing all this stuff. And then I would get ahead of myself and be like, Oh, this is how you do it. And then I would like read a little farther. And I'm like, I did that wrong. So I'd have to like do it again. But yeah, no, I like my brain needs to like,
00:26:13
Speaker
to do it to really grasp it. So that's why I did it. And then I was like, well, explaining it might help, but it also might be more confusing because you're not seeing it worked out. So I don't know. If it helped, I'm glad. If it confused you more, I'm sorry.
00:26:32
Speaker
But then also too, they can pause. And listeners, if you're interested, you could pause where Tiffany was going over exactly how to do it. And then I'm going to go through some things on how to do a numerology portrait. Just pause it when you get to the steps and go through the steps while you're listening.
00:26:50
Speaker
I would definitely suggest like pulling up that Google Doc as well because it's explained in there too. So seeing it might also help because she has like a visual of like how to do it in that document. So yeah, yeah, perfect. So moving on to another technique, this is called the numerology portrait.
00:27:12
Speaker
and this is a personalized guide for you and your life, revealing your strengths, weaknesses, and who you could become. Also, sorry, there is jets flying in the background. They seem kind of far away, but you never know. So if you hear some fucking jets, I'm sorry. It is some fucking Sunday too. They need to chill it out, but they're flying, so I don't know. So this consists of only six numbers and they're pulled from
00:27:39
Speaker
different sets. So three numbers are calculated from your birth date. So these are your birth number, your life path number, and your attitude number. And three are pulled from the letters of your name. So your soul's urge, your personality number, and your power number. So it's a lot like what you were talking about, but just like a different method of getting there. Yeah. And so some of these numbers could be considered core numbers as well. So if you come across core numbers, or like Tiffany was talking about, and she's gonna
00:28:06
Speaker
talk about some other core numbers down below. Some of these kind of interrelate. So the first one is the soul's urge and this indicates your inner desires and what makes your soul happy. It's also known as just the soul number and it represents your inner self and it's linked to your desires, likes, dislikes, your needs, and your motivators.
00:28:26
Speaker
Let's talk about how to calculate the soul's urge and the soul number. Pause here, get a piece of paper, and work it through it with us if you don't know your soul's number. What you're going to do is you're going to add up all the vowels in your name to include your middle name as well.

Speaker
Something to note with this is that y's can be considered both vowels and a consonant. And in terms of numerology, the rule is if y is preceded by a consonant, then the y is a consonant. But if y is preceded by a vowel, then it's a vowel. There's like a few exceptions for this rule that we'll talk about later. Yeah, so for instance, like going into the numerical values, a is one,
00:29:07
Speaker
E is five, I is nine, O is six, U is three, and Y is seven. So those are the values for each of the vowels, and it links back with exactly what Tiffany was saying before about creating that chart of one through nine, and then putting the whole alphabet in that whole grid. So if you're wondering why these numerical values aren't like A, one, E, two, I, three, that's why. It's based on that whole grid.
00:29:37
Speaker
That C is three. Yes. Yeah. I'm just going to give an example of the whole consonant thing. Say if I were to take my daughter's name, her name is Avery, because the R precedes the Y, the Y would be a consonant. But if she had an E that preceded the Y, then it would be considered a vowel. Just a little example for you. There's so many rules to this guy. There really is.
00:30:04
Speaker
So moving on to the next number, this is your personality number. And this relates back to the aspects of your character that you show to others. So there's actually two versions of this number. There's the major and the minor. The major shows your outer persona and how others perceive you. But this is only the side that you allow others to see. The minor shows your inner self. The minor persona you can usually get using a nickname.
00:30:32
Speaker
So like if you have a nickname that people use for you, you would use that to get this number. And this gives clarification to your outer personality. It would show who you truly are versus your outer persona and what you show the public.
00:30:46
Speaker
How can you calculate your personality number? It's pretty easy. You just add up all the consonants in your name, following the Y rule that we just discussed. I am not listing the numerical correspondences here because it would take forever. Just go off of that grid that we've already talked about. If this is making zero sense to you, check out our show notes for more information because we have it linked.
00:31:09
Speaker
So make sure you're checking out that Google Doc and everything. Yes. I was going to say all of this is in that Google Doc. So make sure that you at least open that and read through it because there's just a ton of information. She did such a good job.
00:31:24
Speaker
Yes, so the next one is your power number and this indicates your strengths of your character. So how you would calculate your power number is essentially to add up your soul urge or your soul number and the personality number together and of course make it a single digit and that would relate back to your power number.
00:31:41
Speaker
and your birthday number. So this is the next one, and this is how others see you at first glance. And how you would calculate this is you would essentially look at the day you were born. So if you were born on February 7th, your birthday number would be seven. I'm born on April 3rd, so my birthday number is three. This is the easy one. Yeah, super easy one. You don't have to do any math for it.
00:32:05
Speaker
I guess unless you don't know your birthday. Yeah, then you're kind of fucked. But just pull out the birth certificate, you'll be fine. So the next one, the fifth one is the life path number. And this is your identity at its core. So your life path number or your date of birth, essentially, it's believed that this number forms the basis of what path your life can take. This number is reflective of who you are, who you should be, and your personality traits overall.
00:32:35
Speaker
This number can also outline challenges that you might face throughout your life. So how can you calculate your life path number? Simply, all you have to do is add up your entire birthday until you get a single digit. So if my birthday is January 15, 1997, I would literally add up all of those dates, all those numbers until I got to a single digit.
00:32:57
Speaker
But also when you have double digits, like 15, you would add one plus six, and then six would be added to everything else. And you do the same for the year. So you add the four digits of the year together until you get a single digit, and then you start adding your month, your day, and your year together.
00:33:15
Speaker
Yes. So the sixth one is the attitude number. And this is the attitude that you have toward life. And how you can calculate your attitude number is pretty simple. Basically, you take your birthday month and day. So again, if you were born on February 7, February is the second month of the year. And so that is two, and you're born on the seventh day. So
00:33:36
Speaker
you would add two plus seven and that would give you nine and that is your attitude number. So what is like kind of important to understand about this numerology portrait is that if you decided okay like I don't want to do all six numbers really the life path number is the most important to your numerology portrait and it is calculated again by adding your birthday and
00:33:59
Speaker
your day, month, and year into a single digit. So even if you don't want to do anything related to all six of these steps, you could just calculate your life path number and know quite a bit about your path in life, who you are, what you want to be, those sort of things.
00:34:15
Speaker
And like outside of all of this, there's a couple of additional core numbers that aren't usually listed in the numerology portrait, but they're still important indicators of your personality, of your goals, of your path in life. And so these are the destiny or the expression number. And this is based on your full birth name that we, you know, how we talked about it earlier, and you're going to add them up, your first name, your middle name, and your last name separately, and then together until you get down to
00:34:42
Speaker
a master number or a single digit and then the maturity number. This is your destiny number added to your life path number. This number reflects your true self, your ultimate goals and the seed of your power. Yeah. So kind of changing gears a little bit and doing something that doesn't require any math
00:35:09
Speaker
We're going to talk about Angel numbers. I'm sure most of us have already heard about this. We've heard somebody talk about it, even if we don't really know what they are.
00:35:18
Speaker
They are sequences of numbers that carry divine guidance, messages from the spiritual world, and a mode of communication that your spirit guides or guardian angels use to catch your attention and convey information. Angel numbers appear in everyday life in very commonplace situations like license plates, street addresses, digital time stamps, times on a digital clock, shopping receipts, anywhere that you would see a number, that's how they would appear.
00:35:47
Speaker
And each angel number possesses its own unique vibration, and they're tied to different themes. So if you're seeing a set of numbers repeatedly, it isn't a coincidence. And it's your spirit guide's way of making you more aware of something that is significant, whether that be an affirmation of your thoughts, to nudge you in the right direction, or to provide you some sort of encouragement.
00:36:08
Speaker
Angel numbers do not depict doom and gloom, but might indicate upcoming obstacles, places in your life that need reflection, or things in your life that need to change. So how can you use angel numbers? Being able to recognize and understand angel numbers can enrich your life and help guide you in your decision making,
00:36:28
Speaker
confirm your thoughts and help you further understand your life's

Angel Numbers and Their Meanings

00:36:31
Speaker
purpose. And you can use it essentially as a tool to guide you and reaffirm something that you have been thinking about or wanting to accomplish, but you haven't really had the confidence to do so. So angel numbers.
00:36:45
Speaker
There's a lot, and I don't have them all listed here. But if you keep seeing a specific series of numbers, check out the resources in our show notes for an exhaustive list of angel numbers. But I'm just going to highlight some of the big ones that people tend to see. So the 000, the 000 is a highly spiritual number that usually symbolizes wholeness, infinity, and the essence of the divine.
00:37:10
Speaker
It also encompasses the energies of all of the other numbers and indicates the beginning of a spiritual journey. It also represents awakening, enlightenment, and divine love. It's also a powerful manifestation number. It's seen a lot in the law of attraction, and it urges you to have positive thoughts and beliefs. 111, so triple one, represents new beginnings, ambition, and independence, and it signals a wake-up call and is a reminder to have trust and faith in the universe.
00:37:39
Speaker
If you're seeing the triple one, this is a sign that you are on the right path, and it's asking you to trust your intuition, have confidence, and it's a sign that new opportunities are on the horizon. This is also a strong manifestation number, and it represents attunement with your higher self, mind, body, and spirit, and it indicates you are on the right path for your soul's purpose. One, one, one, one, so the four ones, eleven, eleven,
00:38:04
Speaker
This is Amplication of One and it indicates a powerful spiritual message. The focus here is on your thoughts and intentions as they have the power to manifest into your reality. So if you're seeing this number a lot, this is a reminder that you create your own reality and you have the power to create the life you desire. This is a sign that you are on the right path, you're not alone,
00:38:27
Speaker
and your angels and spirit guides and the universe is highly supportive of you. Seeing this is confirmation that you are in alignment with your higher purpose and a spiritual journey. And because this number is indicative of the fact that you create your own reality, again, it is a powerful manifesting number and can also be a reminder to raise your vibration to meet your intentions.
00:38:47
Speaker
This number is going to be the one number that I think if you have never even heard of angel numbers, you have at least heard someone say, it's 1111. Yes. And this is the angel number that I have been seeing constantly the past few weeks. Every time I check my phone, it's 1111. I go somewhere and I see 1111. I go to pay for something and it's 1111. I have seen this number constantly.
00:39:13
Speaker
And now you know why. Now I know why. Because I'm just like, damn, it's kind of weird. I keep saying 11-11 and I don't know why. Now I know.
00:39:21
Speaker
Yeah. Moving on to triple fours. If you're seeing a triple four, this is associated with stability, hard work and practicality. It's a reminder to stay grounded and remain focused on your goals. And it's a sign you're on the right path to keep going and not to give up even when things get rough. It's also a sign that your guides are with you to help guide your way and
00:39:46
Speaker
a big sign that your desires and dreams are coming to fruition because of all of your hard work. And I've actually seen recently a couple of people have this tattooed on them. And I saw somebody on my Instagram, like someone I went to high school with, she has a 444 necklace. And I'm like, why am I seeing this all of a sudden? Yeah.
00:40:07
Speaker
That's another one I've been seeing a lot recently, but I've been seeing it on other people, so I don't know if it necessarily applies to my life. I think if you're seeing it, it must be on the right path. It must be. All that hard work is paying off, baby. Way to go. And so lastly, the last angel number that I'm going to talk about is 333.
00:40:26
Speaker
The amplification of the three represents creativity, self-expression, and manifestation. And if you're seeing this, this means that you're aligned with the energy of the universe and that you're going to experience abundance, growth, and expansion. Seeing this is a reminder to let go of limiting beliefs and doubts and encouraging you to have faith and trust in your creative abilities, which will allow you to create the life that you desire.
00:40:51
Speaker
So now that we've given you all of this information, let's talk about how numerology applies specifically to witchcraft.

Numerology in Witchcraft Practices

00:40:59
Speaker
So numbers and numerology can be used effectively in your craft, especially when using numbers that will amplify your intention based on the number's core meanings. So some examples of this would be by casting your circle three times, you can bring good energy and amplify your intentions and their actions.
00:41:17
Speaker
In terms of knot magic, using a number that's going to contribute to your intentions and your knots could amplify that.
00:41:25
Speaker
repeating your intention or chanting a specific number of times, depending on the number's core meaning and how it will amplify your intention. Lucky numbers in general, which can be very personal to your wanted outcome. And then practicing numeric rituals in your craft to gain a boost from the number's core meaning. And those are the ones that, that whole list that I went through earlier, like, you know, their strengths, their general meanings, their shadows, like using those pieces in your craft.
00:41:55
Speaker
can help amplify with numerology. Yes. And additionally, just to kind of wrap up the episode, I saw this blog post by SL Bear at The Traveling Witch. She has this whole post on numerology and witchcraft. And I just thought it was so interesting. And again, if you want more information, please check out her blog. It's linked in our show notes. But she talks a little bit about different numbers and how you can apply it in witchcraft. So one, she indicates this number is related back to intention.
00:42:24
Speaker
And you would use one in magic to emphasize the importance of your intention when performing magic focused on the self. So that means like one candle, one crystal, one of whatever ingredient you're adding to a spell bowl, things like that. One bay leaf. One bay leaf, yes.
00:42:41
Speaker
One basil. Just one single. Two relates back to lovers, friendship, and bonds. This corresponds to things like balance, night and day, sun and moon, earth and sea, light and dark, life and death. Anything having that duality, you can use two as a way to amplify that. Three, this is a magical number in itself and it's often tied to magic and witchcraft.
00:43:10
Speaker
past, present, future, maiden, mother, and crone. In stories this relates to the beginning, middle, and end, and a triangle, the three primary colors, all of these things. So if you're wanting to, you know, not necessarily focus on a specific, like say if you're doing something for abundance, like you can just amplify that in and of itself by using three of something. Three also represents the cycle of a spell, setting an intention, gathering our materials, and actually performing the spell.
00:43:38
Speaker
Four represents the cardinal points, north, south, east, west. It's also representative of the seasons and the elements. And in tarot, the emperor is the fourth card and represents taking control of your life. It's a great number to work with if you are working with seasons and the elements. And just in general, if you're trying to
00:43:57
Speaker
do a spell that represents like taking control or being more like in my life trying to be more assertive. This might be a great thing to use like using the number four and using it as a way to amplify your magic would be great. And then lastly, the number five, she has this associated with marriage and this it's the symbol for humanity. And if you think about like the old
00:44:21
Speaker
images of the man spread out with his legs spread and his arms out. It's the five main appendages also on a person. And when spread out, it resembles a star, which is also very magical. So the fifth element is the soul and is the number that acknowledges that humans are divinely influenced. And it's a reminder that you are the most important aspect and element of any spell. And I think this would also be a great
00:44:47
Speaker
Number to use to amplify certain things like say if you're trying to get in touch with your spirit guides or you're trying to Understand your divine purpose in life using five and your spell work would be great as well. Yeah, what a great way to wrap it up I know. Yeah, I love it. So again, if you have any questions about numerology you can hit us up or check out our show notes and Yeah, this was a really really amazing cool topic to yeah again if
