Speaker: Okay, I didn't know I needed to press stop, but I do.

Speaker: So here we are.

Speaker: This is Stellar Pod number three, Stellar Sports episode two.

Speaker: We are at the end of our day for Saturday.

Speaker: We just got done with OFL Tournament 3 of the 2023 year.

Speaker: Matt, how would you like to start off talking about the tournament today?

Speaker: Tournament today was even the weather showed us it was up and down.

Speaker: Went from pissing on us, literally pouring rain for two seconds to beaming down the sun and me literally feeling like I'm getting sunburned on the spot.

Speaker: Yeah, now the, uh, my,

Speaker: my like upper calf it was the only area i didn't sunscreen and it's the only area i got sunburned on which surprised me because like 50 of the time the sun wasn't out um to start with we have game one was between the heavyweights and foster in which i don't think it was very close i think

Speaker: I think Foster kind of beat them pretty good, right?

Speaker: No, it was extremely close.

Speaker: Oh, it was close.

Speaker: I remember Zion started, and he did not look good at all.

Speaker: They didn't score an offensive touchdown.

Speaker: The only reason Foster won was because Burrow probably could have played for us if we had played our cards right.

Speaker: He had a pick six where they scored the extra point.

Speaker: And so the final score of that game was 7-6 after my fantasy player Mohawk, 81, scored the first touchdown.

Speaker: I took an early, strong lead.

Speaker: It wasn't that strong because I had his quarterback.

Speaker: But moving on.

Speaker: The next game we have the Hanson Outlaws versus the Habu.

Speaker: That was a rough one for the Habu, i.e.

Speaker: me

Speaker: Because we had really bad equipment.

Speaker: The weather was, as Matt said, it was rainy.

Speaker: I was having trouble throwing the ball.

Speaker: But even worse, I wasn't throwing the ball too bad.

Speaker: I was hitting my receivers right, giving them a really good target.

Speaker: They were getting two hands on the ball, and it was just bopping to the ground, disappointingly.

Speaker: We had pretty bad gear, even when they did catch the ball.

Speaker: Usually their flags fell out, and then it turned into a two-hand touch.

Speaker: So

Speaker: It would usually, if they caught the ball, which because of how fast they had to get the ball out, they usually caught it around the one, maybe two-yard line, sometimes behind the sticks, well, the line of scrimmage, in which case by the time they get tagged, we basically just got a completion for zero yards.

Speaker: Our defense did not perform at the level it has in the pass,

Speaker: And Hanson was able to get up by multiple touchdowns and shut us out, which was not the first time we had been shut out, but it was still a bad shutout.

Speaker: I had a hookup on a nine route twice where my receiver had just burnt the defense.

Speaker: And I go ahead and give him a good arc, hit him in the bread basket, and you guessed it.

Speaker: 0 for 2, and then they dropped the balls.

Speaker: So, do you have anything you want to say about the Hanson-Hagu game?

Speaker: From what I saw, Hanson didn't do anything special.

Speaker: Um...

Speaker: The Habu defense just looked flat-footed, not really much communication.

Speaker: I think from what it looked like, Dre pretty much had his way in the running game as a quarterback.

Speaker: And then you can't win games when you get a nine route, you beat the defense, and you drop the ball.

Speaker: Not only does it destroy that guy's morale, it destroys everybody's morale.

Speaker: And you just, those are hard to come back from.

Speaker: And the balls were there.

Speaker: And that's just a hard pill to swallow.

Speaker: Yeah, no, definitely.

Speaker: It sucked.

Speaker: That was part one of two of today's Soul Crusher for me.

Speaker: Next up on the day, I think it was Foster and Rusty.

Speaker: What do you have to say about Foster and Rusty?

Speaker: The final score of the game was 7-6, and that's about what the game felt like.

Speaker: Both offenses really struggled to get something going, and the only reason Foster did win is because they got the extra point and Rusty didn't.

Speaker: And it was, we started out with Garcia, former Shogun quarterback at the helm.

Speaker: And he, we ran six wide and he just, as a pocket passer, he looked very, very uncomfortable.

Speaker: He gave me a ball that was just overthrown wide open.

Speaker: He had two more balls to me that maybe were catchable, but they were not, I don't know if you saw them,

Speaker: They were not where I wanted them.

Speaker: Like it was like the first one he overthrew and the other two he underthrew.

Speaker: And it was just not a great showing for Garcia to start.

Speaker: So coming at the second half, I don't even remember if I did it in the first half, but I switched it up.

Speaker: I'm like, this isn't working.

Speaker: And I kind of took the helm and the second half, I just...

Speaker: literally I think ran over them.

Speaker: Like it wasn't even no, no one could really pull my flag.

Speaker: Um, I think can't remember the end of the game.

Speaker: I think we ran out of time on a drive for something like that.

Speaker: And we just couldn't get connected the second drive of the second half.

Speaker: And so they, they pulled away with a seven, six, another close defeat that just hurts the soul.

Speaker: Yeah, once you switched up the tempo and took over the offense, it definitely changed the game.

Speaker: I can't really remember which games were which, so I will get more into that towards the end.

Speaker: But I definitely have a couple things to say.

Speaker: Next up, I'm pretty sure it went back to...

Speaker: Okay, so then it was Hanson and Shisa's, which we will cruise through this because it was pretty straightforward.

Speaker: Hanson kind of bulldozed him.

Speaker: sending Shisha's into the loser's bracket with the Habu, right?

Speaker: I think that's the next matchup was Shisha-Habu.

Speaker: No, no.

Speaker: Next matchup after the Shisha kind of got steamrolled was Habu versus Hentai.

Speaker: Yeah, Habu versus Hentai.

Speaker: So then going into that one, we started on defense.

Speaker: They scored.

Speaker: We went on offense.

Speaker: I'm going to be honest, I probably could have played better, could have showed out a little bit more.

Speaker: But for the most part, it was a bunch of guys that were not familiar with the offense, didn't really work.

Speaker: We started off the first offensive possession.

Speaker: We were getting lots of completions.

Speaker: They were just literally going for zero yards, which obviously is less than ideal.

Speaker: We then punted the ball.

Speaker: Actually, we were going to go for it on the first one, and then I don't remember what happened.

Speaker: I think somebody jumped off sides.

Speaker: That had been small.

Speaker: Yeah, something happened.

Speaker: No, it wasn't.

Speaker: We were going to go for it.

Speaker: And then, I don't know, whatever happened, I think somebody jumped off sides, and then we punted it.

Speaker: Second defensive possession, they go ahead and score again.

Speaker: So then we switch it up on offense, and it absolutely blows.

Speaker: I'm still just –

Speaker: pressure in my face if I get three seconds cool but for the most part I'm just chucking the ball trying to get it out I tried to sit in the pocket a little bit more because in the first the first game I was a little bit more bouncing I was trying to extend plays with my feet rather than just sit in the pocket and try to deliver a good ball so in the second game I thought well I'll just sit here and deliver a good ball which probably I probably should have stopped

Speaker: But I just thought, hey, this is what people want me to do, so this is what I'll try to do.

Speaker: That did not work.

Speaker: It didn't work at all.

Speaker: The balls were still getting dropped.

Speaker: They weren't even getting the receivers sometimes.

Speaker: I think I had one interception that was called.

Speaker: No, that was against Hanson.

Speaker: I didn't throw the interception until the end of the game versus Hentai, which is actually a surprise because I probably should have thrown multiple interceptions.

Speaker: I actually might have, but the only one I can remember is the single one at the end of the game

Speaker: We lost for the second time Allen, unfortunately.

Speaker: He was about the only lifeblood we had on offense.

Speaker: And once he went down, it was a blow.

Speaker: From there, I had just, I'll be honest, I had shut down.

Speaker: I didn't stop trying, but I just knew my guys were not being receptive to scheming.

Speaker: And we were obviously by far the less talented team.

Speaker: So I just started zoning in basically on the couple guys I could, which were Allen and Steven.

Speaker: And then once I lost Allen, it was just basically I'm just going to zone in on Steven.

Speaker: And I was just chucking the ball.

Speaker: I was just chucking it, you know, praying.

Speaker: I was just throwing up Hail Marys every time.

Speaker: Just if he catches it, you know, we're going to move the chains.

Speaker: If he doesn't, then we're in the same exact spot that we've been in all games.

Speaker: So I didn't really worry about it.

Speaker: Towards the end, it was terrible.

Speaker: We'll get into it a little bit into our fantasy, but I got crushed to the point where I just kind of checked out from there.

Speaker: I wasn't in really a negative mood, but it was just bitter without the sweet.

Speaker: As we will find out in future episodes, this tournament spelled out the death of Habu.

Speaker: Habu will no longer be a thing.

Speaker: They died on that field physically, mentally, spiritually, and shall never be resurrected.

Speaker: Yeah, you kind of see the writing on the wall after, I think, the second touchdown.

Speaker: And then they get the ball back, and they go on offense and just couldn't get anything.

Speaker: And it was – I remember one time they were on offense, and it was like,

Speaker: Is this still the first half?

Speaker: It was the longest first half for the Habu that you probably could have asked for.

Speaker: And the second half, the hentai just kind of started messing around and trying whatever they wanted to.

Speaker: They were literally emoting on us in the game.

Speaker: They were Fortnite dancing.

Speaker: Next up on the games, I believe it went to...

Speaker: It was Buffaloes versus Shisas.

Speaker: Versus Shisas.

Speaker: That one, that was probably y'all's best showing, right?

Speaker: I think y'all did them in pretty good.

Speaker: The Shisas were just not very organized on defense.

Speaker: And their coverage was pretty bad.

Speaker: And we kind of just picked them apart.

Speaker: And when they only rushed two, it was pretty good.

Speaker: pretty easy for me to just sit back there and literally just find someone and put it on a dot.

Speaker: Yeah, I know for sure this is the game where you threw that beautiful 40-yard rainbow to your receiver in the end zone, which is super uncharacteristically nothing you would see from Matt.

Speaker: So, you know, congrats on that, but I want to see it happen again.

Speaker: No, it was – I mean, I could feel it.

Speaker: I mean, when the wind was in my back, I just literally –

Speaker: putting the ball right where it needed to be.

Speaker: And it was, it definitely felt very nice.

Speaker: Yeah, no, that was a good ball.

Speaker: That was your boy Lenny's him moment.

Speaker: He, me and him have had some, not really disagreements, but he thinks he's better than what I think he is.

Speaker: And I think where, how good he is, probably somewhere in between.

Speaker: I've tried to tell him to find gaps, and in that game he found the gaps, and I rewarded him.

Speaker: And he caught two, three balls in the end zone, toe tapping and just finding the spots.

Speaker: I know Bob had his second touchdown called back, and that does remind me in that first game we had a touchdown.

Speaker: We had our second touchdown of the day in that foster game, and it got called back for a block in the back.

Speaker: Which, again, I have no idea how you get a block in the back hole.

Speaker: The thought process to go through someone's mind to say, let me block them in the back, I don't think I've ever got a block in the back hole.

Speaker: Unless it was on the side, which is kind of debatable.

Speaker: Depends on the angle, I believe, in pad.

Speaker: But that just...

Speaker: Yeah, no, freaking Leonard, that was funny.

Speaker: Yeah, he got his first touchdown, a toe tap in the edge of the end zone, pulled it down.

Speaker: I think he got the extra point and he toe tapped it again.

Speaker: Then, yeah, so I think he had two touchdowns, an extra point, because there's that one touchdown where he was just found the seam right in the middle and just got it.

Speaker: That was funny.

Speaker: Then he had a couple of receptions throughout the field, but I would probably say he had about four or five catches for at least 50, 60 yards, two touchdowns, and an extra point.

Speaker: Big game from Leonard.

Speaker: That might have been your second leading receiver, to be honest.

Speaker: Yeah, freaking.

Speaker: We went up by three touchdowns, and then we went to put our quote-unquote backups in.

Speaker: And then they went down and scored because mainly because I wasn't in directing it.

Speaker: And when you don't have that director on defense, everybody tends to lose their mind.

Speaker: Not on offense, get the ball back and kind of showed us where Garcia struggles today.

Speaker: He threw a pick right away.

Speaker: And so then now we got to come back out and get another stop before it's a one position game.

Speaker: And we did get the stop.

Speaker: And then I just took the ball over and I think I took it down and scored again, I believe.

Speaker: I think it was to Zorns.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: No, that was a good game.

Speaker: Next up, you guys went back-to-back versus Hentai.

Speaker: That was off.

Speaker: The first half was uber competitive.

Speaker: I think the first half in 0-0.

Speaker: Yeah, the first half was 0-0.

Speaker: To end the first half, you guys were, like, within the five-yard line.

Speaker: Well, I think –

Speaker: Twice in the first half we got within the 10 yard line and then we couldn't get it.

Speaker: We couldn't punch it through and then they would drive a little bit and it was those those two drives where we didn't score inside the 10 wound up costing us the game ultimately.

Speaker: Yeah, no, it definitely did.

Speaker: I don't I know in the second half.

Speaker: And the second half, this wasn't a one-score game, right?

Speaker: It was a one-score game.

Speaker: Oh, it was.

Speaker: They scored a touchdown.

Speaker: I believe they missed the extra point.

Speaker: They might have gotten.

Speaker: I can't remember.

Speaker: But it was at least 6-0 because they got one breakaway.

Speaker: Because once you get that rain on the flags, it becomes a little harder.

Speaker: And you just got to pull a little faster, a little better.

Speaker: and they got one breakaway and they scored ultimately.

Speaker: But when I had my breakaways, I just, I couldn't, I was so close to finishing it.

Speaker: They just, they got me on the goal line basically like three times.

Speaker: Did you, you scored in the, against heavy weights?

Speaker: No.

Speaker: Okay, you did not.

Speaker: Well, then I'll recap this now.

Speaker: I remember during one of the games, it was like one of the very first plays

Speaker: I think you were at quarterback.

Speaker: Then you ran it, and then you just ran up the sideline.

Speaker: Nobody could pull your flags, and you ended up going all the way.

Speaker: Do you remember that play I'm talking about?

Speaker: That was literally the foster game.

Speaker: That was crazy.

Speaker: I came in for – I think that was my second play at quarterback, and I just took it for a touchdown.

Speaker: I just, every time you, like you'd think of that by now, I would just know that's what you're going to do.

Speaker: But every time I see it, I'm just in disbelief because nobody else, nobody else could do that.

Speaker: Like, I don't even know what it is.

Speaker: You're not as fast as, I don't know what it, you just, you just do it.

Speaker: And it's weird because I don't know why I really cannot figure it out.

Speaker: I can't wrap my hand, my, my head around why it works.

Speaker: And I'm speculating here, obviously, and you can tell me what you think.

Speaker: But I think I'm like a 4.7 speed, which is not anything blazing, right?

Speaker: It's not super slow.

Speaker: It's pretty decent.

Speaker: But in terms of lateral, I think I'm very good laterally.

Speaker: And my hip movement is just...

Speaker: you can imagine what it's like for my female.

Speaker: Oh my okay, stop it.

Speaker: Stop it.

Speaker: But nobody, nobody, I think it's a combination of the hip movement, and a little bit of speed.

Speaker: And the horizontal movement as well as the vision, I think, I think I have very good vision, and I can see angles and I can beat their angles by a simple hip twist.

Speaker: And it's just

Speaker: Yeah, I'll definitely say you're definitely more mobile than most.

Speaker: You're definitely not as fast as me, but you're more mobile.

Speaker: You're more flexible than I am.

Speaker: And you can change direction probably a little bit better than I can.

Speaker: The question of the day is who on that field made more people miss than me?

Speaker: Probably, let me think.

Speaker: the answer is that there's no one well regardless one thing that is funny about that is and i was i was wondering about i was trying to i was thinking about doing it but foster when they would run their like i formation runs and it just they had super success with it how does that work i don't know i don't understand because

Speaker: We couldn't do it, but for some reason their I-formation runs in a flag tournament was super effective for them.

Speaker: I just find that strange.

Speaker: I think that's weird.

Speaker: Someone said, I think it was Jamal, said that the key for his is that he moves the tackles out like a foot or two.

Speaker: So you give him a better running lane.

Speaker: We'll have to try it.

Speaker: But I think that leads us right into that last game of the day.

Speaker: With this all the most of it, I had to drive some people back to Hanson, Camp Hanson.

Speaker: Yeah, we had Hanson and Foster.

Speaker: So all touchdowns were scored in the first half.

Speaker: To start off, the scoring, Foster –

Speaker: I'm pretty sure.

Speaker: Oh, actually, no, it was a throw.

Speaker: So Zion threw it into the end zone, and I think it was batted up by a Hanson defender, and then Foster came down with it after it flipped up over into the end zone.

Speaker: Besides that, it had been close.

Speaker: Well, not really close.

Speaker: They kind of scored, and as the half was ready to go into halftime, Dre,

Speaker: All game he had been doing his thing.

Speaker: He's just been running around the backfield, not running around downfield at the rate he usually does.

Speaker: He still would break free in more football-intelligent moments, but he was doing his best to just extend the play and then get the ball down the field.

Speaker: He was rolling out to his left, and Fritz was literally sitting in the end zone waving his hands.

Speaker: On the run, Dre just threw a dot on him.

Speaker: And Fridge just grabbed it.

Speaker: Literally nobody was around.

Speaker: The safety was almost there by the time he caught the ball.

Speaker: But for whatever reason, there was no separate rule.

Speaker: There was a lot of separation.

Speaker: And then I think you know what happened in overtime?

Speaker: I didn't get to hear too much.

Speaker: All I know is that Hanson had – we do what's called penetration rules.

Speaker: which is where you penetrate into the offensive, the defensive, just kidding.

Speaker: The offense starts at the 40 and you get four downs to go as far into the defense as you can.

Speaker: And Hanson got seven yards further than Foster.

Speaker: And that's all I can remember from what I was told.

Speaker: Yeah, no, that's a, so to recap, um,

Speaker: Hanson is in the championship, and tomorrow it will be the heavyweights versus Foster in the loser's semis before they go on to challenge Hanson for the championship, which is crazy because I don't think ever since I've been on an island, I've never seen Hanson win anything.

Speaker: I remember they won the Turkey Bowl last year.

Speaker: I was not here for that.

Speaker: It was –

Speaker: I think the thing that blows my mind is just Foster and Hanson, they're nothing special.

Speaker: They're organized, which definitely helps out, right?

Speaker: They know, they pretty much know their assignments and they get a couple breakaway plays, right?

Speaker: But in terms of athletes compared to other teams, it's not that much different.

Speaker: And, um,

Speaker: The reason they had beat Foster, and I was playing on Foster at the time last year called the Greyhounds for the Turkey Bowl was just because that team just imploded on itself.

Speaker: Like, everyone just got mad at everybody.

Speaker: And Hanson just, X runs a pretty non-emotional ship.

Speaker: I mean, he is that, he controls that team.

Speaker: Like, if you don't put out, he benches you.

Speaker: And you have to,

Speaker: Prove to him that you should go back.

Speaker: Kind of like Bill Belichick.

Speaker: He has ultimate say on that team.

Speaker: And that's good and bad, right?

Speaker: I think that's great.

Speaker: I think it's great from a team having one mentality.

Speaker: But in terms of getting shared perspective, it's a little harder, right?

Speaker: Because if he likes his guys, but they're not actually the best guys, kind of like the Army-Navy game we saw last year,

Speaker: He just kind of rolls with them, which is good, but there's upside with other people sometimes.

Speaker: Yeah, no, that's separate.

Speaker: I mean, that's good in the tense of when his team is playing a game.

Speaker: So we got that from there.

Speaker: We'll roll into the fantasy aspect of it today.

Speaker: We don't actually have the points, but we can say with certainty how it looks.

Speaker: For instance, the first overall pick may or may not have

Speaker: You know, the first overall pick usually goes to the team that struggles the most.

Speaker: So though he was the first overall pick, he went to a shit team.

Speaker: And in the end, he tried his best but could not overcome the extreme amounts of adversity that just absolutely was slathered all over him.

Speaker: He worked so hard.

Speaker: He might have been the hardest worker in the tournament to get his team there.

Speaker: That's a lie.

Speaker: He was not trying on defense in the second game.

Speaker: But he was trying on offense when he could.

Speaker: Yeah, no, the first overall pick myself, you know, I thought I was going to be him.

Speaker: Unfortunately, I was not him.

Speaker: Unfortunately, Lenny was him.

Speaker: That was in retrospect.

Speaker: I knew Matt was going to be a do-it-all kind of guy, and I probably should have taken him.

Speaker: I almost did, but I just thought I was going to have touchdowns for days, and I forgot that offensive lines really, really matter.

Speaker: and they are an extremely underappreciated part of the football team.

Speaker: My next QB, the Hentai quarterback.

Speaker: It's definitely 29.

Speaker: I think he was the only quarterback.

Speaker: He had a good game against the Shisas.

Speaker: He also had a good game against Foster.

Speaker: And a good game against Habu.

Speaker: Yeah, a great game against Tabu.

Speaker: So, you know what?

Speaker: That was a pretty good pick.

Speaker: He probably came through for me.

Speaker: I don't know what his exact stats are.

Speaker: We won't know anybody's true stats, but we'll reveal the winner at the end of this.

Speaker: But the Hentai QB selection, pretty tight.

Speaker: I liked it.

Speaker: My skill position won Mon Irvin.

Speaker: He didn't really show out until later in the tournament, specifically against...

Speaker: I believe, oh, yeah, again, the Hanson, he had a couple more catches, but he wasn't that dominant wide receiver one that we're used to seeing.

Speaker: Steven had a couple catches.

Speaker: He had more drops than catches.

Speaker: We're going to leave it at that.

Speaker: White Shiesty, which is Hentai's guy, I don't know if he actually did anything.

Speaker: I'm going to be honest.

Speaker: He did have a catch.

Speaker: He had one catch.

Speaker: Was it a touchdown?

Speaker: Nope.

Speaker: All right.

Speaker: Moving on.

Speaker: Raham.

Speaker: Rahman.

Speaker: Rahim.

Speaker: Number 81.

Speaker: Bug-ag guy.

Speaker: He... It was like Mon Irvin.

Speaker: He just didn't really show up until later in the tournament.

Speaker: Had a couple catches.

Speaker: Did not turn into that wide receiver two I was looking for late.

Speaker: He was one of my later picks, but didn't really... Didn't turn out alright.

Speaker: My skill position five player, Max...

Speaker: I don't think he had a catch.

Speaker: I don't even think he had a target.

Speaker: So, you know, that was – I thought I was going to feed him because I thought we were going to run an offense in which you'd be targeted.

Speaker: But the offense was canned when I realized none of them knew the formations or how to figure out what their route was, which is just crazy because we had literally – we've literally never changed it.

Speaker: And, you know, for some reason they just cannot figure out what route is theirs.

Speaker: They know how to read it.

Speaker: They know exactly how to read it.

Speaker: They just don't know how to transition that into real life.

Speaker: Number 11, the twin, he was there.

Speaker: He was probably your best receiver, I think.

Speaker: Yeah, he was definitely my best receiver.

Speaker: He put out, and I appreciate that from him.

Speaker: Unfortunately, the rest of us let him down.

Speaker: You want to go through?

Speaker: Well, so let's see.

Speaker: If I had to guess your team's points,

Speaker: Just guessing, right?

Speaker: I would say 11 probably had like 10 points.

Speaker: It's probably under 30 points.

Speaker: Under 30 total points.

Speaker: I'd say between Mon, White, Shiesty, 11, Steven, it's probably about 20 points.

Speaker: Because I don't think any of them scored a touchdown.

Speaker: As I said, under 30 points.

Speaker: Under 200 yards.

Speaker: Stitt probably had... I literally had negative points from interceptions.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: And then Hentai quarterback is probably his biggest guy.

Speaker: So he's probably looking right about 40 points.

Speaker: I did forget that I had Hentai's quarterback.

Speaker: That does help me a little bit more than I thought.

Speaker: And then Elite Co, he probably got me maybe five points in one game.

Speaker: Maybe.

Speaker: Did he throw that one?

Speaker: It was a throwing.

Speaker: Okay, so...

Speaker: I got – that's what, five points plus whatever yard it was.

Speaker: He probably got you about 12 points in his best game.

Speaker: We'll take it.

Speaker: 12 points.

Speaker: And then I have the – so this is a weird one.

Speaker: I have the rusty quarterback, which was me.

Speaker: And I took myself as a skill receiver.

Speaker: So I think that kind of takes me out of the skill receiver, I think.

Speaker: I think you –

Speaker: No, I think you get both stats.

Speaker: I think what you did is that you just wasted a pick that would have been... You could have probably just... Well, yeah, you could have probably just taken you without Rusty's quarterback.

Speaker: You would have probably just gotten extra quarterback points.

Speaker: Could have taken Dre and just really... Yeah, no.

Speaker: Dre and Leonard were the two most underappreciated players in the tournament.

Speaker: They deserved more love.

Speaker: I think I had about...

Speaker: 20 points in the Shisha game.

Speaker: And then Dino was not there.

Speaker: Hopefully he gets me points tomorrow.

Speaker: We'll see.

Speaker: 81 had a literal opening drive, like 60-yard touchdown.

Speaker: Also, that is Hentai's quarterback, so I get that as well.

Speaker: So, yeah, Hentai probably had like 15, 20 points.

Speaker: 81 had at least 10 points on that catch.

Speaker: Weiss caught a touchdown against...

Speaker: I think that was against Shishas in their first game.

Speaker: It was either Shishas or Habu.

Speaker: One of the two.

Speaker: Jaquel, he had... I think he might have had a catch.

Speaker: Maybe a catch.

Speaker: Derek had an extra point.

Speaker: So, that's like two... Ten, so that's like 15...

Speaker: 81 had like, so that's probably like 25.

Speaker: Dino wasn't there.

Speaker: Elite Co had five.

Speaker: That's 30 plus myself.

Speaker: It's probably like 50.

Speaker: So I think I won 50 to 40.

Speaker: What he's saying is my guys were bums.

Speaker: But it's all right.

Speaker: I already paid my dues.

Speaker: I paid my debts.

Speaker: The meal at Coco's was transferred to a meal at some sort of Japanese restaurant, but it was dope.

Speaker: Very good.

Speaker: I think that next time I will pick better because it's hard to do as bad as I just did.

Speaker: So we'll get into it now, now that we've discussed the fantasy aspect of it.

Speaker: What is your prediction for tomorrow?

Speaker: There are still three teams in the tournament.

Speaker: We have

Speaker: the Hanson Outlaws with an automatic ticket to the championship.

Speaker: And then we got Foster versus Hentai in the semis in the loser's bracket.

Speaker: What are your thoughts on that?

Speaker: What are your predictions?

Speaker: I think if any team can score two touchdowns,

Speaker: they will be looking pretty good because I don't think in a game not against the Shisas or Habu anyone scored above seven points.

Speaker: So sad.

Speaker: I don't think I'm wrong on that.

Speaker: No, I think you're right.

Speaker: It was.

Speaker: So Hentai played elite.

Speaker: It was 7-6.

Speaker: Rusty played elite 7-6.

Speaker: Hanson played elite 7-7.

Speaker: Hentai played... Rusty 6-0.

Speaker: So if any team can score two touchdowns, they'll be sitting pretty.

Speaker: But I just don't... I don't even know if it's going to happen.

Speaker: I think if I had to go over-under in that, I'd probably go under just because of the fact that these defenses are...

Speaker: well put together, good communication, and the offenses are nothing special.

Speaker: There's not a receiver out here other than myself that can really go up and get the ball and not just the downfield, but

Speaker: I'm going to need you to pause, sir.

Speaker: Let's take this back to two weeks ago.

Speaker: In the CG Cup, there was a particular team known as the third MLG flag team, unofficially.

Speaker: Our quarterback was none other than the Connor Wallace, the best Lance Corporal mechanic, heavy machinery,

Speaker: Allegedly.

Speaker: And this just absolute gazelle of a man.

Speaker: We were down to our last seven players versus a team of over 15.

Speaker: And we fought and we fought and he had a dropped touchdown pass and I had a dropped touchdown pass as in we threw the ball and our receivers just dropped the ball as has happened a lot in my short career.

Speaker: We drive down the ball in the waning seconds of the second half.

Speaker: Wallace, the man himself, looks off the safety to the left side of the line.

Speaker: Matt goes flying to the left.

Speaker: He looks right.

Speaker: He sees me flying up the sideline fade route.

Speaker: He throws a beautiful ball with perfect arc right up over the corner.

Speaker: I go up and grab it, and the last thing I see...

Speaker: Matt Hasenplug flying across my face, just trying with all his might to stop me from coming down with that touchdown.

Speaker: He couldn't do it.

Speaker: He ended up falling on the ground, and I mossed him.

Speaker: So don't tell me nobody else can go up.

Speaker: You got absolutely mossed.

Speaker: You went over a two-foot-tall, tiny-ass man.

Speaker: Yeah, Matt just admitted that he's two feet tall.

Speaker: Anyways, so yeah, I tend to agree with what you said.

Speaker: It's probably going to come down to whoever can score.

Speaker: I think that with the way these teams have been playing, it's probably going to be hard to win two games against Hanson.

Speaker: Not impossible.

Speaker: I just, the defenses, with how the defense have played, how the offenses have played,

Speaker: For a team to score two touchdowns in two games against Hanson, I don't see it.

Speaker: I think Hanson gets one of those games against one of those teams.

Speaker: No, I agree.

Speaker: That was going to be exactly what I was going to say.

Speaker: You nailed it.

Speaker: There's not going to be a team tomorrow that's going to go – because they're playing three.

Speaker: If they win, they have to win three games in a row.

Speaker: They have to win the semis.

Speaker: They have to beat Hanson in the first and then beat Hanson in the what-if.

Speaker: In three games, back-to-back-to-back, not happening.

Speaker: I think Hansen gets a win.

Speaker: First tournament taken since the Turkey Bowl last year, which I was not there to see.

Speaker: So they deserve it.

Speaker: It took some time, but they got it.

Speaker: Definitely going to be going their way.

Speaker: Now, during this tournament, there was some challenges that I faced in which my guys, you know,

Speaker: When the weather is good, people are happy.

Speaker: When the weather is bad, people get sad.

Speaker: And as we were losing, everything just started falling apart.

Speaker: I'll admit, I got down.

Speaker: I realized I was leading a team of flag football players that were not flag football players.

Speaker: And I...

Speaker: I succeeded.

Speaker: I didn't succeed.

Speaker: I succeeded.

Speaker: Without the SU, just succeeded.

Speaker: I just wasn't in it anymore.

Speaker: I was just hoping and praying because I felt as if as a unit, we just all let each other down.

Speaker: And I would just, I'm not willing to play a game anymore that I'm passionate about with people that are not passionate about.

Speaker: Cause it just,

Speaker: It just saps my energy.

Speaker: I'm still sapped.

Speaker: And it's like hours later.

Speaker: All that to say, it brought to my attention once more, the challenges of leading other men.

Speaker: What do you have to say on leading men in a dire situation in which everything's falling apart?

Speaker: And even in your heart and mind, you think shit sucks.

Speaker: How do you think I could have handled that situation better in any given situation?

Speaker: Obviously, it was football.

Speaker: as Marines, what if we were pinned down in a bunker, people were getting killed and I was just, everybody's like, fuck it.

Speaker: I'm just like, fuck it.

Speaker: If it was me and my family and I just lost a ton of investment money in stocks and my wife is going crazy because, you know, money is gone, money is tight now, probably in debt now.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: Theoretically, you decide how I live.

Speaker: And how in the future...

Speaker: Or not even in the future.

Speaker: Just what should I do?

Speaker: What are your thoughts on what anyone should do in that situation when everything is kind of falling apart?

Speaker: And even in your head, you realize it's falling apart.

Speaker: Just expand on that for me.

Speaker: I remember when you first started Habbo and this guy was talking about all the camaraderie that this team had.

Speaker: We did have camaraderie.

Speaker: You did.

Speaker: While we were winning.

Speaker: And I think it's one of those things where –

Speaker: was new it was exciting people were into it they wanted to see it happen and then you could go to one tournament lose a game beat a bad team beat a good a decent team get kind of blown out against a better opponent and then this one and then in between that a bunch of players got hurt so now your best players from the last tournament that really helped you win those two games you did win

Speaker: are not there for this tournament and you just kinda, everyone sees the class divide between the teams and the writing just kinda got on the wall in the faces.

Speaker: And so this is something that I go back to in terms of Marines, football players, life.

Speaker: especially as a man, is you just, you can't shake at all because we talked about this too.

Speaker: If you doubt yourself a little bit, people see it, people sense it.

Speaker: And I've noticed very vividly the difficulties I've had in the close games, right?

Speaker: Where people are a little on edge because we're down by like a score, right?

Speaker: Or a point.

Speaker: And they start to lose their fat ass minds.

Speaker: And they want to do whatever they want to do.

Speaker: And it just, it doesn't work.

Speaker: And I'm not, I'll be the first to say, I have definitely lost my cool when I haven't needed to.

Speaker: But you bounce back because that's all you can do.

Speaker: You can't let them keep you down.

Speaker: because Then you're submitting defeat and so before the next tournament I'm gonna be hype again and I'm gonna think I'm gonna win again and that's the mentality I bring to to every Every event I do because like stith said When it's fair weather fans right when you're winning people want to be around it.

Speaker: That's just that's life people like winners, right?

Speaker: but

Speaker: Not everything's a win, right?

Speaker: There was a lot of losses Michael Jordan had to lose before he won his championships.

Speaker: And you will lose a lot.

Speaker: And if you can get really good at losing, eventually, if you try long enough, you will get very good at winning.

Speaker: And I remember the first 2021 season that Fly Guy had out here, I lost a lot of games.

Speaker: And I learned a lot of rules.

Speaker: And literally during this game, I was calling out the ref's call before the ref made it.

Speaker: And he yelled at me in a joking way to let him do his job because I just told him what his job was.

Speaker: And as a man, if you know your shit, you can kind of call people out on their shit.

Speaker: And I've seen this on my job.

Speaker: And I have my Marines, they don't know their shit.

Speaker: And I just call them out.

Speaker: I'm like, hey, and you have to just be stone-faced.

Speaker: Be better.

Speaker: And it's never going to get easier.

Speaker: And I think the reason, part of the reason I joined the Marine Corps was for these exact opportunities to lead Marines and be put in difficult situations.

Speaker: And I have grown from it, and I am thankful for it.

Speaker: Yeah, no, with my guys,

Speaker: I'm gonna be honest with you.

Speaker: I definitely was not happy with today.

Speaker: I don't think I was visibly doubting myself.

Speaker: I had definitely...

Speaker: It wasn't even lost hope.

Speaker: It was just everybody knew, like you said, there's levels to sports, and our team was a level below other teams.

Speaker: And it was just so apparent.

Speaker: They wanted to rally in their own way.

Speaker: but they weren't good enough football players to have a real way besides my way.

Speaker: So the way to rally was just kind of sit and scream and shout and tell me I'm doing it wrong without telling me how to fix it.

Speaker: Then I asked him how to fix it and tried their ways.

Speaker: And Steven got his ball batted at the line of scrimmage because he's

Speaker: fast, but he's not fast enough to escape two people that are in his face as he's catching the ball.

Speaker: And he's not tall enough to throw over them.

Speaker: So that didn't really work.

Speaker: But yeah, overall, I think it was a good experience.

Speaker: And I know what I learned from it is it's good to lead people, but some people

Speaker: You got to be cautious of who you have on your team.

Speaker: Because if you just allow just any old Joe Schmo on your team, you're not always going to be able to raise them up.

Speaker: If you have a couple, you could probably raise them up.

Speaker: And sometimes they'll shine.

Speaker: But if you have enough of them, instead of letting everybody shine and bringing them up together, unless you're LeBron James, they might just hold you back.

Speaker: They might keep you from getting to that finals run or...

Speaker: whatever, they don't got enough firepower to keep you going.

Speaker: One thing that really took me by surprise, not by surprise, makes perfect sense, is this lady, this chick was talking on something real.

Speaker: She was like, if you sit next to a high performer, your performance tends to increase by about 15%.

Speaker: Counter to that, if you sit by a poor performer, you perform 30% less.

Speaker: And I think if you surround yourself, good people who have good spirits, who care, who want to play well, and hopefully do play well, you will want to be there, want to give more, and play better.

Speaker: Yeah, that's definitely true.

Speaker: For those that don't know, i.e.

Speaker: everybody else besides me and Matt,

Speaker: What Matt said about going into the next tournament with the mindset of winning, the only reason he thinks that is because we will win because we're back, baby.

Speaker: The rusty buffaloes are going back to full strength.

Speaker: We will be looking back at this moment one day when we lift up that trophy in October and say we knew it because it is inevitable.

Speaker: It's going to happen.

Speaker: The, uh, the Shields League and the October are definitely stepping stones we want to hit with our ultimate goal being the Turkey Bowl.

Speaker: That one is, is the crown jewel out here.

Speaker: And personally, my goal without a doubt is the MVP trophy for the Turkey Bowl.

Speaker: Yeah, I definitely think the Turkey Bowl is going to be also, it's going to definitely be the pinnacle, um,

Speaker: What I want to see happen is I want to be targeting you so much that they start double or triple teaming you and it just opens up the field so that I'm just dotting everybody up and then it just gets to a point where they have to go back and then we can just keep on just forcing them to go from double and triple teaming you to just having to go and cover somebody else and then just

Speaker: We should be able to overpower them is what I'm saying.

Speaker: I think that the defense, the skill level out here is obviously not the best.

Speaker: And so with a little bit of intelligence and a little bit of athleticism, you can basically cook any defense out here.

Speaker: About 90% of guys.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Like it's –

Speaker: Obviously they will have schemes, but you'll have schemes, right?

Speaker: And I think with it and the practice we can do before the next one, we should definitely be able to come out, come out hot and just target, target me earlier, early, and then

Speaker: opening up for everybody else because I mean, it's pretty apparent today with the mistack.

Speaker: Like there's no, no one, no one can guard me one-on-one.

Speaker: Yeah, no, that's definitely going to be a lot of fun.

Speaker: I think you're right.

Speaker: I don't think anybody's going to be able to guard you one-on-one.

Speaker: And I, I look forward to you putting on just an absolute immaculate DeAndre Hopkins impression.

Speaker: I think we will hopefully we can break some records.

Speaker: That would be crazy because for those that don't know, the records in a tournament is he would have to get over 350 yards receiving.

Speaker: I think he would have to snag over six touchdowns and get in the ballpark of 20 catches.

Speaker: which is totally, totally doable.

Speaker: Catch is bare minimum.

Speaker: If you're just going to... Because we already do have that chemistry more so than most other players do, as we've already been grinding the practice fields.

Speaker: That curl...

Speaker: It's gonna be lethal.

Speaker: It's gonna be doing, if I get you on that curl to the left side, we just run it around a little bit more.

Speaker: And if we're in the end zone, I'm gonna let you know, I'm probably not throwing it over the top.

Speaker: I'm gonna wanna hit you back shoulder away from the DB, because they're not gonna be expecting it.

Speaker: And then when you break, because not a lot of receivers could physically break away from the DB and go back to the ball.

Speaker: They would just watch it sail out of bounds.

Speaker: And it just changes the game.

Speaker: It gives me so much more room for error

Speaker: And it's amazing to have a receiver that can actually make plays.

Speaker: Because all the receivers say, trust me, let me make plays.

Speaker: And by that, they mean give me an almost perfect to a perfect ball in tight coverage, and I won't drop it.

Speaker: But when you have somebody that could really, like, even if I don't give it to him on the dot, he'll make the extra effort to get it.

Speaker: It just looks better all around.

Speaker: It makes everybody look better.

Speaker: It makes him look athletic.

Speaker: It makes the quarterback look better.

Speaker: It just works.

Speaker: So I look forward to it.

Speaker: It's going to be a lot of fun.

Speaker: We've got to figure out.

Speaker: A bunch of strategy, but we got some time to do that and put in some work, and we will definitely be ready for the next tournament.

Speaker: Ooh, and the new footballs may or may not be here this week.

Speaker: I hope that we can put in some work with the new footballs.

Speaker: Two of them, two leather footballs.

Speaker: So that would be nice.

Speaker: One of them even has the Carolina Panthers logo.

Speaker: All right, so next up on the topic, tomorrow night at 20.10, for those that don't know, Japan or maybe just specifically Okinawa uses the 24-hour clock.

Speaker: So at 20.10, i.e.

Speaker: 8.10 on Japanese Standard Time, we will be at the Kings, the Golden Knights, Golden King, Golden Knights.

Speaker: No idea.

Speaker: The Okinawa Division II professional basketball team is hosting the FIBA Basketball World Cup for the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia region.

Speaker: The teams that we are going to specifically watch tomorrow will be Germany and Slovenia.

Speaker: Let's figure it out.

Speaker: It looks like we got Dennis Schroeder.

Speaker: I'm assuming this is Isaac Bunga.

Speaker: To be honest with you, I don't know if any of you.

Speaker: This might be Wagner.

Speaker: That's Moe Wagner.

Speaker: Yeah, Moe Wagner.

Speaker: Franz Wagner is on the right.

Speaker: This guy?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Franz Wagner.

Speaker: Could hit the roster and see if we know any names.

Speaker: Yeah, I'm assuming it's going to.

Speaker: Oh, there we go.

Speaker: Isaac Bunga, the point guard.

Speaker: Yeah, that's him right there.

Speaker: The 6'8 point guard.

Speaker: He plays for FC Baron Munchen.

Speaker: Munich.

Speaker: Munich.

Speaker: I should know that.

Speaker: I'm from a Bavarian town, but I don't.

Speaker: Mayoto Low.

Speaker: Huh.

Speaker: Nails Giffy.

Speaker: Johannes Valkman.

Speaker: Franz Wagner.

Speaker: Daniel Tice.

Speaker: I did not know that.

Speaker: Where's he at?

Speaker: Number 10.

Speaker: Dang, he does not look that tall.

Speaker: I guess these guys are just giants.

Speaker: Who is number seven?

Speaker: Jonas Voigtman.

Speaker: Center, 6'11".

Speaker: Yeah, he's a pretty good big guy.

Speaker: I thought Daniel Tyson would at least be 6'10".

Speaker: He's a center, right?

Speaker: Power forward, I guess.

Speaker: Well, that's crazy.

Speaker: I did not know he was German.

Speaker: Moe Wagner, Dennis Schroeder, Justice Holatz,

Speaker: johannes thayman thayman andreas obst and david kramer that is the german 2023 fiba world cup they're in group k and they're ranked 11th in the world nice let's look at uh games and results so they beat the japanese national team a1 to 63

Speaker: They beat Australia, 85-82.

Speaker: Oh, that was in Okinawa too.

Speaker: These are all in Okinawa.

Speaker: They beat Finland by a lot.

Speaker: The marksmen.

Speaker: Georgia, they beat.

Speaker: And Slovenia will be tomorrow.

Speaker: Now, Slovenia.

Speaker: Obviously, we're looking forward to going to see the man, the myth, the legend.

Speaker: Luka Luka down shit this guy over here is Hidden that's that's unfortunate.

Speaker: I think I recognize this guy definitely just going to watch Goran drogic.

Speaker: It's not maxi cleaver.

Speaker: Is it no?

Speaker: Okay Go to roster soon.

Speaker: Is that Gorgon?

Speaker: Gorgon?

Speaker: Gorgon?

Speaker: Goran drogic?

Speaker: I think that is all right, let's check it out or maybe he's the hidden guy I

Speaker: Ziga Samar Alex Nikolic these names are really hard I'm going to bridge them out Clemen Preplik Mike Tobi nice and easy Jaka Blazik Gregor Horovat Ziga Demik Zorondrogik Bain Preplik

Speaker: Gregor Glass, Jacob Sabask, and Luka Doncic.

Speaker: Well, that's crazy.

Speaker: It's not Goran Dragic's brother, Zoran Dragic.

Speaker: Crazy.

Speaker: Wait, where's he at?

Speaker: Right there.

Speaker: He actually, oh, wow.

Speaker: So he does play professional basketball, just not in the NBA.

Speaker: Huh.

Speaker: And he's 6'5".

Speaker: How tall is Goran?

Speaker: That's the same, 6'5", 6'4".

Speaker: That's funny.

Speaker: So, obviously, on paper, I would say Germany would probably be better because they've had more NBA players.

Speaker: Go to games and results.

Speaker: That is not true.

Speaker: FIBA World Cup ranks Slovenia 7th and Germany 11th.

Speaker: They beat Venezuela by a ton, 100-85.

Speaker: They beat Georgia, 88-67.

Speaker: Germany was able to beat Georgia, 100-73.

Speaker: I don't know what the... Once you get to a certain point, I really don't think it matters.

Speaker: I don't think so either.

Speaker: Slovenia beat... I have no idea who that is.

Speaker: Cape Verde.

Speaker: Cape Verde, 92-77.

Speaker: They beat Australia by more than Germany did.

Speaker: I think that's probably a better telltale sign.

Speaker: Well, Australia will have NBA players too.

Speaker: Josh Giddey, Patty Mills, Joe Ingles.

Speaker: Yeah, you're right.

Speaker: That's definitely better than Georgia, who has Zaza.

Speaker: I was going to say Zaza, but Julio.

Speaker: He probably doesn't play anymore.

Speaker: Yeah, so that's what they got.

Speaker: We're going to be there tomorrow.

Speaker: Look at that.

Speaker: Luka Doncic leads.

Speaker: Okay, I think this is just team.

Speaker: Yep.

Speaker: And he doesn't lead for everything, but he's... No, he does.

Speaker: No, he doesn't.

Speaker: Look.

Speaker: Oh, oh.

Speaker: Oh, my gosh.

Speaker: He is the top performer in efficiency per game.

Speaker: He has the most points per game with 27.3.

Speaker: The next, his B, his number two, Kleeman Preplik, has 15.5 points a game.

Speaker: He has 7.8 rebounds a game compared to Mike Tobey, who is 6'11 with 7.3.

Speaker: He's 7 foot.

Speaker: Really?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: You sure?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: What?

Speaker: How did you know that?

Speaker: Do you think I'm going to lie to you?

Speaker: I just thought you were stupid.

Speaker: He thinks that I'm not as smart as I am.

Speaker: Assists per game, seven.

Speaker: Wow, he leads his team in everything.

Speaker: That's funny.

Speaker: Oh, that's why.

Speaker: In my opinion, and I don't know if anybody cares about my opinion, but I think he's the best player in the world.

Speaker: I think if he had a better team...

Speaker: And I don't know if that's his – I don't know what the Mavs should do because they just keep him fucking it up.

Speaker: But – So apparently Dennis Schroeder is him.

Speaker: He leads his team in every category except rebounds.

Speaker: He has a performance efficiency per game rating of 18.8.

Speaker: Luka had almost double at 30.

Speaker: He has 18.8.

Speaker: So they're just a more well-rounded team than Slovenia.

Speaker: 18.8 points a game.

Speaker: Franz Wagner with six rebounds a game.

Speaker: Dennis Schroeder with six.

Speaker: That's the thing.

Speaker: Only one person taking the shot.

Speaker: So if Luka takes all your shots, it's pretty equal to each guy from their team taking five.

Speaker: Yeah, no, it's definitely going to be a good matchup, I think.

Speaker: I think this is the game to watch.

Speaker: Yeah, this is going to be fun.

Speaker: Are we in the bowl?

Speaker: No.

Speaker: We're standing?

Speaker: I think we are.

Speaker: I think we're high up.

Speaker: I have no idea.

Speaker: I just bought tickets because I want to get inside and then we can walk around.

Speaker: So even if we're standing, we still have great.

Speaker: I've been in there.

Speaker: The lighting is very good.

Speaker: So we'll be able to see everything.

Speaker: It'll be pretty sick.

Speaker: This is the game to watch.

Speaker: This is the finale.

Speaker: We get to say – Two 4-0 teams.

Speaker: We get to say that we've seen Luka Doncic play on the Slovenia national team in Japan.

Speaker: In Japan.

Speaker: That's the coolest part.

Speaker: And we also got to see Mo Wagner, Franz Wagner, Dennis Schroeder, Daniel Tice.

Speaker: I think that – Maudu Lowe.

Speaker: The full game.

Speaker: Whoever Drogic's brother is, whatever his name was, –

Speaker: What was his name?

Speaker: Zoran Drogic.

Speaker: He plays for Slovenia, right?

Speaker: I just told you his name is Zoran Drogic.

Speaker: Which is Slovenia, right?

Speaker: Yes.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: Mike Tobey.

Speaker: He's good.

Speaker: He's a seven-foot.

Speaker: He's a baller.

Speaker: Yeah, so that should be fun.

Speaker: They have a – I wonder if this might be the last – so this is the last game in Okinawa for the – Wow, we barely got in.

Speaker: Yeah, we needed –

Speaker: Are you going to buy yourself a Luka Doncic Slovenia jersey?

Speaker: I might.

Speaker: If it looks nice enough.

Speaker: If it's white.

Speaker: It looks pretty white.

Speaker: Come on, dude.

Speaker: They also look like they have pretty white jerseys.

Speaker: I guess I do have a... Oh, no.

Speaker: That's the German team.

Speaker: I thought you were looking at the Slovenian team.

Speaker: No, no.

Speaker: Slovenian team definitely looks black.

Speaker: Here, fuck.

Speaker: What?

Speaker: What?

Speaker: Pause.

Speaker: That is a very white jersey, you stupid idiot.

Speaker: They are very white.

Speaker: jerseys oh australia has nice jerseys i like that that green that sea green it's funny ben simmons said he wants to go back and play for philadelphia i did see that i don't think i don't think philadelphia wants ben simmons there's no chance um wow let's uh see that i want to take pictures like this is that a woman no

Speaker: You think a woman's playing men's basketball?

Speaker: You idiots.

Speaker: I think it's funny that all these NBA players are basically playing basketball year round.

Speaker: That looks like 2K.

Speaker: What else would you do?

Speaker: Take the off season to go home and chill.

Speaker: I mean, they have, I mean.

Speaker: Is Nikola Jokic, is he playing with Serbia?

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: Did Serbia even make it?

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: I mean, I want to look at Germany's photos.

Speaker: Who's this?

Speaker: It's probably, oh, that's Georgia.

Speaker: Oh, dude, he got rid of his stripe.

Speaker: Wow.

Speaker: And he gave it to Bonga.

Speaker: I like the Wagner brothers.

Speaker: I've been on, I think they're good, solid role players.

Speaker: Franz Wagner is supposed to be more than a role player.

Speaker: I mean, he needs to step up if Magic is going to do anything.

Speaker: Wasn't last season his rookie season?

Speaker: No, he's been there for like two years.

Speaker: Okay.

Speaker: He's still really young, bro.

Speaker: He is.

Speaker: He is.

Speaker: Don't get me wrong.

Speaker: Extremely young.

Speaker: He's probably going to be an all-star at some point.

Speaker: Maybe.

Speaker: I think Paolo's going to be an all-star.

Speaker: Paolo?

Speaker: Paolo.

Speaker: Oh, okay.

Speaker: I was about to say Norman Paolo.

Speaker: Paolo.

Speaker: Paolo.

Speaker: Paolo

Speaker: He might have been, but I don't think so.

Speaker: I would be surprised.

Speaker: He had amazing scoring numbers.

Speaker: Is it Bancaro or Banchero?

Speaker: Banchero.

Speaker: But it's pronounced Banchero.

Speaker: Banchero.

Speaker: Huh.

Speaker: No, he was not an all-star.

Speaker: I thought he was.

Speaker: Dude, this guy just keeps on doubting me.

Speaker: It is starting to piss me off.

Speaker: I really thought he had really good stats last year.

Speaker: Yeah, for a rookie.

Speaker: For an NBA player.

Speaker: He had good stats for an NBA player.

Speaker: But he's not a superstar.

Speaker: Do you know how tall he is?

Speaker: He's like 6'11".

Speaker: Yeah, he's 6'10".

Speaker: He had 20 points per game.

Speaker: Okay, okay.

Speaker: Okay, maybe not all-star.

Speaker: He will be.

Speaker: That's his rookie year.

Speaker: Think about that.

Speaker: What's next?

Speaker: What's next on the agenda?

Speaker: I didn't know he was such a big man.

Speaker: That's a big man.

Speaker: Dude, he must have a massive shoe.

Speaker: Whoa, come on, man.

Speaker: Leave this man's shoe size out of the conversation, all right?

Speaker: Okay, okay.

Speaker: I will leave his shoe size.

Speaker: Yeah, leave his shoe size.

Speaker: Did you know Kenny Pickett has really small hands?

Speaker: I did know that.

Speaker: Have you ever seen a picture of his hands?

Speaker: I also heard Joe Burrow has really small hands.

Speaker: So I keep on hearing that Kenny Pickett has really small hands, and I've never seen them before.

Speaker: His hands look perfectly okay.

Speaker: Hand size literally popped up before you even type it in.

Speaker: Look, you can see this.

Speaker: Eight and five-eighths inches.

Speaker: He's the smallest hands of any active quarterback.

Speaker: I still remember the Kenny Pickett slide delete where he went for the slide and then scored a touchdown.

Speaker: And then shortly after that game, that definitely got banned very quickly.

Speaker: So now I'm confused.

Speaker: Are my hands bigger than Kenny Pickett's?

Speaker: Let's just get a tape measure.

Speaker: I'll measure everything.

Speaker: I don't have a tape measure.

Speaker: That's on you.

Speaker: I don't either.

Speaker: I want to know now because if I have bigger hands than Kenny Pickett, I would be very excited.

Speaker: He's going pro.

Speaker: They look like normal hands.

Speaker: I really don't see it.

Speaker: I mean, this is also a six foot three man.

Speaker: They still, if he has small hands for a six foot three, I would, I would, all right, this is the only one where I think his hands look small.

Speaker: Next to the ball.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: But well, all the other ones, like this one looks fine.

Speaker: It's just this one particularly, his hands look small.

Speaker: Wait, hold on.

Speaker: No, his hand looks weird.

Speaker: Oh, that's probably not his hand.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: I'm going to measure my hand eventually now.

Speaker: Did you know what is the only helmet in the NFL that is not the same on both sides?

Speaker: What is it?

Speaker: It is indeed the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Speaker: Oh, oh, okay.

Speaker: That's not at all what I thought you were saying.

Speaker: I thought you meant like speed flex or like a F1, a shoot, or one of the freaking Zenith weird ones or the one that Nick Bosa wears.

Speaker: You did not specify that question very well.

Speaker: You didn't ask any questions about it.

Speaker: Also, I don't think that's true.

Speaker: Name one.

Speaker: Baltimore.

Speaker: Nope.

Speaker: I think you're capping.

Speaker: Baltimore alternate.

Speaker: No, Baltimore flag helmet.

Speaker: The fuck is a flag helmet?

Speaker: So I assumed they had a Baltimore Ravens helmet.

Speaker: That was kind of like the University of Maryland's one where maybe they had

Speaker: that was that's not true you know you're just wrong yeah that was that is false you're just disgusting how could you do this to yourself okay so i can still look like a fool yeah texans signs green bay uh dude i'm telling no no no that's fault you're wrong the jaguars no

Speaker: Look at that.

Speaker: Is this side the same as this side?

Speaker: No, no.

Speaker: I'm telling you, there's one where it splits down the middle.

Speaker: There's one where it splits down the middle.

Speaker: I swear.

Speaker: It's okay.

Speaker: You can take the elbow.

Speaker: No, there is one where it... But I'm also talking about like...

Speaker: Like not some out the box made up one.

Speaker: The normal helmets for each team.

Speaker: That blue looks interesting.

Speaker: Dang.

Speaker: I never realized it was split like this.

Speaker: I always thought it was like a racing stripe.

Speaker: And then one half was like this and the other half was like that.

Speaker: Jack was kind of weird.

Speaker: I remember when this helmet came out, I thought it was really weird.

Speaker: It's disgusting.

Speaker: And now it's grown on me.

Speaker: It looks kind of cool.

Speaker: Like the Browns have the same.

Speaker: Baltimore, Cincinnati, they got the same on both sides.

Speaker: The Jets.

Speaker: Did you see Josh Allen's blue helmet?

Speaker: No.

Speaker: It is very fire.

Speaker: Blue Buffalo helmet.

Speaker: Actually, I might have.

Speaker: I thought that was Photoshopped.

Speaker: No, it was real.

Speaker: He wore it to practice.

Speaker: Interesting.

Speaker: That looks pretty sick, huh?

Speaker: I still like the white.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: I think white is just better.

Speaker: With this red, I think the blue looks really, really good.

Speaker: It's true.

Speaker: I also like the Seahawk color rush jerseys.

Speaker: The highlighter ones?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: I've had people give me very different answers on if I like this one or not.

Speaker: I am...

Speaker: I like it more than I don't like it, but I've seen some better jerseys.

Speaker: I think this is one of the best jerseys in the NFL.

Speaker: NFL, yes.

Speaker: But the college jersey game is on a different point.

Speaker: Which is weird.

Speaker: That is weird.

Speaker: I don't know why that would be, to be honest.

Speaker: Oh, it's because maybe because the NFL sells more jerseys, so people want to have the most up-to-date one if they're changing it all the time.

Speaker: I know people always get mad when players change their number.

Speaker: That's just a theory.

Speaker: Just a theory.

Speaker: I don't know.

Speaker: Hypothetically.

Speaker: Yeah, it might be a thing, might not.

Speaker: I just have to see this again.

Speaker: I have to see it again.

Speaker: Have you seen the cold blue?

Speaker: So there's a picture of Brian Burns, right?

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: So he's been doing this since he was a child.

Speaker: It's always been his thing, which I thought was weird.

Speaker: I just learned that recently.

Speaker: Whoa.

Speaker: They didn't even get to show me that very much.

Speaker: Who is this?

Speaker: I don't even know who that is.

Speaker: It's probably a punter.

Speaker: And that's sad because this is recent.

Speaker: These jerseys are new.

Speaker: Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker: I think these helmets are better.

Speaker: I agree.

Speaker: Was I supposed to look something else up?

Speaker: Colts blue?

Speaker: Oh, yeah, the Colts.

Speaker: Black uniform.

Speaker: I have not seen this.

Speaker: It looks almost the exact same thing.

Speaker: Black helmet.

Speaker: Blue.

Speaker: I like when they have jerseys like this.

Speaker: Not for every day, but every once in a while just to squish it up.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Yes, sir.

Speaker: What's our next topic?

Speaker: That's all I had.

Speaker: That's all we got today?

Speaker: That's all we have.

Speaker: Come back tomorrow with the conclusion.

Speaker: Yeah.

Speaker: Maybe some tips for the week.

Speaker: Tomorrow we'll be back with a conclusion.

Speaker: Some tips for the week.

Speaker: We have Monday and Tuesday off.

Speaker: Easy day.

Speaker: We'll come back Monday with...

Speaker: NFL predictions and the FIBA basketball experience the FIBA basketball yep yep that'll be fun I think that'll be it so play some dramatic music and that's yep that'll be it bro
