Speaker: Cuancho Hernan Gomez has agreed to a one-year deal with the Toronto Raptors.
Speaker: The big man from Madrid, Spain, played for three teams last season.
Speaker: He played 18 games for the Boston Celtics, five with the San Antonio Spurs, and 17 with Utah.
Speaker: He also played six playoff games for the Jazz last season.
Speaker: Hernan Gomez, of course, played as Bo Cruz in the Netflix movie Hustle.
Speaker: In the G League, or the National Basketball Developmental League, Sharif O'Neal has agreed to play with the G League Ignite.
Speaker: after going undrafted in this year's NBA draft and played with the LA Lakers during the Summer League.
Speaker: The 6'10 big man from UCLA is rumored to sign a six-figure contract with Ignite.
Speaker: Sharif is the son of Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal.
Speaker: In the international competition, Australia was hailed as the overall champion in the recently concluded 2022 FIBA Asia Tournament by beating Lebanon with a score of 75-73.
Speaker: The Australians were led by NBA veteran Thon Maker with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
Speaker: Meanwhile, Team Lebanon was led by its own El Arakji with a game-high 28 points.
