Speaker: In the NBA, Goran Dragic has signed a one-year contract worth $2.9 million with the Chicago Bulls.
Speaker: Last season, Dragic suited up for the Brooklyn Nets where he played 16 games and averaged 7.3 points per game in 25 minutes of action.
Speaker: The 6'3 guard from Slovenia was an all-star back in 2018 while playing for the Miami Heat.
Speaker: The entire NBA community mourns the death of Hall of Famer Bill Russell.
Speaker: The Celtic legend passed away last July 31 at his home in Mercer Island in Washington.
Speaker: Russell currently holds the record of most NBA championships with 11, all playing for the Boston Celtics from 1956 to 1969.
Speaker: We now go to the National Football League.
Speaker: The Dallas Cowboys have signed linebacker Anthony Barr to a one-year contract.
Speaker: Barr was selected 9th overall in the 2014 draft by the Minnesota Vikings, where he was also a 4-time Pro Bowler from 2015 to 2018.
Speaker: It can be recalled in 2019 that Barr has agreed to a lucrative deal with the New York Jets before he changed his mind and decided to stay with Minnesota.
Speaker: Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was slapped with a six-name suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy after allegations of sexual misconduct on 24 women, 20 of which were settled last June.
Speaker: Watson last played for the Houston Texans in 2020, where he became a three-time Pro Bowler before the Browns traded for him last year.
Speaker: The 6'2 quarterback from Clemson is currently one of the highest paid players in the NFL.
