Speaker: In terms of January, and you mentioned Juventus there, now Juventus are trying to sign a centre forward before the end of the transfer window. I mean, that's public knowledge now. Our understanding is that Gianluca Schemaka of Sassuolo is the player Juve the club won.
Speaker: The following is a clip from this week's Italian football podcast.
Speaker: and they're actually in talks for that but Giroud is the player that Andrea Pirlo wants. Now according to your information has there been any contact between the parties for a January move and is there any chance at all that Giroud could join Juventus this month or is that just completely out of the question?
Speaker: Yeah, there was contact as early as November for, as Giroud moved to Juventus and it was definitely Giroud's number one option. I mean, he's had Inter coming in last year in January, but they don't seem to be in the market for him. And Lazio were also into him, interested in him and Tottenham. And he was, he really wanted to leave last January and he got back in the team under Lampard and kind of saved Chelsea's season. A brilliant player. I mean, we all know that.
