057 – Erden Eruç Shares What Drives Him to Record-Breaking Feats and Cross the World By Land and Sea

Years ago, at a meeting of great groups doing amazing work to protect the ocean and seas, I was introduced to a guy called Doug Woodring and his group Ocean Recovery Alliance. He was featured in episode 37 (link here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJf-a1VJ8yI). Doug seems so well connected and while speaking he said if I can swing it, I really should talk with his friend, Erden Eruç. As in, REALLY. So I reached out and we set up a call.  

For standard interviews, it's really important to do research – but not on these podcasts! The show is about the RAW moment, unfiltered, open, connection. The magic that happens when two people meet. This is also important to me because of the work I've done through Service Leadership with Po Chung. Together, we really got into why the connection between two people, is itself so crucial  So full of possibility. This, after all, was the magic of how Po helped build DHL into such a global powerhouse.   

Meeting Erden as I did, not knowing his story, mission and incredible journey, I discovered a driven, inspired, and totally amazing man I can't say enough great things about. This guy rowed, kayaked, pedaled, walked, and otherwise moved himself around the world. AROUND. THE. WORLD!
