Today with me I have Rashi Narang, founder of Heads up for tails. A prominent go-to brand for all your pets needs having products ranging from a wide variety of food brands to likes of orthopedic beds and organic supplements.

In this episode we talked about RashI's journey of setting up Heads Up For tails after not finding any good products for her pet,  scaling across India with a new business model and a key moment in her journey, when she won the highly competitive  Lufthansa's Runway to Success program season 4 from amongst 60,000 entrepreneurs.  

Rashi grew up with family pets and at a young age, developed a strong sense of compassion for other beings. It was no surprise then that she left her corporate job to follow her heart. Rashi’s pet, Sara, showed her the way.

While searching markets for products that would fulfill Sara’s needs, Rashi realized that pet parents in India did not have access to products that could improve their pet’s lives.

In 2008, she decided to take on the big task of turning things around for pets and kick-started a home-based business called Heads Up For Tails. Today, 13 years later, Heads Up For Tails with 32 stores pan India and a prominent online presence is the go-to brand for all pet needs.

Heads Up For Tails was also named "Brand of the Year" at the prestigious World Branding Awards - Animalis Edition for two consecutive years.
