Speaker: It truly was. The first opening 25 minutes were some of the best football I think I've seen interplay for many, many years, not just during the Simonin -Zagiera, but generally speaking. They were tactically outstanding. The balance was right between defence and attack and the individual performances. Everyone bought in and executed the game plan to the letter.
Speaker: It was just a fantastic performance all around, but we have to give a special shout out to Simoni Nzagi for really dominating and pulling down Stefano Pioli's pants tactically in the first half, completely outclassing him tactically. But above all,
Speaker: the two ex -Roma players, the veterans, Edin Jeko, who for me was the man of the match, but also Henrik Mikitarian, who was UEFA's man of the match. They were outstanding. They showed exactly why Simon Inzagi decided to play them. And with Mikitarian, he's now, with him getting the man of the match by UEFA, Inter have had now four midfielders be the man of the match in UEFA Champions League this season, which is extraordinary. And that's where football games are won in midfield.
Speaker: Which is where Milan lost the game, isn't it, Carlo? What happened? Well, they lost it everywhere, Milan. They didn't turn up. They froze on the big occasion. They were just so nervous, so many unforced errors, bad clearances, bad touches. Defensively, they were shocking the two centre backs. Tamori,
Speaker: who I love as a player, was a disaster. He made mistake after mistake. Kiara was just as bad. The midfield, there was just a gaping hole in the midfield. Kroonich, Tonali, not following his man for that second goal. And the lack of depth for Milan as well, we saw with the subs coming on. And they really did miss Rafael Liao.
