Speaker: So beyond Milan, we have to talk about the other team who sits near them at the top of the Serie A table, and that is Sasuolo, a team that nobody would have expected, even though you have all the hipsters on social media that claim to have been watching Sasuolo when they were in the Serie A Chi. But I think one of the talking points that really was under discuss, Carlo, was Sasuolo. They were doing this without Boga, a guy who is unilaterally classified as top quality
Speaker: The following is a clip from this week's Italian football podcast.
Speaker: He's a sensational player. And again, I think people forget that he has not been there this entire time. He returns this weekend and he looks sensational. But that's what I mean. I have to I have to say, I mean, I did predict them at the beginning of the season to to potentially get into Europe. And they play such amazing football. They really do. I mean, I think everybody's calling them the new Atalanta now.
Speaker: and the roberto de zerbe the coach i've said it before he's the he's the next big italian coach the way that he manages his teams that they're so progressive so modern so attacking press high up the pitch and he he really gets the best out of his attacking players you know what he's done with berardi who's somebody who was so highly rated when he broke through as a teenager and then just kind of just stagnated for
Speaker: for three, four years and everybody pretty much just thought he's going to just play the whole of his career playing for a team that's in the mid table or in the bottom half. And now look at Berardi now, he got a goal and an assist against Verona, he played excellent for the Italy national team. So I don't see Sasualo doing a Leicester, I don't see them going on to win the league, but for sure they're going to be a lot of top sides this season.
