Oh wow, what a compliment. um On today's episode, it's not another dub pod, but I feel like it was a good result. We're gonna go over the rain game that they played against Angel City, ah quickly recap results from the league, preview the rain's next match, yuge.

Speaker: What you been up to? a lot. went the game on Sunday. Spent the weekend in Tacoma. I went to the zoo. Defiance? Yeah. Cool. It was hot. They've got a whole like aquarium set up there now.

Speaker: weird. Like two different aquariums. Huh. In there. don't remember the last time i was there. it was Millimentary School maybe. Yeah, it was pretty neat. Huh. We saw the tiger. we saw the handicapped seal.

Speaker: What is happening at the zoo? we saw this really creepy monkey uh-huh that was like swinging around and then like swang right in front of the like viewing area and just like stand stood there and stared it was huh honestly very freaky yeah interesting yeah it's a good weekend it was hot how hot is it out there it was like high eighty s oh gross i am waiting for thursday though because the new episodes of married at first sight are dropping oh my god not this again she's got me hooked on the show.

Speaker: but but It's so fascinating. Okay. Anyway, what about you? What are you up to um Um, I don't know. I've helped a neighbor out with her music video, her, like, band. She's, like, a musician, my neighbor.

Speaker: And she's putting on a new album with, like, one of her older bands that she used to play in. i guess she still plays in them because they're putting a new album. Anyways, we helped record her music video for that. If you don't like discussing things, skip ahead, i don't know, a minute or two. And then my dog, I discovered my dog has, like, a hole in her.

Speaker: i I don't know what that means. Is that a breed? No, there's like, so like I was petting my dog and then like I felt her chest and she's like kind of licking at her chest and I was like, what the hell is going on? And like her hair's all crusty and I was like, what the hell is this? And then i was like looking at it to see what happened. Like maybe she scratched herself and you know, was bleeding or whatever. But like there's like a hole in her chest.

Speaker: Like through the skin just like looking into her like the flesh underneath It was so weird and like you said your dog has a hole in her. Yeah, i thought you said is a holliter. no she has a hole in her. oh god i was like what the fuck and like I don't know what it was from and it doesn't seem like there's a lot of blood like it just seemed like it was fluid like it wasn't bleeding it was very weird It almost seems like some sort of like cyst or something was there and popped. I don't know. It's very creepy. I don't like it.

Speaker: Um, Alys has been cleaning it and that's kind of just what we're just, she's got a donut on her trying to prevent her from licking it. I'll take to the vet if it doesn't look like it's getting better, but doesn't seem be bothering her. It doesn't look infected or anything. So, and she has all of her shots. It's really weird. Anyways, so I've just been like having my memory haunted by what that thing looks like.

Speaker: Because I make keep making Alex look at it to clean it. i like can't, I just like flash the light on it when she's cleaning I just like look away and I just like it makes me queasy. Okay. Anyways, not that that was a really disgusting recap, I should probably put a warning. The rain game, would you, how did you enjoy it?

Speaker: Were you satisfied? Do you feel okay? I feel relatively fine about it yeah I mean, 2-2 draw against a team we're virtually tied with in the standings. Yeah. Tied on points.

Speaker: At home, back on the turf, it seemed to be... They should have won the game. Yeah. But I'll take this result. Yeah. It definitely kind of reminded us of some of those defensive issues. Definitely.

Speaker: But the scoring is coming through. and Another two goals this match. Etsy Witch undefeated. and a better second half so we can talk about it but that's kind of how i felt about it what did you think i had something to show you real quick about speaking of etsy witches ah i feel i feel okay about it what i don't what i didn't obviously i would have rather have a win but you know like i feel like the chicago game could easily be a trap game if this result didn't go the way that it did not that i don't think they would have handled chicago but um

Speaker: Yes. Koopa's showing me a podcast image for the Cooler Guild that she has come up with. No ai No ai And it's incredible.

Speaker: I'm working on them. They'll be out eventually. um But I am working on some stuff for some stickers for people that might be, one of them might be related to ah the Etsy witch stuff. So I just wanted to pull that up for Van because I hadn't showed her yet. Not that one at least. have heard some of the other ones I was working on. um Anyways, this game... don't know. I feel like i what I'm enjoying is that the scoring is continuing.

Speaker: It wasn't a fluke. I was worried that this was just something that we were getting away with for some reason. And... From what I could tell, it's not like Angel City is super leaky in their defense. So it's not like, I don't know, it's not like we're putting up a bunch of goals on some really crappy team. um But yeah, I don't know. I think i think it was a good result.

Speaker: The team looked really good, especially in the second half, so which is something we've struggled with. So it's kind of just we got to piece together all these things, you know? Yeah, I mean, they've scored multiple goals in the last five matches.

Speaker: it's so I don't think some people thought that was going to happen, including maybe ourselves based on what was happening with the team. Yeah, it's been a nice change.

Speaker: And I also did find out, i mean, they brought up on the broad broadcast, but Angel City is undefeated in or unbeaten um in the last three road matches that they've played prior to this one. They got a win in San Diego in Chicago, and then they also got a draw it in Kansas City.

Speaker: it looks like they kind of like looked at all the standings and saw like the recent form of last five games. All the teams at the top are not doing well. No. In recent form. Angel City does seem to be doing okay. So, I mean, I think it was a good, I think it's a good result against a team that's performing pretty decent.

Speaker: So coming into the match, another stat from Angel City is they were 0-5-0 when coming from behind this season. Okay. Or we were, sorry, we were 0-5-0 when coming from behind this season. Angel City hasn't lost when scoring first this season. Okay. So it changed that. Okay.

Speaker: I wrote this in my notes and it was confusing. this is my fault. like I screwed myself on this one. I know what's happening. So there, you know, it was coming from behind. We're not good at. No.

Speaker: But made this one work. We're also not good in the second half usually. So yeah, I think, I think I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm happy. I'm satisfied at least. Yeah. I think in the Rovalx article, they said 15% of our goals now have come in the second half. Nice.

Speaker: That's not very many, but you a lot of them were from the last couple of games. Yeah. i mean to be fair we didn't have a lot of goals well there was the two while yeah there was a two this match and then um fish locks okay okay yeah so adding three to that uh what worked for you in this game i thought claudia diggey had a good game What about the first goal?

Speaker: The first goal was a defensive mistake and the cutback. i You shouldn't get scored on near post, but that close? That close and the player just overtaking Huerta. Uh-huh.

Speaker: I mean, you let a Thompson loose in the box? What's going to happen? Yeah. It's good shot. Yeah, it's I don't blame her for that. OK. And she made a couple of saves in the second half that were really good. There was one in the 90 plus four where Centenor was. joll centor I get her. And I think it's. Yeah.

Speaker: But that there was a shot that came in and it was just down to her side and she grabbed it and held on to it on kind of a breakaway. That's can't ask for anything more from that.

Speaker: A lot of goalkeepers would to let that through. So Angel City was missing their two top scorers this week in this game. Jan Stodder was out in the ankle injury and Neus was an excuse absence. They both have six goals on the season.

Speaker: So that was helpful for us. They had less attacking power. They still managed to get two. And Chalufia, who came into the match late, with the crazy thing there, i was talking with Grant about it, is she had played 70 minutes for Zambia on Wednesday Rabat Rocco.

Speaker: Oh my god! She still hits that fucking shot. Yeah. That's wild. Crazy. So what worked that? I think it was good that we came back from being down.

Speaker: I thought Dickey had a solid match. There's nothing you could really falter for here. Yeah, you can be nitpicky about the first goal, but again. And I think ah you have in here about the connections. I saw your face. I want you to go over this because...

Speaker: but um I mean, I feel like it's been um a few games of seeing these link-up plays with variety of players, but for this match, it was Menti and Fischl trading off goals and assists. McCammon seems to be building up ah into the attack a lot, and I just feel like we're seeing these, ah you know,

Speaker: one two passes between all of these players and finding people like finding their teammates in the right spaces a lot that's something that's a something we didn't see for a very long time it seemed like the chemistry was not there and the fact that they're able to not just get one goal with these connections they're able to get multiple goals with these connections it's not fluky goals it's not just penalties it's it's actual chemistry and i was It was sorely missing for so long.

Speaker: Yeah, no they asked about that in the press conference with Sally, Mindy and me official. And they said that the chemistry in the front lane is growing and it has been every game since the break. It's fun. So this is a great time for the for a team to be in form. Yeah. I don't think this game really showed that we were in form as a whole, but offensively, I think it worked. No, I mean, you could see that they were still, like, passes were getting interrupted.

Speaker: it wasn't perfect. But even when it's not perfect, they're still able to find their teammates. And that to me, is just hard work that they've put in and dedication to each other of making sure that they have, like, a unit together. Because... I don't know. Sometimes you see teams and it's just like one person running everything up themselves. And that is not what I'm seeing on the field. I'm seeing like a collective ah like mindset of like, we're going find a way together. And do you think that's also because we don't have one standout player?

Speaker: Probably. ah but although me official, I have to give her credit. She's been doing better. She needs to keep doing this. But yeah, I think I think that's probably it, which I'm fine with. I like this. Yeah, it's a kind of a coping mechanism for not having a star scoring goal scorer. I think that's great, though. I think that's what this team is built to do. Would I still like someone who's an elite player on their own? Yeah, absolutely. Yeah.

Speaker: But they're making it work and I don't know. It's fun. It's fun to see them working for each other. yeah And it's fun for people watching the games. Yeah. That was ah there was sometimes a few few months ago where ah had a lot of concerns about people going to attend these games.

Speaker: Yeah. They seem to have dug themselves out of that. so just keep it going, please. yeah i' at Momentum, sustain ah sustain it. ah Yeah.

Speaker: They have a chance to do it again on Friday, I think. There seems to be energy in the stadium, and Fischl and Menti talked about it in the presser, because it was both their first time scoring okay in in Lumen. Okay.

Speaker: So they said they enjoyed it, and the fans were great. We just need to get more people to the games. and I wish this next game wasn't on a Friday evening. It's always trickier. but It sure is. And it was tricky for this match too because the Sounders had played earlier in the day. And the Mariners were playing. And the Mariners were playing. Were they though?

Speaker: I didn't look at the score. They haven't been lately. There were a lot of people leaving the Mariners game and I'm like, can you not just go across the street? Super Sports Sunday. I don't get it. i don't know either. But alas, get your friends out there. Yeah. ah It was a tie. So there's obviously things that did not work. I would say there's a lot stuff that was frustrating. ah Top of mind, what's, you know, kind of what didn't work for you?

Speaker: There's one thing I noticed a lot in the first half and somewhat of the second half. Angel City had a really high press and the Reign were not set up to have a high player stationed up to really give them that length.

Speaker: There was a point in the first half where Angel City had a had a corner kick and every single Angel City field player was in or around the box. And I'm saying to myself and the people around me, i'm like, why don't we have somebody high? Yeah. Yeah. just them and the goalkeeper and you're in your own half. Yeah. And what happened? The ball popped out and there was nobody there. Yeah.

Speaker: They did try to kind of do something like that later. ah in the second half, there was a moment where ah Mercado was trying to feed Dahlin up the field and they did have, you know, the advantage they could have been taking, but Mercado did not play the right ball for that. And that happened a lot. Yeah. We talked about long balls so so being so effortless in the last match.

Speaker: And in this game, it was like, oh, oh, just balls to nowhere. You know, sometimes it's those days. sometimes and And the turf is back, so I'm sure that was a factor.

Speaker: It just would have made sense for the team to have a a high target. And you saw that work in the second half when Mercado players were getting coming out Mercado switched up and got into the nine and Dickey was able to play the ball because Dickey can play the ball long and accurately. Yeah. And she was able to get the ball to Mercado several times.

Speaker: And I just don't understand when why you don't make that adjustment. I mean, obviously it didn't go all to hell and they lost the game. Yeah. So take take what I say with a grain of salt here because I'm not a coach, but it just seemed like it would have made sense. Yeah. And then when you have a player like Chalufia do that, makes you say, why can't we have that? you know?

Speaker: i mean, we've been scoring goals like crazy. So like, at what point are we getting too greedy? yeah has fans at least i don't know it'll be too greedy when we win the championship right right i'm i think um in uh gotham has decided that there's nothing like being too greedy yeah i was gonna say i don't think we're not stacked up like that so i wish we had greed in our front office Yeah. The turf was also back. Yeah. It is the old turf.

Speaker: Football lines are still there. And... Weren't they supposed to replace it? I don't know. I'm pretty sure they were and they didn't. But there were several times in the match where I noticed mostly with Phoebe.

Speaker: She was just tripping on herself. Mm-hmm. And with the long balls and everything, I'm wondering what effect that had, the turf had. Yeah. With some of those balls, it just went straight out. Granted, a lot of them were misplaced, but that was a bit concerning.

Speaker: Did you see what happened at the end of the game? The fight? Yeah. I mean, i didn't see all of it. saw parts of it. I kind of saw a lot of people in the Reddit being like, my money's on Harvey.

Speaker: ah so what happened was angel city's coach leaf gunner smirud spread i don't know how to say his last name went into the handshake with laura harvey and grabbed her hand aggressively and did not release it when she was walking past and she turned around and said something to him or just like raised her hands and then scott parkinson just like runs in and gets in the coach's face yeah they Laura was asked about it in the press conference and I saw people being like, oh, I can't wait for the presser.

Speaker: And that's like pretty she was in there just not to get fined. But ah she said, you know, it's not fun when somebody goes to shake your hand and it hurts. ah God, that's, uh, don't you love men?

Speaker: No. Uh, anyway. I'm glad you put this down because that's something else I noticed. I feel like where you put down where to getting fleeced on the first goal. I feel like she didn't have a good game in general. No, she didn't.

Speaker: Yeah. And it was a notable difference when Curry came in. or Yeah, when Curry came in. Granted, she came in for Brown. yeah But I just feel like it might be time to give Curry a little bit more time.

Speaker: I think they just need to rotate those. like that you know sir They've got like a decent amount of players right there that they can keep rotating. So just rotate them. Yeah. The other issue was defending in transition was really sketchy.

Speaker: There were times when it looked like they didn't know who to mark. You saw it on the second goal for Angel City. We had two players, but Huerta was out of position. Bug had to slide over. I mean, all in all, Tlufia's goal was incredible. Yeah, definitely.

Speaker: That kind of finish you just can't replicate. But... There were plenty of times where the ball got turned over and you look and it's like everybody's like mad dashing to try and figure out where they're going. Yeah.

Speaker: Fixable. Fixable, yeah. So it's not like we were outplayed in a way that worries me. Correct. So what did you get out of the pressers?

Speaker: They were good. It's the first time I've been in presser with Mia Fischl. Oh, okay. And Sally Menti. But Mia Fischl talked about her kind of increase in production and attributed that to doing more film.

Speaker: Interesting. Apparently she likes watching film. Great. ah and And that there hasn't been a lot of change in the lineup, so it's helped her find her flow. it. Okay. Which is funny because in Laura's later presser, she talked about how they're going to have to start... rotations because there's so many games in a short amount of time. There's a lot of games this month. So we'll see how that affects what happens with Fischl and her production stats.

Speaker: But they also talked about Lou. Okay. And how important she's become to the team just because she's so fresh out of the league and is also knowledgeable about the game.

Speaker: And it's been a seamless transition for the players. And she apparently gave a speech at halftime. Oh, interesting. And told them they had more to give and hyped them up. Interesting.

Speaker: So see what what's going to happen with that and how, you know, if her interim title gets but deleted. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, it was it was good. Laura talked about they wanted to change the tempo in the second half, which is always what we she's been saying for the last couple of weeks, but it actually worked. Yeah, it did.

Speaker: And she was confused about the last play of the match, which we haven't mentioned. And I too was a bit confused on why the foul was called on Mercado. Because Sam kind of takes her out.

Speaker: But you see that call being made a lot in the Premier League and other leagues. When the ball is coming and one player challenges in the air and the other holds their ground. I think if Mercado goes up for it, she's not going to get called for a foul. But the fact that she just stayed feet planted and Sam's came over the top at her, that's going to be called a foul. Yeah, but the ref blew his whistle, so yeah they couldn't review it which was a bad look for the ref.

Speaker: Well, he also missed a blatant foul. Yeah, on the end line. Curry just got swiped. Yeah. Insane call. No call. Yeah, no call. ah Laura did mention that there's probably going to be a new lineup in the next three games just because there's four games in a 13-day stretch.

Speaker: Well, the good news is she loves rotation. Yeah. ah But on talking about how they have 11 goals in the last five matches, whos said but belief and willingness to play behind an opponent is what's helped them. And she said, well, they didn't do that well tonight.

Speaker: But she also mentioned we don't score crappy goals, which is true. We would score more goals if we scored crappy goals, though. i'll take I'll take any goal. Yeah. What are your overall thoughts?

Speaker: ah I like how the team's playing. I like where things seem to be trending. if i think I have some belief in the team for the first time in a while. ah Mostly because i know what their schedule coming up is.

Speaker: i think if I saw who we were playing like the time that's in the top like three or four teams I might be a little bit more worried because there's definitely still some kinks to work out but I'm enjoying this team and I wasn't sure that I was going to a couple months ago. um So I have no complaints. I'm just writing this and I'm i'm enjoying it. And I think that this was a, I think this was still a good game.

Speaker: Would have been sweet to get a win, but then too many people would have noticed us and I don't want that yet. Yeah, it's... It's been really fun to watch, finally. Finally.

Speaker: And I think that there's some adjustments to be made, but with the upcoming matches, so next three games, we've got Chicago at home, Louisville away, and then KC away. Yeah. So three teams that are struggling. Yeah.

Speaker: Temperatures might be a little tricky in that too. So ah that's something to kind of maybe monitor leading up to it for some of them because Midwest, not a cool place in the summer. Yeah. I think I'm excited, but I also want to see them marry both this offensive production with the defense that we know we have. Yeah, totally. Yeah.

Speaker: I think if they can get those two things working side by side, then we're going to have a team that can win a playoff match. Do you think, we because we we always harp on this, but say we get the signing we want and dream of, 10, a true 10.

Speaker: Do you think that would allow those things to happen? Yes. so a lot of the defensive kind of the start of the defensive mistakes happen with the attacking players and because there's no true 10 you're having to have a false nine situation with menti and that draws defensively right leaves a gap in the midfield because menti and official are not defensive players official has a great work rate and can be a good defending attacker but sally menti does not her defense is her achilles heel and her being out of position a lot on defense and making others compensate for her lack of ability in that sense makes losing the ball in those positions more likely and so i think having a 10 in there that is there and we can have a higher player up

Speaker: and have better distribution to those three front players would solve a lot of issues okay yeah ha maybe maybe someday i have heard no rumbling so nope non to cooler player the match the cooler player the match is brought to you by the doctor's office a great little 12 seat bar on capitol hill the owner is a big big fan of the rain and is proud to be our first sponsor You want to do this one? Sure. ah We had a discussion. Van had a couple names down. And then I threw in for Maddie Mercado. I want to give her pretty match this week. I think she worked her butt off. She was going all out until the very end.

Speaker: I don't understand. Her work rate's insane. it really is. when you brought her up in this discussion i thought you know what that's really the essence of this quote-unquote award yeah just a player that went all out like it's truly until the very end it was remarkable to watch her and she's been scoring goals so it's not like i'm just trying to you know give her her flowers for this game she's been incredible uh and i'm so glad uh she's getting these starts and getting to play these games all the way to the end because she is hungry for goals. She really is. Yeah. And she really, i don't know, she gets in behind and it's just like pretty, pretty, ah pretty dangerous.

Speaker: she's fast and she's strong yeah and it really to see her be put in the nine after all of that and then making these like kind of trying to break away runs yeah in like 90 plus two i'm like what yeah how do you have any gas it's great Also, shout out to her for being um a model in the Pride merch.

Speaker: Hell yeah. Fun Pride merch out now. ah Thanks again to our sponsor, at The Doctor's Office. The Doctor's Office is best place to grab a drink before or after a rematch. Check out their Instagram at tdoseattle, or better yet, go drink there in person. yearsers Cheers. Cheers. You were in Tacoma petting tigers, I heard? ah So I don't know that you caught...

Speaker: I caught any of these matches. But what happened in the NWSL over the weekend? Yeah, I was occupied, so I did not end up watching any of these, except for ours. I caught some of it, but... and Recaps are good to know, where people are kind of landing with their results. Yep, Denver lost to North Carolina,

Speaker: two to zero Goals from Jackson on a penalty and Schlegel in the 81st. That was the Wednesday midweek game. And Orlando lost to Louisville, three to one Jeez. Louisville got goals from McKean and Emma Sears, two goals.

Speaker: That's really bad, Orlando. They're not good right now. Emma Sears. Yep, Orlando got a late goal from Carriabello. Gotham beat San Diego 1-0 on a Shaw goal in the 44th minute.

Speaker: They keep eking out those wins. Big, big result here for North Carolina. of Washington Spirit lost North Carolina 3-4. 4-3. Dang. Yeah. And they had the midweek game too. Mm-hmm. Yeah, North Carolina did. EJ scored another two goals.

Speaker: She's unstoppable. Yeah, she's on fire. She's on fire. Houston tied Kansas City one to one Goal from Raider for Houston in the 81st on a penalty and Dabinia in the 44th minute for Kansas City.

Speaker: Denver beat Utah. Another surprising result. Yeah. Denver's two goals came from Ryan and Sonis in 90 plus 4, so a game winner are there. And Utah's goal came from Tatum-Alazzo in the 89th minute. Oh, fuck. I just saw this news.

Speaker: Oh, you didn't know this? No, i't I haven't been home. So Portland beat Boston 3-4. I can't, I write these out by home team. Portland one four to three. um Portland could not score in the second half and they let, uh. They almost had to come back, Boston. Yeah, Boston almost had to come back. I did see that.

Speaker: But Mulchie, Mulchie was ruled out for this match and it was announced today that she tore her ACL. Was it in training then? Yeah. Holy moly. Was it in Portland, I assume, or was it in Boston? I don't know. Where did they play?

Speaker: and just curious. that's a huge loss for Portland. It's a huge loss for her, yeah. And a huge loss for the U.S. Women's National Team. yeah She hasn't been doing that good for them. But yeah, I can have sentiment for it.

Speaker: because Honestly, i will say this. As somebody who had an ACL tear in the last five years, I do not wish this on anyone. And as much as I talk shit about Olivia Moultrie, this really sucks and I feel bad for her and I hope her recovery goes well. Yeah, I mean, i don't know that she's been as good as she is with Portland for the national team, but she would have gone to the World Cup. Yeah, she's a rising player. Yeah, and that... possibly still go to the World Cup. Maybe. She's young, so maybe that'll help her. But, like, that experience there is so valuable. Mm-hmm.

Speaker: So, yeah, that's... Damn. That's wild and so awful. So we'll see what her recovery looks like. But, yeah, just totally sucks. that game was in boston so i don't know yeah where she tore it but i know there's been some criticism about where the thorns train on their regular days do they have their training facility up yet i don't know that's fully open yet maybe i'm a liar i don't know anyway to round out the weekend chicago tide bay zero zero chicago win chicago win mean at this point i'm not getting scored on so chicago win they

Speaker: ah All right. Well, speaking of Chicago, the Reigns' next match is against Chicago. ah It's going to be Friday, August 14th, 7 p.m. It's going to be at Lumen Field, also in NWC Plus. ah What do you want to see in this game?

Speaker: Please don't get scored on. It's Boston. i mean chicago or sorry chicago just talking about boston i know oh my god speaking of the uh wrong names for things oh my god um you know talking about the announcers and then abuse all um i was listening i was listening to the friday night amazon prime game as i was driving to tacoma and mike watts no no here we go he was he was talking about sorry this is a side note but he was talking about how him and whoever was with him were talking about how some coaches just like don't know what they're doing and they've been around enough to know that they don't know really what they're doing and then he said well you know some announcers don't even know what they're doing you know one of them's in this booth right now hey i'm mike

Speaker: See, he knows. He says a joke. There's always a little truth in a joke, though. There's always a lot of truth in a joke. my god, this fucking man.

Speaker: Yeah, not great. Not great. Anyway, so we're playing Chicago. scott Yeah, we're playing Chicago and... So bad. They're so bad. They've always scored nine goals.

Speaker: They've conceded 33. Yeah. yeah So bad. We cannot lose this. Susie did point out today that according to Flop Mob, six of Chicago's nine goals this season have come from set pieces.

Speaker: So the team better be working on set piece defending. i mean, sure, but they have one goal and five matches. So if the rain can do what they've been doing in terms of s scoring goals, don't get scored on though. If they've only given for nine goals, I need to see a shutout.

Speaker: Yeah, I feel like this is a match where we can have really high expectations. And if they if they don't meet them, what the fuck? Yeah, I'm going to fully be upset. um Chicago is not good. They're they're bad.

Speaker: But we have seen the Reign in the past struggle against bad teams. Almost playing to their tempo and to their terribleness. And i want that i what I want to see is the rain come out and really just dominate and show that they are the better team. Yeah, there's no excuse to not do that.

Speaker: None. Zero. None. And i understand that Harvey might want to switch up the lineup for this match. But maybe do that at halftime or early in the second half. Make those changes. They need to come out and dominate in the first half of this match.

Speaker: Put them to bed. Put them to bed and set the tone. Yeah. Great. um I think that's that's a pretty simple thing we want to see.

Speaker: ah So if you're not busy Friday, buy tickets. Is this the is this the pride match? Yeah. Is this the one where they're also, if you buy a ticket, you get one free for your friend? Probably. That seems pretty gay.

Speaker: Let me double check because I want to make sure people do this or at least know about it if it is happening. I did buy the pride t-shirt. Which one? Gay for the rain. I'm gay for the rain. There's some really good merch. Yeah, so Friday you can... There's going to be drag performances again.

Speaker: Those were super fun last year. ah yeah the the buy one, get one extra is still live, but not for long. So if you haven't bought your ticket yet, you can get bring a friend for free.

Speaker: How fun. And then there's also lots different game. Oh, that's ah's ah there's a package deal where you can get a captain's armband. That's got a pride fog on it as well. In case need more stuff in your house.

Speaker: I don't. personally but ah should be fun hopefully these promos keep helping people go to games and hopefully a big crowd turns out for Friday to go watch the rain win and if they don't win I swear to god swear to god uh any shout outs for the week uh shout out liz for your emails oh great email she sent us another one yesterday or day before but uh yeah iconic email iconic email it made me so happy incredible i know that i'm right thank you

Speaker: do you have any shout outs? Shout out to Van when she replies to that email. what's your What's your neighbor's music? I won't disclose her. i mean, I guess you can figure it out from this, but um her band that she's releasing a new album with is Helen.

Speaker: Great name. Yeah. um Yeah. And then she's going on tour with her other stuff. But yeah, she's a we got to like hear their new song that they put out. It was really it was really a goofy music video. But um were you in it? Yeah. Sick. They did need some extras. So like she like sent out a little chat to some of our neighbors and friends in town. and We went to a friend's house who filmed it there.

Speaker: And then my buddy was filming it who does like video stuff. And then they like pretend to play instruments and then they like switched instruments even though they didn't know how to play the other instruments and pretended to play those instruments. And then they like put the children in like to play the instruments while I was were going through the song over and over again. ah Yeah. I don't know when it's coming out.

Speaker: Colin will get on it at some point. But yeah, I live in a town with a lot of a lot. There's a lot of musicians here that are like successful musicians. It's it's very weird because they're just like my neighbors and friends.

Speaker: That's what happens even in a small town, I guess. Yeah. uh yeah uh do you have any actual shout outs um i don't think so uh she keeps looking around like there's something in her house she wants to shout out the ghost we were talking about doing a seance in my neighborhood

Speaker: So shout out to whatever. We're going to have to find somebody who does seances in town. I'm sure there is someone. Yeah, but there's there's been rumblings about the ghosts on our block. So um I'll keep people updated on that since we're so into witches these days. Perfect. ah Yeah, shout out. if Oh, you know what? have a shout out, but if anyone has any sticker printing things they want to send me that I could do from what they use that's not the bad ones, let me know.

Yeah, I'm gonna send the the the witches to the front office soon. ah Till next time, I guess, right? Yeah. so next sense If there is a next time. I'm Coop. I'm Fian. Stay cool, y'all. Stay cool.

Speaker: Yeah, it just maximized. Ah, what is happening? I just maximized it. Now your face is huge. I'm trying to stop it Ah, this is not.
