Speaker: Welcome again to another episode of Dream Slip.
Speaker: My name is Robert and a special guest today is Nicholas.
Speaker: Hi Nick.
Speaker: Wow, two times in two days.
Speaker: I feel very special.
Speaker: Three?
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Well, no, it's Tuesday.
Speaker: It's only two days, right?
Speaker: Yes, two days.
Speaker: I would like it to be three days.
Speaker: I don't mind when days go quicker, but yes.
Speaker: Seems like Friday to me.
Speaker: Well, if it was Friday, I'd be driving down to Sydney to come and say hello.
Speaker: Oh, is it this Friday you're coming?
Speaker: I'm leaving this Friday, yes, to come down.
Speaker: And then, yeah, I'll see you.
Speaker: Well, even before then, but definitely Wednesday.
Speaker: Okay, that's good.
Speaker: Yeah, excellent.
Speaker: Excellent.
Speaker: So we've got the new version out.
Speaker: Woo-hoo.
Speaker: I was just saying, what a mammoth day.
Speaker: We got all those cool updates to tell the community, which I'm sure they got excited for, which is good.
Speaker: Excellent.
Speaker: So iOS have now said yes, and it's up.
Speaker: So that's excellent.
Speaker: So they're obviously happy with the update you did.
Speaker: Yep, so all that is there.
Speaker: I'm just opening it up to see how many votes we've had.
Speaker: I noticed the Apple one had test votes.
Speaker: They're no longer there.
Speaker: So let's now into the fake votes.
Speaker: iOS or Android?
Speaker: iOS.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So, IronSource has sort of stopped it for some reason.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So, IronSource for our listeners.
Speaker: IronSource is our mediator for our ads, if that means anything.
Speaker: What do we got?
Speaker: We've got 154 votes.
Speaker: DJ Miles is winning.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: By a long shot.
Speaker: Then...
Speaker: Bonafi?
Speaker: Oh, yeah.
Speaker: It's 22.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Oh, good.
Speaker: I anticipate that that would change throughout the event.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I want to ask about when the event managers create these events.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: I think one of the key things is moderation.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: Right?
Speaker: This event was a talent competition but didn't have moderation.
Speaker: Was there a reason for that?
Speaker: Didn't have moderation.
Speaker: What did you mean by the people that we put up?
Speaker: Well, you have age toxicity in there just, you know, with a clip of half of a FIFA game or something like that.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So yeah, that one slipped through.
Speaker: That's, uh, that's my fault.
Speaker: So, okay.
Speaker: So we have to talk about that kind of stuff because let's just say that was an innocent slip through.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: You know, one of the things with this app that we can get banned for life is if there's any nudity on there.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: Uh, or anything that has underage, um, issues.
Speaker: Um,
Speaker: and you're the CEO of this company and you let something through.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: How are you going to expect all the other event managers to let that through?
Speaker: I'm not expecting it.
Speaker: I don't want them to.
Speaker: I'm expecting not to do that.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So it's not...
Speaker: Don't do as I do, just do as I say.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Mediate.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Good point.
Speaker: So from a security point of view, that's very damaging for your brand.
Speaker: So we got to have a fail safe there.
Speaker: So one of the things, like Barbara said that incident just freaked her out when she saw that.
Speaker: To her, it looked like a kid's bed.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: And that's immediate banning, uh, like crazy.
Speaker: Um, so no children can be on here.
Speaker: Nobody under the age of, uh, 13.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: Of any video of kids.
Speaker: Um, unless we tell Apple there's a reason for it or Google.
Speaker: Um, uh, and so what she wanted to know is, can we do a reporting?
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So let's say the moderator doesn't let it slip through because whatever, that you can click on and say, I want to report this video.
Speaker: And then the community can take that video off.
Speaker: So it can be automatically removed from view if there's, let's say, more than
Speaker: five reports or something like that from five different people.
Speaker: And is there a mediation from the reports?
Speaker: So we go back and have a look at it ourselves and make a decision.
Speaker: Yeah, that escalates to the mediation team, not mediation, the sensor team.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Okay, so whoever that is at the time.
Speaker: To start off with, it's just going to be you and I, but it could be somebody else.
Speaker: Or the moderator team, because we're going to have the moderators.
Speaker: And so they're going to have a...
Speaker: on the app, if you're a moderator, you're going to have an app to say, Hey, these are things that have been, uh, classed as, um, inappropriate, you know, is it, or is it, you know, cause we don't want witch hunt things.
Speaker: No.
Speaker: Because the problem with that is, uh, let's say DJ miles, you know, you've got 10 performers, all nine other performers are going to, uh, we're going to say, we don't want this one on here.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So that's something we have to be really weary of in competitions.
Speaker: I think what it is, it should be just one strike you're out as a moderator or as an event manager.
Speaker: One strike you're out.
Speaker: You can't do another event if you have anything that's classed as a problem.
Speaker: And we just shut down the event straight away.
Speaker: Maybe that's what we'll do.
Speaker: Is there also a way that when...
Speaker: When, um, even though the event manager is in charge of the mediation, for instance, at the start.
Speaker: Moderation.
Speaker: Moderation.
Speaker: Sorry, moderation.
Speaker: Um, is there a way that we could have, you know, three or four people like myself, you, Alexandra, whoever, um, that has access to see them, um, as that level, uh, who can also reject and accept?
Speaker: Can you hold on for a second?
Speaker: Can you say that again?
Speaker: Sorry.
Speaker: So what I was saying is instead of waiting until there's a problem and then checking it, is there a way that we can check it before it goes live as well as the events manager?
Speaker: No, we can't because that's why the events manager's job is to check.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: We can have moderators check.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So moderators can check all videos that's still in audition.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: But then we don't have a moderation team yet.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So I can, I can set that up and say anybody that's a moderator.
Speaker: Or an administrator.
Speaker: Administrator and moderators can look.
Speaker: Event managers can't see other events.
Speaker: But an event manager and moderator can see everybody's event.
Speaker: So they're in charge of moderating their own events as events managers, but we sit above that and just double check everything.
Speaker: And moderators can flag for deletion.
Speaker: But they can't delete.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Administrators can.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: So what we'll do is I'll have a moderation sort of system.
Speaker: I think that would make sense.
Speaker: So it'd be another, we've got three things on the bottom.
Speaker: So moderators will get a third one, which is a moderation, which will show all videos, irrespective of event.
Speaker: They won't know what event it is.
Speaker: And they can just watch, watch, watch, and they just say flag, flag, flag, flag.
Speaker: And then we can see how many are flagged as administrators.
Speaker: And then we just say, OK, I'll reject.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: The event manager can see a flagged video as well.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: So they'll say, oh, this has been flagged by a moderator and they can reject it or just leave it.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Yeah, that's a good idea.
Speaker: So that's a fairly safe thing.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I think before it goes out is better than after.
Speaker: I mean, we should have after anyway in case it slips through.
Speaker: Yeah, but that's happening.
Speaker: That's a before thing.
Speaker: So that's what during the audition time.
Speaker: and then when they flag for um flag i'll we'll just come up with a um um a choice to say flag because of indecent or underage or um inappropriate or language or something you know something like that i'll make it yep so we can see and um um and
Speaker: then I'll keep a track of.
Speaker: So if a certain performer is always auditioning, you know, just some troll is, you know, throwing up anything inappropriate up there, we'll just have to ban that user.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: But that's what performers, like at the moment, performers are not vetted.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: They're just like anybody can audition.
Speaker: So we need to have a vetting process.
Speaker: Remember, we have that ladder.
Speaker: So you become a member.
Speaker: If you're a member for more than two weeks, then you can apply to be a performer.
Speaker: So we have some kind of application process, which means, you know, like their wallet, money,
Speaker: proof of identity, make sure they are over this certain age.
Speaker: So we've got to have all of that sort of system in.
Speaker: And then just like any other performer that can accept money.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: And in any industry, right?
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: And once we have that, then...
Speaker: That's a lot of loops, so less likely to get a troll on there.
Speaker: Yeah, and maybe even we put some sort of disclaimer or something to say that you are over the age of 13, etc.
Speaker: No, no, no, they have to prove it.
Speaker: Yeah, somehow.
Speaker: No, no, it's not a disclaimer.
Speaker: It's against the law for us as a provider to say, oh, we asked them if they were over 18.
Speaker: You're the one that goes to jail for anything that's inappropriate.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So how do we test if someone's over 13?
Speaker: They have to prove with the identity check.
Speaker: So an identity check is a passport or driver's license, photograph, and a selfie of themselves.
Speaker: We can use a third-party identity checker.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: We can use Stripe has one, but it costs $2 per identity.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: There are the cheaper ones.
Speaker: We can go to a third-party identity checker, and it'll just tell us, yes, this is the person's name, and this is their age, date of birth.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So we're only at MVP stuff, but I'm thinking that we'll have to do that soon.
Speaker: Yep, definitely.
Speaker: I already saw there's a problem.
Speaker: Monetization.
Speaker: We have to be careful because we're quoting this at three cents a vote, I think is what we're looking at, or two cents a vote.
Speaker: I think we took it down further to like one cent maybe.
Speaker: Okay, one cent for vote.
Speaker: Okay, so we're down to $1.55 of votes.
Speaker: It's not too bad.
Speaker: Not too bad.
Speaker: With, I don't know how many users, you know, there's not many.
Speaker: 1,000 users so far.
Speaker: Per minute.
Speaker: All right.
Speaker: So, yeah, so that's fine.
Speaker: So we won't know until IonSource has come back.
Speaker: I wrote to IonSource again this morning, as you saw, to ask, you know, like, we've done everything.
Speaker: Can we please get ads in?
Speaker: Profile pictures have to be vetted as well.
Speaker: Yep.
Speaker: So a moderator will, I can have a system and say when there's a profile picture up.
Speaker: So just like on Twitter, it takes nearly three days before you're, like, if, when you change your profile picture,
Speaker: if you're blue ticked verified your verification comes off until they vet your profile picture and then it comes back on and that can take four days because I took my picture off whatever it's called an X I took my picture off and put my one that I have on Discord you know the cartoon one and it took ten days before they said it was okay
Speaker: Yeah, wow.
Speaker: So for 10 days, I couldn't use X properly.
Speaker: Yeah, wow.
Speaker: Yeah, but it's important, like you said.
Speaker: The other thing is part of the moderation.
Speaker: We should be thinking about moderation now, I think.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Because we're not going to change the features now because we're still doing data testing, right?
Speaker: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker: So let's look about security.
Speaker: So carefully is money laundering is a problem.
Speaker: And I think we've got that undercover, under control.
Speaker: Undercover.
Speaker: FBR.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: We have, there's one thing, Brian is a contestant, but it's definitely not Brian that's singing, I don't think.
Speaker: No, it's not.
Speaker: It's not Brian that's singing.
Speaker: So that's a problem.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Because somebody, as a performer, can put all their ID checking in there, you know, and then somebody else goes in there and starts performing.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Okay, so it's up to the moderator to, I say, is this the person?
Speaker: So that one with Brian, we would actually have disqualified that person.
Speaker: Yeah, rejected, yep.
Speaker: That is good because, yeah, it's got a guy with a beard and that person is not singing.
Speaker: He's in the background, but they're not singing.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: And that's the other thing in policy.
Speaker: Artificial singing and stuff like that, do we care?
Speaker: Is it entertainment?
Speaker: I think it depends on what the challenge is.
Speaker: I mean, for instance, lip sync could be a competition, you know?
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: You could say, do your best lip sync or your air guitar or something.
Speaker: You're not playing an instrument.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So when it's open.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So I think we should change that name from other to open.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: If it's open, we don't have any qualifications.
Speaker: So with other ones, you might qualify it.
Speaker: So it has to be real voice, no filters, no...
Speaker: Auto-tune, no, whatever.
Speaker: Whatever you want is restrictions.
Speaker: And it's up to the moderators to say, no, this is obviously whatever.
Speaker: Well, later on, we're talking about the UI, UX and everything for the users.
Speaker: Maybe in that description thing, we can have fields to fill in and then it just comes up as a description.
Speaker: Are there any restrictions?
Speaker: You tick a box, this restriction, this restriction, and sort of guide them through it.
Speaker: Obviously, it needs to be drawn up and it's a thing and it's a form, whatever, but maybe that will help prompt people to sort of set the criteria.
Speaker: Yeah, I might start putting a conversational UX on here.
Speaker: Because otherwise, to create forms and stuff start becoming complicated.
Speaker: So I might just have a chatbot for event managers, where they just fill in the information.
Speaker: And then it says, is this what you want?
Speaker: You say yes.
Speaker: And then it just creates the event and everything.
Speaker: OK, cool.
Speaker: And then it will do the translations and all that sort of stuff.
Speaker: in real time.
Speaker: Yeah, wow.
Speaker: Yeah, I think as much AI as I can get into this will save us heaps of time.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Okay, so... But the moderation thing is very important.
Speaker: So I guess you need to open up the ability... Not you need to.
Speaker: The idea would be to open up
Speaker: the, um, for moderator and admin to have access to seeing all the videos and then, um, and then, and then a moderator books, like, like you said, flag, flag, flag, or whatever.
Speaker: Then we can say why we flagged it.
Speaker: This is not Brian.
Speaker: This is my, you know, whatever it is.
Speaker: This is a description.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: To set off with a description, then we can just the basic description.
Speaker: This is flagged because
Speaker: Okay, so that's the next feature?
Speaker: Yeah, I think so.
Speaker: It's super important.
Speaker: Based on what you just said, it's very super important.
Speaker: It's hard because auditions can be 12 hours.
Speaker: Like if a moderator doesn't see it within that time, it goes out.
Speaker: Then we just make it audition is for 24 hours set.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Because it gives someone in some time frame, like time zone, the ability to see it.
Speaker: When an event is created, it'll send an email to all moderators.
Speaker: Say, hey, this event has been created.
Speaker: Watch out.
Speaker: And later on, later on, way later on when it's not MVP anymore and we've got a system, we can do a notification thing.
Speaker: It pops up.
Speaker: It's something for you to moderate.
Speaker: Well, that's what an email is.
Speaker: I understand.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Correct.
Speaker: Do you want it to be a notification on the app?
Speaker: No.
Speaker: Whatever you feel is the best design.
Speaker: Notifications get turned off, you see.
Speaker: Yeah, that's true.
Speaker: I'm just thinking emails can get lost too.
Speaker: Well, no, emails don't get lost because they're tracked.
Speaker: People may not read their emails, but neither does they read the notifications.
Speaker: Notifications disappear when you open up your phone and the notifications are gone.
Speaker: There's no history of it.
Speaker: At least there's a history.
Speaker: At least with emails, I can say, oh, this person's read the email.
Speaker: Yeah, okay, yeah, we can track that.
Speaker: That's true.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I'll do a notification start off with.
Speaker: Right.
Speaker: But I'll have to do that under settings to say, as a moderator, notify.
Speaker: Like when you follow somebody, you probably want a notification to say, oh, this person's just has just performed.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Is performing.
Speaker: What was that?
Speaker: I just hit my light.
Speaker: Sound like glass smashing.
Speaker: Okay, so like a performer is performing rather than a performer is auditioning because you don't know until the event is live that that performer is there.
Speaker: So this event has gone live and it has this performer is in it.
Speaker: So come and support your... We don't have that following.
Speaker: I turned that off.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So when you take on- Because it's vice versa too.
Speaker: You could also have, for the performer, you've performed in this person's performance once before.
Speaker: They've put up another event.
Speaker: Do you like to perform?
Speaker: You know, things like that.
Speaker: No, no, no.
Speaker: That is such an age thing.
Speaker: It doesn't help the app at all.
Speaker: I think the one where the following somebody is important.
Speaker: Right?
Speaker: And, uh, and performers follow the events anyway.
Speaker: So, um, it's up to them.
Speaker: Why is people ringing me?
Speaker: Um, I guess, I guess to bring in that following, you need to be able to press the profile dot at the bottom of the video.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: And I've got to somehow change the UI so you can see that you actually are following that person.
Speaker: So I might have a little, little love heart.
Speaker: In the corner or something.
Speaker: Good idea.
Speaker: This is the person you're following.
Speaker: Is there a love heart or right thing?
Speaker: Or maybe around the profile there's a different ring color or something, or a shine.
Speaker: A little star?
Speaker: Because favorite is a star.
Speaker: Yeah, a star.
Speaker: So a star around the profile.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Or even just a little star in the corner of the profile.
Speaker: Star in the corner, okay.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Okay, so let me write this.
Speaker: So what I'll do is I'll do the moderation first.
Speaker: Oh, you're writing this down?
Speaker: I can write this down.
Speaker: Oh, we're recording this.
Speaker: That's why we're doing this anyway.
Speaker: I can watch this again.
Speaker: Yeah, okay.
Speaker: Viewers at home, can you please write this down for us?
Speaker: So we'll do the favorites.
Speaker: We'll do the moderation first.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So that's a whole new section.
Speaker: So I'll try to get that in.
Speaker: I can do today, I can have the following in.
Speaker: So you go to your profile and you can see who you're following.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: But it doesn't do anything.
Speaker: It just shows.
Speaker: And I can have a little switch against each one to say notify when they're performing again.
Speaker: And then I've got to put performance things.
Speaker: So that's quite complex.
Speaker: Sounds very complex.
Speaker: Two or three levels of stuff.
Speaker: So I might just keep it the moderation bit.
Speaker: I'll keep the moderation.
Speaker: So that will take me a couple of days to do.
Speaker: So moderation is you're a moderator.
Speaker: You get to see all the videos.
Speaker: When you click, you can...
Speaker: which won't be listed by events or just be just videos.
Speaker: You won't be biased by whatever the event is.
Speaker: Because you're not moderating to say, this person is not doing the right thing based on the rules of the event.
Speaker: No, that's the event's manager's job.
Speaker: Okay, that's fine.
Speaker: The only thing I think we should maybe have in there if we're going to do that bit is
Speaker: if nobody has moderated the video and there's like an hour left to moderate it, that it's maybe automatically flagged.
Speaker: I don't know.
Speaker: Because if no one's moderated it at all, even though we have several people doing it and no one's looked,
Speaker: Do we need a failsafe?
Speaker: You want a failsafe.
Speaker: So that means I have to have a flag to say it's being passed by this moderator.
Speaker: So it's fail, pass, fail, pass, fail, pass, fails.
Speaker: And if it doesn't have anything, then it's an automatic fail.
Speaker: But the moderator doesn't reject.
Speaker: The event managers reject.
Speaker: So all the moderator is doing is flagging it.
Speaker: So there's no point in having that fail safe.
Speaker: Or do we say that the event managers, the last point of call, right?
Speaker: And if the video hasn't been given some sort of pass, fail, moderate, anything, then the event
Speaker: goes on hold for 24 hours and then goes up the next 24 hours until all the videos are done.
Speaker: Like it's a checker box in order for the event to go live.
Speaker: This two, three things have to be done.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So it won't go live unless all videos are being checked.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So at the moment I haven't done an event for ages.
Speaker: Is there an accept and reject or is it just only reject?
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: It says approve or reject is the two buttons.
Speaker: And the blue button.
Speaker: Oh, yeah.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So if one of the videos hasn't gotten approved or reject, then the video is in stale.
Speaker: It's in stalemate.
Speaker: And until, I don't know if stale is the right word, but it's in purgatory.
Speaker: But the longer the person doesn't do anything with it, it's eating up the weak.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: I'm not extending a week, right?
Speaker: I'm just saying they're losing every day that they don't check.
Speaker: They're not getting any revenue.
Speaker: Yes.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: And it's up to the... But the performer has no recourse.
Speaker: They can't sort of say, hey, why aren't we going live?
Speaker: So we have to have a, well, that's why we'll have a communication system in there to say, you know, question, look, I'm in this event, why is it not live?
Speaker: Or I can notify the performer and say, you know, your event has been put on hold because the event manager hasn't checked all the videos yet.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I can do things like that.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: And maybe will the performer need to know that they've been rejected or approved?
Speaker: Congratulations, you've been approved.
Speaker: I think that would happen, yeah.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: In the first instance, it'll be an email, then later on it can be a notification.
Speaker: Yeah, cool.
Speaker: Yeah, that's fine.
Speaker: Wow, that's nice, Papa.
Speaker: That's good.
Speaker: That's really important, that feedback.
Speaker: Good.
Speaker: Appreciate that.
Speaker: Cause yeah, like those two videos, I think the reason why they passed is because of the people that were on it, you know, like, you know, it wasn't in the right brain space for me.
Speaker: So that's good feedback.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Um, yeah, Barbara is not really interested in downloading it or using it.
Speaker: So I've got to figure out why.
Speaker: Um, Hmm.
Speaker: She's on reels all the time.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: So it's not the short form video that's a problem.
Speaker: It's not interesting hearing people singing.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Well, there's so many different types of events we can do.
Speaker: We're just sort of sticking to that one at the moment.
Speaker: But, you know, like I said, there can be anything, jokes, things like most of the things, not most, but some of the things that are on Reels can also be done on this as well, but in a competition manner, you know.
Speaker: I think it'll evolve as the community evolves, you know, because there's not too many viewers and maybe downloading it to watch four videos or five videos at a time.
Speaker: over and over again rather than 4,000 videos.
Speaker: Well, I think the quality will increase.
Speaker: It's just like YouTube.
Speaker: The very first YouTube videos were really.
Speaker: Yeah, definitely.
Speaker: The first TikToks were really.
Speaker: And then people then are spending a lot of effort to get the views.
Speaker: Well, that's the other thing is I don't actually show views anywhere.
Speaker: So I should actually have a view counter somewhere.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Are you interested in knowing views versus votes?
Speaker: Yeah, I think they'd definitely like to see views.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: Votes, views, follows, you know, the things people are very used to or shares, but we don't do shares obviously, but shares as well.
Speaker: Where would you share it to?
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Then you can do share a link to the app.
Speaker: That's it.
Speaker: share to your friends, but then it becomes a social thing.
Speaker: Yeah, no, it can be a social thing.
Speaker: So we can have your followers and your friends and, or share to your followers.
Speaker: You can do that.
Speaker: So if people are following you, you say, you can write a message to all your followers.
Speaker: you know, yeah, then you can become a performer that's a bit of an influencer as well.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: That's, you know, that's a little bit down the track, but that's not an MVP thing, but we can add that stuff.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Moderation first.
Speaker: That's unique to this application.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Like other places don't have moderation.
Speaker: So what do they do?
Speaker: It's just like an AI and a team of people just watching random videos all the time.
Speaker: Geez, that'd be a big job.
Speaker: It's not community-based.
Speaker: It's very corporate-based.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: We want to make it community-based.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Community sort of control the standards.
Speaker: And I guess based on the community engagement and everything, you know, we could set a limit to what
Speaker: functions they've done within the community, how many times they voted and how active they are in the system, et cetera, to say, would you like to now be a moderator?
Speaker: You've earned the ability.
Speaker: We would like to invite you.
Speaker: It's a very prestigious job.
Speaker: Yeah, we can have, on the profile, we can have, actually have a little bar to say, you know, the activity, if you keep on doing these activities, you'll be rewarded, you'll be promoted to this.
Speaker: That'll be exciting.
Speaker: So they can see that as well.
Speaker: And it suits the ascent name.
Speaker: You know, you're ascending into these sort of levels.
Speaker: So make the bar go up then instead of sideways.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: I'm ascending forward and backwards.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: But yeah, it sort of meets that name.
Speaker: It suits the name.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: So we get some gamification in there for members.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah, because a performer can be a moderator, which could let them see what the other performers are doing.
Speaker: But we only allow one performance.
Speaker: We don't allow them to redo a performance in a bit.
Speaker: No, that's right.
Speaker: Which is fine.
Speaker: So once they're in, they can't get out.
Speaker: And I mean, once we have several hundred moderators, for instance, I mean, we could always put into the AI or whatever does that filtering.
Speaker: Maybe that event, they don't need to moderate that event.
Speaker: It just doesn't send them any videos from the event they're in.
Speaker: We might be knowledgeable enough to do that.
Speaker: Oh, no, it doesn't need AI for that.
Speaker: We know that they're in there.
Speaker: But they'll end up joining the event afterwards.
Speaker: That's what we don't know.
Speaker: Ah, okay.
Speaker: So they can moderate it and say, oh, this is going to be easy.
Speaker: I'm going to join this event.
Speaker: Yeah, but we don't tell them what event it's from.
Speaker: We just show them the video.
Speaker: Oh, yeah, that's true.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Which is probably why you said that in the first place.
Speaker: Yeah, that's true.
Speaker: Oh, good.
Speaker: But if there's only one event going.
Speaker: Right now, I'm pretty sure they'd know which event it is.
Speaker: I wonder where this event is.
Speaker: I've got to join it.
Speaker: It's so easy.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Okay, so this is a very technical and very sort of constructive type.
Speaker: Yeah, I think it's positive there.
Speaker: It's good.
Speaker: Okay, so I'll publish this somewhere, probably on Discord.
Speaker: Yeah, this one was important.
Speaker: So I'm going to have to publish it on Discord for us so we can take notes on what needs to be done and then we can create the roadmap.
Speaker: Yeah.
Speaker: Just a little bit of roadmap here.
Speaker: share that with the event managers see any feedback from that okay we have another thing so we're going to finish this podcast it's been very interesting talking to you Nick thank you I enjoyed this podcast very much I really think you're a dream slip with Askent it's Akasent Akasent
Speaker: I think it's going to go places.
Speaker: Yeah, I think it is.
Speaker: No worries.
Speaker: So I'm going to do an intro.
Speaker: Okay.
Speaker: And this was another episode of Dream Slip, episode 2.
Speaker: 16.
Speaker: 81.
Speaker: 71.
