Thanksgiving and Team Gratitude

00:00:10
Speaker
All right, and welcome back to the HFW Shop Talk podcast. This is Jack Watson, and this is also episode 14 in our Thanksgiving edition. So for this special Thanksgiving version of the Shop Talk podcast,
00:00:29
Speaker
I wanted to take some time to express how thankful I am to be a part of our team at HFW and to get to work with each and every one of you every day. We really do have such a fantastic group of people and I think HFW is really what
00:00:48
Speaker
America's all about these little moments of ingenuity each and every day whether it's in the engineering office or in the shop or everywhere in between.
00:01:02
Speaker
To get to work with such a hard working group of people that turns out high quality equipment is something I'm very proud of and grateful for. I know I've probably said this to many of you, but one thing that our sales team always hears over and over again when talking to our customers and when visiting with our customers
00:01:25
Speaker
is how great HFW is to work with and how high quality our work is. And that's a testament to every single person. And I just want to take a moment to say thank you. So I don't want to get too sappy, but I do think it's important to express my thanks. And with that being said, I want to take a moment to appreciate each person in our business.

Welcoming New Team Members and Celebrating Milestones

00:01:53
Speaker
So I'm going to start with Ronnie, who is our newest employee. Ronnie, thanks for joining the team. Hope everything's going well so far, and I appreciate your work to this point. A little bit over a month and a half you've been with us, and I appreciate you feeling an important role in shipping.
00:02:13
Speaker
Next up, I want to talk about Rich Hender, who has been with us for almost 10 years now. Rich, you're a great person to talk to. I always enjoy our conversations and your experience and your hardworking attitude and your ability to work through problems is very much appreciated. So I'm very grateful for it. Thank you.
00:02:36
Speaker
Next up, Carlos. Carlos, I appreciate your hard work. I know you're back in the, in the spray booth all day, pounding out turbine shafts. And I appreciate that. I know that's a, it can be a hard job, a hot job. And, um, I appreciate you and the good work and you've come such, such a long way and, um, everyone's very grateful for your work. So thank you for that.
00:02:59
Speaker
Next up, Andrew Masters. Andrew, thanks for your hard work. I've been with us almost a year now, which is, um, seems like yesterday at times really flown, but, um, you know, all the guys rave about how far you've come and in the work here, you're already able to do with, um, with the experience you've gained. And, um, we're very appreciative to you, obviously, uh, filling an important role next to Mark there. And I just want to say thank you. Appreciate everything you do.
00:03:28
Speaker
Next up, Mark Zach. Mark, I know you feel an important role too, coming in and having the mastery on all these roles that seem to run right through your machine, like clockwork. So thanks for your hard work. You've been with us for quite a while and we appreciate it. So thank you.
00:03:51
Speaker
Next up, another Mark, Mr. Mark Sherman. Mark, thanks for being a great representative of HFW. I don't think I've ever met one of our customers that hasn't loved working with you. And that's a testament to all the work and effort you put into our relationships. So thank you for that. Here's to several more good years.
00:04:18
Speaker
Next up, we have Sean. Sean, thanks for all your hard work and kind of, uh, you know, the utility player back in the spray and weld shop. Uh, thanks for, thanks for being a great guy and, um, really being able to do what's needed, whether it's welding or spraying or even coaching some of the younger guys, appreciate all your hard work. Uh, and thank you for your service as well to our country. You're a good man. And we appreciate having you at HFW. Thanks.
00:04:47
Speaker
Next up, Peter Sanisiero. Peter, really enjoy having you on. Um, you're another guy like Andrew, uh, who the guys are raved about how far you've come and pretty short amount of time. And, um, we're grateful to have you back. Thanks for coming back. Um, I really enjoyed our podcast earlier, earlier this year. Uh, so if anyone wants to go listen to that, go check that one out. Um, but Peter, thanks for all your hard work. Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving.
00:05:17
Speaker
Next up, Devon. Devon, thanks for helping everyone at HFW look good. Um, really kind of helped take us, uh, into the digital world, um, and really expanded our presence online, which, uh, of course is very important. So, um, that's a big job and I know it can be a little bit intimidating coming around out of school and working in a, in a machine shop, but I appreciate all the hard work you've done and, um, you've made HFW look good. So thank you.
00:05:48
Speaker
Tate, next up, I want to thank you. You are really fast and quickly becoming one of our great grinders, working alongside some of the other great guys we have in the small shop there. Zilgo, I wanted to thank you. You're obviously just such an important player in what we do at HFW, running especially our older equipment, just that old school utility player who's just an incredible asset to our team at HFW. And we're very appreciative for the work you do.
00:07:01
Speaker
I think a lot about our guys like you who can just build anything and do anything. And that's why we're bringing some of these young guys on to hopefully learn from the guys like you and Fred and others who have this tremendous amount of knowledge. So thanks for all your hard work. We're happy to have you on the team.
00:07:25

00:11:23

And we're lucky to have you on the team. Thank you.
