On a crisp Friday morning, on October 6, 1989, the dedicated Assistant Cashier made a startling discovery that would send shockwaves through the small town of Noel, Missouri. The town known for its Christmas displays and canoeing on the scenic Elk Rover but not for its crime. This small town of around 1500 or so people was quiet and quaint. But on this day, that image would be shattered.
