Pragya Bhagat is an award-winning essayist and spoken word poet. Her work has been featured in BBC, The Wire, Muse India, the Huffington Post, Helter Skelter, and many more publications. She is the author of two memoirs: Yarn and Swimming In Our Oceans. Before all this, Pragya was a Biology major at the University of Texas, Austin and she went on to do a Master’s in Dalit and Tribal Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
