Thank you for being here with us, Jonas. So to start off, can you tell us more about your business?

The Essence of Storytelling in Jonas's Work

00:01:35
Jhonas Campos
Sure. So, yeah, my business, it's about communications. It's about marketing, but mostly it's about storytelling. So I've been working with marketing and communication since I was like 18 years old, since I finished high school.
00:01:49
Ingrid
Thank you.
00:01:49
Jhonas Campos
And marketing and communications for me, it's a way for you to tell stories because you can use so many different, you know, types and screens and formats and companies and people to tell stories.
00:02:07
Jhonas Campos
So it's a really important. That's why I'm starting my new business.
00:02:09

00:02:11
Jhonas Campos
It's a new business that I'm starting. So it's a way for me to tell stories of brands, of people and using image and visual, which I like very much.
00:02:22
Jhonas Campos
Like when you're able to tell stories through the visual media, it's really important. And today, brands and companies are really, you know, investing and looking more and more to tell stories using visual media, which is really important.

00:02:43
Ingrid
I love that. And when I actually did my business degree in Brazil, I was really focused on marketing.
00:02:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:02:49
Ingrid
And I used to have, I moved now to technology, but I used to love marketing just as much. And I'm curious to hear from you, like what initially drew you to this field? Was it the storytelling? And how has the like this passion evolved over two years
00:03:05
Jhonas Campos
I love the movie industry. And in fact, I graduated as a filmmaker.
00:03:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:03:11
Jhonas Campos
Although I never worked as a filmmaker, I graduated as a filmmaker when I was 22 in Brazil. And I always loved the way how people tell stories.
00:03:22
Jhonas Campos
So I really love to watch stories, to listen to people telling their stories. And I think marketing and communication, it's a way, like it's a gate for companies and people also to tell their stories, no matter if it's like either for brands, either for their own ah business, for their own purposes.
00:03:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:03:29
Ingrid
evolved over the years?
00:03:42
Jhonas Campos
So, you know, the way that we can share our life or experiences or stories uh it's it's a really nice thing you know for for everything like i can learn for you you can learn for me like if with this podcast for example it's about stories it's about telling stories which is really important you know
00:03:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:03:49
Ingrid
you
00:04:05
Find A Way Podcast
Yes, I agree 100%. And storytelling has the power of just assimilating content in a way, at least for me, it's much easier to assimilate content to absorb, retain that content is through storytelling.
00:04:09
Ingrid
you
00:04:19
Find A Way Podcast
um So I am curious to, you know, rewind a bit ah to your journey.

The Entertainment Blog Success Story

00:04:24
Find A Way Podcast
You've launched a successful entertainment website right out of high school, which is impressive.
00:04:28
Jhonas Campos
which is really important. Yeah.
00:04:29
Ingrid
you
00:04:30
Find A Way Podcast
Can you share the story behind that venture and the biggest lessons you learned from building it and eventually selling it?
00:04:36
Jhonas Campos
Sure, yeah, thank you. And yeah, as I say, I really like movies. So when I was in high school, I had a lot of time besides high school because I didn't work or need anything else so I used to watch a bunch of movies every day every week and TV shows you know listen to music go to concerts and shows and I was like I should tell the people what I'm feeling you know when I watch these movies because I think's really powerful, the feeling that you have when you have some experience.
00:04:49
Ingrid
you
00:05:08
Jhonas Campos
So I was like, I should, you know, share my experience.
00:05:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:05:09
Ingrid
you
00:05:11
Jhonas Campos
So I started a blog and it was just for fun. I never expected to be a business. It was just like a hobby, you know, I was in high school. So in the afternoon, I was just writing about the movies that I just watch it or the music that I just listen.
00:05:25
Jhonas Campos
And the blog starts to grow and grow. People was reading what I was writing and I was a little bit scary about it because I was not a journalist.
00:05:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:05:29
Ingrid
you
00:05:36
Jhonas Campos
I was not a professional writing. So I was like, OK, I'm just going to write by my own and in my ways. If people like it, they're going to like it. And they really like it.
00:05:47
Jhonas Campos
The blog started to grow so fast and I was like impressed.
00:05:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:05:49
Ingrid
you
00:05:51
Jhonas Campos
And in a certain point, the companies, like the entertainment companies, they started to contact me and they started to say, hey, we went to advertising your website because you have such a nice content and you're writing about our movies or about our music.
00:06:06
Jhonas Campos
So we want to give you money. And I was like, okay, that sounds awesome.
00:06:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:06:09
Ingrid
you
00:06:10
Jhonas Campos
Let's do it. And I started to make some money, which helped me and my family a lot. And I didn't understand literally nothing about making business.
00:06:22
Jhonas Campos
So I was just accepting, you know, all the offers and everything that they offered me.
00:06:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:06:29
Ingrid
you
00:06:29
Jhonas Campos
So I was like, you know, happy doing what I liked it, which was sharing my experience about the stories that I was watching. And this thing became so big that one day this company in Brazil, they call me and they say, hey, we want you us and it was like I don't know like I'm not a journalist I don't know how to write professionally you know and they're like you just keep doing what are you doing because it's good and a few months later they offer me to buy my blog and it was like okay and it was my very first business-related kind of thing.
00:06:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:06:49
Ingrid
you
00:07:06
Jhonas Campos
And when they asked me the question, like, how much do you want?
00:07:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:07:09
Ingrid
you
00:07:11
Jhonas Campos
And I was like, I have no idea. How should I know that? It's just a blog. You can take it. I almost say that. They're like, just take it for you. It's just a blog and finish high school.
00:07:22
Jhonas Campos
So I just had to, you know, starting to prepare my professional life for real. And I met a few people in this journey.
00:07:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:07:29
Ingrid
you
00:07:31
Jhonas Campos
They helped me like a few mentors and they, you know, show me the right ways to negotiate it. So I ended up selling the blog, which helped me to pay for my degree in filmmaker, as a filmmaker, which was really nice for me.
00:07:47
Jhonas Campos
So I started to work professionally with this right after I sell the blog because I started to work with the same company that brought my blog.
00:07:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:07:49
Ingrid
you
00:07:55
Jhonas Campos
So that's how I ended up in this universe and I never stopped it.
00:08:01
Ingrid
That's amazing. It's so cool that like you're writing about something that you're passionate about and then that passion drove it to be able to sell it, find a job and then like continue on a job and then also fund your education.
00:08:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:08:11
Ingrid
It's incredible that you did at a such a young age.

Diverse Media Experience and Its Influence

00:08:14
Jhonas Campos
yeah
00:08:14
Ingrid
um I'm curious to hear, you know, your career has taken you across multiple platforms. So radio, TV, digital campaigns. How did working with such a diverse mix of media shape your approach to marketing communication?
00:08:27
Ingrid
Because most people like, they I don't know, like they focus on ads, they focus on digital media and they go for that.
00:08:29
Jhonas Campos
it yeah
00:08:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:08:30
Jhonas Campos
yeah
00:08:32
Ingrid
So how has that shaped, ah like what are some of the lessons that you've learned over the years in terms of like working with this many different types of media
00:08:41
Jhonas Campos
Yeah, that's a really good question, because when you be talking about communications in media, there's so many different ways that you can Yeah.
00:08:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:08:50
Jhonas Campos
work with, and there's so many different paths that you can take it, because it's such a vast universe, you know, the media. And I had the experience, and I'm really glad that I have to work on TV, radio, magazines, websites, social media, digital work, which is what I'm doing today.
00:09:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:09:09
Ingrid
media.
00:09:12
Jhonas Campos
And during this past 10 years, ah almost 10 years, not 10, but almost 10 years, I had so much um things that I've learned. And I really like to try and experience new things.
00:09:26
Jhonas Campos
That's why I accepted, you know, we have this job for you on the radio.
00:09:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:09:29
Ingrid
you
00:09:30
Jhonas Campos
So do you want to try? I mean, of course, I think I'm very curious. You know, I'm a very curious person. I really like to try new things. And because the media and communications industry, you can use different ways to tell stories.
00:09:45
Jhonas Campos
I want to try everything as possible. like Everything that I can try, I will try.
00:09:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:09:49
Ingrid
you
00:09:49
Jhonas Campos
The radio, you can tell a different way of stories. TV, you can use images. you know The social media, and you can use a different media type. so I was trying to explore everything in this universe to see which one I was going to fit the most, you know, for me as a professional.
00:10:09
Jhonas Campos
And I ended up doing campaigns, advertising for the brands because the brands want to tell their stories, you know, the marketing and communications departments, they they need to tell their stories.
00:10:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:10:09
Ingrid
you
00:10:21
Jhonas Campos
And I really like to have new ideas. So I figured out that I really like, I'm really good having ideas and sharing my ideas with the people.
00:10:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:10:29
Ingrid
you
00:10:31
Jhonas Campos
So that's the way that I find myself doing advertising because I can talk to people. I can share my ideas to people and help them to, you know, build their own brands and build their own business through the media, through the visuals, and through the communication.
00:10:48
Jhonas Campos
So that's where I find myself today, you know helping people to visualize what they want using media.
00:10:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:10:49
Ingrid
you
00:10:57
Find A Way Podcast
That's incredible, Jonas.
00:11:00
Find A Way Podcast
And I do want to ask you more also about how, because I think it's impressive, you know, being an immigrant, I love that we're able to meet some people. um Like for you, you're a fellow Brazilian as well.
00:11:09
Ingrid
you
00:11:12
Find A Way Podcast
And we were able to meet each other as well as me and Ingrid in another country, you know, completely out of our home country of origin um and ah connect so well with some other individuals.
00:11:12
Jhonas Campos
yeah
00:11:17
Jhonas Campos
um
00:11:19
Jhonas Campos
yeah
00:11:25
Find A Way Podcast
So I want to understand a little bit more about how Canada stepped into the picture. I know you mentioned you were in an exchange program in Canada, and I want to understand the biggest takeaway from that program and how to influence your decision to launch JCDS.
00:11:29
Jhonas Campos
Yes.
00:11:29
Ingrid
you
00:11:33
Jhonas Campos
yeah
00:11:41
Find A Way Podcast
So a little bit about that journey
00:11:41
Jhonas Campos
Yeah.

How Canada Changed Jonas's Perspective

00:11:43
Jhonas Campos
Yeah. So, yeah, my first time in Canada was in 2019 when I decided to make this exchange program, which is very curious because I was working in Brazil and I was having, you know, my life, my normal life, my comfortable life in Brazil, doing my own thing, my own stuff.
00:11:49
Ingrid
you
00:12:01
Jhonas Campos
And one day someone offered to me this opportunity. And it's because one of my jobs that I used to volunteer as marketing people for for this organization.
00:12:09
Ingrid
you
00:12:09
Find A Way Podcast
little bit about that journey.
00:12:12
Jhonas Campos
And they have these exchange programs for a young adults. So one day they offered me as a thank you, you know, for my volunteer. And I was like, I don't know about that.
00:12:23
Jhonas Campos
You know, I'm working. I have, have my you know own stuff. I'm living my life. I'm living my best right now.
00:12:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:12:29
Ingrid
you
00:12:29
Jhonas Campos
I was like 21. I was like, I don't know if I want that. And they explained to me how we work. like We can send you to North America or Europe. You can choose. And it's all on us.
00:12:41
Jhonas Campos
You just have to go and work for a year in a place that we're going to direct to you. And I really thought about that.
00:12:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:12:49
Ingrid
you
00:12:49
Jhonas Campos
And I was going to say no. ah Thank God I say yes. And I say yes. And I was like, OK, let's go. Let's do this. So they sent me to Canada.
00:13:00
Jhonas Campos
And I choose Canada as a first option. ah But I didn't know anything about Canada. I didn't know anything about the US or Europe because I never left to Brazil before.
00:13:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:13:09
Ingrid
you
00:13:11
Jhonas Campos
It's going to be my first time, you know. So for some reason that I can't explain, I choose Canada. I don't know. I just choose Canada. They send me here. And I had a really great experience.
00:13:24
Jhonas Campos
Probably was the most great experience in my entire life because, you know, it opened my eyes.
00:13:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:13:29
Ingrid
you
00:13:29
Jhonas Campos
It opened my mind. And me as a person, as a professional here in Canada, I work in a totally different field. I work in a drip shop. It's like, you know, was in a smaller community in Omara.
00:13:43
Jhonas Campos
It was like 10,000 people living there. So it's really small, different from my reality. I grew up in a big city in Curitiba.
00:13:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:13:49
Ingrid
you
00:13:50
Jhonas Campos
So it was completely different. And I had a really great experience. ah First of all, with people, you know, people here are different. You know, you guys know what I'm saying. Like people here are, you know, kind, they're different.
00:14:03
Jhonas Campos
They welcome me really well. It makes me feel at home in here. I was really happy to be here.
00:14:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:14:09
Ingrid
you
00:14:11
Jhonas Campos
I started to see how things besides Brazil because my word was Brazil. It was Curitiba. My bubble was there.
00:14:22
Jhonas Campos
I didn know, the vision about how it's to work and how it's to be different in a different culture with different people doing different stuff.
00:14:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:14:29
Ingrid
you
00:14:34
Jhonas Campos
And when I was here in 2019, I started to see that the world is much bigger than we thought. And I was like, I really like this place. Like I should work here or I should do something in here.
00:14:47
Jhonas Campos
And I saw the potential of this country and I saw how people could help me because I really feel welcome.
00:14:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:14:49
Ingrid
you
00:14:54
Jhonas Campos
And this is a big thing for me when you work with people that really helps you. Or when you have people in your life not related to work with family or friends that really help you, it really makes a difference for you know for your life.
00:15:06
Jhonas Campos
And I lived with a family. I have the experience to live with a Canadian family.
00:15:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:15:09
Ingrid
you
00:15:10
Jhonas Campos
I made some friends. And it changed completely my life for real. And I went back to Brazil. I went back to work with my old stuff, doing the same thing, communications.
00:15:24
Jhonas Campos
But I started to think there's something else. There's so much more out there that I can do.
00:15:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:15:29
Ingrid
you
00:15:30
Jhonas Campos
And there's so much more that I can try. And so why not? You know, so just let go. I already did for a year. So I started to think in different ways to make business because during the past years before Canada, I was I was growing as a professional so I was having ideas I opened my own company in Brazil you know to ah do services for other companies in marketing communications field and I start to think why not do this in Canada Canada it's you know much speaker area, they have a much bigger area than here and there's so much to explore.
00:15:49

00:16:11
Jhonas Campos
The media is growing so fast, the digital out of home is growing so fast, it's something new. So I think you should try and then I and here i am today ah yeah
00:16:27
Ingrid
That's awesome. I love that. And it it really, like those experiences really shape us in the sense of like really seeing what else is out there, as you said, right?
00:16:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:16:36
Ingrid
It's incredible.
00:16:36
Jhonas Campos
yes
00:16:37
Ingrid
um I'm curious. So we know that you contact and manage high profile accounts like ah Warner Bros, McDonald, and Disney.

Big Brand Projects and Storytelling in Brazil

00:16:46
Jhonas Campos
did try and here I am today. So yeah.
00:16:46
Ingrid
Can you walk us through one of the most challenging or rewarding projects you've led?
00:16:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:16:51
Ingrid
And you know what made it stand out for you? like What was a cool project that you worked on?
00:17:00
Jhonas Campos
they are related to the move industry. So because I really like movies, I never worked as a filmmaker or in the or in the industry, but I had a chance to work for the marketing of these movies, which was amazing.
00:17:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:17:13
Jhonas Campos
Like, you know, doing the marketing and doing the planning for the the releases of these movies was incredible. And I had a chance to work with Warner Bros., Disney, Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures in Brazil.
00:17:27
Jhonas Campos
And it was amazing every time that I had a project with them.
00:17:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:17:29
Ingrid
you
00:17:31
Jhonas Campos
I was so excited. And I had a chance to meet so many so many good people. I had the chance to have so great experiences and to understand how it works.
00:17:42
Jhonas Campos
Something that you release in the entire world. Because a movie, usually, it's released in the entire, not just only in Brazil, you know.
00:17:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:17:49
Ingrid
you
00:17:50
Jhonas Campos
And I had a chance to work with international teams, with international people. And it's so exciting when you have the chance to work with you like it. Because, first of all, I had the chance to see the movie before everyone else, which was amazing.
00:18:04
Jhonas Campos
So I watched the movie. So when you watch the movie, you need ideas, which I really like.
00:18:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:18:09
Ingrid
you
00:18:11
Jhonas Campos
I like to have ideas. So you have to think and you have to think how the movie, I don't know, Gladiator is going to be good for people. How can I make people go to the movie theater and see that movie and have the experience to live that movie and the movie theater?
00:18:27
Jhonas Campos
How am I going to do that? So I have you know this chance to create it and chance to share my ideas.
00:18:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:18:29
Ingrid
you
00:18:35
Jhonas Campos
And it was really nice. I had so many projects in Brazil with the movie industry. And die all of them were really nice. And the most big challenge is that you have to talk with different people like because Brazil it's really really big so you have to have plans for the south of Brazil for the north you know for each state it's different people are different so you have to think about everyone which is a really good part and something that I have learned these past years it's that you have to work with different people sometimes for the for just one product one services so you just have to learn how things works and working with people could be complex but but it is really um a lesson that you learn every day you know, because you can watch something and understand something.

I can watch something and understand something else, right? So the way that you communicate it and the way that the visuals can communicate it, it's really powerful, right? So you have to do this very carefully because it's something that is going to impact lives.
00:19:45
Jhonas Campos
movies they have this power to impact lives so that's really cool I also had the chance to work with other kind of brands and companies in Brazil doing this marketing and communication stuff like telling stories and you know part of my job was decide which media would be the best for that project.
00:19:49
Ingrid
you
00:19:49

00:20:06
Jhonas Campos
Like, ah we should work with the TV, we should work with the radio, we should work with magazines, which one is best for this kind of project.
00:20:09
Ingrid
you
00:20:09
Find A Way Podcast
Thank you.
00:20:15
Jhonas Campos
So the experiences that I had really, you know, made me as a professional that I am today because I was able to understand all of the ways and paths that the communication has.
00:20:29

00:20:29

And working with movies movies especially for me was really grateful because I had the chance to tell to the tell the people literally go watch this movie because it's going to be really cool.
00:20:41
Jhonas Campos
But doing you know the big ah marketing plans for these big companies, which is best if I spark because they came to you and they say, we need that this movie goes really well in Brazil.
00:20:49

What can you do for us? And then I can have my ideas and i'll and share my ideas with people. And a bunch of these projects, I had a chance to take people to watch the movies and I was there like on the premieres of these movies.
00:21:09

Ingrid

00:21:11
Jhonas Campos
And the best part for me is watch the people watching the movies because it was like, you know, they're watching the movies and it was like, that's so cool because they're, you know, s seeing the story, listening to the stories.
00:21:21
Jhonas Campos
And that's the best part of my job. It's see the react of the people receiving what I was doing. you know um me Yeah.
00:21:29
Find A Way Podcast
you I'm a big person on, you know, connecting with others.
00:21:29
Ingrid
you
00:21:34
Find A Way Podcast
I love people. I love what people provide us in terms of exchanging energy, you know, learning their backgrounds. I'm i'm huge on that. um And focusing also, I'm huge on you know human development and self-development and all of that.
00:21:49
Ingrid
you
00:21:49
Find A Way Podcast
So um understanding your from your point of view and how you set goals for yourself and of course, being a business um owner, you also, I assume you have goals for your business as well.
00:22:02
Find A Way Podcast
So looking ahead, what are the goals for JCDS and how do you see the digital media landscape

Empowering Small and Medium Businesses

00:22:09
Find A Way Podcast
evolving, especially for small and medium sized businesses?
00:22:09
Ingrid
you
00:22:14
Jhonas Campos
That's a good question. ah It's a really hard for me to think about the future because there's so many things that I want. I am the kind of person that I want to do everything at the same time.
00:22:26
Jhonas Campos
I do so many things. I want to go to so so many ways and different ways.
00:22:29
Ingrid
you
00:22:31
Jhonas Campos
But, yeah you know, my goal is to help especially small and medium business to tell their stories through the media. So this is my first goal.
00:22:42
Jhonas Campos
Like it's help as much people as possible. So, you know, going through these small communities, small towns around Ontario and help them to build the stories and chieftain teach them how to tell the stories using the media.
00:22:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:22:49
Ingrid
you
00:22:59
Jhonas Campos
And let's say that in five years, I want to be in a place that I see myself as I'm seeing today, looking for my past five years right now, which is, you know, I did a lot of cool projects.
00:23:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:23:09
Ingrid
you
00:23:14
Jhonas Campos
I help a lot of brands and people to tell their stories. And I don't need to be, you know, a big startup, a big company or a billion dollar company. My goal is to, you know, continue to be happy working with this and helping people to build their own stories and tell their own stories.
00:23:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:23:29
Ingrid
you
00:23:31
Jhonas Campos
So in five years, I'm seeing myself, you know, just doing what I'm doing right now, you know, with my own company. Of course, everyone wants to grow as a business owner, as an an entrepreneur, because, of course, money, it's a part of the thing that makes things work.
00:23:49
Jhonas Campos
This is something that, you know, you cannot run away from it.
00:23:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:23:49
Ingrid
you
00:23:53
Jhonas Campos
But when I i' talk about people and about my goals, I just want to be in a place that I can see for a fact that I help people. know The fact that I help people and businesses, doing my business and doing my services and doing things as a professional, it's my main goal.
00:24:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:24:09
Ingrid
you
00:24:13
Jhonas Campos
And I want to grow the company not only on in Ontario, but all across Canada, of course, you know helping small communities, helping people to understand how it works, how media works, how it can be really benefit for their businesses.
00:24:29
Find A Way Podcast

So, yeah, I see myself in five years now being very short here, being successful, which means being happy, helping other people, and in all over canada guess that's my answer

Advice for Aspiring Professionals

00:24:47
Ingrid
That's awesome. I love that. And um I'm curious, you know, now that you've been through that journey, you're now working in Canada, if you could give yourself, your younger self, one piece of advice, considering everything you've been through, what would it be
00:24:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:25:01
Jhonas Campos
over Canada I guess that's my answer well I guess it would I would tell myself to work with people that have experience.
00:25:09

you
00:25:10
Jhonas Campos
Work with older people, you know, because it's always good to learn from others. know It's always good to learn if you've already been what you're trying to do.
00:25:22
Jhonas Campos
And it's always good to listen to other people's stories and experiences. And because I'm a very energetic person, I always want to do everything at the same time because I think I can do.
00:25:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:25:29
Ingrid
it be?
00:25:36
Jhonas Campos
When I was younger, it was worse because I always thought that I could do everything. And it's not like that, right? You cannot do everything. So I've learned a lot of things.
00:25:47
Jhonas Campos
I've learned that I cannot do everything that I want, that I have to learn.
00:25:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:25:49

I cannot skip steps. I think that's the most important thing. You have to go through every step, the process. You have to make all the process. You just cannot skip to the level one.
00:26:04
Jhonas Campos
That's not how it works. And I would tell myself to, you know, just breathe, calm down.
00:26:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:26:09
Ingrid
you
00:26:11
Jhonas Campos
Everything's going to work out. You know, it's just, you have to go to every step. It doesn't matter if it takes one month or a year. It's going to work. Just be patient.
00:26:21
Find A Way Podcast
We could say the lader ladder effect, right? One step at a time. So you can go climb up the ladder.
00:26:25
Jhonas Campos
Yeah.
00:26:26
Find A Way Podcast
I love that analogy.
00:26:27
Jhonas Campos
like
00:26:28
Find A Way Podcast
um And now we're stepping to some more personal questions.
00:26:29
Ingrid
you
00:26:31
Find A Way Podcast
As you can see,

Dream Dinner with Beyonce

00:26:33
Jhonas Campos
yeah
00:26:33
Find A Way Podcast
ah if you could have dinner with any person, alive or dead, whether they're a business, um you know, just an icon, a celebrity or anybody ah alive or dead, who would you have dinner with?
00:26:46
Jhonas Campos
I would say, before I say the name, I want to justify myself, Exactly.
00:26:49
Ingrid
you
00:26:49
Jhonas Campos
Yeah. because I really like how the business people work, like the like the mindset works, you know. and I'm always really curious to understand what the actress is thinking, how she's making the business work.
00:27:07
Jhonas Campos
I really like to see the whole vision of the things.
00:27:09
Ingrid
you
00:27:11
Jhonas Campos
And I think that's one person in the entertainment industry that does this really well. It's Beyonce. She's a singer, but she's also a businesswoman.
00:27:23
Jhonas Campos
And it's really powerful because she had she has so many businesses besides the music.
00:27:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:27:29
Ingrid
you
00:27:30
Jhonas Campos
And the way that she does, it really, you know, takes me like the curiosity, like how it works. Or for an example, in Brazil, I'm going to say like a Brazilian name that I think it's really, I don't know, some people cant may not agree, but I think it's really inspiring how Anita, you know, works as a business woman, you know, how she does the marketing, the business, and how the creativity, you know, her mind works.
00:27:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:27:49
Ingrid
you
00:28:03
Jhonas Campos
It's so bright, I think, for me, because she can see a singer, but also a business person, which is really incredible how she does everything.
00:28:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:28:09
Ingrid
you
00:28:11
Jhonas Campos
And that Beyonce has a personal, of a global impact, to how she works and how she plans everything, you know, and how she also do the visuals or not visuals, but, you know, I don't know i would say that
00:28:26
Ingrid
I love that. i It's incredible. It's just like those ah business people that do so many other things.
00:28:29
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:28:32
Ingrid
It's just kind of like how do they process and how do they, like in terms of marketing even, how do they like plan everything?
00:28:39
Jhonas Campos
yes
00:28:39
Ingrid
I really agree with you. um So our previous guest always leaves a question for the next guest. And the question that we have for you today is, if you are to dance or play music, which one would you choose?
00:28:49
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:28:49
Jhonas Campos
know.
00:28:53
Jhonas Campos
I music. Yeah.
00:28:56
Ingrid
Nice. Do you play any specific instruments? That's fair.
00:28:59
Jhonas Campos
No, I'm terrible doing that it
00:29:03
Ingrid
I have two left hands so ah for for music instruments as well.
00:29:05
Jhonas Campos
no
00:29:06
Ingrid
So I like playing. Doesn't mean that i'm good at it as well so yeah I agree
00:29:09
Find A Way Podcast
you
00:29:10
Jhonas Campos
that. Yeah, I would like to learn, but you know, I'm not I would really like to have the ability of multiply myself.
00:29:18
Find A Way Podcast
um And you already touched upon this, but I don't want to be redundant, but what is success? If you could summarize in one phrase, and you kind of already did that, but what is success to Jonas? Love it.
00:29:36
Ingrid
i love that and if you could choose a superpower, what would that be and why?
00:29:47
Jhonas Campos
I need more than one Jonas sometimes. I need more than one mind thinking because my mind goes crazy. Because I really am a person that thinks too much.
00:29:59
Jhonas Campos
Sometimes it's like my mind just don't stop. I have this problem sometimes that I was just thinking, thinking, thinking. It's too crazy, you know, or stop my mind.
00:30:08
Find A Way Podcast
Thank
00:30:09
Jhonas Campos
That would be a good superpower.

Jhonas Campos
The first one is The Founder. It's the story of McDonald's. For the ones that are wondering how McDonald's were created, it's a really interesting business movie.
00:32:05
Jhonas Campos
you know, as a business point of view. It could be a really, you know, sometimes very, yeah there's a few problems, but, you know, looking at a business point of view right now, it's a really good movie.
00:32:09
Ingrid
you
00:32:15
Jhonas Campos
And also um Joy. Joy, it's a movie with the Jennifer Lawrence. It's about a very powerful woman and the entrepreneur. She made like a billionaire empire with her story and the product that she made

Sometimes could be really hard. Sometimes could be really frustrating, you know, to be far from your family or with your friends and from your home. But it's worth when you have consistency and when you have a goal, a clear goal in your life and ah try to be happy doing what you're doing.
